Chaos in Fillydelphiaby Twilight the unicornChapters%Chapter 1%Chapter 2Chapter 3%Chapter 1%Chapter 1: In all of Equestria, in the city of Fillydelphia, and earth pony named Twilight Twinkle, was walking down the streets of the busy city. The cool breeze blew through her pink, purple, and blue mane. She closed her brilliant, sky blue eyes. Today just seemed so perfect…until she bumped into her second cousin Lemon Drop. Lemon Drop always tried to make herself seem better than others. “Hey! Watch were you’re going, Twi Twin!” Twi Twin has been Twilight Twinkle’s nickname, ever since she met her good friend Twilight the unicorn. “Sorry, Lemon Drop, but I’m in a hurry to get to Twilight’s psychiatrist office for a meeting!” “Oh, you’re going to your friend’s shrink office? I always knew you needed one.” Lemon Drop started to block Twilight Twinkle from galloping away. “Lemon Drop, please let me get through!” “I bet you can’t even think about where you’re going! I’m sure you’re probably gonna go and run after fireflies, again.” Twilight Twinkle had enough! She pushed the yellow earth pony out of her way and galloped to Twilight’s office. Lemon Drop always made Twilight Twinkle feel bad, ever since she was a little filly. When young Twi Twin turned only five years old, Lemon Drop stole Twilight Twinkle’s new necklace that her friend, Thistle Whistle gave her. When Twi Twin saw this, she threw cake at her and swiped her necklace back. Lemon Drop then punched her little second cousin in the face. Twilight Twinkle remembered that day so well, she could practically feel the stinging pain of the punch. Of course, now that Twilight Twinkle is older, she learned to avoid Lemon Drop as much as she can. Finally, she got to her friend, Twilight’s office, where she often held her meetings. When Twi Twin trotted inside, Twilight was arguing with her cousin Star Hopper. “Star Hopper, how many times do I have to tell you?! Get out of my office!!!” “Why should I? Is it because I’m a better psychiatrist than you are?” “I don’t care how good you think you are, Star Hopper. You are not allowed to be rude to patients who have mental issues. So just GET. OUT. NOW!!!” “Fine, I’ll leave, but I’ll be back, Twilight! I’m gonna prove to you that I’m just as good with patients as you are!” Star Hopper ran out of the office, furiously. Twilight glared at her cousin from the glossy window pane, and turned towards her friend. “I’m sorry, you had to witness that, Twi Twin. I just don’t understand why she’d do that. Maybe she thinks I’m a good influence on her.” Twilight Twinkle shook her head in confusion. “I don’t know at all, Twilight. You’re good at figuring out what other ponies are doing; all I ever do is serve ponies at Sweetberry’s Sweet Shoppe.” “Thank you, Twi Twin, but I’d really have to study her behavior, before I know what she’s up to. Anyway, could you go and get the others and bring them here for an emergency meeting?” “Sure, I’ll do it.” “Thank you are for coming here, I-” Twilight looked all around the library part of her office. The only ponies that were there was: herself, Twilight Twinkle, and Surprise! “Surprise, do you know where everypony else is?” “Hmm, let’s see…” The Pegasus flew up and looked around. “…there’s me, you, and Twi Twin!” “I know that, Surprise, I’m wondering were Firefly, Sparkler, Sunset Shimmer, and Posey are.” Twilight Twinkle yawned and rubbed her sky blue eyes, “All I know is that Posey was gonna do some gardening; Sunset Shimmer was gonna sort out Princess Precious Gem’s books; Firefly was doing some kind of flying stunt moves; and Sparkler was making some necklaces for her shop.” “But did they say that they’d come?” “Yeah, after they finish their work.” Suddenly, the door swung open. A pink Pegasus, a light blue unicorn, and a yellow earth pony, walked in, slowly. “Hey, guys,” Firefly flew up. “Hello, everypony,” Sparkler flipped her mane. “Um, hi…I think?” Posey hid her face under her long pink mane. “Girls, where were you?” “I was practicing my stunt moves.” “I had to make thirty-four necklaces!” “And I….uh, had to um, water my plants.” Twilight looked at the three young mares and arched and eyebrow. “Sooo, anyway-“ “Oooh, Oooh!” Surprise popped her hoof in the air. “Twilight! Twilight! Twilight!” Twilight rolled her violet eyes and scanned the room for Surprise. “Yes, Surprise.” “I saw my evil aunt, along with your cousin!” Posey nodded in agreement. “I saw them too, and I also saw my evil sister.” “Okay, anypony else want to INTERUPT ME?!” Twilight yelled. Posey hid her face again; Sparkler looked away from Twilight; Twi Twin looked at the floor; Surprise’s springy yellow mane fell flat; and Firefly looked at her hoof. Twilight’s mane had gone frizzy and her eyelid was slightly twitching. She sighed and saw what she’d done to her good friends. When her friends were trotting out, Twilight suddenly spoke up. “I’m sorry, girls. I didn’t mean to hurt any of you. Can you ever forgive me?” The ponies stopped and turned towards Twilight. Surprisingly, Posey spoke first. “Oh, of course, we forgive you Twilight!” “Do you really mean it?” “Duh, of course we mean it!” Firefly grinned. The ponies swept Twilight into a huge, friendly hug. “Sorry, I yelled at you guys, it just that Star Hopper got me so mad-“ Firefly held a hoof up. “Say no more. I know how annoying it is to have somepony bother you all day.” Surprise jumped. “Who bothers you all day? Is it me?” Firefly shook her head. “No not you, silly. It’s Powder. She always asks ‘Do you want to build a snowpony?’ Trust me, it’s annoying.” Surprise bounced up. “She is annoying? Wow, I never knew that. She sounds worse than my evil aunt, Morning Monarch; and trust me she’s bad.” “Anyway,” Twilight smoothed her bangs. “So, Posey what’s your sister’s name?” “Oh, my sister’s name is uh, Skydancer. She’s a Pegasus.” Twilight narrowed her eyes. “Hmm, but you’re not a Pegasus, you’re an earth pony. Are one of your parents a Pegasus?” “Well, my mom is an earth pony, and my dad is one, too. But my uncle is a Pegasus, so maybe that’s where she uh, gets it from.” “So how is she mean to you?” “Ever since my big brother, Big Tex and I were little, she always hit us, threw stuff at us, things like that.” “Hmm, interesting” Chapter 2Chapter 2: The next day was a terrible one in the fair city of Fillydelphia; ponies were being tricked by Lemon Drop, Skydancer, Morning Monarch, and Star Hopper. “Hi, Minty,” Star Hopper smirked. “Would you like some buttercream minty cupcakes? They’re only a dollar.” Since almost anypony could trick her into eating something, Minty fell for it. Especially since it had something to do with mint. “Sure, I’ll buy it!” Minty gave a dollar to Star Hopper and ran on home to gobble up her cupcake. But when Minty bit into the cupcake, she quickly spit it out. “Blech! What kind of cupcake is this?!” She noticed it was stale. And outside her window she could see Star Hopper laughing like a hyena! “Oooh, that terrible unicorn…she’s gonna pay for this!” Minty’s thoughts screamed. Meanwhile, up in the sky, Morning Monarch, struck Sprinkles’ tail, with a bolt of lightning. “Aaaahhhhh!” Sprinkle screeched. Then she suddenly heard laughing from somepony. She looked up and saw Morning Monarch was the one who did it. “Hey! That wasn’t very nice, Morning Monarch!” Sprinkles thrust her hoof upward. Later that day, that group of mischievous ponies, tricked almost twenty-five ponies already. Finally, Minty, Sprinkles, Bowtie, Light Heart and Ploomette had enough! The five friends galloped over to the Dream Castle to tell Princess Precious Gem and her younger sister, Majesty about the tricking. “Princess!” the ponies called, when they ran in the castle. “We have an urgent message!” “Whoa, slow down, ponies!” a raspy voice called. The five ponies turned their heads towards a unicorn with a red and purple streaked mane. The unicorn giggled. “Sorry, if I scared you. I’m Moondancer, Princess Precious Gem’s royal advisor.” “Well, now you tell us,” Bowtie grumbled. “Ignore her,” Light Heart pushed Bowtie aside. “Anyway, some mean…” “…crazy,” Minty added. “…wacky,” Ploomette put in. “…annoying ponies ran all over Fillydelphia trying to trick everypony, into doing dumb things,” Light Heart finished. “Hmm…” Moondancer wondered. “Well,” she said out loud. “Maybe I should ask Princess Majesty’s royal advisor, Sunset Shimmer.” “Do you think she’s heard of them?” Sprinkles asked. “I don’t really know, unless I ask.” Moondancer trotted towards another room and left, leaving the five friends alone with their thoughts. The five wondered were the Princesses were, and waited for Moondancer to come out of the other room with Sunset Shimmer. Soon they saw Moondancer, Sunset Shimmer, Princess Precious Gem, and her younger sister, Princess Majesty, all walking out of the other room. The sun shone on the sisters’ faces. They looked as Sparkler would say it “Absolutely magnificent!” The five ponies began to bow to the princesses, but Princess Precious Gem held out her hoof. “Please,” she began. “Don’t bow down to us. We’re normal ponies, just like you.” Princess Majesty was shocked. “But, Sister! That’s not the royal way!” “Majesty, my little sister, please understand that we’re just as normal as everypony else. Okay?” Majesty nodded slowly. “I understand, Sister.” Princess Precious Gem cocked her head to the side. “Moondancer informed me about these…how should I say it? Oh, yes, these prank playing ponies.” “She did?” Bowtie asked. Light Heart hit Bowtie’s hoof. “Oh, yeah! I mean she did. She did!” “Anyway,” Majesty said. “Moondancer and Sunset Shimmer are to make flyers about these ponies to all of Fillydelphia.” Later that day, there were posters all over the bustling city. Especially all over Mayor Flitter Flutter’s office. “You can never be too careful,” she said. At Sweetberry’s Sweet Shoppe, the topic of the day was all about those ponies. They even hung some wanted posters on the windows! “I can’t believe our fair city is actually scared of those pranking ponies. I think everypony is just getting over nothing. And doesn’t help now that our ridiculous, worrying mayor is just doing nothing but promoting it. Like we need more problems,” Sweetberry lectured her employees. Sweetberry always complained about everything. Her name means the complete opposite of her personality. Twilight Twinkle, who was one of the waitresses, agreed. “I know, but our mayor does tend to worry a lot.” “Boy, does she.” “Excuse me, Sweetberry?” Sweetberry’s twin sister cupcake squeaked. Sweetberry sighed and rolled her aqua blue eyes. “Yes, Cupcake.” “I didn’t mean to bother you but-“ “BUT WHAT!?” Sweetberry snapped. Sweetberry’s employees’ eyes grew wide. None of them would treat their siblings that way. “I think Sweetberry is more like her dad than her mom,” a waitress named, Dewdrop Dazzle whispered to Twi Twin. “How do you figure that?” Twi Twin whispered back to the aqua unicorn. Dewdrop Dazzle thought for a moment before saying, “Because their dad, Wigwam acts like a chief around everypony, while their mom, Autumn is really sweet.” Twilight Twinkle giggled. “I’m sure he does if his name is Chief.” Meanwhile, up in the sky, Firefly, Medley, Thistle Whistle, Sky Wishes, Sprinkles, and Star Catcher were cleaning the sky of any stray storm clouds. Thistle Whistle kicked a cloud and whistled, “I can’t believe the tricker ponies-“ “Tricking ponies!” Sprinkles corrected. “-tricking ponies are going to take over Fillydelphia!” “WHAT?!” Everypony, except Thistle Whistle were shocked. “Where’d you here that from?” asked Sky Wishes. “At the La-ti-da Hair & Spa.” “The spa/salon talks?! Whoa, that’s creepy.” Sprinkles blinked. Thistle Whistle laughed, “No silly,” she whistled the indication for silly. “Kimono told everypony there at the salon/spa place, thingy.” “Oh, okay! Now I get it, I thought you meant the salon told you that,” Sprinkles did a nervous laugh. Medley shook her head at Sprinkles, then asked, “Where did Kimono here this from?” Before the whistling, blue Pegasus could answer, Star Song joined them. “Hey, Star Song, what’s up?” Sprinkles asked. “Nothing MUCH.” she sang. “Okay, okay, you don’t have to sing it!” Sprinkles put her hooves on her ears. While the other ponies were talking more about the tricking ponies and what they did that day, Firefly turned towards her friend, Star Catcher, who had been quiet the whole time they were working. She noticed Star Catcher was crying, softly; so Firefly landed on the cloud next to her friend’s. “Star Catcher, you haven’t said a word all day. Are you okay?” Star Catcher quickly wiped the tears from her aqua blue eyes. “I’m fine. I’ve just been…thinking.” The tall, white Pegasus tried to smile, but Firefly knew that on the inside, Star Catcher was hurting. She folded her magnificent blue wings and hid her face underneath her blue, pink, and white, streaked mane. Something was definitely wrong. Chapter 3Chapter 3: Sometime in the evening, Twilight held yet another emergency meeting at her office/house. Surprise, Posey, Twilight Twinkle, Firefly, Sparkler, and even Sparkler’s twin sister, Sunset Shimmer showed up at the meeting. “So, has anypony heard anything new about the Trickster ponies?” Surprise waved her hoof in the air. “Oooh! Oooh! Oooh! I-“ Twilight answered Surprise right away. “Yes, Surprise.” “You didn’t even let me explain it yet, Twilight!” “I know that Surprise, I am a psychiatrist, after all.” “TWILIGHT!” the other ponies rolled their eyes. “Okay, okay, sorry, sorry. Anyway, tell me what you heard, Surprise.” “Okay, so today when I was shopping at the Supermarket Store, Lulu Luck the manager, told me that my evil aunt, Morning Monarch stole an entire tub of ice cream from there. Lulu was not happy about it, at all.” The unicorn twins were shocked. “What?! Why would your aunt steal an entire tub of ice cream for?” “Well, I don’t know,” Surprise shrugged. “But that’s what she told me.” Sunset raised her hoof. “Yes, Sunset,” Twilight answered her. "Well, today, at the Dream Castle, Bowtie, Light Heart, Ploomette, Sprinkles and Minty came and told us that the Trickster ponies were playing well, of course, some tricks earlier in the morning.” “Uh, excuse me, um, Sunset, but…May I ask you a question?” “Yeah, go ahead, Posey.” “What kind of tricks did the Trickster ponies do?” “Well, I remember something about…um, let me see, uh, oh, yes! Something about giving out stale cupcakes, almost hurting Sprinkles, things like that.” “Oh, my! Those poor, innocent, hurt Little Ponies!” “Yeah, I know, Sprinkles’ flank has a terrible bruise on it, because she fell of her cloud. The bruise is extremely heinous.” “Hay-knee-us? Who’s that? I’ve never met them before,” Surprise asked. The other ponies rolled their eyes. “Surprise!” Firefly shouted. “It’s not a pony, it’s a word.” “What does it mean, Firefly? Huh, huh, huh?” “I don’t know; Twilight, why don’t you tell her.” “Heinous means disgusting. You know gross things like that.” Posey hid her face in her mane. “That sounds scary.” Sunset nodded, her light blue eyes wide. “Trust me, it is.” Twilight Twinkle groaned. “Ugh, whatever.” The next day, Posey woke up, to go and tend her garden. But just before she got outside, there was a loud knock on her door. “Open up!” she heard the loud voice say. “Uh, I’m not opening up this door, unless, you, uh, tell me who you really are.” Suddenly, the knocking stopped. She heard a little sigh, and finally the voice answered her. “Posey, it’s me, your sister, Skydancer.” Posey suddenly squeaked. She suddenly remembered that her only sister was a part of the Trickster ponies group. “Uh, well, uh, yes, Skydancer? Is there anything that you needed?” “Well, first of all, open the door!” “Alright, I uh, will, I guess. But if you try to hurt me or my plant friends I will…” Posey scanned the room for something that she could use, suddenly she saw her dad’s old baseball bat. “…uh, I will, USE THIS BASEBALL BAT!” “Fine, whatever, just let me tell you something!” Posey grasped the bat firmly in her hooves, she was ready for anything. When Posey opened the door, she could see her sister’s hot pink eyes flashing, with what looked like to Posey, anger. She was even more afraid of her older sister than ever. “Well, Posey,” Skydancer said, her voice rising with an angry tone. “Uh, y-yes,” Posey hid behind the baseball bat. Skydancer continued. “I absolutely hate to tell you this but…The Trickster ponies and I are going to start a war on your little city, but we won’t just do it on your little city, oh, no, we’re gonna go all the way to the capitol of Equestria, which is none other than CANTERLOT!” “No! You can’t do that; Princess Celestia and Princess Luna live there, and they are much more powerful, than any of you or your friends could ever try to be!” Skydancer laughed. “What kind of power could those two Alicorns possibly have against me and my friends?” “Well, I’ll go and tell Princess Precious Gem and Princess Majesty, and they will tell Princess Celestia and Luna. And you and your friends will get in trouble. Mom and Dad are probably not happy about that.” Skydancer flew away laughing. When she got to her home in the Hollow Shades outside of Fillydelphia, one of her teenage dragon friends named, Garble was waiting there for her, smirking. “So, how did it go, with your little sister?” “Oh, it went totally awesome, Garble. When I told her that we were starting the war, she looked so terrified!” Skydancer suddenly burst into a fit of giggles. Never had she seen her sister’s face so terrified in her whole entire life! “Hey, you always do a very good job at frightening ponies.” “Can I help it, if I’m sooo good?” “Mm, no, I guess you can’t then!” Garble started laughing so hard, that fire started come out of his mouth. Not far from there, in the glorious skies of Fillydelphia, the Pegasus ponies on weather patrol team were all panicking, almost every pony was, except for Star Catcher and Firefly. Since Firefly was the co-captain of the weather patrol team, she took matters into her own hooves. “Skywishes, move that cloud over to northern side! Thistle Whistle, Ploomette, and Medley move that huge one over to the east; Sprinkles, Star Song, and Cloud Climber move those three clouds to the north-west and kick the extra two. Let’s move it, ponies!” While those Pegasi on the team were toiling around, Firefly saw Star Catcher, who was captain, looking down at the ground, below. “What’s wrong, Star Catcher, usually you give more orders than I do. It’s like I’m almost doing your job.” Star Catcher turned to face her friend, with tear-stained eyes. Firefly felt bad for her friend. “I’m fine, Firefly, really,” she did a small, weak smile. Firefly shook her head. “No, Star Catcher,” she replied. “something’s not.”
