"Face it Doctor, you have no idea where we are." Peri said, crossing her arms.
"Of course I know, don't be silly." The Doctor said without looking up from the TARDIS console.
"Oh Yeah? Well, where are we, than?"
The Doctor stomped his foot and looked up at his companion.
"You know, it would be very nice if I could just take us somewhere without you questioning every single thing i do!"
"Oh, please!" Peri rolled her eyes, "You always say that, and you always get us lost."
"We are not lost! Now would you kindly be quiet for one second and let me work?!"
peri threw her arms in the air in frustration. "you're such a hot head sometimes!" she said before leaving the room. The Doctor continued pressing random bottons on the console without looking up. Suddenly realizing what Peri said, he stopped and raised his head.
" A hot head?" he said, surprised at his companion's rudness, "A hot head???" He yelled and turned to follow after Peri, "Now, you listen to me! I am..." He started saying, but before he could finish the TARDIS started shaking. He fell to the floor as the whole room shook.
"Doctor! What's happening???" Peri asked as she tried to crawl back into the control room. The Doctor dragged himself to the console. He managed to pull himself up to look at the little screen.
"We've exited the universe! And we're spiralling towards a completely different one! Hold on to something!"
Peri and the Doctor both tried to grab the nearest object and hold it as tight as they could. Peri suddenly noticed her fingers were getting shorter, and that her face is getting longer.
"Doctor! What's happening to me?!" She screamed.
"The univeres we're entering cannot sustain a humanoid life form. Our bodies are changing to match the other life forms there!" The Doctor explained, desperately trying to hold on to the console as his fingers disappeared into his hands.
The Doctor and Peri noticed fur starting to grow on their bodies, The Doctor's was green and Peri light blue. Peri screamed as she looked at her hands, they weren't there anymore. They've turned into hooves.
"Horses?!" The Doctor snarled "what kind of universe are we entering?!"
Twilight Sparkle was sitting in her library, reading a book. She just finished reshelving a few moments ago, and felt like taking a short break.
Suddenly, she heard a loud noise. Books and papers started flying around, like they're being blown away by a gust of wind. Twilight took a terrified step back as a big blue box materialized in the middle of her library. The noise stopped, and Twilight was left standing on her hooves, looking at the blue box in shock.
"Wh-what is that?" she asked herself, still unable to comprehend what just happened.
The blue box was tall, a sign on the top of it said "POLICE BOX" in big white letters. a small light bulb was sitting on top of it's rroof, and in the front of it, directly facing Twilght were two large doors. The Alicorn did not know what to do, should she get closer? It could be dangerous, but on the other hoof, the curiosity was killing her. Before she could make a decision, one of the doors opened. Twilight held her breath, not knowing what to expect. A green earth pony with a long, curly, blonde mane and wearing a big colorful coat came out of the blue box, rubbing his head with his hoof.
"Oh, great!" the stallion mumbled to himself, "If only she'd let me stir the ship without bothering me..." he raised his voice and looked back into the box. He turned around and saw Twilight staring at him.
"You're... You're a winged unicorn..." he said quietly, like he'd never seen an alicorn in his life, "A puple winged unicorn... I can hardly belive it.."
"H-hello," Twilight said hesitantly, "I'm Twilight Sparkle. And you are?"
The pony shook his head,
"Of course, how rude of me." He said before stretching his hoof towards Twilight, "I'm The Doctor. It's... Very nice to meet you, Twilight was it? I'm sorry if I'm interrupting anything, but my ship seems to have crashed here. Would you mind telling me where I am?"
"Ship? What ship?" Twilight seemed confused, she pointed at the blue box, "Are you telling me that this thing is a ship?!"
"That thing?" The stallion repeated, "That thing, as you say, is my TARDIS! I have had her with me for hundreds of years, with her I have saved billions of lives on millions of worlds, and I would kindly appreciate it if you'd stop referring to her as 'that thing'" He seemed pretty upset at Twilight's remark.
"I'm sorry." Twilight said and lowered her hoof, "It's just that I've never seen anything like it before..." she looked up, amazed at the sight of the box.
"Oh. Well, I do get that a lot..." the green pony said.
"Doctor? Doctor where are you?" Twilight heared a voice call from inside the box,
"It's alright, Peri. You can come out." A light blue earth pony with a short brown mane came out of the box. She paused when she saw Twilight.
"Oh, don't be such a baby, Peri, it's okay. This is Twilight, she's one of the locals. Tell me, Twilight, where exactly are we?"
"Do you mean what building, street, town...?" Twillight asked.
"Well, I was thinking more like, what planet." The stallion said.
"Are you trying to tell me you're from another planet?" Twilight asked,
"Actually, we're from an entirely different universe." he admited.
Twilight didn't know what to say. She's heard about the possibility of other universes existing outside their own, but she never thought she would ever be having a conversation with creates that came directly from one.
"Is everything alright?" the green pony asked after a few moments of silence.
"Y-Yes of c-course!" Twilight stuttered, "I just... I wasn't expecting a visit from ponies from a different universe..."
"Well, I wasn't expecting to crash land in another universe either, but I'm still able to speak properly."
"Sorry. What did you say your name was, again?" Twilight asked.
The stallion sighed, "I am The Doctor. I am a Time Lord from the planet Galifrey, this young woman is Perpugilliam Brown. She's a human from the planet Earth."
"You can call me Peri." the mare said, still a bit confused.
"A human?" Twilight looked at Peri, "But I thought humans didn't exist... They're just an old story..."
"Well, apperantly they don;t exist. Not in this universe, anyway. That is why we both look like this." The Doctor said, "We came here by accident. We'll be leaving shortly, but first, where are we?" he asked for the third time.
"Oh, right. This place is called Equestria. We are standing inside the library in Ponyvile."
"Ponyvile...?" The Doctor asked, "Is that really the name you people chose for this place?" He started walking around, examining what he saw as interesting.
"Well, I don't know what 'people' are, but yes, that is the name of this town."
"And who exactly are you?" The Doctor asked while examining a small snow globe he found on the floor,
"I'm princess Twilight Sparkle, but please, call me Twilight."
"A princess?" The Doctor said, "So you're the ruler of this place, than?"
"Oh, no. Well, sort of... It's kind of complicated..." Twilight said.
"Good." The Doctor said, "I love complicated. Now, I'd really like to take a look at this town, you wouldn't mind showing us around, would you?"
"But doctor, we should really get back to our own univerese..." Peri said.
"Oh, come on Peri! Where's your sense of advanture?"
"It's just that, every time you want to stay somewhere to look around you always get us into trouble." Peri said.
"Trouble? Me? Huh! Please, Peri. Now come on, let's go see what this place has to offer."
