How It All Started and the Present (Midnight's POV)
How It All Started and the Present
Ever since Twilight got those wings, unicorns have found more advanced magic and were able to create wings on themselves, and made their own empires, overruling Luna and Celestia, along with Cadence and Twilight.
It all happened so fast, when the empires attacked Ponyville and killed the Elements and some ponies. It was so gruesome, even for me.
The spears, screams, blood, arrows. Horrible to hear and see.
I was lucky me and my friends escaped with our lives and a couple scars.
But that was the past. Now, I'm almost given up. But I know me and my friends can save Equestria. I just KNOW it.
The rain blew hard down, and my friends were slowing down, wounds deepened in their pelt, and exhausted, but no where close to relax and rest from the thunderstorm. I carried the most exhausted on my back and scented a strong scent.
I spotted a worn log cabin in the dense forest.
I grabbed some wood in my mouth and told Starlight Shine to flint a rock on the wood in the fireplace worn from age.
I rested my friends on some beds made of worn matresses and moss, and curled on the floor next to Starlight, nuzzling her cheek.
She blushed a bit, and kissed me on the cheek, and my eyes widened, my heart warmed by both the love and fire.
It felt like time slowed, as her lips touched my fur, and her face reddened.
I smiled happily and my face reddened as my eyelids drooped, my body warm and nestled under Starlight's wing.
We have been in a small marefriend relationship for a little while now, and it was secret as can be. It didn't distract us from our mission anyway, so I didn't see any harm in it. Nor did she, it seemed. But her love comforted me. Nice and warm relationship.
I awoke from a terrible nightmare, just as the fire was spreading from the fire place, smoke everywhere. I forgotten to put it out, and it was all my fault. MY mistake.
I coughed and squinted to try and see. I managed to awake Smart Cookie, and she stood up immediatley, and her horn glowed a cinnamon brown as she managed to teleport me and my six friends outside.
Only a few received slight burns, but all were awakened after teleporation.
Most were panicked, but The Trolling Mare of course was still beaming with a smile and jumping everywhere.
The smoke was still coming up, and the whole house was on fire now.
"The smoke could sent out signals and kill us all, I reckon we better start heading towards-..." Minty Breeze whispered, then her ears fell back, and she lowered her white cowboy hat.
"Oh shit we're doomed." she choked as ponies in dark fur colors and armor surrounded us, equipped with weapons of all sizes.
We were cornered, and now we had no where to go.
Smart Cookie was still trying to teleport us, but she was too exuasted and stunned in pain and fear.
"Halt! Who are you ponies and what are you doing on Darkness Territory?" A hoarse stallion voice demanded as he stepped forward, his light green eyes gleaming with fury.
I thought I reconized that voice...I heard it before, and I knew it.
"Dark Breeze?" I choked out, my body trembling.
The stallion widened his eyes, and began to take of his silver armor, revealing his slick pale blue and green mane.
"Midnight?" he responded, his gaze on me and my scars.
I nodded, as guards store at each other in confusion. "Why did you leave the werepony tribe?" I asked.
"War has come." he replied, motioning a hoof around. "And the war has just begun between the empires. I'm sorry Midnight, but since war has come, I can't trust anypony. I'm sorry. So sorry." He cried as tears streamed down his face.
"You can't!" I screamed back, tears falling from my face.
His and his allies' response was firing arrows at us. One hit me in the shoulder, blood gushing out. pain blazed me, and I saw red dots in my vision. I faded out in a world of black, not knowing what state my friends were in.

I remember when my cousin Twilight got those wings....who knew that unicorns learned advanced magic after that and alicorns took over with empires and me and my 5 friends were forced to take shelter in a small tree house? I certaintly didn't...And now...here's our journey from the begining...and Midnight's mistake...
The rain blew hard down, and I and my friends were slowing down, wounds deepened in their pelt, and exhausted, but no where close to relax and rest from the thunderstorm. Midnight carried the most exhausted on her back and scented a strong scent.

The stallion widened his eyes, and began to take of his silver armor, revealing his slick pale blue and green mane.
"Midnight?" he responded, his gaze on her and our scars.
She nodded, as guards store at each other in confusion. "Why did you leave the tribe?" She uttered meekly.
"War has come." he replied, motioning a hoof around. "And the war has just begun between the empires. I'm sorry Midnight, but since war has come, I can't trust anypony. I'm sorry. So sorry." He cried as tears streamed down his face.
"You can't!" My blue friend screamed back, tears falling from her face.
His allies' response was firing arrows at us. One hit me in the side, blood gushing out. Pain blazed me, and I saw black dots in my vision. I faded out in a world of black, not knowing what state my other friends were in.

Midnight nodded, as guards store at each other in confusion. "Why did you leave the werepony tribe?" she asked.

His and his allies' response was firing arrows at us. One hit me in the wing, blood gushing out. Pain blazed me, and I saw blood drip down my side.
I fainted in a world of black, not knowing what state my friends were in.

I awakened after teleporation, hyper and wide awake.
Most of my friends were panicked, but I of course was still beaming with a smile and jumping everywhere.
The smoke was still coming up, and the whole house was on fire now.

"You aren't fun!" I whined as they dragged me and my friends to their castle.

Now there's no more fancy food. We live in poverty!
The rain blew hard down, and my friends were slowing down, wounds deepened in their pelt, and exhausted, but no where close to relax and rest from the thunderstorm. My beautiful grey fur was stained with blood! How horrible it was and how exuasted I was! I fainted not over-dramatically on Midnight's back.
I awoke after being teleported, and straightened my mane and applied some extra eye shadow.
Most were panicked, but The Trolling Mare of course was still beaming with a smile and jumping everywhere. I swear she acts like a foal sometimes!

That jerk's and his allies' response was firing arrows at us. One grazed my horn, blood slowly flooding out.
Pain blazed through me, and I saw red dots in my vision.
I glared at all of them, and one called me a Drama Queen. I kicked that one in her hoof, and then she knocked me out.

My eyes came into focus as I slowly lifted my eyelids. My whole body felt so sore and achy. I adjusted myself and stood up slowly off the stone ground, worn and cracked from age. I yawned and saw bars made of pure iron blocking my front path.
I wrapped my hooves around two spaces in the bars and looked outside at the other cells.
I spotted Starlight Shine and was relieved when The Trolling Mare's voice was heard loudly as she was bouncing off the walls in such a small space. I still needed to know if Minty, Shimmer, and Cookie were alright. "Starlight...do you see Shimm-?" a harsh mare voice interupted me as she rapped the bars with a dagger.
"Don't get any ideas! Eternal Darkness will see you shortly in a meeting for what we shall do with you." she snarled, her blue eyes burning into mine, behind her armor. I growled back at her, revealing a threatning gaze of yellow eyes and fangs.
She gave me a slight confused look and continued down the rows.
"Stop whining!" I heard her scream a few moments later.
"I can't! I gotta go pee!" TM's voice echoed through the cells.
"Go in that bowl!" she shouted.
"What?! I can't go in there....Ponies can see me pee...." I heard TM whisper awkwardly.
"I don't care, foal, do it if you have to so bad!"
"You're no fun."
"I don't care what you useless ponies think of me..." she snarled.
"We're not useless!" I insisted.
"I didn't hear anything....how strange how empty it sounds..." she mimicked, trotting away.
My anger boiled through the roof.
"Hey, you! Shut the buck up you worthless piece of shit! You can't talk to my friends like that! Unless you wanna try going through me!" I yelled, steam abrupting from my nostrils.
The mare flipped around, and stormed towards my cell. She jabbed my stomach, very deeply.
Blood trickled from the dagger, and she smeared some on my face. My friends saw it all, and with faces of horror.
Tears slowly came forming in my eyes, dripping on the ground with dabs of blood. The pain blazed my vision.

"Only you and your friends can save Equestria. I have faith in you, Midnight. I believe in you. NEVER give up. I love you Midnight. Be safe, and me and your father will always be in your dreams to guide you."
"Such a soft, sweetened voice. It belonged to my mother, Golden Sky.
This was the destiny she spoke of- I had to save Equestria from total demolishment before the big war between the empires occurs. But I'm running low on time and hope.
But if my mother and father, Golden Sky and Gleaming Night believe in me, why shouldn't I?
This is my tale of my adventure and past to save Equestria from the terrible actions caused years ago.
And here we stand, still trying to find hope."

Dark and his allies' response was firing arrows at us. One hit me in my hat, and I bucked some guards away, but they hoof cuffed me, and dragged my friends fainted bodies away with me. Pain blazed me, and I saw red dots in my vision. I was the onky one still concious. "Let me go!" I yelled, squirming. I eventually weakened, and blacked out.
