"Lucas, Get off your phone!" Mr.Hayes, a high school geometry teacher, yelled at his student who was obviously not paying attention to his lesson in the quadratic formula.
Lucas Flores, a 17 year old Mexican-American male sporting a mohawk and full trimmed beard, 5'11 tall, both ears pierced with size 12 tapers, average size but with a little more muscle and fat. He was a bit of a street person, just not one of those stereotypical hood rats. He had some common sense, and "some" is used lightly. Being from the street he always knew there was the possibility of getting robbed so he always carried his knife with him in his backpack, this was no pocket knife either it had a 7.5 inch blade hunting resembling a bowie knife, it was in it's sheath so he didn't have to worry about it cutting up his bag. He also doesn't give a shit about life. He is what he likes to call insane, deranged, psychotic, sadistic, whatever fits the bill. Suicidal, homicidal, and open to cannibalism. Yep. One crazy ass beaner. Lucas takes two types of medication to keep him in check: Prozac for his depression and Lamictal for his violent tendencies. On this particular day, however, he had ran out of Lamictal. Anything could happen.
"Say please and I might just acknowledge you," Lucas retorted not even looking up from his device to see the teacher, one red and black earphone bud in his ear while the other hung down. He never liked this teacher in particular because he would grade his papers as "incomplete" even if one problem was left blank, so he was basically getting screwed out of a grade, after the first week of that class he just didn't give a fuck and did absolutely nothing in there. The sad part is that Mr.Hayes was letting him fail.
The class fell silent hearing the commotion, some students pulled their phones out and started recording the two, the only noise that could be heard was the pitter patter of rain that was outside. Mr.Hayes now frustrated walked towards Lucas' desk and snatched the phone and earphones from the boy.
"You can get these after detention," Mr.Hayes said walking towards his desk.
"Yep," Lucas sighed to himself. Without word he got up and walked towards the math teacher who made the mistake of turning his back on such an individual. Lucas silently walked behind his teacher and immediately kicked Mr.Hayes in the back of his left kneecap causing him to fall backwards, yelling due to the sudden pain in his leg. During the fall Lucas grabbed the teacher around the neck with his right hand and pulled him down making a faster connection for his left knee to meet the teacher's back. The teacher fell to the floor moaning in pain but it wasn't over, Lucas knelt over him grabbing the collar of his shirt with his left hand and started punching him with his right. A loud smack was made each time his fist made contact to the face of the teacher, a loud sickening crack was made when Lucas connected a punch to Mr.Hayes' nose. Blood starting to drip from the teacher's mouth and nose, he was too much in pain to fight back. The beating went on for several seconds, everyone was too shocked to do anything but watch. Eventually Marcus, a student who was larger than Lucas, broke out of his state of awe and rushed towards the rampaging student. Marcus threw his arms around Lucas' sides and started pulling him away from the beaten, bloody teacher, that didn't stop Lucas from attacking as he started to kick the downed man until he was out of reach. The other students started to come from there state of awe as well, one girl had started to call the police and a boy ran out the room towards the neighboring classroom to warn a teacher. Marcus tossed Lucas away from Mr.Hayes as far as he could. Marcus and other students rushed towards the downed teacher. Lucas picked himself up and started walking towards the direction of the group, he was half way there when Marcus noticed him and got up into a fighting stance.
"Chill out, I'm just getting my shit back," Lucas said as he stopped two feet away from the larger student, picking up his items that were dropped.
"You didn't have to go that far," Marcus said, still in his fighting stance.
"Anything can happen when I don't have my mood stabilizers, I just so happen to run out of meds today. Besides, you should know better than to fuck with a crazy pendejo like me. Another thing too, I didn't go far enough," replied Lucas, licking the blood from his knuckles. Marcus was disgusted by the act and turned back to tend to the teacher. Lucas let out a light chuckle and walked out the room putting his backpack on. A neighboring teacher walked out of his classroom with the boy who called him and walked towards Lucas, ready to talk. "Yeah, yeah 'to the office' I know, do you wish to escort me?" Lucas interrupted.
"Just go." The teacher told him.
*10 minutes later outside the front office*
Lucas was in handcuffs, being escorted to a police cruiser by a female officer. The rain started to pour harder, thunder clapping in the distance.
"So... why'd you do it?" The policewomen asked.
"Because I hate Mondays," Lucas sarcastically said. The knife started to shift around in his backpack, poking him in the back. 'Fuck' , he thought, forgot about that... Shit, I can't let her find this. ' A lightning bolt struck about a mile away in the distance. 'Great, just fucking great, metal attracts electricity and I'm in fuckin' cuffs. ' An idea formed in his head, 'Maybe if I stall long enough, a lightning bolt will strike close enough to surprise her, then I'll run. Maybe through the traffic and take the ally way that is connected. Although from there... just run like hell! '. More lightning struck a mile in the distance. "Jesus those are getting close..." Lucas mumbled loud enough for the officer to hear.
"We're almost at the car so don't worry," commented the officer. The distance between the cruiser and the two was shortening by the moment, moments later Lucas stopped just about a foot away from the car. The policewoman stopped as well, "Keep going or I'll have to drag you in."
"What if I give you a kiss, will you let me free?" Lucas said jokingly... well slightly, she was quite attractive.
"Nice try, but no" she replied.
"How 'bout dinner? A movie? I did all this just to see you, baby." he lied.
"Flattery gets you nowhere. Besides, I don't date convicts." she chuckled.
Lucas gave a fake sad look and dropped his head, "Okay," he said defeated.
"You're funny I'll give you that." The policewoman said. "Maybe if you were a bit older, and not a law breaker you might of had a-"
CRACK
A bolt of lightning struck unbelievably close, about three feet away from the pair. The policewoman covered her ears because of the loud strike. All Lucas could do was flinch since his hands were cuffed, his ears were ringing in pain, however he saw this as the opportunity he's been waiting for and dashed as fast as he could away from the policewoman. He ran through the main gates that connected the parking lot to the road. Lucas didn't think, he just ran. He ran through the road not even stopping for cars, vehicles started to honk and and tires began to screech from the brakes that were suddenly stepped step on. The wet road was slippery, a car or two nearly hit Lucas. He made it to the sidewalk across the street and ran left towards an opening which was the alley way, trying to catch himself from falling because of the wet concrete. He heard the whining sirens of the police cruiser, its cry came closer and closer to him. The alleyway had a dirt road covered in tire tracks and litter was scattered around. The cruiser came to a stop at the entrance of the ally way, the policewoman stepped out holding something like a shotgun. It was a bean bag gun, a special type of gun to drop a fleeing suspect dead in their tracks without seriously injuring them . She steadied her aim and got Lucas in the iron sights, she was about to pull the trigger until-
CRACK
A bolt of lightning had struck Lucas, but this one unnatural. The bolt of lightning was a multicolored hue like a rainbow is and from the top of the rainbow colored bolt was something circular and purple, it looked like the bolt was coming out of a portal. As soon as it happened, it ended like a regular lightning bolt would. The policewoman halted to a complete stop... Lucas was gone! She went to look at the black charred spot where the escaping teenager once was, he had vanished!
"What... the hell?"
"SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!!" Lucas screamed. One second he was running from a cop, the next he's falling from God knows how high. He closed his eyes just waiting for it to happen, he wanted to die anyways... just not this painfully. Moments go by and he feels a warmth surround him, 'Please tell me I'm not in hell... ', he thought. He hesitantly opened his eyes to see him still in the air, still falling but very slowly. A purple aura was surrounding his body, 'What the fuck is this? '.
"Don't worry! I got you!" a female's voice called out.
He looked down to see a purple unicorn with wings flying towards him. He was shocked by all these weird surprises, he closed his eyes and fainted.
*Earlier in Equestria*
"Are you sure this is going to work?" Spike asked Twilight.
"No, but it doesn't hurt to try. Besides, I want to know what this spell and all the others can do," Twilight replied reading the instructions to an unknown spell in an ancient spell book. She and her assistant Spike were in the Princess' old castle where the Tree of Harmony was looking for clues to find the keys of the mysterious box that appeared when the Tree of Harmony was restored. Well that's what she was supposed to do until she found an ancient spell book containing magic she's never heard of before.
"Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, and o-kay, I think I got this!" Twilight exclaimed closing the book and setting it down with her magic. She closed her eyes and concentrated magic to her horn. A purple spotlight shined down from the clouds and shone over Twilight. Her eyes shot open, all white with a glow surrounding them. A rainbow colored lightening bolt shot out of her horn and pierced the sky where the purple light was shining down from. As soon as the bolt of magic shot out it had retracted itself back into her horn, during which her eyes closed and open again to return to their natural state. She looked at the sky and all there was is a purple circular like thing in the sky, it had swirls that went around until it ended.in the center. Twilight looked at it more closely, "What is tha-"
"SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!" an unknown being said as it fell through the now disappearing circle in the sky.
"Oh my Celestia, we have to do something!" Twilight exclaimed, she spread her wings and flew towards this new thing falling at an alarming rate. Her horn was beginning to be enveloped by her magic and she shot a beam of magic at this creature. The beam hit it's target and automatically surrounded the being in a purple aura. "Don't worry! I got you!" Twilight called out to this new being. Once in her magical grasp Twilight descended to the ground with the creature enveloped in magic. Once she landed she immediately checked checked on the creature to find it out cold.
"What is that thing!?" Spike exclaimed.
"I don't know, but we have to help it!" Twilight said grabbing Spike with a magical hold and beginning to fly off again with the baby dragon and the new creature.
"Help it? It could be dangerous for all we know!" Spike replied but Twilight didn't listen.
They don't know how right he was...
Exiting the out outskirts of the Everfree Forest where the Princess' ancient cast was with Spike and the unconscious being in her magic, Twilight sparkle was flying towards Ponyville. To be more exact she was heading towards Fluttershy's cottage which, thankfully, was close to the Everfree. She would've taken this... thing to the Ponyville Hospital but she doesn't know how the town would react to such a strange creature, probably not well since they get the habit of being afraid of something that is different like they were with Zecora. Fluttershy was a better choice anyway since she is well with animals, and as far as Twilight is concerned this thing is an animal. Soon Twilight reached her friend's cottage.
Twilight gently placed the on ground and started knocking on the door, "Fluttershy, I think you need to take a look at this!"
The pegasus opened the door, "Take a look at wha-", she paused, "what is that thing?" she said looking at the mysterious creature
"I don't have the slightest clue. I was practicing a spell I hadn't heard of before, which I'm assuming is some sort of summoning spell considering the fact that this thing showed up when I had finished. When it arrived it was falling from the sky, it was awake then, but when I went to go save the creature it was knocked out like a light." Twilight explained.
"O-oh my," commented Fluttershy, "it must of fainted due to stress, poor thing. Bring it in, all it needs is a little rest then it should be fine." Fluttershy walked back inside leaving the door wide open.
"Come on Spike, help me bring it in," said Twilight levitating the upper half with her magic.
"Do I have to?" Spike complained, Twilight gave him a irritated look in return, "Uh, I mean sure." He went to the lower half and picked up what he assumed were the feet and carried him inside the cottage.
"Somebody help me!!! Please!!!" a bruised man tied to a chair in a dark room was calling out, the only source of light was a small flickering light bulb that hung over him. A tall dark figure was slowly coming out of the shadows revealing himself to the man. The figure was non other than Lucas with a blank expression on his face. "Oh thank God. Please, man, get me outta of here."
Lucas put on a comforting smile, "Don't worry I'm going to help you out."
"Thank you." the man said on the verge of tears, "I'll repay back somehow."
"That won't be necessary." Lucas chuckled.
"Why's that?" the man questioned.
Lucas walked up close to the man and whispered in his ear, "I can't receive gifts from a dead man now, can I?"
The man's eyes widened with fear, "What!? No no no no no no, please don't do this to me man!" he pleaded. Lucas didn't respond while he walked back into the shadows humming a tune to himself. "Where're you going!?! Stop! PLEASE!" Lucas came back from the darkness pushing a cart full of all sorts of tools and knives, "What do you want!? I'll give you anything you want!"
"Jesus, your'e a noisy one. I'm gonna have to fix that." Lucas said grabbing a stapler from the cart.
The man was starting to panic, "No! Please don-" SMACK Lucas gave the man a right hook in the temple causing him to get dizzy.
The maniac got walked behind the tied man and cupped his right hand under the victim's lower jaw and pulled up so his mouth would stay closed. Lucas held the stapler a foot away from the mouth of the man and slammed repeatedly across his lips. All that was heard was *click * *click * *click * and a pained muffled scream as Lucas stapled the man's mouth shut.
Out of nowhere a child's voice was heard, "Do I Have to?"
Everything started to fade away, even the the tortured man, as Lucas began to wake up back to reality. 'During such a wonderful dream too... ' Lucas thought.
His eyes shot open seeing he's being carried by a purple reptile, he felt that same warmness surrounding his shoulders to which he assumed was the magic of the purple unicorn he saw earlier. "Do you mind putting me down?" Lucas said aloud.
Twilight and Spike were close to Fluttershy's couch to lay the strange being down so it could rest.
"Do you mind putting me down?" the creature suddenly said. Twilight shrieked and jumped to the surprise, hitting her head on the ceiling while spike himself fainted. Fluttershy hid behind the end of the couch that was intended to hold thing.
THUD
The now awake creature fell on the floor. Moments go by until it finally spoke up again, "Oh no that's cool, no one check up on me after BEING DROPPED ON THE FUCKING GROUND!!!"
Twilight began to rub her head from the collision of the ceiling, "Ouch, could you not use such foul language?"
"Oh I'm sorry, I'm just a little absolutely livid that I was awoken from a very nice dream only to be dropped on the ground." Answered the creature.
"I'm sorry about that, but you just caught us off guard is all." Twilight apologized, "Anyway's what are you?"
The being struggled to sit up because of the shackles around his hands which kept it from using it's arms properly. He awkwardly turned around to face Twilight. "My name is Lucas, Lucas Flores, and I'm human. Now, where am I?"
"Equestria," answered Twilight, "Ponyville, to be more exact."
"What are you? I know there's a special name for a pegasus with a unicorn horn, I just don't know what it is." Lucas asked.
"I am an alicorn, my name is Twilight Sparkle but you can call me Twilight."
"And the terrible hider?" Lucas motioned his head at the shaking pegasus behind the couch.
"That is Fluttershy she is, well, shy." twilight chuckled.
"And Barney Jr over here?" Lucas motioned towards the fainted baby dragon.
"Oh that's Spike, he's my assistant." Twilight answered.
"Alright, now that we're all best buddies 'n' such do you think you can use you're magic to get these off me?" Lucas turned around to show Twilight his handcuffs.
"I can try," the purple mare said. She bent her head and touched her the cuffs with her horn. An audible click was heard, not even a second later the handcuffs fell to the floor.
Lucas threw both his hands in the air, both middle fingers raised, pointing skyward, "Take THAT society!"
Twilight noticed that there were bruises were the handcuffs had been, "Didn't those hurt?"
Lucas rubbed his wrists, "Nah, those were nothing. THIS was painful," Lucas said as he raised his shirt to show an image on his chest of another human with but with a mask that covered half his face.
"You get cutie marks too!? That's amazing!" Twilight said showing her cutie mark to him, "But ours don't hurt." she giggled.
"Cutie mar-? No, this is a tattoo." Lucas explained, lowering his shirt. "I just thought that was a tramp stamp."
"What is that?" the purple mare questioned.
"I'll tell you some other time." Lucas said.
"We have a lot to learn about each other, but that could wait." she said walking towards Fluttershy who was still hiding. "You can come on out Fluttershy, he's not that bad once you get to know him."
"Oh um, if you s-say so." the butter colored mare said to her friend. She got up from behind the couch to see nobody there, "Umm, where is he?"
"What!?" Twilight exclaimed, she turned around to see he wasn't there but the door, however, was open...
'That lightening bolt must of put me in some sort of fucked up coma, there is no way this is real. ' Lucas thought as he walked out of the cottage. He'd rather been arrested than to be stuck in a land imagined up by a little girl.
"Hey, where are you going?" Twilight called out from the doorway.
"Tell me something," said Lucas, "is this all real? Am I in a coma?"
"I don't know how to say this, but yes... look, I know it must be difficult to soak it all in but-' Twilight cut herself off as Lucas mad a mad dash into the forest, "Please come back!"
Fluttershy came exited her cottage, "Why'd he run off?"
"Finding yourself in a new place is difficult by itself, he's lost not just in a new but in a new reality. He just needs to come to realization on that's how it is." Twilight explained, still looking at the direction where the human left. "I know he needs time to accept this but we can't just let him go into the Everfree by himself, we need to gather the girls and form a search party."
Fluttershy nodded in agreement then the two took off to Ponyville.
"FUCK! THIS! SHIT!" Lucas screamed as he was a punching a tree to release the ongoing pool of anger flowing through his being. His knuckles started to bleed from ragged edges of bark that scraped against his hand. Lucas pulled his backpack off and searched for his blade. Once he got a hold of the knife he unsheathed it and dragged it across his forearm trying to wake himself up from the believed coma he was in. He cringed at the pain, blood starting to drip down his arm and trickle down his fingers onto the forest floor. All sorts of thoughts ran through his mind, he began to pant heavily, he curled his hand into a fist. Something snapped inside him, If those goddamned ponies had anything to do with this, * I'LL FUCKING KILL THEM ALL!!!***'. Never before has he had a blood lust this intense, even the sight of his own life force sliding down his arm is enough to get him riled up. Lucas cleaned the blood off the knife in a near by stream and put it back in his bag. He walked back from where he came, heading back to the cottage, not even bothering to tend to his self-inflicted wound.
"Alright girls, we are on a search for our large bipedal friend. Any questions?" Twilight sparkle announced to the rest of the mane six.
Pinkie Pie, in a detective's outfit, raised a hoof, "What does he look like?" she said looking at Twilight through a magnifying glass.
"Well he walks on two legs like a minotaur, he's a light brown color, his mane is small and thin, has a beard, wears clothes, and has some sort of saddlebag." Twilight explained.
"Ooh, maybe I can try some new projects with him if likes clothing, I can tell we'll get along swimmingly already!" Rarity exclaimed.
"Alright, you girls ready?" Twilight asked and got a collective "Yeah!" in return,"Then let's do this!" Twilight and the others were about to charge into the forest, until-
"Found him!" Pinkie announced, bouncing around Lucas.
The ponies surrounded Lucas and stared at him in awe except Twilight and Fluttershy, having seen him already. Apple Jack noticed his arm, "My goodness partner, are ya'll alright?"
"Oh man, what happened?" said Rainbow Dash.
"It's nothing, I just fell." he lied emotionless.
"Oh my, you should um let me fix you up, if its okay with you." Fluttershy offered.
"Sure." Lucas replied as he continued back to the cottage, stepping over the still fainted Spike, his face was void of emotion but something about his eyes put everypony on edge.
"He seems... a little different. I can't imagine how upset he his." Twilight commented. "I hope he cheers up soon."
Pinkie gasped, "Maybe I can throw him a 'Welcome to Ponyville Party'! That'll turn his frown upside down for sure!"
"Yeah! Your parties are the best, there's no way he'll not get excited once he's been to a Pinkie Party!" Rainbow agreed.
"Maybe later but for now we need to heal him." Twilight added and everypony nodded in agreement.
"What're ya'll waitin for then?" Lucas called from inside the cottage.
*Later*
"Now this is gonna sting just a bit," Fluttershy was dripping some hydrogen peroxide on Lucas' open wound.
"I can handle it," he told the mare. The liquid started to sizzle on the gash, cleaning it so it won't get infected.
"Ya'll must be pretty tough partner? Don't ya feel any pain whatsoever?" Apple Jack commented.
"I'm a masochist..." Lucas said. Twilight and Rarity, blushing, widened their eyes.
Rainbow noticed the magic users' reaction, "What's wrong? What does that mean?"
Twilight and Rarity looked at each other then back at Rainbow, "We'll, uh, tell you later." said Twilight.
"Oh my, this could be a problem," Fluttershy spoke up, "I Don't have any bandage wraps." Lucas immediately took his black shirt off, revealing a white tank top underneath, and once his shirt was off he reached in his bag and pulled his knife out. He was beginning to cut the shirt into one large strip of fabric, Rarity gasped watching the destruction against clothing. Lucas grabbed the bottle of hydrogen peroxide and started to pour some across the makeshift bandage wrap. After he felt enough was on he began to tightly wrap the fabric around his arm to slow down the bleeding.
"This is not my first time in a situation like this before," Lucas explained, "now how about some tea?" he said, tone changing from empty to chipper.
"Yes we could make some tea but are you sure you're alright darling? You don't need any medical attention?" Rarity questioned.
"Bah, this is just a small scrape." he waved it off, 'Jesus table flipping Christ, its like they've never seen an injury before!' , "So, how bout that tea?"
"Are you sure Ponyville will be ready for you? The townsponies aren't too open with anything new or strange, not that you're strange or anything." Twilight asked Lucas sipping her honey bush tea.
"Well I have to make myself known eventually." Lucas said.
"I'm sure they're gonna love ya! If I thnk you're awesome, then the town is bound to thinks so too!" Rainbow Dash added.
"Darn tootin' they will! Yer a pretty interestin' feller for sure." the cowpony agrred.
Lucas chugged the rest of his tea and stood up, "Welp, there's our answer. So when are we doin' this meet 'n' greet, I want to get this over with already." Lucas never really like crowds, he wasn't much of a people person, he'd often think of himself as a hermit sometimes.
"Well if you feel that you're ready for this, but first I'll need to notify Princess Celestia." said Twilight. Spike was finally beginning to wake from his black out, "Oh, Spike! Just in time! I need to send a letter." Spike, in turn, groaned. "Now Lucas there's going to be a possibly big chance that you're going to meet Princess Celestia, so please be on your best behavior."
"No promises," he replied. 'Like hell I will!' he said in his mind, "just pray she doesn't upset me in any way, shape, or form. I don't want to do something everyone else is going to regret."
"Oh I wouldn't worry about it," said Fluttershy, "she is the nicest pony in Equestria."
"Yeah, she's super duper kind!" Pinkie agreed.
"Ok, then lets do this thing." said the determined teen. 'May God help you all...' he thought sadistically.
