I say crawling out of bed. My little blue bird  flies to my back and makes a friendly chirp.'' we're going to town today!'' I announce and instantly get a happy replay. i struggle to put on my hoof made wings.Sialia seems to shake her head in disapproval.'' come on girl,it will be plenty fast this way,'' I say.'' I'll buy you some seeds if you behave OK?''. the little bird helps me put on my wings. not everyone has detachable wings,Usualy the pegasi were the only ones who could soar through the sky but I had recently made a break through and was able to make the very first pair of homemade wings! '' thank you Sialia!'' I say ajusting the straps with my mouth.it was a pity I couldn't invent a horn for myself aswell but that just wouldn't be right anymore,just as my dear grandmother would say.'the difference between stupidity and geniuses is that geniuses has its limits.'' .'' lets go!'' I say heading for the door,suddenly I realize that my wings were too big for the door and sigh.'' looks like we'll have to take them off.'' I say,Sialia face palms with her wing.    I look at my watch.'' next time we're waking up before sunrise.'' I say waching the sundial slowly creak to noon. Whe walk through the busy streets. '' here comes the wacky weirdo,watch out!'' I hear a pony whisper to her friend and they both start giggling. i ignored them,over the years I had learned to ignore those who made fun of me. '' they're just jealous of you're super awesome talent!'' my good friend,Derpy would say. i smiled realizing she might well be right, my cutiemark which displayed on my white coat showed a yellow lightbolb and a symbol which looked like a small fountain displayed the flow of creativity,well that's what my friend Twilight said anyway and she was always right.Being creative acualy came with a few talents such as fashion wich I discovered while visiting rarity in her boutique, art ,and ofcourse my favorite,inventing or tinkering as some would say. i walk through town picking up food to stock for the month,sense I didn't go out of my house very often it was vital that I had enough to eat. '' hello Silvia!'' I hear a happy voice say ,I tern to see bonbon,a friendly mare aswell as neighbor that lives right across from the street. '' hi bonbon,nice to see you!'' I say smiling. '' jeez Silvia its been weeks sense I last saw you! I thought you might be sick.'' she says looking a little concerned. '' no im alright but thanks for thinking about me.'' I say paying for my carrots. '' you really should go out more Silvia.'' Bonbon says. '' why don't you come over to my picnic this afternoon? Lyra will be there and so will Fluttershy and Octavia." I recall this one time Fluttershy made a tea party which had turned to total chaos! Bonbon sees the look of worry on my face. '' don't worry ill make sure Fluttershy doesn't bring any of her animals along.'' she says winking. i laugh,'' OK ill be there.'' I say.she waves goodbye as she heads for another stand, I finish shopping then head towards the library.i arrive at the door and knock, ''come in!'' I hear. i struggle to take off my wings then walk inside to see Twilight busily organizing her books. '' sorry about the mess,i've had such a busy weak!'' she says running here and there. '' I imagine with saving all of Equestria and such,'' I say. '' oh,I don't now.'' she says modestly while levitating some books over to there proper shelf aswell as polishing the room. '' how may I help you today?'' she asks finally  turning to me. '' I want to learn more on the topic of flying,I still can't seem to grasp it well enough.'' I say '' I might have a book about that,'' Twilight says thinking hard.'' ow yes,I remember now!'' she exclames levitating a book towards my direction.'' The Guide to Flight.'' Twilight reads. '' but this is for filly pegasi.'' I say looking at the back cover. '' sorry,it's all I have.'' Twilight says '' no,never mind, it's perfect,thank you Twilight!'' I say. '' no problem!.'' she says with a satisfied nod. i walk out the door and deside that the only pony who could really help would be the one and only Rainbow Dash.but how could I reach her? I walk along the streets and notice Rarities boutique not that far away.i deside to pass by,I was infact running verry low on clothes considering how many have perished in my expiraments. i ring the bell. '' come in!'' I hear. i enter the shop to see rarity running around as hurried as Twilight. '' hello darling!'' rarity says.'' I haven't seen you in such a long time! Would you like some tea?'' '' no thank you,I was wondering if I could buy a dress or something.'' I say. '' what's the ocation?'' she asks studding some dress patterns. '' im going to a picnic this afternoon,and im running dangerously low on clothes.'' I say. '' fabulous!'' she says measuring my height with a measurer.'' I don't see why you even bother coming to my quint boutique you clearly have fashionable taste.'' she says with a small sigh. '' oh,Rarity you now you're fashions are to die for! Besides I was never one for too much glammer.'' I say. '' why thank you!'' she says.'' it really is a shame your not destined to become a designer,it would be the perfect career opportunity!'' she says running back and forth,yeah...'' and you're from Canterlot! You must certainly have a few recommendations there.'' rarity says,she had always admired canterlot folk. '' well,i don't really now many ponies there.'' I say. '' well,just the same,you have a real talent aswell as a good back ground,it really is a shame.'' she says frowning.'' well,im afraid your dress won't be ready in one afternoon dear,im not that good! But I do have some spare dresses,'' rarity says looking through a clothing rack. '' that's fine with me.'' I say as she folds the dress and puts it inside a bag. '' here you go dear,and don't forget to recommend carrosel boutique!'' she says giving me the  bags. i walk towards the door .'' oh,and do you happen to now were rainbow dash might be?'' I ask half way through it.rarity stops to think for a moment. '' I believe she might be at Applejacks place at the moment.'' she says. '' thanks'' I say heading out the door. I walk through the streets until I reach Applejacks farm and surely enough Rainbowdash was trashing another one of applejack old farms. '' hey!'' Rainbowdash says looking my way. '' hey there Rainbowdash,Applejack.'' I say. '' howdy partner,have I seen you before?'' Applejack asks rubbing her head. i laugh.'' i'm Silvia,you now,i live across from Bonbon and Lyras house.'' I say.Applejack still looks completely confused. '' sorry partner,doesn't ring a bell.'' '' it's alright,I don't go out much.'' I say smiling,I was used to pony's forgetting me,and my name for that matter. '' what's brings you to apple acres?'' Appejack asks finally giving up. '' acualy,Rainbow dash was going to show me how to fly.'' I say looking at Rainbow dash. '' oh,right.'' Rainbowdash says rubbing her neck.'' um,it kinda slipped my mind.we can practice tomorrow okay?'' '' oh,it's alright.'' I say a little disappointed. '' hey wait just a minute!'' says Applejack as i'm about to leave.'' you can't brake your promise Rainbowdash! We're done here,you can go along now.'' Applejack says. '' but Applejack!'' Rainbowdash hisses. '' no buts! You have an appointment to be to and there's no reason to be braking it. '' Rainbow dash moans.'' okey.okey.'' whe leave the farm and walk to a clearing. '' are you sure about this?'' Rainbowdash asks. '' of course.'' I say standing bravely. '' okay,but don't tell me I didn't warn you!'' she says. '' so were do we start?'' I ask. '' well,the first thing would be wing exercises but seeing that your wings aren't real.'' Rainbowdash says looking at my wings strangely.'' I guess we can start flying...'' . '' um how do those things even work?'' '' they read my brain waves,transmitting the signal from my brain to my wings,alowing me to move them!'' I say exitedly. Rainbowdash looks at me confused.'' okeey then.'' she says flapping her wings I concentrate.'' fly,fly,fly.'' I mermer clossing my eyes.i open one eye to see my wings flapping slightly.'' yes!'' I say proudly. '' um,hate to brake it to you..But,that's not flying.'' Rainbowdash says.'' oh,right.'' I say blushing slightly.i squeeze my eyes shut and hesitate for a slip second when I can't feel the ground on my feet.i open my eyes.'' did I do it!?'' I ask,Rainbowdash is shaking her head,jawdroped.'' yes I did!'' I laugh looking the ground,I slowly land back on the ground.'' OK,I think I'm ready!'' I say,Rainbowdash looks at me blankly.'' um Rainbowdash,are you okay?'' I ask waving my hoof infront of her face.she shakes her head. '' um,er..Yeah sure.'' she says. whe fly for about a minute or two and I've already mastered the basics.'' I've got to say,im pretty impressed.'' Rainbowdash says. '' thanks!'' I say. whe soar through clouds,well I do anyway,Rainbowdash just doges them. for the entire afternoon I feel completely weightless as the wind flows through my main.what if this were my destiny? I half crash to the ground as the idea fades from my mind. '' are you okay?!'' rainbow dash asks. '' yeah,I think I'm alright.'' I say getting up from the ground. '' I think we should call it a day.'' Rainbowdash says. '' okay,see you tomorrow?'' I ask. '' umm...i'm going to be kinda busy tomorrow,how about some other time?'' she asks. '' sure.'' I say.'' thanks Rainbow Dash!'' I say walking back home. '' um yeah! No problem!'' she says. I arrive at home and shut the door behind me.i look around,there was only one light bulb that dangled from the ceiling,my bed was in a back corner for my inventions and machinery took up the rest of the small room.after being out it the fresh air,the sky as far as the eye can see,my whole house looked rather dual.i take a deep sigh '' is this really wat I'm meant to do for the rest of my life?'' I ask sialia,she rubs against my cheak then chirps.i look at my Cutie Mark.'' no.'' I say fermly.i pack food and supplies to last for months and fill my saddle bag entirely of bits. After a few days I realize I have to leave everything else,besides a few small gadgets I attached to my metal boots.desparite to not leave behind years of work I manage to buy a suit case in which I put my notes,wings,and two outfits rarity had helped me make,into it.'' that'll have to do.'' I say frowning,the bigger items I had to abandon.i have a moment of dought.was this really a good idea? I shake my head,there was no going back.i was going to do this no matter what it cost! I take one last look at the house I had spent so many years locked up in,I sigh.what was I doing? This is were I belonged,cooped up in here making things out of scraps of metal but I was tired of it all,I wanted to lead a different life,maybe one like Twilight and her freinds,darring do,or one of the characters I had created before throwing them away into the trash bin... I walk out the door.it was dawn,so no pony was awake yet.i didn't want anyone to question why I was leaving because sincerely,I hardly new ether.i slowly roll my suitcase out the door.i take a deep breath of the fresh air.this was it,there was no going back.as silly of an idea this is,I feel it's right somehow,but hey having ideas is what I do best!
