This place is supposed to be brilliant but the fact is its not . Many ponies think that rainbow falls is just a athletics ground but there's a couple of blocks of residential . This was the first place I stopped before I crossed the equestrian border into the mild west and to be honest , it isn't the ideal place to live . The princess arranged for me to stay in the crystal inn , which is basically a local pub with a few motel class bedrooms on the second floor . Being a local pub you'd think it's like the warm , cosy , winter inns , where everypony knows each other and are all jolly . There would be a beautiful log fire burning brightly but no , it wasn't warm and cosy , if anything it was the opposite . Instead of a jolly bartender there was a pony who looked at everypony like they just killed somepony and instead of happy drinking patrons there where drunk idiots , athletic drunk idiots . And instead of a roaring log fire , well I don't know what it was in the fireplace , but I think it was alive. I had just unpacked and guess what ? I was bored , so I went downstairs to have a drink to find the bar crammed with athletes , drunk and smoking but I thought to myself 'just ignore them , just ignore them ' . I sat down in the furthest corner of the bar and called over the bartender and me being from ponyville I ordered a cider , I wanted to compare the cider to apple family which is arguably the best cider in equestria . I was waiting for my drink when a couple of drunk athletes came up to me , smelling of larger and tobacco , one of them sat down next to me and rested his front left leg around my neck . "Hey look , he's Mah best mate !" The athlete splurged out at his 'mate' although I could still smell his potent breath , the other started laughing crazily at , I think , isn't a very good joke , "get off of me " I said gritting my teeth yet he didn't listen to me and started to laugh for no reason , I managed to wrap my left lower leg around his leg and he started to struggle , I tightened my lock on his leg , causing him to pull his leg muscle . I then punched him in the face , knocking him to the ground then the other one snarled at me , "nopony hurts Mah mate" he spewed out of his mouth , which pretty much came out half alcoholic stinking breath . He staggered towards me attempting to punch me but him being absolutely hammered he missed all attempts , I grabbed him by the neck and banged his face against the table , leaving him sprawled out on the floor with his 'mate' After that ordeal I noticed my cider had arrived and I took a small sip and spat it out instantly ,it tasted like cow shit and then looked at the bottle 'brewed in glascow ' no wonder it tasted like cow shit . After that I took a walk around the residential area and I came across a place near the rainbow waterfalls called the 'rainbow pool spa treatment ' it looked relaxing and I was quite tensed after the ordeal in the bar . I walked into the small reception building to see a beautiful mare at the desk "hello sir welcome to the rainbow pool spa " I smiled and placed a few bits on the desk and headed out to the pools . It seem relaxing and it was , the smooth current relaxed my muscles , that was when a group of ugh athletes , drunk yet again . The pools were supposed to be like a Jacuzzi but the drunks treated them like they were swimming pools , cannonballing and bellyflopping into the water splashing around like foals . After that I got out and walked down the training grounds . As I was walking I came across a large fenced off building with an entrance guarded by two broad stallions wearing what looked like royal guard armour but it was mainly silver but the helmets mane was rainbow coloured and across the sides of the body armour there were rainbow streaks . There was a massive sign reading 'rainbow processing plant' After walking around a bit more I went back to my room in the crystal inn and threw myself onto the bed . Tomorrow I would go and poke around the market place and then I would ride the reserved sky chariot to dodge junction .
