Chapter 1-Crushed
It was raining today, and it matched my mood.
After two blissful months, my girlfriend Peace Harmony, broke up with me. It doesn’t help that I’m a Pegasus in an earth-pony city for school. It also doesn’t help that I mostly got a girlfriend because everyone else was getting into a relationship, but we were happy. One of my friends, a bat-pony named Tarot Fortune, didn’t seem to get the point.
"So you were together for a month?” she said munching on a peach on our way to school. I sighed, as a couple other students nervously walked around my sharp-toothed friend. Tarot wouldn’t hurt a fly if not provoked but she did like to freak the other ponies out.
“Two months, Tar,” I said frowning, “and it was a good two months.”
She laughed and nudged me with her wing, “I know World-Wide buddy, no need to scrunch your face up. There are plenty of birds in the sky.”
I chuckled at her joke, “don’t you mean fish in the sea?”
“You should know that wings and water don’t mix.” Tarot said, fluttering her own bat wings, she was quiet for a moment but then smiled. “Actually, don’t I have a fish in mind, Zone Blitz is single...”
I couldn’t help my blush as I turned to the object of my affection: He was an earth pony, bigger than me, royal purple coat, a mane gelled up to a sort of Mohawk on his head, a football as his cutie mark, and a really nice smile. I’ve seen him before, he was a football player, and I really didn't think he was impressive with a helmet on. Without the helmet, he looked down right hot. Tarot has lunch with him and says that he’s a good pony but he’s two years older than me. He was fooling around with his friends, playfully tossing paper balls at each other. He looked adorable as his cheeks flushed and he laughed.
“Defiantly a coltcuddler…” Tarot said, snapping me out of my stupor with a smirk, her golden eyes flashing. “Let’s get your stallion Wide.”
“What?!”
Tarot snickered, “Well, you got your cutie mark finally, so you can move up in your classes. We can have some of the same classes, and you know Zone is in my classes.” I suddenly felt embarrassed as I looked at the globe on my cerulean flank. I had discovered my talents for maps and geography just in time to apply to the same school for royal guards in training along with Tarot in her second year. It was my dream to travel the world and find new places with my talents but I needed some training first. Ponies with cutie marks got to go to special classes together, and I had watched them from afar long enough.
“Well…”
“Exactly,” Tarot said, interrupting me. “Now let’s go, we have our technology class with Wing nut and Fire wall!”
Just making the bell, me and Tarot walked up to our three other friends: Avalon Seashore, Firewall, and Wing Nut. Tarot immediately started talking with Firewall about our latest project and Avalon was trying to untangle Wing Nut from the wires. I was so happy that I was oblivious to everything that was going on. Avalon saw how dazed I was and had to ask me three times before I answered. “What?”
"World Wide, are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine, just a little happier than normal." I said trying to keep the blush from rising to my face and avoiding Tarot’s smirk.
"Why?" Wing Nut asked still tangled in the wires.
I was so nervous, I tried saying it, but I was too afraid to say it. Tarot was now snickering and nudging me. I decided to say it. "I fell in love with a football player."
"Really, dude?" said Fire Wall.
“Who?” Avalon asked.
“Yeah Wide, who?” Tarot asked with fake innocence.
I blushed even harder, “Zone Blitz.” Firewall stomped his hoof and shoved a bag of green apples to Tarot, who was a bit too happy to see my distress. I felt the need to back pedal. "Yeah, he doesn't even know I exist, but one day he will." I said.
“How about today?” Tarot said, not looking from her screen. I didn’t need her talent for seeing the future to know who was about to walk through the door. When I saw him I got so flustered, I decided to run and hide under the table. Oh man, even the way he walks was hot. I feel like I fell in love all over again. After he was gone, I came back out, and as luck would have it, Avalon, Fire Wall, and Wing Nut were giving me smiles and goofy looks while Tarot gave me an annoyed pout.
“Awe, you’re no fun Wide” she said, although a smile was tugging at her mouth.
"Is he the one you fell for?" Asked Avalon sassily, peeking over the computer to get a glimpse. I was blushing from head to toe, when she said that.
"Y-yeah, so." I stuttered.
"Dude, he is way out of your league." said Fire Wall.
"Yeah, but that's what you said about Wing Nut, and now you two are dating." I proclaimed. To make my point Tarot ‘accidently’ slapped him with her wing. He growled, but the bat-pony only had to flash her fangs to get him to shut up. I gave a smile of thanks.
"Look, let's not have a fight. World Wide, he is way out of your league, but if that is what you want, then that's what we'll support." Avalon said. "Right you guys?"
“Yup! Let’s set you up,” Tarot said absently, checking her computer. When we all looked at Wing Nut and Firewall, they were both wrapped up in wires.
"Really guys, Really?" I said.
"Sorry, didn't hear what you said, but we will support him and his love and stuff," said Wing Nut. Fire Wall gave a nod of agreement.
"Thanks you guys." I said.
"It's no big deal, we're in it together, and stick by your side no matter what." said Tarot, Avalon nodded happily.
The teacher, Camera Flash, walked in and started to call groups together.
“…group #12, Tarot Fortune, World Wide,” Tarot nudged me with a smile, “Wing Nut, Fire Wall, Avalon Seashores…oh, and Zone Blitz.” I felt my heart leap into my mouth as Tarot nudged me even harder and Avalon barely concealed a squeal. Zone Blitz trotted up with a friendly smile, unfortunately, his friend Line Backer was right behind him. A jerk, bully and a bit touched in the head, it didn’t take a genius to see the nasty comment waiting to be spat from his mouth.
“Sorry I gotta leave you with these weirdoes Z.B.,” he gave a creepy wink at Tarot and Avalon. “You know, we can always switch Bonbon and Carrot Top for you two.”
Tarot hissed and Avalon stuck out her tongue. Thankfully, Line Backer took the hint and walked away.
"Hey, don’t listen to that idiot" Zone Blitz said.
"We don’t care about that idiot." Avalon said. "Why do you even hang out with him?"
"He's on the football team too, and we bonded pretty fast." He said looking in my direction. I was really blushing right now. "Hey, is your friend okay? I’ve never seen that shade of red."
“I want your adopted foals.” I said suddenly.
“What?”
"I have to go." I said in a flash. I had ran away from them. "That was the stupidest thing I have ever done." I said to myself. I was so embarrassed, and I really wanted to do it over again, but there is no way I can. I am a Pegasus and unicorns' don't have that kind of magic. I'll be stuck with it for the rest of my life.
Chapter 2-Bathrooms, Feathers, and Lemonade
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chapter 3-Leting Him Free
"Oh horse-apples!"
I turned to see Firewall toying with a small computer. He saw my distressed look and stopped bothering the device. “What’s wrong World?”
"I spilled lemonade all over Zone Blitz's jersey. I'm already the laughing stock of the school. This will be the biggest blunder since the mascot incident like fifteen years ago. He'll notice me now, but for all the wrong reasons." I slumped down to the bathroom floor. I’m not sure if Firewall really understood what I said in my panic but he trotted over to me and offered a shoulder to cry on. I started to cry quietly, when the bathroom door opened, and I heard the voice of an angel.
"Umm... World Wide." The voice said quietly.
I opened the door to find Zone Blitz standing there. "H-hi." I whispered nervously, faintly blushing. Firewall looked awkward between us and started inching towards the door.
"I'm sorry about the team picking on you." Zone Blitz said.
"Let me guess, it was Line Backer's idea." I said with a sneer.
"Yeah. He thought it would be funny to push you into me for some stupid reason, so he got the other teammates involved." Zone Blitz said.
Firewall slipped on the floor but we didn’t look at him.
"Why you, why not somepony else?"
"Turns out he was just using me to get popular." He said. "When he turned away, your friend Tarot pulled his ear and took him in the hallway for a beat down."
I couldn’t help but laugh at that.
“Before she left she yelled over her shoulder that I should grow a backbone and comfort you…actually she said to cuddle you…which is weird…”
I was blushing to a rose-red and somehow I felt so comforted by him. "She’s been bugging me for a while to finally talk to you face to face."
“What?” Tarot had been bugging him? Did she tell Zone Blitz about my crush!? He was blushing too, and tapping his hoof against the floor.
“Well, I’ve wanted to ask you out for a long time now, but I wasn’t sure if you wanted an old guy like me. Tarot said that you wouldn’t care but…you know…”
"Oh." I couldn’t stop the grin from forming on my face; he wanted to ask me out all this time?
"Yeah, I’m such a dork" He said, his red face getting darker and darker. "I-I kind of think you are cute."
"Really. I-I wouldn't have expected..." I tried to say until he put his hoof over my mouth.
"No one would have it’s not anypony else’s business" Zone said. "I don’t need to be pushy, but I’ve liked you for a long time now..."
Feeling brave I planted a kiss on his lips. Fireworks went off in my head like the Fourth of July. Suddenly I heard a weird squeak and I saw another pony, Sunshine, running out of the bathroom. Zone Blitz looked so worried, and yet so cute at the same time. His jaw dropped to the floor, and he must have felt extremely embarrassed. "Zone Blitz, are you alright?" I asked, but all I got was a blank stare. "Zone?" Again silence. Then an idea popped into my head. I faced him, grabbed his neck, and planted one big kiss on his lips. Then just like that he snapped back into reality.
"Huh... what?" He mumbled.
"Are you okay? I know you aren’t a closet case but Sunshine isn’t the most private pony ever." I said frantically.
“World?” He asked, giving me a strange look.
“You should go clear your name” I said sadly, “I mean; you don’t want to go out with a lowly geographer.”
Before he could say anything I ran out the bathroom, still feeling the kiss on my lips. Once I got pretty far, I slowed down and saw Tarot in the distance beating some pony up. It was Line Backer. I walked near, and saw that she gave him a black-eye, a chipped tooth, and a bloody nose.
"Hey World, me and Line Backer were just talking, right?” She flashed her fangs at the earth pony and he nodded frantically.
"That's okay; I think he learned his lesson." I said feeling winded.
"Good. Now listen here Line Backer, if I catch you picking on any one again, you'll wish that you hadn't. GOT IT!" She said angrily. Line Backer nodded again and ran away scared. By that time, Tarot became her cheerful self again and gave me a weird look. "What are you doing here?”
I knew she was wondering why I wasn’t with Zone Blitz but I decided to play dumb, I could damage his reputation…I just couldn’t.
“What do you mean?”
She gave me a weird look but thankfully didn’t say anything.
"Nothing. Oh hey, the big pep rally is soon, I’m going with some of the other bat ponies and the guys, you should come.”
I knew that she was trying to get me to see Blitz Zone, but I didn’t want to see him right now. I didn’t, however, want to seem suspicious since I go to all the games.
"Sure, save me a seat" I said. Tarot left with a nod, leaving me to my thoughts. Zone Blitz said he liked me, but he was a jock, and I was just a geographer. He needed someone on his level. I felt sad by this thought, but it wasn’t a new one. I decided to walk to the park for a moment before heading over to the pep rally. As I walked to the park, coming down the street the other way was none other than Mayflower Blooms, Ivory Keys, and Berry Crumble. ‘This could only stir up trouble.’ I thought to myself.

Chapter 4-Everything will be All White
I tried to act nonchalant as I trotted by, but Mayflower and her friends trotted up to me with sinister smiles plastered on. As I got to the park they were already there blocking the entrance. "Well, well, well. Look at what we have here girls a flying chicken." Mayflower said. She then laughed one of those snooty rich foal laughs. "Where's your friend, Tarot, or did you trade her in for someone new like Zone Blitz."
"H-h-h-how do you know that?" I asked nervously.
"Think about it genius, how would I find out?” Mayflower said with a smirk. "Anyway, once word gets out about the freakazoid that is you and your special little jock."
The freak comment stung like having one of your feathers plucked, but I felt the need to protect Zone Blitz…even if he wasn’t mine.
“Special?” I asked, not missing the haughty look on Mayflower falter a bit. Not expecting me to ignore that huh?
"Have you seen his grades? My brother, Aluminum, said he's a straight C- student, except for Geography, he gets D’s and F’s in that." Said Ivory. "And by the looks of it he's going to flunk Geography, and everyone knows that you can’t stay in this school with grades like that."
Berry let out an ugly laugh, “and he’ll have to move back to the backwash, one-pony town that he came from.”
I really hoped that they couldn’t hear my heart dropping to the ground at the remark. Blitz? Gone?!
"Well we better be going we don't want to lose our good names." said Mayflower, and off she went to the park.
“He's flunking Geography.” I said to myself. "I can't allow that to happen. As Celestia as my witness, I shall not allow him to fail…"
"But I thought that you were avoiding him!” Avalon suddenly said, surprising me. I didn’t have to ask her how she knew since she could see through me like glass, but that didn’t stop me from blushing and sputtering like an idiot. After reassuring her that I was alright, and she had merely scared me, Avalon walked off to go finish things for the pep rally. As she left I couldn’t help but contemplate her words, I was trying to avoid him for his reputation, but he wouldn’t have a reputation if he didn’t go here.
By the time my free period is over, I was back in time for the pep rally. We have over three thousand stallions and mares at our academy, so it took some time for everypony to get into the gym. Tarot was coming my way. I waved my hoof so she could see. When she spotted me, she ran up the steps. Once everypony was in the gym, the band started playing. "So how did the talk with Zone Blitz go?" asked Tarot after nodding to some other bat ponies.
"Oh it went fine, he comforted me, asked me if I was alright, confessed his love to me, kissed me, somepony saw us, and I told him to clear his name because I didn't want him to be teased for liking another colt." I said nonchalantly. The band was getting louder. I turned to Tarot with a weird look on her face, and I don’t think that it was from the candy she was munching on.
"Wait he kissed you and you told him that you two shouldn't be together?" She asked. I nodded. "What the heck. He is so nice and you didn't want him to get teased for liking you?" I nodded again thanking Celestia that the noise was loud enough for us to have a private conversation. "Dude, I want you to be happy, but if that is what you think is best, than I can't stop you from doing anything else with your love-life." The band stopped as our student body president came on to the floor and started the pep rally.
The mic buzzed when she tapped into it. "Eh....hmm. Hello, Canterlot Guard Academy, this is your student body president Ballot Box." She said. Everypony stomped in excitement. "Now to start us off, we have our very own CGA cheerleaders!" The cheerleaders come out all peppy and excited. Avalon is a cheerleader and she is proud of it. They were just about to start when, like lightning, they were flour bombed by the football team. Everypony started laughing except for me and my friends. I couldn’t believe the football team! Didn’t they know that they were messing up their own cheerleaders!?
Line Backer started throwing the bombs into the stands and the others followed. Everypony was being pelted by flour bombs. Ponies were turning white in a matter of minutes. I was so mad, but I did see one pony on the football team not having any fun: Zone Blitz. He wasn't smiling like the others; he wasn't throwing them either. Line Backer saw this and laughed, shoving a bomb into Zone’s hoof and turning around to get a new one. That was his mistake.
Zone Blitz held up the flour bomb and for a moment, my heart dropped again as I saw him swing it…and throw it right at Line Backer. Unfortunately, Line Backer ducked, and it hit the principal.
"Grrrr...Alright all football players to my office, NOW!" he said. "The pep rally is canceled, and they will forfeit tonight's game against Hoofington Prep."
"What?!? But sir, they've been training for this game the entire season." said the coach although you could see the fury at his team in his eyes.
"I've made my decision. Because of this little prank the entire team will be out the rest of the season." He said angrily.
The football team was escorted to the dean's office to accept their punishments. Everypony went out of the gym and started back to their dorms. Tarot and I decided to stick around for a little while.
"Huh...saw that one coming." She said. "Line Backer you are sure stupid."
"Wait, Line Backer did this?" Firewall asked, he had sat out the pep rally, but came back to see what was going on when there were screams.
"Yeah, but the dean thinks it's the captain, Zone Blitz, but he didn't throw anything."
"He's being wrongfully punished. I have to stop the dean." I started to fly away, but then I remembered something, the dean’s office is all the way across campus. I had to fly faster than I ever could have, if I was going to stop the dean and free Zone Blitz. Tarot nodded at me and grabbed me, aiming at the exit. I got their faster than I ever could have with Tarot throwing me. I walked into the office and had to sign in.
"Hello, World Wide what brings you here?" said the pony behind the desk.
"Hi, I need to talk to the dean."
"Dean Purple Heart is busy with the football team's captain, Zone Blitz. I just can't believe he did it. He was always a good student."
"He didn't, but I know who really planned for the flour bombing. Line Backer."
"Line Backer, that's something I could believe. I'll let you in."
I trotted up the stairs to the dean's office. I almost got lost until I found the map of the building. I made it there just before they finished talking. "Dean Purple Heart, it was Line Backer who set up that prank. Zone Blitz had nothing to do with it, I swear." I said bursting in, trying not to look at Zone Blitz’s happy face. I tried to swallow the butterflies that he made in my stomach and got ready to make my case.
"Who told you this?" He asked.
Firewall, Wing Nut, Avalon and Tarot came in after me, panting but looking ready to have my back.
"Tarot Fortune-”
“She can see into the future sir.” Firewall interrupted quickly.
“She totally knew that this would happen!" WingNut said jumping on four hooves, Firewall and Avalon quickly tugged him down while Tarot nodded, ignoring the scene behind her.
“-and I saw what happened. Zone Blitz had nothing to do with this.”
The principal stared at the group of us for a long time before letting out a sigh. "Alright, Zone Blitz you’re off the hook, and you have no punishment. I'll have a talk with Line Backer now." he said. He left the office and suddenly, Zone Blitz had captured my eyes again. Tarot let out a quick sequel and began shoving out my friends with a quick look to Zone Blitz and me before I could protest. I didn’t need to have X-ray vision to know that she had somehow trapped us in the room. I was going to have to take those romance novels away from her and Avalon.
"Thanks for the rescue. I could've been expelled if it wasn't for you." Zone Blitz said with a warm smile. I could feel my insides melt as he started to close the gap between us. I suddenly felt way to hot and jerked back to the window with a nervous laugh, hoping the cool wind could be blamed for my red cheeks.
"Don't mention it. Zone Blitz, somepony told me that you are flunking geography. Is it true?" I asked quickly.
Zone Blitz looked at me with an ashamed look on his face, I suddenly felt bad for bringing it up. "Yeah, I've been flunking it. I've been getting C's the first few years of geography, but now they're getting worse. I'm starting to get worried that I will get kicked out," he said with such a sad face that the words spilled from my mouth before I could stop them.
"If you want I could tutor you. I'm sure can help you."
A bright smile returned to his face and I felt my own become as dark as Firewalls coat. "Alright, and since football season is over, I guess I have time to study with a tutor."
With that he started to get closer, but I moved quickly out of reach. "Okay, and about what happened in the bathroom earlier, I just didn't want you to be picked on for liking another stallion. But the truth is I do like you but I just like to be friends right now because I don't think I am ready for a real relationship. Is that okay with you?" I asked quickly, hoping that he would tone down his hotness for a tiny bit. It was distracting. Jeez, how was I supposed to do anything!?
"Huh... yeah I'll still be your friend, but you still will be my tutor right?" he asked sounding slightly upset. I nodded, ignoring the knot in my stomach, it was for the best. "Alright, but is it okay if we start the tutoring tomorrow?"
"Yes." I said. "Oh and who's your roommate?
"Line Backer."
“…” I suddenly wanted to screw everything and run away. Line Backer must of heard who ratted him out.
"Well if he is suspended for at least a week if that helps."
A giant weight was lifted off of my shoulders "Cool," I said with a smile.
I was now my crushes tutor, and he was into me…this couldn’t get bad could it?

When I got home it was quiet. My bed was still unmade as usual. The floor was a complete mess, and my desk was filled to its limits with notes and other things.
'Better clean up this place before I trip over something.' I said to myself. I live alone in a hostel near camps so it can get lonely at time. However the advisor said once a place was open, they'd allow me to move in there. Cleaning up the place was fast and I always got done faster each time. 'Well, time for bed.' I said to myself. I was half asleep and about to get into the covers when a knock came from the door. I open it to find one of the cleaning mares, April Lemons, standing there with an extremely big grin on her face. "Hi, April, what's going on?"
"It's Line Backer, he's been officially expelled!" she said.
"…Yay." I said tiredly. The fun was gone from that statement, I was already done with the incident.
"World Wide, they have a vacancy in room 228 on the west campus, you can now have a roommate." she said.
"Okay, remind me tomorrow, I need some sleep now." I said slurring quite a bit.
"Sure, nighty night!” she said with an even bigger grin on her face, I guess she was really happy that Line Backer was gone.
"Night" I said closing the door and plopping onto my bed.
The next morning, I just woke up and a knock at the door came. It was the dorm advisor, Tri-bolt. "World Wide, it's time to move into your new dorm room and meet your new roommate." he said. "He's at the gym, so you will meet him after you settle in."
"Wait, what?”
"A new place opened up for you, you should meet your roommate before making any decisions”
"Nah, I’m sure that I’ll love anyone I’m placed with. The only pony I wouldn’t want to have is Line Backer and he’s expelled.”
"Alright, then,” Tribolt gave me a weird smile before clearing his throat, “ get your things ready, you are going to be moving them down in the lobby where we’ll drop them off to the campus."
It took some time for me to put everything away, even with April Lemon's help. The others would've helped, but Wing Nut and Fire Wall was sleeping in, as usual on Saturdays. Tarot had an art club meeting, and Avalon…well let’s just say she was still getting over from yesterday's flour bombing with a certain stallion nurse she’s been eyeing for the past week. It took me and April an hour to pack everything up. We all had ice cream while we sat in the truck that moved my stuff to the west dorms. A group of unicorns got our boxes and took them to my new dorm.
"This is it…my new home.” I said nervously, I haven’t had a roommate before.
"I’ll miss you sweetie, remember our pie nights?" April said sadly.
"Of course.”
April nodded and left since mares weren’t allowed in the stallions dorms after a certain time. While the unicorns unpacked my things I wandered off around my new home. I found Fire Wall out in the library playing some scary computer game. After a few jump scares, I got him off of the computer and he started showing me around. After a while we decided to check out my new room. When I got into my new room it was what I expected. Gray walls, two beds, two desks, and a bookcase. On one side there were football posters up on the wall, a signed football by Stone Heart, one of the most famous quarter-backs of all times, and Manehattan Manticores jersey's on the floor. There was a Playpony magazines on the side of my roommate’s bed. Stallion version. Fire Wall and I took a peek at it and what we saw, well, we decided it was best to keep to ourselves.
“Well World Wide, meet your new roommate…Zone Blitz!”
I couldn’t turn around fast enough, my face felt like it glowing red. Fire Wall had stupidly dropped the magazine, and it seemed like it was going in slow motion, how everyone had watched it drop to the floor. Closed thankfully, but I could only squeak as Tri-bolt gave me a weird look before clearing his throat.
"See ya, World Wide, have fun, fight nicely with your roommate." Fire Wall called as he bolted out of the room.
"Bye." I squeaked again.
Tri-bolt walked up to me, trying not to look at the playpony on the floor and failing. "World Wide, here are your new keys for your room and the name of your new roommate is Zone Blitz." Another squeak.
Tri-Bolt practically ran out of the room leaving me with a red faced Zone Blitz.
“So…” he said, glancing at the magazine on the floor and wincing.
“So…” I said, tring not to bolt out of the room too. ‘I’ll love anyone I’m put with, I don’t need to check!’ Gah! Me and my stupid mouth! As Tarot would say hindsight is a total b-
"World Wide, your my roommate?" Zone Blitz interrupted my thoughts.
"Yeah dude."
"…But what about your roommate?"
"Never had one. Tri-bolt said if a place was open he'd give it to me."
"Cool." He squeaked before trotting up to me. I moved back, but he was really going for the magazine, which he had shoved under the bed. I guess it never happened, that’s a relief.
"And the best part of it all is when I tutor you I don't have to lug all those heavy books a long distance." I said trying to be positive, although my heart felt like it was going to pop out of my mouth. Jeez…I had to stay at least a semester with him before switching roommates, it was the rule.
"So, I guess we're going to be spending a lot of time together?" he said. I nodded. "Then I guess we should get know each other better."
"Tomorrow!” I said a little too excitedly, I felt my blush get even worse when he smiled at my eagerness. “I’m just tired from today…” I added, although he wasn’t listening. Zone Blitz was plopping on to his own bed, giving me a heart melting smile before rolling over to sleep.

Chapter 6-Doing It...Hard!
The next day, I woke up to the sound of one of my favorite artists, DJ PON3. Only thing is it wasn't my CD of it. Opened my eyes to find Zone Blitz, rocking out to the song. His mane was flipping about as he bobbed his head to the beat. It made him look so cool and funny. I decided to pretend I was still asleep. When he wasn't looking, I would turn around and watch him move to the music. After about five minutes of doing that I decided to get up only to see that he didn't see me. He was still moving that sexy purple flank to the music. When the song was over he looked over to me with dilated pupils and a crimson blush on his face.
"Morning, sunshine." I said with a giggle.
"How much of that did you see?" he said embarrassedly.
"All of it, but I am not going to tell anyone." He was blushing. "I didn't know you listened to PON3."
"Are you kidding me? I love her music." There was an awkward pause for a moment.
"Favorite song?" I asked
"Night Light/Out of Time remixes." He said. "Favorite collaboration with another artist?"
"Keep my Heart with MC W1SH." Another awkward pause. "Wow, I didn't know we had that in common."
"I know right. Hey is it okay if we just hang out for today we can study tomorrow."
"Yeah, alright."
Zone Blitz wanted to spend the day with me and get to know me better. So we decided to stay in our dorm and ask each other questions. We spent about half an hour discussing our favorite things. After that, we started getting into personal stuff like family, friends, and other things like that. Then I asked, "Did you always have a crush on me?"
"Not always. I had a crush on Line Backer at first. But when Tarot showed me a picture of you I fell in love all over again. Besides, Line Backer started pulling pranks on me around that time." He said.
"What kinds of pranks?"
"He dumped a bucket of ice water on me, air horned me when I walked through the door, offer me a stick of gum that would shock you, and the last one he pulled is where I found out he was just using me to get popular. He made me dress in socks and a thong while somepony was behind the door, took a picture, and he threatened me to go along with his pep rally prank or he'll show it to everypony in the academy."
"Okay that's rude."
"Yeah. I took the picture before he left so he didn't have anything to blackmail me with."
I blushed extremely red. "C-can I see it? I mean it's fine if you don't want me to."
"Yeah you can see it."
He went over to his dresser and pulled out the picture. He motioned for me to come over. I looked at it. He was wearing light blues socks and a thong to match. It turned me on so much. He saw it and said, "You want me to give you some relief?" I nodded.
That instant he started kissing me. His kiss was warm and inviting. I never wanted it to end. We kissed for a full hour before he got up and changed into those socks and that thong. When he came over he crawled on the bed with me and asked me, "Do you want me to do it down there?" I nodded. I turned over and allowed him access to me. I felt him in my body, going up and down.
"Zone, I think I'm bleeding."
"No worries that's what happens the first few times." Just then he came in me. I wanted to scream, but I held it in and moaned.
*moan* It felt so good but I didn't want to bleed on him so I turned over. I said, "I may not be your coltfriend, but we can be friends with benefits and who knows maybe someday we'll be even mor... " I was about to say when he started kissing me, and I took it as a yes.
The next morning, I woke up and found Zone Blitz still asleep. I decided I shouldn't bother him and leave a note on the door. I went to go get some breakfast, and on my way there I saw Tarot. I waved over to her and she waved back I trotted over to see her. "Hey, where were you yesterday? I missed you." She said flashing her fangs.
"Oh, I was getting situated with my new roommate."
"You got a roommate now? Who is it?" She said in a singsong voice.
"Well, Line Backer got expelled and there was a vacancy so Tri-bolt allowed me to stay with Line Backer's former roommate. And you will never believe who it is. It's..."
"Zone Blitz."
"Yeah, how did you know?" I asked. That was the stupidest question I could've asked her.
"Fortune telling remember? I also know you had sex last night." Tarot wiggled her eyebrows and smiled.
I was blushing as red as a bushel of cherries. Tarot just looked at me and smirked. Just then, I heard a cackle behind me with an unmistakable voice. "Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Well what do we have here; a chicken and a vampire?” I turned around and saw Mayflower Blooms, Ivory Keys, and Berry Crumble. "You two are as out of place here as Princess Luna is." said Mayflower. Tarot looked furious. Her eyes became blood-shot, she started breathing heavily, her fangs showing, and usual half-smile turned into a full on frown.
"Nobody talks about Princess Luna in front of me like that." said Tarot about to bite.
"Easy, Tarot, easy." I said holding her back. "Why did you even come here if were going to make fun of the Princesses?"
"I didn't have a choice." Mayflower said. "My father said I was to spoiled and I needed to learn discipline and kindness. I don't even want to be a guard; I want to be a florist." Tarot and I just looked at her in confusion.
"Then why don't you tell your father that?" Asked Tarot.
"He said if I don't become a guard I would never get what I want. Now, good day to you numb-skulls." She said as she walked away. Ivory and Berry stayed around.
"Okay, the only reason we hang out with her is because I'm her roommate and Berry is her cousin.,” said Ivory.
"We don't want to act like snobs, but Mayflower is such a diva when she doesn't get her way." said Berry.
"Are you two coming?" Mayflower said from a distance. Ivory and Berry left in a flash.
"I feel sorry for them." I said looking at Tarot. "Oh an about what happened with me and Zone Blitz, you won't go around the academy telling ponies will you?"
"Your secret is safe with me." She said. With that we were off to breakfast.
I noticed that it was starting to get breezy. 'Winter must be coming early this year.' I thought. I saw some ponies getting ready to go home for Hearth's Warming Eve and winter break. I don't go home for that holiday because I am an orphan. The grass was getting duller and the ground was colder than it was yesterday. I knew that sooner or later, snow would fall.
When we got to the breakfast hall, there was a shorter line than usual. 'I guess the seniors got to go sooner than we thought.' I said to myself. It was our turn to get breakfast. I got a blueberry muffin, milk, an orange, and yogurt. Tarot got a bowl of cereal, apple juice, and a peach. After we paid for it, we went to sit with our friends, but there was another stallion at our table. He was sun-kissed orange with a slick-backed yellow mane and a tanning mirror as a cutie mark.
"Hey, World, Tarot, this is my new boyfriend, Sunshine Burst." Said Avalon excitingly.
"Hi." He said.
"How did you two meet?" Tarot asked.
"Well during the flour bombing, a lot of it got in my eye. I was running around aimlessly, when I bumped into this hotty. I couldn't see him at first, but once I got my eyes flushed out, I couldn't believe them. He was the hottest stallion I have seen. So we started talking and he and I found out that we both have things in common, so we decided to go out."
"I have no words to describe the idiotic decision you made.,” said Tarot. "You should have at least taken things slow."
"Says the bat-pony who has not had a relationship in a year."
Tarot's fangs were starting to show. That usually meant she was going to bite. And bite she did, into a peach. "Hey! Not my fault I don't like the guys here...for more than a moment." She said with a mouth full of peach.
"Calm down Tarot, before you bite something else." said Firewall. Tarot took a deep breath and she looked calmer.
After that was over, I saw Zone Blitz walk over with a worried look on his face. His pupils went small, and that usual care-free vibe I got from him went away. He sat down next to me and Tarot. "Hi Zone." said Wing Nut. Zone just gave him a blank stare.
"Zone, are you okay?" I asked.
"I got two notes today. One from you saying you were here, and another one from Tri-bolt that he got from the office." Zone Blitz said.
"What did it say?" Asked Avalon.
"It said, if I don't get a 90 or above on the next geography test, they will have to expel me for lacking grades."
"What?!? I knew we should've studied yesterday." I exasperated.
"I think we should give them some time to talk,” said Tarot pushing our friends away.
"You still want my help studying?" I asked. Zone Blitz nodded his head. "Alright, during lunch come with me to the library."
“Actually study!” Tarot yelled over her shoulder.
The day was going by slower than expected. During first period gym, we had to learn archery, which was very hard since I can't hold the bow correctly. After that was second period technology. We couldn't get any of our projects done because Firewall had to go to the bathroom to puke. Tarot told him not to have a second helping of cereal and that the milk smelled funny. Third period science was no cakewalk either. There was a little mishap with some chemicals, a fire, and a beaker with no measurements. When it came to fourth period geography, I saw how much Zone Blitz struggled. He not only couldn't think straight about this stuff, but when he was called on to answer questions, he was hyperventilating, sweating, and couldn't speak. I knew then and there he needed my help more than ever. Finally, fifth period came around and trying to find Zone Blitz wasn't to hard. I spotted him in line for lunch. I got to the end of the line and waited for him. He came up to me with a half smile.
"Hey, you ready to help me study?" he asked.
"I am, and we can study after we eat." I said.
Lunch didn't take as much time as I thought. We just talked some more about our hobbies and stuff. When it was time to study he was fully cooperative, but he was unsure about his answers. "Okay, so Manehattan is made up of how many districts?" I said.
"Five." He said.
"Good. Now, name them."
"Business, fashion, the isles, star point, and cultural."
"Good. Now, Baltimare has eleven sister cities. And there are two in which country?"
"Jutpan?" He said unconfidently.
" Yes. And don't stress out. We are only doing one border per marking period. And Mr. Globe Trotter will allow you to talk to him after class if you need a little extra help, or if the tutoring I am giving you is not enough."
"But what if I..." he began to say.
"Listen to me. You can do this. You just lack some confidence. I want to help you for this test coming up. Let me help you just have to calm down and not let it get to you."
He nodded at me. "What's the next question?" he said.
"Okay. Now, you want to get to Manehattan from Hoofington. How long will it take you to walk and how long will it be by train?"
"To walk, four days. By train two and a half hours."
I nodded my head.
It took the rest of the period to get through the questions. He wasn't ready yet, but he was getting closer.
"Just keep studying, and you'll get at least a ninety."
"Okay." He said as he gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
We went to our sixth period classes. Little did I know somepony was watching us…
Little did we know, two pairs of eyes were looking straight at us. They were the eyes of Ivory Keys and Berry Crumble. They were in shock to see the football captain and I were sharing a kiss. There jaws were dropped as low as the pavement. Berry took out her camera and took a picture.
"Holy cow. We have to show this to Mayflower." Ivory said.
"Show me what?" Mayflower said sneaking up behind them. Berry showed her the picture of us kissing. "Hmph, I was right all along. I was just kidding the first time, but now I have proof that they are coltcuddlers." Suddenly, an idea came into her head. "Now we have proof. Do you girls know what this means?" She said with a devious look on her face.
"That I have another picture for my scrapbook." Berry said taking out her scrapbook. Ivory put her hoof against her head.
"Um... no. Blackmail." Ivory and Berry sat there with confused looks on there faces. "Think about it. We show this to World Wide and force him to do our homework, and if we show this to Zone Blitz we can force him to get us drinks, lunch, and our books."
"But what happens if they refuse?" Asked Ivory.
"We tell them that we will copy it and threaten to give a copy to the entire school." Mayflower said looking at them seeing Berry was still trying to process it. "Don't strain yourself Berry."

I decided with a little help from Tarot that I should combine the chapters. so I may or may not combine the former chapters 8&9 together.
Chapter 7: The Dean and I
It was hard work to help Zone Blitz, but it will pay off. Tomorrow is Tuesday, one more day before the test and winter break, and no time for things to go wrong. Zone Blitz had come back late because he was weightlifting. Zone looked buffer and more muscular. When he came in, he walked up to me and kissed me. I decided to ask him about his plans for winter break. "So, Do you got any plans for winter break?" I asked.
"Just back home to my small home town." He said.
"I never did ask you where you're from. So where are you from?"
"Stableton. Southern town, not really known, and extremely friendly. Unless you are a coltcuddler." He went over to his dresser and pulled out the Manehattan Manticores jersey. "I should be asking you the same thing. Where are you from World Wide?"
I was born in a bad neighborhood and I don't remember much except that my family were out of place there. They tried to raise me, but on an unfortunate day, my parents died trying to protect me. I survived, however. I was just a little colt so I really don't remember my time when I was there. The last thing I remember of that place was that I was on the streets begging for bits and that's when dean Purple Heart found me. He asked me if I had a home and I responded no. So he took me to the CGA and told me that once I am old enough I can enroll here. He took me in and in a sort of way he adopted me as his own child.
"Well...I usually just stay here." I said.
"Really?" He said as he was getting his jersey on. "Why?"
"Um...Well, you see, I am basically an orphan."
"Wait, you're an orphan?" I nodded. "Now I feel bad for you."
I was tearing up. "Oh, it's fine, the staff felt like family when the dean took me in."
"The dean took you in. Does that mean that he's your step-father?"
"Well, no. He never signed any papers to adopt me, but was allowing me to stay with him and paid for me to attend here. So in a way, he's like my unofficial step-father."
"Weird. So I guess you can get away with things then?"
"Oh, no. He gets even more mad at me when I do something wrong."
"Too bad. So I guess you have plans for Hearth's Warming Eve then, right?"
"No not really. The dean and April just give me gifts eat some fruitcake and other things like that."
"Well if it's alright with the dean and you, I would like to invite you to come over my family's house for Hearth's Warming Eve and winter break."
I was shocked to hear him say that. I was happy but at the same time I was a little embarrassed. "Huh... I'll talk to the dean about it, but I don't really know if he will."
"Okay. Oh, and I forgot to tell you that I will be going to Coin Toss's dorm to watch the Manehattan Manticores take down the Baltimare Minotaur. I made a bet with Coin that the Manticores will win it."
"Have fun." I said. Zone Blitz was getting his room key trying to find it under his mess. Once he found it, he strolled out the door. I was alone on a Monday night, like usual. So I decided to do my homework. There is just one problem, there was none except to study. Then I thought, about what I said to Zone Blitz. 'I'll talk to the dean about it, but I don't really know if he will.' There was only one way to find out.
The dean was going through his desk, looking for some paperwork. His office wasn't anything new. Turquoise walls, a hard blue carpet, an old bookshelf, a desk, and a filing cabinet of all the student's profiles. He had found what he was looking for and was ready to leave when I knocked on his door. "Come in." He said. I opened the door with squeaky hinges. "Oh, hello World Wide, you just caught me, I was just about to leave. So what did you come here for? Advice? Bullying problems? Asking me to adopt you again?"
"Um...no. I was wondering if it was alright with you if I could go over to Zone Blitz's house for the holiday's?"
He hesitated for a moment I could see it in his baggy-eyes. "Why? Don't you like spending the holiday's hear?"
"Yes, it's just I feel like I should go. It feels wrong of me to not accept his invitation. I'm not trying to get away from you, I just want to be with my friend who offered me to stay with him and his family."
I could tell he was going to say no. He probably just wants me to be safe and not allow me to go. "Hmmm... alright you can go, on one condition, you see me and April before you go."
I nodded and hugged him so tightly that he was gasping for air. "Thank you." I said.
I walked out with the dean and help him with his things outside to where he stayed. He isn't old, more like middle-aged, but a war wound makes it hard for him to lift heavy objects like his brief-case. As we got to his part where he slept, he said "I can handle it from here." He waved his hoof to me and was off to his quarters.
I was on my way back to the dorm. The air was brisk and the night sky was clear. The leaves on the trees however seemed so eerie and out of place at the beginning of winter. It felt like Nightmare-night. I was in the square of the campus when I felt like I was being watched. I thought it was nothing and kept on walking, and that's when the hoof steps started up. I started trotting, but the hooves were catching up to me. I started to trot a little faster, but the hoof steps were catching up closely. That is when I started to run as fast as I could. The hoof steps started after me again and I felt like I was in trouble. I was almost at my dorm. I close my eyes for one minute and I hit my head on something. I wonder who it was chasing after me. Just then I was picked up by somepony. All that was going through my head was 'What was this pony going to do to me?'

I couldn't think of a good title so I went with the first thing that came to my mind.
I am back and here is a hint to my next chapter. It involves the season finale of My Little Pony.
The next chapter is extremely bad, or at least to me it is. I wish I could've been more attentive to it.
Chapter 8: From Good to Horrific
Chapter 8: From Good to Horrific
I was afraid for my life. I was being placed on something soft. That's when I heard a faint voice. "Hey, World, are you okay?" That's when I knew who's voice it was. I opened my eyes; there were visions of him spinning around with the moving one still trying to become one. His eyes made me feel like everything was going to be fine.
"Ugh... Zone Blitz."
"Hey take it easy, I don't want you to feel even worse than you already do."
"Okay. Oh how was the game?"
"I got 10 bits from a Manticore win."
"Nice." I knew it was time to tell him the news. He was putting away his jersey. He was looking like a stallion who new what he wanted fro the angle I was looking at. "Hey, the dean said I could come over for the winter break, but only if I see him before I go."
"Really?!? I thought he wouldn't allow it."
"He did and I am excited to meet your family."
"World I am glad you get to come home with me."
"Well, yeah if you get a 90 on your test."
"Yeah, so tomorrow, we have to study harder."
I nodded.
*yawn* "Well, we better get rested." I said.
"Yeah, night." He said.
The next morning, when I woke up, I felt like something bad was going to happen. Tomorrow was the test and I couldn't let myself feel out of whack. When I was getting up I saw Zone's bed all messy. 'Hmm. Out for an early work out session, again.' I thought.
"Tarot, what happened?" I asked.
"Well, it started around five minutes ago," she said in a hushed voice. " We were eating breakfast and we heard screams. At first we thought nothing of it, then more started to occur and that's when went out side to find a giant centaur, and Discord, stealing the magic of unicorns. Avalon, Firewall, Wing Nut, Sunshine and I tried to stop him, but centaur stole Firewall's magic, my ability to fly, and the other's abilities of what they do best, and went off south."
"I'm sorry guys. I want to help but I just can't." I said tearing up. Then I noticed Blitz was missing. "Blitz! Blitz, where's Blitz?!?"
Avalon was sticking her head up and pointing her hoof. "He's...over...there."
I turned to where she was pointing at and I saw Zone Blitz. He wasn't looking like himself. He had lost a sheen to his coat, and his eyes lost that olive green color I loved.
"Oh my Celestia! Blitz, are you okay?!?" I shouted. He lay there stone cold, nothing but emptiness. "BLITZ!!!... BLITZ SPEAK TO ME GOD DAMMIT!!!!" I shouted for a long time. Still no response. " No. No no no no no no NO!" I started to cry so hard, you could have filled Lake Marechigan. "DON'T YOU DARE DIE ON ME BLITZ!!!" That is when...I felt a pulse. I started to ease up on my crying and realized he was just passed out. "That's a relief. I thought I almost lost you." I whispered to him. "But now what am I going to do?" I spent minutes puzzling what to do next. I decided that the best thing to do is just wait it out. I waited for hours and that's when I thought they were dead. All of them had stopped moving when it was eight-o-clock am, and that's when I got extremely scared. I freaked out. I know nopony was going to hear me so I started to cry near Zone Blitz. After a few minutes of crying, a pony lit up the sky with a white trail of sparkling light. I couldn't see her face, but I know she was giving the magic back to the ponies. One by one, they got there eye color and cutie-marks back. Zone Blitz's coat was getting back its sheen, his eyes were back to olive green and his cutie-mark went straight back to his normal football flank. He started moving again and he looked at me with reassurance.
"Ugh. World, buddy, is that you?" He said.
"Yes. Blitz, yes." I said. He wrapped me in his hooves and gave me the biggest hug ever.
"I knew today would be eventful. I just didn't know how." he told me.
"Yeah." I said. I have no idea what truly happened to everyone when I was asleep, but I do know that everyone is safe and possibly never going to experience something like this again. I then hugged Zone Blitz as hard as I could, and he did the same. Then somepony came up behind me and tapped my shoulder so I could turn around. It was Tarot and the gang. They got in on the hug-fest and I was extremely shocked that they did this. Tarot was the biggest surprise; She usually didn't hug. I guess she got so emotional that she just wanted to hug me. And you know what, it was nice to have all my friends around me.
The hug lasted for ten minutes, and I was wanting to them to get off. I love them but it was getting too warm. Just after I got Avalon off, the campus announcement system was on. 'Ehmmm. Will all students and faculty please come to the main hall for an emergency meeting. Thank you.' I had a feeling we knew what it was for. I motioned for them to come. It was a pretty short walk from the breakfast hall to the main hall. As we got to the front of the building, I noticed that there was a good mount of ponies in the line. It took fifteen minutes before we got in, and found our seats. The main hall is the oldest building on campus. It is an old brick building with white oak wood supporting's. It is mainly used for meetings about extremely important things like budget cuts, what new additions would be built in the upcoming years, and events that seriously affect the school. Inside is a big room with over thirty thousand seats, white walls, a red carpet, and a stage for the academy board members. Dean Purple Heart will usually holds entire school meetings for around an hour, so we don't know what will happen.
Dean Purple Heart went up to the podium and said, "Students and faculty of The Canterlot Guard Academy, the monster Tirek, who took away our magic, was sent back to Tartarus." Everyone was clapping and cheering for a while until the Dean interrupted again. "However, due to recent issues, the School Board has decided that you need your rest, so today we will have no classes but we will have classes tomorrow. Have a nice day." And with that we were all out of here Lickety-split.

I am not happy with this chapter. I know it sappy and extremely late but it is the end of the school year so I don't have time for a lot of writing. I post more in the summer.
