This story tells the tale of Light Heart and his brother Shadow Hooves who are separated at birth by the agreement of their parents, who are the current rulers of the newly formed land of Brighthooves. King Night Hooves and Queen Lady Light sent their children to live with their close friends, Captain Bright Light Bravery and Captain Shining Moon, although not together. But as an unknown threat begins to awaken, Light Heart and Shadow Hooves must learn of their linage and of each other if they are to take their places as the rightful heirs as to the light and dark thrones that rule over Brighthooves. Will they succeed in doing so, or will this new threat triumph in bringing this new land into complete darkness and chaos for all eternity? There's only one way to find out…
