War. The defeat of the Makuta was supposed to signal the end of the bloodshed that plagued the once peaceful nation, but it was not to be. Events of the war have spiralled out of control, democracy has failed, and Equestria has been all but defeated in a war they neither sought nor were prepared for.

In a failed last effort, two scarred and battered ponies, veterans in one form or another, are thrust together to once more fight for their country. This time however, their actions will affect more than just Equestria, and could have consequences that threaten reality itself.

In this coming time, sins will be weighed, and the price will echo throughout history.
