"Ugh, and there goes another laborer into the machine." A pissed off Rainbow Dash said throwing her hooves into the air. "And you morons wonder why we only have twenty-six people in the entire factory, well now twenty-five. I mean come on that was the head engineer, he should've known better."

She walked down the stairs and onto the main floor, over to the far side where the rainbows were suppose to come out. "Oh you've got to be kidding me! Only red, what the hell! You!" She said pointing a hoof towards the engineer at the control panel, "Switch the knob to rainbow, not purified blood!"

"At once ma'am." He responded flipping meny knobs, levers, and switches when he only had to turn a single knob. "You idiot, just the damn knob!" She said walking back onto the the walkways by the mouth of the machine and pushing the new head engineer out of the way. "Just the one big red knob in the middle of the fuckin' control panel." She said turning the knob 180 degrees and switching it back to rainbow production then revving up the machine.

"There, that simple. Make sure the blades are spinning properly." The engineer obeyed his orders and went over to the edge to make sure everything was working. "All checks ouahhh-" Was all he managed to say before he was pushed into the machine which slowly gutted and grinned him into nothing but a rainbow.

"Sorry," Rainbow laughed "but I didn't have any subjects on hand." She quickly flew over to the output end of the machine again. "There we go, that's better." She grinned and dipped her hoof into the rainbow and tasted it. "Bleh," she said coughing and sputtering "still as spicy as ever."

"Ma'am," said the head of security in the veiwing room, "maybe if you didn't push so many of our work force into the machine we wouldn't be so short staffed." Rainbow Dash stiffly turned her head to look at the guard, a evil smile beginning to form on her face. "N-never mind ma'am." The guard nervously sputtered.

"Oh no, you're completely right." She said walking towards the exit. "Send out three men to go look for recruits, and did Discord and the changelings capture any new grounds lately?"

"Yes," he called over the intercom, " I do believe Poniville and some outlieing areas were captured."

She stopped, with her eyes full of hate, and for the first time in a while, fear. 'I know one person in that town who wouldn't leave, even if the chaos spread there.' She thought looking at the base of her wing where the stiches used to be. The same ass who chopped off my wing, Pinkie Pie.

In the beginning of the war between chaos and harmony she was the only element who went to defend Cloudsdale, and all alone she lost. Discord personally infected her with the pleague, the same pleague she had in the maze. Except this pleague was more crude then the one  she had before, it turned ponies into thugs and criminal, herself included.

Although the pleague does not remove fear, and anyone who new the new Dash was paralized with it, for they knew if she got a hold of you, you might as well be dead.

Everyone thought that Rainbow was fearless, and for the most part that was true. There was only one thing that scared her, and that was Pinkie, or as she prefers Pinkamena.

She walked over to a wall phone and activated the intercom channel. "Cancel the three men, I'm going alone."

*~*~*~*~*

As Rainbow Dash flew towards Poniville the only thing she could hear was the wind whipping in her ears, and the laugh. Pinkamena's psychotic laugh.

See, what happened to Rainbow Dash was somewhat of a traumatic experience. A couple of months ago Pinkie Pie knocked out Rainbow with a drugged cupcake. When she woke up Pinkie was there, with the same smile seared into Rainbow's mind. Then without hesitation she slowly and painfully started chopping of Rainbow's wing, then when it was hanging off by a tendon she ripped it off. She then left Dash to suffer, too bad Pinkie can't tie knots too well.

She managed to break free of the restraints and ran as fast as she could to the hospital, with her severed wing in her mouth. She told the doctors everything, they immediately sent the royal guards to Sugar Cube Corner. Upon their arrival they immediately raided the basement, but it was completely empty. There was no blood, no instruments of torture, absolutely nothing. Since there was no credible evidence against her, she walked free.

There was no evil basement, no evil Pinkie, nothing. After that was investigated they began to call Rainbow crazy, everyone thought she did it to her self, or was going crazy.

If her sanity was doubted before, now it is defiantly broken, shattered, probably to never be found again.

*~*~*~*~*

Now she was standing outside of everyone's favorite candy shop, her blood stained lab coat whipping in the wind behind her. Now she had this feeling she hadn't had in what felt like forever; fear. It was thrilling.

So she began to take those first few steps into the building. The building was dark, the only light coming from windows, the blood red sky with black clouds casting a red glow. Hopefully Rainbow would be able to see the sky after this.

She began to look around the main floor which looked like a tornado ran threw it. She went over to the cash register, and quickly checking behind her, she bucked it open. "Fifty bits? Not bad Pinkie, not bad at all."

Then she went up the stairs into Pinkie's room. It was currently empty, but there were bloody hoof prints leading into the neatly made bed. "Someone doesn't care to wash their hooves."

Then she heard a scream coming from down stairs. Once again being back on the main floor she heard the scream coming from behind a closed door. She slowly made her way over to the door, slowly opening it.

She began to creep down the stairs and walked down till she could just barely see what was going on. She saw a poor mare strapped to the same table she was all that time ago.

Everything looked exactly the way it did when she was there. Then while scanning the room her eyes fell upon Pinkie, her mane completely flat against her neck. Then she looked at the mare again, and the mare was looking right at her.

"You, help!" she called. Then with insane reflexes Pinkie spun around launching a knife at Rainbow. Luckily it missed impaling the wall behind her, "Fuck!" She said as she ran back up the stairs.

"I know that voice!" Pinkie said. "You stay put!" the mare strapped to the table nodded nervously.

"Shitshitshit! Need a weapon!" Rainbow said rummaging through a drawer. She pulled out a meat cutting knife, then ran towards the door.

She was just about to open the door when another knife flew by her face and into the knob.

"It's been forever Dashie!" The voice said. Slowly Rainbow turned to face the direction the knife had sailed from. "Yea it has."

"Sorry about not being able to help you defend Cloudsdale." She said mockingly. "No it's fine, I knew the risks of going alone. Becides even if you did help we would've lost anyway."

"So," she said walking closer, "what have you been doing since you've been infected by the pleague?"

"Well I'll have you know I run a very successful rainbow factory. We grind up other ponies to make rainbows."

"Oh, sounds like fun!" Pinkie said closing in more. "Yea, it's nice to hear the screams and bone crushing of the victim. So how's your bakery been?"

"Good, so far no one has escaped since you have. You taught me to tie the knots tighter." She said grinning her face not 2 feet from Rainbow's. "I am not the scared little filly I was when I was here last time. I am not afraid of you."

"Oh please," she laughed, "you're lying to me and yourself. It's only the pleague talking through you. Last time you just got lucky, I won't let that happen again."

"I don't plan on you winning this time, you cheated before." Rainbow said raising the blade.

"Fine, you wanna go? Bring it on!" She said pulling out the meat cleaver she had behind he back.

Pinkie made the first strike, but Rainbow managed to parry her blade and get a cut on her chest before Pinkie jumped out of the attack.

"Damn, you weren't kidding when you said you got better. Nice blow." Pinkie said wiping the blood of her chest and into her mouth. "You know I like blood as much as the next person, but your own blood? That's just weird."

"Like you should judge!" Pinkie said lunging at Rainbow. She was unprepared for the full on slam from Pinkie and was thrown into a wall, her knife clattering to the ground.

"Any last words?" Pinkie said raising the blade. "Yea, you forgot to tie me up!" Rainbow said putting all her power in a buck right into Pinkie's gut and slamming into the wall so hard it cracked.

Rainbow took advantage of her opportunity and picked up her knife and ran over to the dazed Pinkie.

By the time Pinkie could see straight she felt a cold blade against her neck. She had been pinned down and now Rainbow was in a position to slit her throat.

"So? Do it! Kill me!" Pinkie said her face full of rage. Rainbow Dash smiled knowing that killing her would be the easiest thing she could ever do. So why couldn't she?

"No!" She said removing the knife from Pinkie's throat and impaling it into the wall next to her head, "This isn't what I came here to do!"

"Then why the hell are you here?" Pinkie said standing up.

"Because I'm short staffed."
