On Earth I was yet again on the floor of the art room in my school, and like always it was the same jerk that tripped me. I won't say names, but if you know me in real life you'll know this kid. Anyway, and yet again I was picking myself off the floor right as the bell rang, and like always the kid I mentioned was in his seat I wasn't so I was counted tardy....again. I was sick, and tired of this everyday, or so this happened, and he never got caught, and I'm no snitch so I didn't rat him out. Oh how rude I forgot to introduce myself my names Gage, and I go to a pretty big school in a small Indiana town. I have curly brown hair, and brown eyes, I'm about six feet tall maybe five eleven, also I always wear my signature Purdue University hoodie always, lastly I have a pair of rimless glasses the eye doctor said I had to wear now. Enough about me let's get back to the story. So after the school day was out me, and my cousin Max would walk to the bus. We'd mostly talk about ponies (due to MLP being our favorite show) on this day it was really windy so I pulled my Derpy Hooves flat bill hat on a bit tighter to avoid it flying off. It was then when my phone went off in my pocket. "One moment." I said digging around in my pocket. "I'll see you on the bus." said Max already walking off. I finally got out my iPhone, and after wiping some dust off its Call of Duty Black Ops 2 case I answered the call. What I received was a sound I thought was a washer, or something. I shrugged and clicked the 'end call' button, but found my finger pushed right through the screen at the point my finger touched it! I quickly jerked my finger back, and I heard talking...it was coming from my phone! It sounded like a girl, and a guy, but I was sure on one thing these guys (well what I could decipher as words to support this) was that he was bullying this girl. The girl was so quiet I couldn't even hear her any more so I took a brave step, and pushed my hand against the phone. The screen melted away leaving a swirling vortex the noises were coming from inside! I am a bit of a wimp yes, but I hated it when bullies won, and for some reason I felt protective over this female voice in my phone. I had no controll over what happened afterwards for the vortex I mentioned was sucking me in. "No bad vortex thingie bad!" I said while trying to drag myself away from the vortex all bravery gone, but the vortex was to strong I was being sucked in. Cloudsdale Fluttershy's POV I was utterly terrified. If you want to know why I guess I'll tell you. It was my third week at flight camp, and I hated this place. All the kids picked on me for being a weak flyer, but I couldn't help it, and now I was being bullied again, and the only friend I've ever made wasn't here to help Rainbow Dash had flight drills to do. I was backed up against the wall at the end of a hallway a colt much larger than her blocked the path his name was Midnight Feather "Go ahead cry like the little baby you are!" said Midnight. I was on the verge of tears trying to hide behind my mane for it was my only safety. If you want to know what my tormentor looked like he's a pure black pegasus colt, black eyes, black mane, the only part of him that wasn't black (besides the whites of his eyes) was his cutiemark it was a grey feather in front of a full moon. "Please leave me alone." I asked ever so quietly. He obviously didn't hear, and continued his assault. This time he wasn't going to be just verbal. He raised his hoof only to be cut off by a much taller colt falling out of nowhere onto his back knocking him off balance, and onto the floor. The new colt on the other hoof was planted firmly on his hooves. He was a bright red, pegasus with a curly brown mane, but a straight brown tail he to was a blank flank. "You won't hurt her!" he said his voice much deeper for a colt of his size "You do I'll hurt you back!" I also noticed the black hoodie he was wearing, and the golden colored letter 'P' on the front. "Like you can take me!" Midnight remarked "Besides why are you defending that worthless piece of poultry?" his question was met by a hoof to the muzzle. I jumped back at his reaction to Midnight considering only Rainbow Dash had ever defended me I was shocked that another pony was standing up for me. Last time Rainbow tried to defend her from Midnight she got a black eye, and a busted wing he was ruthless. But here was this pony she'd never seen before completely pummeling her bully. After a while Midnight decided to retreat, and the mystery colt approached me. "You okay?" he asked in a gentle tone I was a bit afraid of him so I scooted back only to meet a wall. "It's okay I'm your friend. Names Gage." he said extending his hoof. I was reluctant at first, but I shook his hoof. "HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" said Rainbow trotting over to us probably thinking I was being bullied by Gage. "I just saved your friend from a bunch of bruises, and broken bones thank you very much." he said getting up on his hooves he dwarfed Rainbow Dash a good few inches. "This true Shy?" the cyan filly asked. I nodded from behind my mane peeking out of a small break in the hairs. "Well then pleased to meet you. Names Rainbow Dash, and I'm the fastest flyer in this entire school!" she held out her hoof to the newcomer, and he took it, and shook. "Names Gage, and I have no clue what I'm good at." Chapter 2 Puking Rainbows and FreefallingI was siting in one of the cloud spinny chairs people use in offices in Cloudsdale because Fluttershy had one, and she was letting me hide out in her, and Rainbows room due to me not being enrolled, and in would most likely be sent to an orphanage being a kid with no parents in this dimension. Sooner or later I got bored, and started spinning in said chair it was a bit more fun, but not much. "Ugh! I'm so bored!" I exclaimed to no pony in particular. Being the bored pony I was I looked around the room.....it was all clouds except for the occasional Wonderbolts poster, or piece of merchandise. I swear that pegasus is obsessed you can't even go into the room without seeing something Wonderbolts related. I finished looking around, and became even more bored that last time. I was about to get up when Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash walked back into the room with news. "I told the councilors that I would have a cousin dropping by today to join the academy. Here is your room key!" said Rainbow as she hoofed me a key made completely out of clouds. I took it, and put it in my hoodies pocket. "Thank you thank you thank you!" I said over and over in excitement. "No need to thank us just get to your room, and don't get caught here in the fillies dormitory, and you should be fine." said the cyan pegasus. I nodded, and went out the door to go find my room. Luckily I wasn't caught, and I got to my room with no trouble at all. I inserted the key, and walked in only to find that colt I roughed up earlier in my room! "What the heck! What are you doing here?" I asked. "It's my room, and judging by the fact you have a key your my new room mate." said the colt "Names Midnight Feather, and just so you know I will get back at you blank flank." There it was the first threat of the school year. Dorm Room Fluttershy's POV I sat on my bunk in mine, and Rainbow Dash's dorm room just waiting for the staff to call lights out, but I was also thinking about the colt Gage was it? That was it yes. I was thinking 'Why did he save me?'. I didn't know him so why would he risk his safety for me? "What's on your mind Shy?" asked Rainbow as she pinned another Wonderbolts poster onto the cloud wall above her headrest. "Just thinking about that colt." I answered he absolutely puzzled me. "Ooooohhhhhh you have a crush on him don't you?" said Rainbow. I blushed. "Oh no! I don't have a crush on any pony just thinking about why he helped me." I said trying to change the subject. "What ever. As for why he helped you...I have no idea my thought he's just a nice guy." said Rainbow Dash. My Room my POV This colt was trying to make my life miserable here, but thanks to this worlds restrictions it wasn't that bad. Mostly the occasional punch, or paint filled ballon so by the end of the day I was puking rainbows. It was around seven pm now, and I finally got the last of the rainbow colored vomit out of the cloud walls when Midnight got back to the dorm from who knows what. I wasn't gonna take any more of his crap so I just went to my bed on the far side of the room, and sat down. I really hated this kid for legitimate reasons. "You know you don't have to like me, but can you at least be civil? Just talk it's boring here, and I want to argue with some pony." said Midnight. Really? I mean I understand liking to argue my family is obsessed with it, but really? "Why do you want to argue?" I asked utterly confused. He shrugged "I'm bored." The Next Morning Fluttershy's POV I rubbed the sleep from my eyes as I tried to remember something from a dream I had last night. I couldn't remember anything at all. It really frustrated me because I knew it was something important so I spent the next fifteen minutes until Rainbow woke up to try and remember. I didn't, and it was driving me insane! When Rainbow Dash woke up I told her of my dilemma, and her response was "It's just a dream so it was probably nothing Shy." As usuall I trusted her judgement. I suddenly remembered something. "Rainbow isn't it the exam day?" I asked Rainbow, and immediately her eyes went wide. "Oh buck!" sweared Rainbow as she jumped from her bunk down to the floor. I rolled my eyes, and grabbed my saddlebags before heading out the door. My POV Really they're making me take an exam on my first day here! The only good part about all of this was I had the same class with Flutters, and Rainbow. At least I had some friends in this bully infested school. I even made a list off all the bullies, and if they were in a group who was in that. I listed twenty jerks, and five groups within that. There was a knock at the door so I put my list in my hoodie pocket, and opened it to find Fluttershy standing in the hall absolutely shaken. "You okay Shy?" I asked, but I knew she wasn't. "No I'm terrible!" said the filly on the verge of tears. "Hey hey it's okay what's wrong?" I asked trying to calm her down. "A bunch of bullies were picking on me, and short stories short Rainbow is racing both of our honor on the line." said Fluttershy tears now visible in her eyes. "It's okay Shy nothing bad is gonna happen. Rainbow will win, and those bullies won't ever pick on you ever again! You hear?" I said it took a moment but she nodded in agreement. Free falling Fluttershy's POV Things were not fine while Gage couldn't of foreseen my fall he did promise nothing bad would happen, and I admit at the time I was blaming him. I was screaming at the top of my lungs as I plummeted twords a small clearing below me. I opened my eyes for a moment, and looked above me, and saw Gage also plummeting twords me trying to use his wings, but failing. I knew that feeling it was the same problem I was having my wings refused to open, and I was stuck in free fall Gage close behind me. "HOW DO YOU USE THEESE THINGS?" yelled Gage as he neared me I assumed he meant his wings. I was going to try, and assist him, but my voice didn't want to work. "WELL WERE SCREWED!" he yelled. I just whimpered, and decided to look behind me to the clearing. It used to be several miles below me it was now only a mile away, and I was quickly approaching. My Freaking POV I am gonna die! Is what was going through my mind as I plummeted to the ground right next to Fluttershy. I knew she would be okay due to me watching almost every episode of MLP, but me I had no clue, but if I were to survive I would probably get injured in a incredibly hilarious way. I was right as Flutters landed softly on a cloud of butterflies I fell through a tree continuously hitting my face, back, and nuts on branches as I fell it hurt. Eventually I landed sore on the ground Fluttershy standing above me a concerned look on her face. Fluttershy's POV Almost as soon as I reached Gage he passed out. Also if you didn't know in that break were I dissapeared in the story I had calmed a horde of animals, and gotten my cutiemark it consisted of three pink butterflies. Back to the topic of the now unconsious colt I was very worried for him he just fell several hundred feet, and even though the tree slowed his decent I didn't doubt it hurt a lot. After a few minute I convinced a bear I met to help me carry Gage to a town I saw in the distance little did I know at the time that town I would come to know, and love in the years to come. Chapter 3Fluttershy's POV I kept calling for help, but no-pony came I guess the bear scared them off. "Please please help." I pleaded again looking at a small group of ponies in this sweets shop. The red one whispered something to the one next to him, but made no move to help. Now that I thank about it that stallion looked a lot like Gage almost identical I would say if the age gap wasn't so big. "Oh mah what happened to that feller?" asked a small earth pony filly she wore a Stetson atop her blonde mane. "Looks like he fell from a tree....okay I'm just sugar coating it he needs medical treatment now. Follow me yah here." said the filly I wasn't arguing so I told Mr. Bear to follow the filly, and I just fluttered by him watching this colt who nearly killed himself to try, and save her. He didn't seem the brave type, but that didn't stop him. Looking at him now I wish he hadn't for I was fine while he was bloodied, bruised, and I would bet had plenty of broken bones, and his left wing was bent at a funny angle. "Please be okay." I said quietly to Gage as I examined him some more. "Definitely broken ribs, a snapped wing this is bad." I said clearly this filly heard me. "That bad huh?" she asked I simply nodded "then we better pick up the pace.", and so the filly had Mr. Bear place Gage on her back, and she took off me following as best as I could. My POV Guest Room My entire body BUCKING HURT! I guess falling several hundred miles onto a tree will do that I'm just surprised I didn't die I mean I fell from the freaking cloud line! Anyway my obvious pain aside when I had finally woken up I was in a small bed in a small room, and I was starving! "Shy?" I croaked looking around for the filly only to find her curled up in a chair that was pressed up against the far wall. My bandages, and casts made it difficult to sit up, but I managed. "Were are we?" I asked awaking the filly well startling is a better term because she jumped straight up with a 'eep!' when she heard me. She quickly calmed down when she found out I was the one making the noise. "Oh Celestia your okay! I was worried you wouldn't make it, but you did, and then Apple...." I cut her off. "How am I alive?" I asked. Seriously how was I? I just made the dumb choice to jump off Cloudsdale after her forgetting about how she survives fine (and forgetting that I have absolutely no clue how to fly). "Ah dun know pardner." said a filly version of Applejack she had just walked (well trotted) in a plate of food on her back consisting mostly of apples and apple related food stuff. And I hate apples I thought, but I guess I'd have to eat them if I was a pony. "Thanks." I said as she sat the plate next to me on the bed. Now that I was in pain.....in a place I've never been I missed my mom. Now before you say I'm a big baby just know that I don't care I'm a mommas boy to the core. "What's wrong?" Fluttershy asked quietly, and I noticed I began to cry a bit. "Oh nothing" I lied. "Ah can tell your lying." said FillyJack (love that title) giving me an annoyed look. DARN YOU ELEMENT OF HONESTY....FUTURE ELEMENT OF HONESTY!?! "If he doesn't want to say he doesn't have to....if that's okay." said Fluttershy. "It's okay Shy" I said, and I then explained about what was troubling me. "Well why didn't yah say so?" said AppleFilly (OH CELESTIA MY SIDES) "Just tell us were yah came from, and well try our darndness to help yah get home yah hear?" taking charge, and acting on her own initiative just like Non-FillyJack. "You can't really do anything unless you have a portal to another relm." they looked at me funny "what I'm not from your world I got proofed in to help Flutters with a bully problem." I said gesturing with my hoof to the filly now siting on the side of the bed to my right. "Your crazy." said the MeanyAppleFilly looking at me as if I was you know....crazy which I'm not denying I might be, but I was telling the truth. "But I'm not lying you can tell can't you?" I asked as the pain from my wounds dissapeared at a moments notice AppleFilly must've put painkiller in my food, and man is that stuff strong! I thought to myself looking at the soup I was eating. (At least it wasn't Apple soup). "It sounds like yah aren't, but you must it's just....to unreal. You sure you didn't hit your head?" she asked rather rudely, but I let it slide for 3rd best pony. "Umm I belive you...." said Fluttershy (she's 1st best pony). "Why exactly do you belive him?" asked Apple Jack (or AppleFilly). "I may have only known him for a day, but he's given me no reason to distrust him." she said head held high. "Thank you Shy!" I said, and than gave her a friendly hug, and she was blushing. "Your welcome anything for a friend." said the shy filly before her, and the farm filly left me to rest up, and boy was I tired!

"HOW DO YOU USE THEESE THINGS?" yelled Gage as he neared me I assumed he meant his wings. I was going to try, and assist him, but my voice didn't want to work. "WELL WERE SCREWED!" he yelled. I just whimpered, and decided to look behind me to the clearing. It used to be several miles below me it was now only a mile away, and I was quickly approaching. My Freaking POV I am gonna die! Is what was going through my mind as I plummeted to the ground right next to Fluttershy. I knew she would be okay due to me watching almost every episode of MLP, but me I had no clue, but if I were to survive I would probably get injured in a incredibly hilarious way. I was right as Flutters landed softly on a cloud of butterflies I fell through a tree continuously hitting my face, back, and nuts on branches as I fell it hurt. Eventually I landed sore on the ground Fluttershy standing above me a concerned look on her face. Fluttershy's POV Almost as soon as I reached Gage he passed out. Also if you didn't know in that break were I dissapeared in the story I had calmed a horde of animals, and gotten my cutiemark it consisted of three pink butterflies. Back to the topic of the now unconsious colt I was very worried for him he just fell several hundred feet, and even though the tree slowed his decent I didn't doubt it hurt a lot. After a few minute I convinced a bear I met to help me carry Gage to a town I saw in the distance little did I know at the time that town I would come to know, and love in the years to come.
Chapter 3Fluttershy's POV I kept calling for help, but no-pony came I guess the bear scared them off. "Please please help." I pleaded again looking at a small group of ponies in this sweets shop. The red one whispered something to the one next to him, but made no move to help. Now that I thank about it that stallion looked a lot like Gage almost identical I would say if the age gap wasn't so big. "Oh mah what happened to that feller?" asked a small earth pony filly she wore a Stetson atop her blonde mane. "Looks like he fell from a tree....okay I'm just sugar coating it he needs medical treatment now. Follow me yah here." said the filly I wasn't arguing so I told Mr. Bear to follow the filly, and I just fluttered by him watching this colt who nearly killed himself to try, and save her. He didn't seem the brave type, but that didn't stop him. Looking at him now I wish he hadn't for I was fine while he was bloodied, bruised, and I would bet had plenty of broken bones, and his left wing was bent at a funny angle. "Please be okay." I said quietly to Gage as I examined him some more. "Definitely broken ribs, a snapped wing this is bad." I said clearly this filly heard me. "That bad huh?" she asked I simply nodded "then we better pick up the pace.", and so the filly had Mr. Bear place Gage on her back, and she took off me following as best as I could. My POV Guest Room My entire body BUCKING HURT! I guess falling several hundred miles onto a tree will do that I'm just surprised I didn't die I mean I fell from the freaking cloud line! Anyway my obvious pain aside when I had finally woken up I was in a small bed in a small room, and I was starving! "Shy?" I croaked looking around for the filly only to find her curled up in a chair that was pressed up against the far wall. My bandages, and casts made it difficult to sit up, but I managed. "Were are we?" I asked awaking the filly well startling is a better term because she jumped straight up with a 'eep!' when she heard me. She quickly calmed down when she found out I was the one making the noise. "Oh Celestia your okay! I was worried you wouldn't make it, but you did, and then Apple...." I cut her off. "How am I alive?" I asked. Seriously how was I? I just made the dumb choice to jump off Cloudsdale after her forgetting about how she survives fine (and forgetting that I have absolutely no clue how to fly). "Ah dun know pardner." said a filly version of Applejack she had just walked (well trotted) in a plate of food on her back consisting mostly of apples and apple related food stuff. And I hate apples I thought, but I guess I'd have to eat them if I was a pony. "Thanks." I said as she sat the plate next to me on the bed. Now that I was in pain.....in a place I've never been I missed my mom. Now before you say I'm a big baby just know that I don't care I'm a mommas boy to the core. "What's wrong?" Fluttershy asked quietly, and I noticed I began to cry a bit. "Oh nothing" I lied. "Ah can tell your lying." said FillyJack (love that title) giving me an annoyed look. DARN YOU ELEMENT OF HONESTY....FUTURE ELEMENT OF HONESTY!?! "If he doesn't want to say he doesn't have to....if that's okay." said Fluttershy. "It's okay Shy" I said, and I then explained about what was troubling me. "Well why didn't yah say so?" said AppleFilly (OH CELESTIA MY SIDES) "Just tell us were yah came from, and well try our darndness to help yah get home yah hear?" taking charge, and acting on her own initiative just like Non-FillyJack. "You can't really do anything unless you have a portal to another relm." they looked at me funny "what I'm not from your world I got proofed in to help Flutters with a bully problem." I said gesturing with my hoof to the filly now siting on the side of the bed to my right. "Your crazy." said the MeanyAppleFilly looking at me as if I was you know....crazy which I'm not denying I might be, but I was telling the truth. "But I'm not lying you can tell can't you?" I asked as the pain from my wounds dissapeared at a moments notice AppleFilly must've put painkiller in my food, and man is that stuff strong! I thought to myself looking at the soup I was eating. (At least it wasn't Apple soup). "It sounds like yah aren't, but you must it's just....to unreal. You sure you didn't hit your head?" she asked rather rudely, but I let it slide for 3rd best pony. "Umm I belive you...." said Fluttershy (she's 1st best pony). "Why exactly do you belive him?" asked Apple Jack (or AppleFilly). "I may have only known him for a day, but he's given me no reason to distrust him." she said head held high. "Thank you Shy!" I said, and than gave her a friendly hug, and she was blushing. "Your welcome anything for a friend." said the shy filly before her, and the farm filly left me to rest up, and boy was I tired!
