Chapters Nightguard Juno, chapter 2
Juno cantered trough Ponyville, with Twirl next to her. "I've got one idea, we could sell lemonade?"
Twirl giggled knowing Juno really ment it. "Hihi, that would take days to get all the money. are you sure?"
Juno gave him a heavy nod. "Yes I am! maybe we are very good with creating lemonade.." She smiled. "Alright enough chitchats, lets go to my house, and make some lemonade." She commanded Twirl.
He looked at the motivating filly. "Okidoki!" Twirl said while he smiled.
So the two little foals galloped towards Juno's house.
"Okay stay quiet, I have no idea if my mom is home. I'm supposed to be at school." Juno whispered to Twirl, while she peeked trough the hallway and quietly trotted over to the livingroom. "hmm, no mom." she grabbed Twirls hoof and pulled him with her to the kitchen. "and no mom here, we're safe." Juno chuckled.
Twirl looked in a few cupboards. "you do have lemons right?" he asked.
"Afcourse I've got them, Twirl!" She shaked Twirl around. "how could we ever make lemonade without lemons?"
Twirl blinked twice at the some what focussed little filly. "ohw, sorry. You really want to go to Canterlot, do you?" He giggled.
Juno glared over to him, while she grabbed a bucket filled with lemons.
Twirl looked away. "ehm, never mind."
Juno was cutting some lemons, preparing for pressing. "Twirl, can you bring me the bag of sugar please?" Juno pointed to the corner of the kitchen.
Twirl looked over and saw a big bag of Sugar. "ehm, sure. heheh." He mumbled, while he caried the heavy bag towards the kitchen table.
Juno was almost done with the lemons, but when she sliced the last one a few drips of lemon flew streight into her eyes.
O.O "AAahh! it's in my eyes."Juno cantered towards the sink and tried to wash her face.
Twirl placed the big bag of sugar next to the bowl filled with lemonjuice. the bag fell and dropped alot of sugar in the bowl. Twirl didn't notice because Juno was taking all the attention. She took her place in the kitchen with Twirl and made the lemonade ready for serving.
After the whole drama happened. Juno and Twirl were outside sitting behind a lemonadestand.
"So, and now wait till ponies pass by." said Juno with a little smile upon her face.
Twirl leaned back in the little foldable-chair. "I don't see... SShhtt!" Juno broke Twirls sentence and pointed at a pony.
The blue-coated pony, Thunderstorm, their P.E. teacher, came closer and looked at the two foals. "Good afternoon little ponies! are you two selling lemonade? wow." he was expressing his emotions towards the two foals pretty good, like every adult pony would do. Juno grinned and knew the pony would buy one glass, if she acted very cute.
so she pouted her lower lip and made puppy eyes. "Sir would you please buy some of our fantastic lemonade?" Blink blink.~
Thunderstorm couldn't say no to that face, so he nodded and bought one glass of lemonade. sip.~ o.o "...Wow, this is amazing! it's wonderfull! really!" he beamed. "I've got to tell this to everypony!" He galloped to random other ponies and told them they've got to buy one glass too. "try it, it really is fantastc!"
The random ponies were galloping towards the lemonade-stand and they all bought a glass. "impressive, wow, delicious" sounded from every corner in the crowd of ponies. and after a few hours Juno and Twirl had enough bits to buy 5 traintickets.
"Oh my Twirl do you know what this means, we can go to Canterlot!" Juno beams.
Twirl smiled at her. "But what exactly do you want to do right there?"
Juno looked over to him. "ehh I want to become a nightguard, duhh."
Twirl's smile faded a bit. "but what if you're to young?"
Juno chuckled. "I am not to young, everypony can make their dreams come true. and I am a huge dreamer." she wiggled and looked at her cutiemark. "I've got this one for playing games and taking risks.
Well if going to canterlot, and hoping to become a nightguard isn't a risk... I have no idea what else." she giggled.
Twirl nodded. "you always can give it a try." He said softly.
Juno smiled and trotted towards her calendar. "shall we go this weekend?" She knew, Twirl knew the princess pretty well, and could send her a letter, to ask her for an audience.
Twirl loves singing, and got his cutiemark for it. He sang once for the princess. "Well I've got nothing to do, and this sounds very fun!"
Juno smiled at what she heared, and hugged Twirl. "Yay Thank-you, very much!" she giggled.
Nightguard Juno, chapter 3
Juno and Twirl continue their journeigh to canterlot. They just found a good spot in the train, to take a seat, after they've bought the traintickets. The train was ready to leave the station and track down the rails towards Canterlot. The two foals were very excited and couldn't wait for them to arrive.
"Oh Twirl, I am so happy you've send the princess a letter about all this!" Juno said moving her legs up and down, while she was sitting on the green, waggon bench.
Twirl gave her a smile, he was very happy for Juno. "Now you just have to tell the princess, age doesn't matters." He giggled at Juno.
"Ugh, I am not that young. I can handle alot by myself." The little filly pouted her lower lip with a frown, wich made Twirl laugh a bit.
"Hih, yeah how could I forgot that!?" He chuckled softly, when he looked out of the window.
Juno leaned forward, so she also could take a peek. The window looked like a huge projector, the trees were passing by fast, and the little houses moved on quickly. It was kinda funny to watch it.
Twirl broke the silence, as he pointed to a huge mountain with a castle on top of it. "Hey, you see that?" He asked with a grin.
Juno smiled brightly and shouted. "Canterlot!"
Some of the other travelling ponies looked up at Juno. She could read their thoughts of their faces; stay quiet.
Juno grinned awkwardly and looked back towards the window, wich came closer to the mountain every single second. She made herself ready for the huge climb upwards. The mountain was pretty steep after all.
The train moved faster down the road, or we'll could better say up the road. It took alot of energie to speed up the connection rods of the train. but it worked, they were driving up to the most beautiful castle they had ever seen: Canterlot. The train was circling around the mountain to climb up, it braked with a shrill sound, when they arrived.
The doors opened and a whole crowd of ponies left the trian, and between the crowd there wher two little foals. It was funny to see two little ponies between such a crowd of adults.
"So, Twirly!" Juno came with an easy nickname. "You said you knew a good place to stay?" She said while she grabbed two suitcases out of the trunk. one was hers and other was Twirl's.
He nodded and with a grin. "yep, I know a great hotel at the end of this street." Twirl pointed at one of the many streets in Canterlot and giggled.
Juno and Twirl arrived at the hotel with their little suitcases, and the piccolo helped them with their room. He reached his hoof for a tip... Twirl gave him a high hoof and closed the door.
"Hahaha, ahw Twirl." Juno giggled putting her suitcase on the bed.
Twirl tilted his head. "what, I just gave him a high hoof."
Juno smiled. "Lets go to the princess!" She galloped towards the door, but Twirl stopped her.
"I think we could wait a few minutes, we just arrived." He frowned slightly.
Juno pouted. "Alright, if we really have to wait..." She was having an idea again, a light bulb peared up above her head. "We could better take something to eat, hihi."
She opened her suitcase and grabbed two bags with muffins.
Twirl widened his eyes and soared at Juno. "May I have?.." He asked with puppy eyes.
"afcourse you may, Twirl." She chuckled. "why else would I take them with me? it would be very mean to eat them all infront of you." She gave him one bag and took the other one for herself.
And together they nommed on the muffins.
Nightguard Juno
It’s a very sunny, morning today in Ponyville. some of the many ponies in Ponyville are still trying to wake up, others are outside being happy, and spending their day with each other. But one pony doesn’t try to wake up.
“Juno it’s Monday, wake up, it’s time for school!” you could hear a clear, and mare-like voice yelling trough the wooden house. The little filly got up, drowsy and sleepy, she opened her eyes.
“ugh, I wish it was Saturday again.” Juno got out of bed, trotted downstairs, ready to have some nice, delicious breakfast.
“hey dear, how did you sleep?” Juno’s mother asked curious.
Juno twisted her spoon in the bowl of cereal and milk. “good.” she answered quickly trying to avoid a whole conversation.
Her mom knew Juno just wanted to be alone. but her mom, sometimes wanted to talk with her for a change. “well, it doesn’t sound like you’re sure about it. Something wrong?" She asked.
Juno looked up. “I am fine, really! I just don’t want to go to school.” She frowned. "You know I don't like mondays. and especially not in the schoolhouse." made juno herself clear.
Her mom frowned a bit after what her foal said. “I should go to school if I were you. you don’t want to stay a little longer in this grade, right?” Her mom smiled, took her finished plate with her and trotted away from the table towards the kitchen.
Juno ate her breakfast, and made herself ready for school. Brushing teeth taking a shower, all those sorts of things. Juno grabbed her bag and trotted to the door “Bye mom, I’m off to school!”
She trotted outside and felt the sun was shinning upon her face. Juno pulled the door, and shut it behind her. "it only takes a few minutes to trot towards the schoolhouse." thought Juno and She cantered down the sandy paths of Ponyville, with her little saddlebag.
“Hey Juno!” She looks up trying to notice the direction where her name came from. Juno looks around, there aren't alot of ponies in the morning. but there were enough, to become confused.
A red coated foal with a darkred mane and purple extensions trotted towards her. “Wait for me!” He shouted. His name is Twirl, a good friend of Juno.
“today arts and crafts, I am so excited.” Twirl told her with a huge smile on his face. But Juno only was looking forward, at the path towards the schoolhouse. “Okay, I know it is monday but you at least can act like it’s Friday, right?” he asked Juno gently, trying to catch her face.
She turned her head towards him when they were getting closer to the schoolhouse, and grinned. “Alright I will give it a try.” Twirl smilled at her, and together they galloped into the schoolhouse.
Juno placed her saddlebag next to her desk and took a seat. She looked at Twirl, after he just dropped his saddlebag on the ground and smiled at her. "can that pony actually cry?" Juno tought after seeing him smile the whole entired day.
“Goodmorning class, arts and crafts today, you all have to make something you like, something that inspires you. and may help you with your future.” told Cheerilee filling the class with happiness.
Juno smiled and has got a great idea. She trotted towards the boxes filled with paper and pencils. after she got back, Twirl stood next to her.
“What are you going to draw?” He asked Juno.
“something…” She answered quickly.
“alright then.” Twirl tilted his head and trotted further towards his desk.
After a while Juno was done with her drawing, and smiled upon it, Cheerilee said something shocking. “Okay class I want you all to show it to the class and tell why you’ve made it.” told Cheerilee.
Juno freezed in her own little chair. She is always extremely nervous for this sort of things. or whatever you may call it: Stagefright. that's the only fright she's got.
“Show it!?” Juno screamed in her own head.
“All right, Silver Spoon you're first.” Cheerilee commanded.
Juno eyetwitched a bit, knewing a lot of ponies would look at her. “almost my turn, neigh.” She mumbled to herself and cantered in circles around her desk. "keep it cool, Juni. No need to freak out." the clock was ticking very fast and the minutes were passing by quickly. "noo-hoo." It was almost time for Juno to take her place infront of the classroom.
“Alright Juno, your turn.” Cheerilee smiled at the little vanilla-coated filly. Juno got up, grabbed her painting and took her place infront of gulp~ everypony. She already started to sweat.
“ehrm, I drew this.. ehm p-painting. ehr. because I-I want to become a Nightguard, i-in canterlot.” Juno was like nailed to the ground. Twirl smiled at her, as always. But the other ponies giggled and chuckled. “Wh- what’s wrong?” Juno asked the now-laughing class.
“You, a nightguard? you not even look like a night guard.” Diamond Tiara answered, followed by Silver Spoon.
“I think she better could take a job in the post office.” Silver Spoon giggled.
“Oh, come on class I bet she’ll be a greatnight guard.” said Cheerilee trying to stop the laughter. "Why must you all act so childish?" Cheerilee trotted towards a few ponies to hush them.
Juno could curl up like a tiny ball and hide under her desk, but she didn't. She wasn't afraid of her classmates. the words they said, really damaged her own motivation to become a nightguard. She stared at her painting.. wich made her smile a bit. She painted herself besides Princess Luna, she used a lot of sparkles and it looked like a 'by little-filly created' drawing.
"Hey!" yelled Juno. "I am going to become a nightguard. no matter how long it takes." She grabbed her painting, trotted to her desk to take her saddle-bag with her and galloped out of the schoolhouse. The whole class jaw-dropped and watched Juno leave. But what chance could a filly out of Ponyville have, against a lot of staillons from Canterlot?
Juno was sitting at the edge of Ponyville lake. her eyes were full of tears, wich rolled down her cheeks. "I'll never go back to school." she sniffled. Juno looked into the water and noticed somepony was standing next to her, because the water reflected like a mirror. It was Twirl who tried to comfor the little filly. "well, I thought your painting was wonderfull!" He smiled brightly. Juno shook her head, she could cry for weeks but she knew that wouldn't help her.
But suddenly she's got the best idea of her whole short~ life! "Twirl, do you like train rides?" Juno asked him with a mischievous grin.
Twirl got a little scared of her grin, he nodded slightly. "great, because we're going to Canterlot!" Juno took a brave pose and smiled.
"and how exactly, do we get bits for the train tickets?" Twirl asked her with his head tilted, like only he could do.
Juno wided her eyes and looked frowning at the foal. "ehrm, yeah I uh.. Don't really know."
