Chapter 2 - Ghost Infestation

-o-o-o-o-o-o-(I STILL DON'T OWN THE SHOWS DANNY PHANTOM AND MY LITTLE PONY)

"Ugh...," that was seriously the second worst thing that could ever happen to me. I can't believe that I'm still alive after that long drop, but it doesn't matter to me anymore. It's what being alive that counts, even so I am grateful that the thermos hit my head or else Technus could have fried me up back there. Which by the way, where am I exactly?

I held out my hand and concentrated my ecto energy into it. My palm began to flicker a radiant yellow green light, my plan was obviously to shed some light in the room I was in. The light got brighter enough for me to see on where I was exactly, but only I wasn't in a room. Instead I was in a cell, with old  stone bricks surrounding the cell.

Did I accidentally took the fight above Vlad's castle?  And when I fell unconscious, I never realized that I went straight through his castle. Then his little GHOSTIES grabbed me and locked me up in the dungeon? Was that even possible? We were like miles away from him, and the fight only stood place at the park. Even if I was captured, he could just strapped me into one of his machines and he'll blurt out his plan again which totally never works.

Suddenly I heard a door creaked opened then it was slammed shut. I shut off the light, and quickly head towards the bars of my cell to inspect on who was coming in such a hurry. Possibly Vlad, but couldn't he just use his ghost powers and went intangible to get here? My suspicions went wrong when I heard cluttering hooves heading towards my cell. The dungeon was like a straight horizontal hallway of cells if I look above it.

Then I saw a vivid torch light, floating in mid air coming right towards. No one was holding the torch until it slowly approached me, was I going to see a real ghost? Nah! I could just scare it right off the bat once I revert back to my ghost form and whooped his butt.

I could finally see the figure, but it was walking on FOUR and the torch was magically floating right beside it. It wore a brown robe and had a really black horn coming out of the hood. It did not took long enough when I came face to face with the creature, strange that I didn't attacked it yet nor left my cell. Looks like I am more interested on what this creature was.

"Uhm...hi there!" I greeted.

But it didn't reply to my friendly greeting. "My name's Danny Fenton and I was just wondering on when could I leave?" I asked such a stupid question.

I was really curious on what kind of creature I was talking too, it was making my astronomical instincts to discover unique and rare species. It was not the talking type, it just kept silent for like 3 minutes. Did I say something wrong? Or does this mysterious creature doesn't know how to talk I mean it has got four hooves. Wait, Hooves!!

"THEE ART NOT THOU ALLOWED TO SPEAK TO THY PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT!! WE COMMAND THEE TO STAY BACK HEATHEN ONE!!" she yelled like the hugest speaker  got turned on to the highest volume possible.

It was apparently a female on the way she talks, but HOOVES!! was the only thing that kept on bothering me. I kind of wish that Vlad was the one coming after me but a big nope!

I slowly walked away from her as instructed. I wasn't quite sure on how far away was I supposed to be until I reached the end of my cell, but I can still be easily seen by her. This might be a good time to go who knows on what the creature might do to me even if I went ghost. I made a part of my hand intangible and was about to make it pass through the wall, but I got electrified when I touched it.

"Aah!! What was that!?" I cried.

I turned around and touched the wall, it showed a little yellow ripple surrounding my hand as I touched it. It was some sort of a ghost barrier, was the creature the one who set up this barrier?

"Verily thee thinks ye can escape thou easily," she lowered her voice at least.

But this kind of barrier is a bit weird, it doesn't look like a ghost barrier or the standardized one. It looks like a magic barrier, as far as I can tell magic does not exist. Come to think of it so does ghost, so does magic to?

"What do you want from me?" I asked.

"Don't act like a fool, it's no use to lie hither," she angrily said. Like I wasn't telling the truth. "Now tell me where are they?"

"I don't know what you're talking about!?" I replied.

Suddenly I saw her horn glowing, making me float up in the air without using my ghost power. She pulled me against the bars,

"Ow!! Huh?" I was able to see a part of her mouth and it looked more of a muzzle. Until finally she lifted her hood and there! I saw a dark blue unicorn with a black translucent mane glaring at me angrily.

"Do I need to repeat myself!? I swear I will disobey my sister and kill you instantly by ripping you apart piece by piece!!" What have I gotten myself into this time? I may have to wake up from this nightmare soon, I can't take randomly talking animals in this nightmare I'm having.

"Where is it!?" She loudly asked.

"For the last time, I don't know what your talking about!?" I replied.

"Then can you care explain on what the hay are you!?" Whelp, my suspicions were right this time. I somehow got transported into a place filled with magically talking horses. But the big HOW? appears, did I got teleported when I heard another explosion when fighting Technus? And wow I'm asking a lot of questions to myself.

"Looks like your universe doesn't know humans, huh?" I laughed a little at the end for no apparent reason. Maybe because I don't wanna die from a really gory death.

The unicorn was a bit shock when I she heard the word human, "I knew it that you humans will finally return!? For a thousand years has gone by and this is what I deserve after my punishment," she yelled. "I clearly deserve this," she muttered but I can hear her perfectly well.

"So wait, you know my species?" I asked.

"But of course, your existence was well written in our archives, but have been forgotten as time went on," so humans were known, but why do I feel that I did something wrong.

"Who would have known that your kind still exist? You must be put in a museum or in a storage facility for you will be tested and painfully ripped apart to see your insides," back to the goriness I suppose and does she really has to say the 'ripped apart' word.

"Hey! There's no way I would let you unicorns dissect my body and check everything that's on me!!" I cried for the heavens again to save me.

"Why not? It has been so long that we haven't seen a human before. Besides we haven't popped your flesh opened yet and checked your insides." she said. Did she just say? Nope I don't want to think about that.

"Look here, I just want to get out of here," I pleaded that she'll release me from my cell.

The unicorn's smile disappeared as she shakes her head, "Ahem," she cleared her throat. "Back to the subject, where have you hidden the Elements of Harmony?" She got back to being serious.

"The what now?" Okay she knows that humans exist, but does she know that I don't know a thing about these things. I can tell something happened when I passed out, I can feel it in my gut.

"Am I involved in some sort of pandemic? Cause whatever it is, I don't want to be in any part of this," I just wanted to go home. If I can even go back.

She sighed and told me, "Okay, since I just realized that you don't know on what the heck's going on. I guess I should tell you now, but please understand every bit of it, I don't want your tiny brain to explode after I'm done with this you must be preserved," she said.

Again with the dissecting thing, but at least I'll get some information.

"So let me get this straight, I am in the world of Equestria where equines or in our language ponies lived. And it's being co-ruled by you and your sister. Apparently you control the rising and setting of the moon and your sis' controls the rising and setting of the sun," I summarized the first half.

"You have been living peacefully until Discord came and cause a large destruction throughout the land by putting cotton candied clouds of raining chocolate milk, floating your houses upside down, and the animals gone rabid. And you need the Elements of Harmony to turn him back into a statue again?" that may have been the longest explanation I have ever given in my life. At least I know why they accused me of stealing them since I went pass through the chest containing the elements.

"Aye, that is the truth." she replied to my long hard summarized dialogue.

"I'm sorry, but still I was not the one who stole the Elements? I was falling from a certain feet and luckily I...used my magic to pass through the walls and accidentally went past through the chest as I dropped unconscious on the floor." I said, I was trying to say that I have magic instead of ghost powers. They might want to dissect me more to see how I tick.

"Oooh...I never thought you humans know how to do magic? I mean...ahem! Yes very lucky for you," she tried to hide the fact that she adores humans.

"But can I ask out of curiosity, can you humans really develop magic of going intangible? It's not a known spell in our universe," she asked.

Before I can even lie to her, the ground shaken like an earthquake. Releasing me from the unicorns grasp, and finally I was able to feel the floor again. But I wasn't free yet, I still have to get out of this place. And then...

BOOM!!

We heard a huge explosion above us, releasing dust from the ceiling. Then I heard an old voice that should have kept their mouth shut, "Come out Ghost Child!!" Technus cried.

Does he ever shut up? Like seriously for the second time, how did he even get out of the thermos? Clearly the unicorn heard that, I hope he doesn't think is me.

"Ghost Child!? What in Equestria is a ghost child?" she yelled.

BOOM!!

The unicorn dazed out from his questions and quickly ran towards upstairs, "Wait, don't fight him!!" I yelled as it echoed throughout the hall.

"Why, is he your accomplice?" she asked.

"No!  He's too much for you ponies to handle!!" I yelled back.

"Human, I think we can save my country by ourselves," I still believe that you can't!!

"No! You don't understand!" before she could even hear me, she already ran up the stairs. Nobody listen to me these days, so I guess this should be fine, right? Nevermind that! I have to get out of here, they can't fight Technus all by themselves. Who knows on what kind of technology his using against them?

"What is this!?" Technus cried, he just got out of the thermos and the only technology he can find were just the kitchen equipment. It was the biggest embarrassment in Technus after life, having an oven to shoot flames at the equines. The Lunch Lady will finally sue him for copyrighting her, it's a rule in the ghost zone.

"Rgh! You equines are still not in full incapacitated with technology and only manage to build ovens!!" He ordered the ovens to attack the guards surrounding Princess Celestia. But they weren't doing a good job right now, they are being fried to a pulp by the ovens. And Princess Celestia was having a hard time protecting the injured guards.

"Sis'!" Luna yelled, stupidly alerting the enemy. Technus shot a green fireball towards her, but managed to deflect it in time with her barrier. She ran towards her sister, still putting the barrier on her. She got over Celestia and saw her hooves reaching at their limit, looking really tired from the barrier she was holding up.

"Can you still manage?" She asked.

"Kind of, aah!!" another devastating attack made by Technus as he shot another fireball. Making Celestia more weaker, she can't concentrate on making the barrier anymore.

"Sister! Take cover, I'll deal with him."

"No...it's too dangerous..." Celestia almost fell, but Luna quickly held her up.

"You're in no shape to fight, let me handle this. You still have to help Twilight and her friends deal with Discord," she knew that this problem was minor and thought that she could handle it by herself.

"But..I,"

"Just GO!!" Luna shoved her sister and the guards out of the barrier, and down put her own. Technus still trying to process on where the ghost child was and how he got into this universe, giving Luna the chance to strike.

She concentrated at the tip of her horn, charging up the power from within. And then let it all out from her horn, releasing a huge dark ball hurling right towards him. It was a direct hit! Technus flew across the room as the impact was too great for him and it did some tremendous damage.

This made Technus angry as he recovered from the blast. He summoned the ovens and charged right at her. The ovens surrounded Luna's barrier and at the same time it breath green flame's coming out of it. Draining Luna's power level, dangerously low.

"Hah!" I fired one more ghost ray at the barrier, but still no luck of breaking it.

If I don't get out of here soon, that unicorn will be done for which hasn't left in my system that an imaginary animal came up from a little girl's mind exist. Back to the problem, from what I heard that her sister's name is Celestia and the crazy fan for humans, Luna was the one fighting Technus at the moment.

Suddenly I saw the barrier flickered, turning a little visible yellow barrier. Her power doesn't seem to last long to hold this barrier, and when it shuts down I'll quickly swoop in and land a very large hit on Techy. But does it also mean that she's...dead? No! no more of people dying scene or ponies dying, I gotta help them even if they like it or not!

The fight progressed as Luna tries to held the barrier while beating the juice out of Technus. They were on an evenly matched scale, making it more difficult for both of them to take the deadly blow. Technus had his fun but it was time for him to reveal his true form.

"You have fought well than the pony of wonder, let us see if you can take this thunder!!" he said, then immediately he raised his arms concentrating on summoning his ultimate weapon. He was trying to summon the last parts of his suit that was completely obliterated by Danny.

Luna did not know on what was Technus doing, she saw an opportunity to knock him down for good. She quickly flapped her wings open and dashed towards him. With just a blink of an eye, Technus got a part of his suit's glove and quickly landed a deadly punch on her. Throwing her back at the other end of the large hallway. Then finally the rest of his suit combined back on his body, but only to see his pants and a part of his chest armor survived Danny's attack.

Luna was held by the wall, in agony, "Augh..." she reached for her injured hoof and tried to ease the pain, it felt like a lot of stinging bees stung her for billions of times, "Aah!" she cried.

'Got to...stop him...' Luna was not giving up hope. There was one spell in her mind that she still can do to prevent Technus wrecking more havoc than what Discord have done.  She never thought this spell could be useful, the dismantle spell is a pretty tricky spell to conjure. The dismantling spell is the only spell that was used when taking apart their appliances when it was having jams or malfunctions. But it was never thought of its usage in this kind of situation.

She started to concentrate the spell in one point in her horn. Preparing for her ultimo attack!!

Technus was on his winning streak; for killing the most important princess in the universe and almost annhilate the one million reward child. All things were according to his plan but can all be ruined by one fatal mistake.

Technus charged with his fist straight towards Luna, who seems to be gathering his consciousness and power to just release one more attack.

"Say good-bye, Alicorn!!" Technus shouted. Was this the end for her?  One thousand years of banishment on the moon, thinking that she will die up there. But instead got killed by a cocky ghost who controls ovens will be the most embarrassing death in the history of Equestria. This was not the time to complain for her, she can still do this

WHAM!!

"Ragh!!" Technus got lunged into the air, then pummeled his back on the ground once again. Technus cried in pain,  then he got up and to see the attacker was the old ghost itself.

"Technus! What did I told you about leaving your thermos!?" Danny turned to his alter-ego, Danny Phantom. Looks like Luna's barrier broke up into pieces, giving Danny a chance to change and be able to do one more butt whooping for Technus.

Without warning, Luna released the spell, and as fate has it. It was heading straight towards Danny. The impact of the blast made Danny shout in pain, falling him back to the ground. As Luna opened her eyes, she saw that she had hit the wrong one. She tried to get up but her body won't allow her too. She blinked again, but her vision got blurry.  Then her eyes was starting to feel heavy each time Luna blinked. Until Luna drift to sleep, dropping her whole body onto the floor.

Seconds earlier, Danny gave up using his powers and started to break the barrier using his shoulders. Each hit on the barrier he shouted, realizing that it wasn't doing a thing. Danny was slowly giving up, until he was about to hit it one more time, the barrier disintegrated before he could even crashed into it. It was too late for him to stop, so he crashed onto the bars.

He got up from the crash and his shoulder sore from the impact, but it didn't matter since the barrier disappeared meant that Luna was about to die. He waved both of his arms upwards and shouted, "GOING GHOST!!" A white line appeared on his waist, going towards the different direction. Changing him back to Danny Phantom, he went intangible and immediately flew above his cell. And that's how I escaped, in full detail, I think?

Luna did not noticed the ghost in front of her, was he the one that saved me? No! she thought, cause ghosts were equines greatest enemies. Thinking he was his accomplice she fired the beam at him.

SHOOM!!

"Aah!!" It was a direct hit. Luna continue to fire the beam at him, but it's bad effects that it was slowly draining her stamina. Danny kept screaming in pain until he turned his back and saw that Luna was the one attacking him. With a little resistance from the pain, he shouted.

"No!! DON'T!! Augh!!" She kept on firing the beam, clearly not listening to whatever the ghost was saying. It was useless for Danny to go intangible, or even explain about his what's happening and about his powers. If this goes on, he'll seriously die for real this time

BAM!!

Technus quickly took the opportunity to smack Danny in the face for them to be even. Danny smacked on the floor real hard that it even left a crack on his impact. Luna immediately stopped firing once she noticed that he would attacked his own accomplice. She thought ghost help each other to kill her. Now she was at real lost on what's going on, then her body feels heavier by the second, leaving her vulnerable.

"Not bad for your first try, alicorn!!" He complimented her, Luna can't respond for she was out of breath from her spell.

"Leave...her out...of this," Danny demanded, he didn't want anyone get hurt this time. Technus saw that Danny was still up and moving. With his laser gun ready, he aimed it towards Danny.

He then shot multiple times, he quickly rolled away from the shots. Lucky for him, his ghostly wail maid his laser gun malfunction lighting it with fire. Technus screamed as the fire scorched his arm, he shake his hand off then he manage to remove it and tossed it outside. He was clearly running out of weapon, and he was not going to use appliances to kill him. That will be just plain ridiculous!

"Huh?" Danny felt something from his waist, he noticed the white line ran past through him. Changing him back to Danny Fenton, Luna saw the whole thing and it even confused her more. That the human he locked tight in the dungeon would be a ghost!! Danny stood up and checked every inch of his clothing and truth be told he changed back.

"What!? I didn't want to change back!!" he yelled.

"Well, ain't this my lucky day." Technus laughed at his failure for not doing a pro job at stopping him.

I know this is getting really lame, but Technus charged at him again. Danny didn't have time to think again, he was trying to figure out why he changed back. Danny felt something really hot coming out of his right hand, he knew this kind of feeling. He checked his hand, it was smoking and glowing green.

"Oh no!" He quickly aimed his hand away from him. Then all of a sudden, Danny shot his Ghost Beam unintentionally. Firing it through the wall. He did not charged up power for this kind of attack, but on the good side he drived his ghost beam towards Technus. Seconds before impact, Technus was easily and idiotically hit by the beam. Flying him back out of the castle through the window he smashed.

His ghost beam then diminished, he checked his hand again now it was just smoking. He then felt again something on his waist. This was getting weirder for him today, he just let the line do all the work since he can't control it. As the line pass through him, he re-checked his clothing again. Seeing his white gloves and white boots, but his jeans and white t-shirt was still there. His DP insignia was at the center of his clothes this time.

No time to find a reason for his transformation he quickly ran towards the broken stained glass. And by the time he reached the spot where Technus fell, he was gone. "This day get's freakier and freakier each day," he said to himself.

How did he even escaped? Was the question in Danny's head, the first thing he can do to escape from the thermos is by opening the lid and pressing the release button that was recently installed. His friends added that feature but Tucker was the one who updated the gadget. It's purpose is when Jazz joins their ghost hunting again and when they see a ghost, Jazz will suck it in the thermos. But she was not the best at sucking the ghost in it, instead she accidentally sucked Danny in it which takes a long time for him to get out.

"Now that I thought about it, where is the thermos?" he asked himself.

He turned around and swiftly searched the thermos before Technus came back. He checked under the broken debris to see if it was stuck under it. Until he saw something sparkle right next to him. He quickly uncovered the thing under the debris, and thank the heavens it was his thermos.

THONK! THONK...

He heard something fell near him, he turned around his back and saw a black and sphere looking pin ball, beeping red. Then it started to beep really fast, he already know what it was. He can't go intangible so this might hurt a lot.

BOOM!!

"GRAH!!" he yelled as he was blasted across the hall. The blast let him loose the thermos again. He was against the wall, his torned and scorched clothes exposed his left shoulder. He had a lot of bruises under his clothes because of the blast. Danny looked to his right and saw Luna was beside him, trying to open her eyes. She must have woken up from the bomb's blast.

Technus popped out from the ceiling, "Haha! I can't believe that you were such a fool to let me go! Are you underestimating me, Danny boy!?" He mocked him again, that's what he does each time he speaks.

"Let's see if you still underestimate my new power!" a laser cannon appeared from his suits back. It began to glow and charge green, he knew that this big of a weapon could even reach Luna and kill them both. He turned to Luna too see that she was in no condition to get unstuck out of the fallen debris and dodge the attack. Danny still has to perform his duties as the hero of Amity Park in this universe. So he rapidly grabbed Luna's hoof and pulled her out of a piece of the broken wall she was crushed under.

It was a slow motion as Technus fired the beam in high speed. Danny gave all his strength to roll themselves together to get out of the range. Luna was surprised by the sudden tugged Danny made, she saw the beam heading right towards her as she was lifted in the air.

KA-BOOM!!

Danny and Luna stumbled into each other as the blast of wave pushed them towards the other side. By the time they stopped, Danny was on laying on top off Luna. She blushed a little and very confused. As Danny opened his eyes, he stood up and tried eased the pain on his head. He blinked to see the confused alicorn, "Why?" She asked.

"Why would you protect me?" She explained further. Luna can't seem to keep the question for long, she really has to ask him that simple question that she needs to be answered.

"Well, considering that you're going to dissect my insides out of me," he started. "I have to save you since I was the one that brought him here and I swear an oath to someone that I should use these powers for good."

"Powers?" She asked. Luna was still unclear with the whole ghost thing, so Danny just smiled and said, "I'll tell you later, but right now..."

He slowly turned around and glare at Technus, "I have  to kick this guy down," look at him, trying to be cool and all.

Technus started to laugh uncontrollably after what Danny said, "Who would think that you would help such a pathetic creature!?"

"Technus, could you just shut up and let's get this over with?" Danny never looked so serious before that he wanted to skip the conversation with Techy.

"How!? You can't even control you're powers anymore!" he shouted.

"Since when did you ask me questions like that? Well then I'll show you what I can do." with the statement done he ran towards him. Technus was mad angry for doing such irrational behavior, he blasts all his last weapons on him. Danny dodged each one of them, his superhuman abilities was still with him.

He reached out his hand, and quickly jumped towards the thermos. Technus flinched to see Danny below him, he was trying to grab the thing that would lose his chance forever. Technus pointed and the canon on where he'll fly over by.

BAM!!

Lasers and canons galore day!! Danny instantly got hit by Techy again for the 5th time. Danny's clothes is really torn up on each blast he took from Technus, but soon it will all be over. He skidded against the floor from the blast, as his body was smoking out. Danny came to a halt, kneeling down in front of Technus. He floated over him approached him, "Say good-bye for real this time!! Ghost CHILD!!" he charged the beam for one last attack.

Danny held the thermos, "Not this TIME!!" he pressed the button. "WHAT!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo..."

He yelled as he was sucked back again in the thermos. Poor jerk, hehe...anyways Danny quickly close the lid.

WHAM!!

Danny flinched towards the noise, he seek the source and saw a white unicorn with wings looking very injured flying towards Luna. 'She must be Celestia, and did Technus said that they were called alicorns?' Danny thought to himself.

"Luna!! Are you okay!?" She cried out to her.

'Clearly she was not okay, I'm not sure what kind of relationship they have but I believe that they're sisters or something,' he thought.

She held her on her hooves and tried to listen for a pulse. Danny slowly approached her to explain what happened earlier. Each step he staggered, who wouldn't be tired after that. After all, Danny has already gone through this kind of thing everyday.

Celestia turned to see Danny, with a glare she immediately charged her horn, "GET AWAY FROM HER!!" She yelled.

"Woah, woah, why's your horn glowing?" Danny said, as he slowly walked back.

Celestia growled at him, it's like his the one at fault. She barged in the wrong time and place. He tried to explain what happened and why Luna was in that condition. But the more he talks the more she threatened him.

"Listen, I am not the one at fault here. You're misunderstood..." Danny tried to explain.

"NO MORE LIES!! YOU HUMANS HAVE CAUSED HAVOC HERE LONG ENOUGH!!" Celestia yelled in her royal Canterlot voice. She was fed up with Danny's horrid truths, Celestia released the beam and quite frankly she is the Princess of the Day so her attacks are quite deadly.

At her whim, she fired and Danny was out of luck from now onwards. Then...

BWAHM!!

'I promise this to you guys, I freaking hate laser beams right now.'  he screamed in his head out loud. The beam led him cornered by the wall. Then Celestia put some extra juice on the beam, making Danny push through an inch at the the wall. Every second of it was awful, it was no point for him to explain anymore.

"No...please...stop..." what did I just told you Danny. Anyway, Celestia finally let out her remaining energy to destroy the human which she clearly misunderstood. Danny didn't even know why he was still alive. Until, Danny got through and was thrown out of the palace.

Danny was completely shirtless as he was flown above the clouds, he never felt his body so light before. He didn't have time to check his view of death or even save himself. Was this definitely it for him? Each time he blinked his eyes; gets heavier and heavier.

With his blurry vision he reached out his hands, to see them turn light blue. He became intangible AGAIN, for no apparent reason. The spell was still affecting him.

'I can't feel...anything..." he said, quite softly.

He was thrown like a baseball by Celestia and was about to fall quite a feet. How could he survive that? He does not know; his currently went through the tress branches. But as fate would have it someone saved his life that would change everything that he holds dear.

"Lost again..." she sighed. "I really am a pathetic one am I?"

With little of his energy left, he tried to find the source of the distant voice. He saw a gray pegasus with yellow mane directly below him.
