"Friendship Never Changes…"
In the far future of another Earth, humanity recovered from the devastating effects of World War 3. It lasted for 10 years from 2050 to 2060. Humanity formed the United Nations International Earth Alliance Federation, or the UN-IEAF, to prevent destruction again. After a brief period of recovery for another 10 years, things changed on July 4th, 2070 as a barrier of magic emerged in the Mid-Atlantic. Equestria arrived on Earth with unknown intentions and had peace offerings including a gift of rebirth for humanity; conversion into a pony. Equestria ponies and humanity had a two year peace. Both species grew and learned from one another. Many humans flocked to the gift of conversion.

Conversion centers were constructed with that exact purpose. Peace started to deteriorate in the beginning of 2072. The Ponification for Earth's Rebirth, or PER, the most notable terrorist group was force converting humans. Humanity reacted with outrage against Equestria's support for them. Equestria and humanity declared war on December 21st 2072.

Three years passed with sieges and battles across Earth as the barrier consumed parts of the ocean. The European Alliance is on the verge of collapse but resistance in the European Nations have one goal: evacuation to The Americas, the last strongholds of the IEAF. This is the tale of Lyra, Bon Bon, a human soldier, and two human children.

United Nations HQ, IEAF Complex; United States, New York, New York City

Jets screaming in the air...

Lyra took note by using her sensitive equine ears. With exhaustion, annoyance, and screams of death, she has sat on a wooden chair for, what, 5 hours?

No more war please...just make it end... her exhausted consciousness kept repeating.

Her aches, her pain, contributed to the dramatic sweat dripping from a trail on her cheek and her weariness of the war. Stress and war took its toll on this precious unicorn. She sat in a desk of a white office facing a window. Her desk is simple. Wooden, one of the many other desks in the complex and drawers on each side with a notepad for writing notes. The desk faced a plane rectangle window of the United Nations building. On the desk is a simple setup that is seen throughout the building. A Windows laptop, hers having a keyboard hoof compatible attachment with a mouse.

From the left area of the desk, a picture of her mare friend. Bon Bon, an earth pony who Lyra loved dear. On the right area, an embedded symbol of the IEAF logo. The logo stood out, proud with colors. Her desk is what kept her calm during the war years. Years after being this "background" individual among society, deep with no character, she felt the desk symbolized her as part of a collective of importance.

She is determined to help the IEAF. Determined to defeat Equestria, her home country from harming innocent humans. Equestria, a land of harmony, now war. It drove her mad to help humanity, being the first ambassador since the Emergence.

Her organization is the EHL, Equines for Human Life, an ally of the IEAF. She knew it is a matter of time. A matter of time being Equestria able to overthrow the remaining of Europe, and the European Alliance. She knew humanity already issued acts to exterminate ponies and horses originally on Earth, viewing them a threat, but now her own species, Equestrian ponies. She wants the EFH to prove that they won’t tolerate Princess Celestia's orders, that they are not monsters.

The EFH is composed of Griffins, Changelings, and other species besides Equestrian Ponies. They have also been fighting since the war happened.

Lyra despised the Equestrian-Human War. Ever since it began and despised the actions of Equestria before the War even started.

The Arrival…The Emergence…The Peace…The Lies…The Bureaus…The PER!...The Conversion Serum…The PER!...The fake promises…THE PER!

PER is made of humans and ponies who viewed he human race as impure to live. They used the conversion serum to convert humanity against its will. Lyra viewed them as the cause of the war and the emergence of the HLF, a terrorist group of humans who hated anything from Equestria, and wants them out. Both PER and the HLF are enemies of the IEAF and humanity. From terrorism, the HLF kills people who support Equines, and neutral Equines themselves. From conversion, the PER converts innocent humans, even children.

What made Lyra sick is that Equestria’s rulers hated the HLF, but gradually decided to support PER. Princess Celestia even made speeches of racial impurity, of converting a species to “help” them, to force converting all of humanity to “keep Equestria safe”. The barrier grows, consuming human lands, originally thought to be a safeguard, now a weapon of mass destruction that threatens the core of humanity. The Battle of First Conversion, took place all over the world, new foals suddenly converting humans, friends, family. The IEAF has closed most Bureaus, but some still run in areas the IEAF can’t touch, ones that make weapons of conversion.

The Conversion Project and the Bureaus is not meant for this. To purify humanity of sins? It’s not the Equestrian way!

She started to speak out against Celestia which earned her exile from Equestria with her followers and family. The war has lasted for two years and the Europe Alliance is staggering to a collapse. The IEAF is failing to gain ground. Many humans were converted or killed. Equestria’s casualties soar high in numbers, high in converted humans, or new foals.

Only a matter of time…we must do better…we must…
