"Scion....Ssciiiioooon,"

Came a voice that echoed in Scion's ears. Scion hoped that it was his sister begging him to get off the coach and everything he just witnessed was a terrible dream. One that seemed and felt real, but wasn't. He'd wake up and everything would be normal again.

"Scion, wake up,"

The voice sounded worried, but Scion kept his eyes closed still believing it was his sister bothering him. The voice begged again and again until Scion opened his eyes slightly

"What is it Honesty?"

His vision was blurry, but it didn't matter because the room was completely pitch black.

"You aren't dreaming",

Those words forced Scion's eyes to widen and he noticed his surroundings; a void of darkness that seemed endless. It gave him chills. Scion stood up in the dark and looked for the source of the voice.

"Hello?"

Silence "Show yourself,"

"I'm right here,"

The voice finally replied. The dark revealed nothing to him, which left him confused. Abruptly, a golden light that appeared from his necklace leaving Scion blinded as he covered his eyes. Once the light slowly died the area lit up with the golden light and Scion saw who was talking to him,

"A-a-a pony? Tell me I'm dreaming,"

He mumbled the last part. This pony had gray fur with a blue mane. It was about Scion's size while standing it's four legs stood there with an emotionless face as it spoke,

"Well you are....and...you aren't"

Scion didn't know to feel relieved or scared.

"Scion that necklace is the key to open the door to the answers." It suddenly said.

Scion felt awkward after being told the metaphorical sentence as he began to stare at his accessory.

"Okay....,but who are you anyway?"

"I'd tell you if I actually had a name."

Scion had his own personal problem and he asked the poor pony's, Although it's face hadn't changed, feeling nothing from what he said. Scion decided to apologize.

"Sorry I asked, but 'this necklace is the key' doesn't make sense."

Just as he spoke the necklace shined it's light engulfing the entire area, Scion couldn't see a thing.

"Remember the necklace is far more than something you wear, it wields 'the key'....

There was silence.

(Stop the music now listen to this)

Scion eyes shot open as he checked his surroundings; he was on top a hill laying in the grass with the early morning sun shining with a breeze in his hair. He sat there, thinking about what the animated horse said.

"The necklace is the key."

He thought over and over until a loud snore freed him from his thoughts. There sleeping next to him was Joseph.

"Ngh....I'd love another cupcake Pinkie......zzzzz."

He spoke in his sleep. Scion could have sworn he heard the name Pinkie from his little sister more times than he could count. Through he never cared enough to ask who that was.

"Okay Joseph! Wake up we've got to find our way back home, come on!"

He shouted while shaking him.

"Huh? S-Scion? We're actually alive?!"

He began checking his body for injuries.

"Yeah, we'll be fine as long as we find our way back quickly. Unfortunately I don't know where we are and better yet, how did we get here?"

Joseph stood up. "Maybe we should ask over there for directions."

He pointed to the left where there was a village covered with cottages.

"I don't think we should, I mean there's something weird about that place."

Scion admitted as Joseph began sliding down the hill.

"Well, see ya! I'm checking that place out." He shouted from the bottom.

"Huh? J-Joseph you son of a-"

He gave an annoyed groan and began to run after him, but couldn't catch him as he lead them both into the village. Scion had a bad feeling, The way this place was just 'there'. not only that but cottages weren't exactly regularly seen. Much less an entire area like this, either way Scion kept moving.

Once he made it to the entrance he noticed something, he lost track of Joseph. Joseph could have been through the whole village and back by the time Scion could even catch up. He stood there and thought to himself.

"I'm going to regret this....Okay just get directions, find him and get out of here."

"JOSEPH.....JOSEPH!"

He had began shouting his name though out the village with no response. The citizens of the place were no where to be seen which gave him a bad feeling. He continued his search but when he turned a corner he bumped into something.

"Ah!"

Or someone. The voice seemed female but before he could see her he was on his back getting up.

"Oh, my bad I wasn't watching where I was-"

Scion nearly screamed himself when he saw what he ran into. A yellow pony with a pink mane sitting on the dirt, giving Scion a look that made him feel even more guilty than he already was. He was about to apologize until it spoke.

"Eep! I-I'm sorry,"

She ran right pasted him leaving Scion on the ground completely speechless. He looked in the direction the Pegasus went. She was gone. He picked himself up still looking behind him.

"Weeell.... that was weird. Now to find Joseph aaaaand....?!

He turned to see multiple ponies in a wide variety of colors staring at him. Probably questioning what just happened a second ago. Scion didn't really know himself. He shook his head, turned around and walked away with his hands in his pockets; trying not to draw any more attention, but after what just happened. It was most likely too late.

"Where the hell is he?"

Scion had spent over 30 minutes trying to find Joseph's whereabouts and no luck. He also found out there wasn't anything reception for his phone and the constant stares he received made him feel as if he wasn't welcome. He had began walking around the area going nowhere in particular with is head hung down, he had thought of what happened before they arrived here. How did they get here, who did this and the reasons why were questions that he tried to answer, but couldn't think of anything logical reasons. Scion could feel the sadness that was lodged in his heart take over as the only emotion. Scion was making his way back to the entrance, hoping to find another place to ask for directions.

"Hold it!"

Shouted a familiar voice. Scion just stopped, he didn't even bother turning around to see the grinning face of his.

"Hey Scion I found out where we are!"

Scion turned around curious to figure out what information he had to give,

"Really? Thank God, I was about lose it." He said relieved.

"So um... where are we?"

Joseph was still grinning when he said. "We are in the magical land of Equestria!"

Scion had a face of pure confusion that said, 'Where the hell is that?'

Joseph took a moment to give the bad news "Well you see, we're not on earth anymore."

"What!" Scion almost screamed, a moment later a sharp smack was heard.

"Ugh...so how do we leave?"

Joseph gasped then glared at him.

WE DON'T! I mean...We can't because we're on another planet, or maybe an alternate dimension soooooo....yea."

Joseph let out changing from one emotion to another scaring the crap out of Scion. Scion was ready to protest, but Joseph was the one that had more experience with stuff like this so he had to trust him, for now.

"Well I guess we'd better find a place to stay, any ideas?"

"Yep! She should be here right about..."

Joseph began staring at a nonexistent watch on his wrist,

"She? Who the heck are you talking abou-"

Suddenly, Scion felt a presents behind him. He quickly checked over his shoulder to see a pink pony with a messy, slightly darker pink mane. It had been giving him a head splitting smile that gave Scion chills just thinking about it. The worst part was, it was only an inch or so away.

"Um....Hi?"

Scion replied nervously as he backed away only for the animated horse to follow. He continued to backtrack until his back hit something, a tree. The pony was there in front of him and got closer and closer, Scion froze in fear he closed his eyes and braced for impact. It kept moving until it was nearly touching him with it's nose,

"HIWHOAREYOUMYNAMEISPINKAMINADIANEPIEAWHAT'SYOURSWHEREAREYOUFROM!"

It seemed to squeak like a mouse with it's speed of speech. Scion opened one eye to see it with it's large grin, but this time it felt warm and friendly instead of surprised or scared.

(Last time, now listen to this)

Scion let out a small laugh that was more of a nervous chuckle.

"Abooouuut NOW! Say hello to Pinkie Pie!"

Joseph announced late, laughing to earn a sweat drop from Scion. Scion walked over beside Joseph and gave him glare. his laughter turned hesitant and nervous we he saw Scion's eyes crimson instead of their usual hazel.

"Whatever, so who is this exactly?"

Scion said calming down slightly.

"She is going to show us around Ponyville. You in on the tour?"

Scion tried to get out of it with a no, but instead he said.

"Yeah... love to, but-"

Scion tried to sneak away from them and save himself both mentally and physically,

"Great, then let's go!"

Pinkie grabbed Scion's collar and yanked him back toward the entrance. She lead the group in. Joseph was happily following with a small spring in his step. Scion on the other hand was being choked the whole way. After a minute or so they stopped. Scion used this time to recover.

"OKAY.......tell her not to do that! EVER!" He exclaimed.

"Calm down, your fine! Besides she'll do that even if I try to make her stop." Joseph replied.

"Ugh my throat. Why didn't you *cough* help me?"

"It looked too funny to stop."

He said chuckling, Scion sighed.

"Anyways, meet Rainbow Dash!"

He said pointing upward to the sky, where there was a pony. What a surprise. It had light blue fur with a rainbow mane, but Scion noticed something... odd; besides the fact it was in the sky. It was reclining on a cloud looking as if it was ignoring everything in the world; Scion wished he could do that at this moment in time,

"What the- how do you sit on a cloud? Clouds are water vapor in the air so how do you sit on it, it's not even solid!"

Joseph got closer and whispered into his ear,

"The ones with wings are Pegasi, and they can touch clouds like solid ground,"

"That's bullshit!" Scion whispered back,

"Oh and you may want to cover your ears. Just say 'in,"

Scion quickly asked why hoping not to regret it,

"HUH? What was that?"

Joseph yelled unable to hear himself because in the second Scion asked the question he put sound-proof headphones on. Scion was about to take them off and ask again until he heard yelling,

"RAINBOW DASH!"

The sound was so surprising Scion's eyes turned into brown blurs, spinning clockwise at intense speeds. His ears rang and his body shook violently as his eyes slew down and Scion collapsed backward with the sound effect made from "Pac-man" when he dies along with Scion groaning in pain. Joseph took his head phones off and looked at his friend who just passed out,

"Hey! Scion you okay? I warned you dude,"

He teased, not that Scion could hear him while he was on a trip to dream land; and not the one from "Kirby". Joseph watched as the light blue pony groaned and started to spread it's wings and slowly hover down from the cloud, gently landing on the ground. Blue birds started chirping and flying laps over Scion's head as he regained his consciousness,

"get away you stupid birds!"

The birds flew away at the sight of Joseph throw his hands around,

"oh dear lord.... what happened? Joseph did I die?"

He asked feeling lightheaded as he got up and started walking, but because of his current status he wasn't walking straight. He kept moving in circles on wobbly legs,

"can I please get a break? Oh and one more thing Pinkie; WARN ME WHEN YOUR ABOUT TO THAT! I've only been here for an hour and already hating this place,"

Scion shook his head which was followed by a cartoon sound effect while Joseph started having a fit of laughter,

yeah, yeah laugh it up, douchebag!

"It's not that funny!"

Scion shouted as he fell on his backside yet again; his legs couldn't coordinate with him being dizzy from spinning around. The one named Rainbow Dash started to join in on Joseph's laughing as the two fell over still laughing at the ordeal. Scion sighed and picked himself up again, but this time he stood normally and hardly struggled to balance himself if he did at all. He took a breath,

"You guys done yet?"

Joseph and Rainbow Dash's laughter slowly dying down into chuckles as the blue pony spoke,

"You're pretty funny. What's your name?"

"Scion and that WASN'T a comedy act,"

"Well it was still hilarious," Joseph said wiping a tear from his eye. Scion knew he made a fool of himself, but was it really THAT funny? He could understand why Rainbow Dash would laugh, but why Joseph? He knows how bad Scion's luck can be and he told him it was a good source of hilarity, or at least at first. When you trip and drop your ice cream, get ready to leave your crazy sister and get stopped as your at the door and miss the bus only to arrive at school to be called late by one second you realize something; bad luck sucks!

"Whatever..."  he snorted,

"to think that Colette calls me the child out of the three of us, so... um is Rainbow Dash going with us on the tour?"

"Nope just an introduction,"

Joseph started chuckling and tried to hide it by cover his mouth with one of his hands, Scion was the only one to notice as the two ponies were having a conversation,

"What's so funny?" Joseph ignored him, "No seriously. Why are you laughing?"

"No reason. None at all," he said not convincing Scion at all,

"Never mind that! We've got a tour to get back to," Pinkie shouted from behind Scion causing him to jump,

"Well I gotta go," Rainbow Dash said before flying off, quickly disappearing from sight,

"Hey Scion!" Scion turned to his friend, "Pinkie already left so let's go!"

"I-I'd rather not so-"

"BYE SCION,"

Joseph sang as he left Scion in the dust, he groaned and followed.Scion gave chase and actually caught up. Joseph and him neck and neck,

"Race you to that barn," Joseph challenged,

"Hmph, try to keep up!"

As Scion ran Joesph started to remember something and stopped

"Scion wait!"

"What?"

Scion was almost at the barn he started to see rows upon rows of apple trees and a huge gate marking the entrance.

Yea got this in the bag he thought as he passed the gate."Hey Joseph come on hurry-"

but right as he was about to finish his sentence a very had force had pushed him to the ground and just stomped on his gut knocking the wind out of him.

"Ah! What was that?"

"Applejack stop!"Pinkie shouted.

"Pinkie stand back!"

Applejack said as she stomped on Scions gut again, forcing a groan out him,

"No! That's my friend I was talking about"

"This..thing is your friend?"

"Human!"

Joseph shouted as he started to catch up.

"Were humans,not things."

Applejack still had a look of confusion on her face.

"Alright, then these "Humans" are your friends?" She said skeptically.

"Yea that's Joseph and that's Scion!"

She said pointing a hoof to each.

"There so nice and Scion's so funny!"

"Yeah you should have seen him earlier, freaking hysterical!"

"......."

Scion remained silent under the crushing weight of orange pony's hoof. He couldn't tell if it was because of the pain he was in or the fact they were bring up one of the most embarrassing things he's ever done, he kept his mouth shut. The pain continued to rise, Scion decided that he'd say something, anything to get her off,

"If we're all done talking about my failure..., it-it's kinda hard to breath down here!"

Applejack released him and Joseph let out his hand which Scion took. He stood up with an aching pain in his stomach,

"Sorry bout that,"

"Don't worry, it's isn't the first time I've been in large amounts of pain today,"

"You wouldn't have been in any pain if you had listened to me for once!" Joseph commentated

"Sure... telling me at the last second and you expect me to be able react in that time? It's not that I don't listen, it's that your not warning me ahead of time!"

"I'm pretty sure telling you a few seconds before something happens is classified as telling you ahead of time," Joseph said causing Scion to roll his eyes,

"Well anyways" Joseph continued "Were famished can we get something to eat?"

Scions stomach growled rumbled as if to confirm the fact that they were indeed very hungry.

"Well i got some fritters cooking for lunch, why don't ya join us? it's the least i could do after what i did to...Scion was it?"

"Yea. and sure if your offering sounds like a meal."

Surprisingly Scion didn't eat much, first to leave actually. He waited by the entrance and began to stare at the sky,

"Hang in there sis... I'm going to find my way back. I promise..."

everything happened so fast; the kidnapping of his mother, her death, getting sent to this new world and it all happened in one day. What if that cloaked person was causing trouble and with those supernatural powers of his? If so who would stop him or better yet, who could? Scion wondered if he'd even have the same place to return home to,

"Hang in there..." a voice familiar called from nowhere, your sister is fine, and focus! There's someone you need to meet here,

Scion looked at his necklace it's started glowing.

"You again huh? So you can talk to me whenever?"

"Never mind that, were you listening?" It said slightly irritated,

"Yeah don't worry I was... I need a name for you dude,"

"Ugh...I'm the spirit of the necklace. Is that a good enough name for you!?"

"Hmmm...I guess so, although we could think of something better," Scion started thinking,

"YOUR HOPELESS! You do whatever you want, I'm meditating!" the glow started to faint and the voice disappeared,

"Scion who were you talking to?" Joseph said tapping his friend on the shoulder,

"H-H-Huh? No one, no one at all." Joseph crossed his arms, he didn't believe it.

"It's not like you to talk to yourself.... ah whatever we've got a tour to get back to,"

"Can't wait.." Scion said sarcastically, "this going to be a long day!"

"Say Scion, you ever have a... um.." Joseph started but couldn't finish. Scion wondered why,

"A what?"

"Um... never mind that,"

"Uh, uh! Your not avoiding this one tell me I won't laugh, promise."

Scion put his right hand behind his back and crossed his index finger over his middle one,

"Fine..." Joseph then started to grow a large grin on his face, "I'll tell you if you answer me a question,"

"Go ahead." Scion said resting his hands on the back of his head,

"How are you taking the break up?" Moto Flinched at the sudden question,

"Well... fine,"

"Scion you don't have to lie. Just tell me honestly, do you miss Colette?"

Joseph begged for the 'real' answer. Scion didn't think he had the courage to tell him, but he took a deep breath and turned away from his friend, he spoke emotionlessly,

"Yes," he admitted "I may not meet another girl like her, but hey, there are plenty of fish in the sea right? And for all I know I could meet one even better than her!" Scion turned back to him with a smile,

"Of course! And some of those 'fish' are here,"

"Don't even joke like that,"

"Just did!" the two shared a laugh,

"So where to next?" Scion said actually happy for the first time since him and Joseph got to Ponyville,

"We're off to see another friend of mine!" Scion guessed that, he continued to follow Pinkie,

"Well... has someone started enjoying their time in a different dimension?"

Scion couldn't respond to the spirit's babble due to the fact that the others were present,

"next thing you know, you won't want to return home!"

it finished with snobby laughter. What Scion didn't realize was he slowed his pace, Joseph turned around to see him behind

"Hey Scion would you- what the hell is wrong with your necklace?" He noticed it glow unnaturally,

"Oh dear, over stayed my welcome," it fainted quickly,

"I may have... a spirit living inside my necklace,"

"Oh really?! HEY MISTER SPRIT!" Pinkie shouted right at Scion's necklace

"He says 'how do you do'? And 'I can hear you just fine,' and just to warn you spirit; yes Pinkie does that often."

"Well let's hurry up, and by hurry I mean, keep up Scion," Joseph and Pinkie ran ahead.

"HUH?! Hey wait a second, GUYS!" Scion began running, trying to keep up with the two,

"Well you and Joseph are the best of friends aren't you?" Scion sped up and started to catch up, Let's put that aside for now, one of these friends Pinkie goes on about has to be the one able to help you. I have, as you call it; 'a feeling in my gut' about it"

"Who could this person.... er pony be?"

Scion thought as he finally was beside his friends and they eventually stopped in front of a cottage that was separated from all the others. The noise of woodland creatures was heard from the inside, Scion stood there and continued his conversation with the sprit,

"I've never met the pony in particular although I was told you'll know her when you see her," the necklace wearer sighed at the word 'her',

"Are there even guys in this dimension? And why didn't you tell me I could talk to you through my thoughts?"

"Well we do have a mind link. Besides it doesn't matter,"

"Scion?" Joseph wondered what he was doing or where, "HEY!" Scion cursed out loud from the sudden shout,

"Oh... sorry I... zoned out for a second there, heh"

"A second? More like 5 minutes!" Scion didn't sound like he was listening

"heh...heh......" He felt like he weighted a ton and stood on wobbly legs. He suddenly collapsed

"SCION!" Joseph shouted as the necklace glowed

"Scion! wake up... wake up!" It was futile, "master..."

the light grew to massive proportions and released it into the sky, while meanwhile a cloaked figure was looking around at the top of a hill and noticed the light.

"Ah, ha!" he raised his right arm to his mouth, "The necklace has been located,"

"Remember we want him alive," a sinister voice came from his arm,

"Can't ever make it easy for me huh? Whatever the brat's as good as mine!" He disappeared in a blur.
