At the beginning of the 21st century, the Umbrella Corporation has become the biggest and most influential company in Equestria, possessing political and economic influence with the public on a similar level to those of the princesses. According to a recent survey, nine out of ten ponies use or have used products of the Umbrella Corporation, and even the Griffon Empire is amongst their patrons. The Solar Princess is one of their biggest sponsors.

For the general population, the Umbrella Corporation is the biggest provider of:

Medicine
Computer Technology
Biotechnology

However, not even the employees of the Umbrella Corporation are aware that the company’s immense income is predominantly generated by research and fabrication of:

Arms and Weaponry
Gene Manipulation
Biological Warfare

Similarly, the names of the executive board’s members are unknown to even the most high-ranking the employees…

This is my first attempt to give Equestria a much darker light. After seeing the episode in which Zecora appeared for the first time (Bridle Gossip) and Spike mentioning Zombie Ponies, I thought about a Resident Evil crossover. Additionally, this is an attempt to give the SPAT a bit of background and character development.

Rated Teen due to language, use of firearms, zombies and violence against ponies. References to Sneaky Breeze’s and my own 'SPAT' stories, and containing two OOC ponies (Bad-ass Lyra and Bad-ass Twilight).
