Little Sun-Dragon in Equestriaby BlazeChaptersPrologueChapter 1: A Running StartChapter 2: CompanionsChapter 3: Back StoryChapter 4: Finally some actionCancelledPrologueChapter 1: Now there are many things we regret in our lives and we shouldn't let those bad things take over our lives. But there are some that continue to sting and bite you back. Being locked in solitary confinement as a statue was only making these things even worse. I was forced to remember all that happened before this, but this one hurt more than the others. There we sat in out van, the silence was welcoming as I stared out into the distance. Admiring the scenery, wondering if my crossplay looked good enough. Who are 'we', you may ask? We as in my four other friends and I. We were on our way to a comicon that was being held across the county and my friends dragged me along since I've never been to one. We were your average group of mix matched high school graduates, the oldest being me, 21 years of age. I was never the quiet one nor the loud one for that matter. I only cared about hanging out with the others. My life was going no where, I finished high school, my love life was a disaster, I had no plans for college and a slow office job. Hell, my friends had to pay my fee to get in, on the basis that I would make my own costume. On top of that I still took a loan out of the bank for anything that caught my eye during the whole thing. Therefore, I always looked forward to having any social interactions I had with these guys. Oh, speaking which, one of them decides that the silence was unbearable. "Why the hell did you go and dress up as Yang, Leon?" Josh pipes up, hoping to break the silence of the van, "Why didn't you go as Leon Kennedy?" "I liked her gauntlets and she seemed like a soft yet badass character." I snapped back, "I also liked the show, despite how short you would say it is. Besides, who the hell is Leon Kennedy?" I already knew who he was talking about, I just wanted to humor him. "I know that you know who I'm talking about, Leon." shit, " But for the sake of humoring you, I'll answer. I was talking out Leon from the Resident Evil series. You have the same name, same hair colour, and a similar build. You would've been perfect!" Josh smirks. "Besides, YOUR gauntlets look like crap!" "I...can't agree with you more." I said, with the last part quietly. My gauntlets DID look like shit, but I didn't try that hard on recreating the damn thing out of styrofoam. This was starting to get on my nerves. "Besides, what the hell are you suppose to be, flying horse dipped in a rainbow factory?" "Will you two just shut up back there?" Our very own leader and designated driver of the group, Dean, yelled back. "I was starting to enjoy this silence we had and you had to go and ruin it. Besides, we're here" He motioned over to the huge building that was very round on the edges. "Now now guys, calm down. Leon, you're costume isn't really that great and you know what Josh is suppose to be. Now stop teasing him." Dean's girlfriend and our longtime friend, Natalie said as she tried to settle things down. Now I don't know why and still don't, but I snapped at her and Josh, "WHAT! You're taking his side AGAIN!? I am SICK of you guys going like this towards me. I'm looking at you too Dean, I hear what you said before we left, how I was 'just mooching off you guys and should just let him work out his own things'. Well you know what, I'm just going to be gone and what would you guys do? Nothing! And also, FUCK YOU GUYS!" With that I stormed out and I needed to cool off my head. I could hear still hear them calling me back, but I payed no heed. My endless memories were halted when I saw a group of fillys and colts walking with a mare. They walked over to the Discord statue and the mare was apparently going to give an art critique from the little ones. "Now class, can you tell me what this statue represents?" Three girls of the group thought that they knew what it was and I chuckled at that, I always stayed quiet when they asked questions like this back...when I was normal. I shook my thoughts trying to get back the the small class. "A confusion!" said the yellow one, the white one quickly pushed her away and put her own opinion in. "Evil!" she was pushed by the orange one and she said, "Chaos!" The three started to bicker and the class quickly settled them down and soon left. I was about to go back to my memories and grimaced at the thought. I only then started to see the statue they were looking at earlier and saw that it was starting to crack and split open. "Tada-aa!" The draconeques that the teacher named off as, Discord, popped out with confetti and streamers. "Hmm, I was expecting bigger company." His gaze settled on me, "Well well well, looks like Celly has been a bit busy over the past centuries. Now what may you be? Bah, no matter. If you annoy Celly then you should be allowed to." He bopped me on the nose and was about to snap his paw when he lastly said, "Don't worry big guy, you'll be out soon enough. Make sure to cause a lot of chaos for me" He left laughing hysterically. I felt my body soften up and felt a new found anger within me. "Sun Butt made me live through all those memories, she will pay, hehe. She WILL pay." Looks like I have business to take care of with the princess. Chapter 1: A Running StartChapter two: I shook off the remaining dust left on my body and inspected my gear, checking if both ammunition were in place and had a supple amount. After making sure that both gauntlets were stocked, I took my first few steps forwards and almost immediately got winded. Huh, centuries of no movement must have done a real number on my muscles. I thought silently in my mind. My head was still steaming and I cursed silently, knowing going into battle with a goddess would be suicide. I had to get back to my cave without being spotted. I looked around to see if any day guards were patrolling around the garden. Satisfied that no one was around me, I started skulking in the shadows, staying close to the walls. I ran from cover to cover, making sure that none of the guards saw me. As I sneaked my way out of the castle grounds, I turned a corner to find a sleeping unicorn guard, leaning on a wall. I crept up behind him and got in in a sleeper hold. He started thrashing about, but using whatever strength I had left, I held on. Not wanting to attract any attention towards myself, I quickly dropped my hold on him once he lost a grip on my arms. Still holding him up, I thoroughly searched his body for anything that would help me with leaving this place and I found, what looked like a key ring with a crap-ton of keys. Sighing, I dragged him over to a nearby shed and shifted the tools and other equipment around and quietly placed him inside. I made my way towards the way that the class originally came from. I made my way into the castle to find the main door, I'm sure that this place shouldn't be that hard to navigate. "Fuck me, man." Not even five hallways later, I already lost my place. "This castle is a god damn maze! If I had any idea, I would bet that Sun Butt knew I was going to be free and started to shift the hallways while I was walking through them, just for a fucking laugh." Sighing, I shuffled over to on of the rooms and tried to opened it, Damn, locked. I thought in my head. I then remembered that I took a key ring from the guard and praised myself for it. Once I looked at all the keys on the thing, I cursed my luck even more. Took me a while to find the right key quickly, so that no guard could sneak up on me, I quietly made my way in. I looked around to see if any pony, or any other mythological creatures for that matter were sleeping or at least awake. I peeked in and saw the room was empty and I saw no signs that someone was sleeping in here. Satisfied, I walked in and propped the door open with a chair, so that no guard could come in unexpectedly. Why they would have chairs for ponies, is out of my mind. I chuckled silently at the thought of one trying to sit in it. Once the chair looked pretty secure, I felt all the tiredness of the long, immobile prison, I made my way to the bed and fell over. Letting sleep take over my body and mind. Even though that my body was asleep, my mind wouldn't rest. It kept dreaming of my old memories, every moment. Even when I got angry and stormed out on my friends. I whispered a silent, I'm sorry, I am so very sorry guys. Celestia's Third Person View Celestia was still going through her afternoon court session when a guard walked into the main chamber. She noticed that the guards face was stern, and that his eyes were saying 'something wrong has happened'. "So you see Princess, if you rise the sun late, then my business will start late and that means that the shipment would be sent late. And I will lose money, Princess! I am a very wealthy pony who pays their taxes, so therefore help me, help you." A very pompous unicorn pony finished saying as the guard walked past him and walked up to Celestia, "I beg your pardon? I was talking here, my good sir." Celestia's face turned into a very stern, yet frightened face. "Court session is over, please return to your home or business." She said to the pony standing down below her. Grumbling something to himself, he walked out the chamber and out into the halls. "Guard," The guard who walked into the room snapped to attention. "is what you say true?" "Yes Princess, we have found that two of the statues are gone." The guard says, his face unmoving. "From what we would know, the Yellow and Discord are the ones that are missing." "Then send a message for Twilight Sparkle and the other Elements of Harmony, telling them that they need to come to the castle immediately." Celestia orders the guard. He salutes and rushes out to send the message. Luna walks over to her sister in the room. "Sister, what troubles you greatly?" Luna asked as she walked in, worrying about the face that Celestia was making. "I have never seen such an expression upon you." "It's hopefully nothing Lulu." Luna looked upon Celestia with great worry. Celestia, sensing that she should inform her sister as well, said, "It's about the statues, Discord has broken out and it seems he also broke free of an enemy that opposed me while you were banished. I just hope that the two of them won't hurt any of my little ponies. I know Discord won't hurt any of them intentionally, but I worry more about the other statue, Yellow." "And what was the crime that this creature did?" "He attacked ponyville with weapons I have never seen or heard of. We were lucky that I was able to subdue him before any pony way actually hurt. So I fear that he may be enraged with me." Celestia said, with that last part a bit more sorrow. Luna brought her sister into a hug and comforted her. Me First Person View Bang Bang Bang "Open up, we need to search the rooms." A guard pony said as he continued to pound on the door. I awoke to someone banging on my door, my eyes quickly darted across the room, knowing that my stay here was up. Feeling much stronger after my rest, I spotted a window and prayed to any deity that actually liked me, that the fall wouldn't kill me. Bang Bang Bang BANG "Open up! This is your final warning!" The guard pony was getting furious. I remembered some old tricks from before my imprisonment and I opened the window, looked out and saw that the fall would kill the average human. But I was no average human. The door busted open and there stood 3 guards, one pegasus and two earth ponies. "Freeze!" They took a look at me and noticed from the reports that I was the one they were looking for. "Buck! It's Yellow hurry up and subdue him!" The white earth pony, who I guessed to be the leader of the group, shouted two others. I quickly incapacitate the first earth pony and used the pegasus as a hostage as I walked over to the window. The leader looked at me and said, "Stop, before you do something you might regret." I flip him off with my middle finger and he looked at this with a weird expression. "I did before this" I knockout the hostage and jumped out of the window and wall walked towards a banner, using the gauntlets shots as a jump start to leap towards it and I clung on until I reached the bottom of it and hit the ground, softer than it should have been. Recovering quickly as I heard the clanging of the guards armor, I high tailed it to some mode of transportation. Jumping from small buildings to another, I saw the guards exiting the castle and I knew I had enough time. I ran over the the cliff side, seeing how steep it was. I continued to looked around the edge as the guards were coming closer and starting shouting orders to the pegasi above. Knowing that it can't end this fast, I just jumped off the side, hoping to slide down the edge to slow down my fall. The pegasi are flying by my side and I used the weaker ammunition in my gauntlets and shot at one, damaging only slightly but still potent enough to make him fall. I then propelled my body forward into another and pushed him down as I jumped from one another knocking them down with punches and kicks after another. Satisfied that their numbers are diminished enough to stop pursuing me, but enough to carry back the wounded. I reached the bottom and ran into the forest to look for my cave. Unknowing to me, some pony was watching from afar. Celestia Third Point of View "That's surprising. Why didn't he finish them off, why did he use weaker charges instead of the ones he used on me?" Celestia pondered at the sight before her. Celestia and Luna touched the ground to look at the casualties. "Maybe he has gotten weaker since his last visit to Equestria?" Luna proposed. Celestia put on a stern face and said, "Don't underestimate this one Lulu, he was a challenge for me and you should be more worried. But we should we relieved that he didn't harm the guards too much, perhaps he is looking for a way out of this villainy." At this moment, the train from Ponyville arrived with the Elements of Harmony. They all rushed out and saw that there were wounded guards near the edge of the mountain close by. They ran over to the Princesses with worried expressions, especially Twilight Sparkle. "What happened here? Is every pony alright? Did my brother get hurt? Did you catch the ones who did this? What is happening to Ponyville? Who is causing all this mayhem? Can we stop them?" Twilight asked a million questions a minute. "Twilight calm down, I will explain everything in a moment, for now we must hurry over to the castle." Celestia said calmly. They started rushing over to the castle grounds, Celestia was informing them of who Discord was and what he did, though she said nothing about Yellow. Once inside they went over to the Canterlot tower and Celestia spoke up, "Twilight, you must take the elements and fight Discord and turn him back to stone." Twilight looked skeptical that her teacher told only her and her friends to fight the God of Chaos. "But Princess, you aren't going to assist us in defeating Discord?" "No Twilight, there is another villain that I must face. I know you can defeat Discord, I believe in you." Celestia finished the sentence with a smile. She said one last thing before she opened the vault door "Twilight, don't worry with your friends to back you up, I know you will succeed." And with that she teleported away, leaving the box with Twilight and the rest. She opened it to find that the Elements are gone. In surprise, she let go of the box. The group dropped their jaws and eyes were wide open, staring at the empty box. Soon they heard some pony chuckle madly, they looked around and saw no one around. "Ahh it's great to be out, being imprisoned in stone, but you wouldn't know that would yo-." The voice stopped speaking and one of the windows holding a Draconequus started to move. "Hold on a moment, where did Celestia go? I had this big speech made for her and she isn't even here to hear it." He propped himself onto one of the globes on another frame and noticed the six standing there. "Discord I presume?" Twilight spoke up, saying it as a statement than a question. "Where are the Elements of Harmony?" "Why yes that would be me. And by seeing how surprised you six are at the box, I can assume that you are the Element Bearers. He looked at Rainbow and said, "You must be Rainbow Dash, famous for her loyalty, the Element of Harmony that it represents." "That's right! I will always be loyal to my friends." Rainbow boasted. "Haha, we'll see about that." He flashed out of the window. "I can't believe we are wasting our time talking to a tacky window" Rarity says as Discord flashes over to the window next to her. "Ahh the beautiful Rarity, representing the Element of Generosity. If I'm not mistaken." Discord says the last part with a sing song voice. Applejack walks over to Discord and says, "So ya know who we are, big deal" "Oh I know more than that, honest Applejack." Discord grows bigger in the window. Twilight walks forward and says, "You seem to know our strengths too." "Yes, Twilight Sparkle and yours is a powerful and an elusive element. Magic." Twilight looked angry at him. "Fluttershy's is kindness" Fluttershy's eyes widened. "And Pinkie's is a personal favorite of mine, Laughter." Pinkie looked at him, suppressing her laughter. "Quit stalling Discord and tell us where the Elements of Harmony are." Twilight said, getting annoyed at him. "Fine fine dear Twilight, I will tell you. But only my way." Discord said as he flashed from window to window, telling his clue. "To retrieve your missing Elements, just make sense of this change of events. Twists and turns are my master plan. Then find the Elements back where you began." With this, he flashed out. The six were worried, trying to think of where the Elements are. After a while, Twilight came to a conclusion, "He said twists and turns, I bet Discord hid the Elements in the palace labyrinth!" They rushed outside to go search for them. Not knowing who else is coming. Author's Note Alright, I read a few of your comments and I know you guys said that it was a bit short. So I tried to fit more of the episode's actual story into it. Know now that I am only experimenting on this and if I screwed up on this part and should make this completely about what Yellow is doing, let me know in the comments below. Chapter 2: CompanionsChapter 2 Yellow Hours before After walking through the forest after my scuffle with the guards, I started to stretch out my muscles, looking for the entrance to my hideout. After hearing the satisfying pops in my shoulders, I saw a tree bearing my own little symbol burned into it. A black heart that looks like it was made fire. I picked off the small boulder next to the tree and revealed a small lever. I pulled it and heard the gears groan and turn around me, the tree with my symbol on it unlocked to reveal a hatch. Even after all this time, I still get amazed at how this all worked. I have to thank Tech...no for making this for me... I said quietly in my mind, my fists started to clench in anger. He was one of my only friends when I came to Equestria, he gave me everything I had lost before I cam here. I cleared these unwanted thoughts from my head, as they would cloud my mind as I would fight. I went through and stepped down the staircase, on my way I start to remember the good times we had with the others, No NO, got to keep my head in the game. I reminded myself. I flick on the lights and the whole place was flooded with crystallized lights. Nothing seems out of the ordinary, most of the important things were covered with a tarp and caked with layers of dust. Crystals of different colors I walk over to my trusty workbench and pulled its tarp off and gazed at the sight before me, left were sets of the experimental ammunition and a box written, 'To Leon'. Inside was Hammer Space, a virtually unlimited spaced contraption, I remember that Techno was working on it before I left. As I placed it on my back, I a lecture from Techno played in my head. ' Now Leon, when you come back, make sure you don't let anything wrong happen to it. Who knows what would happen if it fell into the wrong hands. He gave me a serious face as I tried my best not to laugh, before he started laughing uncontrollably. I couldn't hold it and we laughed together. As we finished, we had tears in our eyes and I gave him a hug. A manly one at that too.' I thanked him silently in my head as I walked over to one of the chests next to the bench and opened it. Inside were two of my original sets of ammunition, both on their respective sides. I picked up the Gold and orange with red tips, and loaded them inside right now. I picked up the red with gold tipped ammo and placed them in Hammer Space, to use in the actual battle. Satisfied with the current count, I walk over to a similar chest on the opposite side and flipped it open, I picked up three red crystals, similar to the ones on the walls, and I inspected them. Once I made sure there were no cracks or dents, I placed two in Hammer Space and one on my person. I was pretty sure that I didn't leave anything of use, I walked over to another tarp. This one was facing a slope that ran into the ceiling though. I pulled off the tarp and gazed at my pride and joy, other than my Ember Celica of course. Bumble Bee still had its shine and color, my yellow and black theme. I checked how much power it had and it seemed more than a half, not being satisfied by this, I walked over to the crystal box and pulled out a vial of crushed white crystal. I head back over to Bumble Bee and poured it into the fuel tank. The gauge, not being completely full, was satisfying enough. I placed on my matching helmet and goggles with my crest on it and started the engine. Despite not being used for centuries, it still ran fine and responded with purrs. I flipped the switch on the wall and the ceiling with the slope moved backwards, into the cave. I ran my engine out of there and roared into the forest. Time passed in the forest as I moved to and fro to avoid rocks, branches, holes, or anything that would impair my movement. The light passing through the openings in the trees. I soon saw a bigger opening in through the branches, I payed no heed to it but something pink caught my eye overhead. I stopped and reversed to check it out and it looked as what I thought I saw, a fluffy pink cloud raining something brown, thick, and smelled like chocolate. I leaned my hand in for the drops to start filling a little and inspected it closer. I tasted it, and it tasted, not surprisingly, like chocolate. Perplexed by this, I just marked it down in another way Sun Butt screwed up. I continued down a path that I thought would lead me to some point that could tell me where the train to Canterlot was. I felt a rumbling underneath my bike and I stopped again to see...white deer? No they have a body of, what looked like, a rabbit like body but with long legs. "What the fuck has Celestia been doing to these animals?" I yelled to no one in particular. My heightened senses told me that someone was watching me, it felt smaller than Celestia, so I settled down and told myself it was just a bigger version of those deer-bunny monstrosities. And opening came through the dense forest and a village came into view. Now the term 'village' is being used lenient here, for the houses were floating meters high in the air while upside down. The roads looked like they were made and people were walking as if it was any normal day. I felt that thing creep up on me and felt the need to confront it. I drove over to a big hill and parked my bike on the other side and got out to get ready for it. I felt it, flapping? I guess it wasn't another one of those bunnies. Unless some of them had grown wings... I shivered at the thought. Refocusing, I felt it coming around the bend, I jumped out, head butted with my helmet, grabbed it, and pinned it against the tree. Threatening to break its...bat wings? I took a closer look at it and saw that it was a bat pony and had feminine curves, and I was currently pressing against her back. I, being the gentleman that I am, eased up on the pressure. She spoke in a soothing voice, "Get. the buck. off of me." I pulled off of her, took off my helmet and watched her sit down. I started to talk, "Now why did you start following me? If I had deemed you as a bigger problem, then you would get more than that small hold." I finished with a smirk. I took more notice of her features. A dark grey fur coat, jet black hair with red streaks going through some parts and a short matching tail, small fangs, a cutie mark of a flame with a crescent moon behind it, pointy ears with a tuft of fur at the tip, and a black choker around her neck. But what really amazed me, was her dark red eyes. "It's not everyday that you see somepony riding a strange contraption. You seemed to have some sense of style which meant that you had enough intelligence to communicate." She caught my gaze and smirked, showing her cute little fangs. "The name's Flaring Moonlight, now would you mind telling me yours?" Caught off by her question, I felt another, smaller, presence nearby. Standing in a fighting position, I flicked my bracelets into their gauntlet form and aimed towards the presence. The Flare jumped up and pulled my arm causing me to push her down and I got back into position, ready to shoot off a charge. Alarmed by this she said, "Wait! Come out Grace so he won't hurt anypony." A small bat filly leaned out of her tree cover and stared at me. I calmed down and lowered my arms, the gauntlets returning into bracelets. I kept a wary look around and used my senses to check our surroundings. Either there was some more small fillies or just the forest creatures. I lowered my guard for the girls to ease up, the filly, who I assumed was Grace, walked towards Flare and nuzzled her. Seeing this made me feel a bit bad, so I said, "Sorry about that, I was...gone for a long time in a hostile world and I always kept my guard up." I finished with a faint smile as I rubbed the back of my head. It seemed like it worked, the girls stopped being so tense and I thought I should break the ice. "So Flare, I will answer the question you asked earlier if you tell me the little filly's name." I said with a smile. The filly took a few steps forward and spoke in a soft voice, "I-I am G-Graceful Moonlight, s-sir." If I didn't use my aura I wouldn't have heard her. I bent down and put my hand on her head, she pulled back a little but stopped when I started petting her, and I then scratched behind her ears. Which she settled down and nudge against my hand, requesting more. I smiled at her and noticed that Flare was looking at me. I sat down in front of Flare, Grace sat along with me and nudge my hand to keep petting her. "Now Flare, I'm sure you have a reason to follow me and take a filly along. Why don't you tell me what happened?" Most of the anger that I felt towards Celestia died off a little, maybe finding these two was a good thing. Flares face tensed up at the question. "Only if you tell me your name like you said." She finished with a smirk. I thought about it and came up with a perfect name, "Yang, Yang Xiao Long. Now on with the story." Meh, Celestia can wait and deal with her own problems for now. I thought mentally. Author's Note Okay, so I thought about a few things going with my story and I think I might drop a few tags here and there, might add a few things and even change the story a bit to suit my liking. Sorry if I angered or annoyed any of you. I'm looking at YOU 'INGLORIOUS ANON'. Again, I apologize but I think that I would like the story a bit better this way. Who knows, maybe I would even drop the LoHAV group tag. Chapter 3: Back StoryChapter 3 I watched Flare get into a comfortable position on the grass, the evening sun shining through the holes in trees, seemed like the crazy magic wasn't affecting this part of the forest, other than the occasional long legged rodents. She started telling me their story. "It happened a few months ago, I was living in a small cave at the time with a decent pile of bits and gems. Since I feel I can trust you with not turning me in, I was a thief who stole mainly from the rich and hardly from the poor. I may have been a thief, but I at least had some moralities. I stole from mostly the rich, like I stated, and took most of their valuables. I took enough from them to make me more rich and less than what would make them poor. I took mostly shiny and flashy gems, bits, bracelets, earrings, expensive fabric, and the rare crowns." She stated, before I cut her off. "Wait, how were you going to sell the jewels? I'm sure the owners were smart enough to know what they've lost and how to notice it on somebody else. Unless you were to sell them far away from where you stole them, you would've gotten caught." I questioned with disbelief. A soft breathing below, took my attention away. Grace was sleeping silently on me, with her head on my leg and a smile on her face. I looked back at Flare and she stared at her as well, she had a smile that showed affection for the little bat filly. She looked back at me, annoyed that I interrupted her story and also, possibly, by the smile that I showed her. "Well if you want to keep listening to the story, then you have to stop interrupting. Yes I had a fence, and despite us being 'buddy buddy' " She stated with the equine gesture for air quotes that I know so deeply back then, "I want to keep their identity a secret. From what I know about fencing, that they take apart pieces of the item, refine them into new ones, or just change the shape of the objects. I've done some jewel cutting myself at the time, I found it quite difficult so I have to have someone else do it for me, hence more of the need for a fence." She said grinning, possibly thinking that took away any other thoughts of questions. I just stared at her with an amused look in my eye. "So this was all before you met Grace?" Grace's ears stirred upon hearing her name, but I just scratched behind her ear and calmed her back down. "Well yes it was. Now this next part might seem unbelievable, but I mean every truth of it." She warned me before telling beginning. "It's alright, I have been in crazy situations back then. Who knows, maybe I would tell you two some of them later in the future, if we were to ever meet again." I say with my trademarked grin and confidence. 'Yang thinks that we would see each other more? Huh, maybe. But I can't shake the feeling of him being dangerous in some way, like when he was about to rush towards Grace when they met.' Flare start to think in her head, she shook those thoughts out and I stared at her with a bit of confusion at what she just did. She decided not to make this more awkward than it is and reply, "Yeah, I bet Grace and I would be interested in hearing those later." I smiled softly and gestured her to continue. "After a few weeks of a good small number of heists on some ponies, some pony sent me on a high priority contract and my fence said that they were an old friend of theirs. Some bandit leader found a place to settle in the forest, trying to make his own camp there and I was to do a simple sneak in, snatch and grab and leave with a valuable crown in my saddle bags. I was feeling pretty confident about my skills and took the job head on. I geared up with smoke potions for quick escapes, pick locks, arcane tracing detectors for magical traps, as well as their respectable disenchantment, and knock out gas that I made myself. From what the intel told me, he had a few guards with him and a most of them were from guard units from Canterlot who left their service, meaning they would have more skills than your average thug or bandit, and of course your average bandit. I was feeling more than confident, I felt cocky. The fact that I would pull this lord's top hat over his eyes excited me. I scoped out their camp from the trees. They had their shifts like any other group would have if they were camping in the forest. Some patrol the perimeters while the others rested and then they switched. I continued to watch them, making sure what shifts they held before switching off to the other team for the day. Night fell and I went in to start the heist. I flew over to one guard and threw a rock behind him, into the bushes. Like I suspected, he went over to check out the disturbance. I flew into the camp and went over to the guard's barracks and poured some of the sleeping agent on the ones who were already sleeping to make sure they didn't follow me out or woke up for some dumb reason. I fly over to the lord's tent, which looked like a small house to me, and peeked him. Upon hearing snores resonating from within, I trot slowly over to a chest at the base of his bed. I got out the pick locks out of my saddle bags and got to work on the lock. It was a pretty intermediate level lock, so it had to take a few more picks to hold the slots into place. I found what some nobles would think chump change would be and small trinkets. I thought that none of these were that important, so I decided not to check them with an arcane tracer. After I was done with my small time looting, I noticed that the chest seemed smaller on the inside. I shuffled the base of chest and heard wood moving, so I looked around for the thing that could open it and found a string attached to the side of the chest. I pull it and I found the jack pot, the crown sitting on top of a pile of bits. Said crown looked as though it was made of silver or platinum, I couldn't see it that well in the dark, with a ruby shaped into the symbol of a flame. I took out a magic scanner and scanned the crown, no trace of magic appeared on the scanner and I stared at it perplexed, as I was thinking the occupant of the bed started to stir. I bent the lock picks and tucked them into my ear for safe keeping, deftly closed the lid of the chest shut and flew up to the ceiling. Trying not to make as much noise from my wings as possible, I watch a stallion rise from the bed with that stupid little mask that people wear to go to sleep, took said mask off, leaned over to his bedside table and pick up a glass of water. He drank the thing in one gulp and went back into bed. After hearing the snores emitted from his bed. I flew back down to his bed and did what I should have done in the first place, I took out another sleeping agent and as I was going to pour some onto him, he spoke in a amused tone, 'Well aren't you a crafty one, trying to put me to sleep?' " "I jumped back from the noise and he rose from the bed. He stretched his muscles and popped a few kinks out of them. After he felt satisfied, he spoke again, but not in my direction, 'You can come in now, what do I even hire you guys if you can't find the thief before I do? I thought you were better than this, Ward.' As he said this, 5 ponies walked in, three earth ponies, a unicorn lighting the way, and a pegasus who started to light the candles. Now that I can see with flames dancing in the room, I noticed the most distinctive one of the group, the unicorn. He sported a scar over his left eye, a coat of blue with black and dark blue mane and tail, and dark blue eyes that showed no compassion what so ever. The unicorn walked forward and spoke in a rough voice emitting a sense of leadership 'Sorry my lord, none my troops noticed the thief sneak in and about half of my squad are knocked out.' The leader looked at me with a sense of amusement." " 'So you think you can come in here and to only take a fake crown? I must say, you are either a dumb thief or just have bad luck. Never the less you are caught, now I must thank your contractor for giving my guards a new toy' He looked at me with a sadistic smile. 'Oh wait, that was ME. Guards, take her away and please, don't break this one. After you are done, throw her in with the others. Oh and one thing you should remember, little mare? My name is Dusk, Dusk Blade.' My eyes widened when he said it, I knew that he was notorious for a slave ring. Thoughts were running through my mind as I tried to process this. I thought about running and flying away, but they had another pegasus on their team and the three earth ponies were blocking the entrance. The unicorn walked to me and charged a spell, I felt my body loosening up and I fell onto the ground but I could still move my eyes so that meant I was still awake. 'Yes my lord, you,' He pointed towards one of the earth stallions. 'carry her and take her with the rest of our group and when you are done playing with her, throw her with the rest of the prisoners.' With that he walked out of the tent and the stallion hoisted me onto his back and took me out of the tent and into an room full of candles scattered around the tent, saved for a mattress lying in the middle of the tent. My thoughts were in a panic of what I thought was going to happen. They d-d-di-did" She was noticeably shaking. I saw her eyes tearing up as she said that last part. I moved Grace off of my leg and kneeled over Flare, she looked up only to see me grab her and pull her in for a hug. She resisted for a moment to take in what was happening and the flood gates were set loose. Her silent tears were trailing down my vest and soaking through, but I payed no heed. I stroked her dark colored mane, nuzzling her head. I spoke softly, "Sorry, I shouldn't have made you tell me. I have no idea you were put through all that, I should have been more considerate." Her crying were reduced to sniffles and her voice shook a bit as she spoke, "No it's okay, I thought that I have left it behind me and that I could move on. But it looks like it's still a part of me." She added with a chuckle. She nuzzled me back, "Thanks for calming me down, Yang. I guess you aren't as dangerous to us as thought." We broke apart. "Do you want to continue? You know, you don't have to if you feel like you've said too much already." I reassure her. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine Yang. It wouldn't do good to leave a cliff hanger like that" I rolled my eyes at that last statement. Somewhere in the west coast of the US, a teen lying on a bed typing, sneezed. "After what happened that night, I was thrown into a pool of water to clean myself. Guards were put on watch to make sure that I didn't escape. After I was done washing off the grime, dirt, and smell of musk off of my body. They put restraints on my wings and shackles on my legs to prevent me from running away. There I met another bat pony, or should I say filly?" She smiled at Grace who I placed back onto my lap. "From what I've heard of from the other prisoners and the one who served as their leader, her parents were murdered by Dusk and she was taken by him a few days ago and that she's been distant and quiet to them since she met them. That hit me in the heart and what did even more, was that I found her sleeping beside me that night. She spoke in her sleep, 'Mommy, you are so warm.' We've been close since and I had to get us out of that place. I took the lock picks out of my ear and started to pick the locks of all our chains, though I could do nothing for the unicorns who had special rings around their horns. After that, they said there were going to cause a distraction for Grace and I to escape. The leader of the group, who was a unicorn mare, who had a purple mane and a white coat and diamonds as a cutie mark, was approached by Grace and she nuzzled up against the mare saying, 'Thank you, sorry for being distant from you. I should have been more nicer to everypony.' Graced climbed onto my back and we flew off. As we escaped, we heard sirens running off around the camp as well as screaming coming from it. I felt Grace shiver on my back as we rose through the clouds and above them. It has been a week and a half since then and I hope that the original prisoners escaped without harm." She ended her little tale and I nodded in understanding. Something else popped into my mind, Celestia. I still had to deal with her and I didn't want to include these two with me. I put on a serious face and spoke up, "Thank you for telling me your story and sorry but I have to go take care of some private business." I got up with Grace and placed her next to Flare. "Next time we meet, let's share a drink and I could spin my own tale for you two." I walked back next to Bumblebee. As I was about to saddle on my bike, Flare came running towards me. She stopped in front of me and threw her forelegs onto my shoulders and brought me into a hug she said, "I would like that and we can't share that drink if you die, so please be careful." She nuzzled me and I returned the gesture and I hopped onto my bike. Something popped into my head and I remember an invention of Chrono and an old human invention of mine. I handed Flare a bottle of thick yellow ink, she stared at it perplexed. She clearly wanted an explanation, "Don't worry, it isn't urine, most people think that. It's ink, magic ink mixed with crystal to be precise. Simply write a message on a piece of paper and after you are done with it, burn the paper in a fire and that should send it to me. This has a limited use, so use it wisely." I dig through my pockets once more and find a small, flat rectangular device. I found the ear phones with it and I flipped through my iPod and found one of my favorite RWBY song, I Burn (Remix), for obvious reasons. I placed my helmet back on, I said my final goodbye to Flare and I rode off to Canterlot. After the 45 minute ride up the mountain, I noticed the castle and more importantly I saw 6 ponies in the garden talking to...some thing? I dug through Hammer Space and found my binoculars, I looked at the group and that thing I saw was the same creature that rescued me from my stone cold prison. Since this was the princess' castle, I would find her here and I could also thank the thing that saved me. Two birds with one stone. I continue to stare at the group with a malevolent smile. Author's Note Holy fucking shit that took about a month. The reason why I was so late on this chapter, was plainly due to the fact that I didn't know what to write. If any of you could help me in a form or fashion about this story, from telling me if I wrote something wrong, want to add a character, or even help with the story. Feel free to leave a comment or send me a Private Message. I saw the creature who appeared in a ball of bright, white light, threw his head back in what appeared to be a laugh, and all in a crash of lightning that also appeared out of no where. Further observations showed that it had mixed matched body parts of other creatures that lived in this world, the only thing that I could think of was a chimera, finish talking to the six ponies and blinked away into a flash of light, although I could not tell where he went to, something about the thing was also itching at the back of my mind. Something that had to do with me and an...old friend? I shrugged it off and focused my attention back to the ones left behind. The remaining six ran into the labyrinth. Feeling that redemption from my captor and also express my gratitude to my rescuer was needed, I packed away my binoculars into Hammer Space and placed my helmet back on. I revved up the engine on Bumble Bee and zoomed downward in a black and yellow blur. I found the train tracks and hoped to whatever god that was willing to help me, to not place a train at the end of the tracks. I follow the track and it led through a small mountain and I peered behind it and gulped. The train tracks were leading upward alright, only that they were being supported by beams upright and connected each beam by several other beams crossing over in a X fashion. To put it bluntly, I was worried that going too fast at these bends could send me straight into the mountain side. But then I shrugged it off and blasted through, using the rails as guidelines. I don’t know why, but a thought struck me in my head. I accelerated more onto the tracks, the thought controlling everything. I decided to take a more scenic route and drive off the first bend of the tracks. While I flew off, I tilted Bumble Bee back to help with the angle I am falling at onto the mountain side. I landed onto the side and felt myself falling back down, revving the engine as hard as a I could and slowly ascended upward, turning to the left so I could head towards the castle. I immediately regretted the decision and started to fall back down the mountain at a weird angle. I thought, ‘Fuck it!’ I turned the bike to the ground and drove faster, back towards the entrance of the smaller mountain tunnel. “Well shit, this played out WAY better in my head.” I said, groaning, I stopped the bike at the mouth of the tunnel “I just hope no one, especially Celestia, heard that huge failure and removed my element of surprise.” As I said this, a train ran through the entrance of the bigger mountain tunnel behind the smaller one and I was forced to drive off the small, one way train tracks once more. Thankfully, due to Bumble Bee’s internal gyro-stabilization, the bike remained upright instead of rolling over and throwing me off, hitting the ground with an ‘Oof’. I got off and threw down my helmet and goggles and yelled, “OH COME ON!” I pinched the bridge of my nose, trying to calm myself down, which was doing its job. I finished calming down and sighed, “The universe hates me, doesn’t it. It would make sense to that, since I spent about a century imprisoned in stone, with a cramp in my neck no less.” I said to no one in particular. I recovered my goggles and helmet and placed them back on, hopped on Bumble Bee and for went for a ‘Thirds the Charm’ idea. As I was making the estimated halfway mark and I was thinking. ‘That train was heading right for me, how do they turn back around to go BACK to Canterlot?’ I shrugged it off that it might have to do with several tracks that could split off into another track at an intersection. I finally make it around the top and I noticed for the first time in a hundred years, how the population and city of Canterlot grew. In fact, was there ever even a damn train leading here? As these thoughts racked my brain, a few things brought me out of those thoughts. Screams of stallions and mares coming from the city. I looked around for the reason for the screams and after hearing a mare call for help because of a small, hairless, minotaur, I facepalmed myself for being so ignorant. “Help, guards, GUARDS! Monster on the LOOSE!” The mare said, repeating several times This put even more people into a mass frenzy, running around screaming, diving to get to cover. All the while I am shutting my eyes with a palm hitting repeatedly against my head. I soon heard the clanking and jingling which I was guessing was from the guards armor and weapons marching towards my location. I looked up to see if my guess was correct and for one of the few times, I was right! A pegasus wearing armor was flying overhead and dashed off when our eyes met. This brought a grin to my face, like a child who got a toy they wanted for years. Since I just wanted to have a fight with them and not slaughter them completely, I threw Ember Celica into gauntlet mode and I made sure that my shell casings were orange-gold with red rims. I looked around to my surroundings to make sure that no surprise attacks from buildings or roofs. I saw a few elevated houses and businesses around as well as the tracks behind me. I drove from there and sped towards a section of the city that had stalls set up with food, tools, trinkets and clothing. I spotted a mass of crates piling up on each other and I parked Bumble Bee in an alleyway not to far from the stack of crates. I walked towards it, grabbing an apple from a nearby stall and taking a bite out of it and barely realising that I haven’t eaten since I got out, early morning. I held a free hand out to the crates to check if it would fall for what I would be doing next. Sensing that they were all full of things, I took several leaps up, eventually hitting the top and lied down. I closed my eyes and rested until it was time. Perspective: Canterlot Guards We barely got reports coming in about loud noises emerging from the base of the mountain that sounded like a manticore roaring. It wasn’t soon after that we got another report that a mysterious, small, hairless and hornless minotaur came in at from the Canterlot train station. Shining Armor, Captain of the Royal Guard, sent out a pegasus to scout the unknown minotaur while the rest of us equipped our armor and gear. He looked like he was in pain, but was trying hard to hide it. We recall that he had a small fight with Princess Cadence, his marefriend. He shook himself, as if that would changed whatever he was thinking. He ordered us to fall out to the front of the barracks to wait for intel. The last pony marched out of the barracks when the scout came back with his report. “Sir, It was just like the earlier reports said, ‘A small, about third the size of a full grown minotaur, hairless minotaur, although I saw no horns,’ Sir! ”. Shining Armor ordered a few other non-unicorns went back to grab cattle-prods, a joke among the guards for a stun baton, a non-lethal rod that generates electricity at the end of it. The platoons formed back up, there were 3 platoons in total, we all knew the dangers of a berserking minotaur, even a runt like this one, who was obviously thrown out of the herd until he could prove himself. Looks like this one got more than he could chew. We marched out through the streets, multiple scouts returned reporting that the minotaur was in the trading district. We double timed to the location, the scout leading the way. When we first saw the minotaur, one of the guards dropped his spear and quickly recovered it before an officer could say something. The minotaur was lying on a pile of crates, finishing off an apple that he most likely stole, Shining Armor made a small remark about petty theft being added to his crimes. He stepped forward and addressed the beast. “Unidentified creature, you have disturbed the peace of this city and you must leave, if not, we will do it by force.” Shining Armor announced from a megaphone supported by his magic. That was what we expected to hear, what we DIDN’T expect was the reply by the creature. He was now up and was swinging his free leg off the edge of the pyramid of crates while tapping his finger against his chin, as if he was thinking. “Was this REALLY all the Celestial Sun Butt could send me? I guess this will have to do,” His voice rose to address us all. “I refuse! if you want me out of this city, you are going to have to drag me out with a body bag! Get some for your buddies as well!” The beast called from his point on top of the crates. He threw down the now eaten apple core and it landed in the ranks of guards. We could sense Shining Armor and a few other cadets get infuriated by the creature’s remark about our celestial princess, although few had the willpower to bottle it in. A Royal Guard should never show emotions on duty. Shining Armor spoke once more, but this time he had concealed rage and poison in his voice, “Very well beast, you have made your choice, “ He turned back towards the three platoons and shout out an order, “Men, this creature has insulted our princess and has disrupted the public. You have orders to attack and incapacitate IT. We want this creature in for questioning, so capture it if possible. If it is too dangerous, you have orders to use deadly force. Platoon sergeants, you have your orders!” He salutes the three stallions and turns back towards the beast. The first two platoon sergeants marched forward and gave us similar orders to what Shining Armor gave us. The last platoon met up with the other two and we marched over to it. When we got in range of the crates, he smirked pulled a rectangular device from a pocket, fiddled with it and set it on top of the crates with music playing from it, “Now, in the name of one of the most inspirational people I know,“ People? What in the name of Tartarus are they? The creature adopted a look that could kill and spoke with confidence, “Great, the gang’s all here! Now you can all die TOGETHER!” The music started to turn up beat and we heard it say, ‘Gold’ and with that he jumped high off the crates. Perspective: Me I hit a song on the iPod and set it to a song suited for this. I Burn, but this time, I played the original version. I skipped ahead a bit to make sure I got my cue right. Satisfied, I addressed my new punching bags “Great, the gang’s all here! Now you can all die TOGETHER!” I heard the song scratch off and the lyrics sang, ‘Gold’ and that was my cue. With that, I jumped off the crates and pulled off one of the original Yang’s moves. I did a flip while activating my semblance in midair and dived downward to the most dense area. I slammed onto the ground and the cobblestone below me rippled as if it were water, the guards in the area were propelled away and the area around me engulfed in fire as I stood up, smirking at them. A few were hesitant or too dazed to attack me, so I had to make the first move. I dashed forward and caught one of them by their throat and flung them towards another guard. Then they finally shook the fear out and lunged at me. My aura caught a guard rushing to be from behind and and one in front, I shot off a round towards the one in front of me and I used the kickback to propel my elbow into the guard’s helmet, causing a dent and the guard’s eyes rolled back. I smirked and I caught a guard swinging at me with a stun baton, he swung the metal rod but I reflected it off my gauntlets and brought him up into an uppercut and shot him towards a stand, it crumbled at the force and body on top. I flipped up and swung my leg down to another guard, making him bounce off the hard cobblestone and I shot him towards a group of guards getting back up. I noticed a guard to my right, charging in with a sword. I swung low, bringing my arm back up for another uppercut and used the force bringing me up to kick a guard next to him. I bounced off guard to guard, using each impact to boost me off to another. I felt blood that wasn’t mine, trickle off my fingers, down my gloves and onto my wrists. I felt an increased high from this, the ecstasy was incredible. The feeling was making my semblance turn back on without me ordering it to. Each punch that I delivered was now engulfed in flames, burning the spots where their armor didn’t cover. My vision was starting to turn red as the fire danced around my hair and gauntlets, more and more guards were being hesitant in charging me. I lunged at the guard closest to me and furthest away from the groups and lifted him up by his throat. This one was special, he was the one who ordered commands to take me or kill me if they needed to. That started to make me heat up even more. I used more and more force on his throat and I could see the fear in his eyes, added to that that the ponies around us weren’t charging in to save their precious commander. Their commander was squirming from my hold, I brought up my free hand and was about to use the full force of my punch on him. Only one thing was repeating in my mind, ‘Kill him, he is not worthy of living. Kill HIM. KILL HIM. MAKE HIM SUFFER!’ Make him suffer? YES, he will feel the pain even after he is dead! I thrust my fist forward, but one thing stopped me, “Please stop. *grunt* I need to at least say I’m sorry to my marefriend. I need to redeem myself. I need to *grunt* say sorry *grunt* for hurting her.” The pony fell silent after this. That stopped me in my tracks, my fist was trembling, inches away from his temple. With ease, I threw him back towards his group, falling like a rag doll. I felt my inner consciences battling with each other. I let out a roar in pain, it felt like my mind was being split into two. The color of my surroundings were returning back to normal, the red was disappearing. Then I felt a more physical pain, electricity jolting through my body. I strained my face to where the attack was coming from and saw a guard, one of the youngest of the groups around me. That fact meant nothing to me, I used full force on his ribs, shattering the armor on it. I turned to where I launched him and saw blood coming out of a battered body on top of a stand. Turning around to view my surroundings, I saw several houses were on fire due to my own. I ran quickly towards the alleyway where I placed Bumble Bee, I hopped on without anything else and sped off towards the castle grounds. ‘This was NOT suppose to happen!’ Thoughts raced in my mind as I sped along the streets, ‘Why did I go berserk, I killed a pony and almost killed another!’ Tears were streaming down my face, ‘I am glad what that pony said brought me out of my rage. What he said must have triggered something in my memories, but what?’ The memory from long ago hit me, “Stop, Yellow! You’re HURTING HER! Please stop hurting P**a*is!” ‘The voice sounded feminine, who is she and who was that last one? Why can’t I remember!’ I shut my eyes in pain as I tried to remember, I didn’t even see the castle until I hit the steps. Hitting them threw me off the bike and I was forced into a statue. I opened my eyes and stared at it, tears trickled onto my clothes as I knew who that pony was. I reached out with one hand and placed it on her stone neck, “Py-Pyralis?” I remembered that she was the one I was hurting, but I couldn’t understand why I did it or where I was. “Di-Did I do this? I’m sorry, but I can’t remember why. I’m just...sorry.” I had to make things right, I shuffled over to Bumble Bee and I heard more jingling of the guards armor. I looked to my right and I saw a huge portion of a garden with a maze. ‘If I could move some of the hedges, I could conceal myself inside.’ I drove over to it, and picked up Bumble Bee so that it doesn’t make marks as I drive over it. I walked a decent amount inside the maze before I closed off the area I went in originally, of course. I found a dead end and it was good enough, I placed Bumble Bee inside and walked out to seal it. I walked a decent amount away from my hiding spot to not arouse suspicion and pulled one of the hedges off and fashioned it into a camouflaged tarp to place on top and pulled out another one of the hedges to close it off. I walked back and made the adjustments. Satisfied, I lied down on the grass, feeling exhausted and the blood on me started to dry out. I clenched my fist and punched the ground, then I felt the rage leave me and I felt my eyes closing. ‘A little sleep couldn’t hurt.’ Author's Note Well I finally finished this. I decided to try using Google Docs to help write this, didn't really make this easier or harder. But I finished none the less, with 3000 words that only took *Looks at calender* ...Exactly a month from the last one. Wow, I can't believe I spend a damn month writing just ONE of these crappy chapters that aren't even that long. I have no excuses other than multiple changes in the story as well as complete laziness. It isn't easy writing a good story, well for me at least. There are those natural born writers like Thadius or Sketchy. Like I've said before, I could use help with this story in any shape or form. Even a favorite or like would be enough. Anyway! Thanks for reading and I hope I can make the next chapter before next month. CancelledThis story was shitty from chapter one. When I first made this story, I thought that it would be great. Problem was my crappy writing skills. This has a horrible protagonist, I forgot what my original idea for this story was, and how the story progressed ALL SUCKED. Inglorious Anon, you were right about this story from the very start that I put it out. I was just in denial that this would be bad and I could fix it and make it great. But I didn't. I may write another story sometime in, I don't know, a few months? Just like the chapter's entry dates. I will still leave this story here though, as a reminder of what I started out as and where I will progress from there. Until next time, readers. Author's Note Yup, this story is over but will be kept on this site.
PrologueChapter 1: Now there are many things we regret in our lives and we shouldn't let those bad things take over our lives.
Chapter 4: Finally some actionChapter 4: I zoomed in with my binoculars to take a gander at the creature.
