I can hear all my friends laughing and talking below me so I decide to join them, but before I can touch down and walk over to them something black, similar to a tornado comes their way, all I hear is the screams of pain and shouts for help. *gasp* “Oh dear Celestia it was just a dream” rainbow mumbled to herself. She didn't know what she’d do without all her friends, her life would be shattered. She wondered to herself what it would be like without all her friends, without Pinkie Pie there would be no more great parties, with no Applejack there would be no more challenges to see who was more daring, If Rarity wasn't here then she wouldn't have anyone to make beautiful dresses for her, and she wouldn't be able to brag about how nice they were to her, If Twilight was gone then well she would have no one to call Egg-head, without her pegasi sister there would be no more love and kindness in her heart, Fluttershy was truly special to Rainbow Dash because they grew up together and even during the hardest of times Fluttershy was always there for her and Rainbow Dash felt like she owed so much to her because of it. I think I’ll go visit my friends tomorrow see how they’re doing, I don’t think I've been out of the house for days since that weather. Hopefully they aren't worried about me, otherwise I’m going to get a lot of angry faces when I get there… ~~~ * ~~~ “RAINBOW, you haven’t visited for days” growled the annoyed lilac unicorn. “Darling, have you had a break up?” “I was starting think ya was being wimpy, just staying your in cloud home like that” “RAINBOW’S BACK LET’S HAVE A PARTY!” “PINKIE!” yelled all of them. Pinkie pie just crouched down with a sorry look on her face, before jumping up and down on the spot again with the biggest smile I've ever seen, boy do I love my friends they are just so concerned about me all the time, I sort of feel bad for staying in my cloud home, but at the same time I knew they were going to be worried about me, 1 point to rainbow, 0 to my friends. I suddenly feel someone knocking on my head saying. “Knock knock, anyone there?” questioned the pink party pony, I’m day dreaming again I've got to stop doing that. “Yes I’m here pinkie, and I was away for so long because I was tired beca-” A groan comes from all five of her friends “because I was recently clearing a lot of clouds, and the other weather ponies were being lazy, meaning I had to do their job so don’t moan at me when I don’t get my naps” “You couldn't have told us? We thought something bad happened to you, we were really worried about you” says Fluttershy getting quieter with every word. “I- I didn't think I needed to tell you” Rainbow excused while putting one of her ‘oops’ looks on. “Oh, it’s okay sugarcube we understand” ~~~*~~~ They talked about Canterlot and how princess Celestia and princess Luna are coming to ponyville in a month to visit Twilight and the other elements of harmony, they giggled with Pinkie Pie as she stuffed cake in her mouth and got crumbs and cake icing everywhere and the rest ate a moderate amount sugary stuff for hours. ~~~*~~~ “It’s getting late I should be going, Applebloom will be annoyed if I don’t read the story i promised to read to her” Chuckled Applejack. “I must be going to, I need my beauty sleep otherwise i will be moody in the morning” whined Rarity. The others giggled under their breath at that comment. “I need to tend to my animals and pinkie you said you needed some help with gummy why don’t we go get him and bring him round my cottage?” Fluttershy asked with concern for the animal’s sake. “Okie dokie lokie” Pinkie said with as much enthusiasm as possible. All four friends waved goodbye to the Pegasus and the unicorn sitting in the library. “Shouldn’t you be going now rainbow?” Twilight asked with concern. “I-I wanted to ask you something, do you think I’ll ever get into the Wonderbolts?” “Of course Rainbow you are the best flier in all of equestrian, and I know that for a fact!” “Thanks Twilight, I really appreciate it, I’ll be going now” The lilac unicorn smiled gently as Rainbow exited and then used her magic to lift a book from a shelf and just started to read through the night. ~~~*~~~ Rainbow walked along the main street of ponyville looking around at the beautiful structures and flowers, for a few minutes before she took off to go to her cloud home, she felt that breeze that she loved so much running through her rainbow colored mane, the tickling feeling on her skin, the lovely fresh air being sucked into her lungs, it felt amazing, until she stopped in mid-air as she stared at the figure of a Wonderbolt who looked like they were sleeping on a cloud, she poked the mysterious pony until the sleeping Wonderbolt awoke, when the mystery pony looked up she couldn't believe her eyes. She couldn't believe who it was, she couldn't believe what he looked like, his eyes were a beautiful green but they were ruined by the tiredness in his eyes and the lines under them, Rainbow had no words, she just stared at him in shock and glee. As she inhaled the cold wind, she finally found some words to say. “Soarin…?” To Be Continued... //-------------------------------------------------------// The Breeze - Part 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// The Breeze - Part 2 The Breeze - Part 2 “Are you just going to stare at me or are you going to ask what happened?” Soarin sighed as rainbow just kept staring at the broken Wonderbolt. “W-what in Equestria happened to you?” Soarin rolled his eyes at the cyan mare’s shocked face. “Well I was flying over to Ponyville because princess Celestia said there was a tornado over Everfree forest, and none of the weather team members or the captain of the weather team were responding to her call so-“ “Heh Heh I wonder which pony that could be.” Rainbow put her guilty face on. “As I was saying, I was called to go and clear the tornado. I was flying for a while before I actually saw it. When I did see it I started to prepare myself to take down the tornado, I flew into the tornado as soon as I touched it I went flying backwards, after that I awoke to you poking me viciously” Soarin grinned at the cyan mare blushing at the last part. “You’re not going to be able to get back to the headquarters are you?” rainbow asked with concern. “Nope, I can fly but the journey is too long and my wings would probably just stop in mid-air, I could just sleep on this cloud till I’m fine.” “I wouldn't stay there if I were you because it’s supposed to rain later on tonight.” Both pegasi heard a loud thunder bolt before they got soaked in 10 seconds flat. “I thought you said later on?” “I don’t fly around with a watch on or even walk around with one on, anyway they said the rain would start around 10’o’clock.” “It’s 10 now and how I know because I was trained to have a clock in my head, but not literally, even though they threatened to force one into my head once.” Soarin and rainbow both giggled. “We’re both getting soaked, how about you come over to my cloud home and you can sleep on the floor” rainbow grinned thinking of how a Wonderbolt could be at her house. “On the floor? You’re joking right” “Of course, why would I let you sleep on the floor when I have a spare bedroom” rainbow laughed at Soarin’s annoyed face. “We should get going before either of us catch a cold” Both pegasi started to fly towards rainbow’s cloud home in the rain. ~~~*~~~ Oh mi gosh a Wonderbolt is going to be staying in my house, rainbow squealed silently to herself so Soarin wouldn't notice. When they approached the cloud home, Soarin’s mouth dropped. “When you said cloud home I though you meant it was going to be small, but this place is huge, it’s a mansion.” “Just quickly get inside so we don’t get any colder than we already are.” As the pegasi walked inside away from the rain, they both shook it off. Rainbow and Soarin both giggled at each other at how ridiculous the other looked. “It’s eleven now I have duties tomorrow really early, so I need to be getting to bed. The spare bedroom is up the stairs and the second door on the right, get anything out of the kitchen if you’re hungry.” “Okay, thanks for letting me stay round.” “No problem, wouldn't exactly be amazing to have a Wonderbolt falling from the sky.” “Ha Ha, very funny.” I thought Rainbow was a fan of the Wonderbolts I thought she would fan girl over seeing me, apparently not though, maybe not every pony is the same. Might as well go to sleep, if there’s no other pony to talk to or no pie to eat then it’s sleeping for me. ~~~*~~~ “Where’s Rainbow? She should be here by now” Scootaloo sighed. The wind feels stronger than usual I wonder what’s happening, I’ll ask rainbow that’s if she ever gets here. I think I see her and another pegasi with her. When they both landed, Scootaloo saw who the other Pegasus was and her mouth dropped to the ground. “Rainbow you’re late” “It’s not my fault that they called me in for stupid chores today it was supposed to be tomorrow, sorry squirt.” “Rainbow why is there a Wonderbolt behind you?” “Long story, we have some flying to do, or are you wimping out and wanting a story telling cutie mark?” “Flying, flying, flyi-” Rainbow put her hoof over Scootaloo’s mouth. “Shush, now show me how was the last trick I taught you to practice.” “Okay I got this on lock down.” Scootaloo backed up and started to run and flap her wings. I can do this, I know I can, I can’t fail this, I’m going to do it. I can’t feel the ground. “Am I flying?” Scootaloo asked. “Open your eyes and see for yourself silly” Scootaloo opened her eyes. “I’M FLYING!” Scootaloo just kept flying not wanting to stop, never ever wanting to stop. “I thought pegasi her age could already fly” “She never went to flight school, so she never learnt until I decided to teach her how to fly.” “HELP, I’M FALLING!” “NO! Rainbow screamed as she saw her little sister fall to the ground. She's as fast as a bullet i wonder why she isn't in the wonderbolts yet, i look up to see her grab the filly and crash land. I come to my senses and run over to them as fast as i could, i look over them both. "You guys, okay?" I slightly shouted at them all i got was an angry face of Rainbow. "Yeah i'm fine, Scoots?" Rainbow looked over to the the orange filly. "Yes but i'm scared, what was that? Why does everything bad happen to me?" Scootaloo started to cry. I would of comforted her but Rainbow as her big sister got there first, i didn't know that she was kind, i always though she was the type to tell others to stop crying and be brave. I guess i was wrong. "Shh, it's okay Scoots everything will be fine now." "I need to figure out what that glowing orb thing was, same thing happened to me aswell. I was just flying over to ponyville -specifically to sugar cube corner- to get a delicious apple pie, then some random glowing orb came by and hit me just like what happened to scootaloo, something bad is happening I can just feel it." "Yeah... We need to figure out how to stop this if this keeps happening more fillies and colts are going to be hurt and there might not be anyone to catch them, have you noticed that the wind is getting extremely strong aswell?" "I was going to ask that, but of course some pony says it before." "What are you talking about." "Ugh, this is stupid but it keeps happening, whenever I'm thinking of something to say some pony else says it before me." "That is totally irrelevant to the problem at hoof, although it's pretty funny" why are we just staring at each other I can't look away but I don't want to stop staring, a little bit of her mane falls into her face but in the perfect position, her cyan coat makes her beautiful magenta eyes make you never want to stop staring. It's unresistable. "I should get going I need to take scoots home can't just leave her here snoring ehm loudly, you can go back to my cloud hou-" "Mansion?" Stupid, stupid, stupid why does my brain always thing, yes a moment to be a complete ass, now talk. But to be honest I was not expecting her to laugh and say- "I wasn't expecting a lead squadron of the wonderbolts to be so childish, if it's a mansion go ahead there or you can just sit in the middle of a field by yourself." Ah, another moment to be an ass, Soarin shut up you got to be nice to her she may be a future wonderbolt and you don't want her to hate you if she joins, well we'll see about that... "I'll take the cloud mansion option, Ma'am" Way to freaking go Soarin, round of applause for the winner or the biggest ass in Equestria. "Well go ahead Sir, but I've really got to take this filly home other wise she's going to kill me" she winked at me then flew off, am I seriously still standing in this field, get a hold of yourself Soarin, wait... why am I talking to myself- "Heh atleast not out loud" really, really, really am I stooping down to the mental level. "Okay, prepare for take off in three, two, one, BLAST OFF!" ~~~*~~~ Flying is possibly the best thing, unfortunately carrying some pony while flying is not the best thing, it makes flapping your wings harder and especially if it's a sleeping pony or a (cough cough) knocked out pony, then your just out of luck. Where's the house again? Ah there it is, I don't think it's such a good idea to knock I'll just go through her bedroom window and put her in her bed myself, careful rainbow you always seem to mess things up and be loud, now is not the best time to be loud or clumsy or snee- "ACHOOO, uh oh." "Rainbow dash why are you so awesome?" Sleep talking, great. Put scootaloo down on her rainbow bed... and kiss her goodnight and then fly out the window as fast as you can say umm, I've got nothing. Checklist done, since when exactly did I turn into Twilight? She is always lecturing me about how there will be tests to get into the wonder bolts and how I need to study, I just keep dreaming of being in the wonder bolts when she is lecturing me, i dream of flying with Spitfire, Fleetfoot, Rapidfire, Misty fly, the Streak twins and especially Soarin. WAIT. I'm being a fan girl again keep your composure and be calm rainbow, you freak out in front of him he will think your crazy. ~~~*~~~ It's raining... I thought rainbow said that there wasn't supposed to be any rain until the day after tomorrow, i will have to ask her about the rain. "Ow" apparently flying with your eyes closed is a wonderbolt thing to do, cause i just did it. How do i open her door without a key? She'll be annoyed if i break it, maybe i can find a key somewhere. ~~~*~~~ Flying one of the greatest things to do ever, i can see my cloud house or should i say mansion. Hopefully i can scare Soarin by blasting through the door. Is he still standing at the door? I can't slow down - "SOARINN!!!" "Rainb- ohhhh noooo" ~~~*~~~ Why am i standing on top of rainbow in this position? Wait, What? "Eep, sorry, sorry, sorry" "Stop saying sorry and get off meh" I'm blushing, i can't see myself but my cheeks are really hot, at least it's dark so rainbow can't see me either. "Where's the light? oh and that was all my fault..." "How was it all your fault?" "I was going to slam through the door and scare you, instead you were still standing at the door" "So i could have broke it down anyway..." "What?" "Nothing, heh" "I'm going to sleep, i got to wake up early and do weather shifts, so night" I'm now left in the dark by myself, still blushing... To Be Continued...
