The Heart is Where it is: Chapter 1
"I'm sorry, Soarin', but I've made up my mind," the cyan pony replied icily, narrowing her eyes. She got to her hooves and stalked out of the restaurant, leaving the light blue colt mesmerized and his jaw dropped. Rainbow Dash already felt an icy claw grasp her stomach as she spread her wings to take off, her pupils small in fear.
What if my friends won't accept me because I'm more into Mares than Colts? she thought while she flew away from the "date" she had set up. As Rainbow Dash headed to her cloud home, she got a strange feeling in her gut.
I don't have to tell them...
Rainbow Dash shook her head vigorously and reached her house, landing on the lip of the cloud--her porch. As the cyan pony ruffled her wings, remembering what happened in the restaurant with Soarin'.
Rainbow Dash stepped into the Pegasus Caffe, her heart pounding in her chest as she search for her stallion. She silently rehearsed what she would reveal to Soarin', hoping things would go smoothly. She nearly stumbled as he rounded a corner, his face lighting up with joy and an immense grin plastered on his face.
"RD!" he piped up cheekily, gliding towards the nervous pegasus.
Rainbow Dash forced a taut smile to tug on her lips, trotting over to her stallion.
"Hey, Soarin'!" she responded, trying to sound as merrily as possible. Soarin' seemed to be completely oblivious to Rainbow Dash's nervousness, proceeding to a table.
The rainbow mained pegasus joined him with a hard swallow, biting her lower lip. As the waiter came over to them, Rainbow Dash quickly motioned him to go away before Soarin' ordered a buffet of food.
"So, Rainbow, you said you wanted to have a date..." began the light blue pegasus slowly. Rainbow Dash waited, holding her breath intensely, internally screaming. Soarin' gazed into her wide, waiting eyes and lowered his voice to a seductive pitch.
"But I have other plans. Rainbow Dash, I need to feel you,"
"Uh, we cuddle all the time, Soarin'," Rainbow Dash said nervously, waving a carefree hoof. Soarin' narrowed his eyes, his need becoming alarmingly obvious.
"You know what I mean, Dash. I need to please you and me both."
Rainbow Dash bristled in alarm, crossing her forelegs.
"You see, Soarin', we need to talk about that..."
Soarin' grinned as if he won a battle that seemed impossible, leaning in closely.
"Soarin', were over. I'm not into stallions... I'm into mares."
Rainbow Dash's hooves began to sink into the cloud until her magic stopped her from falling through. She closed her eyes and sucked in a sharp breath, her mind racing. I did it, she thought with relief. She slowly and quietly headed into her home, feeling exhausted from the short while with Soarin'. As she entered her home, Rainbow Dash passed her desk with a picture on it that caught her eye, making her stop and gaze at it. She gingerly scooped up the picture and with wide eyes, studying it intensely. Her heartbeat quickened as she saw the familiar crisp blue eyes staring back at her and the foggy goggles placed on the pegasi's forehead as her light pink mane floated in the whirling wind. Even in a tornado, Fluttershy still looked as graceful as can be, her light yellow coat captivating Rainbow Dash's deep pink eyes. Tears threatened her eyes as she set down the picture, making her heart sink.
"Out of everypony, why do I have a soft spot for my best friend?" Rainbow Dash moaned, flopping onto her soft feather bed. She looked at the ceiling with a clouded gaze, clenching her teeth together and closed her eyes. A loud knock came to her door and she groaned as she got up, lazily trotting towards it. As the knocking grew more anxious, Rainbow Dash growled.
"Hang on, hang on!"
As the cyan pony opened the door she suddenly felt small as Soarin' hovered over her, a dark look in his eyes. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him.
Click!
"We have unfinished business, Rainbow Dash."
***
Rainbow Dash cried out as Soarin' shoved her onto the bed, resting his knees on the insides of her tender thighs. As Rainbow Dash thrashed out at him, he pinned her hooves to the bed, a dark grin spreading over his face.
"You may be strong, Dashie," he sneered. "but I'm stronger!"
Rainbow Dash spat in his face with a snarl, bucking her legs forward; it was no use. Soarin' was too strong for her. Her eyes blazed in anger, making her sick as he rocked his hips on her.
"Really, Rainbow, did you think I wouldn't come for you?" he whispered harshly, leaning in closer to her. The cyan pegasus wanted to hurt Soarin' so much, but she was pinned and left to his mercy.
"I never knew Equestrias fastest flyer could take such a crude move!"
His comment stung her like a slap to the face, her ears dropping slightly. Soarin' leaned until his muzzle was near her ear, almost touching her.
"I can break it from you," he threatened, still rocking on her thighs.
"You never will!" Rainbow Dash snapped, trying to get him off her helpless body. Her sex clenched as he continued to rock on her, her heartbeat speeding up.
"This isn't funny anymore Soarin', get off me!"
"I never was laughing, RD."
Rainbow Dash began to panic as she realized his intentions were growing more serious than she thought, his determined green eyes sliding down to her slick marehood. He grinned a wry grin, pushing against her strongly, making Rainbow Dash stifled a groan. Soarin' still held her down, still rocking against her made Rainbow Dash even more furious with her ex-colt.
"Help!" she screeched as loudly as she could. "He--!" Rainbow Dash was cut off with a cry of panic as his muzzle shoved into the slit of her sex, his tongue flicking out to meet her clit. She screamed again which earned a slap from Soarin' on her cutie mark, making her whimper in pain. Her throbbing sex grew more slick as Soarin's expert tongue lashed out to her clit, making her produce a tiny moan.
His hooves still held down hers as she tried to break free once more, only to fail. Rainbow Dash arched her back as the familiar intensity grew, climaxing. She screamed as she orgasmed, her body seizing up violently as he continued to lap at her drooling sex, feeling him grin on her sensitive flesh.
Soarin' lifted up his head and didn't bother to wipe away the juices on his muzzle, pushing lightly into Rainbow Dash. She gasped and stifled a sob as his throbbing sex pushed halfway into hers, still being held down by his powerful grip.
"The fun has just begun," he laughed.
***
The yellow pegasus had been simply taking a stroll and happened to pass by her best friends house: Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy smiled sweetly at the cloud house, remembering the games her and the others played there. She remembered Rainbow Dash confronting her about her dating Soarin' there which brought a frown to her face at the memory. She shook her head and proceeded trotting along and nearly had a heart attack as she heard a familiar voice screech, "Help!"
Fluttershy gasped and flew towards her friends cloud house, an uneasy feeling settling in her stomach as she landed by the door. She pressed an ear to the door and listened closely, placing her hooves over mouth as another familiar voice came through.
"The fun has just begun," came the laugh.
"No! You can't!" came the whine of Rainbow Dash.
"Well no one is here to stop me!"
Fluttershy felt tears sting her eyes as Rainbow Dash let out a low moan of pain, followed by Soarin's sharp breath.
"I'm going to love this," he growled, making Fluttershy wince as she heard a loud slap, followed by the cry of pain from Rainbow Dash.
"Lemme go!"
Fluttershy had heard enough. She yanked on the door but it remain shut, making her panic. He locked the door! Everything grew still inside until Rainbow Dash cried out for help, followed by a sloppy smack. Fluttershy flew around the cloud house, searching for a window that she could enter through. It was no use. Rainbow was stuck inside with no one to help her.

Chapter 3: Dust into Hope
Chapter 3: Dust into Hope
Rainbow Dash raced to Twilight's tree with Fluttershy, her heart pounding loudly.
Keep it cool, RD. she thought with a deep breath. Fluttershy glanced at the cyan pony worriedly, earning a grin from her.
"Don't worry about me, Shy," Rainbow said with a wink. "I'm fine, honestly." Only, she wasn't fine. Rainbow Dash felt horrible and was still debating if she should confront her friends about her sexual interest. The dreams were only making it worse for Rainbow Dash, trying her best to hide it for the sake of her friends.
As they reached Twilights house they stepped inside, Rainbow Dash a little less excited and merrily as Fluttershy.
"Rainbow Dash!"
Pinkie Pie pounced on the startled pegasus with a screech of joy, knocking them both to the ground.
"I told you girls she would come!"
Rainbow Dash smiled nervously and gave a small laugh.
"Of course I did!" she retorted, rolling her pink eyes. "I wouldn't miss this party for the world as long as I'm with you guys." Her friends all laughed with her, making Rainbow Dash feel suddenly confident about talking to her friends.
"C'mon girls, I've got games planed for us!" the alicorn exclaimed excitedly, clapping her hooves. Her friends all cheered and gathered around Twilight, all except for Rainbow Dash. She hesitated and thought of what might become of her once she confessed. Earning a worried glance from Fluttershy, she shook her head and flashed a sweet smile, trotting over to the group.
"Alright, this game is called 'Name the Thought' . Somepony has to think of a secret they've kept for a while and give hints. The others have to guess what it is they're thinking from the hint's they've received. Understood?" The ponies nodded as Twilight explained the game, a bolt of fear striking Rainbow Dash.
Reveal... a secret? I only have two! And that's... Rainbow Dash jerked back in panic with a realization that she'd have to tell them about her crush on Fluttershy or about her love for Mares and not Colts.
Make up a secret, but what should it be...? The gears in her mind suddenly stopped churning as Twilight called out her name.
"Rainbow, how about you go first?"
"Uh, somepony else can--" Applejack cut her off.
"Are you scared RD?" Rainbow Dash put an aghast look on her face, narrowing her eyes.
"No way!"
"Then why don't you just drop a hint?"
"Fine! I will."
Rainbow Dash took in a deep breath and looked at the anxious ponies around her, thinking of something she could say.
This is it, she thought. the time is now.
"Uhh, I find a personal interest in this... topic." Rainbow began nervously. Pinkie Pie squealed and bounced in the air.
"You like BAKING!?"
"No,"
Applejack grinned slyly, resting a hoof on her chin.
"You enjoy silent ballet flying?"
"Gross, no way!' The pegasus exclaimed. Twilight repeated Rainbow Dash's sentence, deep in thought.
"Hm," she began. "a personal interest in a topic..."
Rainbow Dash started to get nervous as she saw how deeply they were all thinking, quivering slightly.
"Is it a hobby?" the purple alicorn queered.
"N-no..."
Twilight grinned as if she won a prize, thinking about her sentence once more.
"Is it about dating?" Fluttershy asked softly, not meeting Rainbow's wide eyes. Rainbow Dash swallowed a lump past her throat, her voice hoarse as she said, "Y-yes."
They all grew silent, too silent for comfort as Rainbow Dash sucked in a sharp breath, closing her eyes.
"Girls, I need to tell you all something. But you have to promise not to hate me or disregard me for it."
The ponies all nodded in unison, leaning in towards Rainbow Dash.
"I broke up with Soarin'--"
"WHAT!?" Pinkie Pie cried, pulling on her pink hair.
"Be quiet, Pinkie," Twilight snapped sternly. Her purple eyes softened as she looked at Rainbow Dash.
"You two were so happy together. What happened?"
Rainbow Dash opened her eyes, sweat misting on her body as they all leaned in closer.
"I-I...well..."
"It's ok, sugarcube," Applejack said gently. "take your time."
The cyan pegasus grinded her teeth together and cried out, "I was never happy! I don't like Colts; I like Mares!" The room was chillingly silent as Rainbow Dash buried her face into her hooves, a few tears rolling down her face. The memories of the dream rushed back to her like a ton of bricks as she lifted her head.
"I'm so sorry!" she cried, dashing out of the house. Rainbow Dash flew as fast as she could, hearing the desperate calls of her friends.
I can't go home, Rainbow thought sadly.
"They'd follow me there..."
She wanted to go home badly, but was afraid they would break down her door and yell at her. Rainbow Dash didn't care anymore, fore she would have no where to go anyways if she stayed away from home.
Rainbow Dash flew into her cloud home and slammed the door shut, collapsing on her bed in tears.
"I blew it!" she scolded, mentally kicking herself. As Rainbow Dash crawled under her blankets, she thought about the party.
What are they saying about me? she thought sadly. Her eyes grew heavy as sleep sucked her in like a giant black wave.
Rainbow Dash awoke in the middle of the night, feeling somebody behind her. A hoof was wrapped around her waist and the cyan pegasus gasped as she saw the soft yellow coat.
Fluttershy...? Rainbow Dash closed her eyes once more, feeling safer with her crush holding her tightly. A few joyful tears fell and she felt Fluttershy stir behind her, stroking Rainbow's mane.
"I knew you could do it Dashie," the yellow pegasus whispered gently, making Rainbow smile a genuine smile. And with that, Rainbow Dash fell asleep, knowing she would sleep undisturbed that night cuddling against the pony she loved: Fluttershy
The Heart is Where it is.
Chapter 4: A Lovely Evening
Chapter 4: A Lovely Evening
Rainbow Dash grabbed the last juicy tomatoes from the market, tossing her bits to the vendor. She still hadn't talked to her friends about the night before and it still brought a sick feeling to her stomach. Fluttershy was gone by the time Rainbow woke up which was a disappointment to her. But the pegasus had shopping to do.
Joy.
She pulled out her list and placed it on the dirt path, reading it out loud.
"Tomatoes, check! Celery, check! Apples, check! Hmm..." Rainbow Dash paused, inspecting the list closely.
"I need lettuce,"
The rainbow mained pony trotted through Ponyville, trying to hide her face as much as possible. She feared she'd run into one of her friends and would have to confront them about the slumber party she ran away from. Rainbow Dash hated seeing her friends sad or angry, mainly because it impacted Rainbow, too.
As Rainbow Dash searched for the right vendor, something caught her hoof, sending her into the dirt. The ground rushed up to meet her face, Rainbow Dash's ears ringing from the impact.
"Oh, this day couldn't possibly get any worse!" she grumbled as she began to rise to her hooves. A hoof reached out to help her, which she gratefully accepted, rising to the pony's eyes. Her breath hitched has she saw those familiar deep sea green eyes and the familiar strong jaw line.
Soarin'. Her ears flattened as she muttered half to herself, "I was terribly wrong."
The Wonderbolt offered a grin which Rainbow Dash didn't return. Instead, she avoided his gaze and brushed herself off.
"Thank-you," she said with a cooled tone, narrowing her eyes slightly. Soarin' tried to lift Rainbow Dash's head with a hoof but Rainbow Dash shoved it away, glaring at the light blue pegasus with a frosty gaze.
"I don't know if you remember Soarin', but we broke up," she nearly hissed, her voice clipped. He looked stung by her coldness, looking away.
"I know Rainbow, but I was so confused!"
"What is there to be confused about?" Rainbow Dash snapped, looking away from Soarin'. He paused for a dreadfully long time then proceeded on.
"I thought maybe what I said in the restaurant made you scared so you panicked and blurted that you were a lesbian to get away," Soarin' explained, his voice dripping with emotion. Rainbow Dash bit her tongue to hold back a retort, looking at Soarin'.
"You never scared me," she began, making Soarin' relax. "and what I said wasn't something I decided to 'blurt out'. It was true."
Soarin' lowered his head to the ground with his ears flattened, making Rainbow Dash feel heartbroken. She felt bad he couldn't find somepony to stick with, but, Rainbow wasn't the one. Using a free hoof, the cyan pegasus lifted his head with a soft smile.
"You'll find somepony else," Rainbow Dash promised. "but it's not me." Soarin' moved for a hug, making Rainbow Dash tense up. She finally decided to let him and returned the hug, trying not to lead the pegasus on.
"Can we still be friends, Dashie-- I, uh, mean Rainbow Dash?" he asked softly. Rainbow Dash nodded and trotted down the dirt road, hearing Soarin' rush to catch her.
"Need some help shopping?"
"Sure. I need some lettuce."
***
It's just dinner with a friend, Dash, it's ok. Rainbow Dash thought nervously as she flew to a fancy restaurant in Cloudsdale, feeling a bit worried. After Soarin' and Rainbow were done shopping, he'd asked her out to dinner late that night. Rainbow Dash agreed, of course, trying to avoid giving Soarin' the cold shoulder. She was worried Soarin' would come onto her and try something like in her dream.
Rainbow Dash arrived at the place, entering hesitantly as she saw Soarin' glance at her through the glass. He smiled and waved a hoof at her, which she returned slowly. She walked through the double doors, and felt horrible already. The whole restaurant screamed 'rich', with beautiful lavender and butterscotch flowers dangling on the ceiling. The building had a soft yellow glow to it which hummed a nice tune.
As she approached Soarin' she inspected the tables which had swirls carved on it all around. The wood was smooth and pale, giving off a nice glow. The chairs had a plush velvet seat on them which was as soft as her own mane as she sat down, feeling uncomfortable.
"Uh, Soarin'..."
The light blue pegasus rolled his eyes exaggeratedly.
"I know it may seem expensive, but honestly it's not," Rainbow Dash had a rising suspicion that tugged at her brain.
"Remember, just dinner."
"I know RD, don't worry about it!"
The waiter came by dressed in a velvet red suit with a note pad and quill, seeming rich considering he rolled his 'Rs' as he asked, "May I take your order?" Rainbow Dash nodded for Soarin' to go first, knowing he had a lot of food to get.
"I'll just have a chicken and berry salad," he said evenly, checking out the cyan pegasus. Her wings pomfed in anger but she quickly settled back down. Being in a fancy restaurant wasn't exactly the best place to get mad. Rainbow Dash batted her eyes at the waiter, suppressing a giggle as Soarin' bristled with anger.
"I'd the same, please,"
The waiter seemed mesmerized by Rainbow Dash batting her eyes, pausing.
"Y-yes, of course," As the waiter went to get drinks, Soarin' glared at her.
"You did that on purpose!"
"Of course I did!" Rainbow Dash snapped, glaring at the light blue pegasus. "You were checking me out." Soarin's angry eyes turned back to normal as he laughed, his face like a light switch all of a sudden. Rainbow Dash giggled along with him, not seeing why it was too funny.
"Oh, Rainbow Dash. You always did make me laugh,"
"I still do, don't I?" Soarin' grew silent as he looked down at the table, his ears flattened.
"It's not the same as it was before..." Rainbow Dash closed her eyes halfway in thought, feeling terrible for the colt. She didn't know what to say but she hated seeing him so unhappy.
"Rainbow Dash, what are you doing?"
Before she realized it, she was at the other side of the table hugging Soarin' with a few tears.
"Shut up about us breaking up," she whispered, her voice hoarse. "it hurts me more than it hurts you." Soarin' pulled away and gazed into her eyes.
"Then why don't you date me?"
"What I mean is, I hate seeing you so... unhappy. It makes me question myself." Soarin' seemed to have understood as he pulled her in for another hug, Rainbow Dash wanting him to be happy and let go.
"Ok, I'll do this for you--"
"No," Rainbow said, cutting him off. "Do it for yourself."
The rest of the night was like a candy bliss as they ate and shared stories. As the dinner grew to an end, Rainbow Dash presented that she needed to head home.
"Aww," Soarin' began sadly. "I'll see you later, ok?" Rainbow Dash gave him a quick hug the exited the restaurant, feeling the ice cold breeze. She ruffled her wings then flew off, thinking about Soarin's actions.
Well, it was a good night. she decided.
***
Fluttershy trotted through the lush forest with soft smile, picking honeysuckle from a tree. Her sack was full of colorful flowers that were extremely vibrant. She soared into the sky, a cyan flower catching her eye.
"This will be perfect!" She hummed. As she reached the ground, Fluttershy grew nervous.
"Let's hope it goes well..."
Rainbow Dash made it home, hesitating at the door. Something seemed off about her house. As she opened the door she turned her head to the side as Fluttershy sat on her bed. Beside her rested a bouquet of flowers all the color of the rainbow. A cyan colored flower was in her soft mane.
"Rainbow," she began softly. "I have to tell you something."
The Heart is Where it is.
Chapter 5: Today's the Day, No Going Back
Chapter 5: Today's the Day, No Going Back
Rainbow Dash froze as Fluttershy told her those words.
What does she want to tell me? she thought nervously. The yellow pegasus raised her head slightly as she picked up the flowers and brought them to her snout, breathing in the scent deeply. She hummed happily then gazed at Rainbow Dash, her eyes gentle and soft.
"Come sit with me," she offered, patting a spot on the bed beside her. Rainbow Dash trotted over to her slowly, taking a seat beside her crush.
Fluttershy rested a hoof on Rainbow Dash, making the cyan pegasus flush deeply.
"I knew it..." Fluttershy whispered. "You like me, don't you?" Rainbow Dash shook her head slowly, looking into her blue ocean eyes.
"No. Fluttershy, I love you,"
Fluttershy placed a hoof over her own mouth gently, closing her eyes in thought. When she opened her eyes, they were watery with affection. Rainbow Dash hugged her tightly as the yellow pegasus burst into tears, hugging Rainbow back. As she sobbed, Rainbow rocked her gently, whispering loving words into her ear.
"Shh... I understand,"
"Don't cry, you're too gorgeous for that,"
"Flutterbabe, hush now, quiet now."
Fluttershy slowly ceased her tears from the caring words, snuggling into Rainbow Dash's shoulder.
"Oh, Rainbow," she moaned, not letting go of the cyan pony. Rainbow Dash stroked her soft pink mane, twirling it with her hoof slowly, Fluttershy producing a shudder. Rainbow Dash finally pulled away, holding Fluttershy out in front of her with admiration.
"Fluttershy, do you like me?" Rainbow asked carefully, her eyes exploring the yellow pegasi's body, admiring her soft curves.
"I-I... Yes, I do Dashie."
That sent a shiver down Rainbow Dash's spine, her love for Fluttershy like an endless spiraling pit. Fluttershy's eyes flashed with something Rainbow Dash couldn't catch, for it went by too fast. Joy? Love?
Fluttershy flushed brightly, avoiding Rainbow's gaze which made Rainbow Dash grin.
"What's wrong, Flutterbabe?" she asked gently, moving Fluttershy's head so her eyes locked with Rainbow Dash's.
"Rainbow Dash... w-w-will you, uh, k-kiss me?"
Rainbow Dash was taken aback by her question, freezing for a heartbeat. She swept forward at a great speed, her mouth finding Fluttershy's with a fiery passion. As the cyan pegasus grew calmer she softened the kiss, exploring her friends mouth with great joy.
Fluttershy hummed happily as Rainbow Dash led on the kiss, letting her friend stroke her back gently. They broke this kiss, panting heavily as Fluttershy dove back in again, knocking over Rainbow Dash.
"Woah there, Flutters!" she gasped, wrenching her mouth away from Fluttershy's. She looked hurt and flattened her ears.
"D-d-did I do something wrong?"
"No, you just surprised me."
Rainbow Dash tilted her head back and parted her lips slightly, looking up at Fluttershy.
"Go on, now. Don't be afraid," Rainbow encouraged. Fluttershy nodded with a firm expression on her face, leaning in to Rainbow Dash. As she got closer Rainbow tensed up, the dream of Soarin' rushing back to her. The only thing she could see was Soarin', grinning at her evilly instead of the beautiful mare, Fluttershy.
It's not real! she thought, her heart racing as she closed her eyes. It's not him!
"The fun has just begun,"
Rainbow Dash snapped open her eyes with a cry of fear, only to feel the presence of somepony evaporate. Fluttershy was nearly into tears again as she saw her friend like that, her hoof clutching her chest in despair.
"No, it's not you, Fluttershy. I had a.... a dream t-that Soarin'--"
Fluttershy pressed back onto Rainbow, her tongue stroking her own. Rainbow Dash gasped, wrapping her hooves around the yellow pegasus. She felt Fluttershy shudder as she continued to kiss her, the cyan pony tearing up. Without Fluttershy, Rainbow would be a grey puddle. All of the things they've been though together, the pain of seeing her and Soarin' together, was enough to made Rainbow Dash cry for her friend.
Fluttershy deepened the kiss when she heard the cyan pegasus crying, holding back her own tears.
Be strong for Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy thought passionately. Her hooves massaged Rainbow's chest gently, wanting to remove all of her pain and fears that engulfed her. Fluttershy wanted to wipe all of the things that haunted her poor love, the pony that meant the most to her. She pulled away from Rainbow Dash and broke the kiss, gazing at the flushed pegasus below her.
"Please don't cry, Rainbow Dash," Fluttershy pleaded. "I can't see you like this."
Rainbow Dash swallowed hard and nodded slowly, her eyes sparkling with love. The cyan pony felt as if she was soaring through the sky when Fluttershy kissed her and now, she was closer than she had ever dreamt of. Her time with Fluttershy was like a deep sleep and she could almost hold her forever.
"Flutters... I love you so much." Fluttershy smiled softly at Rainbow Dash as she spoke, kissing her on the cheek.
"Me, too. More than you could ever think about."
Rainbow Dash watched as Fluttershy crawled into the bed beside her with such amazing grace, her heart soared. Fluttershy draped a hoof over the cyan pony's chest with such care as if she were handling an animal. She rested her head on her chest, her ear above Rainbow's steady heartbeat. They lied still for a few minuets before Rainbow Dash looked into Fluttershy's glazed eyes.
"Fluttershy, I'm sorry for making you wait,"
"It's okay, Dashie." she yawned, cuddling even closer to Rainbow Dash. "The most patient people get what they need." Rainbow Dash was shocked. She didn't say want. She said need. Fluttershy needed Rainbow as much as she needed the yellow pegasus herself.
"Fluttershy, will you date me now?"
"Of course. Today's the day..."
"No going back."
And with that, they both fell asleep with each other in their arms, dreaming sweet dreams about one another. Rainbow Dash was the last one to go to sleep, or so she thought, singing the song Fluttershy sang to the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
"Hush now, quiet now it's time to lay your sleepy head. Hush now, quiet now it's time to got to bed." Fluttershy opened one crisp blue eye, smiling an ear-to-ear smile as she drifted off to Rainbow Dash singing the lullaby.
Oh, my sweet, sweet Rainbow...
The Heart is Where it is.
Chapter 6: Facing the Worst Together
Chapter 6: Facing the Worst Together
Rainbow Dash opened her eyes, squinting as sunlight filtered into the room. She opened her eyes wider, realizing she didn't have any windows in her house. How is there sunlight? she thought, puzzled. She looked to her side and saw Fluttershy still laying with her, sleeping peacefully.
Rainbow Dash glanced up and gasped, her stomach churning as she saw her friends all standing in front of her, her heart dropping.
Twilight must have cast a spell so they wouldn't fall.
Rarity closed the door, removing the sunlight from her eyes.
"Thanks,"
They still remained quiet, staring at Rainbow and Fluttershy intensely. She sat up, making sure not to wake up Fluttershy as she got out of bed. Their silence made the cyan pegasus wonder what they were thinking, taking a step forward with narrowed eyes.
"Well?" she snapped, her wings extending defensively. "Spit it out!"
"What do you mean, sugarcube?" Applejack asked, meeting her gaze. Rainbow Dash's mouth dropped open, her eyes wide.
"What do I mean? What are you guys thinking? Are you thinking about how disgusting I am? Huh?!" she roared. Pinkie pie spread out her legs as if she was about to pounce, her eyes wide in confusion.
"Disgusting? No way, Dashie!" the party pony exclaimed. Rarity nodded in agreement, trotting over to the group.
"How in Equestria would you imagine that, Rainbow?"
Rainbow flushed, poking a hoof into her cloud floor as they giggled and rushed up to her. They all hugged her with joyful sighs, Rainbow Dash feeling someone rub her back. An electric spark shot through her made her shiver in delight.
Fluttershy.
She turned around as her friends moved back, her eyes sparkling with love.
"Fluttershy," she breathed, pulling the yellow pegasus in for a hug. As they embraced, the group of friends all grinned in approval, nodding at Fluttershy as Rainbow Dash's back was turned.
"Rainbow," Fluttershy began. "would you like to come to my house today and lend a hoof with my woodland creatures?" It wasn't Rainbow's favorite thing to do but she was happy as long as she was with Fluttershy.
"Of course!'
"Great! Let's go."
***
Rainbow Dash rounded up the last sheep, gently pushing it into the pin and closing the wooden gate. She looked around for Fluttershy and saw that the yellow pegasus was still inside.
Hm, Rainbow Dash thought. I wonder what's taking her so long. Maybe I should check on her...
Making up her mind, Rainbow Dash flew to her cottage and pressed her ear against the door, listening. Silence.
The cyan pegasus opened the door slowly and stepped inside, starting to hear some noises coming from Fluttershy's bedroom. Rainbow Dash tilted her head in wonder then flew upstairs and up to her bed room door. She pressed her head against the door again, listening once more.
"Oof! Ugh, this stupid thing... ow!" Rainbow Dash gasped as she heard Fluttershy squeak in pain, bursting through the door.
"Don't worry Fluttershy, I'm hereeeee.... oh... uh."
Fluttershy's face turned a bright shade of red and hid behind a strand of her hair, Rainbow Dash hypnotized and also blushing.
"Uh..."
Fluttershy was wearing rainbow rocks that reached her elbows and ones that reached her knees on her hind legs, lacy at the top. Panties that were also rainbow were worn very low at her waist that were also lacy, Rainbow's cutie mark on the front. Her soft pink hair was thrown up in a ponytail held by a cyan bow, shining under the sunlight that filtered into the room.
"I-I-I'm so sorry, Rainbow Dash!" she stuttered, backing away.
"N-no, Fluttershy, it's ok!" Just..." Rainbow Dash paused. "why are you wearing this stuff?"
The yellow pegasus flapped her wings, not meeting Rainbow's gaze as she spoke.
"I didn't mean my a-actual animals when I said I needed h-help..."
Rainbow's wings were now completely up, her face almost as red as her mares. Then, is clicked in Rainbow's head. She grinned and crept closer to Fluttershy, making her blush once more.
"So Flutters, what did you have in mind?"
"I-I uh, w-w-wanted t-to, um..."
"Were you thinking naughty thoughts my dear?"
"N-no!"
Rainbow Dash giggled as Fluttershy began to deny what she had planned, standing up straight.
"Oh well," Rainbow Dash said, drooping her ears as she headed for the door.
"Wait..!"
Rainbow had been waiting for that.
"Yes?"
"I... I wanted to s-seduce y-y-you..." she admitted, her face crimson. Rainbow Dash grinned slyly, trotting over to her bed and sat down, eyeing Fluttershy.
"Well, show me what you really want to do to me, Flutterbabe."
Fluttershy took a deep breath and slowly walked up to Rainbow Dash, her eyes heavy with lust. Rainbow got a spark of excitement, for she'd never seen Fluttershy like this before. As Fluttershy got closer, the cyan pegasus was amazed how she didn't flush or become scared. Instead, she rested her two hooves heavily on Rainbow Dash's chest and leaned closer. She nibbled at Rainbow's neck, making her shiver in delight as Fluttershy pushed her onto the bed.
"Ready, Dashie?"
"Always."
Fluttershy sat between Rainbow Dash's legs, moving her hips in small circles. Rainbow sucked in a sharp breath and clenched her teeth together with furrowed eyebrows.
"Don't worry," she whispered. "I'm your mare. Soarin' isn't here,"
Rainbow Dash nodded in appreciation, closing her eyes.
"Let's do it together,"
***
Rainbow Dash woke up from her nap after the incident with Fluttershy, sitting up in bed. She looked around for Fluttershy and got out of bed, her eyebrows furrowed. Not seeing her mare, Rainbow headed downstairs to hear a sweet melody whisper into her ears. With a small smile, the cyan pegasus glided into the kitchen, the music becoming louder. Fluttershy hummed a toon as she danced behind the shiny counter, bobbing her head.
"Fluttershy," Rainbow Dash called out, trotting lively over to the counter. The yellow pegasus stopped suddenly and turned to face Rainbow Dash, flushing.
"Oh, I didn't know you were up Rainbow!" she squeaked. Rainbow Dash laughed as she flew over the counter and stood by Fluttershy, wrapping a hoof around her shoulder.
"You sounded amazing!"
"Th-thanks,"
Fluttershy gazed at Rainbow Dash, tilting her head as the pegasus stopped talking and looked away, removing her hoof.
"Rainbow, you seem distant," Fluttershy whispered. "what's bothering you?" Rainbow Dash seemed to hesitate, her eyes clouded and confused.
"My mom used to do that a lot,"
"Oh,"
The cyan pegasus walked slowly around the counter and stopped, suppressing a heavy sigh as her ears flattened.
"I never get to see her anymore."
Fluttershy tilted her head slightly.
"Then why don't you go see her anymore?"
"She never kept in touch with me when I was in Ponyville."
Rainbow Dash didn't meet Fluttershy's eyes once more as the yellow walked around the counter, stopping beside Rainbow Dash.
"Where you two close?"
"Not really," Rainbow muttered. "But it still would've been nice of her to talk to me"
When Fluttershy nodded slowly and proceeded back to the counter, Rainbow Dash followed close behind.
"Need some help with... whatever your doing?"
"I was actually cooking breakfast but, can you gather some spinach from my garden?"
"Sure," she sighed, heading to the back door. When Rainbow Dash went outside she slowly walked to the garden. She gathered the spinach carefully and her thoughts drifted towards her mother.
Who cares anymore? Rainbow Dash fumed. She kicked a rock, sending it down the yard. I don't need my mom anyways! Rainbow Dash stomped back towards the house and swung open the door, approaching Fluttershy.
"Here's the stupid spinach!" she snapped, dropping it on the counter. Fluttershy flinched away from the raging pegasus, her ears flattening.
"R-Rainbow Dash, what's wrong?"
Rainbow Dash sighed, starting at the floor.
"Nothing. It's not important."
Fluttershy trotted over to the cyan pegasus, stretching her wing over Rainbow Dash in a comforting manner.
"Rainbow Dash," she began sternly. "anything that bothers you is important to me." Rainbow Dash looked up at Fluttershy, whispering, "You really think so?" Fluttershy nodded vigorously.
"Well, I was angry because my mother never kept in contact with me. I said I didn't need her, but then I started realizing how much I actually missed her," Rainbow whispered, her voice hoarse.
"Oh, Rainbow Dash."
Fluttershy hugged the cyan pegasus tightly, closing her eyes.
"You scare me sometimes." Rainbow Dash giggled, pressing a hoof to cover her mouth. Fluttershy joined in, the room filled with laughter. As they embraced, a realization came over Rainbow Dash.
"I never did give my parents my address," she began, only to be cut off by Fluttershy's laughter. She joined in, moving away from the hug.
"Well," Fluttershy began with a happy hum. "let's look for their address at the train station."
***
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy waited in line at the train station, Rainbow Dash continuously shuffling a wing or shifting from hoof to hoof.
"Do you have something in your fur, Rainbow?" Fluttershy teased. The cyan pegasus rolled her eyes with a dramatic groan.
"I'm just so excited ! I can't wait to finally talk to my parents after so long!"
They both giggled, moving up in the line.
"Next!"
Rainbow Dash squealed in excitement, rushing over to the stallion with wide eyes. He gazed at her with a blank expression, waiting for her to talk.
"Uh, I need you to look for somepony in Cloudsdale for me!"
"Address?"
As Rainbow Dash gave the stallion the address of her parents, Fluttershy smiled sweetly at her mare. The stallion turned from the book he was reading and faced Rainbow Dash.
"It says the house was demolished a year ago. Sorry kid, says here they vanished. If it were my guess, I'd say they died."
Rainbow Dash felt a ton of bricks slam into her chest, her breath catching. Dead...? She backed away from the counter, her eyes tearing up.
"No! T-they can't be dead," she sniffed, turning away and dashing off.
"Rainbow!" Fluttershy called out, her heart aching. She turned to the stallion, her eyes narrowed.
"How dare you tell her that! If you don't know what happened, don't say it!"
Fluttershy ran after the cyan pegasus, galloping as fast she could around Ponyville to find her. Her heart sank after a dreadfully long time of searching, only to no avail to find Rainbow Dash.
Oh Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy thought while holding back a sob. Please wait for me! They can't be dead. Can they?

Chapter 7: The Hunt
Fluttershy felt tears stream down her face as she exploded into Twilights house, calling out for her.
"Twilight," she gasped. "please help me!"
The sound of rushed hooves pounded down the stairs, the purple pony gazing at Fluttershy.
"Fluttershy, what's wrong?"
Fluttershy buried her face into her hooves with a shudder.
"R-Rainbow Dash ran away!" she sobbed.
"What do you mean?"
"Rainbow and I went to g-get the address for h-her parents. The stallion there said they d-d-died!" Fluttershy collapsed on the smooth wooden floor, Twilight rushing up to her.
"Don't worry, Fluttershy," the purple alicorn said sternly. "We will find her!"
"I hope so," whispered Fluttershy, lifting her head slightly. "I don't want to loose her." Twilight placed a wing around the yellow pegasus in hopes of comforting her.
"You won't. I know that as a fact."
Fluttershy gazed up at Twilight, her eyes sticky from her fresh tears.
"Thank-you, Twilight." Twilight nodded and headed to her shelves of books.
"Now, where did you look?"
"Everywhere! My house, her house, Sugar Cube Corner. Everywhere...." she repeated. Fluttershy watched her friend head to the door, following her quickly.
"Maybe she headed to Cloudsdale?" she suggested. Fluttershy gasped.
"Of course! That's where her parents were last seen."
Twilight spread her wings and took off, the yellow pegasus in pursuit close behind.
Oh Rainbow, Fluttershy thought. My poor, poor Rainbow. As they entered Cloudsdale, Twilight turned to Fluttershy.
"Do you remember what the address was?" she asked over the howling wind. Fluttershy nodded firmly, swooping down onto the clouds below. When Twilight Sparkle landed beside her roughly, Fluttershy galloped towards the heart of the city. They approached empty lots that had rubble all around a cloud structure, all except for one that was barley standing; Rainbow Dash's parents house. With a squeal of excitement the yellow pegasus fluttered towards the demolished house.
Twilight helped Fluttershy search the house, only feeling her hope crushing.
"Oh no!" Fluttershy wailed, falling onto the ground. "My poor Rainbow, all alone with no one to comfort her!" She leaped to her hooves and began to pace.
"What if she gets depressed because she thinks her parents are dead?! Then she can't find me because she gets lost and becomes even more depressed!"
"Fluttershy,"
"What if she disappears from the face of equestria!?" Fluttershy screeched, covering her head with shaky hooves. "No one ever hears from her again and I loose my one and only love!"
"Fluttershy,"
"But that's not the only bad part. What if I go crazy and never leave my house to see anypony?! Then I can't hadle myself so I go into an emotional breakdown because I'll never see Rainbow Dash again!" Fluttershy wailed.
"Fluttershy!" Twilight hollered, grabbing Fluttershy's face. "Knock it off! You're having an emotional breakdown right now ."
The yellow pegasus looked away, choking on a sob.
"But I'll tell you; we will find Rainbow Dash. No matter what, we will keep looking!" Twilight let go of Fluttershy with wide eyes.
"Fluttershy, don't give up now! Rainbow Dash wouldn't give up on you ." She placed a hoof over Fluttershy's heart.
"We can do it," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. Fluttershy closed her eyes slowly, only opening them to a worried Twilight Sparkle.
"Ok," she whispered. "let's keep looking."
They searched Cloudsdale for hours, covering every inch even as night approach. They headed home when it was too dark to see anymore, Fluttershy deciding to fly to the cliff at the edge of Ponyville to be alone.
"Are you sure?" Twilight asked worriedly. "You seem... distant."
"I'm fine, Twilight," the yellow pegasus reassured her. "We'll continue the search tomorrow." Twilight reluctantly agreed, heading back to her house and leaving Fluttershy in the thick blanket of darkness. Fluttershy soared to the cliff, her eyes watering up once more.
It's ok, Fluttershy thought to herself. I can find her tomorrow.
Fluttershy reached the cliff, landed softly on the rough surface. She padded quietly to the edge and sat down, gazing out at the treetops. The stars produced little light, but just enough for her to make out shapes. She buried her face into her hooves in defeat, shaking her head. I wish it was still light out! Then I could keep searching. Fluttershy gazed over the cliff and at the dense forest below, only the sound of an owl or mice scuttling on the lush floor reaching her sensitive ears.
Snap!
Fluttershy spun around to somepony pouncing on her, knocking them both over the edge of the cliff. She screamed on the top of her lugs, her attacker dragging her down, her wings pinned to her side. Fluttershy bucked the pony as they cried out, releasing her. She swooped into the sky, gasping as the pony also flew, heading towards her once more.
"No, go away!" she cried, racing back to the rocky cliff. The pegasus raced after her, locking it's hooves around her waist, pulling her back.
"Help!" she cried, flailing.
"Fluttershy?!"
Fluttershy stopped struggling to a familiar voice, shoving away the hooves that captivated her.
"Who are you?" she asked, backing away.
"Fluttershy, it's me, Rainbow Dash!" she squeaked, stepping closer. Fluttershy felt as if her heart would explode as she wrapped her hooves around Rainbow's neck, sobbing loudly.
"Rainbow Dash, you scared me so much!" she cried, holding the cyan pegasus tightly. Fluttershy then let go suddenly, narrowing her eyes.
"Why did you attack me?" she snapped, her ears flattened. "Who were you really expecting, huh?" The only sound was the whirling wind howling over the cliff, chilling Fluttershy to the bone.
"I...I can't say who--"
"What do you mean?!" Fluttershy interrupted, creeping closer to Rainbow Dash. "Was it another mare?" Fluttershy felt like a cold slap went over her face as she realized she might be right.
"W-were you seeing... somepony else?"
Silence.
Fluttershy turned away and headed to the edge of the cliff, tears threatening her eyes.
"No, Fluttershy. I wasn't seeing anypony."
"Oh, really?" she cried, turning to the cyan pegasus. "Why did you attack me then?" She placed a hoof to her mouth. "Did somepony hurt you?!"
"No!" Rainbow Dash snarled, suddenly stopping her fury. She took in a deep breath, ruffling her wings.
"Soarin' has become a little...overprotective ."
"What do you mean?"
"Well," Rainbow said hesitantly. "when I flew off crying about my parents, he thought you had hurt me. He said if he saw you he'd hurt you instead. I... I didn't want him to hurt you so I flew away, knowing he'd follow me."
Fluttershy sat there with a blank expression on her face, her eyes clouded and unreadable.
"So you thought I was Soarin'?"
"Yes."
Fluttershy looked back towards the treetops, Rainbow Dash quietly trotting towards her.
"Didn't you say it wasn't me that hurt you?" asked the yellow pegasus looking at Rainbow Dash with a hurt expression plastered on her face.
"I tried but... oh, that pegasus is so stubborn !"
They shared a laugh, watching the forest down below.
"I'm just so glad I decided to come here," Fluttershy whispered, resting her head on they cyan pegasi's shoulder. Rainbow let out a hum, flicking her tail.
"Me, too."
Rainbow Dash stretched a wing over Fluttershy like a blanket, humming a soft tune.
"I'm sure you were stressed," she whispered to the yellow pegasus.
"More than you can think of."
"Then sleep. Sleep, Flutters."
Fluttershy reluctantly agreed, resting her head in Rainbow Dash's lap and warming up quickly.
"Rainbow Dash?"
"Yes?"
"Never run away from me again, understood?"
A tiny chuckle escaped the cyan pegasus, holding Fluttershy closer.
"Yes, ma'am," she snorted, brushing her muzzle against Fluttershy's ear. "Now, sleep."
Fluttershy closed her eyes to Rainbow Dash singing once more, her body relaxing instantly. I found my rainbow... she thought with a soft smile. Sleep soon overtook Fluttershy like a black wave crashing over her head gently, whispering soothing promises.

Chapter 8: Never Ruined When We're Together
Chapter 8: Never Ruined When We're Together
Fluttershy jerked awake as Rainbow Dash got to her hooves, standing over the yellow pegasus.
"Get away, Soarin'!" snarled Rainbow as she took a step forward, lifting her chin. Fluttershy scrambled to her hooves as the light blue pegasus ruffled his wings, eyeing her.
"So, this is Fluttershy."
"I mean it, stay away. What did she ever do to you?" she asked defensively. Soarin' remained a calm expression, trotting closer until Rainbow Dash blocked his path.
"I said move it , Soarin'."
"I told you I'd come," he growled, flattening his ears as he tried to move around the cyan pegasus.
Rainbow Dash cracked her neck to the side, her eyes glazed with fury.
"You're asking for a massive beating--"
She was cut off as Fluttershy cleared her throat loudly, stepping up beside Rainbow Dash.
"Dashie," she whispered. "Let me handle this."
Soarin' grinned, giving Rainbow a shove to move her away.
"Soarin', if you hurt her," she began.
"Don't worry," Fluttershy said sweetly. "he won't." Soarin' chuckled at this, eyeing the yellow pegasus.
"Really? You must be a fool, Fluttershy."
Fluttershy exchanged a glance with Rainbow Dash.
"No matter what happens, don't move. Got it?"
"But Flutter--"
"I mean it."
Rainbow Dash hesitated then slowly nodded, glaring when Soarin' laughed again.
"A single team fight, huh? You really are crazy!"
Fluttershy began to shake nervously as he drew closer.
"Please Soarin', I don't know what I did but there is no need for violence!"
"You made Rainbow Dash cry!" he snarled, crouching against the stone.
"I did not," she replied calmly. "the stallion at the station said her parents were dead--"
"You suggested that she went to get the address! So you have to pay."
Fluttershy backed away from the light blue pegasus, her eyes wide.
"Please Soarin'! Don't do this," she pleaded, her voice quivering slightly. He narrowed his eyes.
"No more stalling; Time to put you in your place."
"Please!" Tears began to fall from her cheeks, her legs shaking violently. Rainbow Dash was about to charge and pummel Soarin' but remembered Fluttershy's words. No matter what happens, don't move. Soarin' shivered slightly and pounced at Fluttershy, grinning widely.
Fluttershy closed her eyes and drew in a deep breath. As she opened her eyes she waited until his hoof was about to drill into her face.
What is she doing?! Get him, Fluttershy! Rainbow Dash thought frantically.
Fluttershy rolled to the side at the last second, adrenaline pumping through her veins as he soared past her with a cry. He came to a halt at the edge of the cliff only to be bucked off by Fluttershy's powerful legs. He tumbled over, using his wings to fly back up. With a screech of fury he charged the yellow pegasus, her eyes sharp. Fluttershy swung, her hoof connecting with his chest. He let out a painful gasp, growling.
Soarin' swooped behind her, his back leg swinging around to meet her head. The yellow pegasus ducked, his leg meeting air. Fluttershy knocked him over, spinning her leg around as he rested on the ground, his breath leaving him as he landed on the ground vigorously. Soarin' let out a cry of pain, his eyes wide with fear as the yellow pegasus leaped on top of his chest. She drilled a hoof into the side of his face, crimson liquid dribbling from his nose.
"Wait--!"
Fluttershy swung again, knocking his head against the rough stone of the cliff as he screamed in pain. Fire erupted through his head and down his spine as she swung again.
"Wait," he gasped as she drew her hoof back once more. "Wait!"
Fluttershy paused, glaring at the trembling pegasus before her.
"Please, I'm s-sorry! I've learned my lesson," he begged. "Please, just, let me go!"
The yellow pegasus slowly got off of Soarin', smiling at the aghast Rainbow Dash as she trotted towards her.
"Told you I could handle myself," she hummed with a wink. Soarin' got to his hooves as the two pegasi turned away, wiping the blood from his muzzle.
"Hehe!" Rainbow Dash snorted. "You showed him!"
The light blue pegasus charged without making a noise, pulling back his hoof as he aimed for Fluttershy.
"Thanks, Rainbow Da--"
Fluttershy was cut off as Soarin's hoof slammed into the back of her head, knocking the yellow pegasus to the ground with a sickening slam. Rainbow Dash tried to register what just happened, turning to the light blue pegasus.
"What did you do!?" She roared, launching herself at Soarin'. She knocked him to the ground and pounded away on his face, her fury like a blazing fire.
"Don't. Ever. Touch. Her!" she said with each swing, grinding her teeth together. Rainbow Dash stood up, kicking his side.
"Why did you come here?" She cried. "Leave me and Fluttershy alone!"
Soarin' groaned in pain, holding his sides. Rainbow Dash turned away and ran over to Fluttershy, collapsing by the yellow pegasus in tears. She scooped up Fluttershy, turning her face-up.
"Fluttershy?" she whispered frantically, brushing away a strand of hair in Fluttershy's face.
Twilight will know what to do! Rainbow thought. She slowly stood on her hind legs with Fluttershy knocked out cold in her arms, dashing into the thick darkness.
***
Rainbow Dash busted through the purple alicorn's door, crying out to her friend.
"Ugh, who is it?"
"Twilight, it's me, Rainbow Dash!"
"Rainbow?"
Twilight Sparkle rushed down the stairs, a grin on her sleepy face.
"Fluttershy was so worried about..." She trailed off as she saw the yellow pegasus limp in Rainbow Dash's arms. "Dear Celestia! What happened?!" As Rainbow Dash explained what happened, Twilight began to pace.
"Soarin' must have hit a pressure point, knocking her out. I fear Fluttershy may be," Twilight hesitated, choking on the last few words. "out for a few weeks."
Rainbow Dash slammed a hoof onto the floor, her nostrils flaring.
"No! Check for a pulse," demanded the cyan pegasus, wanting to make sure Fluttershy was okay. Twilight Sparkle nodded swiftly, moving over to Fluttershy. She placed a hoof on her neck, frowning.
"It's there, but it is faint. She'll be fine, I'm sure."
Rainbow Dash let out a huge sigh of relief, hugging the knocked out Fluttershy.
"She should stay here tonight."
"Can I stay, too?" Rainbow Dash asked with wide eyes. Twilight nodded, heading back upstairs.
"Sure. There's an extra bed for the both of you," she yawned.
Rainbow Dash gingerly picked up Fluttershy and flew upstairs, resting the yellow pegasus on the bed. She crawled into bed, curling up against Fluttershy. Oh Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash thought sadly. I feel so lost. The cyan pegasus closed her eyes, pulling Fluttershy closer and resting her chin at the crown of Fluttershy's head. Rainbow Dash slowly felt herself slipping in a deep sleep, clutching Fluttershy closer. Wake up soon.
***
Rainbow Dash opened her eyes slightly, glancing down at Fluttershy. Her chest rose and fell with each even breath, Rainbow Dash kissing her forehead.
"Morning," she whispered, mainly to herself. The cyan pegasus got out of bed carefully and headed downstairs.
"Twilight?" she called out as she entered the kitchen. She stopped as she saw all of her friends with scarred faces, listening intensely to Twilight Sparkle.
"I fear Fluttershy may have slipped into--" Twilight began with a quill and pen, stopping as she saw Rainbow Dash. The cyan pegasus slowly walked towards them as they fell silent, flicking her tail.
"Well?" she sighed. "Keep going." Twilight paused then turned back to the others.
"Fluttershy may have slipped into a coma."
They all gasped, staring at Rainbow Dash with sad eyes.
"Uh, Twilight," Pinkie Pie began. "what's a coma ?" The alicorn's face lit up at the question.
"Well Pinkie Pie, when somepony goes into a coma, it's a prolonged state of deep unconsciousness."
"Who the what now?"
Applejack rolled her eyes with a groan, glancing at the pink party pony.
"It's like a deep sleep," she retorted. When Pinkie Pie let out a long oh , Twilight continued.
"Actually Applejack, this is not the same thing as sleeping, since the brain does not go through the normal activity associated with sleep during a coma. Whereas somepony who is sleeping may move if they are uncomfortable, a comatose patient will not, except for spinal reflexes," Twilight Sparkle explained excitedly. "Anypony in a coma cannot be awoken by even vigorous or painful stimulation. Anymore questions?"
The small group of friends were silent, all flabbergasted.
"No?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. "Very well. Continuing. On the other hoof, there are forms of coma from which it may be impossible to wake. Since Fluttershy was hit in the back of the head, her nerve cells may never regenerate. The nerve cells may in fact regenerate, but at a very slow rate."
Her friends leaned in closer, eyes wide.
"Fluttershy may even suffer from brain death, which is an even more severe situation. At this rate, her brain cells wouldn't have regenerated at all but instead perish the remaining ones."
"Well, when will she wake up?" Rainbow Dash demanded.
"I can't exactly say when she will wake up," Twilight admitted. "If enough nerve cells die in that region, the back of her brain, I'm afraid she may never awake."
No, Rainbow Dash thought, backing away from her friends. No, she can't die! I need her.
"Rainbow Dash," Rarity said. "darling, you don't look to well. Are you ok?" They all turned to Rainbow Dash expectantly.
"Never... ever wake up?" she asked Twilight.
"Well," the purple alicorn began once more. "there is a slight chance. But I'm sure that won't happen and she'll wake up fine." Twilight rushed the last part, her eyes tearing up for her friend.
"It still could happen!" the party pony gasped, her eyes slashing over to meet Rainbow Dash's.
"What if she never wakes up? And I mean never! Then Rainbow Dash will have to suffer without her true love."
"Pinkie..."
"Rainbow Dash would then stay in her home all alone, never showing her face," Pinkie Pie whispered dramatically, clutching Rainbow Dash's face.
"Pinkie."
"Then Rainbow Dash would become a crazy cat lady like Rarity!"
"Hey!" Rarity scoffed.
"You know she only has one cat, right?" Applejack pointed out. Pinkie Pie narrowed her blue eyes.
"Give her time..."
They all groaned except for Rainbow Dash, walking away from the kitchen and into the bedroom upstairs. She gazed at the unconscious Fluttershy, padding over to her gingerly. Oh, Flutters. she thought with a sad smile, sitting on the edge of the bed. Wake up soon.
The Heart is Where it is.
Chapter 9: A Spice of Life
Chapter 9: A Spice of Life
Rainbow Dash shook the thought that Fluttershy may never wake up from her coma, dancing in place to wake herself up from the shocking information. Her body felt worn out from the amount of stress burying her. Rainbow Dash paced by the bed, narrowing her eyes deep in thought.
"Yah' know, pacing will do nothing."
Rainbow Dash snapped her head up, seeing Applejack standing in the door way.
"Ah reckon you'd better be gettin' some sleep," she said evenly, leaning in the frame of the door. Rainbow Dash placed a hoof on her snout, groaning inwardly.
"I don't think I can," Rainbow Dash muttered, turning to the orange earth pony. Applejack smirked, straightening her body.
"Don't worry Rainbow. Fluttershy will be fine."
"You don't know for sure," Rainbow Dash sighed, her ears flattening.
Applejack trotted over to the cyan pony, wrapping a hoof around her shoulder.
"Aw, now don't be like that, sugarcube," Applejack scolded gently. "Fluttershy is strong, like you. She'll make it, no doubt 'bout it." As much as Applejack wanted to soothe Rainbow Dash, the cyan pegasus looked away with a frown.
"I know she's strong," she whispered. "I just hope she's strong enough ."
Applejack sighed and headed towards the door, hesitating.
"Yah' know, Rd... maybe you should go look for your parents instead."
Rainbow Dash felt aghast at Applejack's statement, turning towards her friend.
"I can't leave Flutters--!"
"Ah'll watch her, Rainbow. You go find your parents," the orange earth pony promised. "Ah' reckon you still don't know what happened to them."
Rainbow Dash nodded after what felt like minutes of her deciding. Rainbow Dash got to her hooves and trotted to leave.
"Thank-you, Applejack," she whispered as she paused by the door. "Watch over my girl." Applejack laughed, winking at the cyan pegasus.
"She's in safe hooves, RD," Applejack reassured her. Rainbow Dash flashed a grin at her then turned away, running down the stairs. When she was out the door, Rainbow Dash flicked out her wings and took off, her mind racing.
Fluttershy will be fine. I have to find my parents now.
***
Fluttershy opened her eyes, finding herself on a soft cloud floor that seemed to go on for miles. Confused, she got to her hooves and began walking through tall cloud pillars. She looked up and saw the cloud ceiling and the glass chandeliers hanging over her.
Cloudsdale?
The yellow pegasus drew in her surroundings with interest, jumping as she saw a figure rocket past her.
"Wait, stop!" she called out, racing after the dark figure. As she raced after the pony, she saw that the ridge mane look familiar to her searching eyes.
"Rainbow Dash?!" she gasped, coming to a halt as sunlight filtered through a hole in the building. The light hit the dark pegasi's body, glowing so brightly that Fluttershy shielded her eyes.
"Oh, Rainbow Dash," Fluttershy exclaimed breathlessly, skipping as she headed towards her friend. "I was afraid I'd never--!"
Fluttershy stopped suddenly as Rainbow Dash turned to face her, the color draining from her face. The cyan pegasi's gaze seemed to pierce Fluttershy's heart, her eyes dull and gray. The yellow pegasus backed away slowly.
"Why so shaken, Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash quizzed, stepping closer.
"R-Rainbow Dash," Fluttershy sputtered, shrinking. "What happened to you?" The cyan pegasus laughed, holding a hoof over her face.
"Oh Fluttershy, it should be obvious."
"I... I don't understand! What's wrong?"
Rainbow Dash gazed at the yellow pegasus.
"R-Rainbow, your eyes!" she gasped.
Rainbow Dash's eyes seemed to shine brightly, there color flooding back to life. She began to giggle, giving Fluttershy a big hug.
"They're ok," she whispered gently. "Don't worry about me. They're ok..."
Fluttershy tilted her head as they hugged.
"It'll make sense soon," the cyan pegasus promised. "For now, just sleep Fluttershy. Sleep..."
Fluttershy closed her eyes slowly in Rainbow Dash's arms, listening to her comforting words.
"You'll wake up soon. Wait for me and sleep."
***
Rainbow Dash soared through the sky as she looked all over her home city; Cloudsdale. She felt her hope crushing painfully slow, sighing.
Where could they be?! she thought in frustration. They could be anywhere in Equestria!
The cyan pegasus came to a stop as she passed a train station. Timidly, Rainbow Dash glided to the counter.
"Exuse me, sir," she called out.
"Just a moment please!"
Rainbow Dash waited patiently as the stallion finished with his fiddling of the ticket booth and confronted her with a smile that made her stomach flip uncomfortably.
"How may I help you, young lady?" he asked.
"Uhh, yes, I would like for you to look for somepony."
After Rainbow Dash told the stallion where her parents were last seen he flipped through a book.
"Hmm... it looks like they went missing. I have their jobs, if that helps."
"Really!?"
"Yep."
"Okay, may I see it please?" Rainbow asked, leaning over the counter eagerly. When the stallion showed her the book, she shone with a smile.
The Weather Factory!
With a thanks the cyan pegasus flew towards the factory, a shiver going through her body. Rainbow Dash soared through the sky until the menacing building came into view. She watched pegasi fly by her with glares.
What's going on here? she thought with a frown.
Rainbow Dash stopped as she reached the entrance of the factory, swallowing a lump past her throat. Sucking in a deep breath she pushed open the door, taking a small step inside. All eyes shifted onto her, whispers filtering throughout the room. Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow, trotting through the pegasi.
"Did you hear what happened?"
"Yeah, it was awful..."
Rainbow flicked her tail with a glare at the staring ponies, heading to another huge door. She felt somepony slam into her chest, knocking her to the ground.
"Oh, I'm sorry!"
"It's ok," Rainbow Dash muttered, getting to her hooves. She looked up at a white pegasus with silky raven colored hair with rainbow tips smiling at her.
"I do apologize. Do you need any help, ma'am?"
"Yeah. Do you have access to the records of ponies who work here?"
"Of course! But first, you need to talk to our director of the Weather Factory," she rambled, trotting down a long hall. "I'll take you there."
Rainbow Dash just nodded as she followed the bubbly pegasus, her stomach flipping. Why am I so nervous?
"Here we are!" she said happily, pushing open the door. Rainbow nodded her head and stepped inside, gasping as her jaw felt like it hit the floor. There, right before her eyes; Rainbow Dash's long lost father.
***
Fluttershy snapped open her eyes with a gasp, leaping out of the bed violently. She got into a fighting stance, only to see Applejack.
"Woah there, sugarcube!" she said rather breathlessly. "Wait here."
The yellow pegasus waited as Applejack raced down the stairs, shouting out for her friends.
"She's awake, y'all!"
Fluttershy backed away as her friends busted into the bedroom, their presence suffocating her.
"Guys, stand back! She needs some room."
Fluttershy looked over her friends to see a crossed Twilight Sparkle, her eyes narrowed. They all reluctantly stepped away, smiling at Fluttershy.
"How do you feel, darling?" Rarity asked sweetly.
"Uh, I feel ok..."
"Are you sure?!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, examining her closely.
"Y-yes," Fluttershy sputtered. Her friends sighed, each of them giving her a small hug. Fluttershy looked around the room and something was missing.
"Where's Rainbow Dash?"
"She went to go find her parents," Twilight said matter of factly.
"Oh."
"Aww, don't look sad, Fluttershy!" the pink party pony exclaimed. "She'll be back soon."
Fluttershy dragged her hoof across the wooden floor, looking away.
"Yeah, I know," she said softly. Twilight padded over to her and wrapped a hoof around her shoulder.
"Don't worry about it, Fluttershy," she said. "Pinkie Pie is right."
"I am?"
Twilight glared at her then turned back to the yellow pegasus, a small smile placed on her lips.
"You know her; strong as a boulder."
Fluttershy giggled, hugging the purple unicorn tightly.
"Stronger than that," she whispered.
"Fluttershy, dear, I bet you're famished. Care for something to eat?" Rarity asked. With a tiny nod, Fluttershy pulled away from Twilight and headed downstairs. She stumbled as the room began to shift, using her wings to keep from falling. The room spun violently as she felt strong hooves wrap around her waist.
"You alright, Fluttershy?" Applejack asked, holding the yellow pegasus. Fluttershy waited until the room stopped spinning, going limp in the farm pony's arms.
"I have no clue," she admitted, letting Applejack scoop her up.
"Fluttershy is still weak from the coma," Twilight Sparkle exclaimed as she stopped on the stairs beside them. "She needs to stay in bed."
As Applejack carried her back upstairs, Rarity shuffled her hooves, a look of guilt on her face.
"I'll make you something," she said, rushing her words and galloped away.
Applejack set her on the bed gently, brushing away a strand of hair.
"Now yah' need to get some sleep," she advised. "Ah will wake you when lunch is ready."
Fluttershy nodded slowly until the earth pony walked away, turning her back towards the door. A single tear trickled down her cheek as Fluttershy wrapped her hooves around herself tightly.
Rainbow Dash, she thought, her heart aching. Where are you?
***
Rainbow Dash stood there, her body frozen to the ground as her father just started at her intensely.
"Well?" he asked, leaning closer. "What do you need?"
Rainbow shook her head, trying to focus her gaze.
"Dad...?"
He seemed to have been hit by a ton of bricks, sitting back in his chair.
"Rainbow Dash? Is it really you?"
"Yes," she exclaimed breathlessly. "I've looked for you and mom everywhere!"
The cyan pegasus raced around the desk and leapt into her father's strong arms. She cried into her father's chest as he stroked her hair.
"My, my. Rainbow Dash..." he whispered gently.
Rainbow Dash looked up at him with red eyes, her lips forming a smile.
"I thought you two were dead," Rainbow said.
"Why would you think that?" He asked with a chuckle. Rainbow Dash leaned back away from her father, clearing her throat.
As Rainbow Dash explained her story, her father listening closely. She skipped the part about Fluttershy beating up Soarin' and her coma, the thought bringing tears. She finished, examining her father's face.
"You've come a long way," he murmured, tapping a hoof on his chin. When Rainbow Dash nodded violently he laughed, hugging her once more.
"Well, kiddo, I've gotta finish work."
"But, how can I see you--"
"Meet me at Sugar Cube Corner at 7:00 p.m.," he said firmly. "I'm sure you are tired."
As much as Rainbow Dash hated to admit it, he was right. She was tired and wanted to see Fluttershy. With a final hug she turned away and headed to the exit of the Weather Factory. Rainbow Dash happily skipped through the door with a giggle, crouching to the ground. As she snapped open her wings to take flight, a familiar voice came from behind her.
"Well, look who's excited."
Grinding her teeth, Rainbow Dash slowly turned around to see somepony that crushed her mood entirely; Soarin'.

Chapter 10: Forever
Rainbow Dash gazed at Soarin', her eyes wide as his expression wasn't filled with anger or hate. He looked sad and hurt, his eyes dull.
"What do you want, Soarin'?" she asked hotly, shifting her hooves. Her eyes roamed over him slowly. "You look awful."
Soarin' had bandages wrapped around his side that were stained with a crimson color. His hair was ruffled and out of place, another bandage wrapped around his forehead.
"I wanted to apologize," he muttered, ignoring her last comment. Rainbow Dash raised her eyebrows with an embarrassed look, turning away from the light blue pegasus. She ruffled her wings while clearing her throat, not meeting his gaze.
"Thank-you, Soarin', but I have to go now; I have to check on Fluttershy." Rainbow Dash emphasized Fluttershy which made Soarin' flinch, backing away. Rainbow Dash shot him an icy glance, spreading her wings to take off.
"Excuse me," she muttered, dashing off to Ponyville.
***
Fluttershy slowly got out of bed as she heard the others leave the house. They had told her they all were going to find a doctor, but Fluttershy knew better than that. She knew that as soon as Rainbow busted through that door and saw the yellow pegasus, she would get very affectionate. Quickly.
Fluttershy slowly walked down the stairs, pausing when she got a little dizzy. Finally she made it down the winding stairs and reached the door, pressing an ear against it. She could hear the muffled sound of wings, bringing a smile to her lips.
When she walks through that door, I'll give her a kiss! The thought made Fluttershy blush and she hugged herself tightly. She got ready to pounce as the beating of wings grew louder, narrowing her eyes slightly. The door swung open violently, causing Fluttershy to back away suddenly.
"Fluttershy!?"
Fluttershy grabbed Rainbow Dash's wrist and pushed her against the wall, smiling slightly. She gasped as she was moved quickly, lifting her gaze. Fluttershy was now pinned against the wall, a shocked Rainbow Dash hovering over her. A slow smirk spread over her lips, pushing closer into Fluttershy. The yellow pegasus felt her face heat up as Rainbow Dash got closer, hiding behind a curtain of hair. Rainbow Dash lifted her chin until they were at eye level with each other, moving away her hair with her other hoof.
"Why are you blushing? You were the one who tried to pin me, Flutters," she whispered, dropping her voice. Fluttershy shivered; She loved hearing Rainbow talk to her like that.
"Rainbow Dash," she breathed, trying to press into the wall. Rainbow Dash shook slightly as she held back her emotions. She wanted Fluttershy to ask her to do it. Rainbow Dash pushed against the yellow pegasus, smirking slightly as she let out a tiny gasp.
"Rainbow Dash... kiss me!"
Rainbow Dash didn't take a second thought or hesitate. She moved swiftly, pressing her lips against Fluttershy's. The yellow pegasus squeaked in response, wrapping her hooves around Rainbow's neck and pulled her closer. Rainbow Dash bit her lower lip as if asking for an entrance. Fluttershy blushed furiously and opened her mouth wider for the excited pegasus. Rainbow Dash slipped her tongue into her mouth, exploring it with a burning sensation of one thing; desire.
Fluttershy could feel Rainbow Dash growing hotter by the second, her expert tongue driving the yellow pegasus crazy. Rainbow Dash broke the kiss, panting heavily along with Fluttershy. When Fluttershy opened her mouth to get more air Rainbow Dash swooped back down and kissed her again, her tongue exploring her mouth thoroughly. Fluttershy was still new to kissing and didn't know how to move her tongue properly or please Rainbow Dash. She tried to copy the cyan pegasi's movements, narrowing her eyes slightly. Rainbow Dash pulled away with a small laugh, licking her lips slowly.
"I'm going to have to teach you how to kiss later," she breathed, grinning down at Fluttershy. They yellow pegasus giggled at Rainbow Dash, kissing her jaw gently. Rainbow Dash pushed her against the wall with a mischievous look, shaking her head.
"Not this time, Flutters. It's my turn to make you mine."
Mine. It echoed with a brilliant light in Fluttershy, making her take in a shaking breath. She was going to be Rainbow Dash's and no pony else could have her. The thought brought excitement to her and she didn't realize that she was pulling at Rainbow's mane.
"Getting a bit impatient, are we?" she cooed, kissing Fluttershy's neck. Rainbow Dash scooped up Fluttershy bride's maid style and snapped open her wings, flying up to the bedroom. She gently put Fluttershy down on the bed, pushing on her chest gently to make her lie down.
"Now," Rainbow began, pulling out one of Fluttershy's wings. "I do wish we had a strap-on..." Fluttershy blushed lightly, not meeting the cyan pegasi's gaze.
"Is there something you're not telling me?" Rainbow Dash asked, massaging Fluttershy's extended wing. She arched her back slightly as Rainbow Dash nipped at her wing, squeaking in pain and pleasure.
"T-Twilight has one I think," Fluttershy admitted. "I heard her talking about it with the girls. It was your early birth-day present." Rainbow Dash felt a wide grin tug on her lips, sitting up.
"Do you know where it is?" she asked seductively. "I'd like to be your first."
The thought sent a bolt of pleasure through Fluttershy, nodding swiftly as she whispered, "Under her bed." Rainbow Dash laughed slightly, leaping off and headed towards Twilight's bed slowly. She crouched and peaked under the bed, seeing nothing.
"Fluttershy, it's not here--"
She was cut off as Fluttershy pounced on her, knocking the air from her body. Fluttershy pinned Rainbow Dash on her back, grinning wryly.
"Ugh, you sneaky thing!" Rainbow Dash playfully scolded, trying to push her off. Fluttershy dropped a box onto Rainbow Dash's stomach, eyeing her closely. The cyan pegasus picked it up and turned it to face her, laughing loudly.
"Geez, Twilight went all out for this!" she exclaimed, opening it with her teeth. Fluttershy gasped as Rainbow grabbed her, soaring onto the bed. She held Fluttershy on the bed, holding up the strap-on to her face.
"Ready?"
"Y-yes..."
As Rainbow secured the strap on, Fluttershy felt knots in her stomach. I can do this. she thought.
"You don't have to hold your breath you know," Rainbow told her, making the yellow pegasus take in a deep breath.
"I-I know. I'm just a bit nervous," she admitted. Rainbow Dash caressed her face gently, smiling softly.
"I'll be gentle," Rainbow promised. That made Fluttershy feel a whole lot better, her body relaxing instantly.
Rainbow Dash kissed her neck, nibbling and licking. Fluttershy gasped and arched her back, feeling Rainbow Dash smile against her skin. She traveled lower, continuing to nip at her.
"Aw," she breathed. "you were ready from the start, weren't you?" Rainbow Dash looked at Fluttershy's slick mare hood, her eyes full of lust. Fluttershy covered her face with her hooves, tensing up once more. Rainbow moved her hooves away, leaning close to her.
"Don't be embarrassed," she said gently. "I think it's lovely."
Fluttershy nodded and closed her eyes as she felt the strap-on touch her sensitive flesh.
"On three. One," Rainbow Dash whispered.
"Two," Fluttershy gasped out. Rainbow Dash smiled, closing her eyes.
"Three."
She cried out as Rainbow Dash entered her, the strap-on going deep.
"R-rainbow!" she gasped, squeezing her eyes shut. Rainbow Dash placed her hooves over Fluttershy's, pulling out and going back in. Fluttershy arched her back as Rainbow Dash repeated this motion and waned to cover her face, making the cyan pegasus tighten her grip on Fluttershy's hooves.
"No," she breathed. "I want to see your face."
Fluttershy moaned in response, Rainbow Dash thrusting harshly into her. She felt a strange sensation build up in her, moans escaping her. Rainbow Dash growled and began to thrust at a steady pace, never moving her gaze from Fluttershy's face. The yellow pegasus arched her back as the sensation built, her eyes open wide with a cry of pleasure. She realized that Rainbow liked it rough. That made Fluttershy even more excited. She gripped the bed sheets and squirmed under her.
"R-rainbow, I-I'm close!" she gasped.
Rainbow Dash locked her eyes with Fluttershy's, going faster. Fluttershy was able to break an arm free of Rainbow's grasp, reaching up to her mane. She pulled at Rainbow's hair, making her growl in response. Each time she pulled hard enough or in the right way, Rainbow would push harder and faster into her. Fluttershy screamed as she grew closer, the pleasure becoming to much for the pegasus. Rainbow Dash moaned as Fluttershy screamed out again, panting heavily.
"Fluttershy. Let it go. Do it now," she commanded harshly, thrusting as hard as she could.
As if on queue, Fluttershy screamed on the top her lungs, hugging Rainbow's neck as she orgasmed. Her body shook violently, Rainbow Dash using a hoof to support the yellow pegasus. They both breathed heavily as they stayed in that position, not wanting to move and break the moment.
"Rainbow Dash," Fluttershy breathed, gazing at the strap-on still inside her. "did you...?"
The cyan pegasus nodded firmly, giggling.
"It was mainly because of you," Rainbow Dash admitted.
Fluttershy blushed, Rainbow Dash pulling out of her slowly. As Rainbow Dash removed the strap-on she caught the yellow pegasi's gaze, grinning.
"Blushing again, are we?"
They both laughed, Rainbow Dash lowering herself beside Fluttershy.
"I'm just embarrassed at how I acted," Fluttershy said weakly. Rainbow Dash raised her eyebrows, obviously surprised. She planted a kiss on her cheek and pulled her in for an embrace. Fluttershy snuggled into her chest as Rainbow spoke.
"You shouldn't be embarrassed," she began, stroking her pink hair. "I like the way you scream, the way you grip the bed sheets and pull on my mane. I love it." Fluttershy grinned and moved closer, not wanting an inch of air between them.
"Now, sleep Flutters. We're going to see my dad later."
Fluttershy lifted her head as tears threatened her eyes.
"You found them?"
"Yes."
Fluttershy rested her head back onto Rainbow's chest, listening to her calming heartbeat.
"I love you Rainbow Dash," she mumbled as she drifted off to sleep. Rainbow Dash tightened her grip on the yellow pegasus.
"I love you more, Fluttershy," she whispered, even though she was fast asleep.
***
Rainbow Dash woke up to the sound of ponies entering the room, blinking away sleep. She looked up at her friends who all seemed as happy as Rainbow was in the moment, oblivious to the awoken Rainbow Dash. They all left except Twilight, who walked around to the side of the bed. She picked up the strap-on with her magic, giggling slightly.
"Good job, Fluttershy. I knew you could let her."
Rainbow Dash waited until the purple alicorn walked away, glancing at a clock.
Time to go see father, she thought nervously. The cyan pegasus slowly moved out of bed as she tried not to wake up Fluttershy. Unfortunately, Fluttershy stirred with a yawn, opening her eyes to see Rainbow Dash. Rainbow wanted to see her sleep a little longer.
"Is it time?" she asked sleepily. When Rainbow Dash nodded she climbed out of bed reluctantly.
"Do you want me to go, Rainbow?" she asked. Rainbow Dash seemed shocked, looking at Fluttershy.
"Of course! I don't want to be away from you. I want you to meet my dad."
Fluttershy smiled, trotting towards the door with a hum. Rainbow Dash followed her, grinning as she shot at Fluttershy, picking her up. Fluttershy squealed happily and wrapped her hooves around Rainbow's neck, the cyan pegasus sliding down the railing of the stairs.
"Me and Fluttershy are going out and about!" she called out to her friends who were in the kitchen, giggling.
"Okay! Have fun!"
Rainbow Dash grinned widely, saluting her friends even though they couldn't see her.
"We will!"
The pink party pony screamed, leaped into the living room where Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were.
"Gook luck with your parents!" she screeched as Rainbow headed out the door. Rainbow Dash stopped, turning to Pinkie Pie with a strange look.
"How did...? Oh, never mind. Thanks, but I won't need it!"
When Rainbow Dash zipped away Pinkie Pie squealed, bouncing in the air.
"Oooooo! I'm so nervouscited!"
The rest of the friends joined her in the living room. Applejack rolled her eyes.
"How many times have I told you; that's not a real word."
***
Rainbow Dash made it to Sugar Cube Corner with Fluttershy, entering the small shop. She set down the yellow pegasus, looking around for her father. She gasped as she saw the mare with the black hair and rainbow tips, the pegasus grinning at her.
"Mom? And dad?" she cried, racing towards them. The three laughed and hugged, Fluttershy smiling widely. She waited until they were done, Rainbow Dash flying over to Fluttershy.
"Mom, dad, this is my girlfr-- uh, friend, Fluttershy," Rainbow said quickly, glancing at Fluttershy.
"We'll tell them later," Fluttershy whispered, the cyan pegasus nodding.
"How great it is to meet you!" her mother exclaimed, extending a hoof for Fluttershy to shake. She accepted it reluctantly, hiding behind her hair nervously. Rainbow's father did the same, making Fluttershy feel even more nervous.
"Right! Now mom, dad, we have a lot to catch you up on."
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy spent the day at Sugar Cube Corner with her parents, explaining their situation. Thankfully, they supported Rainbow and Fluttershy fully. They all ate sweets and told stories, sharing recent news. As the sun dipped behind the hills of Ponyville, Rainbow Dash got to her hooves.
"Well, I'm afraid we have to go," she said sadly, hugging her parents good-bye. Fluttershy did the same, smiling up at Rainbow Dash with bright eyes.
"We can go to my house this weekend," Fluttershy offered. They all accepted the offer, Fluttershy giving them the address. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy stepped outside, the sun almost sinking away completely. Rainbow Dash scooped up the yellow pegasus bride's maid style and flew off towards her cloud home.
"I had fun," Fluttershy yawned, hugging Rainbow Dash. She smiled softly, looking at the sunset.
"Me, too."
Fluttershy followed her eyes, grinning.
"Rainbow?"
"Yes, my love?" Rainbow asked, turning her attention back to the frail pegasus in her arms.
"Do you love me?"
"Of course."
Fluttershy looked up at they cyan pegasus with loving eyes.
"Forever?"
Rainbow Dash leaned in towards her, kissing Fluttershy. It wasn't a sloppy one like when they just woke up, or a quick one for a good-bye, or even when in the sexual moment. It was a kiss that was full of all of Rainbow Dash's feelings, a true passionate kiss that spoke for itself. A kiss that was special to the both of them. When Rainbow Dash pulled away she placed her forehead to Fluttershy's, a grin on her face.
"Forever."
