I walk alongside Cadence, we are the king and queen of the Crystal Empire, even though we aren't married. We move at an even pace as my tail swishes about, the others had gone and went around t look at stores, sights or my crystals. I look to my left and see a mare, she has a black coat, cerulean slit eyes, a purple flowing mane that has the stars in them. She wears torn up white cloths and collapses.

I rush over to her and kneel down. Looking at her, she looks like Nightmare Moon, but her mane isn't cyan, and her cutie mark is different. Instead of the blue crescent moon, on this mare's hip its a purple shield with a crescent moon on it. She looks up at me with weak and tired eyes, they hold years of pain and sadness in them.

"Please...hel-help me...." She says in a whisper, she must be beyond tired, hungry and thirsty. I nod my head and pick her up gently. I turn and see Cadence has a worried look on her face.

"We need to get her to the castle's medical room." I tell her. She nods her head and the two of us fly back towards the castle, bellow us the others follow suite. We pass over buildings and I land on he crystals, but I skid across the ground. I dig my toe claws into the crystals and deep claw marks run out behind me. When I stop it's at the castle entrance, I move to a white crystalline guard. "Get the castle doctors and tell them we will meet them in the medical ward." I order, the guard nods her head and runs inside before me. Cadence and I teleport into the medical ward and I place the mare onto a spare bed.

The doctor runs in and is followed by Nurse Sky Rift. The doctor is a unicorn and has a brown fur coat. Sky Rift is a Pegasus and she has a peal white coat, she looks a lot like Fluttershy but her mane and tail are light blue with yellow lightning streaks going through them. The too hook the mare up to a heart monitor machine, a water bag as well as place a cool wet washcloth onto her forehead. The mare holds my hand tightly, her hand trembles and I feel fear course through her as she looks around the room, and when she looks at me. I look back at her and smile softly. I rub her hand gently with a thumb and she starts to calm down.

"Your going to be okay miss. We just need to get some bandages onto your form, and- " She stops him. She points to me and Cadence then to the bandages, then back to herself. The doctor nods his head. "Alright. We will come back in after the bandages are on her. Okay?" He says to me. I nod my head, he and the nurse had out of the room, closing it behind them. I look at the mare, she has a bit of light sparkle in her eyes, and I get a strange feeling. I push it from my mind and grab the bandages, Cadence already wrapping her injured shins. I look at her torn up dress and make an awkward glance to her.

"It's o-okay...You haven't a-attacked me as of yet, I t-trust you two...." She says softly. I nod and take her torn dress off and wrap the bandages just beneath her breasts. She looks to be a D-cup, just like Cadence, and they are soft, yet firm as well, her hips are somewhat wide while her belly lays flat with a slight top to it, her curves are amazing, she blushes, as do I. As I finish bandaging her ribs and belly, I notice that she has whip marks going down her backside, chains are locked onto her wrists and ankles. I surge of anger flashes in my eyes as I place a hand onto her shoulder gently. She looks back at me.

"Whoever hurt you, will not get to you. I promise." I say to her. She gives me a grateful look as I bandage up her broken wings, Cadence wraps a bandage around her forehead and breasts, a cloth skirt to cover her buttock and flower. I open the door as te doctor and Sky Rift look at the mare's vitals.

"Now what is your name?" He asks. She shies away. It then clicks, she is shy, it must have been hard to ask for us to bandage her up, let alone ask us for help. "Shy huh? I understand. Why not tell the king your name? You seem to trust him." He says indicating to me. She nods her head and I move my ear to her face.

"My name is Nyx, but...they called me Nightmare Nyx. I don't like it, please call me Nyx...please...." She whispers into my ear. I nod my head and look at the doctor.

"Her name is Nyx." I tell him. He nods his head and asks her, her age. She whispers to me again. "19 years old." He nods again as he asks where she came from. She starts to tear up and he apologizes quickly after getting a look at the marks and chains. He and Sky Rift leave the room. Nyx squeezes mine and Cadence's hands tightly as the others enter the room. They stop and stare at Nyx, before looking at Nightmare, and back again.

"There's two of you now?" Luna asks. Nightmare shakes her head and stares at Nyx.

"No, she just looks like me. But even that is rather startling. What's her name?" Mother Nightmare asks me. I look up at her and feel Nyx's hand grip tighter an tremble.

"Her name is, Nyx. She looks like a slave. We found her collapsed in an alley way." I tell them. They nod and give her sad looks before they gasp as Nyx leans onto me, her eyes closed and she trembles from all the new ponies staring at her. "She's shy. She'll get used to you, just not right away. It must have took a lot of her courage to ask for help and let us bandage her as well." She shakes her head to us, bringing us in closer to herself. Cadence and I blush but sit on either side of her.

"It looks like she trusts you two with her life, which is probably not far from the truth. She also has a similar feel to you, Xenilla." Celestia says. Nyx's eyes go wide and she stares up at me. I look down at her and her eyes tremble slightly, place a hand onto her cheek and she calms down.

"Hey, your okay. No pony or body will hurt you here, okay?" I tell her. She nods her head and looks at Cadence who place a hand onto her shoulder and nods. Nyx breaths out and calms down, but keeps Cadence and I close to her. We talk to the others while Nyx keeps us close, even in her sleep. Cadence gave me a look and nodded her head. I blinked and tilted my head. She smiles and shrugs before she lay down next to Nyx. I smirk and sit against the wall, my spines imbedding themselves into the wall.

It has been around a week since Nyx arrived. Cadence and I stay by her as she rests, but she seems to like us. I have been noticing that she and Cadence have grown on each other. Nyx and her would even talk to each other and point at me and blush or giggle. It's been pretty fun, long and tedious, but fun. We generally fall asleep, them in my arms or with my in a half nest like shape around them. Some of my crystal spines have been becoming like a shell, as well as my dreams of watching a large crystal lizard and weird monster turtle that start o fuse together with my old human form, pretty cool if you ask me.

I wake up feeling two warm things in my lap. I crack open an eye and see that both Cadence and Nyx are curled up in my lap. I smirk as the two of them hug each other while sleeping. I lean down slightly and rub their cheeks softly as to not disturb them. I sit there tail my tail swishing around from side to side in an odd sense of happiness. I sit there and watch over them for a few hours until Cadence and Nyx wake up, they both go to yawn but end up kissing by accident from how close their muzzles are to the others. Their eyes go wide and their cheeks flush.

I chuckle slightly as the two of them look up at me at the same time, both questioning how they got into my lap. I hold up my hand in defeat and defense.

"I didn't do anything, I woke up a few hours ago, the two of you were hugging each other while laying in my lap. You both seemed happy so I decided to not disturb you two, however I did watch over you two. I want nothing hurting you, Cadence, or you, Nyx." I tell them. Cadence 'awes' while Nyx covers her mouth with a hand stifling a gasp, but then blinks and looks down at her body. Her marks are gone, her coat is shinier as is her mane, tail and eyes. She then looks up and see that pink energy is crackling off o my shoulder crystals. "I completely forgot I could heal ponies...huh." I say aloud. She smiles and hugs me gently. I hug her gently back, however I feel something more burn inside of her form that is replacing loneliness. But what could she be feeling?

"Um...Thank you." She whispers softly to me. I smile and nod my head.

"Anytime, although where will you go?" I ask. She gets a sad look in her eyes before I chuckle and place a hand on top of her head. "I'm teasing you, your staying here, with us!" I say. She smiles a happy smile as Cadence place a hand onto her shoulder and whispers something into Nyx's ear. I see Nyx's eyes go wide and her cheeks flush slightly as she nods her head softly, glancing at me every so often.

"What's going on?" I ask. Cadence gives me half lidded eyes and kisses me deeply, causing me to purr.

"Oh you know, making a herd for us. The usual." She says nonchalantly. I blink before my eyes widen.

"Like what my father did with my mothers?" I ask. Cadence giggles and nods her head softly, Nyx keeps blushing. Cadence nuzzles Nyx softly, Nyx gently and tentatively nuzzles her back. I smile at the two of tem. Nyx moves close to me slowly, and then nuzzles the nape of the left side of my neck, while Cadence dos the same to my left. I wraps my arms around them gently and hold them close. They hold onto me for maybe an hour until the door opens. We look up and see the doctor staring at Nyx with his mouth agape.

"How did you heal so quickly!?" He asks. She points t my shoulder crystals as they spark with pink electric energy. "Amazing, if we could utilize your abilities, it could benefit us!" HE exclaims. I move uneasily and awkward with the doctor and in from my face.

"Um...okay, but please move back a little...your um, kinda close. Eheh..." I chuckle out nervously. He moves back and nods hs head.

"Right, now then, may I take a sample?" He asks me. I form a large crystal that sparks the same kind of energy.

"You can't use this all the time, I will need to refill it with more energy, it'll get darker and darker until is goes pitch black, then it is out of energy and is capable of exploding onto anything or one.

"Right, understood sir." The doctor says as he leaves the room, the crystal in his hand. I sigh when Spike struts through the door.

"Sup." He says to us. Nyx tries to hide behind me while Cadence drapes a wing over her and I stare at him. A brow raised as he approaches us. "So your Nyx eh? Cute name." He states. I nod and wrap my arms around my mates. "Claimed her already eh? Good for you, I just came to say hello to her, I was out with my wives for a bit." He explains before sitting down in a chair, he stares at Nyx. "So do you like Xenilla?" He asks. Nyx looks up at me an smiles before nodding to Spike. "Cool, I heard you were injured, how were you healed?" He asks. Nyx places a hand on one of my shoulder crystals gently, I shivers slightly and a blush forms on my face. Spike laughs hard ad falls out of his chair.

"You shouldn't laugh at others. It can end badly for you...." Nyx says. Spike looks at her flatly.

"Really? And why not, hm?" He says. Nyx gets a sad look in her eyes.

"I did that....and spent 17 years of my life, making it up, until I managed to break free from my slavery." She says as she raises a hand and jingles the chain slightly. Spike stares at her sadly.

"I'm sorry, but there is a difference between poking fun, and doing so out of malice." Spike says before looking at me, his eyes hard. "If you make her unhappy, your sister's will know about it." He states before leaving by side step. I look down at Nyx.

"Your going to be safe here, and I hope happy as well." I smile down to her. Nyx smiles up at me and moves her muzzle to mine and we share a soft kiss before parting. I smile at Nyx and Cadance. I stand to my feet, the two of them follow as we walk down the hallway and walk into the throne room. I see my own throne but no third throne. I open my hand an a third throne forms into my right, Cadence's throne is on my left. I walk over to a strange black machine, I plug my IPod into it and I play some of the music my father left behind.

"What is this music?" Nyx asks as she can't but help move around to the beat. Cadence and I chuckle as I blast up the volume.

"It's what my father used to listen to back on his world, before it was ended." I tell her. She looks at me sadly. "But don't worry, I saw the logs when I as sealed into that chamber, did you know I was in there since I was one for 17 years, when in actuality it was only a day in a half?" I explained to her. Her eyes widened.

"You were forced to that kind of torture!?" Nyx says. I nod my head as Cadence whimpers remembers what happened.

"Zeus, my grandfather had kidnapped me and Cadence, aged me as he tortured Cadence here. When she screamed my name, something inside me snapped, and then the war as starting to end." I explained.

"War?" She asks, we nod our heads.

"The war that took Cadence's old husband from her, and my father from me." I sigh sadly.

"Who were they?" She asks.

"Shinning Armor was my old husband, he's still around, but he said we have his blessings to be together. He is now the spirit in Xenilla's sword. He died after Richard had destroyed this Empire a few years back." Cadence says.

"And I was born right after Richard's death. Then the world war had started when I was one. Griffins, Minotaur's, Dragons along with some of the Olympians fought with us and our allies. It was a rather long war lasted for close to two years long. I was taken along with Cadence, and in my chamber I was forced to train and ascend in multiple aspects, even do a few fights with monsters and clones of all those I held dear. But in the end, my father had me seal him and Zeus away in the Lava Pit. But he isn't dead, just asleep, Ovan is his other half and can only live if he is alive, which he is." I explain to her. She nods her head before hugging tightly and gives me another soft gentle kiss.

"I hope when he wakes up, I'll get to meet him. He sounds like a wonderful man." She says.

"King."

"Huh?"

"He was and is the king of Equestria, and I am positive if he wanted to, the world." Cadence tells her. Nyx stares at me before I nod my head in affirmation.

"That's amazing! So if he were to truly want to ,and were awake, he could rule the rule?" She asks. We both nod and we go and meet with the other, the music turns off on it's own after we leave. We arrive at a restraint, today is the last day they will be here, which makes me sad, but I understand as to why.

"Took you three long enough." Ovan says. He smiles at Nyx and holds a hand out. "Name's, Ovan. Nice to see you in person, Miss Nyx." He says.

"Just Nyx please. I don't feel right being called 'Miss'." She says. Ovan nods his head and laughs, exposing his large sharp teeth.

"Right then, well, we gotta head out here. We'll be back in a few months when we know you'll need our help. You two keep him out of trouble alright? See yah around...." Ovan says as everyone starts to dissipate an use his technique of teleporting back to the castle. I look at the two of them and smile.

"Lets head back home girls." I say to them. They nod their heads and we head back to the castle, unaware of a large creature slumbering, while the black crystal fire's a red beam, to try and free it.
