Prologue
She looked at the mirror in disgust.
" You're a monster", she said to her reflection.
Her reflection smiled back at her.
" I am you, so if I'm a monster, so are you", the reflection replied.
She stared at the mirror, before replying.
" I know..."
" You're a fool", the reflection interrupted, " You act so happy and smile all the time, yet you're not. You hide your true self, in hope that nopony will see the real you, why?"
She gasped, then stuttered, " because I want everypony to be happy and make them smil..."
The reflection laughed, cruelly, " You can't lie to me. I am you. You're just scared. Scared that everyone will hate you, and never speak to you again, you're scared. Scared, Scared, Scared..."
She smashed the mirror, interrupting the reflection. She then broke down in tears, her mane straight.
She heard a tiny voice from the broken pieces of the mirror.
" Hide all you want, one day they will find out.They will never speak to you again. They will see you for the monster you truly are"
She started smashing the broken glass. Her hooves became bloody, but she did not care. She just wanted the voices to stop.They did not.
She screamed and screamed, trying to drown them out, but their voices were louder.
" STOP!", she screamed, " STOP".
She lay down in the midst of the smashed up glass, sobbing. The voices taking over her mind.
She was hurting physically and mentally. Her body was stained with blood and tears.
She was a monster, and there was nothing she could do about it.
