"Hey Barb! Can you go to Zecora and pick up those tea leaves that I asked her about?!" a purple unicorn asked from the living room.

"Alright! You can stop yelling now!" I replied, slightly annoyed since I was awakened from my sleep.

Hi there! My names Barbara Sparkle but every pony in Ponyville calls be Barb. I am a 15 year old female dragon living here in this town. You heard me! I'm a dragon! Well........I'm still considered a baby dragon, even though I'm only a few years younger than my sis, Twilight.

Anyways, I grumbled from being awoken so abruptly, but I knew I had no choice as Twi would just lift my ass and just send me there anyways. So I stood up and lazily made my way to the cabinet. Once near it, I opened the cabinet and browsed at my selection of clothes.

"Ugh...What to wear...." I trialled off, trying to think of what to wear to go to Zecora's. In the end, I sighed before grabbing a light green shirt and a purple skirt. Since I was still tired, I fumbled a bit with my clothes, before finally being able to wear them. Once that was done, I took my favorite purple jacket with light green stripes going in a horizontal pattern. This jacket was actually a present from my 'mom' when I was 10, so I made sure I treasured it well.

Once I was done, I made my way down the stairs, giving off a loud yawn who he'd caused my sis to turn to me when I reached the living room.

"I see you're awake now" Twilight said, smirking at me.

I let out a small grunt before answering. "Ya well, it's no thanks to you"

She giggled before she faced me.

Twilight is a unicorn mare who is also the student of our very princess, Princess Celestia, or I call her sometimes, Mom. Anyways, the reason why she is my 'sis' is because she hatched me when she was applying to enter Celestias Gifted School for Unicorns. Unfortunately, her magic went haywire (hehe hay) and caused me to grow so huge in which my head literary tore off the roof. She also told me that she had also turned her parents into potted plants for a while. Hilarious I tell ya.

Anyways, Twilight, as with all the other sentient beings in this world, is an.....is an ant-anthr....antromorph.....ugh what's that word again....

"It's anthropomorphic!" a bubbly voice suddenly said behind me.

"AIIYEEEE!!!" I screamed, causing Twilight to flinch.

"P-Pinkie!! H-How did you...?!" I tried to question her, but since she IS Pinkie Pie, I was doomed to not get an answer.

"Pinkie...please don't do that..." I my sis sighed.

"Hehe....sorry Twi! Oh no! I forgot! I'm supposed to help the Cakes take care of the twins! Well see ya Twi" Pinkie said before she flung herself out of the door.

"That Pinkie....Anyways, you take care alright?" Twilight said, expecting an answer.

I sighed and calmed myself before I answered her. " I know sis. Everfree forest is dangerous because bla bla bla bla"

She shook her head, laughing a bit at my antics. "Oh you...Off with you now"

I opened the door and stepped out, taking notice on how busy the ponies are at this time. I turned behind and told Twilight, "I'll be back later, ok?".

She nodded before I closed my door, my destination now being the Everfree forest.

While I'm walking, I should continue what I said. So, every sentient being in this world is, as what Pinkie said, an anthropomorphic, even me! Anyways, there are 3 different kinds of ponies, Unicorns, Pegasus and the Earth Ponies. My sister is a unicorn, meaning she can do really cool magic. The pegasi are ponies with wings, which allows them to fly. Not to mention that they are capable of manipulating the weather. Lastly, there's the earth ponies. Even though they don't have a horn nor have wings, they have a really special connection to Mother Equis, which makes them really great cultivators.

*Bump*

Ooof! I wasn't paying attention just now and I apparently hit a fence. Luckily, I recognized the place and realized I was at Fluttershy's cottage. I should probably say "hi" to her.

With a sidetrack 'mission', I continued to walk until I could see a wide open area and a faint figure feeding a bear in the distance.

"HEY FLUTTERSHY!!" I yelled, causing the figure to jump and slightly flutter in air until she turned behind and noticed I was grinning at her. The figure gradually went closer up until I could finally see Fluttershy, looking as introverted as ever. She was sporting a light green jacket with a yellow blouse underneath and a pink skirt. Her pink mane looking really slick and smooth and her butter yellow fur coat being very well groomed.

"Hi there Barb. Are you going to Zecora's place?" She asked me

I nodded before replying, "Ya. Twi wanted me to pick up some tea leaves that she asked for"

Fluttershy nodded in acknowledgement. "Okay then. But be careful alright?" She asked, always sounding a mother looking after her foal.

"I know, I know. See ya later Flutters!" I said as she gradually disappeared in the distance.

Once I entered the forest, the was a sudden nostalgic feeling that came to me, a memory I don't ever want to remember. As I went deeper in the forest, I could hear a faint swirling noise. I slowly became louder and louder. I stopped walking before listening again, the swirling became louder and louder until it stopped altogether. I was confused for a moment, that was until I heard a soft groan.

"Ughhh....my head. Oh god....." the faint voice said.

'God? What the buck is it talking about?' I asked myself.

I slowly walked towards where I thought it came from. The only thing that stood between me and that now audible voice is a bush. 'Oh bush, show me what secrets lie beyond' I thought smirking, before I pushed it aside.

I stepped forward, minding a couple of twigs that poked me. In front of my very eyes was this odd Diamond Dog....looking thing. It was wearing some sort of jacket with some black...pants I think. Beside it was a bag and some sort of container. I played smart and stayed a few meters away from it. I was thinking of whether speaking to it, but i doubt that would work, however, I still tried nonetheless.

"What are you...?" I asked it softly. That seemed to get it's attention as it stopped rubbing its head and turned behind. The first thing that I saw was how blue his eyes were. They looked like the sapphires that Rarity uses when she made her famous aqua blue dress for a small beauty contest that was held in Ponyville.

We didn't utter a word for quite some time. It was only me and the creature, both of us just staring at each other. I decided to break the silence.

"Polar Bear!" I yelled out loud.

'Shit. That didn't come out as I expected it' I thought. Just before I could do anything, the creature followed up with a sentence that I recalled from somewhere.

"....Well that broke the ice, didn't it?" I heard speak in a male voice, telling me that this creature is definitely a stallion. The silence lasted for a couple more seconds before I saw him grin. I don't know why but I was unable to find myself smiling back at him. Thankfully he has a sense of humor.

"Hehehe....That went better than the both of us expected now, didn't it?" I heard him ask. He stood up and dusted off his jacket and his pants. I giggled before taking another look at him. Inside his jacket, he was wearing a dark blue shirt with a red stripe going horizontal, near the collar.

"Well....I guess introductions are a must. My names Micheal Lorenz or Mike for short" Mike said, putting out a hand for me to shake.

"Micheal? That's a weird name for a weird creature. Anyways, my names Barbara Sparkle" I said, grabbing his hand, giving a firm handshake.

"Heh. Calling me weird eh? Ya sure....says the talking dragon that doesn't exist" Mike said, grinning at me.

"Puh-lease! I don't even know what you are!" I replied back, putting both of my hands on my hips, giving him an 'not amused' face.

"Right.....Anyways, I would love to tell ya what I am but can you tell me first, where am I?" he asked

"You're in Equestria now bub. More specifically, in the Everfree forest" I replied.

I saw him put a finger on his forehead and heard him say 'Equestria' many times. He soon crossed his arms before he looked back at me. "Nope, can't seem to think of anything with that name" I heard him say.

I sighed before asking him to follow me. He seemed rather hesitant at first but soon complied when he realized that if he didn't he would be alone in this bizarre forest.

'Oh goodness....How would Twilight react when she finds out about him' I thought at first. After thinking about it, I thought to my self 'Buck that' and continued to walk along the path heading towards Zecora's hut.
