Episode I
It is the time of terror in the land of Equestria. After Order 66 was issued, Luna has finally taken her sisters throne as queen of Equestria with Twilight Sparkle by her side and Celestia is now under house arrest.
Charming Thunder, nephew of Luna and Celestia, has not approved Luna's actions and has been thrown in the Canterlot dungeon for treason against the New Lunar Republic.
A few days passed after the invention of hologram transmissions and space ships, Princess Twilight Sparkle now heads to her colt friend's cell to see how he is feeling....
Equestria Wars Episode I: Fall of the New Lunar Republic
Twilight Sparkle, daughter of Princess Luna, continues her stroll to the prison cells. The sounds of spaceships were coming from out side of the hallway. Along the way she saw the spaceship flyby the window. It had two hexagon wings which can land on the surface and a cockpit which almost looks a lot like an eye ball. Once she arrived at the cell door with her closest friend before she earned her wings, she asked the guard to unlock the door to let her enter. The door then shut behind her and she saw her friend Charming Thunder in chains on both his arms and legs with his head looking down to the floor. It had been a long time since her last visit and...he hasn't changed a bit. "You're alive," Twilight said without question.
"How long this time?" Charming Thunder coughed.
"Thirteen days in this prison cell. Impressive." Twilight then walked up closer to see how he is feeling.
"Magic...gives me all I need." The sunlight then shone on Charming Thunder to reveal bruises from the torture he received from the guards. As Twilight came closer, he then asked, "How is...Aunt Celestia?"
"Oh she is safe," Twilight said. "I just want to see how YOU are feeling today." She then turned to leave the cell as she said, "I let you live for a reason and I want you to think about joining me."
Charming Thunder then looked up and said, "As long as you live," Twilight then stopped to listen. "I...will always love you." Twilight then continued to exit the cell and levitated it open and as it closed, Charming Thunder then looked back down to the ground.
Luna was at a window close to her throne as she observed a group of two skeletal looking cruisers blockading Canterlot. A group of shadow bolts squadron fighters then flew past the fleet as they continued their patrol. A robot entered the throne room as she was observing. It had red eyes and was holding an electro staff. It was none other than a magna guard, a bodyguard that was created to protect Luna. "What is it?" Luna asked.
The magna guard then knelt down to the presence of the queen and replied, "Your daughter is here."
"Send her in."
"Yes, your majesty." The bodyguard then got up and left the room to let Twilight know that she can enter.
"How is he?" Luna asked.
"Charming Thunder is fine," Twilight replied. "Although...he had a couple of bruisers on him."
"I thought I told the guards to take it easy on him with the torturing."
"I thought so too." A knock then came to the door as the guest entered the room. Shining Armor then bowed to the presence of the queen and his sister.
"I have come to let you know that the magna guards are going to interrogate Charming Thunder again," he said.
"Fine," Luna said. "But tell them to go easy on him this time."
"Yes, milady." He then bowed to her and left the room. Twilight then got a little worried and went with her BBBFF to make sure that he keeps his word.
Charming Thunder was struggling to break free from the chains until he heard a sound coming from outside of his cell. Was it a torture droid or was it just passing by? "Come to torture me some more?" Charming Thunder shouted. The door to his cell was then being sliced open as he struggled to break free. The door then slowly opened as a tiny little droid with one big eye float towards him. It then looked both ways to see if he is the only one in the room. It then floated towards him and began to scan him. It then blasted the chains that was holding him. He then fell to the floor and groaned as he got back up. The droid then lowered itself and played a hologram transmission of a white unicorn with a blonde mane and tail. It was his cousin Blueblood on a holo recording. "Hello, cousin," he said. "If you are wondering why you are out of your chains it is because I am helping you escape. I am on your side too. We can both work together to take down the New Lunar Republic and get back your friends. If you want to get out of here alive, you head to a nearest hangar and grab a YT-2400 light freighter." The hologram then showed the picture of the ship as Blueblood explained. "Before you head to the hanger, you must get aunt Celestia out of house arrest. She is being held in her room not far from the dungeon. Once you rescue her, head to Ponyville. Good luck." The transmission then ended as Charming Thunder heard footsteps coming this way. The droid then hid in the corner as he hid at the other side to wait for the right moment to escape. He then closed the door hid back in the corner with the droid. He then heard voices from outside of his cell as the door.
"I promise you that we can go easy on him, little sis," Shining Armor said as he unlocked the door. When he, the two magna guards, and Princess Twilight entered, they both noticed that the chains were broken. "How did he break out of those chains?" Charming Thunder then tiptoed out of the dungeon but before he had to leave, he slammed the dungeon door shut to make sure that he doesn't get chased by them.
"Hey," Twilight shouted. "Who just shut the door? We are still in here you know."
"Yes I do," Charming Thunder said as he walked away. Twilight then started shouting to the guards to get them out of the dungeon cell so that they can start pursuing Charming Thunder.
Princess Celestia has been in her room ever since her sister has taken her throne as queen of Equestria. She felt ashamed for lying to her favorite student. Outside of her room were two unicorn royal guards to make sure that she doesn't leave the room at all. She was lying in her bed till all of the sudden, she heard punching sounds coming from outside. She got up to hear at the door what is going on until the door opened to reveal an all messed up unicorn. "Charming Thunder?" Celestia said. "I thought you were in your cell."
"Lets just say that I had a little help," Charming Thunder said as he looked at the floating droid. "We got to hurry to the hangar and head to Ponyville."
"Why?"
"Blueblood is waiting for us there. If we can hurry, Twilight wouldn't have to-" He then stopped when he heard shouting coming from outside of the room. "We need to go. Now."
"Alright," Celestia said. They both exited the room and started running to the hangar so that they can get out of here. As the group left, Twilight arrived at Celestia's room to continue her chase but no one was in the room. She saw the two unicorn royal guards knocked out and the door left open.
"Find them, Shining," Twilight commanded. "I want them brought back here alive."
"Yes, your highness," Shining Armor replied as he started to run to the direction to the hangar as his first stop to look.
Charming Thunder and Celestia arrived at the hangar as a group of guards were chasing them. Charming Thunder saw the ship similar to the picture Blueblood showed him. They both then ran up the ramp to get inside the ship. They then came across the cargo area of the ship. Charming Thunder flipped a switch to raise the ramp to make sure that no one gets in the ship. Once the ramp was closed, he headed to the cockpit and strapped himself in and pressed some buttons to start the engines. The engines then roared to life as the guards entered the hangar. The guards were carrying blasters that has a stand under it. After the guards set their guns up, they aimed at the ship and started firing. Though the impact does not give the ship a scratch, a turret popped out of the bottom of the YT-2400 and started firing back at the guards. One of them got blasted in the chest and fell to the floor. The ship then started to lift off as the landing gears started to go up. The ship then exited the hangar in a flash in time for Shining Armor to enter. "Alert the cruisers that there is a ship heading towards them," he ordered.
The YT-2400 started flying straight towards the blockade as a Providence-class carrier was pursuing them firing turbo lasers at it. It had a hangar bay which can deploy fighters. Charming Thunder was holding the controls for the ship trying to maneuver the destroyers cannon fire. Celestia was strapped in to the chair next to him checking the shield percentage every time the ship was hit. The ships shield was at 89.4% and he had to do something. "Hang on to something, aunt Celestia," Charming Thunder said. "This might get bumpy." He then maneuvered through an opening on a Munificent-class star frigate to get past the blockade. Now they set for Ponyville to see what Blueblood wants to do next since they escaped.

Nothing has changed at Ponyville ever since Luna took Celestia's throne. It was just a peaceful town. However, Applejack is the only earth pony in town who serves Luna. The YT-2400 freighter arrived at the Carousel Boutique. The underground hangar doors opened as the ship came to a landing sequence. Once it touched the ground, the ramp on the side of the middle of the bracing arms of the cockpit as Princess Celestia and Charming Thunder walked down the ramp. "Are you sure that we will be safe here?" Celestia asked.
"Yes," Charming Thunder replied. "Rarity and Sweetie Belle are good friends of mine. you know that. Right?"
"Of course." They both then entered the elevator that leads back up to the main building. He was a little nervous to see how Rarity will feel for him being gone for so long just because he doesn't like Luna ruling Equestria. The elevator beeped to the floor he selected and as the doors opened he saw Rarity working a dress for a client.
She heard the door open and saw the red stallion all beaten up and gasped, "Charming Thunder!" She then rushed to him to give him a hug to show how worried she is. She then was shedding tears of joy and said, "Where have you been? Me, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Octavia were worried about you. What happened?"
Charming Thunder realized that she just said the name "Octavia." He then asked, "Where is she now? It has been so long since I last seen her."
"You two know each other?" Celestia asked.
"Yes. We were good friends before I moved to Ponyville. Since then, I missed her after that day. Do you know where she went?"
"She was just here before you got here." Charming Thunder then left the boutique in a hurry to find her old friend from Canterlot. When he got to the center of town he saw her enter the Sugarcube Corner so he ran to the door. When he opened the door, was ambushed by Pinkie hugging him so tight.
"Hi, Charming Thunder," Pinkie said as she got off of him. "Me and my friends were so, so, so, soooooo worried that you didn't come back not since you escaped the dungeon." Charming Thunder was surprised that she guessed where he was from the past thirteen day.
"I missed you too, Pinkie. I just saw Octavia come in here. Do you know where she went?" Pinkie then pointed to the table where she was sitting at. He then walked up to the table she was sitting at and sat next to her to surprise her.
"I hope that you are alright," Octavia said with a sad expression as she was looking out of the window.
"I am now," he said which caused her to turn around. She then gave him a tight hug and started to shed tears.
"I was worried about you. What happened to you? You're all bruised. Did you pick a fight with somepony?"
"Not exactly. I didn't like Luna's rule so she had her guards send me to the dungeon for treason against her Republic." Octavia was surprised of the story she was hearing. "So...how's it been since I left Canterlot?'
Octavia wiped a tear from her left eye and said, "It has been going well. Not till Luna stole Celestia's throne and that she now rules Equestria with an iron hoof."
"I heard that my cousin, Bluebood, is here. Do you know where I can find him?"
"I heard that he is at the library with Spike. Why?"
"He was the one who sent a Prowler 1000 exploration droid to get me out of here. And I had to rescue Celestia."
"Princess Celestia is HERE? I thought she was under house arrest."
"Well not anymore. Say. Why don't you tag along? I'm sure that you can help."
"With what exactly?"
"Whatever Blueblood needs." Octavia nodded in agreement and decided to leave Sugarcube Corner till Pinkie dashed to the door they were walking.
"Can I come too?" Pinkie asked.
"Sure," Charming Thunder replied. "Can you grab Fluttershy, Rarity, and Celestia and meet us at Twilight's library?"
"Okie dokie lokie!" She then bounced off to go fetch her friends and meet up at Twilight's library to find out what Blueblood wants.
Charming Thunder and Octavia arrived at the Golden Oaks Library along with Pinkie and the others. He opened the door and entered as he noticed that his cousin was reading a book. Blueblood looked up to notice the group and said, "Ah. I see that you made it, cousin."
"You broke me out of prison for a reason," Charming Thunder said. "What was it?" Blueblood then closed the book and placed it back on the shelf where he found it.
"You want to stop Luna do you?"
"Yes."
"Well I want to help."
"How?"
"We can form an alliance to rebel against her and her army. I have blueprints of space ships we can use."
"I do too. But they are back at the boutique. Show me yours." His cousin then levitated one of the blueprints he had in his bag and unrolled it on the table. Everyone then gathered around the table to look at the blueprint. It was labeled Acclamator-class assault ship. "An excellent design," Charming Thunder said. "Do we have any materials to make it?"
"Yes," Blueblood said. "Citizens from Appeloosa are bringing some right now."
"We are going to need an army though," Octavia said. "We can't just do this on our own."
"She's right," Celestia said. "There are too many forces to deal with with just the seven of us."
"And what of Applejack?" Fluttershy asked.
"I think that I know a memory spell that would wipe out one part that I want."
"And what would that be?" Rarity asked.
"Believing that Twilight Sparkle is the daughter of Luna. Pinkie, gather everypony in town to the mayor's office building. We need more forces in order to get Applejack back."

Chapter 3: The Rise of the Rebellion
The citizens of Ponyville gathered where Charming Thunder and the group were. They were standing on a stage where the mayor makes speeches. "Citizens of Ponyville," Charming Thunder said as he hot everyones attention. "I have asked you all here for a reason. We all hate Luna right now and I am asking you now. Will you join me in glorious combat to restore freedm for our true ruler Princess Celestia!?" Everyone cheered in agreement as others were chanting "Celestia." He then raised his hoof to quiet everyone down and said, "Then let this be a Declaration of Rebellion. TODAY we all vow to change Equestria. And one day...Equestria will be free from the New Lunar Republic." Everyone then cheered again and scattered around town to gather materials to make ground vehicles. Their plan to get Applejack back was now set in motion.
Camp has been set up next to Sweet Apple Acres and ponies are getting ready for attack tomorrow at dawn. Charming Thunder was examining his favorite vehicle that was ever made based on one of the blueprints his cousin had. Everything was ready for their first attack.
The next day, everyone was up early waiting for the sun to rise. The tanks on stand by in case they were needed, troops in position to start their charge, and Charming Thunder, who was leading the forces, was looking through his binoculars to make sure that Applejack comes out on schedule. He then noticed her leave her house and signaled the troops to move out. Everyone including Charming Thunder started running straight to the barn. Applejack noticed the group heading her way and out of nowhere Pinkie landed on her so that she doesn't get away. "Darn it," Applejack said as she struggled to break free. "When Luna hears about this, she will have your heads. Do ya'll hear me?"
"We all know," Charming Thunder said from behind the crowd. Everyone moved out of the way to reveal him walking towards her.
"Ch-Charming Thunder! I thought that you were in prison."
"I was."
"What are you going to do?"
He then turned to the army and said, "Secure the home. Make sure that her family is safe. I'll handle Applejack from here. Pinkie Pie, keep her restrained." Applejack then struggled even more.
"Please! Don't hurt them. They've done nothin' wrong!" Applejack shouted as a small group of soldiers entered her home.
"Do not worry. I'm not here to kill you. I have...some uses for you." Charming Thunder said as his horn glowed and lowered his head until his horn touched her forehead. She then started to scream in pain with the impact of the memory spell. Once it was over she was knocked out and lying on the floor. He then shouted to everyone, "VICTORY IS OURS!!" Everyone who hasn't charged has cheered and Pinkie started a first victory party.
A fleet is now being constructed over Ponyville. Since people of Appalossa came to town to deliver a lot of materials for construction, many starfighters, frigates, and capital ships were finished. But one giant one is still under construction. Prince Blueblood was in charge of the construction of the giant capital ship that was designed by Charming Thunder. ARC-170 starfighters then flew by to do some test flying. Octavia was helping Fluttershy carrying medical supplies until he saw Charming Thunder staring at Canterlot as tears fell down his face. "What's wrong?" Octavia asked as she placed a hoof on his shoulder.
He wiped away the tears and said, "Its just that I miss hanging out with Twilight. Ever since she became princess, I felt...alone."
"You don't have to be alone," Fluttershy said as she was dropping a pack of bandages inside the tent. "There's me, Octavia, Pinkie, Princess Celestia, Rarity, Spike, and Prince Blueblood."
"We are friends," said a voice from behind the group. The group then turned around and saw Applejack with a smile on her face. "And friends stick together."
"Glad to see you're awake."
"How long was she knocked out anyway?" Rarity asked.
"Three minutes." An idea then hatched in Charming Thunder's head. "Rarity, is my armor ready?"
"Yes it is."
"Why do you ask that?" Applejack asked.
"I've got a call to make."
"To who?"
"Twilight."
Charming Thunder was wearing a black outfit with a chest piece and a cape. He levitated a black helmet that almost looks a lot like a gas mask. When he placed it on his head, it started to make a breathing sound. He then pressed a button on a holo terminal and started to make a call to Princess Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight was in her room brushing her mane until a knock was heard on the door. "Enter," she said. A pegasus royal guard enter the room and bowed to the princess. "You have something to report?"
"Yes," the guard said. "You have an incoming transmission on your holo terminal."
"Thank you." The guard then left as Twilight headed to the terminal and pressed the blinking button. After that the hologram revealed a dark figure with a breathing mask making breathing sounds. Twilight was shocked by the appearance of the figure and asked, "Who are you and what do you want?"
"You don't remember the time I locked you up in a cell so I can escape," the figure asked.
"CHARMING THUNDER!!"
"You may have forgotten me but I will NEVER forget you."
"What do you want?"
"You and Luna have been ruling Equestria long enough. You will either surrender or I will declare war on the Lunar Republic." Twilight then turned away from Charming Thunder trying to make a decision. "Tick-tock tick-tock. What are you waiting for?"
Twilight then turned back to him and said, "Very well then. War."
"So be it, princess." The transmission then faded away and Twilight called the guard that was outside of her room.
"Yes, your highness?" the unicorn guard said.
"Alert my mother that we are now at war with rebels." The guard then bowed and rushed out of her room to alert Luna about the news that Twilight told him: War has finally come to Equestria.

Charming Thunder removed his helmet now that the discussion has ended. He then left the tent that had the terminal and he saw the a group of ponies watching the sky as a new starship flew around. The wings have been extended to look a lot like a TIE Fighter. It was a good starfighter for bombers. Its wings then extended to a position so it can land on the ground. The cockpit window opened to reveal a pilot with a striped pink tail. When the pilot removed her helmet, Charming Thunder recognized that pony. It was Ponyvilles school teacher Cheerilee. He was amazed that she is a great pilot. "Wow, Miss Cheerilee," Charming Thunder said. "I didn't know that you were a pilot. That was amazing flying."
"Oh, why thank you," Cheerilee said as she was fixing her mane. "I must say that a lot of ponies are impressed with my flying skills."
Charming Thunder thought for a moment and hatched an idea. "How would you like to be a flight school teacher to teach others how to fly these starfighters like you?"
"It would be an honor. I would love to." Cheerilee shook his hoof as she thanked him.
The next day, Charming Thunder was in his room at Rarity's boutique. He was looking at the lightsaber that was left on the table next to a picture of him and Twilight during their visit with Twilight's parents. He levitated the lightsaber and clipped it on his belt of the costume he is wearing. He then puts on his helmet and walked out of his room. When he did, he saw Sweetie Belle with Applebloom and Scootaloo. He then walked to the group as the crusaders were discussing about getting a cutie mark when the war is over. "Maybe we should get a cutie mark by making muffins," Scootaloo said.
"We tried that before. Remember?" Applebloom said.
"Oh, yeah right." The group then heard the breathing sound coming from behind them. They turned and saw Charming Thunder with his costume on.
"How long are you going to where that?" Sweetie Belle asked as she tapped on his helmet.
"When the war is over," Charming Thunder replied. "But I usually do take it off when I feel like it."
"I know that but...the helmet is starting to scare me."
"Sorry." He then levitated his helmet off and placed it on one of Rarity's mannequins and sat down with the group. "Coming up with ideas on getting cutie marks after the war?"
"Yup," they both said.
"But we've got nothin' yet," Applebloom said.
"I got to head out." Charming Thunder said as he got up and levitated his helmet. "But you three let me know when you got any ideas. Ok?"
"Alright," Scootaloo said. He then left the boutique to go check on some progress on ground forces and flight training.
Doctor Whooves was polishing a robot that he made so that he can make a demonstration to Charming Thunder. The doctor noticed Charming Thunder coming and rushed to welcome him. "Ah, Charming Thunder," Doctor Whooves. "You're just in time for the demonstration of the Dark Trooper."
"I'm impressed, doctor," Charming Thunder said. "Please elaborate on its capabilities."
"Each Dark Trooper is equipped with an assault cannon which is capable of shooting 400 plasma shells and 20 missiles before reloading. Allow me to demonstrate as it shoots the target." The doctor then pressed a button on a control pant to test out its firing mechanism. The Dark Trooper aimed at the target that is front of it and started to fire at it. In result, the target was disintegrated to ashes.
"Impressive. Most Impressive."
"They are also equipped with a jump pack to get to high places." He then pressed another button to test the flying procedure. The robot then started to float off the ground then back to the ground. "So what do you think of our new troops?"
"They will be excellent in battle, doctor."
"Thank you for your time, sir." They both then shook hooves and Charming Thunder to the flight training school to check how Cheerilee is doing.
The class is now sitting in a flight simulator seat learning how to fly a starfighter of their choice. Cheerilee has been checking on the progress on their flight skills. Everyone was doing well with avoiding hazards on the training course. Charming Thunder was in the back of the class watching as they were learning. A beeping sound was heard form his comlink. He took it out of his pocket and answered it. It was Blueblood in the transmission. "Yes?" Charming Thunder asked.
"Your personal starfighter is ready," Blueblood said.
"Has it been tested?"
"It has, cousin. You should come see it."
"I'm on my way." He then ended the transmission and left the flight school.
The engineers have been shining the starfighter they just completed. Charming Thunder arrived to see his starfighter and said, "Its perfect."
"No need to thank me," Blueblood said as he walked up to him. "Why not take it out for a test flight." Charming Thunder nodded in agreement and the hatch opened as he was about to take a seat. He made sure that his cape doesn't get caught when the cockpit closes. Once it closed, he pressed buttons to start the engines. The ship then started to lift off the ground and it started to move forward. He used the handle controls to steady the ship as he was flying through town. He flew over Cheerilee's flight class as the students below watched him fly by. Charming Thunder smiled inside his helmet as he turned the ship around to head back to Blueblood.
As two Venator class star destroyers flew over Ponyville to set up a blockade on the ship that was still under construction, Charming Thunder landed his ship where it was first seen. When the cockpit opened, he noticed two familiar pegasi. It was Spitfire and Soarin. "I thought they were with the Shadowbolts," he said to himself. He then got out of the cockpit and walked up to the two pegasi. "Hey! You two." Spitfire then turned around and saw Charming Thunder.
"Oh, hey, Charming Thunder," Spitfire said. "Back from your test flight already? Nice outfit."
"Thanks. I thought you were with the Shadowbolts. Care to explain why you two are here?"
"We left the Shadowbolts because we just couldn't take Luna anymore," Soarin said. "So...we came to join you." Charming Thunder thought for a moment as he was breathing through his helmet.
"You two are most welcome as a member of the rebellion." He then walked up close to Spitfire's face and said, "But if I find out that it is a trick, I will charge you for treason. Am I as clear as I could be?"
"Y-yes. But this is no trick."
"Splendid. Now I need you to do me a favor."
"Whats that."
"Tell me where the leader of the Shadowbolts named Rainbow Dash is."

Chapter 5: The Battle of Cloudsdale
Everyone has gathered inside the mission briefing room now that Charming Thunder has made a discovery on a location of the Shadowbolt base. Pilots who have been trained by Cheerilee have also came to the briefing to see what Charming Thunder plans. He then entered the room with Celestia and the briefing has started. "You all have gathered here because I discovered the location of our next target," he said as he pressed a button and the hologram projector revealed Cloudsdale. "Thanks to the intel from Spitfire and Soarin, we can make our first strike to the Shadowbolts and capture Rainbow Dash. But most important of all...I have learned that they are planning to make a desperate attack on Ponyville." Everyone was shocked at this situation. "Now, our mission is simple. I will land at Cloudsdale to find Rainbow Dash while the fleet holds of the enemy fleet. Once I find Rainbow Dash, I will request a shuttle to get her to safety and delivered to Ponyville. Once we get back to Ponyville, I will use my memory spell just as I used it on Applejack. Good luck." When the briefing was over, the pilots headed to their ships to fly to their assigned capital ship so that they can travel to Cloudsdale and be ready to deploy for battle.
Aboard Charming Thunder's Venator Star Destroyer, he was at the bridge as the engineers were at the controls plotting a course to Cloudsdale. "Permission to come aboard?" Octavia asked.
Charming Thunder turned to her and replied, "Permission granted." She then walked to his side with a little worry.
"I'm just concerned about something."
"And whats that?"
"How are you going to walk on clouds?"
"I'm going to use a speel to allow me to walk in Cloudsdale. Twilight taught it to me."
"Coordinates are set, sir," an engineer said.
"Good. Move forward." Four Venators and nine Acclamators started to set their course to Cloudsdale.
Rainbow Dash was in her office now that she has become captain of the Shadowbolts. She was disappointed that Spitfire and Soarin left the team. She sat in her chair going over paperwork that was scattered across her desk. She then heard an alarm being triggered as a sign that something is coming. The door then slammed open as one of the members of the Shadowbolt squadron entered the office. "Captain," she said. "We are under attack. Its the rebels."
Rainbow Dash got up from her seat and said, "Tell all pilots to take off and attack."
"But what about you, ma'am?"
"I'll stay here. They might be coming for me." She grabbed her blaster pistol and placed it in the holster.
Fighters are now being deployed from the Venators and are now pushing forward to Cloudsdale. Charming Thunder was in front of the squadron as he is being escorted by two V-19 Torrent fighters. Once Charming Thunder found a landing platform, the two fighters escorting him broke off and headed to battle. He exited the cockpit and entered the building where Rainbow Dash is.
Meanwhile at the skies of Cloudsdale, ARC-170 starfighter squadrons started attacking the Shadowbolt squadron. Their fighters were similar to the ARC-170 but different. Turbo laser towers have been firing down fighters from the surface of Cloudsdale. Fighters have been blown up by the enemy squadron. Hopefully they will buy enough time for Charming Thunder to capture Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash was staring at the action that was outside of the window. She suddenly heard a breathing sound coming from inside the office. She turned to the left then the right and then straight to come face to face with the dark figure. "So. You have come for me eh?" Rainbow Dash asked with a sinister grin.
"Yes," Charming Thunder replied.
Rainbow slowly reached for her blaster as she asked, "How is Scootaloo?"
He then reached for his lightsaber on his belt and answered, "She is worried about you."
"Why? Is it because I betrayed Princess Celestia!?" She then threw out her blaster and started to blast him. But Charming Thunder activated his lightsaber and blocked the bolts. One of the blaster bolts hit Rainbow's hoof and she dropped the blaster. She then fell to the floor with her hoof in pain. He then walked to the downed Rainbow Dash and grabbed her by the neck. "Ack! Why are you doing this?"
"It is the only way to stop Luna from taking over Equestria."
"You think you've won? You still have Shining Armor to take care of. Including Twilight Sparkle." When Charming Thunder heard the name he punched her in the face to knock her out.
Charming Thunder placed Rainbow Dash on his back as he took out his communicator to contact Octavia and said, "Octavia, send in a shuttle. The target has been found. I repeat, the target has been found.
A shuttle flew out of the star destroyers hangar and flew to the coordinates that was placed by Charming Thunder. The shuttle folded its wings like a butterfly and landed next to Charming Thunder's ship. The ramp to shuttle opened as two pegasi flew towards him lifting Rainbow off of his back. "Make sure that she is tied up," Charming Thunder said. "We don't want her to fly to Canterlot to warn Luna."
"Yes, sir," said one of the pegasi and saluted him. They both then went to shuttle and started to take off. Charming Thunder went to his ship and followed the shuttle as cover.
"All forces retreat," Charming Thunder said to his communicator in his ship. The Shadowbolt squadron has been defeated and has started to head to Canterlot. The Venators and Acclamators then plotted a course back to Ponyville to wrap things up with Rainbow Dash.

Chapter 6: Request from the Crystal Empire
The fleet that left to fight at Cloudsdale has returned to Ponyville to settle a score with Rainbow Dash. Fighters flew out of the star destroyers and landed at the Flight school hangar. The shuttle that was carrying Rainbow hostage landed at the tent where Celestia stays as Charming Thunder landed next to it. When the ramp of the shuttle opened, the two pegasi were escorting Rainbow Dash in chains to a cell where Charming Thunder can confront her and use his memory spell on her. He followed the group as they threw her in the cell. He then entered the cell and gestured them to leave him be. He then levitated his helmet off of his head and started to walk up to Rainbow Dash. His horn then glowed and started to lean towards her to let his horn impact her forehead. Rainbow then started screaming due to the impact of the spell that has been cast on her and she was knocked out again in result. He exited her cell and said to the guards, "When she wakes up, let her out and escort her to me."
"Yes, sir," the guard said as he saluted to him. While he was walking to his tent, Scootaloo started to run to him a lot worried since she hard the news about Rainbow Dash.
"Where is she?" she asked. "Where's Rainbow Dash? Is she alright?"
Charming Thunder smiled and said, "Don't worry, squirt. She's fine. She just needs some rest. I just casted a memory spell on her. Give her time to recover and you will see her. I promise." Scootaloo then started crying and hugged Charming Thunder.
Princess Celestia was outside of her tent looking at the giant ship being constructed. She grew a little worried about Luna and her faithful student Twilight Sparkle. "I know," Charming Thunder said. "I miss them too. We'll get them back. I promise you, Aunt Celestia.
"Thank you, nephew," Celestia said wiping a tear.
A unicorn rushed to the group and said, "Charming Thunder, you have an incoming transmission from Princess Cadence."
"Send it to my holo terminal. I'l talk to her there." He then entered his tent to talk to his sister Cadence. He pressed the blinking button on the terminal and it revealed Cadence. "It is great to see your face again, sister."
"It sure is, little brother," Cadence replied. "Nice outfit. You made it yourself?"
"With a little help from Rarity yes. The helmet wasn't easy to make though. What is the reason you called?"
"I called to give you information an a starship prototype that is being made. It is called the TIE Phantom."
"Sounds interesting. Go on."
"I received word that the blueprints are being held at at the castle of the two sisters."
"Thats at the other side of the Everfree forest. And what do you want me to do about it?"
"I need you to steal those plans so that the Crystal Empire can help you make an invasion force to attack Canterlot."
"What about you?"
"I am undercover for the New Lunar Republic because if my husband found out that I am on your side, I don't know what he'll do."
"I'll help you and then come to the Crystal Empire."
"Thank you, brother. I'll see you once your mission is over." The transmission ended and Charming Thunder decided to take off his costume because he had a plan to sneak into the ancient castle where Nightmare Moon was redeemed by Twilight Sparkle and her friends. He displayed his costume on a mannequin that Rarity gave him and as he left the tent, he saw Rainbow Dash heading his way. "Hey, Rainbow. How are ya' feeling?"
"Fine," Rainbow said. "Have you seen Scootaloo? I need to see her. I have been away from her for a long time."
"She's inside the tent where the princess is. She was worried sick about you."
"Thanks." Rainbow then hugged Charming Thunder and started to head to the tent where he pointed to. He then continued to walk to the trail of the Everfree forest until Octavia walked next to him.
"Hey," Octavia said. "Where are you going?"
"My sister has given me a mission to go to the castle of the two sisters to steal plans to a starfighter called a TIE Phantom."
"But thats at the other side of the forest. Besides, you can get lost while you're in there."
"Don't worry, Octy. I'll be find. I have my lightsaber in case anything goes wrong." He then walked ahead of her as he came up to the forest.
"Good luck, Charming Thunder."
"You, too." He then walked into the forest and his quest to the ancient castle has now begun.
Charming Thunder has been walking through the forest for hours. He decided to stop to take a break until he came across a Lunar Republic guard alone in his camp. He then his behind the bush so that he can avoid his attention. He also saw the castle he was looking for. He thought about how to get inside undetected then an idea hatched inside his head. "If I take out that guard. I can hide the body and take his uniform, sneak in, and take the plans. It will be easy." He slowly moved to the other side where the guard was standing. He looked around to make sure that he is really alone. He then grabbed the guard and dragged him to the bush he was hiding in. The guard struggled to break free from his grasp but it was too late. Charming Thunder had a blaster pointed to his head and shot him. He then took the guards outfit and puts it on. He got out of the bush and started heading to the castle. There were two guards at the bridge making sure that no one enters the castle. They noticed one of the guards and allowed him to cross.
Once Charming Thunder was inside the castle, he saw a lot of soldiers patrolling everywhere making sure that there are no intruders. He then hid in the corner and tried to look for the room where they keep important things. He looked at every door to see if there are any guards. He saw one door guarded and said to himself, "That must be the place where the blueprints are stored." He then walked to the door and the guards blocked the door. "I have orders from Princess Twilight to view patrol that room," he said. The two guards looked at each other and nodded in agreement and moved out of his way. He was finally inside the room he was looking for. In the room was a computer where it stores very important information. He then sat on the chair and started searching for the TIE Phantom plans. "Ugh. Nothing yet. Just some journal entries about the last meeting the NLR had." He then found what he was looking for. The picture displayed what the ship looked like. It states that they are a new type of stealth fighters and they plan to use it for surprise attacks. He pressed a button on the terminal and viewed a demonstration of the fighter using the cloaking ability. He then pressed another button to get the blueprints and a holo disk popped out of the slot. He levitated the disk and puts it in the saddlebag he had since he took out the guard to get the uniform. When he was about to leave, an alarm has been triggered. He left the room to escape the enemy base until the guard saw him and started firing his blaster at him. He took cover behind the wall and readied his blaster. He popped out of cover and blasted the guard in the chest. The guard then fell out of the window that was next to him. He took off his helmet and started running back to Ponyville. As he ran across the bridge, he shot the two guards that were posted there and ran past them. His mission to steal blueprints for Cadence has been complete. Once he lost the enemy, he continued to head back to Ponyville.

Chapter 7: Cadence Betrays Shining Armor
The flagship that the rebels have been constructing is finally complete. When Charming Thunder returned, he was amazed with the completed flagship. He went to the holo terminal inside Celestia's tent and contacted his sister. "I have the plans as you requested, sister," Charming Thunder said.
"Good," Cadence replied. "Now bring the plans and your forces here as quick as possible."
"Why? Is something wrong?"
"I've just received word that Shining Armor is coming to the Crystal Empire." Charming Thunder was shocked with the situation his sister is in. "Please hurry."
"I'm on my way." He ended the transmission and rushed outside. "ALL TROOPS TO YOUR TRANSPORTS!! WE ARE MOVING OUT NOW!!"
"Where?" Octavia asked.
"The Crystal Empire." As the alarm sounded, the soldiers grabbed their blasters and started to board their transport. The doors on the sides closed and lifted off the ground and has set their course to the Crystal Empire.
Cadence was walking back and forth in the throne room waiting for her brother to arrive until she heard a sound of transports flying by. She looked out of the window and saw transports landing and deploying troops and walkers. She then left the throne room to go see her brother and tell him the news about Shining Armor. When she got there, Charming Thunder was wearing the same costume as before but with his helmet on. "I see that you are wearing a helmet," Cadence said as she examined his costume.
"It goes with it," he said. He then took out the disk he had in his bag and gave it to her then said, "Here are the plans to the TIE Phantoms. I must say that it was a good idea for me to steal them."
"Why's that?" Cadence asked.
"When I examined it, I heard in the report that they can turn invisible during combat."
"I know. That is why I want your rebellion to use them. Once we have Shining Armor on our side, I will join you. For now I am waiting for a transmission from him. Come." Charming Thunder followed Cadence back to her castle so that they can wait for the transmission from her husband and plan to set a trap for him."
The hologram terminal was beeping and Cadence gestured Charming Thunder to stand back. She pressed the button and the hologram revealed Shining Armor in his royal guard armor. "Hi, Cadence," he said. "I'm just letting you know that I am about to leave Canterlot and come to the Crystal Empire."
"Have a safe flight, sweetie," Cadence said. "I'll be expecting you." The transmission ended as she turned to Charming Thunder. He was looking at the curtains that are displayed on each window and he got an idea. "What is it?"
"Help me close every curtain," Charming Thunder said. "I have a plan." Cadence then used her magic to close every curtain that are in the throne room as Charming Thunder explained the plan.
Shining Armor was flying in his personal interceptor. Its cockpit window is similar to a TIE Fighter. Its color design on the wings were similar to Shining Armor's mane. And each wing has a symbol that is similar to his cutie mark. He landed at the nearest landing pad that is at the castle so that he can easily get to the throne room. The cockpit opened and exited his vehicle. He then entered the castle and he continued his walk through the hallway to the throne room. When he opened the door to the throne room, the room was all dark and he couldn't see anything. "Cadence," he called. "I'm here. Cadence." The curtains then opened until the light revealed the dark figure who was sitting on Cadence's throne.
"We will be honored if you would join us," Charming Thunder said. Shining Armor then charged at him and tried to punch him. Charming Thunder then grabbed his hoof. Shining tried to break free from his grasp but the dark figure cracked his hoof. He lets go of his hoof then grabbed his neck and lifted him up.
"Enough," Cadence shouted.
Cadence walked up to his brother as he said, "As you wish." He then threw Shining Armor to the ground and two guards entered the room and raised him up so that he can face the dark figure. The trap has finally sprung.
"What is the meaning of this? My own wife? Betray ME? Why?"
"It was because she was never on your side this whole time."
Cadence then stood beside her brother and said, "Please don't hurt him."
"Hurt him? No. I have much bigger plans for him."
"And what might that be?"
"He will be used as bait to lure Twilight Sparkle here." Charming Thunder then walked up to Shining Armor and grabbed him by the neck. "Before I can use my memory spell."
Twilight was in her room examining her lightsaber. She turned it on and a green beam of light shone. A knock was then heard on the door as she deactivated it and placed in on her belt.
"Your highness," the earth pony guard said. "You need to come quick." She then followed the guard to the comms room where a transmission is still being played. It was Charming Thunder torturing Shining Armor. She then sheds a tear as she watched her big brother being electrocuted by him.
The dark figure then turned to Twilight and said, "There will be more of your soldiers blood on your hooves, Twilight. Unless you come here and face me. If you don't, your brother..." His horn then glowed and impacted on Shining's forehead as he continued. "...will DIE." The transmission ended as Twilight wiped away her tears.
"What are you going to do?" one of the guards asked.
"We are going to the Crystal Empire," Twilight replied. "Captain, assemble your troops and ready my shuttle."
"Yes, your highness." The captain then left the room as Twilight headed for her shuttle to confront her old friend at the Crystal Empire.
Equestria Wars Episode I: Fall of the New Lunar Republic
Outside of the Crystal Empire castle, trenches have been set up and turrets along with it. One of the turrets is a cylindrical shape which is utilized to defend against enemy foot soldiers. An earth pony opened the top hatch and manned the turret to be ready for anything. The other turret was dish looking.
Meanwhile back at the castle, Charming Thunder stared out of the window watching the soldiers preparing for battle. Cadence along with Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Shining Armor entered the room he was in and asked, "What's the plan?"
Charming Thunder turned and asked, "How are you feeling, Shining Armor?"
"I'm fine," Shining Armor replied.
"Good. The plan is to evacuated the whole town. I have already told the soldiers to spread the word to the crystal ponies to head to the transports that are just outside of the castle. We will hold off the enemy forces while they make their escape to Ponyville."
"And what are you going to do?" Rarity asked.
Charming Thunder took a long pause and said, "I will confront Twilight Sparkle here."
"And as for the rest of us?" Rainbow asked.
"Applejack and Shining Armor will help the ground forces hold off against whatever is coming. Fluttershy and Rarity will help the wounded. Rainbow Dash will lead the squadron of speeders we have brought with. And Pinkie....man the guns at the trenches."
"And what about my wife?" Shining Armor asked.
"She will evacuate with the others."
"Don't worry, honey." She then kissed Shining Armor on the cheek. "I'll be fine."
"Well you know what to do. Go." The group then left to head to their posts to prepare for battle.
Applejack and Shining Armor were helping the soldiers carefully placing a blaster cannon inside trenches. Crystal ponies were in a single line at each transport to prepare the evacuation. Charming Thunder was in the throne room waiting for Twilight to enter until he felt a rumbling sound coming from outside. The soldiers outside heard it too. Even the pilots who were getting in their speeders. The soldiers at the trenches readied their weapons as the commander looked through his binoculars. In the distance, he saw four walkers approaching the kingdom. "Charming Thunder," the commander said on his comlink. "We have spotted walkers."
"Begin your attack," Charming Thunder replied.
"Yes, sir." The commander readied his weapon and headed inside the trench. The first transport lifted off and was being escorted by two ARC-170 starfighters to protect the transport at all times. The walkers then opened fire to the trenches as each transport took off. The speeders lead by Rainbow Dash have arrived to the battle and flew towards the walkers.
"Attack pattern delta," Rainbow Dash said. "Go now." The speeders then maneuvered past the walkers then swings around for another pass to distract the walkers. "That armor is too strong for blasters. Use your harpoon and tow cable on the legs in order to stop them." She then flew towards one of the walkers as the gunner positioned the rear gun to aim at the leg of the walker. "Activate harpoon." The gunner then fired the harpoon and it impacted on the leg of the walker. Her speeder then flew around the walkers legs in circles until it was time to detach the cable. The speeder then detached the cable and flew away from the walker as it collapses to the ground. The speeders then shot at the downed walker and it exploded into pieces.
Charming Thunder was staring out of the window watching the action when he saw a shuttle approaching the castle. It was Twilight's shuttle arriving to the castle. Rainbow Dash was covering a speeder trying to use its tow cable to take down a walker. "Watch that crossfire, boys," she said. The speeder she was protecting then exploded from the crossfire and she got hit by the crossfire. "Ah! I've been hit!" Sparks were flying everywhere in her cockpit as she crashed towards the ground. She then checked if the gunner was okay but he wasn't. She then unfastened her safety strap and pushed open the cockpit door open. The walker was in front of her getting closer and closer. She then grabbed her gear as fast as she could before the walker would crush her speeder. Once she got what she needed, she flew out of the cockpit and the walker stepped on the crashed speeder.
Charming Thunder saw the smoke coming from the speeder that crash landed in front of the walker as his comlink beeped. "What?" he asked.
"We can't take much more of this," Shining Armor said. "About half of the transports successfully escaped. What should we do?"
"Tell your forces to retreat and get to your transports."
"Ok." Shining Armor turned to his troops and yelled, "PREPARE TO RETREAT! PULL BACK! HEAD TO THE TRANSPORTS!"
Rainbow was behind the walker as she readied her grapple gun. She fired it under the walker and started to go up towards the bottom of the walker. She grabbed her pistol and shot the hatch that was close to her. She puts her weapon away and throws a thermal detonator inside the hatch. She detached the hook that was on her and fell to the ground. The walker started to explode from the inside as it was moving. Its head then blew up and collapsed side ways which also knocked down the other two walkers to the ground. She then flew to the transports and joined up with her friends. "Lets go," she said as the hatch closed. The transport then lifted off and headed straight back to Ponyville.
Charming Thunder waited patiently for Twilight to enter the throne room. He then made an evil grin inside his helmet and he levitated off his helmet and placed it on the chair. "I've been waiting for you, princess," he said as he turned around to meet her.
"Where is my brother?!" she shouted. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH HIM?!"
"Oh, just a simple memory spell I casted on him. The same way I'm going to use it on YOU. You have allowed this...princess of the night to twist your mind until now...until now you have become the very thing I swore to destroy."
"Don't lecture me, Charming Thunder. You are not like Princess Celestia. I do not fear you. Soon I will end this rebellion and bring peace and justice to the New Lunar Republic."
"And my allegiance is to Celestia. To DEMOCRACY!"
"It doesn't matter anymore. If you are not with me, then you are my enemy."
Charming Thunder took a long pause to what Twilight said as he said, "Only Luna deals an absolute." He then grabbed his lightsaber to get ready for a duel. "You leave me no choice. I will do what I must."
"You will try, my old friend." Charming Thunder then activated his lightsaber as Twilight grabbed hers and did the same she then jumped towards him and started to strike to begin their sword fight. He blocked her first strike and tried to hit her leg. She blocked that attack and they started to move to another room. She then kicked Charming Thunder and he landed through the door to the hallway. They both then locked their sabers and Charming Thunder pushed her back. Their lightsaber strikes then hit the walls that were close to them. They entered the dinning room and Charming Thunder jumped on top of the table which was in the middle of the room. As he was about to strike, Twilight grabbed him by the neck and started chocking him. She lifted him off the surface of the table. Charming Thunder kicked her to get out of her grasp and she dropped her lightsaber. She then kicked him and he landed on the floor. He got up and blocked her punch attack and kicked her to the ground. He then levitated his lightsaber and grabbed it. Twilight did the same and blocked Charming Thunders strike. She got back up and kept on striking him as he blocked those strikes. They both then started to twirl their swords and locked their blades again. When they both collided back, they both charged up their horns and fired a blast at each other. The beam of both Twilight's and Charming Thunder's impacted as they both fight to win the clash. Charming Thunder won the clash as Twilight was pushed to the wall. Charming Thunder jumped into the air and tried to slice her. She dodged and the attack hits the wall instead. They both exited the room and headed to the outside of the castle. Twilight attacked as they both left the castle. Charming Thunder jumped up to the roof of a house as Twilight flew to the roof. Charming Thunder was the first to strike when Twilight landed on the roof. She then punched him in the face and when she was about to strike, he grabbed her hoof that was holding the lightsaber. He then pushed her back real hard and when he got back up, they both locked their blades.
The LAAT/i transport headed back to the Crystal Empire to check on what Charming Thunder is doing. "I'm worried about my brother," Cadence said. "I'm just afraid that he would get hurt or get captured."
"I see them," the pilot said. "They are dueling on the roof."
"Get us closer," Rarity said.
"Yes, ma'am." The transport then flew to the location of the fight to get a closer look of what is going on and hope that Charming Thunder is hanging in there during the fight.
Twilight tried to strike Charming Thunder's head but he blocked that strike. He then pushed her back and the strikes her left arm but she blocked it. They both then just stood there staring at each other. Charming Thunder then levitated some rocks and started to throw them at her. She dodged the first rock by moving left and dodged the second rock by jumping over it. He then started blocking Twilight's attacks as she used her anger to try to kill him. They both then locked their blades and Twilight said, "Any last words before I kill you?"
"Yeah," Charming Thunder said as his horn was glowing. "Duck." Twilight looked next to her and a rock hits her and she fell off of the roof. Her lightsaber was now out of her hoof and he jumped down off the roof and walked over to the downed Twilight who was crawling to her lightsaber. His horn then glowed as he said, "You underestimate my power." His horn then impacted on her forehead and Twilight then started screaming. Once it was done, she was knocked out and he heard a transport landing to the ground behind him but didn't bother to look behind him. He instead just stared at his best friend lying on the floor and silently saying, "I'm sorry. I'm so so so sorry, my love." He then sheds some tears when Cadence placed a hoof on his shoulder and embraced a hug to him. The fight was over. He then walked with his sister as Rarity carried Twilight to the ship. Once they were on board, the ships doors closed and lifted off to set their course to Ponyville.

Chapter 9: Luna's Apprentice
After Octavia and Blueblood told Charming Thunder that Twilight was going to be alright, he was sitting on a cushion meditating. He opened his eyes when Princess Celestia entered the tent. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything," she said.
Charming Thunder then got up and said, "Oh, no. Not at all. Please come in. Have a seat." Celestia sat on a cussion that was across from him as he levitated two tea cups and a tea pot. "Care for some tea?"
"Oh, yes. Thank you." The teapot then poured some tea in her cup as it also poured in Charming Thunder's cup.
"So...what brings you here?"
"I have a task for you." She then sipped her tea and continued her conversation. "Deep in the Everfree forest, there is a cave. I want you to go into that cave."
"What's in there?"
"Only what you take with you. Bring your weapon just in case you need it." They both then continued to drink their tea before Charming Thunder would leave to go on his mission.
In the Everfree forest, Charming Thunder walked up to the entrance of the cave. He turned and saw Zecora sitting next to the entrance. "You guard this place?"
Zecora chuckled and replied, "No. I am only a watcher."
Charming Thunder looked with concern and said, "Then you'll let me pass?"
"Celestia has sent you here for a reason. This is your path during this fine season."
He then turned to the cave and took one step then asked, "You know what I'm looking for?"
Zecora took a long pause and said, "Something lost. Or something apart of yourself from the past." Charming Thunder then peeked inside the cave as the zebra said, "If it is what you seek, you will find it inside." He then nodded and entered the cave. His horn glowed to light the way through the cave. There was nothing while he was walking but vines. He looked around as he proceeded forward. He heard a cracking sound and turned to check where the sound was coming from. He was about to check behind the vines when suddenly, a hooded figure walked out of the vines. It barely shows his face with red tattoos all over it. He wore a black cloak over his body. As he moved towards him, Charming Thunder activated his lightsaber and pointed it towards the figure. The pony did the same but it was double sided. He stroke first and Charming Thunder blocked that attack. Charming Thunder attacked his right hoof but the horned pony blocked it. He then jumped over him and sliced between his legs. When he landed, he turned to find the figure standing until he split into two pieces. The figure then faded away like mist like it was a vision. Charming Thunder was shocked of what he just witnessed.
Zecora was still sitting outside of the cave until she saw Charming Thunder walk outside of the cave. "What you have seen in that cave," she said as she got up. "You will follow it to believe."
"To confront this minion of Luna if I have to," Charming Thunder said to himself. He then walked down the path back to Ponyville to tell his aunt what he just saw.
At Canterlot, an pony with devilish horns on his head, yellow eyes, and red tattoos all over his face entered Luna's throne room to see what she wants. He then kneeled to the presence of the queen and said "What is thy bidding, your highness."
"There is a task I have for you," Luna said. "You will go to Ponyville and take care of a pony named Charming Thunder. You will kill him."
"And what of Twilight Sparkle?"
"She is not of your concern. Soon the rebellion will be crushed. Your work here is finished, my friend. Go to Ponyville and do as I ask."
"As you wish, your highness." He then left the throne room to complete the task that was given by Luna.
"He will be no match for you, my apprentice."
Charming Thunder entered the medical tent to visit Twilight Sparkle. He kneeled next to her bed and waited for her to wake up. Twilight started to groan as she was waking up. He then smiled in relief that she is okay. "Where am I?" she asked.
"You're in a medical tent." She turned and saw her coltfriend next to her.
"Charming Thunder!" She then hugged him as she was surprised to see him. "Its so good to see you again." She then gave him kisses on his cheek and laid back down in her bed.
"It has been a while, your highness." Charming Thunder then got up and bowed to her. "I'm just glad that you're alright." They both then shared a kiss. "I've missed you, Twilight."
"Me too." Twilight then got up from her bed and started to walk with Charming Thunder.
The apprentice's ship landed on a hill close to Ponyville. He was looking through his binoculars to find his target in the town. He then saw the red unicorn he was looking for with the purple alicorn. "There you are," he said. He then walked up to his speeder and sat down in it. He turned on its engines, grabbed the handles and started to head straight to Ponyville.
"I see," Celestia said. Charming Thunder and Twilight were with the princess discussing what he witnessed in the cave at the Everfree forest. "So that cave showed you whats going to happen in the future?"
"I think so," Charming Thunder said as he was polishing his helmet. "I also think that it is a minion of your sister."
"This...horned figure," Twilight said as she asked, "Do you know him?"
"No. But what I do know that he might be coming for me." He then heard a speeder flyby past the tent. "What was that?"
"I don't know. But we are going to find out." The group then walked out of the tent as they saw a hooded figure get off of his speeder.
"So...you must be the famous Charming Thunder," the hooded figure said.
"Yes. And I want to ask who you are and what your purpose is here."
The figure then removed his cloak to reveal himself. It was the horned earth pony wearing a black robe on his body. "I am Maul. Apprentice to Queen Luna. I have been sent to kill you."
"Just as I predicted," Celestia said. "An assassin." Maul grabbed his lightsaber from his belt and held it in his hoof. Charming Thunder stepped forward and grabbed his lightsaber and readied for combat. Maul's lightsaber had two red blades on both sides when he activated it. Charming Thunder activated his and he was the first to strike. He hits the left blade as Maul blocked. Charming Thunder jumped back and shot lightning out of his horn. Maul blocked the blast whit the right blade of his sword. Charming Thunder then charged at him and locked his blade with his right.
"You are strong," Maul said. "But not strong enough to defeat me." He then pushed him back then twirled his lightsaber. He strikes Charming Thunder with both of his blades but he blocked those strikes. Charming Thunder then sliced Maul's lightsaber as the one half flew aside. He roared in rage and charged at him ending up locking their blades together. Maul broke the lock and used his magic to blast Charming Thunder to the ground with his lightsaber no longer in his hoof. Maul was standing over him ready to finish him off. As he was about to stab him, Charming Thunder dodged the attack and grabbed his lightsaber. He then jumped over him and cuts him in half. As he landed, he turned to see Maul standing still. When his lightsaber deactivated he began to fall apart.
"Your lightsaber will now be part of my collection, Maul," Charming Thunder said as he grabbed Maul's lightsaber. The crowd cheered for his success of defeating Maul. He then gestured two unicorns to throw out Maul's sliced body out. Charming Thunder then entered his tent and placed his lightsabers on the belt of his costume. "I will defeat you, Aunt Luna. You can count on it."

Chapter 10: Plans to Attack Canterlot
Charming Thunder was meditating to calm his mind after what he just went through the other day. He then opened his eyes and just realized something. He then left his tent to go visit Twilight and Celestia to tell them something important. There were two pony guards outside of their tent standing at both sides of the entrance. They wore a red robe and helmet and they were holding a force pike. They both noticed Charming Thunder and allowed him to pass. Celestia and Twilight Sparkle were having tea as he entered the room. They turned to notice him as Twilight said, "Oh. Hi, Charming Thunder. What brings you here?"
"I just realized something," he replied. "During my stay in prison, I have been overhearing the guards outside of my cell about this...super weapon that Luna has been working on."
"What do you think the super weapon does?" Celestia asked. "Is my sister planning to destroy Equestria? Or is she going to destroy the sun?"
"Neither. What I have heard, it is going to be used to destroy any cruiser with its super laser. I heard that it is called the Death Star."
"Do you know its weakness so that we can destroy it?"
"No because I don't have the plans to look at. If only I knew where they were."
"I think I can answer that," a voice said from behind. It was Rover, one of the diamond dogs who kidnapped Rarity months ago.
"Rover! What are you doing here?"
"I have information about what you are looking for. My kind has the plans hidden in the caves where they were dug up a crystal to use its weapon."
"And what of your other companions Fido and Spot?" Charming Thunder asked.
"They are with me but they are still at the caves working with the Separatists."
"Separatists?" Celestia asked.
"They are the diamond dogs that are in charge of keeping the plans safe."
" I have a plan. You will contact them to let them know that Luna has sent a representative to check on the operation and I'll head there and kill the leaders and steal the plans. Once that is done, you and your friends can get back to your normal life."
"I thank you for that," Rover said as he agreed.
"I hope your plan works," Twilight said.
"Trust me. It will."
Deep in the caves, the diamond dogs were digging for jewels. At the control room, the diamond dog leaders were talking to Rover about a representative coming. "A representative of Luna you say?" one of the leaders asked.
"Yes," Rover replied. "And when he arrives, he will...take care of you." The transmission ended and the diamond dogs continued to work on guarding the plans to Luna's battle station.
Charming Thunder's fighter landed outside of the entrance of the cave. Two diamond dog guards noticed the ship and walked up to it. Charming Thunder was wearing a cloak with a hood over his head. He walked up towards the guards as he approached the entrance. "Our leaders have been expecting you," one of the guards said.
"And where are they now?" Charming Thunder asked.
"In the control room, sir."
"I have a message from Celestia."
The guards were shocked as the second guard asked, "Message? What message?"
"THIS!!" He activated his lightsaber and slashed the first guard. He then used his magic to choke the second guard. His magic then snapped the guard's neck and he threw him aside. He then proceeded inside the cave to head to the leaders and steal the plans.
The diamond dogs were monitoring the progress of the workers digging up some jewels. The hooded figure then entered the room and stopped at the other side of the door he came in. One of them noticed him enter and said, "Welcome. We have been expecting you." The hooded figure's horn then started to glow. The doors were closing so that the leaders can't escape. The dogs in the room were shocked when the doors closed. When they heard the activation sound of a lightsaber, the figure then started to slay them. They all then started to panic as they tried to find a way to escape. The figure continued to slay the rest of the leaders until there was only one left in the room. He then started to walk up to the cornered diamond dog wearing a top hat as he said, "You're not Luna's representative. You're Charming Thunder, the leader of the rebellion. Please spare me and I will--" He was cut off when the figure sliced him in half. Charming Thunder then headed to the terminal that had a hologram of what he was looking for. It was spherical shaped station which almost looks like a moon but damage looking . He pressed a button on the panel and grabbed the disk containing the plans. He then left the control room leaving nothing but bodies of the leaders. Once he exited the cave, he boarded his starfighter and sets course back to Ponyville to examine the Death Star plans and find a weakness.
At Ponyville, starfighters have come back from training as Doctor Hooves was working on making the Dark Trooper army. TIE Phantom squadrons have returned from their test flight and landed in the flagship. Charming Thunder was in his tent with Twilight looking at the plans to the Death Star. The hologram of the station zoomed in to a trench as they were finding a weakness. The hologram proceeded through the trench and stopped at a small shaft. "That must be the stations weak point," Twilight said as she hatched an idea. "If we fired something in there since it leads to to the main reactor, it can cause a chain reaction and it will blow up"
"That is a great idea," Charming Thunder said. "But there is one problem: Luna is going to be at the castle while it is over Canterlot. Somepony must face her and wipe her memory."
"I know what you are thinking, Charming Thunder. And the answer is no. I don't want you to get hurt."
Charming Thunder walked up to Twilight and placed a hoof over her shoulder and said, "Don't worry, Twilight. I'll be alright. That is why we are also doing a ground assault of Canterlot. Our army will help me go to the castle while you hold off the forces outside. The rest of the briefing is for tomorrow."
"I hope that you are right," she said with a little worry.
Charming Thunder then turned off the hologram and said, "In the meantime, how 'bout we get some shut eye. My eyes are starting to hurt from looking at that hologram for hours."
"Of course. And Charming Thunder?"
"Yes, Twilight?"
"Can I...sleep with you? Just for today?"
"Of course, milady." He then bowed as Twilight giggled. They then walked to bed and Charming Thunder laid down on his side as Twilight did the same.
The next day, everyone was at the briefing room including Celestia, Octavia, and Blueblood. The rebellion are about to plan their final attack. The red royal guards were standing next to the princess to keep her safe from any harm. "Well look at you, Rainbow," Applejack said. Rainbow was wearing a pilot outfit. "Are you a general now or something?"
"Yeah," Rainbow replied. "I just completed my flight training with Cheerilee and I got promoted to squad leader."
"Well I'm proud of you."
"Thanks." The room was quiet when Charming Thunder entered the room.
"Luna has made a critical error and our time to attack has come," Charming Thunder said. "The data I found at the diamond dog hideout gives us a weakness to her super weapon: the Death Star." He pressed the button and revealed the hologram of the battle station rotating around. "It carries a firepower greater than half of a star fleet. Its defenses are designed to repel a large scale assault. A small fighter shall be able to penetrate the outer defense."
"Pardon me for asking," Cheerilee asked from the back. "But what good are snub fighters going to be against that?"
"Well, the New Lunar Republic doesn't consider a small one-man fighter to be any threat, or they'd have a tighter defense. An analysis of the plans provided by myself and Twilight Sparkle has demonstrated a weakness in the battle station. But it will not be easy. You are required to maneuver straight down the trench and skim the surface to this point." The hologram then revealed the exhaust port. "The target is only two meters wide. Its a small thermal exhaust port right below the main port. It leads directly to the reactor. It will then start a chain reaction when hit which should destroy the station. The shaft is ray shielded so you must use proton torpedoes."
"That's impossible," Rainbow Dash said. "Even for a computer."
"Rainbow Dash has volunteered to lead the attack while Blueblood and Octavia takes command of our flagship. The fleet will hold off the enemy fleet outside of the station. As for the ground forces. We will breach the gates of Canterlot so that I can head to the castle and face Luna and put an end to the New Lunar Republic. The dark troopers will breach the entrance to the gate after the transports deploy us to the ground. Once in the town, we will proceed straight to the castle. You will hold off their forces while I face Luna alone. Head to your ships. And may Celestia's magic be with us." Everyone in the room got up and headed to their stations to get ready for their final assault against the New Lunar Republic.

Chapter 11: The Battle Begins
Everyone outside has started boarding their transports and fighters to fly up to their cruisers and flagship. The soldiers were wearing white body armor and a helmet with a visor that looks like a letter "T." Rainbow Dash was walking with Charming Thunder as they headed to their ships. He boarded his starfighter as she boarded a starfighter. Rainbow flew to a Venator cruiser as Charming Thunder flew to the flagship. After he landed in the flagship, he contacted the pilot of the flagship on his comlink and said, "Get us as close to Canterlot as you can and try not to get us detected."
"Yes, sir," the pilot replied. The flagship, Venators, and Acclamators then plotted their course to Canterlot. Charming Thunder entered the bridge of the flagship and walked to the window to view the direction to Canterlot. Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle snuck on board with him without knowing.
"Hi," Sweetie Belle said.
Charming Thunder turned around to see them and said, "What are you three doing here? Its too dangerous for what we are doing."
"We wanted to help," Applebloom said.
"And what can you possibly to do to help?" The crusaders then just stood there in silent.
"I read a manual on how to drive a walker," Scootaloo said. "Every last word from the book."
"Fine. You three can come but when the time is right if the enemy has any walkers, try to hijack one. Even if somepony is driving it."
"Sir, yes, sir!!" The crusaders said. Charming Thunder then looked back at the window to look for any sign of trouble.
Luna was at the window overseeing the Death Star. She giggled to herself and said, "Soon when the Death Star is operational, the New Lunar Republic will be unstoppable." She then did an evil laugh unlike when she was Nightmare Moon. A knock was heard on the door and a Magnaguard entered the room.
"Your highness," it said. "I just received word that that the rebels are heading this way."
"Sound the alarm, get the crew to their fighters, tell the cruisers to move to the enemy fleet, and tell the ground troops to get into position."
"Yes, your highness." The droid then left the room to do as it asked and Luna looked out of the window and sees a flagship and a ton of cruisers heading their way.
The flagship and cruisers deployed the LAAT/i and LAAT/c transports to send down their ground forces. The LAAT/c was similar looking to the LAAT/i but it was carrying a walker. When the carrier dropped the walker it started to move straight to the Canterlot gate. The other transports deployed the white armored troops as Charming Thunder, Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders departed from their transport. Applejack was wearing the armor similar to the soldiers but the armor had orange decal and her helmet had an antenna, two gray stripes, and a visor. The dark troopers also departed from the transport carrying its weapon with two hands. It then started flying towards the gate and landed in front of it. They blasted the gate down and proceeded through the gate along with the troops. "Stay close, you three," Charming Thunder said to the crusaders.
The fighters have been deployed from the cruisers and flagship as they flew to the armored station. "All wings report in," Cheerilee said to the console.
"Red leader standing by," Big Mac in the ARC-170 Starfighter said.
"Gold leader standing by," the pilot in the V-Wing said.
"Blue leader standing by," Rainbow Dash in her Z-95 Headhunter said.
"Lock s-foils in attack positions," red leader said as he flipped a switch. The wings of the ARC-170's and V-Wing's then extended out as they continued flying.
"We're passing through the magnetic field," Rainbow Dash said. "Hold tight." The ships then started to shake as they passed through the magnetic field. They then stopped shaking and proceeded to the station. Half of the squadron then splits up to take care of the cruisers that were heading towards the fleet. "Look at the size of that thing."
"Cut the chatter, Rainbow," Cheerilee said. "Accelerate to attack speed." When the fighters reached the surface, the turrets on the station started firing at the incoming fighters. The fighters maneuvered over the lasers as the others blew up.
A royal guard entered Luna's throne room a lot shocked about the situation. "We count thirty rebel ships at the Death Star, your highness," he said. "But they are so small they are avoiding the turbo lasers."
"We have to destroy them ship to ship," Luna said. "Tell the crew on that station to get to their fighters."
"Yes, your highness."
The ground forces proceeded through the town as the enemy soldiers started firing at them. The soldiers took cover in the corners of a building. Charming Thunder hid in the corner of a tall building with the Cutie Mark Crusaders and said, "Stay here." He then got out of the corner and started firing his blaster at the enemy. A big laser blast came out of nowhere as an enemy walker entered the battle. "CHICKEN WALKER!!" Applejack shouted. "TAKE COVER!!" The walker continued to fire at the ground troops as the soldiers were on the roof throwing rocks at it. The walker rotated its head and fired at the roof. The soldiers took cover to avoid its blast.
Charming Thunder headed straight towards the castle gate and crossed the draw bridge to the castle. Two pony guards blasted him as he blocked the bolts. One of the blaster bolts he blocked hits the wall as the others hit the soldiers that were firing at him. He then proceeded up the stairs to the entrance and placed a charge on the door. He took cover on the left side of the door. The door exploded and he threw a stun grenade inside the door. The explosion hits four guards and Charming Thunder entered the room and blasted them to the ground. Once the room was clear, he proceeded down the hall to Luna's throne room to confront his aunt and end the New Lunar Republic for good.
Back at the surface of the Death Star, Cheerilee was shooting down some of the stations defense turrets as she said, "Watch yourself! There's a lot of fire coming from the right side of that deflection tower."
"I'm on it," a pilot responded.
"I'm going in," Rainbow said. "Cover me, Blue 7."
"I'm right with you, Blue Leader," Blue 7 replied. Rainbow and her wing mate were shooting at a deflection tower which was protected by some turrets. A turrets laser hit Blue 7's wing as he said, "I got a problem here."
"Eject."
"I can hold it."
"PULL UP!!"
"No, I'm all—Aargh!" The ship then exploded due to the impact of the turrets laser fire.
"All units, we are detecting multiple signals. Enemy fighters coming your way."
"My scopes are negative," Rainbow said. "I don't see anything."
"Pick up your visual scanning. Here they come!" A dozen of TIE Fighters including a squad of TIE Interceptors came flying to attack the rebels. "Watch it!" Cheerilee shouted. "You've got one on your tail." The interceptor was behind an ARC-170 as its tail gunner started shooting at it. The gunner shot down the interceptor and it then exploded.
"If you've picked one up, watch it!"
"I can't see it," a pilot in a V-Wing said. The TIE Fighter was on her tail and she couldn't get it off her tail. "He's got me tight. I can't shake him." The fighter fired at the V-Wing but missed the shot.
"I'll be right there," Rainbow said as she flew behind the fighter and waited for her target to center in place so she can shoot it down. The target locked and she opened fire at the fighter. It then exploded and Rainbow Dash flew through the explosion. The battle for freedom is going well for both Canterlot and the Death Star. They might actually win this battle.

Chpater 12: The Duel Begins
The Venator class star destroyer was about to fly to the side of Providence-class carrier. The admiral of the cruiser said, "All batteries fire." The cruiser then started firing at the carrier as it fired back at them. They took heavy damage from the carrier as its last shot hits the carriers control systems and started to go down. When it impacted on the ground, it made a huge explosion and made a huge crater in front of the walls of Canterlot. The cruiser then proceeded forward to the rest of the enemy fleet as the flagship was holding off the rest.
Blueblood was at the flagship's bridge viewing the battle. "I think its time to use our new squadron," he said. He then turned to the commander and said, "Commander?"
"Yes, sir," he replied.
"Deploy the TIE Phantom squadron."
"Yes, sir." TIE Phantoms have started to fly out of the flagship and started to turn invisible and headed towards the enemy squadron that is attacking an Acclamator. The squadron started to fire at the interceptors and fighters to wipe them all.
Luna was sitting at her throne wearing her armor. The two magnaguards were standing at both sides of the door. The door then opened and Charming Thunder entered the room. His horn then glowed and levitated the two droids and started to crush them into a cube. He then threw the two cubed droids past Luna and the it rolled like a pack of dice. "I was hoping that you would come besides my sister," Luna said with an evil grin. Charming Thunder didn't respond and started to walk up to her slowly. "I can sense your anger, nephew. Go ahead. Take your weapon and strike me down with all of your hatred and stop me once for all." Charming Thunder then stopped walking and grabbed his lightsaber. Luna did the same but her hilt is curved. He activated his lightsaber and jumped to attack but Luna activated her blue blade and ended up locking their blades together as she did an evil laugh.
An AT-ST was walking through the town to chase down the soldiers that are pulling back. The cutie mark crusaders carefully climbed up to the roof of the building they were hiding in. Once they reached to the top, Scootaloo helped Applebloom up and she said, "All right, girls. Lets time this jump right." As the walker walked past the building, the three fillies ran to ready their jump. The drivers of the walker were watching the road when heard a tapping sound from the top of the walker. The drivers looked back to find the sound and when they looked back, they saw Sweetie Belle and Applebloom taunting them.
"Hey," the first driver said.
"Get those kids off of there," the second driver said. The driver then stood up and opened the hatch. As he was about to climb out, he was dragged out and he was then thrown off of the walker by Applebloom. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo then entered the walker and knocked out the other driver. Applebloom then dragged him out of the cockpit and threw him off. Scootaloo then manned the controls and started to move the walker forward.
"Are ya' sure you can drive this thing?" Applebloom asked.
"Trust me," Scootaloo said. "Its just like a video game."
"I hope you're right." She then closed the top hatch and sat behind them.
The AT-TE walkers were pinned down by the enemy walkers. The driver saw another AT-ST heading their way. He shuts eyes as he was afraid to die. The AT-ST then shot the other walker and its head exploded in result. The driver opened one eye to see only to see the enemy walkers head blown to pieces. As the AT-ST passed the AT-TE, the enemy walker collapsed backwards to the ground. The troops that were with the walker cheered to the AT-ST. "Nice shot," Sweetie Belle said. The walker then started to shoot at the enemy ground forces to clear a path for the rebels. They proceeded to Twilight's squad and shot at the enemy droid units. It was 1.93 meters tall and it was equipped with a dual built-in laser cannon on its wrist. The army turned into scrap when they got shot by the AT-ST. "Who's driving that walker?" Twilight asked herself as the walker passed by.
The enemy walkers were chasing down the troops but was soon destroyed by a rocket from a rocket launcher. The last walker was heading towards Applejack and Rarity's group when Applejack said, "Release the banana peels." The trooper on the roof of a house was carrying a garbage can and he dumped the banana peels in front of the walker. The walker then stepped on some and began to slip backwards. It landed side ways and exploded. The troops then cheered for their success when enemy droids pointed their wrist blasters and said, "Freeze. Don't move."
The troops then got scared and dropped their weapons. "Hooves up," the droid said. "Stand up." They were interrupted when they got shot by a big blast. They all were confused on where it came from until they saw the source heading their way. The AT-ST stopped in front of the troops and looked at them.
"Whoa nelly," Applejack said as she took a few steps back.
The hatch of the walker opened up and Applebloom popped her head out and said, "Howdy, sis."
"Applebloom? You almost gave me a heart attack. Get down from there its dangerous." She then hatched an idea in her head and said, "No wait." She then turned to the troops and said, "I've got an idea."
Charming Thunder kept on striking Luna but she kept on blocking his strikes. When he was standing at the edge of the stairs, Luna kicked him down the stairs and then chuckled. "Good," she said. "Use your aggressive feelings, nephew. Let the hate flow through you."
Charming Thunder got up and said, "Your skills...are complete, Aunt Luna." He then walked back up the stairs to face her as he said, "But there is one problem."
"And what's that?"
"You are unwise to lower your defenses." He then did a strike to Luna but she blocked that strike. They both then locked their blades together. Luna then tried to strike his leg but he blocked that strike and locked her blade with his again. She then pushed him back and Charming Thunder tried to hit her but she jumped out of the way. He turned to her and strikes again but she flew to one of the ceiling walkways.
Charming Thunder tried to catch his breath as Luna said, "Your thoughts betray you. You did not come here to kill me did you?"
"No," he replied.
Luna laughed and said as she walked sideways on the walkway, "I should've known that you were the one who took my daughter from me. You could've destroyed her when you had a chance at the Crystal Empire." Charming Thunder gritted his teeth and yelled in anger as he threw his lightsaber. She dodged the crimson blade and hits the support strut. It then showered sparks at her and caused the walkway to collapse. Luna slid down the walkway and hid behind one of the pillars in the room. Charming Thunder then walked down the stairs and used his magic to grab his lightsaber and activated it. The anger in his eyes focused on looking for his aunt and end this fight.

A fiery TIE Fighter crashed on the Death Star's surface as the battle continued. Rainbow Dash, Cheerilee, and Big Mac flew down to the trench to start their attack run. "Switch all power to the front deflector screens," Cheerilee said as they proceeded through the trench. They avoided fire from the guns that were setup in the trench.
"Increase speed full throttle," Rainbow said.
"What about those towers?" Cheerilee asked.
"You worry about the fighters and I'll worry about the towers." They continued flying through the trench until the guns stopped firing.
The gunner of Big Mac's fighter saw two fighters heading their way and said, "Fighters. Coming in point three." As the fighters came closer and closer, one of them fired at Cheerilee only damaging her.
"I'm hit," she said. "I can't stay with you."
"Get clear, Cheerilee," Rainbow said. "You can't do any more good back there!"
"Sorry. I'm out." Cheerilee then flew out of the trench to join up with the fleet. The gunner of the ARC-170 starfighter tried to shoot at one of them but they keep avoiding his shots.
"Activating targeting computer," Rainbow said as she pressed a button and the targeting computer slides towards her left eye. The screen revealed the distance of how far the target is as she proceeded forward. One of the shots from the ARC-170's gunner then hits one of the fighters wings. It then flew sideways and crashed into the fighter that was next to it leaving only one fighter left. "Almost there." The computer showed that the distance of the target close to the exhaust port.
"Hurry, Rainbow," Big Mac said. "He's coming in fast. I don't think I can hold him."
The computer beeped to the target in range. She then pressed the trigger to fire two proton torpedos. The torpedos went in the exhaust port and said, "ITS A HIT!!" Rainbow and Big Mac pulled up from the trench and said, "All fighters pull away from the Death Star. IT'S GOING TO BLOW!!" The rest of the fighters flew away from the station and joined up with the fleet. The station then exploded. The debris from the explosion hits the ground as it faded away.
"Great shot, Rainbow Dash," a pilot said. "That was one in a million." The fighters focused their attack on the rest of the enemy cruisers.
The AT-ST that the crusaders hijacked stood in position in front of a bunker where the enemy troops were hiding. A transmission was played inside the bunker revealing the driver of the walker as she said, "Its over, commander. The Rebels have been routed. They're fleeing into the woods. We need reinforcements to continue the pursuit."
"We're on our way now," the commander said. He turned to the soldier and said, "Open the door."
"Yes, sir," the trooper said as he did what he was instructed to do. When the door opened, the soldiers rushed out of the bunker until they were surrounded by the rebel soldiers. They then dropped their weapons and placed their hooves on their heds as the dark troopers pointed their weapons at them.
"Throw them to the dungeon," Twilight said. She then started to fly towards the castle to help Charming Thunder defeat Luna.
Charming Thunder looked for Luna behind each pillar in the throne room. "You think darkness is your ally?" he asked as he looked behind the next pillar. "But you merely adopted the dark. You cannot hide forever, Aunt Luna. You've lost."
"What are you talking about?" Luna shouted. "I have the armored battle station."
"Not anymore. It is destroyed now as you look through the window." Luna looked out of the window and saw the Death Star debris falling from the sky.
"How did you--" She then got angry about the situation.
"Your punishment must be more severe. You are the princess of the night. Not just a queen of Equestria. Search your feelings. You know this to be true."
Luna popped out of the pillar she was hiding in and activated her lightsaber as she shouted, "NEVER!!!" Charming Thunder turned to see her charging at him. She tried to hit his head but he blocked that attack. He tried to strike her right hoof but Luna blocked that attack. He then blasted her through the glass window and landed on the ground of the castle wall. He jumped out of the window and locked his blade to hers. Luna then did some strikes as he blocked the same strike over and over again. He then punched her in the chest and sliced her weapon in half. He then kicked her to the ground and pointed his crimson blade to her throat. "You...were destined to destroy me." Charming Thunder grinned as she said, "Do it. Give in to your hatred." Twilight landed behind Charming Thunder and placed a hoof on his shoulder.
"She's beaten," she said. "Let it go." He turned to her and turned back at Luna.
Charming Thunder deactivated his weapon and said, "Keep her restrained." Twilight used her magic to restrain Luna's hooves and legs to make sure she doesn't move. His horn glowed and he placed his horn on her head. Luna started to scream due to the impact of the spell.
A scream was heard in Celestia's ear from Canterlot as she flew to the castle. "Luna?" she said. She then saw Charming Thunder and Twilight standing in front of the unconscious princess of the night. She landed on the ground and walked up to her sister.
Luna groaned and slowly opened her eyes and saw a blur of her sister. "Ngh. What happened?" she asked.
Celestia helped her up as she said, "Its a long story. I'll explain later." She then turned to Twilight and Charming Thunder and said, "Thank you for saving my sister, Charming Thunder."
"I'm just glad that the war is finally over," he said as he placed a hoof around Twilight's shoulder.
"Me too. Now if you excuse us. Me and my sister have a lot to talk about." She then walked with her sister inside the castle as Twilight and Charming Thunder did the same.
The next day, the throne room was crowded as Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Twilight stood at the top of the stairs. The door of the throne room opened as Charming Thunder, Rainbow Dash, Applejack in her armor, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie walked up to them. Once they reached to the top of the stairs, Shining Armor stepped up and levitated a case full of medals. One by one, he placed each one around each of their necks. They then bowed to the princesses and Celestia then said, "Mares and gentlecolts, we are gathered here today to honor the heroism of these six brave fighters to restore peace to Equestria who ended the war, destroyed the Death Star, and the one who was brave to redeem my sister. I give you the heroes of Equestria." The group then turned to face the audience as Applejack gave Charming Thunder a noogie as the crowd cheered for the heroes of Equestria.
