Celestia decides to go out for a walk through Canterlot, both to get some fresh air and to go shopping for a little bit to get rid of the monotony of her day. Then, she hears a sound she never expected. A stallion weeping softly. She dismisses her guards and goes into the home she heard the crying come from. What she sees shocks her to her core: A stallion, hanging from his ceiling. She quickly cuts him down and brings him back to the world of the living. His name is Ki Firestorm. He's been in a deep depression for a long time, driving away his friends and loved ones with a series of bad decisions.
Then he's given a second chance at life by the one pony he would never expect. The princess of the sun.
