The Hunted

“So who wants to go first” Cade started, Pinkie of course was the first to go. “HI I’m Pinkie Pie. I can’t wait to throw you a PARTY!!!” she said, being way too happy and loud as usual. “Please stay away from me” Cade thought. Twilight spoke up next “Hi, I’m Princess Twilight Sparkle, thank you for cooperating with us.” Cade groaned mentally “yeah you would proudly say you’re a princess.” Then the two of the others spoke up “My name is Rarity…” “Applejack…”

“Well they seemed real excited to meet me” Cade joked with himself, as rainbow dash got right in front of his face, way in his personal space.

“I’m Rainbow Dash and YOU better behave yourself!” Cade just smiled and tried his best not to respond to her in baby talk like you would for your pet. “I didn’t plan on causing a scene, come on Dash I just got here. Don’t hate me because I’m human.”

“Don’t call me Dash! And I don’t hate you but I don’t plan on letting my guard down either, you have no idea what your kind did to us!”

Cade nodded sadly, he forgot that someone must have done terrible things to this world. If a human landed in this children’s story with powers, then they would easily be able to take advantage of the naïve population and leaders. Right when Cade started to feel a little depressed about the whole situation, a sweet little voice spoke up.

“Umm … I’m Fluttershy… and il be taking care of you this evening.” That brought Cade out of his funk and made him smile. He gave himself a little challenge for the evening … to get CUDDLES!

“I’m Happy to meet you all. My name is Cade Adams, thank you for taking care of me for the time being.”

Cade sat up and realized that his IPod and his headphones were still with him though his beer is MIA, despite the loss of his booze, still having his IPod gave him a little hope. If it took a little longer than expected, or if the worst case scenario occurred and he was stuck here, then he would still have the music he loved with him with him for a while. He quickly checked to see if the player still worked and was happy to hear the words of Disturbed.

“This is the way I pray

Living my life's not hard enough

Take everything away”

Cade only found the lyrics ironic considering if Twilight couldn’t open a portal back home. He would be left with nothing but clothes on his back and his IPod. So he quickly shut off the music player to save the battery.

“What is that thing?” Twilight asked somewhat cautiously.

“It’s called an IPod” Cade responded “It’s a machine that has music from my world saved on it… i'm not really sure if you have anything like it so I’m not really sure how to explain It.” he lied knowing that they have turn table.

“That’s so cool! CAN I LISTEN TO IT!” screamed Pinkie

“Well it doesn’t last forever Pinkie. And if I can’t get back home whatever juice it has left is all the music I would get from my old world. So I would like to save its battery life if that’s ok, maybe I’ll show you later if I’m stuck here.” Cade said, feeling a little more talkative than usual.

Pinkie just nodded. “O.K. I will hold you to it”

“Haha ok I promise” Cade said merrily, he looked out the window seeing nightfall starting to come “I see it’s getting dark. Mind showing me where I’ll be staying tonight?”

Fluttershy smiled and quickly whispered to Twilight probably asking for directions, and then turned back to the human “please if you would follow me.”

Cade resisted the urge to jizz in his pants and followed her out the door, waving good bye to the rest of the ponies. Fluttershy remained relatively quiet as they traveled through a few different hallways, Cade didn’t mind though since he took the chance to do what any Flutterfag would do in this situation, eye fuck the shit out of her! “Man I wish this was a humanoid version of Equestria or at least anthro, so she would have boobies.” He internally was a little disappointed but then again, he was more of a personality guy anyway so he didn’t really care what they looked like, so still if he was stuck here and had no other options… maybe he would fuck a pony, hell who knows.

Fluttershy finally spoke up as they reached a lone wooden door, “we are here.” She opened the door and led Cade into the room. The bedroom was actually pretty nice, well if it was just for ponies. There was just one large bed that really wasn’t long enough for a full grown human to sleep on. Even if you laid perpendicular to the head rest, but the couch was pretty long, it would be enough to support his mere 5’9’’ height, along the walls there was a small library which really didn’t interest Cade in the slightest, and a small table in the middle of the room which had chairs that seemed to be at an adult sitting level. As Cade surveyed the room, Fluttershy trotted up to the couch and sat down.

“Please make yourself at home. Would you like anything to eat or drink?”

Cade smiled at the thought of the yellow mare taking care of him for the night.

“Maybe a glass of water for when I go to bed, I already had dinner before I fell into the portal, so I should be ok for tonight. Oh if you really are taking care of me tonight I insist you take the bed. It’s way too short for me and I will be completely fine with the couch.”

Fluttershy hesitated a bit, hearing that she could have the bed, “Well I guess I’ll take the bed if you’re sure that is ok, and I will go grab you some water. Please make yourself at home while I’m gone.” Then she proceeded to walk out the door leaving Cade all on his own, he sighed a bit, secretly wishing he would have more time on this world. It seemed like a good place just like the show My Little Pony depicted. He walked up to a window and looked out enjoyed a warm breeze that came through. “It must be summer” he thought and looked out on the beautiful trees and the mountains that resided next to the forest… but something caught his attention. He saw several small shadows move in the corner of his eye. He quickly turned to see several dark pony like shapes moving around the old castle, some flying with wings. “What the hell?” he quickly turned to run to the door just as Fluttershy walked in.

“I brought your water just like you asked!” she said happily only to see the human charge her with a serious expression. “Umm… what’s going on?”

“Damn that was quick” “Oh sorry Fluttershy, I just thought of something that I forgot to ask Twilight. Hey if you don’t mind, do you mind holding on to my IPod for a bit? I will be right back.”

Fluttershy just looked at the human suspiciously “umm why?”

“Why? Uhh I just have a question on how the portal is going to work, and I didn’t want my ipod around that portal machine just in case it messes with the internal electronics… “eeh at least it seems legit.”

Fluttershy stared at him for a moment but she had no reason not to believe him. She nodded and stepped aside so he could get out. He handed his IPod over to her (which she somehow held in her hooves, it was kind of weird) and casually walked out the door with a sly grin on his face.

“Holy shit that was easier than I thought! Now that she’s safe in the room and I’m free to go see what those shadowy figures were that was approaching the castle. And if I had to bet money on it, I would bet it was those damn changelings... man I’m not even here an hour and things are already getting crazy”

Twilight was walking her friends to the entrance of the castle. They were all very hesitant to leave considering the next big mega villain might be sleeping in the same room with one of their best friends (HUEHUEHUE). Twilight was getting really tired of hearing all their complaints. “Girls I promise you he is harmless. I sensed no magic in him, and I’m sure you remember, humans without magic are pretty much harmless to us (if only they knew), and on top of that Fluttershy is good with beasts and animals, much better than the rest of us. I’m sure she will be careful with him.”

“Careful with what” a villainous voice interrupted. Twilight quickly turned towards the entrance to see an old foe with a small army by her side. “Chrysalis!!!” Twilight Roared. “What are you doing here?!?”

“I’m here to get an old artifact I learned about after the human attacks, a power that birthed the Alicorn Amulet.” Chrysalis smiled at the thought of something so powerful in her possession, she will never have to find a good source of love again for her people, and on top of that she could take over Equestria with relative ease. “I thought these ruins were abandoned, but here you are Twilight trying to make this old castle your own it seems. Now stand aside before my changelings have to teach you a lesson”

The main six minus Fluttershy quickly braced for combat, each turning their attention to the changeling queen. “We won’t let that happen Chrysalis! Your reign end’s today!” Twilight exclaimed heroically.

Chrysalis merely laughed “good luck with that…” in that instant her small army charged the 5 ponies. Twilight started with a mass stasis aura spell which trapped the first wave of changelings in a magical spell holding them still. At that moment Rainbow Dash and Applejack just attacked every changeling they saw trying to cause as much damage to them as possible in one strike, before they turned to the next changeling. Rarity used her magic to grab a changeling and throw it into another, probably hoping that was enough. Pinkie, after the human attacks learned her high speed movement can cause massive amount of damage by just by running into things. So she was like a pink pinball running into changeling after changeling, bouncing off each one, only to be directed to another, each time sending the victim flying. The 5 brave ponies that did battle with the changeling army seemed to have the upper hand, until the second wave came in flying at them without Twilights stasis spell on them.

At the same time Chrysalis seemed to slip through the action and ran off into a hallway outside of the battle and began to laugh maniacally as she proceeded. Twilight looked in horror as the changeling queen ran from the battle that she was now trapped in. She tried to fight her way to the hallway that Chrysalis was in, but her progress was halted by dozens of lesser changelings determined to let their queen pass.

So Cade was lost, he normally had a good sense of direction, but this castle had him completely turned around. His old school Super Metroid exploration sense was failing him, and he had no clue how to get to the front of the building. “I wish that damn portal sent me to the front of the castle not to the damn library. Fucking Twilight why did she have to be such a nerd and build the portal there.” His thoughts were interrupted as he heard an evil laughter approaching him. He hid behind a pillar, slightly recognizing the voice. “… Shit that’s Queen Chrysalis… I knew I was right but then again, it’s either her, Discord or Sombra, unless princess waifu goes all Nightmare Moon again.”

He stayed hidden behind the pillar and waited for the sound of hooves or whatever the hell changelings called their feet, past him. He ran out from behind the pillar and started chasing her. “Whatever she’s after its not fucking good… I’m sure the princesses left valuable artifacts here that would give most RPG enthusiasts a boner…” and with that he shut off his mind and started to focus, determined to stay behind his target and make sure she didn’t find or hear him.

After a short run down a spiral staircase Chrysalis began to slow down. She entered several hidden doors, some with magical seals which she passed through easily. She must of had the keys or tools to open the magically sealed doors, or the princesses did a really shitty job protecting their magical items. Cade figured it was probably a little bit of both. He continued to sneak behind her, sometimes having to get too close to her for comfort, if the hidden doors began to close.  She finally began to walk arrogantly assuming that no one was following her, and then she began her evil predictable monologue “Finally I will obtain Megalith, the crystal stone that corrupted the greatest heroes who tried to use its power, and destroyed the darkest villains who were too weak to control it.” She smiled evilly “The power to use any villainous abilities the user can imagine… OOHHH the possibilities are endless, my powers combined with Nightmare Moon, or Kings Sombra, or go with one of the more ancient villains. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA”

Cade tried to stop himself from laughing. “Wow that stupid bitch explained not only the thing she was after but what it actually does, pretty much teaching anyone in earshot range on how to use it for themselves. GOD I LOVE EVIL MONOLOGIUING, but I seriously need to stop her from getting it… Megalith… whatever…” He lost his train of thought and just focused on following her in a way that would make Sam Fisher or Solid Snake proud. After several more minutes of sneaking, Chrysalis came to a room with a rather large object hovering over a waist high pillar, and with that she began to laugh evilly and continued her monologue “Now Megalith shall be mine and all of Equestria will bow down to me!!!”

Cade looked in the room and saw a … Stone? Chrystal thing a tad smaller than the human torso… It was red crystal on the outside and had a Black Core that was almost like a black stone like ball in the middle but at the same time it was almost like a black liquid that continuously shifted. The crystal shape looked like a rhombus in the  2nd dimension (X,Y axis) and but in the 3rd (Z axis) the crystal was fairly short in length and flat, though it seemed to have a sharp point that went down the middle. There also was missing a small chunk out of one of its long tips which he assumed the crystal chunk that was taken to create the Alicorn amulet.

As he looked he was kind of mesmerized by the cool red and black crystal stone object but quickly came back to his senses.  He knew this would probably be his once change to ambush the changeling queen while her guard was down and hopefully beat her before she got super overpowered by this crystal. So he sprinted from his hiding place and jumped on her back and began swinging his fists at her face hoping to land a lucky punch and knock her out. Needless to say she was pretty pissed.

“AAAHHHH HOW DARE YOU” She screamed as she grabbed Cade in a telekinesis Spell. She brought him in front of her so she could look at his form.  “A HUMAN!!! HOW DARE YOU ATTACK ME!!! NOW DIE!”

That’s when she made the biggest mistake of her life. Not attacking the Crystal Empire. Not, not finishing the three princesses when she had the upper hand, her defining failure was when she threw Cade Forward which happened to be in the same direction that Megalith was floating, when she could have easily thrown him another direction and obtained the power she desired easily. She quickly realized her mistake and looked in horror as the human spun in midair and quickly slammed into the Megalith. His body aligned with the crystal so his torso perfectly matched the long ways of the crystal. A true one in a million shot, his body slammed into the wall, causing the crystal to pierce him, the flat short end split his skin and destroyed his spine as it entered, Cade’s vision quickly turned black as he hit the wall.

As the world faded and his life flashed before his eyes, he heard a dark voice enter his mind. “So what do we have here…”
