//-------------------------------------------------------// Alone and Shattered -by ssssssssssssss- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Mistreatment //-------------------------------------------------------// Mistreatment Midnight Dash trotted slowly into Ponyville, ponies shouting nasty things at her and throwing stuff at her as she trotted to the food stands, being glared at by even the owners of the vendors- all but one, a dark green stallion with dark blue mane and blue eyes. "Oh hi Midnight! Whatcha want today?" He greeted, smiling small. "I'll have a pack of celery stalks and a bag of apples, Dark Breeze." Midnight responded, placing 4 bits on the counter. Dark Breeze got out the order and shifted it toward Midnight with his wing. "See ya later!" He waved smally. Midnight's bag felt heavy as her eyes drooped, but she awoke more when ponies threw stones at her. She sighed and tears streamed down her face. The sky was grey and becoming darker, thick with grey clouds and fog. Some ponies snarled at Midnight, words like, "Animal!" "Killer!" "You monster!" And thus, she had no friends, except for Dark Breeze, a friend from foal school. Midnight was only an outcast, even to Ponyville. She continued to trot slowly towards home, and opened the door, clicked on the lights, and weeped herself to bed after a dinner with some stale bread and spoiled apples. She had no job to pay for food, and often begged for it from her only friend, Dark Breeze. But even he had to sometimes say no; the economy was growing rough. Only music soothed Midnight of her pain, and often she would sing softly. One day Dark Breeze suggested that she goes to see a white unicorn named Silver Melodies, who lived farther from town, and might be able to help Midnight. She agreed and thanked Dark for mentioning it. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Visit //-------------------------------------------------------// The Visit Midnight awoke, her vision blurred as it came into focus. She packed a small saddle back full of her best food and drinks, and her black hat and coat so no pony would reconize her. She also packed a few bits just in case if it costed any money.  Midnight also had a great idea if Silver didn't want to talk, or sing or even see her. "She is living outside of Ponyville, as Dark Breeze had clearly stated anyway. She must be lonely.  I think she'll appreciate my visit." Midnight announced to herself aloud. She has always talked to herself nowadays. Midnight began her flight to the outskirts of Ponyville, a bit nervous and excited at the same time. She flew to the house where Dark and said where Silver lived, and knocked on the door, her heart tensed.
