Chapter 1: The New Pony
As I walked I saw an empty house in Ponyville. There was a sign that said for sale. I thought to myself, maybe I should just stay here for a while, I know Princess Celestia very well, I'll ask her if I may stay.
2 weeks later..
I walked along the sidewalk when I saw another pony my age. She was a light blue, with a bunch of hair colors, yellow, orange, red and blue. She walked towards me and started acting funny. "Hey, your that new pony, right?"
"Uh.. yeah so far I am liking Ponyville."
"Well my name's Rainbow Dash, what's yours?"
"My name is... Au- Autumn."
"Well follow me, I'll show you around." The ponies walk around pointing and laughing. They eventually ended up near an abandoned cave.
"Well this is an abandoned cave, apparently some strange fools came in and never came out, just like in the movies! It sounds cheesy, but who knows."
Well great. I thought Maybe I can go in some creepy costume, while I am walking with her to this cave tomorrow and scare her! I thought in my mind, score!
"Hey Autumn? You okay? You're like... laughing under your breath... Is there something funny?" *Snicker* "Okay?.. Anyway let's go, I'm getting tired. I mean it's dark out, and I would like to keep showing you around tomorrow."
They start walking towards Autumn's home.
"Is that Pony okay?" Autumn points to an old female pony.
"That's Granny Smith, my best friend Apple Jack's grandmother. I doubt you even know Apple."
I woke in the morning and ate breakfast, when I heard a knock at the door.
"Autumn, it's me! Rainbow."
"One minute!"
I got into a white costume, with fake blood all over it's wings.
"Actually, meet me at that cave!"
I'd be surprised if Rainbow was silly enough to actually meet me there, than just say somewhere else. Then I snuck out the window and headed for the cave. When I was in the cave waiting for Rainbow, I heard from my behind "Hey there sugar."
I turned around and saw a black figure! I started screaming, and the last thing I remember from that point of time was getting hit with a brick. I woke up on a strap chair. I tried getting unloosened, but failed. I then heard scraping, not annoying but loud enough to damage someone's ears. Then I saw the black figure again.
"Let me go, you perv!"
He didn't speak. He started coming closer, but then the straps holding me were loosening, then I heard a whisper.
"Don't worry, it's me I'm getting you loose."
Really, I wasn't able to recognize that voice. I was hearing wrong in that situation. I tried looking back but couldn't see anypony. My heart was thumping, then the straps were loose enough for me to get out!
"Head for the light!"
Then the two Ponies escaped the cave. They realized they were on the opposite side of the cave! They didn't want to go back inside, so they would have to climb the mountains. They were to tired so they would start fresh in the morning. They eventually found a nearby city.
"How is a CITY this close?" "Whatev's right? Let's just get a hotel room and stay for the night."
It started fogging and storming.
"Wow the weather is bad!"
"What?!"
These two couldn't hear eachother, and eventually Autumn saw a bright red light saying "Hotel/Restaurant.
"Hello, Ma'am what may I do for you?"
"Oh, just the cheapest room with two beds is all we need." Rainbow said.
"I apologize for the inconvenience, but all our rooms are booked. We're just going to have to give you the lobby to sleep." The hotel worker started whispering. "I'll make it free, there is bad weather. So I don't think you can leave anytime soon."
"Thanks!" The Ponies said.
"Shhhhh!"
"Sorry" they both answered.
It was finally closing time, and they turned the lights off. The two ponies snuck to the highest level just below the top ceiling. Then they looked through a window.
"What a view!"
"Wonder if storms as bad as this happen much in this city..."
(The next day).
"Rise and shine!" I saw Rainbow eating at the nearest table.
I looked around, and saw that Rainbow had taken me to a cafe part of the hotel, while I was asleep.
"Did you get up early?"
" Oh yeah, but I'm not tired." "They serve some Hot Cocoa. YO, WAITER!"
I started wondering why I had been brought to a cafe. I then looked at Rainbow embarrassed with the whole room of ponies looking over our table.
"Was that...?" "Sorry I've been wanting to do that for a long time!"
The waiter came up with a dirty look at Rainbow, but a flirty look at me. Oh great, I thought, just have some Wisepony flirting. The waiter looked funny, he wore a maid's apron, his coat was a pale brown, and he had a combed mustache.
"We'll have two regular hot coacoas, please."
"So... why were you dressed in a costume..?"
"Well to tell you the truth, I was gonna scare you, but then had a good laugh about it over the night. It was rather rude to do, and I'm sorry."
"Anyway let's start hiking, because Ponyville has a new mayor, it's that creature."
"We have a long day ahead of us."
Rainbow pulls out a newspaper, saying that Ponyville in Equestria has been overtaken.
Autumn pulls out her iPony.
"Where on Earth did you get that?"
"I brought it with me, when I got knocked out that creep-o took all my stuff, except my iPony. Now to think of it, that makes NO sense whatsoever."
A pony walks in the cafe. A yellow, and pink pony.
"FLUTTERSHY! You won't believe what happened to us."
"What are you doing in here?" Rainbow said.
"Doing what some other ponies...(She says under her breath) are doing.. evecuating."
"A who, what what?"
"I'm-"
The waiter comes to Fluttershy, putting his hoof on her back. Fluttershy looks back with embarrasment.
"HEY, stop and just keep doing your job!" Rainbow said.
He started backing off, and ran into the kitchen.
"Wh..what was that about?" Fluttershy looks at us in tears.
"It's okay, Flutter. It was disturbing, but he's long gone... if that's what you call somepony in a nearby kitchen."
"Anyway, this is Autumn. Fluttershy, Autumn. Autumn, Fluttershy."
"Pleased to meet you, Autumn."
"Sup."
Fluttershy starts looking down.
"Fluttershy asked if she can follow us, because of all the chaos around, and with no home.. she'll need her friends to help out."
"Yeah, I'm totally fine with it!" The three ponies start walking, for adventures to begin.
"Fluttershy, have you seen Pinkie, Twilight Sparkle, Spike or Apple Bloom?"
"Not that I know of... that doesn't sound good."
Chapter 2: Traveling Far, but Slow
Autumn starts panting. The poor three are dehydrated. Rainbow Dash kept flying around, looking high and low for any nearby houses, or stores... but no luck.
"Oh my god, I'm an idiot!"
"No, Rainbow. You aren't." Autumn answered.
"No, seriously! I can just turn somewhat of a cloud, and take some of it's water supply out of it."
"Well silly, better get to it.. I'm so thirsty." Fluttershy said with a gulp.
Several hours past, and eventually Rainbow Dash found a small village, with dried grass houses.
"Guys! I see a village!"
Rainbow Dash descended to the ground, and started hurrying the two other ponies.
"Hey, hey, easy on the pushing, It's not like I have eight legs to walk around with."
"Guys... the sky." Fluttershy said in a wimpy voice.
Rainbow and Autumn kept arguing, so they couldn't hear Fluttershy. The sky started turning black, but not a night sky type of black. Pitch black, with no stars or a moon.
"Look up, th-the sky..."
"No, I have a better tail, yours is just blue! And my coat obviously beats your white coat, white can get stained very easily!"
"Yes, but I can keep it clean, without a sweat."
Right as Autumn said that, she fell into a pit of mud.
"Pfft! Haha, nice job Einstein!"
"Okay, okay. I was clumsy."
"Th-th-the sky is turning black."
Autumn and Rainbow both looked up.
"What.. is happening?" Autumn said with a gasp.
"And what is that white little speck in the air?"
The speck started getting bigger, and bigger.
"Something is falling! Move!"
A white piano falls onto the ground.
"What in the heavens.. why is there a piano falling out of the sky in the first place?"
In the distance, the three heard
"CLEAR!" *A distant boom* "CLEAR!" *Boom.* "OKAY, ONE MORE TIME!" "CLEAR!" *Boom*
"Many more pianos! Get as far West as you can!"
The three started running West. Rainbow almost got hit with one of the pianos, whilst flying.
"This is so ironic! The other day in Ponyville, this guy started throwing large objects at me, that were white!"
"What were they throwing at you?"
"Pie! Don't ask why they were white... I don't think I want to know myself."
The three pianos eventually have hit the ground, but the ponies were slightly going North West, so they made it to the village.
"Who is responsible for this? This... ugh!"
"Why couldn't they have been colorful flowers..." Fluttershy said in tears.
"See, now you're making her cry! No one EVER makes Fluttershy cry on my watch!"
"Why were you shooting pianos out of cannons in the first place?! And out of everything you can shoot, pianos?!"
"No one has any musical talent, here in Counterlot. I thought it would be a good idea to get rid of them, they were taking up space that we needed."
"Well at least take them far, and burn them! Not just shoot them out of no where!"
"We weren't expecting any visitors. As our grant of apology, we will get you anything out of grass."
Autumn starts whispering into Fluttershy's ear.
"Flutter, these guys are idiots, think you can give them a charm, to just... stop?"
"I'll try, buddy. But if I don't succeed, I know you can do it."
"Rainbow Dash, it's okay. Let me take role, okay buddy?"
With an angry sour face, Rainbow Dash let Fluttershy take role.
"Hi guys, we are explorers. We are very weary, and would like some place to stay for the night. Can we pleeeeaase stay the night?"
Fluttershy starts doing adorable puppy eyes.
"No."
"Wh-"
"No."
"But it's the least you can do.."
There was a small pause for 4 seconds.
"Okay, you leave at 12:00."
"Thank you so much. You don't know how grateful we are."
"Yeah, grateful that I'm still alive." Rainbow Dash said under her breath.
"Well, welcome and make yourself at home. Not too much, then you'll be wanting to stay here for a long while."
"I doubt that'll happen." Rainbow said under her breath.
Hours past. Fluttershy went outside to examine the sky, and meet everyone, while Rainbow Dash was wide asleep on a bed. Autumn kept staring out of a window, as if she had a lot on her mind.
*Snore* "Ugh?"
Rainbow woke up.
"Why the long face?"
"Oh.. I don't know. I'm just wondering what caused the sky to change."
"Well Autumn, you need a shower. Go take one, and I'll talk to you when you get back."
30 minutes later.
"Oh Autumn, you look so much better when you're clean." Flutter said quietly.
"Thank you, have you got any clue on what happened to the sky?"
"Yes, look at that distant white glare."
"Another piano?!"
"No, no. It's shaped like a diamond. When I flew up to it, the object was a white orb."
"Well all we need is for Rainbow to do her sonic boom, and she could possibly break that orb.."
"Yes, but we might have to make sure it's the whole reason why the sky is black. Who knows if it's dangerous, or not... I recommend we wait until we take it, and find more information on it."
"That sounds about right..."
The sky started turning red, and the orb turned blue.
"Autumn, look at the orb now, it's the opposite color of the sky. It's blue..."
"That could mean that..."
The two said together: "If we somehow break that orb, the sky will turn blue again, but we have to do it at the right timing!"
