September: first day of school.
Chapter 1
I was lucky enough that my parents were there to take my to my first day of school and wanted to, instead of having to go by myself. Which would have probably taken me awhile to actually find it so then I would if been late and that would of been a bad first impression.
It was a beautiful day in Clouds Dale that day and when I got there, there was a hole bunch of ponies and fillies I've never seen! Probably cause I never leaved the property of where I lived. When me and my parents started to walk up the sidewalk that leads right to the front door a grey coated filly walked up to me. "Hello! I'm Derpy Hooves,I've never seen a filly like you around before. Are you sure you live here?" She said her eyes were very strange,her right one was looking at the ground and her left was looking at me. It creeped me out a lot,I was silent and I just looked at the ground in response. Then the next thing I felt was somepony pushed me,and I heard "Go on and answer her!" It was my father I could tell by his voice,I was never good at interacting cause I don't have siblings and I was never aloud to go outside and no pony was aloud to come over. I stared at the ground the hole time refusing to make eye contact, and I answered "Um...yes I do live here...if I...I didn't then....I wouldn't be here." "Well what's your name then strange filly?" She tilted her head to the right still staring at me with those creepy eyes. "It's....it's...it's..." I was cut off by my father "Go on tell her or else no supper." My eyes widened, No! Anything but that! I could miss supper again I'm already to light! "I'm Rainbow Dash."
"Nice to meet you Daindo hash! I'm sure we'll be great friends!" She turned around and whent to play with the other fills on the playground. "It's Rainbow Dash!" I called after her but it didn't seem like she heard me. "Come on! Let's go we already got distracted by that miserable filly, and time is preshuse you know." My parents are so alike no wonder they love each other so much,after my mom said that she started pushing me to the door till I got the point to start walking.
The school wasn't all that big,just one room which was the class room. There was four rose of desks five maybe six desks each row.
"Hello there Miss and Mister Dash! I see you're putting your daughter in my school." There was a white mare with a light blue mane at the chalkboard and it seemed like she knew my parents even tho I've never seen her before,but I guess that's no surprise.
"Yes we are. Rainbow this is your teacher Ms.Cloud." Said my farther showing no expressing in his face as usual.
"Hello there little miss Dash!" Ms.Cloud crouched down so she was the same height as me. "You can call me Ms.Cloud,I'm happy to have the famous Dashes daughter in my class,you better be ready for lots of attenching from the other fillies. Okay?" I just nod.why would I get a lot of attenching? I'm not a special pony
"We'll see you later Rainbow. Be good for your teacher." I wanted to run up to my mom after she said that and give her a hug for once but she would just through me off. I felt like crying,I don't understand this concept of school and to top it off I'm in a place I'm not comfortable in.
"Class is going to start soon little ms.Dash go ahead and choose a desk." I go to the back and choose the right corner if you're facing the chalkboard. I had a feeling I'd feel more comfortable in the back and a spot where I wouldn't be surrounded by other ponies. Ms.Cloud seemed like a nice mare,caring for other ponies. maybe she'll care about me! But I doubted that would ever happen. No one has ever really cared about me except one of the maids,Dancer. She'd always try and make me smile and laugh and dance for me,she might if been a maid but she's one of the nicest ponies I know. She's also my best friend,probably going to be my only friend...
A bell rang. It made me jump out of my chair and then I tried to hide behind my desk but it didn't really work.what....where did...that come from...? The next thing I know all the fillies I saw outside are coming in and Ms.Cloud turned around from writhing on the board. Some fillies gave me a glare and it didn't seem like a nice glare as they walked by,others who made it to there seats already glanced at me then talked to the pony beside them. I'm sure they were talking about me. Im not welcome here,or everypony knows who my family is and is just..
"Okay class hurry and get to your seats. As some of you know by seeing me around Cloudsdale, my name is Cloud Prancer but you call me by Ms.Cloud.Today we will learn something very important to everypony across Equestria. Can anypony tell me what that is?"
food? Water maybe?.. No that can't be right cause everypony should know that
"Yes miss Ivy." I looked over to see a purple coated filly with a dark green mane with her hoof lifted up. why is her hoof up? Can't she just say what it is?"
"The most important thing to everypony is there cutiemark" I don't know if it was me but it seemed that she looked at me for a brief second
"Very good Ivy. Yes we are!" Ms.Cloud looked lost in thought for a second.maybe she forgot to say something.
"OH! That reminds me! I forgot to say the rules of the school!" She putted her hoof in her face "how could I forget?" Ms.Cloud walked closer to her desk which was right in front of the chalkboard. It was brown with an apple.a vase of some weird plant sticking out of it.
"There arnt many rules but I'm afraid I have to say them all...When you have a question or are answering a question raise your hoof. Like how Ms.Ivy showed us earlier. No yelling,no running in the school,when you're soposed to be quiet please no talking. No talking while the teacher's talking,Lighting." She looked at a black stalling sitting a few rows ahead of me,he was talking to the pony beside him. "Sorry Ms.Cloud."
"Outside,play safe,no pushing and wait your turn on the slide and other equipment. And finally absolutely NO fighting! If I see fighting you're being sent home and I'm calling your parents! Okay so back to the lessen."
No fighting well I didn't think that be a problem for me really cause I didn't know enypony and I've never played on this 'equipment'.
"Okay so cutie marks." Ms.Cloud started walking to go in front of her desk. I raise my hoof. "Yes miss little Dash?"
"What's a cutie mark? And how is it important to everypony?" I ask,I've never heard of this cutiemark thing.
"I was just getting to that,but excellent question." She gave a smile,but I could feel some ponies beside me looked at me with evil stairs. "You see this here?" Ms.cloud pointed at her flank,there was a cloud with a smiling face in it. "This is my cutiemark,it indicates I'm soposed to be a teacher and teach fillies like all you about equestria and a lot of other stuff! The reason I start with this topic is so you all try your hardest at everything cause your cutiemark could be anything!" Ms.Cloud explained in great detail about cutiemarks that before we knew it it was recess. All the fillies went outside so I just followed slowly,not sure what I was going to do.
Chapter 2
I stood by the door watching as all the fillies played on the play ground having fun. Do I go join them? What do I do?
"Hey Rainbow mane mare!" I turned around,it was Ivy and some other fillies. One was light blue coated and silver mane, the other was very lighted orange coated and a darker orange mane.
"M..me?"
"Yes you! Do you see any other rainbow maned pony around here?"
"N..no I guess not"
"Come with us" Ivy when around the corner,I followed she lead me to the back corner of the fence around the school.
"Are you really apart of the Dash family?" Ask the orange filly
"Yes I am.." I didn't make eye contact and because of that the next thing I know I got hit across the face.
"THEN WHY WOULD YOU ASK A STUPID QUESTION LIKE THAT!?" Ivy looked really mad
I sat down and put my hoof where she slapped me. "Well..cause.."
"Members of the Dash family are really smart and wouldn't ask stupid questions like that!" Ivy slapped me on the other side of the face. "What makes you think you can ack so stupid?" Asked the silver maned pony.
"I'm...I'm not acting stupid.."
"YES YOU ARE!"
No..I'm not! You see.."
"I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT!"
Ivy burst of anger she must of really looked up to my family,she turned around and bucked me and I flew a meter away. I tried to get up but it hurt a lot,I looked behind me and they were running after me probably going to best me up more. I tried to get up and start running but slipped and the orange filly bucked my hind. I slid my face on the cloud that time I flew. Then I got up as fast as I could even tho I aced all over and ran for the door to the school. Then the bell rang to come inside,I looked behind me and Ivy and her friends ran past me and as Ivy pasted she pushed me to the left and I hit the school wall.
I was lying on the cloud feeling light headed and dizzy but I got up and staggered to the door.
I think my head was bleeding somewhere I could feel the blood,but I ignored it. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. I made it around the corner to see Ms.Cloud she looked at me then got this look of horror.
"Rainbow Dash! What happened!" Ms.Cloud ran up to me sounded worried. Some of the fillies came out to see what was happening.
"It's...it's okay. I just fell." I sat down and groaned in pain
"It looks like you did more then fall!" She circled around me "looks like somepony bucked you a few times"
My eyes were starting to grow heavy but I refused to pass out.
"Let's get you inside to fix you up as best we can,and we'll figure out who did this! And on the first day too! What's wrong with ponies these days?
I had bandages around my head.on my hind and around a couple hoofs.
"Now who did this to you mis Dash?" Ms.Cloud seemed angry but was good at not showing it
"C..can you call Dancer for me?"
"I'm not calling anyone till you tell me what happened." She stared at me with a stern look and all the rest of the class was looking in atisapassion wondering who did it.
"Why don't you ask Ivy and her two friends?" I looked up and nod to where Ivy and her friends were sitting.
"Ivy...Carrotop....Silver Dust...." Ms.Cloud was trying her best to keep her cool "Come here please."
The three girls walked up casually as if they did nothing. "Yes ms.Cloud?" They said at once
"I have but one question for you!" Ms.Clouds breath was getting heavier. "Yes?"
"Why in the name of Celestia would you beat up Miss Dash here?"
"Well it's acutely quiet simple really ms.Cloud" said Ivy
"Yes very"
"Very" said carrotop then Silver Dust
"It's that she is apart of the Dash family and the Dash family wouldn't ask a question like she did about cutiemarks." Ivy looked very proud of herself.
"Well I guess you haven't heard miss Dashes tail since she was very young then have you?" Ms.Cloud was tensing up
"They didn't give me time to explain,I was about to the. Ivy bucked me." I said looking at the floor
"Well I beat it's that she's been taught so much and was told to act stupid!" Silver Dust spat
No it wasn't! Ms.dash never left inside her house,never socialized and her only friends were.."
"Dancer" I said before Ms.cloud could say more. Everypony looked at me.
"Dancer is my only friend,when ever she could she would try and make me happy cause there was nothing to do in that house.no one ever taught me Enything. My parents were never really home,and I'd only see them from time to time on Tv." I didn't look up to look at anypony. There was silence after that. Ms.Cloud just looked at the ground.
"I'm going to call Dancer." I got up and walked to the phone at the far end of the school.
"Miss Cloud that can't be true! Dashes are never like that! EVER!" Ivy was trying to reashure herself that the Dash family was perfect.
"I'm afraid it is true Ivy. You know what schools done for today,everypony go home."
"Well there was only a few minutes left anyway." Said Lighting
Ms.Cloud walked over to me as I hung up.
"You going to be okay?"
"Yeah...I should be fine. Dancer's going to come pick me up." I was surprised bY a hug.
"I'm..im so sorry Rainbow Dash!" Ms.Cloud was crying while she hugged me
"How could somepony beat up a pony on the first day of school? Huh? Why? It's just not right!" Ms.Cloud stopped hugging me and put a hoof on my shoulder. "I...I promise" she said in between sniffs "I'll never let it happen again." She tried to smile
"You don't have to do that but thank you." Ms.Cloud hugged me again and I hugged back,it's not often I get hugs. I've only ever got them from Dancer.I wish I got more hugs. And ponies who cared about me. I felt myself starting to cry,but not out of pain it was out of happiness.
