//-------------------------------------------------------// The serpent and the stones. -by TwoPie- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Serpents and Men. //-------------------------------------------------------// Serpents and Men.    55 years after the grand finale of the 4 billion year reign of darkness across equestria, and all was nice. everypony was recovering, and the amount of bit coins it took now a-days just to buy a loaf of bread dropped from 10 bit coins per loaf, to 1.50. It was all going well, and more than just jobs were booming. There was a skyrocket in the amount of ponies born after the whole fight. What was scary though, was the amount of conflict that went on, trying to chose new leaders for each race of pony. They decided to call the three racial colonies, that separated and brought together the many races of ponies, "The Unity of Harmony."    Two Pie, had found a princess from a foreign land, who was looking for a mate of her own. They decided to call off their search for a mate, and got married, uniting equestria, and the foreign land together. Equestria's boarders didn't expand, they just got more trading posts open. They together had a son, named portatore di vista, who meet a bar mare at the age of 24,and had a lovely daughter named Fiore odora. She became a pony of trade, and meet a unicorn colt, who worked as his own pony. He did business trade as well, but more between cities in equestria. After that, they had a son named forte zoccolo. He then meet the great great grand-daughter of fluttershy, named Lily flower. They together had a daughter who was always sneaky, and quiet. They named her Serpente, following the Pie tradition, of naming their family by the proper name of the drako language. She was a red, with dark blue-violet hair. Her eyes also blue-violet, and her voice silent, and bold at the same time. She was quite the master with picking locks with her magic, and pick-pocketing along with stealing from sock drawers, and getting bit coins from the coin purses of the rich, and giving to the poor, she was somewhat the equestrian equivalent of robin hood. Serpente, always meant though to do good, but when she turned 16, she decided that she had so many run ins with the law, that one more would lead to jail. she ran north of equestria, and found a quaint little town that was selling hundreds of acres of land to anypony who had enough bit coins to buy it. She bought it, and then settled in for a good life living away from home, in a peaceful mellow land of hills, plains, and trees all for the sake of her own good.    It was a cool spring morning, and Serpente was just outside, picking these certain dragon-lilies for a potion to cure sickness. Not just any sickness-but the feather flu just in case she needed to give some to the local village for flu season. The Rug-nut team, was practicing in the field just a few hundred yards away from serpente's house, and none of them wanted to go into a season of rug-nut with sick players. They were the Nordic gryphons, and had the proud symbol of an ice gryphon. It was a snow white gryphon, in a simplistic style of just white, on a grey and ice-blue.    Nothing could ruin a day like today. As Serpente picked the last of about 250 dragon-lilies, she dropped the basket off in her house, and decided to go watch the intense practice for Rug-nut. This year, ifs he could get enough votes, her home arena would be used for the season starter of the entire season of rug-nut. It would be the Nordic gryphons versus the Sky High Pegasi. Two teams that absolutely hated each other.    She trotted along the grass, and found herself at the top of a hill, barely ever big enough to foreshadow over her house. She sat down on top of the bump of grassy earth in front of her little house (more like a hut to me.) and watched the players practice Rug-Nut.    "Hey, throw me the ball wing-macker!" Yelled the blacker, a black stallion, who had navy blue hair, and brown eyes.    "Sure thing, Storm chaser!" Yelled Wing macker, a bright yellow mare with lime and a bit lighter than lime-green hair, which was always let down so she could get faster speeds with arrow dynamics. She had pink eyes, and her wings weren't like any other pegasi's wings. they were almost, scaly, but thats what you get when your father was a dragon, and mother a pony who worked with  gem stones, for regular dressers, and furniture ETC. It was a dynamic throw after her reply, she literally dropped it, and at the same altitude she was, Storm chaser caught it, and threw it at the other blacker, on the team, that would be back up for him in the game. It hit the blacker, and he fell, but kept flying. Luckily, the stone balls were light, and only were there to just make the player, intended to get hit by, fall a few feet in altitude. any more than just falling down, and the blacker who threw it, was out with a whistle.    Serpente watched, not in awe, because it wasn't the first time she watched. she was 21, and had lived there for 5 years, and planned to live there longer.    She watched just watching them, all until the sunset, which then she could get them to the player's houses. she was the one who built the arena, her hut, and the tiny village of 12 houses just half a mile away from her home. "All right you guys, get off to bed, ya'got the beggining game of the season in the morning." She cared a lot for the sport, because it was her equivalent to TV. The players got TV, but she didn't need it. she liked to read, sketch, and watch them play. the three things she did while she wasn't sleeping.    After she got all of the players to their homes, she got home, and finally threw herself into her bed, taking her favorite book, and a small slice of lemon cake to eat while reading, and read for an hour or so before falling a sleep. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________    Serpente woke up, with pecking at her window, and a few caws. she left her small room, and found a bright light at the window, in the shape of a phoenix. "Hmm?" she said, walking to her door to open up a conversation with a bird. "what do you want?"    "CAAAW!" the phoenix said. Serpente noticed a scroll in the talons of the fire-bird. She bit it out of its talons, and unfolded it with the glow of her horn. "Dear Serpente Hello two times great grand daughter. I'm Two Pie, the king of equestria. I write to you, from the phoenix Philomena because Of an urgent message. Say this spell at least five times then touch your horn to Philomena's forehead. It will bring you back to Canterlot. -Two Pie"    She saw a quickly- written spell on the back, which was hard to... say, yet she understood it. it wasn't exactly english, or spanish, but it was something all right. Her horned now glowed like fire, and she touched her horn to Philomena's forehead.    She got sucked into Philomena's mind, seeing what she saw, feeling what she felt, hearing what she heard. She saw many things though, like clocks, a big blue box that was two ponies tall, and one pony wide, with a door, open to the sight of two ponies inside, one with a time glass cutie mark, and another with a cutie mark of bubbles. She then was thrown out, to the floor of a throne room, in Canterlot.    There, stood in front of her, Was a tall rusty-red stallion with a crown of many gems, who stood waiting for her. "Hello Serpente, welcome to Canterlot." He was up-tight, and very monotone., except for the end of his sentences. "Follow me." As he said that, he turned around, and walked away. Serpente galloped after him, and followed. They went into a winding corridor, with many doors that looked the same. They came to one door, which Two Pie opened and walked into. there was a stair well behind the door, which he had to light with his horn in order to see. She followed quickly behind, hoping to see something cool, and not boring. Canterlot, in her head, was just that. One big old plot of boring land, and poring ponies.    They arrived a trap door, in which Two Pie opened, with his magic, and walked up... a big circular room was there, that had gray walls, giant webs, and a pedestal in the middle. An orb lied in it. At the other side of the room, sat a Mare who's hair was an up-do and fur was pinkish purple. She looked around, and looked back to the broken window pane, then getting up, and walking out to the balcony. She wanted a good look at the sun-setting world, which was noon in Serpente's plot of land. Two Pie walked up to The mare at the window, and looked out from the balcony, back into the room. "Serpente. do you know what this room means to me?" He asked. He then walked to the orb, with a glowing horn.    "No, not at all."    "Then look into this." He touched his glowing horn to the Crystal clear orb, making a yellow light inside of it. She then walked up, and looked in, seeing the whole story. She really didn't feel any emotions while watching it. She just felt like she was watching any other movie back at home, with the Rug-Nut team. She looked up after watching the boring scenes of the main events in the adventure of Two Pie. She really didn't think that it was possible for somepony to say there name, and then become some all mighty royal canterlot king of the land. He really wasn't a king at all, but more or less just a man for everypony to look up To. Serpente then looked around the pitch black-walled room, with the broken glass pained balcony.    "So Two Pie- er. I mean King Two Pie. I-"    Two Pie, then broke his frustrated look, and fell over laughing. he looked up, and said "Its just Two Pie, my dear girl! my own great Granddaughter, doesn't have to call me king!" He kept laughing, as he got up. With the glow of his horn, in order to make Serpente not feel like she was being pressured to be like everypony else, Two Pie went back to a regular stallion-like form, with only wings. He was now scaly, while he had red fur earlier. He threw off his royal-looking coat, and summoned his older, more stylish looking coat with it's yellowing aspect. He still loved it, and wore it by his own time. "My dear Serpente, you may now just call me Two Pie. and a name for you, i shall give." He felt like poetry would sooth her, only with his smooth words, coming from his scaly mouth. He then looked to the pony on the floor. She in fact, was just a pony. the Up-do, with the boots, and the old-looking metal glasses. She got up, when she realized Serpente's eyes meeting hers. She then walked over, and pulled off her glasses. they were clear, but through the glass, she had purple eyes. She now, without the glasses, had red eyes. red pupils mainly. She then smiled, as at least thirty big spiders covering her body, forming a black dress. it was made of silk, after the spiders formed cloth together. She then said:    "Hello Serpente. I'm Amante. the wife of Two Pie." Her smile stopped there, as she was about to be the bearer of bad news. after the major attack, she gained the powers to see all of equestria. she just saw the mirror in the crystal empire power up. "Serpente. have you found your birth rights?" She tipped her head barely at all, still looking at her. her eyes glowed, and she started grinding her teeth. She looked over at Two Pie and nodded her head. Two Pie then lit his horn, healing the mare's headache. she then stopped grinding her teeth, and looked back. she was in pain, from the mirror she saw, being activated. She then walked away and sat back closing her eyes, forgetting her question. she was of course 4 billion and 50 years old after all. she needed to sit down.    "What does she mean my birth right? what the hell is going on Two Pie?" Serpente, was now confused and frustrated. She could be practicing with her team at the moment, but she was nearly 300 miles away. no way she could make it. "Seriously, what am I Two Pie?"    Two Pie, then frowned, with a twitching left eye brow. "Serpente. say your name."    "Serpente. now what the hell-"    "No. in English."    "What the heck do you mean! I seriously don't know how to convert my name from Drako to English you... you..." She saw his anger build up in his eye, as his horn started just faintly growing brighter.    "Just say it Dear." His sharp teeth now showing, he was growing madder and madder.    "Fine. Serpent- wait. Serpent? My name is SERPENT? What were my family thinking?! i have the cutiemark of a rug-nut ball, because i found my love for it, when i was young! But my name? Thats-"    "It's family tradition." Two Pie then turned into the king form again, threw on his kingly coat, and found himself, trying to form something, like a paper. or. or a map! He then finally pulled it together, and showed it to Serpente.     "Its just a map of the Rug Nut practice arena near my little house." (still a hut to me) "Why is the southern field goal circled, as target of interest?"     "No, its not the field goal, but its whats under the goal."     "The old owner that i bought the field from, did say that he left a few memories behind... but i don't think there is anything special, with this all."      "Well go see for yourself. My wife will keep watch over you're journey."      "What journey? What the hell are you talking about again? and just explain to me. My parents told me you married a foreign princess. Not the woman you defeated!"      "Its a long story. lets just say, that Two Drakos make a great family." Let me summarize what this is all trying to say to you, the reader. Two Pie, managed to bring back Amante's body and spirit, with the drako powers, just not the darkness. Serpente's field has a secret under it, and finally, Two Pie is also going to play another major role in this story. Etc, Etc. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________    Serpente walked out of the great canterlot hall, and left to find Philomena a her usual spot in canterlot. this would be a challenge. Serpente, didn't want to stay in equestria for the night at all, and rather wen't back home. The problem: Philomena is in Two Pie's bedroom. She was a tallented sneaker though. buts he wouldn't need to. she could just use night crawler powers, to teleport balcony to balcony to find his bedroom. First, she would need to leave to Princess Twilight Sparkle's library, in ponyville to find some book on the subject of the spells she knew.    Nowadays, they never used trains, but more or less, key points. devices of teleportation that everypony knew what they are. long distance travel mainly. They closed after 11 PM and it was 10:45. she'd better make it a quick stop.    Serpente walked up to a key point, and immediately found ponyville in her mind. Swimming, with every fact she knew about it, she teleported back, to the now booming city, without village houses, but huge sky scrapers, full of large apartments. The library, was left untouched. She closed her eyes and felt wind and water flush over her. she wasn't wet, nor cold. she almost woke up, in another location, inside a key point tube. she walked out, realizing it was now 11:53, she galloped in a B-line towards the library. not a far gallop, but it was at least 2 minutes to get to.    She walked up to the door, and was about to knock, when she realized, that Princess Twilight was still around, and currently sleeping. "damn it!" She whispered, then getting out two things she never wanted to use. she was about to lock pick the door to the house of princess Twilight Sparkle. She took a few seconds, but she got it quickly. She silently opened the door, and lit her horn. As her horn dimly illuminated the whole downstairs, the racket of a deep voice coming, the sound of an angry princess, and her angrier daughter came.    "Mom! I want my own dragon baby like you did!" yelled a spoiled sounding brat, almost as if she was a 13 year old.    "No Aurora! i've told you, you're getting one for your 86th birthday, and thats a fact!" Yelled a more youthful sounding, yet womanly and old voice. A voice, that would come from the wisest mare you'd ever meet.    "What does Spike have to say? huh mom?!" Yelled the more bratty, rude, and obnoxious pony, apparenlty of the name "Aurora" ("Can you believe that Aurora might've been my great great grandmother?" Said Serpente in her head.)    A deep and shallow sounding voice, that sounded of charring fire, and the deep voice of a pony, who'd just tested with magic grass, and enchanted weads.(Basically, spike was high... yes, i just fanned the flame of something i shouldn't have. Hey, the writers use him for comic relief, why can't I?) "Hey, com'on maaan, i don't wanna have children right now maaan! gotta keep my temple clean for now maaan! besides, i can do anything, i'm a mother fuckin dragon, bitch!" The sound of too many good books falling on the floor happened, with a gust of wind and the shattering of an upstairs window, spike flew off, somewhat still high, from his earlier dragon party at the volcano. Serpente then heard the slamming of two doors, and then the crying of the younger yet more selfish sounding brat.    Serpente chuckled lightly (Couldn't count as a giggle. she doesn't giggle) as she looked in the 'NC' section, for night crawler. She picked, and looked, and seached until "Got it!" she yelled, without a care in the world, forgetting about the princesses. She then hopped outside happily, when an ill-meet set of guards saw her walking out with a book of twilight sparkle's. a book, without a recipe to prove she bought it.    "Halt right there ma'am. may we see a recipe for that book of princess twilight sparkle's?"    This is where her heart stopped. She hadn't thought that far into the pan. What should she do, should she book it to the key-points before the ending time came, or shall she meet with the bars of justice? Two decisions, she would have to make to decide, if she was going to leave a good impression on equestria, maybe just ponyville, she would tell the truth of it all. maybe she could have just gotten a carriage ride back home? No. This is where she would bring her name to all of equestria. Her name meant serpent, and this is where she would embrace it. She looked at them, ready to make a B-line towards a key-point, when she meet eye to eye with the captain. He looked cautiously at her, like he was studying her, or reading her like a book. He then looked drunken, in love.    "My bidding shall be of your command" Apparently, her good looks were better than she knew.    "Um... how about letting me get to the key point? 'Cus that'd be great!" She chuckled a bit, as she said the last word, and they got out of her way. every guard, as if connected with the captain. She walked up to the guard, and was polite about it. She kissed his cheek, and then sprinted to the key point just in case if this was some April Fool's joke or what, but she didn't want to stay and find out.    She reached the portal, thought of canterlot, and with water and wind, she fell onto the ground, and saw the Canterlot Clock tower strike twelve, as she walked out. She looked around, and hid behind a key point that was out of order. it was a type 2, rectangular version, which was pained royal blue, with six black suqares on each side. It was basically a "Blue Police Phone Box" as the sign on it said. Serpente then whipped out the book, and got to reading. for 40 minutes straight, she focused on the book, and with the glow of her horn, she test it out. She looked at a balcony, steadily aiming her horn, and with a Whiz and a Pop She was on the railing. She fell back after gasping, and then got up, looking at the next one. She focused again, this time her toung hanging out, she popped from balcony to balcony, before reaching the royal balcony.    She pondered to the glass door, and looked through, and saw Philomena, sitting in a cage, sleeping. She also saw Two Pie sleeping on his bed. "Crap, how will i wake up Philomena, without waking up Mr.PowerDrivenKing?" she giggled at her own joke, being her somewhat happy feelings all the time; But now was serious, now she had to get back home. She then got out her favorite lock pick; The lock pick she wished to use in an emergency only, she just called it her special skeleton key, but it was just an unbreakable, yet after one use, had to recharge magica, lock pick. yes, it was enchanted to work the first time, yet it let off a spark of light after its one use. Being serpente's only lock pick at the moment though, she'd have to make a cover story for the flash and spark of the pick.    She then inserted the pick into the key hole along with a little hair pin she had in her hair. she'd have to throw away the pick anyways, but she like her hair long and flowing. Sometimes. Immediately getting the lock open, she nudged the door lightly before stopping in her tracks, closing her eyes, and cringing at the sound of what sounded like Two Pie getting up. She heard a rustling of the covers, a few grunts and such, and then nothing. She opened her eyes, and saw that he had just turned over, to his other side. he let out a joyous, yet silent breath, and put her hair clip back in her hair, to make it back to a pony tail, and then Silently walked over to Philomena. She woke up Philomena, and the phoenix cawed as loud as possible. she was now completely frozen, other than her neck. she slowly looked back, and saw Two Pie, getting up, and looking back at her. his left eye was still closed, and his right one was have open. Philomena still cawing, the king said "Intruder! prepare to taste justice!" His horn started glowing, and that was when one second, felt like Serpente's whole life. she looked back, regretting from running home and such, she watched her life flash before her eyes. She then got a little time to think. "Should i run? Or should i use my night crawler?" Too late. she had been blasted to dust and ash. Her life, was in vain.    His name was Thomas Walsh. He was 21, and he was a brony. He was going to CSU, every day, riding his bike, from the dorms, to Campos, and back. He'd been a brony for a year now. He was getting ready to go to school, when his friend knocked on his door, and didn't stop knocking. "Ee-yellow!" Thomas said, opening the door.    "Dude! guess what i just bought, and printed out!'    "let me guess... Porn again?" He smirked, at his very immature friend, who constantly pulled pranks on him.    "ew dude. i don't look at that anymore." He had to pull up his saggy pants.    "What then?" Thomas said.     "I got two plain tickets, and two tickets to Brony con!"     "What? How'd you do that? Brony-Con starts in five days or so!"    "I got friends..." His friend smirked, as he held a bat behind his back, looking at two nerdy, bronies, who were easily scarred into submission.    "O... K?" Said Thomas, wondering what the hell was going on. He walked out, and saw to nimble bodies running away, in what looked like really retro clothing. One tripped, and yelled "My wrist! i broke my wrist!" in a high, yet stuffy sounding voice.
