Chapters Twilight Sparkle and her friends were enjoying some time in the Ponyville sauna, just relaxing, especially Twilight.
"So darling, you've really been called out a lot lately dear, are you at least staying with us for a little longer this time?" Rarity asked running her hand through her hair while Twilight let out a sigh.
"Yes, no more visits to the princess and with Spike gone on business of his own then I have the house all to myself, unfortunately." She groaned stretching a little bit while thinking of what she will do the whole week till Spike gets back from his mission.
Unknown to her friends or even the princesses, the two had very recently started to date the other and right now Twilight could really use some company from her drake. They wanted to keep it a secret since they didn't know how their friends would react and decided to just act natural when with the others.
"Hey don't worry Twilight ah'm sure Spike will be home sooner than you think." Applejack said with a smile as the lavender mare nodded.
"I know, I just haven't seen him in a while and wanted to spend some time with him." She sighed before standing up.
"I'm gonna go ahead and take a shower and then head home, the trip really took it out of me." She stated as Rainbow got up to.
"I'll come with. I have to get home to feed Tank." She said while Twilight gave a small nod.
"Oh ok." She said with a little blush on her face, while on the inside she was groaning and cursing Dash right now.
"Oh come on Twi, its just us girls. No reason to be embarrassed." Dash said while Twilight rolled her eyes but kept the act up.
"O-ok." She stammered getting a chuckle from most of the girls when Pinkie shot up.
"I'm coming too, it could be fun having a bath with my friends." She squealed while Twilight started to look worried as they led her to the showers.
"Come on Twilight, I'll scrub your back!" Pinkie said pushing the mare.
"No I'm good Pinkie. I can do it on my own." She said stepping out of the pink mares hands.
"Oh come on Twi, it's just us. It's not like anythings going to happen." Rainbow stated as the mare walked backwards towards the showers.
"Yeah I know that and I trust you guys. I just don't feel comfortable with anyone touching me while I'm naked is all."She said as they shrugged and took their towels off and headed in with Twilight behind them, taking a stall near the door as she heard the other girls laughing making her sigh.
After closing the door and looking at the mirrors on the wall and stall door spotting the reason she didn't want her friends to come in with her.
A large deep scar ran from her right shoulder to her left hip but made her smile at it. It was a scar she was proud of after completing her training with master Yura.
Spike had a similar one that went from the middle of his chest to his left ribs, the training with Reaper Clan after she was kidnapped for 5 years with Spike had been brutal, but effective to say the least.
(Flashback)
"Nighty night Spike." A filly Twilight said snuggling up to the little baby dragon who wrapped his arms around him when they fell asleep.
When Twilight woke up she was in a strange room full of dragons staring at her and Spike who smiled at the other dragons.
"Filly, you will release the dragon child now or you will die." One stated making her eyes widen, but she held onto Spike who growled a little at them making them raise an eyebrow.
"He protects her sir, why is that?" A female dragon asked as a rather old dragon walked into the circle while the baby was growling at him while the old dragon looked at the frightened filly.
"Hm interesting. Tell me filly, what is your name?" He asked with a kind smile.
"T-Twilight Sparkle sir." She stammered and held Spike tighter while trying to calm him down.
"Shhhh, it's ok Spike I won't let them take you." She said as some narrowed their eyes while others raised an eyebrow at that, the old dragon smiled wider.
"Twilight Sparkle, that's a pretty name for a filly. Tell me, since you won't let us take young Spike, perhaps then you can stay and train with him?" He asked as the filly looked around at the other shocked dragons.
"Master surely you can't mean-”
"I do, this filly has the strength and potential to be a fierce warrior of our clan along with the young master here. If she had wanted it, he could have been a pet to her but she has nurtured him and has helped him grow to love her in some way, plus I think the two will motivate each other with the hard times." He stated as the wiser member nodded at the dragons words.
"So filly, would you like to help the young master achieve his destiny? As well as become a member of our clan and help him lead us to a golden age?" He asked as the filly looked down at Spike who was still eyeing the dragon.
"If it helps Spike then I'll do it." She smiled making many get shocked faces while the old dragon smiled widely.
"Then welcome young Sparkle to the Reaper clan." He stated

Twilight sighed letting the water run over her head and toned body washing the sweat and grime off of her while letting her senses fan out and could feel her friends make their way to her stall.
"If you two even think about opening this stall I will be extremely angry." She called out and smiled as they stopped while looking at each other.
"How does she do that?" She heard Pinkie whisper while Twilight turned off the water and wrapped towel around her after drying her tail and hair and came out of the stall smiling.
"Because I see everything and hear everything." She said to the two pranksters smiled sheepishly at her.
"See you girls later." She said wrapping the towel around her shoulders and headed for the changing room, letting the towel drop when she felt the two head back to their stalls when the door to the room opened her stiffen at the gasp she heard, she turned and sighed when she saw Octavia who was staring at her back.
"You know it's rude to stare Octavia." Twilight said making the mare snap out of her gaze while Twilight put on her panties and short shorts before turning around with her bra and t-shirt while crossing her arms over her D- cup breasts.
"S-sorry I just never seen a scar like that before. Um does it hurt?" She asked as Twilight smiled.
"No it doesn't, and no I won't tell you how I got it. If you don't mind I'd like to keep this between us, I don't want my friends asking questions or like for ponies to ask questions about it." She said as Octavia nodded as Twilight put the rest of her clothes on.
"Thanks for understanding Octavia, it's just a part of my life I want to keep secret, not even the princesses know about this." She said making the mare nod just as the door swung open forcing Twilight to twist her body out of the way making Octavia go wide eyed at the show of flexibility.
"Oh and I just HAD to get his number darling he was such a- oh Twilight darling are you leaving already?" Rarity asked as Twilight put on a smile.
"Yeah I'm gonna go see what I can do at the library, maybe just curl up with a nice story of Daring Do by the fire tonight." She said as a rainbow blur shot towards her making her sigh and take the hit. Twilight and a naked Rainbow Dash slid across the floor as the mare smiled.
"HEY! Speaking of Daring Do has any new books come in yet?" She asked while Twilight flashed out from under her.
"Dash I told you last week that there was not one coming in till March. So two more months ok?" She sighed as the naked mare grumbled and crossed her arms.
"Ugh it's taking to long!" She said while Twilight rolled her eyes and looked down at her wet clothes before drying them with a spell.
"I'll see you guys later." She smiled before looking at Octavia and waved with a small smirk.
A little while later Octavia was in the dressing room lost in thought not noticing the other girls staring at her.
"Um hey Octavia are you ok?" Fluttershy asked but got nothing.
"Octavia darling? Hello?" Rarity tried but the mare sat there staring at the floor with a wide eyed expression on her face.
"OCTAVIA!!"
"HUH WHAT!?" She jumped surprised as Applejack smiled.
"Girl yall were miles away just then, what's on your mind sugarcube?" She asked as Octavia looked back down.
"I promised I wouldn't say." She stated as the others looked at each other.
"You promised who sugarcube?" AJ asked sitting down beside the mare and putting a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"I don't think I should say." She whispered.
"Come on Octavia spill what's going on? Are you and Vinyl having a fight again?" Rainbow asked as Octavia sighed.
"Yes we were that's why I came here to relax but it's not about her." Octavia said finishing getting dressed and turned around to them.
"I really must be going, I'm going to talk with Vinyl a little bit." Octavia stated and hurried out of the room leaving 5 confused mares looking at each other.
Twilight sighed as she made it home and leaned against the door letting out a sigh before heading over to the one of the book shelves and pulling a book from her top shelf making it slide over showing weapons and other gadgets along with her uniform.
She pulled out a blue gym bag and headed over towards the local gym nodding at those who smiled at her when she saw Snowflake walk in making her sigh as she passed the doors and then signed in. She smiled when she saw the speed bag and the weapons rack.
"SPARKLE!!" She winced and turned back to see Snowflake walking up to her.
"Hey Snow how are you today?" She asked as he snorted.
"Fight me." He said as she groaned.
"Look Snow, every time we fought you lost and I know you won't like it if I let you win." She said looking back at the changing room.
"I have a feeling that I'll beat you this time." He stated with a smile as she grinned.
"Alright Snow but let me get changed first ok?" She asked as he nodded.
"Ok meet me at the ring." He said getting a nod and before long she came back out in some boxing shorts and tank top while her hooves and hands were wrapped all the while a crowd gathered around them.
"Ok Sparks no magic and no flight for me."He stated as she nodded before taking a stance with her right hand out and her left tucked by her side while she had her right hoof forward and her left back.
DING!
Snowflake shot at Twilight going in for a knockout punch right off the bat while Twilight moved around the punch like water hitting his pressure points in the arm as she went before hitting him in the ribs with a brutal palm strike knocking the breath out of him, moving in while he was trying to breath she crouched down coming up with a devastating fist to the solar plexus, forcing whatever air he had gained in his lungs out.
She shot towards him landed a hard spin kick to his face making him fall back and into the rope forcing her to step back and wait as he gained his breath and senses back.
Everyone watched as Twilight beat Snowflake to a pulp hitting him with brutal strikes and whatever hits he did land she flowed with the momentum while landing another devastating hit on him, before long the stallion was on the ground breathing hard with a swollen eye, busted and swollen lip and bruises already forming. But he was smiling at the mare who smiled back holding out her hand before hauling him up and putting his arm over her shoulder.
"You lasted longer this time Snow, I'm proud of you." She smiled making him beam at the compliment.
"Thanks Sparks, hey what are you doing later? I know this great place that has awesome food." He asked as she smiled.
"Snow you know I'm seeing someone." She said as he chuckled.
"Oh I know, I was just offering a victory lunch to you." He said as she nodded.
"Ok sounds fun. Meet you at around six tonight sound good?" She asked as he nodded while she led him over to a bench and headed off to get some ice while his friends came by and congratulated him, as jealous mares went to hound Twilight.
Twilight smiled to herself honestly proud of Snowflake for lasting a whole minute in the ring with her.
"Where the hell do you get off, beating that poor stallion out there like that?" Twilight turned to see Rose, Seafoam, Lily, and Daisy all glaring at her.
"Um what? Look girls I have other things I need to do than listen to you complain about Snowflake and me sparring. Look if you're mad because I beat him then you should tell the guy how you feel about it and ask him out or something, in the mean time the longer I stay in here the longer he's in pain. Now if you'll excuse me I have a friend to help." She stated and walked past them as they blushed a little before looking at each other and glared.
"Honestly." Twilight said to herself and smiled at Snowflake who looked up and grinned.
"You know it's not nice to leave a wounded friend behind Sparks." He teased as she rolled her eyes.
"Please if you would pick one of these mares that's hanging off you I bet you wouldn't have to wait long before I get back to you." She stated as he sighed.
"I swear I explained this to them a few times." He groaned as she put the ice on his eye.
"Well maybe you should make sure that they're listening the next time you explain." She suggested while she healed some of the bruises on him.
"Come on big guy lets get you cleaned up ok?" She said as he nodded and they went to the locker rooms where she helped him get his shirt off trying not to agitate his wounds.
"Ok bud it's all you from here, you got it?" She asked as he nodded.
"Yeah thanks Sparks." He said before heading into the shower while she headed to the speed bag across the gym.
Twilight made it home around 4:23 that afternoon and dropped her dirty clothes in her waste basket and grabbed her book she was reading on the mission last night waiting for her target, who was late and took forever to come to her. Hell she got to chapter 27 before he came out for a smoke break and then went to screw some whore by the dumpers when she finally got him.
Just as she started to relax she heard the door open and in walked Rainbow Dash looking at her with narrowed eyes.
"Dash can I help you? I'm really tired right now." She groaned letting the book lay on her face.
"Twilight where were you earlier today? We came by here to ask you something but you weren't here." She asked crossing her arms while Twilight groaned.
"I was at the gym today, why what did you guys want to ask me?" Twilight asked still laying on the couch when she felt Dash sit on her stomach making her grunt and take the book off her face.
"We wanted to know if you know anything about why Octavia was acting so weird before you left the showers." She said poking her making her giggle.
"Hehehehe, STOP, hehehehe!" She yelled making Dash smirk and continued to poke her sides and stomach while Twilight tried to fend her off.
"OK OK! Hehehehe!"
"Fess up what's going on?" Dash asked the still giggling mare.
"Well now that you mention it Octavia was a little spaced out when I saw her, and when I asked her what was wrong she just dodged the question." She said as Dash sighed.
"Yeah she didn't tell us either." Dash sighed before busting out laughing as Twilight attacked her tickling her stomach making her cry out with laughter.
"AAAAHHH! TWILIGHT! EHEHEHEHEHEHE! STOP NO!" She cried as Twilight laughed and continued her assault.
"OK OK UNCLE UNCLE!!" She yelled finding it hard to breath.
"HAHA! THE BOOKWORM BEATS THE SPEEDER!!" Twilight yelled victoriously while straddling the pegasus who was still laughing.
"Good one Twi, I guess going to the gym is really helping out huh?" She said looking at Twilights body blushing a little bit.
"Yeah it really has, I won't ever get as strong as you or AJ but I at least want to look my best, who knows when that special somepony comes along." She stated getting a nod from Rainbow.
"So Dash where are you headed to now?" She asked as the pegasus snapped back to reality all the while a more noticeable blush was on her face.
"Oh um well I guess I'll be heading over to Pinkies place after this." She said getting a nod from Twilight.
"Oh yeah your's and Pinkies anniversary is soon isn't it? Wow I can't believe it's been a year already." Twilight stated as Rainbow smiled.
"Yep a whole year and it's been really great. When are you gonna get you a special somepony Twi?" She asked just as a knock came to the door and was flung open as Pinkie came bouncing in but stopped when she saw the two on the couch.
"Hey Babe/Pinkie." The two said at once making the mare smile.
"Hi guys what are you doing?" She asked as Twilight poked Rainbow again making her giggle.
"Dash came over to see if I knew anything on why Octavia was acting weird and decided to tickle me to get it out of me, but she didn't think I'd get her back." Twilight said still poking the giggling mare who was weakly fending her off.
"Hehehe, Twi stop it!" She laughed while Pinkie joined in.
"Dashie I told you to wait till tomorrow before we asked Twilight, now I'm gonna have to think of a punishment for you when we get home." She said with a sly smile making Dash blush.
"Well now that you have your mare Pinkie what can I help you with?" Twilight asked.
"Oh nothing I was just gonna ask if you've seen Dashie." She stated when another knock came to the door making them all turn to see Snowflake smiling at them.
"Sparks? Am I interrupting something?" He asked making Twilight roll her eyes.
"Yeah right, Snow in your dreams. Come on lets go eat I'm starving." She said wincing a little at his eye and lip.
"See you later girls." She called back to her stunned friends as she hooked her arm with the large stallions heading out for dinner while her friends looked at each other stunned.
"Did Twilight just score with the hottest guy in ponyville besides AJ's brother?" Dash asked as Pinkie squealed.
"OOOOOHHHHH I'M SO HAPPY FOR HER!!" She yelled.
Twilight groaned walking with Snowflake hearing her friends yell making Snowflake laugh before wincing and hold his rib.
"Got to say Sparks you got a mean hit, I would sure not want to be your man if he ever made you angry." Snowflake said as she smiled and nudged his shoulder.
"Oh hush you. Besides he rarely ever gets on my nerves, but when he does we fight of course but nothing knock down drag out." Twilight said as the large stallion opened the door for her making her smile.
"And ponies say chivalry is dead." She stated making him smile and blush a little bit as they took a booth in the back before ordering their drinks.
"So Snow why haven't you asked any of those mares out yet?" Twi asked as he sighed.
"I don't know Sparks I mean, the mares that come to the gym like me for physical things but not me for me you know? I just want someone that's not intimidated by my size and doesn't want me just for physical looks." He groaned letting his forehead hit the table and groaned while Twilight giggled.
"Oh come on Snow there is a mare out there somewhere for you, who knows she might not even be in Ponyville." She said making him look up at her and smile.
"You know I didn't think about that. Maybe I should take a vacation somewhere like the Crystal Empire or something." He stated smiling while Twilight grinned.
"See there you go! Oh why don't you broaden your search, try Neighpon or Germaney I hear the girls there are nice and are very friendly." She said winking making him blush just as the food arrived.
"I'll think about it Sparks and thanks for the intel." He stated with a smile.
"Hey anytime big guy, you're my friend and I want to see you happy." She said before they fell into silence only swapping idle gossip and chit chat while eating before heading home.
"So Snow how soon are you gonna maybe take this trip of yours?" Twilight asked getting a smile from him.
"I would say around next week or so, plenty of time for me to kick your butt in a spar or two." He boasted making her laugh.
"You're too much big guy." She said as they came up to her house.
"Thanks for the meal Snow, it was really nice of you." She said pulling the large stallion into a hug.
"Hey and good luck out there big guy I hope you find her." She said in his ear getting a nod from him.
"Thanks Sparks, see you later." He said heading home while Twilight headed inside to a dark house making her groan heading up to bed.
(Next day)
Twilight groaned when she heard tapping on her window making her look up to see a black hawk with a letter on its leg making her bolt out of bed and open the window letting the bird in.
"Sorry bout that, what do you have for me?" She asked as the bird put the scroll on the ground and waited for her to read it.
When she opened it, it was written in draconic making her smile looking of what Spike sent her.
(Hey Twilight, it's Spike. Listen I need you to meet with me for a dual mission tonight. Head to Dream Valley and I'll brief you there, love Spike.)
She smiled and gave a happy squeal and wrote a reply to him and put it on the hawk as it flew away.
"Oh man I can't wait to see him, it's been weeks since I last saw him." She said to herself heading downstairs to see her friends in the living room and kitchen before glancing up at the clock to see it was 9 am, she looked back at her friends who by then were blushing a little bit at her nighty.
A thong and no bra.
"Ok why is everyone in my house?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest.
"Oh um darling we were just coming by to congratulate you on your first date!" Rarity squealed while Twilight sighed and dropped her arms making Pinkie, Dash, and Fluttershy blush hard.
"Ugh guys I didn't go on a date I just went to dinner with a good friend of mine. Snowflake and me have been buddies since the second week I was here, besides Snow.... Well me and Snow are just friends. I mean when we went to dinner I was telling him places he could go to see mares." She said as they sighed.
"Twilight you really need to get you a stallion or a mare." Dash said while Twilight rolled her eyes.
"Please girls really I'm fine I don't need a stallion or mare in my life like that, I'm happy how I am right now." She said as they sighed.
"Honestly dear why don't you give it a try." Rarity urged as Twilight sighed.
"Look guys really I'm ok but right now I need to get dressed and get ready for tonight. I just got a letter from the princess earlier, now shoo shoo girls." She smiled while they gave her a worried look.
"Well if you need us you know where to find us." Pinkie stated as they left while Applejack stayed till they left.
"What's up AJ, got something on your mind?" Twi asked as AJ smiled at her.
" Well sugarcube ah want know why you ain't tryin to find you a stallion and the real reason behind it is." She said while Twilight put her bra on and t-shirt.
"Well AJ it's because I don't want to find a stallion and it's personal I don't want to tell you till I think your ready." She said stretching as Applejack sighed.
"Sugarcube what makes you think we ain't ready?" She asked as Twilight groaned.
"Look AJ the reason I'm not looking for a stallion is cause I'm not interested in one or a mare for that matter." She said looking at the shocked face of Applejack.
"So you ain't interested in mares or stallions at all? So what's your thing griffons, Diamond Dogs, Changelings... Dragons?" She asked while Twilight blushed.
"Um maybe?" She said while AJ went wide eyed.
"So which is it?" She asked while Twilight wrung her hands.
"Um well its not Changelings that's for sure." She said blushing harder as she started to think of Spike shirtless while AJ sighed at that but smiled at how red she was.
"You know come to think of if ah wouldn't mind me a griffon, ah heard they're really good in the sack." She said watching Twilights face who was still blushing hard.
"But ah heard they're kind of violent lovers to and could hurt somepony, but ah could see a Diamond Dog on the farm. Could come in real handy helpin around the farm and givin a little scrub I'm sure that he could be a good lover." She stated while watching Twilight turn a little green at that making her go wide eyed.
"YOU LIKE DRAGONS!!!" AJ yelled while Twilight looked at her shocked.
"N-no I don't! I LIKE GRIFFONS IF YOU MUST KNOW!!" She said before clamping her mouth shut while AJ grinned.
"Got you sugarcube, so when can we meet him?" She asked as Twilight narrowed her eyes.
"Your not, since I don't have a griffon of my own right now. So if you will EXCUSE ME, I have to get ready for the day and tonight!" She said pushing the snickering mare out of the library and slammed the door on the giggling mare before she sighed.
" So griffons are your thing my student?" Twilight froze and slowly turned to see Princess Celestia in all her glory sitting on the couch while Twilight's face started to turn red as Celestia giggled.
" Do not tease sister, griffons are excellent lovers though rough in the bedroom, they are very protective of their mate and young and will go to the ends of the earth to make their mate happy." Twilight turned to see Luna coming out of the kitchen with tea in her magic while she handed one over to Twilight and then her sister.
" I do apologize Twilight, we just haven't heard from you in a while and wanted to stop by to see how you were doing." Celestia stated getting up and pulling her student into a hug.
"How have you been dear." She as Twilight sighed and hugged back.
"I've been better princess." She said squeezing tighter with a small smile on her face.
Hurry up sister I wish to hug to." Luna said making Celestia laugh while Twilight brought Luna into a tight hug.
"Oh we have missed you friend." Luna stated.
"I miss you guys to." She said
"Oh isn't this touching." Twilight and the others groaned as Discord made his appearance.
"What no hug for me, fine I didn't want one anyway." He pouted as Twilight smiled pulling him into a hug surprising everyone.
"Discord, as long as Fluttershy is happy then I will never hate you." She said as he smiled.
"You my dear are a very good friend." He said and snapped his finger making them look at him for a second.
"What kindness needs to be rewarded with kindness yes? So everypony that knew of Twilights secret has forgotten it." He said making them smile.
"Thanks Discord." She said as he smiled.
"Now I must be on my way to my dear Fluttershy." He and poofed away leaving behind a rock.
"Well Twilight I know it was a short visit but it was good to see you again dear." Celestia stated giving the mare another hug along with Luna before they flashed away.
"Finally they're all gone." She said and flashed away herself deep in the Everfree Forest to do some training.
(Sunset)
Twilight sighed as she looked around the area letting out some pent up stress had been very good for her. At the moment she was by at small lake with a waterfall making her smile as she headed to that direction and get cleaned up before meeting her dragon.
As she bathed she smiled sensing his presence nearby and decided to put on a show as she moved her body seductively smiling the whole time before she looked right where he was at and winked.
"Are you just going to stand there and gawk Spike or are you going to come join me?" She asked as he stepped into the light of making her lick her lips looking at the ripped body of her soon to be head of the Reaper Clan dragons.
"You know Twilight if someone saw you they might get the wrong impression." He stated as they made their way to each other.
"Oh maybe I wouldn't mind if it left a good one on a certain dragon I know?" She smirked before coming within inches of each other.
"I missed you so much Spike." She said as he smiled.
"I missed you to Twilight. I'm sorry." He stated getting a confused look from her before a look of shock and pain came on her face as he drove his blade into her stomach making her look down at the blade then back up to him confusion, betrayal, and hurt going through her eyes.
"Why?" She asked as he pulled his blade from her.
"Twilight you should know that the Reaper clan is a DRAGON CLAN, and I cannot mix the bloodlines. I'm so sorry Twilight." He said as she tried to stop the bleeding.
"I do love you Twilight but the clan comes first before personal feelings and my mission was to kill you before I could take the seat as clan head." He stated as she started to pant.
"You're going to pay for this Spike, mark my words. You will pay." She stated sinking down to her knees as he bent down and lifted her head seeing tear streaks running down her face.
"I really am sorry Twilight, I wish there was another way." He said as she started to pant harder the poison from the blade doing it's job.
"There is always another way Spike." She said looking up past the dragon and into the sinking sunlight.
"Goodbye Twilight, I wish I could have found the other way." He said stepping into the shadows of the forest and disappearing.
"I'll get you for this Spike." She stated moving over to her bag stumbling as she went before falling a few feet away from the bag as pain erupted in her head and she started to crawl to it before finding her phone and dialing the number, as her vision started to fade.
[Hey Sparks what's up?]
"Please, help, Snow. Dragon Black Rose. Everfree."
[Twilight where are you!? What's going on?]
"Snow, help.......mmmmeeeeee"
[ I'M COMING SPARKS JUST HOLD ON!!]
That was the last thing that Twilight heard as the darkness took her.
Darkness was all that Twilight could see, she felt weak and vulnerable. Her arms felt heavy like her whole body when everything came back to her in a rush, the clearing the waterfall, Spike. Spike had betrayed her and she was going to have revenge.
"Twilight?" She recognized the voice, it was Snowflake she could feel him holding her hand as he sighed.
"Of course you're not awake, three months and still nothing. But that's fine Sparks once you wake up we're gonna find the bastard that did this to you and make him pay." She could hear and feel the anger in his voice making her smile a little and weakly rub her thumb over his hand making him gasp.
"Sparks?!" She just smiled wider.
"DOCTOR! DOCTOR!! SHE'S AWAKE!!!" She heard him yell but his hand never left hers.
"Hey Sparks it's ok the doctor is coming ok stay with me just keep that pretty smile up Sparks." He said holding her hand tighter as she heard the sound of rushing hooves.
"I'm right here Sparks I'm not going anywhere." He continued to talk as they unwrapped her head making her wince at the sudden light.
"Contact the princesses let them know she's awake and her friends and family to! Ms. Sparkle can you hear me?" She blinked at the blur and weakly held up her arm to shield her eyes from the sun.
"I do apologize ma'am but your eyes need to adjust to the light. Grab my hand when you're ready to begin." He said as her eyes focused on the doctor before they found Snowflake who had tears streaming down his face with a smile as he waved at her.
She reached out to him and he was instantly by her side moving doctors out of the way as he grabbed her hand.
"You came for me." She stated her voice harsh from disuse as he choked on a sob.
"Of course I did Sparks, I'll always be here for you." He stated making her smile before coughing.
"Here Sparks drink this slowly." He ordered as she took little sips while the doctors stepped back and let them have their moment.
"Sparks what were you doing out there that night?" He asked as she looked down.
"I. I was meeting my lover before a mission we were going to have together but he betrayed me Snow for the clan." She stated as tears started to fall.
"He betrayed me after everything we went through together, years of struggling and secrets. Pain and failure, I hate him so much Snow and I WILL have my revenge." She growled her hair starting to become fire itself before it suddenly went out as she slumped back into the bed.
"Who was it Sparks? Who was your ex and who is this clan?" He asked as she sighed.
"I guess there is no reason to hide it anymore. It was Spike and the Reaper clan that betrayed me, Spike was my lover in secret." She stated looking at his shocked face.
"I'm sorry I had to keep this a secret even from my friends and family, even the princesses don't know Snow." She said holding his hand to her chest.
"Please believe me that I never liked or wanted to keep it from you guys, so many times I've wanted to tell you but I couldn't under the honor code. I'm so sorry Snow." She whimpered and felt him pull her head up to see him smiling at her but with a serious look in his eyes.
"I forgive you Twilight, but no more secrets ok?" He asked as she quickly nodded and hugged him as tight as she could in her current condition while he gave a gentle squeeze.
"I'm so sorry Snow." She kept repeating just as the princess and her friends showed up.
"TWILIGHT!"
After another round of hugs and happy words and then anger and disappointment when she explained the clan to them and her past operations followed by forgiveness and acceptance.
Shining smiled watching his sister be forgiven by her friends while he looked at the lone stallion by her bed who couldn't take his eyes off her while Twilight kept looking back at him and smiling.
"Ok everypony lets go we need to do some tests on her make sure everything is working right." The doctor stated as he and some nurses filed everyone out of the room before running some tests on Twilight.
(Three weeks later)
As Twilight got stronger so did her's and Snowflakes relationship. They laughed and had fun like anyone else but there was something more to the two, they seemed closer and more friendly but the day that Twilight got out of the hospital and was able to train again they had been doing in non stop.
Right now the two friends were in the forest training hard as another explosion rocked the area.
"RAAAAHHHHHH!!!! CRACK!!"
Rainbow winced as she saw Snowflake rocket through the forest before landing a blow on Twilight making her shoot through trees before she flashed away appearing above Snow with magic glowing around her fist and driving him into the ground in a epic explosion.
"Rainbow!! Go get Nurse Tenderheart!" Twilight yelled up at her.
"GOT IT!" She yelled shooting off to town.
On the ground Twilight had Snowflakes head in her lap and wiped the blood from his face and moved the hair out of his eyes.
"Why are you fighting so much to help me?" She asked running her fingers through his hair though she had a small smile on her face as he started to come to and looked up at her.
"Hey." He said making her smile.
"Hey big guy, you know you were suppose to dodge that right?" She said making him chuckle.
"Maybe you're a little too quick for me." He said making her giggle.
"We have to get your speed up Snow or the dragons are gonna cream you." She smiled as he sighed.
"Yeah I know, hey what are you doing after training?" He asked as she shrugged.
"Don't know was gonna hit the showers and then just stay home why what are you thinking?" She asked making him smile.
"How bout I treat you to dinner for kicking my ass yet again, what do you say?" He asked as she stopped for a second before smiling.
"Sure call it a date." She said getting a smile from him.
"Sorry Sparks no can do, I got a mare now I finally took your advice while you were out and asked Blossom Forth out." He said as she sighed.
"Oh, well congrats Snow I'm happy for you. Friend date then?" She asked as he gave a sad smile and nodded just as Tenderheart came and started to fuss over him before he was led away. Twilight looked after him for a second before her fist clenched but sighed and looked down.
"Can't really get angry since I did tell him to find him a mare." She said to herself before heading back into the forest as Dash floated beside her.
"Hey Twi where are you going?" She asked.
"To train, I need to get my strength back so I can take Spike down and the clan." She said when Dash flew into her view with crossed arms.
"No, you've been training non-stop ever since you got out of the hospital!" Dash said.
"Dash I've been trained to fight non stop for days on end even after I pass out. I just need some time alone is all." She said but the pegasus wouldn't move.
"Dash. Move." Twilight growled.
"No, we're worried about you Twilight. You're gonna have to make me move." She said grinning missing the smirk from Twilight.
"Fine."
"Wait wha-HURK!" Twilight caught the KO'd Dash and threw her on her shoulder before flashing away to the river she was betrayed by Spike.
After a while Dash woke up and looked around to find her friend floating in the water in a bikini and sunglasses along with a sucker in her mouth.
"Hey Dash! Come on in the waters fine, I got a extra bikini in the bag." Twilight called out making her smile and went to change.
She came back with a red bikini and cannonballed into the water soaking the relaxing Twilight.
"HA serves you right for knocking me out!" Dash yelled as Twilight sighed and layed back on her back floating across the water surface.
" So whats the plan?" She asked floating next to the mare.
"Well you're looking at it." Twilight said putting her hand behind her head and let out a sigh.
"This is boring." Dash stated while Twilight sighed.
"Then go home Dash I told you I wanted to train but you had to be difficult." She said getting a hmph from Dash.
"I just didn't want you to over work yourself is all Twi, we're all worried about you and I don't like being the messenger to the nurse when you and Snowflake duke it out. I don't like to see you get hurt either." She said floating above the mare.
"And it don't look like your training to me." She said as the mare sighed and stood up on the water making her fall into the water.
"Whoa! How are you doing that?!" She yelled making Twilight smile as she skated across the water.
"Years of practise, can't actually skate with skates on but I'm pretty go like this. Not as good as Pinkie but pretty good." Twilight smiled at the gawking pegasus.
"Hey Twilight after you're done here what are you gonna be doing?" She asked as Twilight smiled.
"Go home and I guess sleep, why what are you thinking?" She asked.
"Why don't you come over and have some fun with me, Pinkie and AJ? We're just gonna be telling stories and hanging out, pleeeaaasssseee?" She asked as Twilight sighed before nodding.
"Why not I could do with some relaxing." She said before plunging into the water.
(A few hours after an awkward lunch with Snowflake)
Twilight was walking down the cobbled road from AJ's house stumbling from the hard cider and party that Pinkie threw early for her's and Dash's anniversary.
Snow had been there but they left early while AJ had to turn in early as well for work in the morning, there were a couple of stallions that tried to hit on her and even some mares but she just wasn't interested.
Twilight fell to her knees just outside the farm her head swimming when she heard hoofsteps coming her way.
"Hello? I need some help." She slurred as a figure came into view along with three others who started to laugh.
"Oh I bet you do babe." One said.
"Please, I need to get home I don't know what's going on." She mumbled her vision going black.
"Don't worry babe we'll help you." Another snickered when she heard the sound of a hard strike and crunching of bone along with screaming before all went silent. The last thing she saw was a dark figure step into her view and pick her up.
(Are you ok ma’am where are your friends?) The stallion asked as she giggled.
"You talk funny, can you take me home? I live at the library." She said as he looked at her confused.
(Library? Ok.) He said and took off into the town looking for the library.
(That morning)
Twilight woke up with a splitting headache when she heard yelling from downstairs making her grab her shirt and stumble downstairs to see her friends yelling at a black unicorn stallion in a defensive stance and while Dash, Pinkie, Rarity, and AJ yelled at him while Fluttershy was trying to calm them down when he spotted her.
(Hello. How are you feeling.) He asked in Neighpanese making her smile a little bit.
"My head is killing me, were you the one that brought me home last night?" She asked as he nodded.
(Yes, some stallions were going to take you to their home with them. You looked like you needed a doctor not a roll in the bed. Miss?) He replied making her smile.
"Oh um sorry I'm Twilight Sparkle." She said as his eyes went wide before they narrowed in anger.
"YOU!" He shouted taking out his sword making her go wide eyed.
"You will die this day Lady Death." He shouted as he exploded with power knocking them off their hooves while Twilight flipped in the air and stuck on the wall while as he flashed away appearing behind her swinging to take her head off.
CLANG!!!
"Hm so the rumors are true, you're a master at our art." He stated before round house kicking her into the hardwood floor and cast a spell stopping her friends from helping her.
"Stay out of this." He warned and jumped away as kunai flew at him.
"You made a mistake attacking me in my own home." She growled but was hit by a devastating blow imbedding her into the wall making her cough up blood.
"If this is the legendary Lady Death I am not impressed." He growled as she pulled herself out of the wall and jumped away as kuni stabbed into the wall where she was.
"I was betrayed by the Reaper Clan! I was used and was nearly killed by someone I trusted with my life!" She screamed making him pause with his sword at her throat.
"You lie." He says as she growled.
"I was a member of the Reaper Clan for what reason do I have to lie? To save my own life? Please you of all ponies should know how we operate, you think I would throw my honor away just to save my own skin? Then you don't know your enemy and it will be your ruin." She stated glaring at the stallion who glared back at her for a minute when he pulled his sword away making her sigh when she on hit hard in the face by him.
"TWILIGHT!!"
"That was for my friends you killed." He growled before releasing her friends.
"So tell me ronin, what are your plans now?" He asked while sitting down on her couch while she rubbed her jaw as her friends glared at him and helped her up.
"Revenge." She growled as he nodded.
"Then we are allies then. We can set up here to plan our next move. So what is your next move Lady Death?" He asked as she sat across from him with a calm look on her face that could rival her teachers.
"NOW YOU WAIT JUST A SECOND BUB! YOU ARE NOT STAYING IN HERE WITH TWILIGHT AFTER WHAT YOU JUST DID!" Dash yelled as the two stared each other down.
"He will be staying here with me, after all he did keep me from getting raped last night, and I honor a debt." She said while he smiled.
"So it's true you are kind at heart as well." He stated as his horn flashed and a duffle bag appeared in the room landing with a thud.
"So what is your plan?" He asked as she sighed.
"I have to get my strength back, so I will be training till I think I'm ready to take on Spike." She said making him grunt.
"So he was the one that betrayed you? Why do you need train if all he-" He was stopped when he saw her lift her stomach showing the black scar where she was stabbed with the dragon poison making his jaw drop and move over to her.
"He stabbed you with that and you still live? You really are Lady Death." He said letting his fingers gently slide across it making her wince while he pulled his hand back.
"You Lady Death are amazing." He said as the mare sighed before smiling at him.
"Thank you, if you would like you can train with me. I could show you the Dragon style along with the Burning Fist." She offered as he nodded.
"Very well I accept your offer Lady Death." He stated getting a nod from her while the others gawked at them.
"Twilight you can’t be serious!" Dash said.
"I am, this stallion is part of the Lu Bin Clan out of Neighpon. Theirs and my ex clan have been at war with each other for years, I was just the piece they needed to tip the scales enough for them to win." She stated as the stallion growled.
"Your clan wiped out mine to nearly the very last stallion, mare, and foal." He snarled making them all turn to Twilight.
"What? It's true what he said, when I was with them we were ruthless and still are. I've killed because that is what I was trained to do and was ordered to do, who's to say if I was part of his clan then they wouldn't have done the same?" She stated as he narrowed his eyes.
"My clan was never monsters like yours." He stated as she turned back to him.
"Don't lie, your clan was every bit as if not more ruthless as mine. I've seen what you do to your prisoners after you get the information you need out of them, it's why the order was given that if you were going to be captured then you were to commit seppuku." She said in a dead tone making him look down.
"I saw the bodies your clan skinned and strung up like a prize taunting us of what you did to one of our own." She growled remembering friends she lost herself from the war.
"So don't sit there and act like the victim when you were just as bad. You lost the war and were played a bad hand in the war, if its any condolence I was never a part of the raid on your compound." She said making him look up at her and sighed.
"You are right Lady Death and I apologize, I won't bring anymore dishonor to our fallen comrades." He stated as she nodded.
"Good. Now before we go any further what is your name?" She asked
"I was to be clan head before the clan was destroyed, also my fellow clan members that are in hiding are still in danger and I need to get them to safety. Please if you would Lady Death help us, prove to me that you are not with them anymore." He said as she nodded and got up pulling the secret book opening the hidden armory.
"Fine we leave tonight." She stated getting a nod from him as he got his armor out and sword so he could begin to sharpen and check his equipment while she pulled out her gear checking it over and sharpen what needed to be.
"Oh and my name is Darkfire." He stated getting a nod from her as she looked at her shocked friends.
"That will be all, I have to prepare for a mission I'll let the princess know before I head out." She stated and led them outside before turning to Darkfire who was looking down in thought.
"What is on your mind Darkfire?" She asked as he sighed.
"If you are really going after Spike of the Reaper Clan then we will need to train long and hard. I will be sharing clan secrets with you that only a member of the head of the family knows." He stated looking up at her as she nodded.
"Good then we are fair since I will be doing the same with you." She stated getting a nod from him.
"Lets get some sleep Lady Death." He stated as she nodded.
(Later that night)
Darkfire and Twilight landed on a tree branch just outside the where some of the refugees were surrounded by Reaper death teams who were trying to burn them people alive.
"I'll clear the way you get your people out of there and back to Ponyville." Twilight said and flashed away before he could say anything watching in awe and horror as she systematically cut down the enemy ninja.
Twilight cut down each ninja one after the other taking off their heads or cutting them in half as anger started to take her making her glow white with red eyes leaving a flash of fire after each kill while the survivors watched each dragon be cut down with brutal effect.
"DIIIIIIIEEEEE!!!!" Twilight screamed as she plunged her sword into a dragons face getting blood all over her making the remaining dragons falter and start to retreat watching the fire demon slaughter them.
"NO RETREAT!!" She screamed cutting their forces off and killed any who tried to get away leaving a path of death and fire in her wake.
"YOU’RE ALL GOING TO DIE HERE!!" She screamed as her power doubled blowing them off their feet as some begged for mercy but got none as their heads left their body when a large dragon stepped forward with a cocky smirk.
"You took on the weak little demon now come face a real warrior!" He yelled swinging his large sword at her as she charged him bringing her own sword to meet his only pausing for a second when they clashed before her sword cut straight through his and continued her charge while he tried to escape.
"NO NO NO! MERCY!!!"
"YOU WILL HAVE NONE FROM ME!!!" She screamed just as she cut his head in half horizontally while he screamed.
She turned to see the rest of the dragons running making her growl and flash away, the only thing the survivors heard were screams from the dragons before the mare returned back to normal but drenched in blood while her sword dripped with the fresh blood. She walked towards the survivors as they started to panic until Darkfire stepped in front of her.
"Lady Death?" He asked as she stopped and looked at him making him shiver at the sight of her dripping in blood and a small smile on her face while the glow from the fire gave her the look of a real demon.
"Move your people out Darkfire, lets go home and set up some space for the children." She droned as he nodded stepping back while she pasted before flashing away.
(1 month later)
Darkfire woke up to the sound of laughter and some baby crying along with lots of talking. He looked around and saw the ponies they recused making him smile when he saw Twilight the Lady of Death smiling and playing with a foal while its mother folded laundry with a smile on her face.
He made his way down the stairs getting bows from other members of the clan making him smile. He came up behind Twilight as she tickled the little foal making the baby squeal with laughter as he smiled, maybe there was more to this mare than met the eye.
"Good-BAM- CRASH!!!" Darkfire looked back at where he was launched and could see Twilight holding the child protectively while he glared at him.
"Darkfire let that be a lesson to you not to sneak up on a mare, especially with a foal in her arms." She then smirked ask the baby giggled and squealed while he pulled himself out of the hole in the wall and stumbled over to them.
"I'll be sure to remember that Lady De-HURK!" He gasped for air while the mare smiled at the foals mother who rolled her eyes at the two while the baby giggled and bounced on Twilights lap.
"When around the people I am just Twilight, you understand Darkfire?" She asked while he started to turn blue from her hand around his throat making him nod quickly before she let go making him gasp for air.
"I don't need for these people to think I'm going to kill them in the night Darkfire so keep your mouth shut." She said as he glared.
" Don't think you can order me around Lady Death." He hissed back making her growl before getting up and handing the baby back to the mother and walking away.
"HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING!?" He yelled as she looked back at him and glared.
"Out. Take care of your people." She stated and walked out of the door before slamming it shut making many of the stallions wince while the mares giggled.
"Good luck with that one Lord Dark, she has a lot of fire to her." A stallion stated patting his shoulder.
"That mare and I are NOT seeing each other! She's too much of drama queen to be my type and not to mention what she’s done in the past." He stated while looking at the stallions were starting to turn white and looking behind him making his pupils shrink.
"Drama Queen huh? I offer you and your people my home and this is how you repay me? Drama Queen really?" He heard and could feel the heat coming from the mare as he turned around to see a VERY pissed off Twilight Sparkle with narrowed red eyes making him gulp before he glared back at her.
"Yeah well if it wasn't for you we wouldn't need your help or home!" He yelled making her power start to climb.
"Stop talking Darkfire. Now." She stated looking at the curious people around them while he growled.
"DON'T ORDER ME AROUND CLAN KILLER!!" He yelled making her go wide eyed as the people started to whisper.
"Shut the hell up Dark!" She hissed as he smirked.
"Or what LADY DEATH?!" He yelled as the people gasped before starting to glare at Twilight some even yelling chanting for her death.
"Get out." She said looking down making his smirk drop and the people go wide eyed.
"Wh, what?" He stammered.
"Get. Out." She repeated while the people started to panic, where would they go and what about the hunters still after them?
"GET OUT!!!!!" She screamed blowing Darkfire off his hooves and landing on the floor hard, he looked up to see her red eyes glaring at him and tears flowing down her face.
"Twilight?" The burning mare looked down to see a little filly tugging on her jeans.
"Can't we stay, I like staying here with you." She stated making all anger at Darkfire vanish as she knelt down and ran her finger through the fillies hair.
"I don't know sweetie it's up to your family and everyone else's along with Darkfire if you can stay. But I don't think will since they know who I am now cause of mister big mouth over there." She said pointing at Darkfire.
"But I think it's time to let you guys find a different home here in Ponyville or somewhere in Equestria and start your clan over." She stated as the filly hugged her catching her off guard.
" I don't want to go Twilight." She said making the mare smile and hug her back.
"I know sweetie." Twilight stated before more children started to come forward saying they didn't want to leave.
"Enough. With who I am, nothing can be back the way it was and I think you would be happier somewhere else than with your clans killer living upstairs." She stated as the children looked down and nodded while the adults started to pack up their tents and head out before too long it was just Twilight and Darkfire.
"If you need me send me a letter Darkfire, I wish you luck with your clan." She said opening the door for the last of the people while the stallion spit at her while she took it.
"Now leave Darkfire." Twilight stated as he looked out at the 34 families waiting for him, 82 ponies in all waiting for him to lead them.
"Darkfire I won't tell you again." She said snapping him out of his small panic attack and walked past her with his head hung low.
"For what its worth Twilight, I am sorry." He said as she snorted.
"I've been told that before once." She said making him wince realizing he had just betrayed her as well.
"If I find anymore of your people I will send them to you." She stated getting a nod from him and out the door he went to take his role as leader of the clan and help rebuild it.
(Hours later)
Twilight sat in the window of her tree looking out where the clan left when she heard the door open and hoofsteps coming upstairs. She pulled out a kunai just in case as she saw Applejack poke her head in and smiled at her.
"Hey sugarcube. Ah saw that the Neighponese folks left, any reason why?" She asked as Twilight sighed.
" Because they found out I helped in destroying their clan and things got out of hand so I made them leave, kids didn't like it but it's not up to them. Besides I think they will be happier living away from here or wherever they go." She said looking out at road hiding the sorrow on her face till she was pulled to look at a smiling Applejack.
"It's gonna be ok sugarcube." She simply stated while Twilight tried to keep the tears in and Applejack made it harder as she was pulled into a hug making the first sob escape and then the dam while she cried all her pent up sorrow and pain from years of keeping it in.
Applejack smiled down at Twilight who had fallen asleep on her chest, tears soaking her shirt but she didn't care and just ran her fingers through the mares hair the occasional hard sniff coming out. Applejack just continued to console her friend till the sniffles weren't so hard.
"It's gonna be ok sugarcube." She said picking the mare up and putting her in her bed and headed downstairs after she made sure her friend was going to be fine before leaving the house.
Back in Twilights room the mare rolled over wide awake and thinking, about her future and those of her friends.
'Maybe it's time to move on.' She thought as she started to drift off and into a dreamless sleep.
(3 months later)
Twilight sighed as she trained beating in a dead tree before she stopped and just looked at the tree thinking, over these past few months her friends started to get more and more distant while Snowflake was always too busy to do anything so it was just her by herself.
'I think I'm going to head home for a while. Nothing else to do here anyway plus I haven't seen mom and dad in a while.' She thought taking off her bloody wrappings and bathing in the river that was close by and putting on fresh clothes and headed for the train station when Applejack spotted her heading past the farm.
"HEY TWILIGHT!!" She called out to her but the mare continued to walk by while Applejack looked confused before she spotted the large bag over her shoulder and where she was headed as she went wide eyed.
' Is she leaving?!' She thought and took off after her when Twilight flashed away.
'NO!' AJ thought and took off towards the train station.
Up in the clouds Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were having a relaxing time just watching the clouds lazily roll by till they heard a few shouts below them making them look down to see a sprinting Applejack as she jumped over things and nearly knocking down ponies making them worry.
"Come on Fluttershy lets go see what's up with AJ." Rainbow stated getting a nod from the timid mare flew down to the sprinting mare as she jumped over Scootaloo and Applebloom.
"Hey AJ where's the fire?" Dash asked and could see the panicked expression on her face.
"Twi is leaving Dash and I don't know where to!" AJ said making the two go wide eyed.
"WHAT!!??" They all jumped when they saw Pinkie beside them.
"Babe? When did you get here?" Dash asked as the mare frowned.
"No time for that! We have to get to Twilight!" She said and raced ahead of them.
"Fluttershy go get Rarity while we catch up with Twilight!" AJ stated getting a squeak from her but she fell back and took off to Rarity's house.
As they trio made it to the train station they saw it pulling off and Twilight in the window with a bored look on her face. Pinkie sank down to her knees and started to cry as Dash went to help her.
"We're to late." Applejack said watching the train fade away into the distance just as Rarity and Fluttershy showed up.
(Canterlot)
Twilight stepped off the train and slung her bag over her shoulder smiling a little at the city she grew up in a feeling of home washing over her and warming her soul while she made her way home.
'Home, it's been forever since I've been here.' Twilight thought with a smile as she took the paths she knew by heart back to her home.
She could see the white house not to far away making her smile wider and even saw her mother walk out to get the mail when she spotted her and tears started to fall as the older mare ran to her throwing her arms around her daughter. Twilight savored her mothers warmth like no matter what nothing could hurt her.
"OH honey what a pleasant surprise!!" Her mother cried squeezing her.
"Oh sweetie we missed you so much! How come you never write us anymore or call?" Dim Star asked as Twilight sighed.
"I'm sorry mom things have been a bit crazy and just really busy is all." Twilight stated letting her mother lead her into the house.
"Come on inside dear and relax, you father will be home any minute." She said while they came inside and she went into the kitchen while Twilight went and put her things in her old room. She smiled looking around at her room just as the front door opened and closed.
"Dim I'm home!" She heard and raced down the stairs to see her aging father who was giving her mother a kiss before he spotted her and froze.
"Hi daddy." She said as he smiled while tears started to gather in his eyes and his lip started to tremble, he held out his arms unable to speak as she ran into them and buried her face in his chest feeling him wrap his arms around her.
Unknown to anyone besides her family Twilight was a HUGE daddies girl and he ate it up cause in his eyes his daughter could never do anything wrong and he was VERY protective of his little girl.
"Ah oh baby girl it's so good to have you home." He stated kissing the top of her head and laid his chin on her head while he tried to blink the tears out of his eyes.
"So baby girl what brings you home?" He asked still holding her as she pulled back some and looked a little sad and automaticly his father mode kicked in.
"STAR GET MY BAT!" He yelled and looked down at Twilight.
"Now sweetie tell me who hurt you and daddy WILL make sure that it never happens again." He said while Dim Star rolled her eyes.
"Daddy it's not that I have that situation under control, it's just I needed some time home. My friends are getting distant and more than a few of them have dropped me out of their life or ignore me so I just needed some time away and at home." She stated making him smile.
"Don't worry baby girl they're just stupid since I'm sure it became public about what you did while you were missing and afterwards?" He asked as she laid her head on his chest and nodded.
"Well the way I see it is if they can't accept you for who you are then they're not very good friends and they don't deserve you." He stated matter a factly making her smile.
"Thanks daddy you always know what to say." She said just holding her father and starting to fall asleep feeling him scoop her up and head upstairs.
"Come on baby girl lets get you to bed and we'll talk more in the morning." He said getting a nod from her and helped her into her bed that he made sure to get her just incase she came to visit.
"Night daddy." She mumbled and smiled feeling him kiss her head.
"Night baby girl." He said brushing a lock of hair out of her face.
(That morning)
Twilight smiled looking around her old room letting out a sigh when the door opened and in walked her mother making her sit up.
"Come on downstairs sweetie your father took a day off so he could have some time with you." She said making Twilight get up and get dressed after she took a bath she saw her father in some jeans and a white t-shirt sitting at the table, when he saw her he smiled and motioned for her to sit.
"So sweetie how long are you gonna be staying with us?" Dim asked bringing out some breakfast.
"Um I don't know I wasn't gonna stay that long just a few days since I haven't seen you guys in so long and the wedding wasn't really a nice get together since after the attack I kinda partied and then left, sorry about that by the way." She said looking down as her mother wrapped her arms around her.
"Sweetie I guess you had missions you needed to do at the time so I understand and I know your father does as well." She said getting a nod from the stallion while Twilight just ate this warm feeling up, she forgot how good it felt being home and how safe it felt being home.
"I really have missed you guys so much." Twilight said while her mother let go of her and sat down beside her.
"We miss you to dear but we know that you're busy with your friends and saving us all." She said as a message appeared in front of her.
"Twilight it looks like the princess would like to see you." Dim said as both her husband and Twilight groaned.
"Ok, sorry for wasting your day off today daddy." Twilight said but was pulled into a hug.
"You are never wasting my time sweetheart but I really do wish you would come home every now and then instead of waiting till something bad happens." He said getting a nod from his baby girl.
"Now go see what the princess wants sweetie and we'll set a date sometime in the month for us to have a family day." He said making her smile and wave as she flashed to the roof tops and took off across them.
"She's going to be ok dear, she's a big girl now and she's tough." Dim stated getting a nod from him.
"You think maybe it's time we should teach her our way?" He asked as Dim smiled.
"I think she's ready." Dim stated and pulled him into a kiss.
"Now since you have the day off dear why don't we spend some...alone time together?" She said heading back inside with a extra sway to her hips giggling at her husbands goofy look.
(Castle)
Twilight moved through the castle quickly and found the throne room but no princesses and went to find them, when she spotted them at the front doorway.
"Princesses?" Twilight called making the both turn surprised to see her behind them.
"How did you-?"
"Your guards are very lax, I can't tell you the number of times I got past them since I was a filly to read up on spells or to do a mission." She said crossing her arms.
"My question is how did you know that I was here?" Twilight asked.
"Your friends sent a letter worried about you." Celestia said as Twilight sighed.
"Well I'm fine I just wanted some time at home to clear my head and just be away from drama and everything right now." She said as Celestia nodded.
"Well I am sorry to intrude on your family time." Celestia said as Twilight waved it off.
"It's no trouble at all princess, but what was it that you summoned me for?" She asked as they sighed.
"Twilight we wanted to let you know that there are some rare and valuable spell books in the old castle." Celestia started.
"We also want you to bring them here for storage." Luna said as Twilight nodded and gave a salute before flashing away leaving two giggling alicorns.
"Even if what you have planned for her has been set back sister I think that she will still make a fine addition to us." Luna said getting a nod from Celestia.
"If she can forgive Spike and move on then I say she will be right for ascension." Celestia said as they walked into the throne room.
(Everfree forest, Old castle of the sisters)
Twilight appeared just outside the castle and looked around making sure the coast was clear.
"Well Twi, might as well get this over with." She said heading inside.
"Place is pretty creepy, why did I have to come and do this? Some private in the guard could have came and gotten this stuff, oh well the princess did say that there were some pretty powerful spells around here better go check the old library and then I'll hit up their old chambers." She said to herself moving through the old hallways coming to the old throne room and smiled walking up to the old throne of Celestia's.
"Oh my subjects WE would like our cake with EXTRA frosting on top of the frosting already there and chocolate shavings along with a strawberry on top, we are watching our weight after all." Twilight said before laughing.
"Oh man she cracks me up thinking she's sneaky, HA!" Twilight said while elsewhere a certain princess's eye was twitching while her sister was having trouble breathing from laughing so hard.
"SO if I was a library where would I be in a old dank castle that hasn't been used in a thousand years?" Twilight said walking around before taking a right and spotting the large library sign about the double doors.
"Oh, well they still need arrows or something pointing to it." She made her way through the doors and stopped shuddering at the sight of so many lost books and knowledge.
"Yep it's official I'm moving in." She made her way over to a private area and found a study room.
(Three days later)
Twilight groaned stretching and looked up to see the dirty roof making her sigh.
"Well I better get those books." She said to herself opening a hidden passageway she came to Celestia's room and grabbed the candle sitting on the bedside and a brick on the wall turned showing a journal making her smile and flash away to Luna's room and ran some magic over a floor tile where it opened showing her a collection of books and at the bottom was her own journal.
"There got them both, now time to head back." She said and flashed away.
(Canterlot)
Twilight appeared in the throne room just at the end of day court. She walked up to Celestia who looked over and smiled at her.
"Welcome back Twilight we were starting to get worried about you." She stated while Twilight handed her the books.
"Yeah sorry about that but I did find some useful stuff around there I hope you don't mind if I take some to my library?" She asked getting a smile from Celestia.
"Go ahead Twilight, they are doing nothing but wasting away." She said waving her on getting a squeal from Twilight.
"Thank you!" She called over her shoulder and flashed out the door to her home.
Twilight appeared in her parents house to see her mother and father look up and smile at her.
"Hey baby girl we didn't expect you to be back so soon." Nightlight said getting up and pulling her into a hug followed by her mother.
"I'm glad you came by actually because we have something to tell you." Dimstar said.
"Ok what's up?"
"We would like to train you in our family style of fighting, it will be grueling and hard work but once you're done you will be on a level that could rival one of the sisters." She stated while Twilight looked at them shocked.
"Why didn't you tell me any of this sooner?" She asked while her father brought her close to him.
"Sweetie when we saw you weren't interested in fighting we decided to just keep it between us, not even your brother knows of this since he stays in the Crystal Empire. But with you and since we know you've had prior training we can skip the basics and move right into your advanced lessons." Dimstar stated as Twilight thought for a minute before smiling.
"When do I start?"
"As soon as you gather your gear meet us at the mountain retreat, we'll be waiting." Nightlight said as they flashed away soon followed by Twilight.
(Ponyville library)
Twilight appeared inside her library and grabbed her gear quickly before slipping on her old training uniform and walked out the door heading down the street towards the train station once again.
She was in a white training gi with a black dragon belt around her waist, she wore fingerless gloves with molded metal knuckles. Her hooves were wrapped as she flashed away to the station.
When she appeared she was shocked to see Pinkie Pie who had a blanket around her watching the tracks, her hair was deflated and it looked like she had been crying.
"Pinkie?" Twilight called out watching as the mares ears popped up and looked behind her.
"Twilight?" She asked while tears started to come down her face and she got up moving over to her and wrapped her arms around her before she started to break down crying once again.
"Shhh, shhh, hey come on Pinks what's the matter?" She asked petting her hair while the mare kept a death grip on her soaking her gi.
"You left us." She stated as Twilight pulled back.
"Pinkie I didn't leave you guys I just went to have some space and be with my family is all. Well I guess I did leave you guys technically but not in the way you're thinking I promise."
"What do you mean have some space?"
"I guess not really me having some but just wanted to be alone and away from here for a while. I just feel like you guys are getting distant so I'm taking a trip and I don't know when I'll be back, I'm not leaving you guys behind Pinkie. I'm going to go train with my family in the mountains for a while so please don't be upset Pinkie, I am coming back to guys ok I would never leave you guys." She said pulling the mare into a tight hug that was instantly returned.
"You guys are my best friends, I would never just run away from you guys if we're having problems but after everything thats happened I just want to get away and have some me time for once." She stated feeling Pinkie snuggle into her neck and whimpered.
"You're not going to be gone very long are you?"
"Honestly I don't know Pinkie, just wait for me ok and tell the others I'll be back as soon as I can." She squeezed the mare one last time before pulling back just as a train pulled up and ponies got off while she headed to get on.
Pinkie watched as the mare disappeared in the crowd with a frown on her face before she headed home to Dash to tell her what was going on, her friends were not going to be happy.
(Canterlot mountain heights)
Twilight walked down the path towards her family's cottage with a small smile on her face letting her senses reach out when she felt something flying towards her making her turn bringing up her sword only to watch as it was cut in half. She only had time to gape at her sword before she was sent flying into and through a patch of trees.
"You're going to have to be a lot more quicker than that baby girl." Twilight looked up to see the covered face of her father when her mother appeared at his side.
"He's right sweetie but we'll work on that once your training starts, come on lets go get some sleep. You have have a long day ahead of you." Dimstar said helping her daughter up.
(Ponyville 5am)
Twilight and the others sighed as they headed to the showers. Well Lyra was gonna wait outside till Gilda pushed her in with them so they could all go to bed and get the blood off them. Plus the shower was big enough for them all Lyra scrubbed Gilda's back getting moans from the griffon when she scrubbed between her wings making the poor griffon start to pant when the mare moved on to her wings.
Twilight didn't make it any better when she attacked the distracted griffons body when things started to get out of control and now she found herself more tired than ever in between the two lovers naked as the day she was born.
"Lyra? Why are you still awake?" Twilight whispered pulling the mare closer to her.
"Um I just feel like I'm intruding on your's and Gilda's um personal time is all ma'am." Lyra said as she shifted to look at Twilight.
"Sweetie, Gilda and I would never bring you to our bed if we both didn't like you. Besides nothing happened anyway, I'm way to tired from killing all those idiots in town." She yawned.
"She's right and besides Lyra we've only known you for a day really, and after seeing you in action I can say truthfully that I'm glad to have you watching our back." Gilda said rolling over and wrapping her arms around the mare who blushed feeling her breasts push up against her.
"Besides we would kick you out if we wanted alone time." Twilight said with a laugh getting one from Gilda as Lyra smiled but snuggled into Twilight getting a look from both Twilight and Gilda.
"Thanks for letting me sleep with you guys though." She sighed as Twilight pulled her close to her laying her head on her chest while putting her head on her and leaning over giving Gilda a kiss.
"No problem Lyra." Gilda said hearing the mare’s slow breathing showing she was sound asleep followed quickly by the other two.
9am came too early for the three when a knock came to the door making the three groan.
"Uuuuugh, I'll get it." Gilda said rolling out of bed and smacking into ground face first.
"Yep never mind. That hurt." She squeaked from the floor.
"Fine I'll go." Twilight said getting up but then crumpling to the floor to tired to go down stairs. Twilight looked up and smacked Lyra's hand.
"Tag you're up." She moaned from the floor while the knocking continued.
"Oooh but I don't want to it's too early. I'm sure they'll go away in time.
"TWILIGHT! ARE YOU HOME OR NOT!?"
A bloodshot eye from Twilight and Gilda popped open at the voices as they made their way back up to the bed and snuggled up to Lyra who sighed in content.
"You're right they'll go away soon enough." Gilda said as the door was kicked in making them groan as three little fillies opened the door.
"Twilight! You said that you would watch us as the others went to the derby today in Canterlot." Sweetie Belle said as Scootaloo jumped up on the bed with the mares and griffon as they groaned.
"And you said that you would help teach me how to fly Gilda!" The filly yelled.
"Um Twilight are y’all ok?" Applebloom asked coming around to look at the tired mare.
"We're really tired is all sweet heart, we just got back from a mission late this morning so if you guys want give me a minute to get some tea ok? Have you guys eaten yet?" She asked as they shook their heads getting a sigh from her.
"Ok go wait in the living room and I'll be there in a minute." Twilight said getting a smile from the fillies who rushed down the stairs.
"How could we have forgotten today?" Gilda asked just as another knock came to the door.
"TWILIGHT THERE'S A STALLION AT THE DOOR FOR YOU!!" She heard Applebloom yelled making Twilight sigh.
"Are you guys staying in bed for a little while longer?"
"Uuuugggghhhh"
"Wimps." Twilight grabbed her house coat and staggered down the stairs to see Blueblood standing in the living room talking with the girls.
"Are you the prince that my sister tried to marry?" Sweetie Belle asked as he sighed.
"Yes I was dear but before you get mad you have to know that I didn't like your sister like she liked me and marriage is a dream I don't want to come true till I find a mare that I like that likes me for who I am not because I'm a prince." He smiled as she thought about what he said.
"So do you like another mare?" Scootaloo asked as he smiled down at her.
"I have a few on my radar." He smiled when Applebloom smiled looking at Twilight.
"Is Twilight one of them?" She asked as he blushed with the mare in question.
"Um as of right now Twilight is a new friend of mine so no, not at this moment." He smile as Twilight smiled behind him.
"Well that's good to hear that would be a little weird after only talking to each other for a day." Twilight smiled getting him to turn around and blush at the goddess that was in front of him.
"So what can I do for you Blueblood?" She asked as he blinked composing himself.
"I just wanted to say thank you in person for a job well done, turns out you took down every mobster in that town which happened to be half the town. Got to say your team is everything it's cracked up to be and more. Here is your payment." He said handing her a large sack of bits getting a smile from her.
"Thank you Blueblood, have you eaten yet?" She asked as he shook his head.
"Please I don't want to impose on you and the young ladies." He said as she smiled and waved him off.
"Don't worry about it, pull up a chair stay for a while and talk." She said as he smiled.
" I guess I could spare some time to eat and greet." He said going over to the table with the girls who were talking about getting their cutie marks making the stallion smile at them.
"So girls what's todays plan for your cutie marks?" She asked as the girls beamed and started to tell her the different plans that had from farming to skydiving and deep sea fishing while Twilight stomped down any of the more dangerous plans of theirs like manticore wrangling, hydra tamer, and timber wolf beast riders.
"Ok girls here's your breakfast now eat up cause we're going to be learning a few things today and I'm sure you're going to be tired by the time your sisters get home." She said handing them pancakes, eggs, hash browns, milk and water.
"THANKS TWILIGHT!!" They cheered making the two adults whince but keep the smile on their faces.
"Here you go Blueblood." Twilight handed him a plate full of pancakes, hashbrowns, oats and some OJ and milk.
"Thank you Twilight this looks great." He said chowing down and moaned at the taste.
"I have to say Twilight if you ever decide to give up this part of your life I would love to have you as my personal cook." He said as she smiled and blushed a little.
"Thanks." She said sitting down with a plate of pancakes and hash browns along with a bowl of oats along with some OJ.
As the group talked and laughed Blueblood left stating that he would be in touch a few days from now.
Twilight sighed and cleaned up after the fillies as they ran out to have fun and start their plans leaving Twilight to down a whole pot of coffee afterwards just to wake up a little.
After a few hours her lover and guard came down to see the haggard look on the mare.
"Babe are you ok? Come on lets get you to bed." Gilda said
"Yeah I'm good just need to wake up is all. Besides I have to teach Sweetie Belle some magic lessons." She said and stumbled being caught by both the mare and griffon.
"Oh no Lyra can teach the squirt on magic you need to get to bed." Gilda said just as Twilight was going to protest Lyra stepped up.
"Twilight please, we don't want to see you overwork yourself." Lyra said getting a sigh out of the mare.
"Ok I'll go if you're sure." She said getting a smile from the two.
"Don't worry babe we got this." Gilda said guiding her the bed upstairs.
"Ok thanks guys I'll be up in a few hours ok?" She called back to Lyra who nodded.
"Ok just get some rest and once you do just call us to see where we are." Gilda said putting her in the bed.
(4 hours later)
Gilda sighed as she helped Scootaloo fly, it wasn't that the kid's wings were underdeveloped she had to work in form and strength. Just flapping them wasn't gonna do anything but let her hover, she looked over at the panting filly and smiled thinking of her future kids.
"Oh hello Gilda." The griffon turned and smiled at the timid pegasus who landed next to them on the cloud they were on, that was about 10 feet off the ground.
"Hey Flutters, how are you this afternoon?" She asked getting a small smile from her.
"Oh well I'm doing fine, I was just about to head over to see Big Mac since he needs some help with some critters eating the crops again." She stated tapping her fingers together with a blush.
"Oh? So are you having a bit of feelings for Big Mac?" Gilda asked as the mare squeaked and looked at the stareing Scootaloo.
"Um no. We're just good friends, besides I'm sure that he already has a mare in his life."
"NOPE!!" They all screamed turning to see Applebloom smiling at them.
"No mah brother ain't seein no one." She said grinning wide at Fluttershy that was in Gilda's arms while Scootaloo was on the griffin's head shaking.
"Applebloom!! Don't do that!" She yelled but only got a bigger grin from AB.
"So are you gonna talk to him?" She asked fluttering her eyes.
"Um I don't know."
"WELL YOU SHOULD!"
"SQUEE!!"
"AB knock it off!" Gilda yelled as the little filly shrunk back while Gilda petted Fluttershy's head.
"You know that Fluttershy doesn't like to put people in a awkward position so don't pressure her." Gilda said gently while Applebloom sighed just when her phone rang.
"Yo?"
[Hey hun I'm up and I'm heading over to the grove if you or Lyra want to join me unless you and Scoots are still training.] She said getting a grin from the griffon as she looked back at the exhausted filly.
"I think the shrimp is done for the day, I really worked her hard today." Gilda said.
[Ok, well just meet me over there, I'm going to be just relaxing.] She said.
"Cool we'll be over there in a bit."
[Ok I'll be waiting.] She said hanging up.
Over on the other side of town was Lyra and Sweetie Belle who after the girls were done crusading split up to help with family and for two of them to be trained into the dirt.
Right now Sweetie Belle was panting hard as she practised her magic doing multiple things at once while walking or running as Lyra would throw things at her that she was suppose to catch in her magic.
But things don't always go as planned.
THUNK
"OW!"
"Come on Sweetie Belle this is foal stuff why hasn't your father, mother or even your sister taught you how to do these things?" She asked as the filly let out a gasp as all the things she was holding fell while she covered her head.
"Well, OW! My mom and dad are always busy and so is Rarity and they never really have time to teach me anything and I was gonna ask Twilight but she was always busy with her books." She stated with her head going down.
"And what makes you think that Twilight wouldn't have put things on hold to teach you? Even now she's shown me a couple of basic things I never knew or forgotten so no matter how old you are as long as someone is willing Sweetie Belle you can learn anything." Lyra smiled just as she got a call from Twilight while Sweetie Belle sighed.
'I don't know, should I ask her to teach me. I don't want another smarty pants thing, but Twilight's one of the strongest unicorns I know.' She thought groaning just as Lyra got off the phone.
"Hey Sweetie Belle why don't we go see what Twilight's doing over at the grove?" Lyra asked getting a sigh from the filly.
"Ok."
(The grove)
Twilight sat down on the water letting the earths energies run through her, on the shore was one of the manticore cubs and some of the other animals of the forest, there was even one of the greater timber wolf dens nearby that would come by from time to time.
They were much larger than their smaller cousins and not as savage, they were more calm and kept mostly to themselves deep in the forest. Right now the alpha male was sunbathing on the shore with the manticore cub that was laying on his back watching Twilight.
Twilight stood catching the attention of all the animals as she began to channel magic into the water itself as it began to twist around her and flow with her as she began to go through katas just letting herself unwind.
Off a little from the shore were three whimpering fillies and a mare came to the shore before they became awed by what they were seeing. The elemental control that Twilight was showing was incredible. Fluttershy had never seen anything like this before nor had any of the others besides Gilda who couldn't keep a smile off her face.
As the fillies sat close to the two mares Gilda went over petting the manticore cub and nodding to the alpha wolf who gave a little shake of his head before turning back to Twilight.
Twilight never noticed the others as she became one with the water itself as it bent to her will flowing around and through her as she went. When she opened her eyes she saw Gilda smiling along with the awed looks of her friends and fillies making her smile and start to slow down as all the water that was flowing around her rested in her palm as a ball the size of a fillies head. During the entire time Twilight never got soaked or splashed.
"Hey guys, you enjoy the show?" She asked while little tendrils of water flowed out wrapping around Gilda and Lyra and bringing them over the pond.
Lyra instantly let her magic go to her feet keeping her from falling in while Gilda hovered next to her.
"So what do you want to ask me Sweetie Belle?"She said smiling at the filly who looked shocked.
"How did you-
"It's all in your eyes Sweetie, so what do you want to ask me?" She asked again letting the water ball glide around her body and orbit around her and the others.
"Um well I was wondering if you could teach me how to do magic like you?" She asked getting a smile from Twilight.
"I don't see why not, since Scootaloo is going to be training with Gilda till Dash gets back and with apple season coming to a close then Applebloom is going to be busy and so is your sister with winter and fall clothing orders, so come by every day after your crusading is done and we'll get started on the basics." She stated getting a nod and beaming smile from Sweetie Belle just as the orbs splashed into the water and Twilight sank in.
"Well ladies tell me about your day while I was out." She said watching the manticore cub climb in Fluttershy's lap getting a whimper from the mare.
As the fillies talked about their time with Gilda and Lyra, Twilight nodded and listened while watching Fluttershy out of the corner of her eye petting the cub while sensing the parents behind her who were watching her and the other newcomers.
"I have to say Twilight this is a great place to come to relax." Lyra stated getting a smile from Twilight and Gilda.
"I know right? But don't come without us though till the residents get used to you." Gilda stated looking back at the manticores.
"Right." She said getting up and stretching.
"Well I better get to the house and make some dinner for us. Oh and thank for the pancakes and stuff this morning."
"No prob, the girls really liked them." Twilight stated looking over at the fillies resting against the timber wolf.
"Alright girls time to head home." Twilight said clapping waking the girls up as the cub jumped out of Fluttershy's lap and yipped from the shore.
"Oh no young colt, it's starting to get late so you go with your parents." She stated sternly just as the two parents walked out glancing at Fluttershy before the mother grabbed up the cub.
" Always a pleasure to be in your company." Twilight said bowing a little to the timber wolf who gave it's own before heading into the forest.
(3 days later)
Twilight sat in a carriage being pulled by two horses while Gilda sat across from her and Lyra next to her in an expensive dress while Lyra and Twilight were wearing suits.
"So you all have heard of what we're to do for the clan yes?" Twilight asked getting a sigh from them.
"I know, I know, but it's only for a few days so grin a bare with it. Gilda I know you're not fond of the duke and since last time I was posed as your servant then we need to keep that cover. Lyra you know you're just the new addition to the house." She said while Gilda growled.
"Dirty little letch." Gilda seethed while Twilight patted her knee.
"Now hun just try to make it through the meeting while Lyra searches the house for clues on Lord Thunderwind. We need to find anything linking him and the grisly murders around Canterlot and it's surrounding areas." Twilight said as Lyra nodded.
"Now everyone be on your be on your best behaviour till we find something linking him with the murders. Gilda you know what to do." Twilight stated while the griffon shivered.
(Thunderwind's manor)
Gilda forced a smile just as a griffon threw open the doors beaming at Gilda who had to suppress a shiver.
"OH GILDY DARLING!!" The griffon squealed as Twilight glared.
"Such a stupid being." She said as they waited at the end of the stairs while he grabbed Gilda and twirled her around.
"Oh Gilda it's so good to see you." The griffon said.
"Indeed Lord Thunderwind, now could you kindly put me down." Gilda stated while he did just that.
"I apologize my lady, please come inside so we may discuss our arrangement." He stated leading the way into the manor.
Inside was amazing to any of the commonwealth with polished marble statues of great leaders of Griffonia to paintings of ancestors on the walls. It was truly a marvel to behold.
Twilight, Gilda, and Lyra followed Lord Thunderwind down the hall and into the grand library.
Twilight smiled a little at all the books in the room while they walked before coming to a long table where one of his maids were ready to hold out Gilda's chair.
"Now how can I assist the princess' today?" He asked while Gilda grumbled.
"The princess would like your help in solving the latest strings of murders within Canterlot Lord Thunderwind." Gilda began as he smiled.
"Ah well I will do all I can to help her highness." He smirked while Twilight sighed.
"Mistress how about I fetch us a spot of tea while you and our lord here discuss ways to help the princess'." She said getting a nod from Gilda while Twilight turned to Thunderwind.
"My lord?"
"Of course Ms.Twilight I believe you know where the kitchen is." He said getting a bow from her and left.
"Come along Lyra." Twilight ordered while Lyra jumped up running after her.

"And do keep your voice down, its very rude." She said with her hands clasped behind her back as they walked just when they turned the corner.
When the two were alone Twilight smiled looking over a Lyra.
"Go Lyra, find what we need." Twilight said as the mare disappeared.
After a while Twilight came back along with a duplicate that looked like Lyra.
"Sir your tea, Lyra please take the mistress her tea." Twilight stated getting a nod from the clone.

Lyra was in Thunderwinds personal chambers looking through the files in his cabinet and desk.
"Hm he's very confident to have this out in the open or-
"My lord said there may be rats in the manor." A female griffon stated from the doorway as Lyra kept looking through the files.
"Hm such incriminating evidence of the lord, tell me is he so confident that he would think only you can stop me from taking him in with this?" She asked as 12 more griffon maids with various weapons came in.
"Hm now this could get interesting." Lyra smiled tucking the files into her suit.
"Well what are you waiting for?" She asked just as they all charged.
(With Gilda and Twilight)
"With these murder strings going on the public is beginning to become restless." Gilda stated as he nodded.
"This is very true, however-BOOOOOM!!!
They all jumped back to find Lyra standing on top of a griffon maid, Lyra was cut and bruised but all around fine. Above her were the moaning maids beaten and bloody but alive.
"Honestly keeping them alive is such a pain." Lyra stated before she looked over at the Lord Griffon and grinned at his shocked face.
"So tell me Lord Thunderwind. What are these doing in your personal chambers." Lyra asked tossing a picture of one of the dead mares.
"LITTLE BITCH!!" He screamed going to grab his pistol when the bones in his arm snapped at the sudden move.
"Ah so the drug finally set in my lord. It's amazing what the Everfree grows in the darkness, I took the liberty of spiking your tea with a deadly root called the Black Root only grown near ponds and groves that once drank causes the bones to deteriorate at a rapid rate." Twilight stated.
"Yo, you whore!" He yelled crumpling to the floor breaking more bones as he screamed out in pain.
"Such a fool you are, to think that a wretched beast like you could get away with something like this." Twilight said crushing his foot as he screamed in pain.
"How many wives and daughters did you rape and kill for your pleasure as they begged for mercy?" She asked flashing her sharpened teeth while her eye blazed with hate.
"WHAT ARE YOU!?" He yelled getting a wicked smile.
"I'll let you wonder like a pitiful fool in the dark." She said just as the royal guard busted in.
"Take Lord Thunderwind into custody for the death of 23 mares." Twilight stated.
"YES MA'AM!" They yelled grabbing him up crushing the fragile bones in his arms and legs.

His screams echoed through the manor as the maids were taken into custody as well.
"You three did very well, thank you once again." They all turned to see Blueblood smiling at them.
"HEY BLUE B!" Twilight yelled wrapping her arms around him as the others came to him giving hugs.
"Hello Twilight, Gilda, and Lyra. Very well done today and great work on the Black Root spiked tea, I never would have thought of that." He smiled getting grins from the girls as they stepped back.
"So how bout we step over to Pony Joes place for a bite to eat?" He asked getting grins from them.
"Sure sounds good, what do you think Twi?" Gilda asked getting a sigh from her.
"Sorry but I have to decline the offer, I have to get back to Ponyville since I told Rarity I would help with designs. Rain check?" She asked getting a smile from him.
"Of course, now ladies are you ready?" He asked while they looped their arms with his while Twilight sighed and disappeared.

Twilight smiled a little walking into town nodding to the few who waved at her while she made her way to Rarity's boutique.
'Aww I wanted some time to spend with Blue B.' She groaned but a smiled slowly crossed her face thinking of her friends reaction to the nickname.

"Twilight, I have a request for you and the girls." Blueblood stated as Twilight smiled.

Twilight giggled as she walked coming to her friends house just as said mare opened the door and spotted her.
"Oh Twilight darling!" She called as Twilight smiled.
"Good afternoon Rarity, how are you?" She asked hugging her friend.
"I'm wonderful dear how are you? I have seen Blueblood over at your home a lot recently, care to explain?" She asked while they went inside.
"Blue B is a friend of ours, we were just helping him solve a case of the murders in Canterlot I'm sure you heard about." She said as they headed into the kitchen.
"Blue B huh? Well that is certainly an affectionate name for him but yes I have heard of those dreadful murders in Canterlot, tell me have you found the pony yet?" She asked.
"Naturally. It was a griffon actually that did it, I made him feel pain like never imagined." She said getting a nod from Rarity.
"Such a disgusting creature." She stated getting a nod from Twilight.
"Indeed, now what did you need of me dear?" Twilight getting a smile from Rarity.
"I would like you to model for me darling is all, I have quite a few dresses that I could use your help with." She stated getting a nod from Twilight.
"Well no time like the present." She said getting up and heading to Rarity's gallery.
"Indeed darling, the quicker we begin the quicker it will be over." She giggled and skipped after her friend.
(4 hours later)
"Thank you for all your help darling I know it's not very comfortable being poked and prodded for hours at a time." She said but just got a smile from Twilight.
"It's no problem at all Rarity, I was able to help you when you needed it so I had fun." She said getting a smile from Rarity.
"See you later Rarity." Twilight stated and hugged her before heading home.
"See you later darling!" Rarity called after her just when the mare faded away.
When she made it home she saw much to her surprise Master Guardian sitting in her favorite chair.
"Lord Guardian? What are you doing here?" She asked as the old stallion turned to her and smiled.
"Ah Twilight my dear! It's good to see you." He smiled getting one from the mare. He was an older earth stallion graying in places while his golden coat was beginning to dull in color. Even at such a young age he was a master of martial arts and a sage of one of the branch clans.
"It's good to see you too Lord Guardian. Now what can I do for you?" She asked crossing her arms as he frowned crossing his arms with a pout.
"Can't I come see my favorite student and spend some time with you?" He asked as she sighed.
"Not when you have information for me." She stated as he sighed.
"I see that eye of yours is working well." He stated as she smiled.
"I don't need the eye to tell you have something important to tell me." She said crossing her arms over her chest.
"You're no fun you know that? But you're right, your mother sent me to tell you that the duke of Germaney may be a traitor that will try to get you captured by the dragon clan." He said appearing behind her wrapping his arms around her stomach.
"Oh and how do you know this? The duke and his family has been with the clan for years." She said feeling his hands move to her shoulders massaging them getting a sigh from her.
"I know that and it has me worried if he can be bought and betray our clan like this. Just be careful Twilight, you are the future of the clan along with your future wives and husbands that you may take." He said slowly inching his hand to her breast.

"Yes they will be sending a royal carriage for only you tomorrow so you can visit with them." He said almost to his objective.

Twilight sat with one of Germaney's finest Dukes in the land as they sat in his car being driven to the dragon nation.
He was in a black pinstripe suit with a golden cane. He was a brown stallion with blonde hair and stylish glasses on his snout as he looked at the beautiful mare in front of him.
"So tell me Lyra, how much would it take for you to come work for me?" He asked as she bristle at the question knowing what he meant.
"Sorry but I live for the clan and Mistress Twilight and Lady Gilda. I have no desire to leave them." She stated watching the countryside pass by. She was in a low V-neck white dress with the sides slit so she could move around while a concealed pistol was strapped to her inner thigh.
In a bag by her hooves were her swords and armor among her other weapons. She had a ear bud that her hair was covering as she listened to her teammates talk.

"Is everything ok Lady Lyra?" The duke asked while she felt him rub her leg.
"Everything is fine Duke Luun." She said smacking his hand away getting a growl from the stallion before smiling.
"Listen bub I'm your guard and that's it. So keep your hands to yourself!" She growled back while he shrank into the seat.
"UGH!" She growled frustrated and it didn't help that her friends were laughing.
"Next time Gilda gets the hot seat." She snarled to herself.
[Heads up we're coming into the town now.] Gilda stated as Lyra sighed.
'Well better put my game face on.' She thought watching the gates pass by.

Pinkie skipped down the street with a smile on her face headed towards the library, Pinkie and the rest of her friends had been keeping the library cleaned while Twilight was away.
She couldn't believe it had been two years now since she last seen her friend, as she walked she saw a figure walking down the road she had never seen before.

Pinkie was sure if AJ really tried she could give Rarity and Fluttershy a run for their bits in the beauty department.
"Hey AJ! Fixing to set up shop?" She asked getting a smile from the mare who nodded.
"Yep fixin to start selling Zap Apples so the rest of the crop has to go before we start to harvest them." She stated getting a smile from Pinkie.
"Well once I'm done over at Twilights house I'll be sure to drop by and pick up a basket before I start to head home."
"Sure thing sugarcube I'll be here." AJ stated tipping her hat to the mare.
"Oh um good morning you two." The two mares turned and smiled at their timid friend.
"Mornin Fluttershy, y'all here for some apple before the Zap Apple harvest?" AJ asked getting a nod from the mare.
Fluttershy hadn't really changed that much beside cutting her hair and tail a little bit shorter. She wore a light yellow shirt over DD breasts that hugged all of her curves, she had on a pair of tight jeans that stopped just below her knee showing off her impressive curves.
"Um yes if you don't mind that is." She stated poking her fingers together.

Pinkie smiled as she watched her friends chat before she turned back to the library after saying goodbye to her friends heading to the library.
It wasn't more than 5 seconds after Pinkie closed the door did they hear her scream making the all rush to the library as Applejack kicked in the door only to find Pinkie crying in the chest of a mare.

As Pinkie closed the door she turned to see much to her shock Twilight Sparkle with her back to her. The mare had changed so much in the past two years.
Her hair was cut short up to her neck while her tail was cut short as well, she had put on quite a lot of muscle that she looked like she could keep up with Applejack on a busy day with no breaks. The group of mares stared shocked as they looked at Twilight and the changes she had gone through, she had her lower face covered by a mask and she had a patch over one of her left eye while the right was slitted with a rose red color that seemed to sparkle looking down at the blubbering mare that had a death grip on her.
Twilight smiled as she ran her hand through her hair while she tried to calm the poor mare down.
"Your finally home!" She sobbed feeling the mare pull her in tighter.
"Yeah I'm home Pinkie." She said nuzzling her cheek with a loving smile on her face as she looked down into her friends eyes.
"Where have you been Twilight?" She asked as she looked up into Twilight's eye she saw that her friend had matured well ahead of her years.
"I think where haven't I been would be a better question." She stated giving a warm smile to her friend before looking up at the others.
"Hello everyone I'm happy to see you're all doing well." She stated smiling before she was pulled into a group hug letting out a contented sigh just holding her friends.
'It's good to be home.' She thought pulling her friends deeper into the hug.
After a while and everyone dried their tears they pulled back from the mare except for Pinkie who Twilight just smiled and pulled into her lap and wrapped her arms around her.
"So what would you like to know?" She asked looking down at Pinkie and then her other friends.
"What happened to your eyes darling and what have you been doing all this time for such a change?" Rarity asked.
"I trained for the last two years with my parents in our families style of Taijutsu and ninjutsu. It's called the Fine Blade style and after my training was done I came home after we got back from our travels. I've just been redefining my magic and skills as for my eye well I hope it doesn't gross you out." She stated nervously and reached up pulling off her eyepatch showing a crystal blue slit eye making them all gasp.
"It's beautiful." Pinkie said making Twilight smile and blush a little.
"I have to agree darling what a marvelous color." Rarity smiled.
"It's very pretty Twilight." Fluttershy stated coming and giving a hug to her friend.
"It looks good on you sugarcube, I like it." AJ smiled.
"Thanks guys you don't know how much this means to me." She said taking her sword off her back and putting it in with her other clothes and gear before she felt two arms around her stomach.
"I'm so happy you're home Twilight." Pinkie stated getting a smile from all of them.
"So darling tell us, what are your plans now that you're home and what of your other eye." Rarity asked watching her two friends smiling a little.
"Both the reasons behind my eyes are personal for now, you understand don't you?" Twilight asked looked the shocked looks on their faces when a knock came to the door when they saw Twilight's face brighten up.
"Come on in I want you to meet them babe!" Twilight called as the door opened and Gilda walked in making many of them gape at Twilight as the mare walked up to her pulling her into a kiss.
"It's nice to finally meet you guys, Twilights told me all about you guys. I've been meaning to come back to apologize but I could never really get the courage up to do it." She frowned looking down while they narrowed their eyes at her.
"How do you know Twilight?" Pinkie asked while the others nodded while the griffon smiled at the mare.

Twilight stood on top of a rushing river moving through katas slowly that her parents were teaching her when they heard a scream coming through the woods to the right.
"I'll go check it out." Twilight stated as her parents nodded and continued their exercises.
Twilight moved through the forest at blinding speeds quickly coming to the scene as she landed on a branch above them. There were four pegasus that were smirking down at a beaten griffon who was glaring at them.
"We told you not to come around here again griffon, are you stupid or just have a death wish?" One of the mares asked kicking the griffon in the stomach.
"AH!"
"Shutup. Kill her and leave her for the animals." One of the mares stated when they heard someone land behind them making look back to see a purple mare in a black combat gi with a red vest over it that had many pockets on it.
"Who the hell are you!?" The mare growled as one pulled out a knife while a few grabbed bats and swords. She didn't say anything as she reached up to a blue and white grip over her shoulder and pulled out a pale blue sword that seemed to hum with power.
"This is your only chance to leave or die." She stated her voice colder than a windigos breath chilling them to the core.
"Kill her and then the griffon." The mare stated as they all charged her, Gilda watched as the mare disappeared before reappearing in front of her and swung her blade splattering blood on the ground and sheathed her sword.
"You fools are barely worth my time." She stated and grabbed the mares neck snapping it with a sickening crack watching her flop onto the ground.
Gilda was shaking horribly when she turned her eyes on her before she saw her give a warm smile to her calming her down when she reached out her hand to her.
"It's ok I'm not gonna hurt you ma'am." She said as Gilda took her hand.
"I'm Twilight Sparkle, it's good to see you again Gilda." She said getting a surprised look from the griffon.
"How do you know my name?"
"You were at Rainbow's party a few years ago when I saw you before you made a fool of yourself." She smiled helping the griffon up.
"AH!" Gilda clutched her side.
"You ok?"
"It's kinda hard to breath." She stated as Twilight's had glowed with magic.
"You got a few broken bones and two fractured ribs." She stated while her magic turned to a white color. Gilda let out a sigh feeling Twilight run her hand over her wing and back leg.
"You're not gonna fly for a while but you're gonna make it. I mended the the bones that were broke and fractured so besides a little discomfort you will be fine." Twilight stated as Gilda nodded.
"See you around Gilda." Twilight stated getting up and heading back to her parents.
"Wait!" Twilight turned to see Gilda limp up to her.
"Listen I'm sorry about what I did to your friends and I know I should be saying this to them to but I was wondering if I could tag along with you? I mean if it's ok that is?" She asked a little nervous before looking up at Twilights surprised face before a grin slowly creeped up on her face.
"There's a river not to far from here where me and my folks are training, if you're gonna stay with us then you will train with us. See you when you get there." She stated flashed away as Gilda sighed.
"Why do I get the feeling I'm just walked into a torture chamber?"

Gilda smiled over at Twilight as she pulled her into her side.
"The rest is pretty much history, a few months later I asked her out and we went on a date been together ever since." She smiled feeling Twilights hand playing with her flight muscles making her shiver.
"As for your question Rarity, Gilda and I will be staying here. I don't need any revenge on Spike, I've forgiven him for what he did to me nothing will be gained by spilling more blood for petty revenge. Besides he thinks I'm dead and I don't plan on telling him that I'm not." She smiled getting grins from everyone.
"By the way I have to thank you guys for keeping the library clean after all this time." She stated, moving away from Gilda and pulling her friends into another hug.
"You're welcome!" They said.
"So Twilight what are you doing today?" Pinkie asked watching as a spark went across Twilights eye as she glanced at Gilda who was talking to Fluttershy and Rarity.
"Maybe just relaxing after we put everything up." She stated while Pinkie narrowed her eyes.
"What stuff all you had when you left was your gear."
"No no not my stuff I just put it away, I was talking about Gilda's things from her apartment in Canterlot so she can move in with me." Twilight stated getting shocked looks from the others.
"Rainbow isn't gonna like this sugarcube." AJ warned as Twilight scoffed.
"Last I checked Dash isn't my mother besides my mom and dad have given Gilda their blessing after she beat them in hand to hand combat by herself.
"Barely." Gilda rubbing her jaw while crossing the room and pulled her into a gentle kiss.
"Well anyway I'm sure you guys have lots to do today I know we're gonna be busy for a while when the movers show up so I'll see you guys later ok?" Twilight smiled while they all nodded and headed out while Pinkie eyed Gilda before leaving.
Twilight locked the door and closed all the downstairs windows with a sweet little smile on her face.
"Now hun I believe we agreed to have to alone time together and since the movers don't get here for another few hours what do you say to a little time to ourselves upstairs." Twilight smiled letting her hands run down to Gilda's firm ass giving it a squeeze.
"I couldn't agree with you more babe." She stated looking into the red slitted eye of Twilight.
After a few rounds of hot passionate lovemaking and then arranging the library how they wanted it after the movers arrived Twilight and Gilda headed to the markets for some meat and other things for the house.

The two made their way through town getting strange looks from the ponies making Gilda a little nervous, she didn't like being out in the open with only a kuni.
"Gil? You ok babe?" Twilight asked running her hand around her lovers back trying to reassure her.
"Yeah I'm fine just a little twitchy I guess." She replied feeling Twilight wrap her arm around her and lay her head on her shoulder.
"It's ok babe don't worry about what the idiots say ok?" She asked the two walked through the market grabbing what they needed before heading home. Twilight sighed sitting down in her favorite chair when she felt Gilda crawl into her lap making her smile.
"So what are you going to say when Dash sees us?" She asked getting a sigh from the mare.
"Rainbow's opinion of who I date does not concern me. If she doesn't like it then to bad." She stated while her horn flashed and some tea popped up beside her and Gilda.
"Your time in Britannia and Trottingham has rubbed off on you Twi." Gilda pointed out as Twilight blushed a little.
"I suppose so, it's not a bad thing is it?" She asked a little timidly, Gilda smiled running her claw over Twilights neck making her shiver.
"No I think it sounds sexy. " She smirked letting her breath roll across her neck watching her stiffen up.
"Gil." Twilight panted.
"HEY TWILIGHT!!!" The two jumped as Pinkie busted in and froze seeing the two how they were. Twilights top was unbuttoned while Gilda's was off and she only sported a bra leaning over a panting and blushing Twilight.
"Pinkie?" Twilight mumbled in her lust haze making Gilda smile down at her before looking up at the glaring mare.
"Twilight are you ok?" She asked while the mare in question came to her senses, growling up at Gilda showing her sharp teeth while the griffon smiled and stuck out her tongue.
"What's the matter Twilight a little hot under the collar?" She teased when a smile spread over Twilight's face.
"Not at all." She said before grabbing Gilda's shoulders making the griffon shrieked in surprise when she found herself pinned with the mare on top now. Gilda panted looking into Twilights red narrowed eye and the sly lustful look on her face.
"Looks like I'm going to have to show you who's alpha in the relationship." Twilight said while Gilda shook with need.
"You won't break me so easy this time." She weakly shot back as Twilight's grin widened.
"Is that a challenge, my little bird?" She asked feeling something warm wrap around the base of her wings and begin to knead the muscle feeling like it was seeping into her body. Gilda forced herself not to scream in pleasure while her talons dug into the arm rest.

Twilight smiled down at her panting lover and could feel her soaking through her pants leg that had been rubbing her.
"Why don't you rest dear and I'll entertain our guest." Twilight stated to the still panting griffon who just gave a weak nod when Twilight flashed her to their bedroom turning to see a massive blush on Pinkies face.
"Now Pinkie dear what on Earth made you decide now was a good time to crash into my private time with my mate?" She asked slowly getting up and walking towards with a sway to her hips giving a sexy smile to the mare who couldn't even speak at the moment.
"Pinkie hello?" Twilight waved her hand in the mares face making her blink and look over at Twilight who had a knowing smile on her face.
"Twilight I..."
"Maybe next time knock before coming in?" Twilight smirked while Pinkie continued to blush.
"Now what do you need Pinkie?"
"I um wanted to let you know that some mare is looking for you around town." She stated still blushing looking at Twilights pants leg where the stain was but now gone.
"Oh well what was her name?"
"....."
"Pinkie?"
"......."
"Pinkie!?"

"BY THE GODS PINKIE BREATH!!!" Twilight yelled as the mare gasped.
"Are you ok? Come on Pinkie I'm sure that you and Dash have all kinds of crazy things before something like that." She said as Pinkie looked down.
"Me and Dashie aren't together anymore Twilight." Pinkie said getting a understanding look from Twilight.
"I'm sorry to hear that Pinkie, are you guys still friends at least?" She asked getting a beaming smile from the mare.
"Of course, I'm the one who broke it off because it was putting a strain on out relationship not only as a couple but as friends to so I sat her down and we talked calmly about it and agreed with no hard feelings at all. I'll always love Dashie but I know that her dream is going to take her far away and I'm still going to be here." She smiled but Twilight could see the pain in the mares eyes.
Twilight led the mare over to some lazy-colt chairs and had her relax as a cup of tea appeared beside her.
"Here Pinkie it's from Neighpan I got some from a few friends that I made there as a going away present." She smiled and sitting in her own chair as some tea popped up beside her. The two fell into silence as Pinkie thought of what had changed with Twilight.
She seemed....Different to say the least but Pinkie knew that Twilight would change in some ways but she never expected such a drastic one in their little librarian. Pinkie looked over and just really looked at Twilight.
While she was toned she still had her womanly curves so she wasn't overly muscled to make her look gross and while Pinkie knew that Twilight was mature she still had her breakdowns when over stressed. Now though she looked like she was on a level of peace and maturity that she had become a mystery.
Not only that but for her and Gilda to be a couple and it just made something in Pinkie snap watching Gilda with her claws all over Twilight like that. Was she jealous of Gilda or was it something else. She couldn't put her finger on it but it was bugging her to no end.
As she watched Twilight she could see a grace to her that was as if she was a princess the way she held herself like royalty or a noble. She could see that everything Twilight did was thought out and was ten step ahead of everyone else.
Then came her eyes, what caused the change? What happened in the two years the mare was gone? Just who was Twilight Sparkle now?
"Pinkie dear you're staring." Pinkie heard but then that was another thing that changed about her.
Her speech was that of a mare from a noble or royal family as well with a hint of her old self. She's become playful and flirtatious to those around her and even to her friends and from what Pinkie saw earlier she wasn't shy anymore with things like sex and kissing in public. Just who was this mare now?
"Pinkie are you ok?" She asked snapping the mare out of her thoughts.
"Oh um I'm ok I was just thinking of how much you changed over the last two years." She said getting a smile from her.
"Ah well I hope it's not any bad thoughts?" She asked looking over at her with a smile that just made Pinkie feel warm inside.
'What am I feeling?'
"No it's not that it just different is all, I guess you can say that I expected you to come back the same as when you left. But the Twilight I knew anyway was a lie to begin with wasn't it?" She asked looking over at Twilight as she took a calm sip of her tea.
"Yes she was. But Pinkie you have to understand that what I did for a living for my former clan was not something you just discussed out of the blue over a bit of tea with all your friends." She said taking another sip before setting the cup down and looked right into Pinkie's eye with her seemingly glowing red eye.
"Answer me truthfully Pinkie and I'll know if you’re lying or not, I've gotten very good at spotting them over the years since before we all became friends. What would you have thought of me if I told you I was a assassin for a dragon clan and have killed over 400 beings during my time in the clan?" She asked while Pinkie paled and looked down.
"I- I don't know. I guess I would have thought you were joking at first but knowing the truth now? I just don't know Twilight." She said looking up to see her still looking at her.
"You would have feared me." She stated as Pinkie's eyes went wide and started to protest.
"No I-
"You and all our friends would’ve feared me, it's also why I left because you did. That's why we all got distant and even now I can see the fear in your eyes, you fear me like I would kill you in your sleep if given the order to. Don't you Pinkie?" She asked that eye boring into her soul daring her to lie to her face.
"I-I, yes I do." She whimpered as Twilight sighed and sat back in her chair.
"I suppose that it's to be expected, it's why I put on the nerd face and seemed to love books so much. Don't get me wrong I love my books but not to the extent of loosing sleep over them." She smiled and looked over at the still silent mare.
"Come on Pinkie lets get you home and into bed, you've had a very eye opening experience today. Do you want me to walk with you home?" She asked but the mare shook her head getting a nod from Twilight.
"Very well be careful home ok?" She asked as the shell shocked mare walked out the door and towards her home. Once she rounded the corner Twilight closed and locked her door before taking to the roof tops to make sure her friend made it home ok.
Twilight landed on her balcony after making sure that Pinkie got home ok just as it started to get a little darker outside. She made her way in and saw the Gilda was still sound asleep making her smile and padded over giving the griffon a kiss on the forehead making her smile in her sleep.
Twilight walked down the steps to find to her surprise Princess Cadence sipping tea with her brother.
"Got to say Twilly really spruced the place up since the last time I saw her." Shining said.
"Mhmm and this tea is very good." Cadence said taking another sip.
"You know it's rude to take what's not your's correct? You taught me that yourself Cadence." Twilight said making them jump and would have spilt the tea if Twilight hadn't grabbed the tea and cups out of the air and bringing the it over to her pouring it into the cup and taking a sip with a smile.
"Hey that was my tea." Shining and Cadence whined as she smiled wider at them.
"No it's my tea that I'm takin back, my favorite tea at that." Twilight corrected as the two pouted before Shining smiled getting up and walking over to hug his sister.
"It's good to see you again sis." Shining said when he finally noticed the eye and eyepatch.
"Twilly what happened?" He asked as she sighed.
"Sorry BB it's personal."
"Twilight you know that you can tell us anything, we're family." Cadence said as Twilight sighed and her eye glazed over for a second before she blinked and shook her head.
"Sorry guys but I don't think You're ready to know and I don't want to risk you hating me for this." She said pointing to her eye.

"Just drop it Shining, I don't want to talk about it. For now what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?" She asked as they looked at each other.
"Well then tell us what you have been up to all this time, Aunt Tia and Luna said that you disappeared after you brought their journals to them 2 years ago. What have you been doing?" Cadence asked as Twilight smiled.
"I traveled the world with mom and dad even found love." Twilight said as Cadence squealed and pulled her into a hug while Shining glared.
"Who is he?" He growled getting a smile from Twilight.
"Well SHE is Gilda a griffon and could kick your ass from one side of Equestria to the other without breaking a sweat." Twilight said as he looked at her shocked.
"Your dating a griffon?" He asked as she looked at him a little upset.
"Um yeah is that a problem?" She asked as he shook his head quickly at the two mares glare.
"No, no, no, no. Not at all I was just surprised is all Twi." He said with his hands up surrendering getting a smile from his little sister.
"I'm glad you're ok with us BB." Twilight said just as the door opened and out walked Gilda in one of Twilights loose shirts and booty shorts making Shining blush at the griffon.
"Hey babe." She yawned.
"Hey hot stuff, you hungry? I just started cooking your steak and pork chops." She said as Shining and Cadence looked at each other when they heard the sound of something sizzle in the kitchen and looked back at Twilight.
"Sure I'm starving, you really made me work up an appetite." She said just as her stomach growled.
"Oh and hello prince and princess." Gilda said bowing a little to the pair while Cadence beamed at the griffon.
"It's good to meet you Gilda I'm sure that Twilight has told a little about the both of us?" Cadence asked as Gilda smiled.
"Just the embarrassing things." She smiled while the two blushed and looked at the mare.
"What we were telling stories around a campfire and mom and dad brought up that time you slammed into a wall on the way to boot camp staring at Cadence." Twilight giggled.
As the four talked about the past two years over dinner while it got dark out Twilight sighed patting her stuffed belly.
"Dinner was great babe." Gilda said taking Twilight's plate with hers along with Shinings and Cadences.
"Thanks hun." Twilight replied getting up and walking over to her chair and plopping down.
"I got to say sis that was really good, though I didn't expect you to eat some of the meat as well." He said sound a little disturbed while Twilight giggled.
"Don't worry big brother it's just part of my condition is all. Now I love that you guys stopped by but we have to get up early for training and work so I'll see you guys later ok?" She asked getting up and leading them to the door.
"Ok Twilight, we'll be in touch ok?" Cadence said getting a nod from the mare as she closed the door and turned just as she was slammed into the wall by Gilda.
"So tell me babe what did I miss after I was sent to bed?" She asked nibbling on Twilights neck making her giggle and moan.
"Just her wanting to catch up and to tell me some mare was looking for me never did get who it was though." She said before tripping and slamming Gilda into the ground hearing her growl.
"So little bird tell me what are your plans for tomorrow?" She asked just when she was flipped over and pounced on by the griffon getting a squeal from Twilight who started to laugh.
"Well that depends on after training I was thinking of actually talking to Fluttershy, well try to anyway." She said before being flipped over and Twilight held her down biting into her shoulder getting a pur out of the griffon.
"AH! Why what are you thinking?" She rolling Twilight who was still clamped onto her shoulder before pulling back to answer with a bit of blood on her lips.
"Well I was thinking of after training we could just spend a day together and head over to the forest and explore the old castle." She said looking down at Gilda who was thinking before popping up and slammed her into the wall they were beside.
" That sounds like a plan I can always try to talk to your friends later tomorrow, I know that you have some plans to do yourself and I know you're going to be summoned to Canterlot tomorrow to talk with the princesses." Gilda stated while her claws dug into Twilights sides getting a hiss out of the mare.
"This is true, I expect them to call sometime in the morning or early afternoon at the latest." She said pushing Gilda away and pinning her to the floor.
"So while I'm gone are you going to be making nice with the girls?" She asked getting a smile from the griffon.
"Might as well, I think that your friend Pinkie is jealous of me or something with the way she was glaring at me the entire time." She said as Twilight let her up.
"Don't worry they just have to get to know the you I know. I'm sure once they do you guys will be great friends." She said feeling the griffons tail wrap around her and then a sharp pain as she sunk her beak into her shoulder making her moan loudly before she bit down hard on Gildas shoulder.
The two moaned as their eyes glowed red before they pulled back and smiled at each other.
"Come on babe lets go take a bath and get to bed." She said picking the griffon up and taking them upstairs.
(2 weeks later)
Twilight sighed as she walked down the main street of Ponyville heading to her favorite grove in the Everfree. She had a few treats with her for the animals that lived there and a nice roast for the manticore family that lived there.
The last two weeks had been pretty hectic with Gilda going back home for some paperwork with her father there and Twilight stayed to tend to the library while she was gone. Not only that but Rainbow came back from the Wonderbolts for a vacation, that it was a bad thing she was happy her friend was back but when Dash started to flirt with her she just felt awkward.
Twilight really didn't see her friend in that way and besides it never would have worked out since word from the grape vine was the she was talking to Soarin and Fleetfoot.
But the worst was when Dash found out that she was seeing her old friend Gilda and was furious at her.
(Flashback)
"WHAT!!??"
"No need to yell Dash, and you heard me I'm dating Gilda. You got a problem with that?" She asked glaring at her with her glowing red eye as Rainbow glared back with her magenta eyes.
"Hell yeah I have a problem with it! After what she did to our friends how could you date her!?" Dash yelled as Twilight sighed and leaned back in her chair summoning a cup of herbal tea to her.
"She's changed after 5 years Dash, besides it's not up to you who I date. I love Gilda and would do anything for her. She was given my parents blessing when she asked me out and I think if Gilda can get my FATHERS blessing then I think that she's something special." Twilight spoke calmly as the mare growled in front of her.
"Well I know how Gilda is, there is no way that she would go out with someone like you and her feeling be real." Rainbow said as Twilight calmly set her tea down and crossed her left leg over her right and clasped her hands in her lap before looking at Rainbow with her red eye that betrayed no feelings.
"What do you mean someone like me?" Twilight asked her voice carrying a certain edge to it.
"I mean a bookworm and pony at that like you. You're more of the nerdy type Twi than an athlete like Gilda. No offence." She said as Twilight sighed and leaned back in her chair.
"Dash do you not remember what I was and am to this day?" She asked glaring at the mare who winced at the look.
"I'm an assassin born and bred to kill and carry out dangerous missions for my clan and the princesses. I am a tool used to bring peace to the nation and eliminate any threats to the clan. My creed is clan and nation. Which means my clan's needs come before the nations unless it conflicts my personal feelings." She said as Dash looked down before landing and crossing her arms with a glare.
"Ok but you're still not her type Twi, if you're this badass assassin then there is no way that Gilda would go with you if your job is killing people." She said as Twilight smiled.
"Well when she moans my name each time were alone tells me differently." She smirked as the mare gaped at her.
"What?"
"Dash how long do you think Gilda and I have been together? 2 or 3 weeks? No we've been together for almost 2 years! So whatever you THINK you know about my griffon is old intel and you will see the next time you come home and she's here." She said getting up and heading to the door.
"Now it was good seeing you Dash but I think you've overstayed your welcome." Twilight said as Rainbow looked up a little shocked at what her friend was saying.
"Twilight I-
"I won't say it again Dash, please leave my house or I will use force." She said with a smile on her face but her eye told a different story as they held a rage in them that honestly scared Dash.
"Ok."
(End Flashback)
Twilight sighed as she made it through the forest and to the small grove setting her things down as some of the critters came out of their dens when she heard a yipe and low growl come from the nearby cave as a family of Manticores came out as the younger cubs bounced out to see Twilight and what she may have brought them.
"Hello. I hope you like what I brought you, a few roasts for you and the little ones." Twilight said pulling the large roasts out and throwing them to the family as they attacked it tearing it apart before they trotted over to her while she walked on top of the water going through her katas.
It was several hours later when Twilight sighed and sank into the pond letting the cool water sooth her hot body.
SPLASH!
Twilight turned and laughed looking at one of the pups from the manticore family swimming up to her as she came to him and scooped him up as he shivered a little till Twilight raised her body heat warming the pond as he started to purr.
"Hey buddy you want to swim with me?" She asked as the little guy purred as Twilight smiled and back stroked as he stayed on her stomach looking around before she swam to the edge and got out with him in her arms while she dried the two off and let him go to his family.
"I'll see you guys later." She said scratching each one behind the ears getting a pur from them all.
"I'll see you guys next time." She said gathering her things just as a group of stallions walked into the clearing with smirks on their faces.
"Hello beautiful."
"Hello can I help you?" she asked as they eyed her body making her frown.
"Oh I think you can." One said as she growled when the two manticores stepped up beside her making her smile.
"Don't worry, trash like them will never touch me." She said as the manticores left for their home with one last growl to the intruders.
"You should have kept your pets little girl." One of them said but stopped when she looked at him with her glowing red eye as they felt the air shift around the becoming hotter with each passing second when a shock wave went off from her blowing the stallions off their hooves.
Twilight blurred out of view appearing in front of one with her sharp teeth shining in the sunlight as that was the last the stallion ever saw when she slammed her fist through his skull splattering blood on her clothes.
"YOU BITCH-GAK!" He looked down to see the same mare with her arm through his chest holding his heart in her hand before she crushed it in her hand splattering blood all over the area.
"What are you?!"
"Your personal reaper." He heard but wasn't able to turn as his world went black.
"RUN! ITS A DEMON!!" Twilight smirked as she turned to see the last three running.
"Enjoy the meal my friends." She called over to the manticores and disappeared.
Twilight appeared in front of the three with a smirk on her face while her eye gave off an ominous glow.
"MERCY!"
"Rats like you will never have any from me." She said speeding towards them as they screamed in fear.
Not long after Twilight exited the forest with a smile on her face.
"Wonder if Gil made it home yet?" She asked flicking the blood off her arm.
Twilight made it to the tree and smiled seeing her griffon floating around looking for a book.
"Welcome home hun." Twilight said as the griffon turned and gave a fanged smile before she saw the blood on her arm getting a wider smile.
"Aww you went to the grove without me and got to have some fun." She said her eyes flashing red while Twilight grinned.
"Sorry just a group of rapists is all found out they were slave traders before I destroyed it and took the slaves to the edge of the forest. I'm sure their families are going to be happy to see them." She said feeling the arms of her lover around her.
"Mm I love your scent after a fight." Gilda said nibbling on her neck as Twilight giggled before a moan escaped her when she felt Gilda lick her neck.
"I want you love." She whispered just when the someone knocked on the door making them groan and pull back from the other.
Twilight sighed and opened the door to find Lyra of all ponies at the door with a smile on her face.
"Hey Twilight!" She chirped as Gilda wrapped her arms around Twilight.
"Hey Lyra can I help you?" She asked as the mare smiled at them.
"Your last name is Sparkle right?" She asked as Gilda gathered her chi in her tail while Twilight's body tensed.
"Yea why?" She asked as Lyra smiled wider.
"Thats all I needed to know." She said reaching into her jacket when she was on the end of one of Twilight's supercharged fists while Gilda's tail went through her chest but then fazed away getting the two quickly on guard.
"Wow I'm glad I thought ahead." The looked across the street to see Lyra standing there with her arms crossed and a smile on her face.
Twilight and Gilda squared off against the mare as she jumped back and held her hands up.
"Whoa whoa chill! I don't want to die by my masters hands over a misunderstanding." She said smiling while the two glared at her.
"Look I have a letter from my clan that serves yours and I was selected to guard you along with your family." She said slowly reaching inside her jacket and pulled out a scroll and held it out for them.
"I also have one from your parents that approve of me being assigned to you." She said bowing while other ponies gapped at them as she grabbed another scroll and held it out.
"Hm these are legit, that's my families seal. So you're from the Heartstrings clan hm?" Twilight asked as Lyra looked up to see her holding the two scrolls.
'I didn't even feel her move.' She thought.
"Yes mistress." She said getting a groan from Twilight.
"Please don't call me that, just Twilight would do." She said as Lyra nodded.
"I don't trust her Twi." Gilda growled before Twilight flicked her break.
"Hun she's the real deal and she's here to watch our backs." Twilight said while Gilda growled.
"We can watch our own backs. Who's to say that she's not a assassin?" Gilda pointed out.
"Show me your mark Lyra or you will die here." Twilight growled
"Ok." She stated and turned around channeling magic into her neck while lifting her hair to show a star with a spiked ring around it making Twilight smile as Gilda grunted.
"See she's clean." Twilight said nudging Gilda side making her smile and nudge back.
"I see that but can you blame me for being cautious?" She asked as Twilight smiled and shook her head.
"Nah that's why I love you hun." She said hugging the griffon.
"So where do you want me to bunk down at?" Lyra asked.
"Do you have a place here in Ponyville?" Twilight asked getting a nod from Lyra.
"Yeah I live with Bonbon a few blocks down from here." She said as the couple nodded.
"Just stay there and you can come with us for training in the morning." Gilda said as she went wide eyed.
"But how am I gonna protect you if I'm so far away?" She asked starting to panic while Twilight gave a calming smile.
"Lyra I'm a big girl and a master of my families style along with the Reaper clan styles. So you don't need to worry about me and Gilda we can handle ourselves but I'll tell you what if you still feel strongly about this in the morning then we'll see what we can do." She said as Lyra sighed but bowed.
"Ok Twilight. I'll respect your wishes but I do this under protest." She stated as Twilight nodded.
"Noted. Now is there anything else you need to tell me?" Twilight asked as Lyra pulled out one last scroll.
"Sorry just remembered but your parents told me to deliver this to you." She said walking over to Twilight and handed her a scroll.
"Thank you Lyra." She said opening the scroll and groaned.

"What's it say Twi?" Gilda asked as Twilight smiled.
"Well Lyra go pack your things, you can have Spikes old room." She said as Lyra nodded and flashed away with a big smile on her face.
"What else does it say babe?" Gil asked as Twilight sighed.
"Well Prince Wahid wants to talk to me, most likely for a marriage proposal. Princess Yuhi wants to talk to me about something along with the king and queen of Britania. Then the Duke of Germaney wants to hire us as an escort to the dragon kingdom for something and we might run a chance of coming across my old clan." She groaned as Gilda wrapped her arms around her when a thud slammed in behind the making them turn to see Lyra smiling with a huge bag over her shoulder.
"Is this everything?" Twilight asked getting a nod from Lyra with a smile.
"Yes ma'am!" She said as Twilight sighed.
"Ok well go ahead and start to unpack after I show you where you're staying." Twilight said getting a nod from Lyra.
After a few hours of helping Lyra with her things while she tried to say she could do it herself Twilight and Gilda still helped her move her things especially her bed and dresser.
After a while Twilight had Lyra join them in the hot tub as she blushed and squeaked but did as she was told.
"So tell me Lyra how come you never came to me before now?" Twilight asked as Lyra fidgeted.
"I wanted to but your parents ordered me not to since they wanted to keep the clan a secret since they thought that you didn't care about none of that. While the FAMILY is large the actual clan itself is really small with only the best fighters in the main family while branch clans like mine are used as bodyguards to important members of the clan. With you as the newest member and most powerful in the clan history I'm very honored to had been handpicked to guard you." She said smiling while Twilight nodded with a small smile herself leaning into Gilda.
"What do think hun of our new bodyguard?" She asked as Gilda looked a little surprised to be put on the spot and looked at the expectant eyes of Lyra.
"Well until I know how good she is in a fight I'll withhold my judgement." She said as Lyra and Twilight nodded.
"Very well we'll begin training tomorrow in taijutsu and ninjutsu." Twilight said getting up and heading to bed with Gilda while Lyra sighed and sunk into the water.
'Why do I get the feeling I'm going to have a huge headache by the end of tomorrow?' She thought blowing bubbles.
(Next day.)
Twilight had Lyra on her back carrying her as the mare groaned while her friend Bonbon was yelling her for fighting.
"AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT WHEN I SAW YOU FLY THROUGH THE AIR I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO DIE!!" She poor mare yelled as tears went down her face.
"Bonbon please stop yelling it was only training. Besides I was going against two of the head members of the Sparkle Clan of course I was going to be beat badly." Lyra moaned as Gilda pat her on the back.
"You did great today Lyra I really didn't expect you to last that long against both of us." Gilda smiled as the mare groaned.
"Well you two would have destroyed me if I had stood my ground, the only reason it lasted so long was because I can dodge really well." She said groaning as she rubbed her back where she landed on the ground HARD from getting hit by one of Twilights axe kicks.
"Sorry I might have gone overboard near the end there." Twilight confessed.
"But don't worry once we get home then we'll get you patched up and healed. Twilight is amazing with medical magic." Gilda stated just as they rounded the corner to see much to Twilights annoyance Prince Blueblood at her door.
"Ugh what the hell does he want?" Twilight asked just as the prince saw them and smiled.
"Good day Lady Sparkle." He greeted as Twilight walked past him giving a small bow.
"Morning Prince Blueblood, what do I owe for such a surprise visit?" She asked as he followed catching up beside the mares.
"Well my lady I've been having some issues with a few of the more... common thugs that are vandalizing my shops and it seems that any peaceful solutions have fallen through, talks and bits haven't swayed them and I wish to ask for your services." He said as they entered her house.
"What's the job Blueblood? If it's to kill some innocent person just so you can further your goals find another assassin." She said setting Lyra down on the couch while Bonbon went wide eyed.
"No, no, no, I assure you that these are mobsters and the shop I'm trying to set up is a police station in Hornsberry. The locals are being run into a depression and whatever aid I send as far as money to the officials are seized by the mob, please the people of the town need some kind of law there and before I can send any soldiers or police I need evidence of the officials that are corrupt." He sighed and watched with amazement as Lyra's wounds were healed by Twilights glowing purple hands.
"Incredible." He breathed.
"Why the change of heart Prince Blueblood? I thought you only looked out for yourself?" Twilight asked as he snorted.
"Please, just because one of your friends didn't catch my eye and then goes out of her way to slander my name doesn't mean I'm not a gentlecolt." He said as Twilight raised her eyebrow at him.
" Truly I am sorry for the gala those years ago but you have to understand, I was not in the mood to be some fillies dashing prince after the news I had that came to my attention with some of my spies in more of the remote towns in Equestria. I'm not some pompous little colt that has a chip on my shoulder just because I'm the nephew of Celestia and Luna." He said getting a eye roll from Gilda.
"I don't care what you think of me but what I do care about is whether or not you will help these towns folk and I can finish my job and bring order to this wild western town. These people have been suffering under a tyrant for the last 2 years and I can't get the backing I need to flush them out, so that leaves me little choice than to come to you and hire your team." He said as Twilight thought it over.
"Let me see what you got." She said while he handed her a folder out of his suit and started to read over it. One thing was for sure and that was Blueblood had more than enough evidence to send in the troops, so the question was why come to her?
"Ok Blueblood spill I can see even with just this folder that you have enough information to send in a battalion of troops to the area. Why come to me?" She asked getting a sigh from him.
"The truth is my dear is that I fear that my own establishment has been corrupted and I don't trust any of my people, one of your branch clans that are very hard to find and contact are looking into the matter now. So I came to you in person to seek your help." He said while Twilight nodded.
"Very well Blueblood but I have to ask why put Rarity through all that at the gala?" Blueblood sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair.
"To be honest I didn't want to seem rude and blowing her off and I figured that some company would do me good. But your friend wanted something more that I wasn't willing to give her and the way she seemed to cling to me was just a huge turn off, not only that but when I tried to excuse myself and make a quick exit she followed me. So I had to take drastic measures to get my point across that she wasn't my type." He said getting a nod from Twilight.
"Hm well that does explain a few things but really you shoved her in front of a cake?" She asked as he gave a sheepish smile.
"I saw my chance to be rid of her and I took it, though I do feel very bad about ruining her dress." He said getting a nod from Twilight.
"Did you ever try to apologize?" She asked getting a nod from him.
"Every time I see her in Canterlot I try but she huffs and takes off down the road." He groaned getting a small smirk from the mares.
"Sounds like Rarity, now on to business." Twilight stated as the group went over the plan while Bonbon tried to talk Lyra into not going.
(Hornsberry, 1am.)
Twilight and her team sighed after the last of the mob goons fell. Twilight looked around when she spotted Lyra dragging in a corpse and holding the head.
"Hey I got him, little bastard tried to get away in his car." She said as the two smiled.
"Well I'll call our contact and let him know that the job is done." She said just when a group of thugs burst into the room.
[Hello.]
"Sorry to call you so early but the job is done." She said waving her hand to the thugs who started to fire at them.
[I see thank you on the matter my lady.]
"No problem." She said hanging up and disappeared in a burst of speed as the group started to scream in fright when they were being slaughtered by the three.
Twilight moved in bringing her sword to bear pumping her magic in it and fire erupted around it just as she cut through three of them while the fire engulfed them turning them to ash.
"AHHHHH!"
Twilight smiled at the cold look on Lyra's face while she cut through the ranks of the enemy. Twilight turned and brought her heel down crushing a thug's head in a shower of gore and turned grabbing another by the throat and broke his neck with a simple flick of the wrist.
Gilda smiled at her lover as she shoved her claw through one's chest tossing the body into a group that charged her knocking them down as she took to the air and dived into them impaling a limb through each of their chests while her tail went through the forehead of one that tried to sneak up on her.
Lyra smirked as she cut a goon in half kicking one end into a stallion while she kicked the other into a minotaur knocking them both off their feet with the force of the blows. She had her short and long sword in a reverse grip and shot off in a blur of motion cracking the pavement as she started to cut through another group that was coming into the building just when Twilight and Gilda joined her.
