An Awkward Reunion
Spirit walked nervously through Ponyville. A letter in her mailbox that morning was brief, but it said all she needed to know.
Dear Sprit,
For some time now, you have been living among the residents of a town called “Ponyville”. We believe that such an illustrious member of the Cloudsdale Weather Corporation deserves better than a life as a teacher of little colts and fillies. We hereby invite you to an open spot on Ponyville’s weather team. Please be advised that while you may decline this offer, know this: We can make the pain stop. Please report to Miss Dash at the Field office ASAP. With all due Respect,

Upon reading the letter, she shivered. It had been nearly a year since she had left her old post at the CWC, and she never regretted it. Not once. Now though, as she walked up to the door of the field office, she was second-guessing herself. What if they actually did have the way to fix me? Spirit pondered as she waited for the door to open. When it finally did, she was greeted by a most unexpected sight. There, in front of her, was Rainbow Dash. THE Rainbow Dash. Manager of the Spectra Division. And one of the only ponies in Equestria who knew what Spirit had done. Spirit stared, at a loss for words as she tried to comprehend the sight in front of her. What was Rainbow, most successful Pegasus in Cloudsdale, doing in a town like Ponyville? Her question was answered as Dash looked away from the two ponies seated in front of her to address Spirit.
“Well, how nice of you to join us, Spirit. We were just discussing your career under my wing,” Rainbow dash said with an evil grin that would put Discord to shame. Stunned, Spirit only complied as she walked to the third and final chair in RD’s office before sitting down heavily.
“Now then, I take it you all read your letters? Tell me, what are you willing to give for the cure?”, RD said, an evil glint in her eyes…
