The Story of Stardust Shine

The next day of school, I'm still thinking about Crossbow and Flaming Ruby, TOGETHER. Why Crossbow would even be with her is what I don't understand. When I walk into the school, WHAM! When I open my eyes, I'm both surprised and slightly embarrassed.

"Sorry, Are you alright?" It's Crossbow.

"I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You look like you've been crying."

It's true. I cried until I fell asleep last night, and cried a bit on my way to school.

A wave of anger and irritation washes over me. "I TOLD YOU I'M FINE!" I get that weird, evil feeling again. Then the feeling leaves again. I realize my muzzle is touching his. I knew he was trying to help me. I start blushing, a LOT. What surprises me is how he starts blushing too. I pull away quickly. Out of the corner of my eye I see Flaming Ruby. But I really don't care. I'm actually kinda happy I got that close to Crossbow. All of a sudden, "Hm?" I'm suddenly levitating by a blue magic aura. It's not me though. My magic aura is green.

"What do you think you're doing?!"

I blink a few times. "Huh?"

"You can't stay near Crossbow. Flaming Ruby could really hurt you." It's a mare with a snow white coat and a bubblegum pink mane held up by a red hair-tie.

I roll my eyes slightly. "She already has." I turn around. "Hey, what's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Scissor String." She smiles.

RRRRRRIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!

"There's the bell. I guess we better head to class. See you later!" I start walking to class.

The teacher starts to introduce me. "Welcome to your fifth period class. I am Ms. Burst." (That stands for Color Burst.) "We have a new student joining us today. Stardust Shine."

"Hi?" I look around the class for Crossbow. I find him. Sitting in the front middle table with Flaming Ruby and her friends.
