The Pet Bet

“I bet I could prank twice as many ponies as you,” Rainbow Dash said confidently.

“Oh yeah?” Pinkie Pie asked in mock defiance.

“Yeah, how about we have a little wager? Name your stakes Pinkie Pie,” Rainbow Dash challenged. Pinkie Pie rubbed her chin as she thought for a long moment.

“How about the looser has to do whatever the winner says for a whole week!” Pinkie Pie said enthusiastically as she jumped in the air.

“You are so on!” Rainbow said with a grin. The two mares shook hooves, however Rainbow Dash was met with an uncomfortable shock. Pinkie Pie rolled on the grass laughing.

“Well, it looks like that’s one for me!” the pink mare said as she skipped away joyfully.

“Hey, that's not fair! Rainbow Dash called after the pink mare as she tried to suppress a smile.

The week was filled with the sound of laughter and whoopee cushions. No pony was safe from Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie’s pranks. Every apple was painted and every letter sent was in invisible ink.

“Ready to compare results?” Rainbow Dash asked smugly

“You betcha!” Pinkie Pie joyfully replied.

“ I was able to prank 12 ponies. Beat that Pinkie Pie!” Rainbow Dash said confidently.

“Wow! Good job Dashie! That sure is a lot of pranks, but not as much as me,” Pinkie said in a sing-song like  voice.” I was able to prank 27 ponies and one zebra,” she said with a small chuckle.

“ 27 ponies?” Rainbow Dash asked in amazement.She could not comprehend pulling that many ponies in such a small amount of time. Rainbow Dash stared at Pinkie Pie with her mouth open wide in disbelief. Rainbow Dash suddenly realized what this meant. “ You mean...I lost?”

“Yup, and starting tomorrow, you have to do whatever I say for a whole week! This is going to be so much fun! Well, I have to get to Sugar cube Corner, those desserts aren't going to bake themselves! See you tomorrow Dashie!” Pinkie Pie said with a beaming smile as she bounced off. Rainbow Dash could do nothing but sit there with her mouth gaping open in astonishment.

Rainbow Dash flew to Sugar Cube Corner the next day with mixed feelings about the week to come. There was no telling what Pinkie Pie would have her do. Pinkie Pie was unpredictable, that was part of her charm. Rainbow Dash did not know what was going to be in store for her for the next seven days, but she knew that they certainly were not going to be ordinary. Rainbow Dash was greeted at the bakery door by Pinkie Pie bouncing up and down in the doorway energetically.
