Starswirl Academy

The girls were awoken in the middle of the night by a loud knock at the door.

"TWILIGHT!!!!" Came a cry, "Hurry up! Please!"

The girls got out of bed and Twilight opened the door, and Vinyl pulled Twilight into their room. It was messy, with clothes everywhere and Coke and Sprite cans everywhere. But that isn't what Twilight was looking at, she was looking at Starswirl, once again.

"You sure are enjoying visiting us." Twilight said with confidence, looking straight at Starswirl.

"I sure am. You folks are pure entertainment. But... there's one thing..." Starswirl closed his eyes and chuckled, and when he opened them, he was showing off his sharp teeth and his eyes glew a dark red, "I like the food better!"

He went straight for Octavia, who was hiding under a bunk bed, comforting Derpy. Bon Bon, Lyra and Vinyl screamed as Octavia was grabbed by the monster.

"Don't you dare!" Vinyl screamed, and tried to knock Octavia from his grasp.

"Applejack! Get my ghost thing!" Twilight demanded, and Applejack threw it at Twilight, who missed the catch and it knocked Vinyl to the floor.

"Sorry!" Yelled Applejack from the corridor. By this time, many people had awoken and there was a crowd outside the dorm room.

Vinyl got up and threw the ghost hunter machine at Twilight, who luckily caught it this time, and aimed it at Starswirl. She tried to catch him, but the machine would not work. Octavia screamed desperatly when she noticed the machine was not working, and Starswirl began to laugh.

"Get off!" Derpy demanded, getting out rom under the bed, and she leaped up and grabbed Octavia, and they both fell to the floor.

Twilight was baffled and was checking the machine. It had no chips, it was beeping because a ghost was near... so why didn't it catch Starswirl?

Berry Punch was in the corridor, and Starswirl grabbed her and ripped off her head with his teeth. Everyone screamed and ran off in hope of escape, and Twilight invited Bon Bon, Lyra, Vinyl, Octavia and Derpy into their dorm. It was crowded, but they were safe.

"Guys, get some sleep. It's like, 2am." Dashie sighed, and she climbed into bed.

The girls all went to sleep, the guests sleeping at the other end of the bed as others, but Twilight stayed up and sat in the bathroom, as she needed light and didn't want to disturb the others.

"Dear Celestia,

I greatly appreciate the ghost machine, but you see, I think it has broken. It did not catch Starswirl!"

Twilight read her letter out as she wrote it, and filled it with the events that had happened. She didn't know how to send it as nobody had shown her where the post office was.

"Twilight?" Asked a soft, tired voice. Twilight turned around.

"What are you doing awake?" Asked Twilight.

"I could ask you the same thing." Fluttershy rubbed her eyes and sat on the bathroom floor, next to Twilight.

"I am trying to work out what is wrong with this machine." Twilight replied. She examined the machine closely.

"Maybe it isn't supposed to catch the ghost. Maybe it just finds them." Fluttershy suggested.

"That could be correct." Twilight mumbled, deep in thought. Then she looked up. "You seem too calm about this situation."

"I'm trying not to lose my head." Fluttershy replied with a giggle.

"I see." Twilight got back to examining the machine.

Fluttershy looked at Twilight with sad eyes. "But I can't help. I just can't. I'm terrified."

"You know, I'm surprised that Starswirl didn't chose you." Twilight didn't look up, but carried on turning the machine this way and that.

"I am glad he did not... though I wish he hadn't chose Rarity. I'd rather it be me then Rarity..." Fluttershy mumbled, and she stood up. "I shall go back to bed now."

"Goodnight." Twilight still didn't look up.

"Happy Saturday everybody~!" Sung Pinkie at 10am.

"For crying out loud, Pinkie Pie! Do you have any clue what the time is?!" Dashie roared.

"Of course I do! It's time to get up, sleepy heads! I have a brilliant day planned for us!" Pinkie grinned.

"Like what?" Vinyl asked, rubbing her eyes and sitting up.

Pinkie Pie got out her pink notebook and opened it at a certian page.

"1. We are going to get breakfast!
Duh! Becase we have a brilliant day planned!

1. We are going to play tennis!
   Doesn't that sound fun? Because if you look outside, it's so sunny!

2. We are going for a swim!
   You know, to cool off because of the heat and tennis and stuff!

3. Do whatever and relax because...

4. Party starts at 8pm!
   Fun, right!!!???" Pinkie exclaimed.

"Yeah. I guess." Dashie sighed, getting up and making her bed.

"May I ask if we are joining?" Octavia asked.

"Yesyesyes! You are!" Pinkie grinned.

They took showers and got dressed.

Everybody got dressed into sporty clothes. Twilight wore purple tennis shorts and purple tank top and purple trainers and white socks, and Dash wore the same outfit in blue, except she had white socks too. Rarity wore a light purple tennis skirt and white polo and white socks and purple trainers, and Pinkie had the same outfit but her skirt was pink and her top and trainers were yellow. Fluttershy wore a white tank top and yellow tennis skirt and yellow sandals.

"You can't wear sandals, Fluttershy! They'll fall off!" Dashie told her.

"Well, I'm not wearing trainers, it's too hot." Fluttershy replied.

"Here, darling. Have my special shoes. They are like trainers, but made of thin material! Best of all, they match your outfit!" Rarity smiled.

"Thank you, Rarity!" Fluttershy smiled, taking the shoes and putting them on.

Applejack wore orange shorts and an orange short sleeved jacket with a white polo under it. She wore orange trainers and white socks. Derpy wore a yellow skirt and grey polo with grey trainers and yellow trainer socks, chosen by Octavia. Octavia wore a grey skirt and purple polo, with purple socks and grey trainers. Vinyl wore white shorts and a blue tank top, with blue trainers and white socks. Bon Bon wore a yellow skort and blue polo and yellow trainers and white trainers. Her polo had a sweet pattern on it, and Rarity didn't like her outfit too much, but gave it a compliment anyway. Lyra wore a mint coloured skirt and golden tank top and wore them with mint coloured crocs, which Rarity had a nice laugh at.

They all wore swimsuits or bikinis under their outfits, the colour of their so it wouldn't look too embarassing if somepony saw a strap by accident. They brushed their hair and teeth and washed their faces, and went off to the Food Hall.

Everyone had cereal this morning. It was either cornflakes or coco pops. There wasn't much conversation, and even Pinkie seemed quiet. They all went outside when they had finished eating, and sat on the empty tennis courts, letting their breakfast settle before they did sports.

They were sat in a circle, and then Pinkie had an idea.

"Let's play a game..." Pinkie got her water bottle and spun it.

"I am not playing this." Sighed Bon Bon.

"Oh, please." Octavia rolled her eyes. "It's the truth or dare version."

"It is?" Asked Pinkie, and the girls all stared at her, and Pinkie collapsed in laughter. "Gotcha!"

The girls played for a good half hour, mostly taking truths and most of the dares being passed or called stupid. Then they played tennis.

The weather was boiling hot, and Twilight and Vinyl and Lyra were already sweating. They got in pairs. Applejack and Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Vinyl, Octavia and Twilight, Bon Bon and Lyra, Pinkie and Derpy, and Rarity refused to play sports, and sat under a tree.

"If you didn't want to play, why did you get all dressed up in sports stuff?" Asked Applejack.

"Because this skirt is wonderfully cute." Rarity smiled, and sipped at her water bottle.

Octavia and Twilight were against Applejack and Rainbow Dash whilst Bon Bon and Lyra were against Pinkie and Derpy, and Fluttershy and Vinyl sat with Rarity.

"Seriously? You couldn't of made the teams more fair?" Asked Twilight.

"We're invinsible!" Laughed Rainbow Dash, high fiving Applejack.

"I don't think so." Octavia flicked her fringe to the side and got ready to play.

"She's right, you know. She's won so many championships." Vinyl told everyone.

The game started, and for a while tennis balls flew from side to side.

By the end of the game, Lyra and Bon Bon had lost as they had given Derpy and Pinkie a fair chance, and Octavia and Twilight won to Rainbow Dash and Applejack.

"Applejack! This is your fault!" Rainbow yelled.

"No it ain't, sugarcube.They are just good players." Applejack shok hands with the two girls, and said 'Good Game'.

"I didn't know you could play that well!" Twilight smiled.

"I have many talents." Octavia winked at Twilight and laughed.

Rarity played songs on her phone whilst the girls played. At the end of the matches, Octavia and Twilight ended up winning, Rainbow and AJ were second.

The girls all went for a drink of lemonade as the heat had got them sweating like mad. Or as Applejack put it - 'Sweatier then a pig on butcher's day'. Whatever that meant.

By this time everyone was laughing and joking, except Dashie who was in a serious strop.

The girls all went to the school pool, which once again, had nobody in it.

"Where is everyone today?" Asked Pinkie.

The girls took their clothes off and dived right into the pool in their costumes. They had fun splashing around and jumping into the pool.

"Boo!" Roared Pinkie, jumping infront of Dash. Pinkie had swum benith her and was now nose to nose with Dashie.

"Pinkie!" Yelled Dash, her face scarlet.

"Yeeeeessss?" Asked Pinkie.

"Don't do that!" Dashie yelled.

"Bet you were scared, huh Dash?" Asked Pinkie, swimming away.

"No!" Replied Dashie, who folded her arms.

"Aw, come on Dashie! Lighten up!" Pinkie grinned.

"I will not!" Dashie sulked.

"Mardy bum!" Laughed Vinyl, splashing her. Dashie splashed back, and there was a huge splash fight between the girls, and Dashie cheered up.

The girls all went back to their dorms and took showers again.

Twilight went off to find a letter box or something, and was wondering where everyone was. The Food Hall was not so busy this morning, but at least people were there. Maybe Saturday's were always lazy days in this school. Maybe everyone stayed in bed all day, or at least stay in their dorms. Twilight walked to the Library and opened the door. Miss Cheerilee was there, organising books and what not.

"Excuse me, Miss?" Asked Twilight. Twilight looked around and still saw no-one.

"Yes?" Asked Miss Cheerilee, looking at Twilight.

"Do you have some kind of letter box?" Asked Twilight.

"Over there." Miss Cheerilee pointed at a letter box in the corner of the Library.

"Thank you." Twilight posted her letter and sat down in one of the chairs, and got out a book.

"Sorry to disturb your reading, but can I ask why you are on your own?" Asked Miss Cheerilee.

"Oh, I forgot that the headteacher told us to stay in pairs or groups..." Twilight muttered, deep into the book.

"But, aren't you scared?" Asked Miss Cheerilee.

"Of what?" Asked Twilight.

"Starswirl, of course. He ate Nurse Redheart and ripped off Berry Punch's head, you know." Miss Cheerilee told Twilight.

"Yes, I do know. I was there. And I am not scared, I know I can beat him somehow." Twilight told Cheerilee.

"Yes, it's your friend he's after, isn't it?" Miss Cheerilee asked.

"My room-mate, yes, he is after her." Twilight replied. "Are you scared?"

"I am indeed." Miss Cheerilee nodded.

"Why are you on your own, then?" Asked Twilight.

"I am not." Miss Cheerilee replied.

Three kids tumbled in front of Twilight. Twilight recognised them. Scootaloo, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle.

"Heya!" Sweetie Belle smiled.

"I thought you girls were putting books away?" Asked Miss Cheerilee.

"We will, we'll get round to it." Applebloom smiled.

"Aren't you room-mates with Rainbow Dash?" Asked Scootaloo to Twilight.

"Yes..." Twilight replied.

"And Applejack!" Applebloom grinned.

"And Rarity!" Squeaked Sweetie Belle.

"Yes... Hey, speaking of Rarity, she's gotten better, you know. She hasn't used her wheelchair all day." Twilight told Sweetie Belle.

"She's out of the doctors?" Asked Sweetie Belle. Twilight glanced at Cheerilee.

"She doesn't know about Redheart!" Mouthed Cheerilee.

"Yep..." Twilight replied to Sweetie Belle.

"Can I see her?" Asked Sweetie Belle.

"And me see Applejack?" Asked Applebloom.

"And me see Rainbow?" Asked Scootaloo.

"Sure, sure..." Twilight replied. She put the book back and took the girls to see their sisters (and idol).

The girls all caught up with their sisters, and Twilight went back to her book.

The girls were dressed their best, and set off outside. There were many people here, which was a relif to Pinkie.

Everyone danced the night away, some getting drunk, some not even drinking alcohol. Pinkie did get drunk, and stained her dress as she threw up everywhere. Dashie took her back to the dorms.

"I love you, Dahie." Pinkie slurred.

"I'm Dashie, not Dahie, Pinkie." Dashie corrected the drunk teen.

"Yeah, yeah. I love you." Pinkie tapped Dashie's nose.

"Yeah, yeah." Dashie tucked Pinkie into bed and Fluttershy came into the room.

"Sorain wants you." Fluttershy told Dash.

"Alright." Dashie went outside to Sorain, and Fluttershy opened the dorm window so some cool air got into the stuffy room.

"More beer! I demand!" Pinkie yelled.

"No, Pinkie... sorry... You are just a bit drunk..." Fluttershy whispered.

"Drunk?! No! I am not!" Pinkie roared.

Fluttershy squeaked sorry and ran to get someone else to look after her. Applejack came in and got Pinkie some water, and was surprisingly sweet.

"No more drink for you." Applejack said, and Pinkie went to sleep.

As the night went on, everyone came back to the dorm to go to sleep. Except Dashie.
