Prologue

"Is he the one you're looking for" asked Twilight?

"I believe so", said an unknown voice, "please use Star-Swirl the Bearded's track and retrieve orb and please retrieve him for me and here is also a list of items also needed. Now go bring him back here and tell him NOTHING."

"Very well, your dismissed."

Hello I'm Barry, I am currently employed at SSS nuclear plant as an electrician. My job is to install new electrical devices, repair and troubleshoot if necessary. Today is a new day with new goals. I was called into work on my day off because a fellow electrician had gotten sick. From where I live it takes about an hour to get to the plant. After getting through security and went into the briefing. I was told I had 4 hours to get this certain system back online. I went to the building that encased the broken system and noticed that the problem right away, the motor broken from its platform and was on its side smoking. After radioing my findings in I locked and tagged out all the incoming power so I could put a new motor in and wire it up to get the system back online. After I left that building and my radiation alarm was going off and I ran into a emergency shower and pulled the lever and took a hot shower (hot shower= ICE COLD SHOWER, ironic isn't it?)

Within fifteen minutes the radiation team that was deployed to my position came and they checked their instruments to see how much of the radiation that I had absorbed. I was lucky that I didn't get my max dose. My superiors were happy that I was able to get the system back online, but were disappointed that I found an unknown pocket of radiation and now they had to find the source, I was given the rest of the day off. I went home and started to work on my personal project, which was with 2 large motors that were on the same belt and when I applied voltage to one motor the other motor would generate electricity, but my problem is that when I took the power off the first motor and connected it to the wires from the second motor It would run perfectly for an hour and then slowly lose speed and stop all together. After a few tries with different ideas, I gave up and made some lunch. After the sandwich and some chips. I put some things into my nuclear fallout shelter (since I knew the dangers of living close to the nuclear plant.)

That night as I tossed and turned while I slept, I had the worst nightmare of my life. I was at the plant when a safety injection valves failed and no more water made it into the reactor and it had started to melt down and things around the plant started to explode. I woke up, drenched in sweat and went into the living room where I had put up a radiation alarm and checked it, "good I thought to myself". I went back to bed and slept peacefully until the next morning when I woke up and got ready for work.

The next few weeks went and came nothing eventful happened. As Friday came I put half of my paycheck in the bank and used part of the rest for food and some materials to repair the house. After I put the food into the fridge. I decided to try my little project again and this time I was able to get it to work for 2 hours which I was amazed. I left the fallout shelter and noticed that the UPS had just left a package by the front door, I opened the box and my water purifiers and air filters for my house had arrived. I put them in the garage. (looking up outside I noticed a fireball coming from the sky falling in my general direction.) "HOLY SHIT", and I watched from the safety of my fallout shelter door and shut the metal door just as it impacted. (The ground shook) After five minutes I opened the door to find my house ok except for a couple of broken windows, I looked at my truck and I started to curse as I saw my truck had a huge chunk of the front broken from what had feel from the sky. It took me about 20 minutes to calm down and looked at what struck my truck and noticed a huge piece of meteor. I took several photos and called my insurance company and they sent over a agent right away. The agent took down notes and said we will bring you a new truck within the week which color would you like? I told the agent a dark blue and the agent wrote it down and he left.

The meteor was still cooling off that night and in the morning since it was raining. I figured it would be ok to take the meteor out of my old twisted truck and looked at in on the kitchen table. It was impossible to tell you how it looked, but there were some weird symbols. I pressed a symbol and nothing happened so I messed around with it and my eyes widened as the object started to rise and glow. "Oh Shit", I ran to the living room jumping over the coffee table and dove behind the huge white couch. A bright light appeared from the orb that was floating on the table, blinding my eyes as I couldn't move in fear. Something appeared causing the house to shake, the pots and pans rattled in the kitchen. The lamp fell down with a smashing force. All I could hear was grab this and don't forget that thing, theses tools (I just thought I was being robbed until something grabbed my foot.)
"I found him, he's over here" , said someone.
"Ok said bring him back over here and I'll get us back home", said someone else.
(I still couldn't see still and I had my electrical knife in my pocket and opened it and Lodged it into the persons leg .)
"Hey don't hurt him we need him alive", said the second voice.
"But he stabbed my leg," said the first voice. The person accidently dropped Barry to the floor knocking him out. "WOOPS"
