"I believe so", said an unknown voice, "please use Star-Swirl the Bearded's track and retrieve orb and please retrieve him for me and here is also a list of items also needed. Now go bring him back here and tell him NOTHING." "Very well, your dismissed." Hello I'm Barry, I am currently employed at SSS nuclear plant as an electrician. My job is to install new electrical devices, repair and troubleshoot if necessary. Today is a new day with new goals. I was called into work on my day off because a fellow electrician had gotten sick. From where I live it takes about an hour to get to the plant. After getting through security and went into the briefing. I was told I had 4 hours to get this certain system back online. I went to the building that encased the broken system and noticed that the problem right away, the motor broken from its platform and was on its side smoking. After radioing my findings in I locked and tagged out all the incoming power so I could put a new motor in and wire it up to get the system back online. After I left that building and my radiation alarm was going off and I ran into a emergency shower and pulled the lever and took a hot shower (hot shower= ICE COLD SHOWER, ironic isn't it?) Within fifteen minutes the radiation team that was deployed to my position came and they checked their instruments to see how much of the radiation that I had absorbed. I was lucky that I didn't get my max dose. My superiors were happy that I was able to get the system back online, but were disappointed that I found an unknown pocket of radiation and now they had to find the source, I was given the rest of the day off. I went home and started to work on my personal project, which was with 2 large motors that were on the same belt and when I applied voltage to one motor the other motor would generate electricity, but my problem is that when I took the power off the first motor and connected it to the wires from the second motor It would run perfectly for an hour and then slowly lose speed and stop all together. After a few tries with different ideas, I gave up and made some lunch. After the sandwich and some chips. I put some things into my nuclear fallout shelter (since I knew the dangers of living close to the nuclear plant.) That night as I tossed and turned while I slept, I had the worst nightmare of my life. I was at the plant when a safety injection valves failed and no more water made it into the reactor and it had started to melt down and things around the plant started to explode. I woke up, drenched in sweat and went into the living room where I had put up a radiation alarm and checked it, "good I thought to myself". I went back to bed and slept peacefully until the next morning when I woke up and got ready for work. The next few weeks went and came nothing eventful happened. As Friday came I put half of my paycheck in the bank and used part of the rest for food and some materials to repair the house. After I put the food into the fridge. I decided to try my little project again and this time I was able to get it to work for 2 hours which I was amazed. I left the fallout shelter and noticed that the UPS had just left a package by the front door, I opened the box and my water purifiers and air filters for my house had arrived. I put them in the garage. (looking up outside I noticed a fireball coming from the sky falling in my general direction.) "HOLY SHIT", and I watched from the safety of my fallout shelter door and shut the metal door just as it impacted. (The ground shook) After five minutes I opened the door to find my house ok except for a couple of broken windows, I looked at my truck and I started to curse as I saw my truck had a huge chunk of the front broken from what had feel from the sky. It took me about 20 minutes to calm down and looked at what struck my truck and noticed a huge piece of meteor. I took several photos and called my insurance company and they sent over a agent right away. The agent took down notes and said we will bring you a new truck within the week which color would you like? I told the agent a dark blue and the agent wrote it down and he left. The meteor was still cooling off that night and in the morning since it was raining. I figured it would be ok to take the meteor out of my old twisted truck and looked at in on the kitchen table. It was impossible to tell you how it looked, but there were some weird symbols. I pressed a symbol and nothing happened so I messed around with it and my eyes widened as the object started to rise and glow. "Oh Shit", I ran to the living room jumping over the coffee table and dove behind the huge white couch. A bright light appeared from the orb that was floating on the table, blinding my eyes as I couldn't move in fear. Something appeared causing the house to shake, the pots and pans rattled in the kitchen. The lamp fell down with a smashing force. All I could hear was grab this and don't forget that thing, theses tools (I just thought I was being robbed until something grabbed my foot.) "I found him, he's over here" , said someone. "Ok said bring him back over here and I'll get us back home", said someone else. (I still couldn't see still and I had my electrical knife in my pocket and opened it and Lodged it into the persons leg .) "Hey don't hurt him we need him alive", said the second voice. "But he stabbed my leg," said the first voice. The person accidently dropped Barry to the floor knocking him out. "WOOPS" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 The Hospital, revised //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 The Hospital, revised "Uhhh my head", I was able to slowly regaining my vision again and I noticed that I was in a hospital bed. As I sat up in the bed and Looked around the room seeing all the pictures of medical photos of ponies and looked outside the window realizing that I must of been on the 3rd or fourth floor, "Shit" ...."Where the HELL AM I"??...... I heard voices coming and I hid behind the door waiting and hopefully find a way out of here. The voice was getting closer and my heart started to race. Are these the people that kidnapped me, oh man it's a girl. "Shit" I murmured and waited. " He's in this room," said the girl, "but he still might be unconscious since we accidently dropped him on the floor." I waited nervously for the voices to go away. I waited for a few minutes and opened the door to find the coast was clear. As I walked out of the room into the hallway looking for an exit. "What is with all these pony posters I hope this is a dream", I thought. As I came to the end of the hallway, I noticed two doors one with a pony on stairs and on an elevator. I should take the stairs, I know there are somebody probably be in the elevator. I opened the door to the stairwell and looked down to see if anyone was in the stairwell, luckily there was no one in there and decided to start going down. When I reached the first floor, I peeked out the window and saw a few ponies. Rubbing my eyes to see if I was actually seeing what I just saw. "Oh Holy Crap." I murmured. After the ponies entered a room that had a name scribbled on it which I couldn't read from the distance, I walked out of the stairwell and walked down the hall. "This is the weirdest hospital I've ever seen there is no one here but just ponies," I said to myself. As I quietly snuck around the hallway, I read a sign that main entrance to the Left, to the right was the staff lounge and entrance. I bet there will be many people around the front entrance so I'll go this way and took the path to the right. As I walked I looked into a few rooms that had windows and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Just as I passed a few more doors, a door opened behind me and I froze and turned around and saw a white pony with a nurses hat on. Her eyes connected to mine and she took a step back and ran off. ".... I don't like the look of that", I said. Then the alarms goes off and on the announcer starts saying Code red I repeat Code red, the patient H is out of his room and is wandering around, staff if you see him sedate him. "SHIT, I really don't like this"... I headed towards the door and opened and went through. Looking to my surprise I bumped into a couple of nurses that were about to clock in for their shift. I knew they heard the alarm. "Sir please come back to your room with me or I will be forced to sedate you", said one of the pony nurses. I stared at them and said, "go away I don't want to hurt you". The nurses took a step closer. I grabbed the syringe from them and I was able to inject it into one of the ponies and watched them gasp in shock. I bolted past them and ran out the door that led outside. I looked at my side and noticed that there was a syringe in my side but the fluid I guessed that was a tranquilizer was barely missing. "SHIT" I have to hide before I'm out cold. I saw a forest and ran as deep as I could. I found a large tree with a lot of coverage and climbed into it, and passed out. ------------------------------------(meanwhile somewhere else)----------------------------------------------------- "What do you mean that he escaped and knocked out a nurse with her own syringe? Well send a search party for him, least the other nurse got him in the side with her syringe . If anyone finds him bring him straight too me," said Twilight. As the search party scourged the surrounding forest looking for Barry, they were surprised that they saw the syringe that was supposedly stuck him was stabbed into the tree showing them that not all the tranquilizer was injected into him. "Hey I think he's not here lets go this way and see if he's this way." (Only if they looked up in the tree, they would of seen a boot. ) I woke up and all I knew it was nighttime since the moon was over head. I climbed down the tree when one of the branches snapped and I feel on something weird, as I looked down I was on something wooden and it had green eyes and horrible breath. "HOLY SHIT" as I got off and ran like hell. The tree wolf kept a good pace as I dodged trees an low branches until I came out of the field and into an apple orchard. "Man this thing is persistent." The thing yelled out and a nearby house turned on a light and not thinking I took a sharp turn barely missing a swipe from the thing and I feel down. "Shit, I don't want to die tonight." I stared into the things eyes, my back hugging a tree then out of nowhere an apple hit the thing in the face and turned towards where the apple was thrown. I decided this was my chance and started to run again noticing that I must of cut my leg against a rock when I fell. In the background I could hear the thing scream in agony as it must of died or ran off. "Oww" I said while looking at the cut on my right leg which had blood trailing almost to my socks. "Are you alright Sugarcube"? I looked up and just stared and so did the orange pony it looking at me. "Want do you want? Where am I? What was that thing?" I asked. "It's you" said the pony... "Wait did you just talk"?... man who ever kidnapped me sure did used some powerful drugs on me. (In pony's mind, "good he doesn't know )." "What did you mean, It's you?" I asked her. "I was part of the search party that was sent out to look for you, where have you been hiding," said the orange pony? "Did you find the syringe in the tree? if so did you look up," I told her? "Yea we found the syringe but none of us thought you would of been able to go as far as you did with the tranquilizer in your system (she handed me a green apple.) I need to take you to the hospital," said the orange pony," also I'm Applejack what's your name?" " I.. I'm Barry. I just got out of there barley this morning as you can see. All I remember before the hospital was that this morning I was home and then I was kidnapped and I remembered stabbed one of those kidnappers in their leg".. (Applejack moved her right front leg behind the left one.) "Hey Barry said Applejack let me take you to my friend Twilight I bet she could help you and treat your leg." It took me awhile to think but I eventually said sure and she grabbed my hand in her mouth and I followed her in the moonlit apple orchard. I remembered the green apple she gave me and I took a bite out of it "this is good Applejack". "Please call me AJ." "Ok AJ" I said as I took another bite of the apple. "So you run this whole orchard by yourself?" "No, my brother Big Macintosh helps me run it. But he, Granny Smith and Apple Bloom are asleep right now. You were lucky that Timberwolf woke me up or that wolf would of gotten you and ripped you to shreds and Twi.." (she quieted Instantly). "And Twi?" who's that I asked? "It's no one," said A.J. As she continued to take Barry to go visit Twilight. She knew that Barry was raising suspicion. "So Barry what do you do for a living," asked Applejack? "I work at Sweet Apple Acres." "I worked at the Nuclear power plant as an electrician," said Barry. " My job was to keep all the electrical systems in order and do any maintenance if necessary." (I could see that she didn't really know what all of that meant.) "Well Barry, here we are this is Twiligh'ts house" and she knocked on the door. She knocked on the door a couple of times before Twilight answered. I watched as the purple pony answered the door saying "hi Applejack. A.J. do you know what time it is?" Then she saw Barry and gasped "you're the one who escaped the hospital and they couldn't find you." Twilight looked at his leg and gasped "your hurt. "Applejack get him inside and get him bandaged up, I have to write a paper to Princess Celestia about finding Barry... I mean umm never mind." "Hey how did you know my name" asked Barry? "Where am I?" "You are in the land of Equestria," said Twilight smiling. While Applejack was getting the first aid kit, Twilight went to the kitchen to get Ice. Barry was looking around and decided to go outside and look at the stars. "Ah much better," just watching the stars and try to get this night over with. He looked at his watch and saw that it was 2 A.M. "man tomorrows going to be a long day." (Twilight came out and went up too him.) "I have a spare bedroom you can use for the night but you have to promise not to sneak out," said Twilight. Barry followed her inside her house as she showed him to the guest room. "Here you go Barry, and sleep tight," said Twilight. "Ok" said I told her and went to the bed and laid down on it, "man this bed is soft". I looked at the books on the shelf and I shut my eyes while laying on the bed thinking about what happened today. I woke up around 8 A. M. and slowly opened the door and saw that Twilight had 5 other ponies, one of them included A.J. I could barely make out what they were saying from where I was at. "Twilight can you tell us why Me and Rainbow Dash had to go kidnap Barry from his own world" asked Applejack? "Princess Celestia didn't give me any reasons but said that he was extremely important", said Twilight. She turned her head and saw me poking my head out the door. The look of panic came on her face instantly. "He heard us," said Twilight. I shut the door and climbed out the window and headed back into the forest and put my I pod on and put Fallen Angel by Black Veil Brides on and continued to walk deeper into the forest until I stumbled on my tool bag with the tools in it. I picked them up and looked around a little in the area but I didn't find anything useful anymore and continued to walk. "Barry," asked Twilight "please speak to me." She opened the door and saw that the window was open. Barry was gone and she told her friends about Barry's fast leave. They all left and split up and searched Ponyville for him. The only trail was a few feet prints that was where he landed from the window. "Derpy did you see a man run around here within the last few minutes," asked A.J.? She nodded and pointed towards the Forrest. "Oh Holy Celestia" she murmured and ran to gather her friends and tell them the news. "He went where," said Twilight? "Everfree forest," AJ said. "This is not good, not good at all.." Said Rarity. "Spike you need to stall princess Celestia and Luna if we don't find him in time", said Twilight (she was worried.) "No problem Twilight" said Spike and went back inside the house. The six ponies into the Everfree forest and started to look for Barry. They were deep inside the forest when they found very little trace of him. Even Twilight was using her magic to trying to find him. They were searching all day until they found an apple core under a tree. She looked up and was Barry eating Zap apples. "Barry we found you," said Twilight happily. "Um partner how many of those Zap Apples have you eaten so far," asked AJ? "Around at least 6 why, these things are delicious," I told them and took a bite out of another Zap Apple. Took my shirt off and tied it where it could be used as a bag and filled it with the rainbow colored apples. "Man you are going to be sick later today" said AJ. "Those apples are magic. Uh Twilight we need to get him back now as he's not stopped eating those apples yet". She tried to take the makeshift bag from Barry but he jumped back still eating the apple. I jumped out of the tree, "Look I'm late for work and I have no clue where I am. I asked you guys earlier and I know there has to be something fishy going on. Everyone here is just dancing around my questions and I'm not leaving this area until I get some answers."(Twilight tried to move me with her magic but I had good grip on the tree, Rainbow Dash flew up to him but stopped as Barry drew a screwdriver right in front of her.) "Fine," said Twilight. "Princess Celestia told us to find you after the hospital breakout. You satisfied yet?" "No not really," I said as I walked up closer to them. I had put my screwdriver back into the case and shut it. Just as I did Two huge ponies came in, with horns and wings, one of them was white and the other was black. "Hold it right there please come with us immediately". They all saw the fear in Barry's eyes as he went further into the forest running into a dried up river bed and tore his pants on the ground and just prayed that this nightmare was over soon. I knew they were following me and I knew I'd be caught soon so I looked in the river bed and picked up a few shells that looked cool and waited for the screaming "I found him". I made a mental note to myself reminding me to get to the bottom of this and I can't trust anyone for the moment. I was surprised that they left me the rest of the day alone, I was expecting them to take me to prison or whatever they were planning on doing. "Are you sure it's alright to leave him in there", asked Twilight and AJ. "Well," said Celestia," he's on edge and spooked already and he has to come out sometime because I've never seen anyone eat that many apples without vomiting. Twilight you and your friends will go find him tonight, but be careful I.. I mean we need him alive for our plan to go into effect. " "Ok ," said Twilight nervously and they all left the forest. "What plan" asked her friends? "Oh you will all find out soon enough" has she smiled . "Well it's time I search for some shelter," I said to myself. I gathered what I had just my tools and my shirt filled with what those ponies had called Zap apples. The trees had startled to rattle and a howl came through the woods. I had to choice rather continue running deeper into the forest or back to the apple orchard where AJ was and knew that she would be waiting and take him to Twilight. I decided to run deeper into the woods and having no sense of direction as I ran past tree after tree until I ran into something and tripped and fell down. As a face appeared through the dark and Green eyes stared upon me. "Who dares wake up CHRYSALIS queen of the changelings?" She looks at Barry and asked, "who are you?" "I'm Barry," nervously. "Why are you out here this deep in the forest," as she asked with curiosity? "I woke up in the hospital this morning and I managed to escape only to find out that 6 ponies were looking for me and was able to get away from them." Queen Chyrsalis grinned. "Well Barry, would you like to stay here with me for the night" and he agreed feeling safer around her than those who had lied to him. (Chyrsalis was already coming up with a plan to take over Equestria as Barry took his tool belt off and took a Zap Apple out of his makeshift bag). I offered her a Zap Apple and she used her magic to take the apple from me and she took a bite out of it and smiled. "Thank you Barry", she said politely and she ate the apple. "Where did you find these at?" I explained where in the forest and she called out one of her friends and told the changeling to get the whole crop of Zap Apples, the changeling left with a few others. While we ate the remaining Zap Apples and I laid next to a tall oak tree and started to dose off until I saw that Chrysalis laid her head on my chest and she fell asleep, I was not out too long after her. The next morning I awoke and saw Miss Chrysalis sleeping still on my chest and smiled, well at least I made a friend today and not someone who's trying to use me for something. I saw her smile in her sleep as I stroked her Dark Cerulean mane. I noticed that she had holes in her hooves, horn, and noticed her wings weren't like the flying ponies her's were more like a fly. For some reason I felt happy to have found her here and even though I knew something was off, I was happy to find a friend. "So Barry," asked Chrysalis, opening her eyes." Any Ideas come to why those ponies were chasing you?" (Even his kindness is filling me, I want to keep him around she thought.) "No, Chrysalis I don't even know where I am." "Well you're in the land of Equestria, and well your safe from those ponies as long as with your with me". Barry smiled. I gave her my last Zap Apple and I saw her eye look onto my I pod that was in my tool belt. "What's that little box thing," she asked? I smiled and I put the earphones in her ears and hit the play and "Let you down by Black Veil Brides" started to play and I could see that she liked the song or she was thinking that this was some kind of new magic. "That is some lovely device," she said. I'm still hungry she thought to herself and I think this might do the trick as she kissed Barry on his lips. " Whoa, Chrysalis we just met yesterday.. Are you sure?" Barry had a shocked face. "Why not every queen needs a king" she told him and "I'm choosing you Barry to become my king." I was shocked, surprised and confused at the same time. "Umm how does this work since we are not of the same species?" My mind had become overburdened with questions and noticed that I saw a greenish light appear in front of my eyes.. She smirked, as she knew that she had almost complete control of him and had all the love that she could want. "So Barry, will you be so kind to become my king?" Barry's eyes turned green again for a second and he replied. "Yes Chrysalis, I'd be happy to become your king". He kissed her.. "Today we shall rest," said Chrysalis and "tomorrow we go to work". She had sent her changelings out and to scout the area for tomorrow. They were both alone now. She smiled as she laid her head down on Barry's chest. A greenish light had emerged from her horn as she grabbed a Zap Apple and split it in half and gave half to Barry. "Thanks Chrysalis", smiling and took a bite. --------------------------------------------------------Meanwhile in Ponyville------------------------------------------ "It's been two days Celestia how much longer do we have to wait till we can go in there and find him", asked Twilight? "We will wait a few more hours and if no sign comes we will go into the Everfree forest and find him", said Celestia. The seven ponies sat in the big part of the library, each one of them was anxious to go into the woods, Princess Luna was trying to see if she could find Barry if he was sleeping, but she came across something that gave her the chills down her back. "We have a lone changeling roaming close to Ponyville" said Luna. Rainbow dash was wanting to go buck the changeling back to its nest. As she tried to fly out the door AJ grabbed her tail and held her in the room. "I want you six ready for anything we might encounter in the forest that's why I brought the Elements of Harmony," said Celestia. As she put the elements to their respective pony. "Now go forth and find him and bring him back before something bad happens," said Celestia. "So Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy I want you two to fly above the Everfree forest, everyone else I would like you to come along with me into the forest and remember be careful we don't know what shape to expect him in," said Twilight. Everypony got their saddlebags altogether with the basic provisions and also one human sized straight jacket. They started into the woods. -------------------------------------------Back in the Everfree forest------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile Barry was looking at his tool pouch seeing what tools he had and decided to reorganized them. I watched Queen Chrysalis sun bathe as there was no cloud in the sky. I walked to a few of her fellow changelings subjects and they impersonated me pretty good as we all had a good laugh together. I rolled up my sleeve revealing the blood red Gear with a skull in the middle and under the gear said, The Coalition of Ordered Governments. One by one the changelings rolled up their sleeves and they didn't have the tattoo. I laughed as they transformed back and handed them a Zap Apple and the five split it up into five pieces and munched on it. I went back to Chrysalis as I saw that she was waking up. "Sleep well Chrysalis?" "Yes Barry, I slept wonderful until my soft pillow decided to get up and leave me my head on the ground while he goofed off," she replied. She smiled as she was feeding off of Barry's caring emotions for her. I wasn't going to tell Barry that I was feeding off his emotions until later. "Barry, I know of this abandoned castle not too far from here, it's a huge place but it needs a lot of work what do you think sweetie?" "Ok sure," I told her and I followed her up to the castle and we both looked around and saw that the throne room had two old thrones chairs and a banner over each one had a pony and the sun while the other banner hand the moon and another pony. The castle was showing its age but with a little elbow grease and some TLC we can make a nice home out of this smiling. I followed Chrysalis around the castle and she claimed huge room as their room. She used her magic and carved their names on the door and they continued around and found the castles old library which was full of books. I had picked up a book but I couldn't read the language and put the book back on the self. As the sun was heading down he made his way back to the room and laid on the old dusty bed and took the top sheet off and shook it creating a huge dusty cloud into the room. After the dust had settled Chrysalis laid down in the bed as Barry had tucked her in the bed and laid down right beside her and she had put her hoof around me and kissed me goodnight and I kissed her back and we feel asleep comfortably. __________________________Meanwhile with Twilight_______________________________________ "Any luck up there in the sky Rainbow and Fluttershy"? "Sorry Twilight" said Fluttershy. "AJ, Pinky how about you guys"? "All we found was a lot of zap apple cores.." (everyone's eyes opened wide remembering that he was eating them like crazy.) said AJ. "We need to find him fast it's starting to get dark out here", said Twilight," AJ where did you find the pile of apple cores?" "They were close to the Two pony sisters castle," said AJ. "He might be hiding somewhere around there". They all started heading to the old abandoned castle Twilight was determined to find Barry, while the rest of the girls wondered what was so special with this Barry guy." Is anyone else thinks it's a bad idea to be out here in the dark woods at night where we can only see so far ahead of us and no fire"? AJ, asked. "We are fine" said Rainbow Dash "nothing is going to attack a big group like outs and besides the castle isn't that far ahead pointing straight ahead." When they approached the crumbling castle they saw that there was a light on in the throne room, just as it started the rain started to pour. They ran into the castle and shook the rain off their coats and started to head towards the throne room. Twilight poked her head around the corner to get a look of the surroundings. "Oh my", said Twilight "it seems that our changeling friends are using the castle to escape the rain and they are playing cards, it's weird where is Queen Chrysalis"? "I don't have a good feeling about this," said Rarity, as she and Fluttershy tried to walk backward. They turned around as they heard snoring, Twilight opened the door slowly that showed Barry snoring on part of the bed and Chrysalis sleeping on the other side of the bed. "Oh my oh my", Said Rarity. "Look I bet he is still confused and Chrysalis is brainwashing him and feeding off his emotions to make her more powerful," said Twilight. She slowly walked up to Barry and said, "come with us we will take you away from her evilness". I opened my eyes to see Twilight and her friends and I dare not move. I knew that Chrysalis was awake and waiting to see that I was about to do. I sat up and said. "What do you guys need"? "We need to get you to safety," said Twilight. "Do you even know what she is even capable of"? "Yes, I do, she is able to transform into anything or anyone she wants too and it seems that she feeds off emotion. (Starts to rub her mane and smiles.) I heard what you had said at your house Twilight. So far Miss Chrysalis has been treating me like a true friend, nothing personal Aj and thanks for saving me from that timberwolf eariler. So anyways what's so important about me anyways"? "I promised Princess Celestia and Luna, that I wouldn't tell until the time is right," said Twilight. Looking down, "but I promise that you won't be harmed, we all just want to meet with you. Please just come and trust us". "Want to go on a trip Chrysalis", I asked? "Why don't they come here to us if they want to talk?" Chrysalis was smiling and said "sure lets go on a little trip". "Ok, Twilight I'll go but Chrysalis has to come too". I watched as the six ponies huddled into a group outside, not really caring about what they said. "It's ok Chrysalis, I'll be here for you", smiling as I lifted her head. Kissing her on her lips. "I'll always be here for you." "I was only thinking about how you were going to react to my news and I'm glad you're happy. I jumped into his arms. Hey what's in your pocket?...." "..My pocket? I don't think anything and as I stuck my hand into the pocket to find a Ring in it...." There was also a note tied to it. Thank you for everything last night. Please give this to Chrysalis when the time is right. From Celestia and Luna (under Luna's signature she tied to draw me and Chrysalis side by side.) I laughed and put the ring on Chrysalis horn and she gasped. "Where did you get this?" I was it shock as Barry put his hands around me. I looked at the diamond ring that sat on my horn. "It's beautiful Barry". I jumped on him kissing him over and over. "So does this mean that you..... want to marry me.."? "Well sweetie, I did put the ring on you ", I laughed a little as she blushed." Besides the little one is going to need a whole family, don't you agree"? (She nodded.) Put my hand around her and went and laid back down on the bed and she laid her head on my chest and slept peacefully. I put my arms around her because I knew that she was afraid that I would of not accepted her as a mate. I was so happy that Barry was ok with me carrying their little one. Even though I was scared shitless he reassured me that everything will be ok. I smiled while I laid on his chest. I didn't want to ever leave his side, I thought. I closed my eyes and went to sleep. It was twenty minutes till 1 and I knew I had to work at the Apples orchard. I looked at Chrysalis still sleeping peacefully, I didn't want to leave her but I knew I would get into trouble if I didn't. I lifted her head slowly and managed to do it without waking her up and put a pillow under her head and kissed her on her cheek and put my hand for a few seconds on her belly. I got dressed for work and I put my necklace around her neck (stargate Sg1 ). Opened the front door and walked to Sweet Apple Acres with my I pod playing Disturbed, Down with the Sickness. It took me a few minutes to walk but I got there and AJ told me to pick the apples that don't make it in the baskets to put them in and load the wagons. It was easy work for the first few hours but when it was time to haul the carts to the barn, that's where I started to wear out. We took a break after the first haul of wagons and I used my knife and cut a Green Apple into pieces and ate it that way. After the little break we got the 8 remaining carts into the barn and she said that's it for the day, and said I'll be back tomorrow morning to resume working. The sun was just starting to set as I walked back in the house to find Chrysalis still sleeping in the bed but she had changed into her human form. She had started to shiver and I put a blanket over her to keep her warm. I went to the bathroom and took a shower cleaning the smell of apples off my skin. I got out and got dressed and laid in bed next to Chrysalis and took her hand with mine and held it smiling. As I was starting to dose off she started to wake up and moved her head back on my chest and put her arms around me and went back to sleep. I went to sleep just a few minutes after Chrysalis went to slept. (Barry's Dream) As I dreamt where I left off giving Joe the med pack, fixing his wounds. Luna appeared again with her sister Celestia and paused Barry's dream . I looked around, "what the hell. Oh sorry Luna and Celestia, I wasn't expecting you two to come into my dream". "It's ok" said Celestia, "what dream is this"? "This is from the videogame Doom 3 but I changed it around a little bit to suit my needs. Most people would consider this a night mare but to me it's a normal dream. So anyways what brings you two here? " "We wanted to congratulate your reforming of Chrysalis," said Celestia. I raised an eyebrow. "Umm please explain because we just act like any other couple. Luna did show me the other day of how she used to be but she has never been that way around me . Besides she just told me that she's pregnant this morning and was really scared that I would leave her when I found out... but I just had to keep reassuring her that I'd be here for her". "Well Barry, Congregations", said Luna as she wrapped her hooves around Barry's neck. "I'll give you my blessings," said Celestia." So tell me ... Is she going to be your marefriend or marewife?" "Wife, if the life inside her is mine I will do my part and make sure to keep Chrysalis happy and safe", I told them. "Oh by the way Celestia and Luna thanks for the Ring." ( they tried to be like what ring until I showed them the letter with Luna's doodle.) "Oh that ring", Celestia chuckled and laughed at Luna's doodle. Luna blushed as her sister looked at the doodle. I stood next to Luna as Celestia grabbed a piece of paper and started to doodle. ( I thought un pause and the dream started back up again and Joe had gotten up looked at me and asked me who they were. I told him that we have to escort them to the elevator that leads to the Alpha labs. (Celestia and Luna were shocked so see that he started the dream again,)" Hey you wanted to learn about me while I dream so here is your chance". Picking up my shotgun, Joe followed me down the dark corridor. As a Imp jumped out of the air vent I unleashed 2 rounds into the Imps chest blowing it up. "Come on Joe, we need to meet up with Delta and or Bravo squad pronto". Up ahead was the infirmary, there was someone laying on the table. As we went through the door the patient sat up and rushed us and Joe put at least 20 rounds with his machinegun into the chest of the patient but as we walked close the blood was black and not red. hmmm. As they progressed through the facility. Celestia and Luna wondered how Barry didn't consider this to be a nightmare. Then the unthinkable happened to Barry ,Luna, and Celestia screamed. As I walked around the corner slowly a marine with his neck broken shot me 3 times in the gut until Joe got him dead and then ran up to me, as I laid against a crate looking at my vest which was completely shot up. As he removed the vest, I looked down and saw my stomach seeing the where the shotgun blast had made it through the vest and into my upper chest. "This is going to ruin my day Joe". I started to cough up blood and told him to leave me and I'd cover him as he continued . I woke up from the dream leaning straight up breathing heavily feeling where It felt like I had gotten shot and I noticed that I brought something from my dreams back into this world..... the shotgun with only 3 rounds in it. I quickly put the gun under the bed and noticed that Chrysalis was looking at me. "Are you ok Barry", I asked. "Your breathing hard and a little pale". "It's ok Chrysalis" putting my hand around her." It was just a bad dream", Kissing her forehead. (she rolled over me her naked body over me.) "Are you sure your alright", I asked him again? I decided to lay on top of him for the rest of the night to keep him safe from whatever got to him. Kissed him and I put his hand on my belly and held it there for a while. "I'm not going to leave you for the rest of the night until you have to go to work tomorrow morning," and kissed him again and she fell asleep on top of Barry. "Thanks sweetie", letting her stay on top of me. I smiled and went back to sleep. This time it was a peaceful dream at the beach with everyone there. I woke up and saw that it was 4:30 in the morning and realized that Chrysalis was out of bed. I went to the doorway and saw her in the bathroom throwing up. "Are you ok? How long have you been in here?" "I'm sorry Barry, I didn't mean to wake up or want you to see me like this". (Her head went back down into the toilet and started to throw up again.) As I looked back at him, I realized that he was sitting next to me rubbing my back. "Barry, I've been here for about maybe 20 minutes and I think I'm ok". I got up and laid back down on the bed. Barry came in the room with a trashcan and put it on my side of the bed. He tucked me in the bed, and went and brought a glass of water, which was just what I was about to ask him for one. Smiling, "Barry, I am very happy to have met you," then I feel asleep. I watched her drink the glass of water and kissed her. As she slept through to six and I already had breakfast prepared and brought it to her as she was waking up. "Good morning sweetie" as I put the plate of breakfast up to her and sat next to as I realized that it was about time for me to get to AJ's and start working. I got dressed quickly and told her I was about late to work and kissed her on her cheek and left. When I reached the Apple farm gate, I saw AJ and her older brother Big Machintosh about to head into the barn to get ready. As I walked into the barn AJ handed me big empty crates and I loaded them into the carts then we all set out for the area where we were going to harvest. It took about 15 minutes to arrive to the to the West side of the orchard. As I was unloading the empty crates Aj and Big Machintosh were almost filling them up as fast as I could unload them. Time was flying by as we worked and about 10:30, when the youngest Apple (Applebloom) arrived with 3 cold classes of water and we all drank and continued to 12, so I could get to Twilights house and start work for her. I stopped at the house first and checked in oh Chrysalis. She was very happy that I stopped by to see her and she asked me if she could come along with me to Twilight's and I told her, "I don't see any reason why can't come with me." I closed the door after we exited the house and we started our journey towards Twilights house and we entered." Hello Twilight I'm here. No answer ... Just as I was about to say are your here when". "Oh hi Barry, Chrysalis" said Twilight cheerfully. "Oh Chrysalis what a pretty ring, did Barry propose to you"? Chrysalis nodded cheerfully." Congratulations to the both of you. So Barry are you ready to charge the rings some more"? "Sure", I told her they all went down to the basement and saw that there were more rings attached to the machine this time and there were rings that were ready to be charged. I saw Chrysalis look at them for just a second and I saw that she was trying to resist I walked over to her and asked if everything was ok. She nodded and sat down at a chair, and watched as I started the process of charging of the rings. While the rings were charging we went back up into the main part of her house. "So Barry, Chrysalis , umm ... have you guys ... umm had ."(Barry put his finger to her mouth). "Yes Twilight" rubbing Chrysalis's belly, then putting his arm around his future wife's shoulders, smiling. It took me a minute to process what Barry said and meant. "PREGNANT........ you....... her.......pregnant.......... " Barry and me watched Twilight walk out of the house... I grabbed Barry's hand and held him close. I was scared now that somepony knew about the pregnancy, I knew that Barry knew that I was afraid. "Chrysalis it will be ok", I told her, that I wouldn't let anything happen to their unborn child. Kissed her forehead. I just kept reassuring her that everything would be ok until the front door opened. Six ponies including Twilight appeared in front of us. They all started questions in front of us left and right and Chrysalis laid her head on my shoulders, and I caught her little crown before it hit the floor and put it back on her head. "Just one question at a time please, I told them". "Is it a filly or a stallion", asked Rarity? "I don't know yet", I told her. "She just let me know yesterday and the baby can't been only a week or two." "Can I babysit once he or she is born", asked Pinky Pie? "Lets wait and see for now I told her but I'll keep you in mind Pinky". I could see that all the questions had been answered and Chrysalis sat up a little dizzy and laid back down in my lap, had to catch her crown again and this time I put it next to us. Everyone left eventually and Twilight looked after Chrysalis while I took the rings off the charging station and went back to Chrysalis who was still lying on the chair a little green in the face. "Would you like to go home and lay down on the bed?" "Yes please", I told him. I picked up her crown that was on the chair next to her and walked her to our house and opened the door. I could see that Chrysalis was really tired and I took her straight to the room and laid her down on the bed and putting the covers over her hooves, tucking her in. I also put her crown on her nightstand and asked her if she wanted any dinner. She said just a piece of bread then she wanted me to lay down next to her. I knew that she was still worried about Celestia and Luna trying to take their kid away from them. I went to the kitchen and brought her a piece of bread just as she requested and she ate it and I laid down with her and she took my hand and held me close. I shut my eyes and fell asleep. (DREAM) I was walking through the woods tracking a deer that I just shot, wanting to take it back to the camp to skin and collect the meat. When I found the deer only a few yards from where I shot, I saw that it was a clean wound and dragged the deer to the camp which was only 150 yards from my current location. I didn't mind as I walked that a cactus had gotten my boots, because I didn't feel them. When I made it back to the camp with the deer, I hoisted him on the lift and me and a couple hunting buddies started to skin the dear carefully. Jessie was skinning from the legs downward while Rob and Matt held the deer in one position. "So Barry this is a nice 12 pointer deer", said Matt. I was told my face was priceless as Jessie accidently pierced the stomach when cutting around that area. It was time to remove the guts... (everyone's favorite part). and the gut bucket was already filling up with blood then as we broke the rib cage the guts flew into the bucket making a splash with the blood already inside. Just as we were cutting the flesh and putting it into the sink, everything stopped again and I knew I had visitors once again. I wondered how they would react to this dream. As me and my older sister walked out of the woods, we froze his dream and walked over to him. Hi Barry, ........ ummm what are you and your friends doing..... and what is that hanging..... "Umm I can explain", I walked over to them with a clean towel removing the blood from my hands. Well me and my friends went hunting and we were able to get this deer and collect the deer's meat for us to eat and put in our freezers... (The sisters looked at each other). "You do realize that I am an Omnivore, I eat both plants and meat". "Oh ok" they said nervously. "Don't worry about on my planet we don't eat ponies or horses." They sighed in relief. "Besides what would Chrysalis think if she saw this. She's already scared because she thinks that you girls are going to take away our unborn child". "Child"....said Celestia. "Please Barry tell me your joking", she was looking very serious. "Yes, she is pregnant, and I'm always constantly telling her that everything will be ok and I'll be there for her. " "Hmm" said, Celestia," well I'm happy for you two, (she looked worried and mad at the same time). Also Twilight told me that you proposed to her today, is this correct? " "yes your highness", I told her. "No need for that just call me Celestia." "You can just call me Luna", as she butted in. "Ok, Celestia and Luna. Luna, I have a question for you." "Ok what is it Barry"? "Well the past couple of nights I've been manifesting things in my dreams and its started when I first arrived here." "Well, you're the second person that I know with that ability, so it's very rare... In three days you and Chrysalis come to Canterlot and we will continue our chat there. Also please don't manifest that would hurt anypony." "I understand." "Ok", (they left). It was 1:30 in the morning when I awoke and looked around. Chrysalis was sleeping peacefully (pony/changeling form.) I put my right hand against her feeling her soft breathing, I smiled. Tomorrow will be a good day I thought to myself. Author's Note Barry's starting to realize his role in Equestria in reforming his future wife. Will their kid be a male or female? human or hybrid... Will Twilight put Barry in Doom3 for vacation and let him enjoy being in a game. All questions will be reveled in future chapters. Come on folks give me some input in what you want to see. She was nervous about going, but she understood that there was no getting around it. The next two days were just the same old routine, but after charging rings with Twilight, I began to work on repairing the old house slowly, mostly replacing broken and rotted boards with new boards. It was 6:30 P.M., the night before we had to go to Canterlot and I was attempting to fix the leaky faucet in the kitchen. I thought that I fixed the sink but only to find out that I failed and the faucet started to shoot water everywhere. Chrysalis was laughing at me because I was soaking wet. I quickly got under the sink and shut the valve off that was controlling the water. Chrysalis was still smiling as she levitated a towel to me and I started to clean up the kitchen the best I could. Thirty minutes later and 3 soaked towels drying in the bathroom. "So Chrysalis, you ready for tomorrow"? "No, Barry, also why is they summoning us anyway? We haven't done anything wrong, have we"? "No sweetie, I don't really have a clue." (I really had an idea why but I wasn't going to speak.) But we have to catch the 9A.M. train tomorrow morning. "Ok, also go take a shower and put some clean clothes on before you get sick", said Chrysalis. I put my hoof to my stomach for a few seconds ad sighed. An idea popped into my head and I thought it would be fun to scare Barry while he was in the shower. I turned into my human form and slowly followed him into the bathroom. I turned the water on full hot and let the tub fill about halfway to the top then got in it. "Ahh this feels good." I started to drift off to sleep in the hot water because when I opened my eyes I say Chrysalis in her human form trying to get into the tub but I heard her say boy this waters too hot for me . "Barry please add some cool water, so I can join you". I watched him add some cold water, as I got in it was just cool enough so that it was still hot and where I could get in there with him. Kissing his cheek, "thank you Barry." (Rats I almost scared him lol.) After I got into the tub with him, I added some bubble bath to the water and ran some warm water into the liquid as the bubbles had started come and then turned off the water as the bubbles started to overtake the tub. "So Chrysalis, I see you like bubbles", chuckling. "YEP" she said, cheerfully. I laid down against him and I noticed that he wrapped his arms around my waist. I ran my hand through her long beautiful hair. I put shampoo in her hair and she squirmed a little as I tried to massage the soap into her scalp. I finally let her go and she rinsed the soap out of her hair. "Yay, clean at last", I got out of the tub and dried myself off as Barry was now relaxing in the tub. "Come on Barry, hurry up", put on a eager face. "Fine fine, I'll get out". After getting dressed, I found Chrysalis eating a sandwich at the table. I made one also and sat next to her and started to eat. I was just about halfway finished with my sandwich when Chrysalis took my hand and she led me into the living room and we sat on the couch. She leaned her shoulder on mine. "Well Barry, I really don't want to go tomorrow but I guess I'm ready", kissing his cheek. "Well Barry, I think it's time for bed so we can get up in the morning", walking to the bedroom . "Ok sweetie", getting up and heading back into the kitchen and finishing my sandwich, wash the dishes, and then heading into the bedroom where Chrysalis was laying in the middle of the bed trying to hog the bed. "Hehe looks like I get the bed tonight to myself. Hey no fair", as Barry started to tickle her. I let Barry in the bed next to me. He tucked me in under the covers and kissed my cheek. I watched her fall asleep, her long hair covered her eyes.... (closes eyes and zzzz.) (Barry's Dream) "Hey Barry," said Roger. "Are you going with Alan and his girlfriend Julie, Sarah and Dillian, me and a few others tonight to the movies to see "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" tonight"? "Well, I get off work in a couple hours". "Cool, I get off in an hour so, I'll see you there at 7:25". "Ok Roger, see you there". I went back to work for the remainder of my shift replacing breakers. As my shift ended I saw Kevin hanging around Kelsey in the parking lot and asked them "what's new"? "Nothing much", said Kevin, Kelsey and me are heading to the movies. "Awesome me and a whole bunch of my friends are going to see the "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" in a couple hours, you should come with me and we all can go together", I said. We left and regrouped at the movie theater fifteen minutes before the movie started. I bought a jumbo popcorn with extra butter, and some candy and a medium Pepsi, while everyone else got what they wanted. I found my seat in the middle just as the lights dimmed and the commercials started. As the movie started to play, I watched, eyes never leaving the screen and trying to eat popcorn at the same time. Just as Quatarmain and Sawyer caught Hyde, everything froze. HEY WHO STOPPED THE MOVIE!!!!!!. I got up and looked around...." awww again".... I slouched in my seat and put my hoodie on quickly and froze as still as I could. "Luna do you see him", asked Celestia? They looked around the theater. "Hmm, Luna go over there while I search over here." I looked where my sister told me to search and I started to pull hoodies down when I found him. He's over here passed out. "Hmmm Luna he shouldn't be sleeping while he is in his own dream right?" "Yea, he should be awake Celestaia", said Luna. Jumps up, "what's up Luna and Celestia". I laughed as they Jumped and stayed in the air. "What brings you to my humble dream?" I looked at my sister Luna and then back at Barry. "Please don't do that again, we thought we were in the wrong dream, and then you come jumping out almost giving us an heart attacks." "Yes Celestia, I won't try to scare you in the future. So what's up"? "We just wanted to remind you that you and Chrysalis are expected to be in Canterlot tomorrow by lunchtime", said Celestia. "I know, I know, we are heading out on the first train out. Plus I'm having to keep Chrysalis calm because she's scared of what you are going to tell her. Other than that, I've been repairing the house and currently was trying to fix the sink....." Luna chuckled, "Barry so what have you been manifesting when you wake up", asked Luna? "Mostly cheeseburgers Luna", said Barry. "What's a cheeseburger they both asked at the same time"? "Two pieces of bread, hamburger meat, cheese, and ketchup. I've known you've been watching me every night in my dreams trying to learn about me, which it would be easier if you just ask and let me tell you. " "I ... I didn't know that you eat meat...." said Luna nervously. "We thought you were a herbivore." "Nope, I'm an Omnivore, I eat both meat and plants". I watched as Celestia grew a little restless to know that I eat meat, while her sister was slowly backing away. "Does Chrysalis know about this", demanded Celestia? "Well she has seen me manifest it in my sleep and saw me eat it once. I really don't think that it bothers her, otherwise she would of said something about it...." "Well Barry, we shall bid you a rest of a goods night sleep said the two princesses and they vanished." (Awoke from dream) I opened my eyes seeing that it was 1:30 in the morning, looking at Chrysalis who was still sleeping peacefully on her side of the bed and also noticed that I didn't manifest anything. I moved her hair that was covering up her face with my hand. She moved in the bed and smiled. I took her left hand and feel back asleep while holding her hand. I woke up again at 6 A.M. and got dressed. I let Chrysalis sleep till 6: 30, and then had to wake her up and put her clothes on her since she stayed in her human form. "I'm up Barry", trying to get out of bed as Barry was trying to help her put on her clothes. I continued to squirm as I tried to get out of the bed, but the smell of toast drew me to the kitchen and I munched down as I sat at the table eating half the toast. "Thanks for cooking Barry". I saw her eating the toast, and I grabbed the last one before she could get it. "Well Chrissy, the train leaves in 15 minutes, I got your bag that you packed the other night". "Barry, you don't have to carry my bag, I can get it. But thanks for taking it for me." As we walked to the train station, We stopped by a field and picked some flowers and I placed them in Chrysalis's hair. I watched her smile and when we arrived at the train station, I got the tickets and we boarded the first car. I let Chrysalis have the window seat and I sat next to her. She laid her head against my shoulder and I let her sleep the whole ride up there. While Chrysalis was sleeping, the back door opened and I saw that Twilight and Spike walked in. (Quietly) "What are you guys doing here", I asked? "Celestia told us to arrive today for something", said Twilight. Spike sat on the other side of Chrysalis looking out the window. "Be careful Spike, she can get little grumpy when she wakes up", I told him. "Twilight, why can't you transform like Chrysalis", asked Spike? "Well Spike for one she is a changeling and second I like how I look already", said Twilight. "Also Barry, which of her forms do you like better"? "Twilight, I told her just to be herself, it doesn't matter what is on the outside, but what's on the inside pointing to the heart. Just as I was telling them this", Chrysalis grabbed my hand. "He's mine Twilight, go find your own husband", said Chrysalis. "Sorry Twilight", I said, I didn't realize that she got jealous. "Chrysalis it's ok, there is no need for you to be jealous". Kissing her cheek, a smile came from her. "I know Barry, but I just don't want anyone to try and take you away from me". (Looks at Twilight then back at Barry, my arms still around his.) "Umm you don't have to worry about me stealing Barry from you", said Twilight. (She levitated Spike next to her smiling.)Spike was blushing as he put his claws around one of Twilights hoofs. "Hey look we are here"!! "But why are there so many guards at the station", said Chrysalis? I was still gripping Barry's arm tighter. "Well sweetie I bet they wouldn't recognize your human form so I bet you could walk right past them with me", smiling. I stood up and extended my hand to her, my other hand was holding her bag. She took my hand and got up and walked off the train with me, the guards looked at us but they didn't stop us and they went and searched the train. The four of us had were about halfway to the castle when one of the guards ran past us at full sprint. I looked at the buildings as we walked past, thinking these houses are pretty elegant. We finally reached the castle when a guard with a star on the middle of his breast plate ran up and hugged Twilight. "Barry, this is my brother Shinning Armor, Armor this is Barry". He started to look me over then he looked at Chrysalis who was standing next to Barry. "So Twili who's that with him, I had guards at the train station to escort Chrysalis but she wasn't there. Barry where is she?" "Armor I see you don't recognize her", I told him, showing Chrysalis who was right next me. "She is right here but not in the form you know". "Ahh I see," said Armor. "Well the princesses are expecting you two so please follow me, Twilight you and Spike go to the Library and I'll find you when I'm done with them." As the two followed Armor into the castle, Barry was looking at everything closely. Chrysalis was holding Barry's hand nervously, remembering the last time she was here she had a motive to take control of Equestria but that was a few years ago. She remembered when Twilight had found the real Princess and that princess and Shining armor used their love to vanquish her. "Barry... I.. I don't want to be here, please lets go... I have a bad feeling about this..." "Chrissy, it will be ok", patting her shoulder gently, "I won't allow them to hurt you or our little one inside you, I promise." I smiled and we walked together into the throne room. As we entered Armor shut the doors behind us and we walked towards the thrones where Princess Celestia and Luna were sitting. THE MEETING "Good evening, Barry, Chrysalis", said Celestia and Luna. "You two are probably wondering why you have been summoned here," said Celestia. "Well as you know Barry was brought into this world by an unknown force". (lying but they hid the lie pretty well)." Today we shall put you through a series of tests to see if your worthy of staying here in the land of Equestria or to be banished and never return". I saw that Chrysalis was very nervous with her biting her finger nails, while Barry had the WHAT THE HELL look on his face. I stood there speechless, a test and possible banishment..... hmmm " ok so what is it you want me to do"? I stood there waiting, to see what my trials were going to be. "Barry, I told you we shouldn't have come here," saying Chrysalis. But she knew that they would of forced them to be here if they didn't come. "Miss Chrysalis please follow me", said Luna. I went to her and led Chrysalis away from Barry they went into a different room. "Well Barry, it's just you and me know", said Celestia. "So are you ready to begin Barry?" "Sure let's just get this over with", I told her. I watched her come over to me, her horn glowing and I tried my best to shield my mind but she was stronger. "Please don't shield your mind", when I finally broke into his mind, I started to look for anything magical about him which was part of the first test. Barry's mind was like a computer, after figuring out how to find memories, I was able to locate specific memories. I was able to find a few memories but they weren't nothing too unusual, but as she was about to give up on it a memory popped up out of nowhere so she decided to see too see out of curiosity. (MEMORY) (This memory is 2 years before he started working in the power industry.) "Hey Barry, you have the right amount of cars that we need to take with us to the coaling plant," asking Henry, the Locomotive engineer? "Yea I got the right amount of train cars attached". Climbed up into the locomotive, just as the train started to go forwards. 2 hours pass by then an announcement comes over the radio saying to get to the nearest rip track that there is a runaway train on milepost 33, Henry and Barry were just passing mile post 28. "Dispatch location on the runaway train"? They just hit the into the mainline siding and left the train cars in there as they went back on the main line. "Dispatch do you read we are ready to catch your train". "This is dispatch the train 999 is just passing milepost 30 are you in milepost 29, siding"? "Sir we just left our cars in there but I got four locomotives ready to get down and stop that train no matter what the cost", said Henry. "Well I need you off that line now and that is an order", said dispatch demandingly. "Hey Henry, we need to match their speed if we plan on doing anything", I'm heading to the back of the last engine and I'll radio you when we start getting close. "Ok Barry, but be careful", I told him. I watched Barry leave the front locomotive where I was located, man he is brave to be doing what he is about to do right now. I was making my way to the back Locomotive and as I went to the end and I noticed that the train 999 was heading towards us fast. (Over the radio) Go a little faster please the train is getting closer and closer. I felt the engines get louder and as the train 999 slowly crept closer until they were only inches away from the four engines. "HENRY START TO APPLY THE BREAKS", I yelled. The sound of the trains breaks starting to squeal was hurting my ears as triple 9 rammed their train. Sending me into the side of the train, I was barely able to grab the chain railing that had stopped me from going over the side. "Situation report Barry", saying Henry (Radio)" All set and keep breaking". I looked at my leg noticing that it had blood running down into my foot. "Henry, I did something to my leg but I'm going to continue to try and get across to the other train, over." I hear you loud and clear Barry, be safe. As Barry jumped across the train he landed on triple 9 and fell on the platform, he finally realized that his leg was broken severely in multiple places. (Over the radio) "Barry where are you, we are running out of time before we start hitting stations and we are being pushed. We are going to be hitting town after town so we have to hurry," Henry said panicking. "Henry I'm on triple 9 but I broke my leg and I'm currently crawling to the door to get in". I slowly made my way to the door that led into the cab of triple 9. Just as I was able to open the door the train hit Henrys train causing me to fly into the cab. (Radio) "God dam Henry what's happening over there over"? "We just lost our main breaks, all we have are the locomotives brakes, where are you"? "Just got flown into the cab of the train and I hurt like you wouldn't believe," saying Barry. "Ok, I'm going to stop this baby now because I see that we are heading into the towns now." "Roger that, want me to get a medic on standby," said Henry? "Yes please, (acting like I wasn't in any pain)" I started to slide the throttle to neutral until it reached zero and hit the brakes. "Henry controls and brakes aren't responding.... I'm going for the fuel shut off." "Be careful ," said Henry as he struggled with controlling the train. As I now had to struggle to get out of the cab, I now had to lean over the side of the train and hit a small red button next to the gas tank. When I made it to where the fuel tanks,(still laying down on the footpath) I reached and hit the button. "Henry I hit the button you should have control soon." "Roger that," said Henry. I applied the locomotive brakes again and the train rammed into their engine again. (As the locomotive died from lack of fuel, the full force of the train kept it still in motion but Henry's locomotives were slowing it down, we were probably going almost 80 miles an hour. Henry had put the emergency brake on and the four locomotives in front, the wheels were sparking as the train was being pushed. Barry was laying on the platform as he couldn't walk anymore due to his broken leg, and the amount of pain he was also in. "Barry where are you," said Henry. "We are under 60 and slowing." "Awesome, I told him, but I could really use some Advil right now to ease the pain I'm in, this stupid train smashed my leg pretty bad, also where's that medic you promised (jokingly)?" "They are not too far from us buddy, just keep hanging in there", he told me. As the train finally stopped next to a road there were police and medics there cheering, I even noticed that there were news choppers flying overhead. "Oh man, this is embarrassing" I thought, they saw the whole thing, seeing me crawl because of the broken leg. But to my surprise they were cheering and the medics came over to me and helped me off the train into the back of an ambulance and checked out my leg. Within fifteen minutes of Barry getting his leg in a temporary cast, we was surrounded by the media and Henry was finally able to reach Barry as the media found him. All the reporters were trying to ask questions at the same time. "Henry, you talk to them", said Barry. "I don't want to talk to them just right yet." "Ok Barry," saying Henry. As Henry walked towards the media people and started to answer a few questions. "How were you able to stop triple 9", asked a reporter? "We used precision and teamwork to stop triple 9," said Henry. "How did your partner get that train stopped"? asked another reporter. "Well you will have to ask him, I just controlled the lead train and helped brake. I'm sorry to say that Barry's about to head out to get his leg checked and fixed by a doctor." (Meanwhile with Barry) I was in the ambulance being taken to the hospital, and just as the we arrived to the hospital there was a black SUV that had the railroad company's logo on it. Three men greeted me, as I was being taken to the X-ray room. They said thank you for stopping triple 9 and you must of been crazy to pull a stunt off like that. I had a two days to give them my report on how Henry and me pulled it off. (Two days later) I handed my boss my report that he asked for and it was two and a half pages. They allowed me to give my report to the media but asked me to keep a few details out. (Memory Ended) Celestia was shocked as she let go of Barry's mind. He and his partner had almost sacrificed themselves to stop a train that could of killed thousands of people. He might not have magic or the ability to fly but he has a huge heart to risk his life for many people. I might have misjudged him after all. But he's not safe in this world without anything... "Uhh, Celestia what did you do, uhh my head," I said. I put my hand to my head. I decided to sit down as I started to feel lightheaded. "Your ok Barry", said Celestia. "I just went through a few of your memories too see how you were when you were back on your own planet and I am very surprised, I've haven't found a pony in a long time that did the things like you did, breaking orders in order to prevent many lives from being lost. Yes I saw the memory of triple 9. Now please, I am currently interested in hearing from you about your time here in Equestria so far? Also how far are you willing to go to protect somepony's life?" Well Celestia, at first I was confused since I woke up in the hospital, barley escaped and fled into the woods scared and confused when all I saw was ponies and no humans. Then I ran into Chrysalis who for some reason, I didn't feel afraid around her and I don't know but I guess we just bonded and here we are today.... and the rest has been pretty good, working at Sweet Apple Acers for half a day then the rest of the day I am working for Twilight. Lately I've been slowly trying to repaint the house and do a little maintenance on it as well. Lastly, just trying to get ready when Chrysalis is due ... "Due,.... what do you mean by that" asked Celestia? "Is there something wrong with her?" "Well .... she's pregnant and I remember telling you this a few days ago...." "I'm sorry Barry, I've must of forgotten," she said. "How long is she?" "Well I've been here for almost 3 weeks... so she's at least two weeks into it. Also to answer your second question I'd take a bullet to protect anyone no matter what because, I'm sure somepony would do the same for me". (Closes eyes as a neon green mist surrounds himself.) "What is happening ", Celestia thought. She watched the mist circling Barry's body making him glow and a bright light came out of nowhere blinding everypony in the room. As the dust settled Barry was laying on the ground with his palm s glowing a bright neon green. "Barry are you ok", asked Celestia? "Uh, I'm fine, umm why are my hands glowing and why did you tattoo my palms", I asked confused? "Barry, I didn't do anything you did this to yourself, and that's magic that's surrounding your hands." She walked up to Barry and looked at his palms seeing a Neon green, gear on his left palm and on his right palm a shield . "Hmm interesting apparently it seems that you just got your cutie marks. Well it's official now you can stay here in Equestria now since it apparently you found your special talent. How about we go see how Luna and Chrysalis are doing, shall we "? "Sure I said", she opened the door to where Luna and Chrysalis were sitting. I could see that chrysalis had been crying since there was a puddle of water around her. "Cheer up Chrysalis, Celestia said I could stay because of this, (showing her his palms.)" Chrysalis jumped into Barry's arms, excited to see him. "What's with the green glowing from your hands sweetie?" She opened his hand to discover the marks on his palms, her eyes started to drop a few tears, "you got your cutie mark, I'm very happy for you Barry and also happy I get to keep you", kissing him on his cheek. "I thought they were going to take you away from me", she said as the tears started to flow. "Well Chrysalis, you're going to have to start teaching me how to use magic," I told her smiling and she agreed. Twilight and her friends entered and stopped as they saw the glowing from Barry's hands, they thought that Celestia was going to banish him or worse. "Celestia, please don't hurt him", said Twilight. The six ponies ran over to them. "Twilight, he's passed the test and I'm not causing that magic that's on his hands, that's his own magic. Don't ask me how but its magic." Twilight took Barry's hand and looked at them his left palm looked like the tattoo on his shoulder, while his right palm had a shield. "Two cutie marks.... how? ....." "Twilight, I'd like you to teach him how to use and control his magic please," said Celestia. "Well Me and Luna must me off you eight have fun and congratulations Barry". (Luna ran and gave Barry and Chrysalis a hug and then went back off to her sister and left the room.) I noticed that my magic aura was almost the same color as Chrysalis's. I noticed after a few minutes that Chrysalis wasn't letting go from her hug, and the six ponies saw. "You want to go home sweetie", asking her? "I'd love too, but first come over here, and carry my clothes", I gave Barry my clothes as I transformed into my original old pony form. I smiled, and ran my hand threw her mane (magic aura was gone now.) We all walked back to the train station, I noticed a lot of ponies were staring at me and Chrysalis but I didn't care because I got to stay here with my future wife and the little one she was carrying. I thought to myself for a bit she only gave me one or two test out of the original four.... hmmm. They all reached Barry's and Chrysalis's and after an hour of talking to Twilight and their friends, they left leaving Barry and Chrysalis to themselves. "So Barry, what kind of magic would you like to learn first"? Chrysalis said happily. "Um I don't know but something easy first". I was not too sure about this but she wanted me to try and see what I could do. I knew I was probably not going to be able to do much, but I had agreed to try. She smiled, "How about something easy, here catch this rock," she threw a rock towards Barry. She watched as Barry tried to catch the rock with magic but he was a second off and got hit on the head. "Are you ok Barry,? Let's try again." She tossed the rock this time and Barry moved his hand forewords and made a fist and the rock stood still and then exploded. (Her eyes went wide) Wow, even blew it up. "Oh man that took a lot out of me," as I crashed on the couch. I didn't expect to use that much energy at all, I thought . I saw that Chrysalis (who was in her normal form) decided to lay on me, her fur was very soft and warm, her insect like wings were folded in and she laid her head on top of me as she fell asleep. I was so exhausted that I feel asleep quickly too. Author's Note Here is chapter 5, the story will be getting interesting now and right now the story can go anywhere so give me a prediction on where it should lead. He laid on the couch while Chrysalis slept on top of him peacefully. (Dream) "Whoa, where am I", I looked around not noticing my surrounding as everything started to change until I became aware of where I was, I was in a forest and there stood a creature just behind the trees. His eyes were glowing a Yellowish glow and they were fixed on me. "Who are you", I asked? "What are you?" His eyes looked like they could pierce your soul. "I am part of you, the evil in you", it said. "I have been with you, your whole life but I have been suppressed for so long until today when something broke the bounds that held me down. I am can look like whoever you like." "So let me get this straight, you're the demon that lives inside me", I asked? "Yes", said the demon. "So I know all about you" smirking, "but I don't even have a name". "Hmm ok, well how about Hostility"? "I like it since most of my chains are broken, I will be able to influence you more (Hostility started to smile evilly.) I hope you're ready to get angrier that you have ever been. It's been so long since I was imprisoned and now to be almost free it's beautiful!!!! Thank You." (Princess Luna entered the dream by a spark of light). "Hi Barry........um what's that Barry.... "She was looking at Hostility. "Barry get back now", Luna demanded. "Why Luna", I asked her while I stood next to the demon Hostility. "I think when I got these magical abilities, I set him almost free. I think he is wanting to play", smiling. "Barry be careful I need to get my sister Celestia." (She left quickly.) "Barry can I have some fun when they come back", said Hostility. "I also know that you are able to manifest objects and bring them into the real world." Just as Barry was going to reply Luna and Celestia appeared in front of them and Luna looked a little worried while Celestia stood there looking at the demon Hostility. "So you're the demon that has been hidden deep within Barry, why are you here now all of a sudden," Celestia demanded. Her horn glowing waiting on the demon to make a move. "I'm here because, magic was the key to my part of my release, now all I need is to figure how to get the rest freed". (started to walk towards them, and as he walked out of the forest, he stood eight foot tall, humanoid (Doom3 Hellknight). Luna and Celestia took several steps back, While Barry stood there observing everyone. "Hostility, stand down", I said. He did as I told him and I knew that he had to obey me for the time being. "Barry, how did you do that", Luna asked? "I've never seen a mortal being able to control a Demon like that. I've seen many demons but never a demon like this one." "If he ever gets out into Equestria, we will be forced to turn him into stone like the other demons in the royal garden", said Celestia. Luna had nodded in agreement. Hostility looked at Celestia, "weren't you going to turn Barry into stone yesterday? Also I can see everyone else's demons Luna's especially." I walked over to her, "I see that your demon in you is always trying to get you become evil again, isn't the demons name Nightmare Moon?" "How do you know about her", asked Luna? "Well I can see other demons, that's the perk of being a demon", said Hostility. "The only pony here I haven't seen a demon is that pony .... Fluttershy. Chrysalis's demon even likes me lol, but she's is being suppressed big time like I once was. " Luna looked at her sister, "what do we do, I'm a little scared? That test of yours somehow partly released him. Who knows what he'll do if gets out. " "Time will tell sister", and they vanished. As I realized the two ponies left and Hostility was enjoying himself (boasting about himself), I turned the dream to a beautiful beach and laid down in a chair watching the crystal clear waves move into shore. "Ahh the only way to relax." I watched as the demon look around at the new surroundings. "Go release your anger out here where you are safe and you can do this every night when I dream we are at the beach. " "Thank you", said Hostility. He started to run around destroying everything in his path, what ponies were there were brutality mutilated and killed. Barry knew that he was having a field day. He went and killed everyone on the beach except Barry who was reading a book and Chrysalis who was in a chair next to him asleep. There was blood everywhere on the beach, even the water had turned blood red tint to it. Walking to Barry, "thank you for the release, it felt good to stretch my legs again, I'm good for a few days now." "Ok" said Barry," well I'd better get Chrysalis to the bed", shaking the Hostility's hand and everything started to change as he started to wake up. (Awake) I opened my eyes and looked around at my surroundings, I was still laying on the couch, clock said two A.M. Chrysalis was still sleeping on top of me. "Chrysalis, wake up just enough so that I can get you into the bed". I saw her sleepy eyes wake up and I led her to the bed and she laid down on top of the bed and took both pillows and went back to sleep. "Hmm, oh well", she can have it for the night and crawled under the covers and laid there. (4 months later) Over the past four months nothing happed really, Barry had finally gotten the house fixed up, Chrysalis was about five months pregnant, she even had a little bulge in her belly that was noticeable. Barry was getting better at his magic studies, as he was able to levitate objects, force fields, and a few others, but he was currently learning how to transportation spells. Barry was enjoying Chrysalis teaching him magic but with each new spell he learned, Barry quickly knew that each time he learned new spells, he was slowly changing, his mind and attitude. It was in the middle of June and the temperature was around 82 degrees, sunny day and not a cloud in sight. Birds were singing all around and everypony was at a festival in the middle of the town. I had been working with AJ at Sweet Apple Acres finishing the mornings chores. Big Mac had already filled the barrels with apples and I loaded the barrels into the wagon. It was about 11:30 when I had gotten the last barrel into the barn and moved the wagons to the shed. Big Mac pulled me to the side after I put the barrel of apples down and I followed him away from Aj, and Applebloom. "Thanks", said Big Mac. "I have a question for you Barry and I'm kind of embarrassed. " "Sure ok", I told him. "What's on your mind?" "Well Barry, I like Miss Cheerilee, and well... I... umm.. would like to take her out to the festival ..." "Cool, well tell me what does she like, or any info that you can give me, and I'll do whatever I can to help you". "Umm well, she's nice helpful, and a teacher.", said Big Mac. "Let me get AppleBloom since she's a student of Cheerilees". As Big Mac left Barry's house, Barry went outside and went to see Miss Cheerilee, who was outside her house and was doing some gardening . I looked around and saw no one around Cheerilee and I walked up to her, "Hi Miss Cheerilee, how are you today?" "Oh hello Barry, how are you today", asked Cheerilee? "I'm doing good", I replied. "You have a pretty garden , also my friend is shy and he wanted me to see if I could get you to go the festival with him?" "Oh is it Big Mac, (I was shocked that she got him on the first guess) sure I'd love to go with him," Blushing. "Oh, I'm so excited, thank you Barry for the wonderful news, I must get ready for tomorrow then." She ran inside and shut the door fast. "Hmm now it's time to go find Big Mac". It took about fifteen minutes to find where he was, but I eventually found him outside his house raking a few leaves in the front yard. "Hey Big Mac what's up? " "Nuthen much", he told Barry. "So what can I help you with"? He raised his eyebrow. "Your set up for tomorrow with Miss Cheerilee". (His eyes widened) "How did you do that so fast, he asked? " "Well Mac, I believe that she likes you, so you are pretty lucky. Well you have fun tomorrow at the festival, I got to get back home before somepony gets cranky". I left Mac with his thoughts. When Barry got home, he noticed that Chrysalis was eating a sandwich. She turned her head and saw that I was home and the ran up to me and asked where I had been. I told her that I had been helping Big Mac to get a date for the festival tomorrow. She said ok, are you ready to practice your magic skills? (I've not told her about Hostility yet, right now I thought it wasn't the best time to introduce him to her.) "Sure Chrisy, is there a spell to make a pair of wings for me so we can both fly"? I asked her. "Hmm well there is this one spell but it's too advanced for you", she said sadly. "How about we use the transportation spell I taught you and go to Canterlot?" "Ok sure", I said, and Chrysalis had transformed into her human form and her belly was just a little bigger than her original form. "Are you ready sweetie?" She nodded in agreement and I had cast my spell and we found ourselves in Canterlot. For some odd reason we found ourselves in the throne room and Celestia and Luna were looking at us both shocked and puzzled. "Hello you two, what brings you here", asking Celestia? "Um just practicing magic and we were supposed to teleport on the outskirts of the castle, not in the throne room", I told her. (Luna giggled.) Well Barry, saying Celestia, at least your trying to use magic, which is a good start. Barry, what's wrong with your left palm and I saw the cutie mark of the gear and it was rotating as if it was in part of a machine. Barry, I've never seen a cutie mark do anything like that before. I'd like it if you and Chrysalis would stay for a few days while we examine this. I looked at Chrysalis and she was looking at me. "Um Celestia are you going to keep me away from here since well you know back then a few years ago?"(She was referring to the time when she took Princess Cadence's place and tried to take over Equestria.) "I think you are ok to stay with Barry this time, but please Chrysalis, follow me, I'd like to talk to you". (Chrysalis gulped in fear.) "Thank you Princess Celestia", Chrysalis ran to Barry and gave him a hug and kissed him and went with Celestia. As Chrysalis and Celestia left the throne room to a door to the right. Luna grabbed Barry's hand and took him to a room with a Moon shape stitched onto the bed, which must of been her room. She shut the door after I followed her in. "Barry, I need to know what kind of demon is in you when me and Celestia were in your dream the other night?" "Well, I gave him the name Hostility. He's pretty nice to me but, just don't enter my dreams on Thursday, please don't ask and just take my word". Luna nodded in agreement." So what did Chrysalis mean back in the throne room, just curious?" "Well Barry, A few years ago she tried to take over Equestria. She almost got away with it until Twilight Sparkle had found the real princess that she had replaced and she and her future husband who was Twilight's brother used their magic to banish her from the kingdom, but since you found her she had been un banished for some reason. I'm glad your with her because she has always been a real threat to us, by feeding off our love. But I don't understand is that when she feeds off pony love we grow very week and sick, while nothing happens to you, It's like you just shake it off. " "Ok Luna, thank you for that little bit of info. I'm sure you won't probably have to worry about her returning evil, she's been getting clumsier each week from being pregnant. I just don't understand how interspecies breeding is possible, I mean sure she can change her form but still she has pony DNA, while I am human and have human DNA. " "Barry, there is so much that you need to learn, Equestria is full of mysteries. Almost anything can happen here. I bet your little one will be perfect no matter what he or she looks like. Is your little one a colt or a filly?" "To be honest I don't know. I know she's a little over 5 months pregnant but she never told me. I do wrap my arms around her and put my ear to her belly to see if I can hear anything, if anything Chrysalis is going to make a great mom, I just hope I can be a good father to the little one". (Luna put her hoof around my shoulder.) "Barry I'd know you'd make a good father", said Luna, cheerfully. "You are kind, helpful, and never give in," she boasted." Hey lets go get some lunch, I'm starved, how about you"? "Sure Luna, I could go for some fries, " I said. We left her room and went to the banquet hall where there was food laid out on the table and we sat together and started to eat the food which was on the plates. My plate had French fries and broccoli and boy were they good. Luna had hay which they looked like bacon strips. She had offered me one but I gracefully declined, since I didn't eat hay but I let her have a piece of my broccoli, after a few seconds she gobbled up the rest of my broccoli. (I didn't realize that she was that hungry. ) After they finished eating, Celestia and Chrysalis came into the hall and sat on the opposite side of the table in front of me and Luna. The two used their magic to lift the lids off the plate revealing that Celestia had the same plate I had and Chrysalis had what Luna had. "So what did you two do while we had our talk", asked Celestia curiously? (Chrysalis looked at them also waiting to hear what they did.) "We talked like you, and I asked him to perform some of the magic that he was able to do. And his Cutie mark had stopped spinning." (Barry looked at his palm and sure enough it stopped.) "Well Luna, Barry, I'm glad you guys are having fun . ^_^ . " Celestia then turned to Chrysalis, "well I hope you enjoy your stay" and she walked out with one of her attendants. "So Chrysalis, what would you like to do", asked Luna. Barry had gone over to her and took Chrysalis's hand and held it smiling. "How about we go swimming," replied Chrysalis. "Sure," I told her," but where are we going to go?" I grabbed Barry's hand and we went to the river. I knew this was going to be fun. As we headed towards the river, I noticed that no one was around the river. "Yay we get the whole river to ourselves", I said, cheerfully. I was keeping up with Chrysalis when we finally reached the river, it was a wide river and was not moving at a reasonable pace, I was kind of worried that the current would be too fast. I noticed that Chrysalis had let go of my hand and she was already getting into the water, I took off my shirt and headed into the water behind her. "HOLY MOLY, this water is freezing cold." "Well Barry what did you expect", Chrysalis said, "we are on a mountain river." I saw Barry was shivering as his surfaced from the water. "Are you ok sweetie?" "The water is cold!" As I replied to her. Shivering as I treading water. I knew that I would not last in the ice cold water and surly realized it when ice started coming down from up river. I quickly got out of the freezing water as fast as I could and started to sneeze. "Barry are you ok?" Bless you as he continued to sneeze. "I hope you don't get sick sweetie", replied Chrysalis as she continued to swim in the water. "I'll be fine, you go ahead and keep on swimming and I'll watch you from the bank". I laid down and watched he have her fun in the water for a couple of hours, then she got out and laid next to me and she was very cold but it didn't seem to bother her any. I stroked her long mane. A royal guard came running up, "MISS Chrysalis you and Barry are needed back at the castle now. Something has happened and maybe you can shed some light. "(He left) "Come on Barry grab my arm and we will teleport to the castles gates. " (Barry grabbed her Hoof) She used her teleportation spell and we appeared in front of the Canterlot Castle. They ran inside bumped into Twilight, Barry had tripped over Spike and fell to the floor. "I'm ok", as I got myself up from tripping over Spike, I looked around and everyone vanished like no one was ever there. "Hello where did you guys go?" As I walked around the castle I found no pony anywhere, not even the guards. I started poking my head in random rooms looking for somepony but never found anyone. "What in the Hell is going on here," I yelled. I poked my head out a window and noticed that there was nopony outside either, this is getting strange and weird. I ran throughout the palace, still nothing. All of a sudden I saw that the door at the end of the hallway started opening. "Hello who's here", I asked nervously? All of a sudden Hostility walks into the room and notices me and walks towards me. "Hey Hostility, do you know why no one is here in the palace?" "That's easy" said Hostility. "When you tripped over Spike you flew through a window into the royal gardens and are out cold", smiling. "Your inside your head right now as I've been giving you generous amount my energy so that you can recover quickly". "Thank you, Hostility. It means a lot. So we are in my dream.... why can't I change it or anything." "That's because you're in a medical induced coma for the time being until they can mend your broken legs... With all this magic you would think that they could fix anything in an instant. " "Yea so, (I put a devious grin on my face) how about we do something fun?" "Barry, I like that grin what do you have in mind?" "Well lets go to the armory first then I'll tell you the rest". As we made way to the armory, we still didn't see anypony and I opened the door and tossed Hostility a Broadsword and a ax, while I took a regular sword and a bow and arrow. "Well you ready to go destroy something"? (Hostility was shocked to see the beautiful weapons that were in his hands and nodded happily.) The two went down and started to break everything in sight. A vase here and a table there, we had fun destroying things. While we were destroying things the whole room started to fill with Chrysalis's, Twilight's voice. (Twilight and Chrysalis talking with the nurse) "Will he be ok?" Asking Chrysalis, looking sad. "I'm so sorry Chrysalis", Twilight said as she put Spike on her back for the duration of the day. "He's lucky that he missed that cactus down there or otherwise I believe that he would of been far worse." (I tried to calm Chrysalis the best I could because of her pregnancy but was having a hard time so I called in the nurse.) She reassured that Barry was going to be alright, and he might wake up later and I'll release him to you to take back to your home back in Ponyville. No one knew that Barry could hear them as they talked which wasn't a bad thing but made him sad since he could not relay them a message that he's ok. "So Twilight," asked Chrysalis. "Do you have any idea why Celestia and Luna summoned here so quickly, and where are they anyways"...... she asked. "Well something from the past as risen and Celestia wants Barry to open the door that just rose out from under the surface in your backyard". ....." Door? Backyard....? Sorry but I'm not following exactly," saying Chrysalis. (Back in Dream) "What door behind the house", I wondered to myself. ..." I don't have any idea what they are talking about"... I looked as Hostility but he was having the time of his life right now destroying things. "Man I wish I could wake up right about now so I can see what all the commotion is about". (Looking at my hands) "Hey where did my cutie marks go?" I was getting pissed off now and I wanted out of this coma ..... punched the wall as hard as I could and I knew instantly I should of not done it because my right hand was hurting all over. I decided if I was going to be stuck in here I'm going to sleep in peace and went to Celestia's room and laid on the bed. "Man this bed is so comfy", I thought to myself. I looked and saw a folder on her nightstand which said stately on it, "For Celestia's eyes only. I rolled my eyes and took a look inside. (Eyes widening) "Holy shit, she has my life profile since the day I arrived to this weird planet. It was a TO-DO LIST". I quickly scanned it and quickly folded the envelope into my back pocket. (Chrysalis and the nurse.) "So there's nothing we can do to wake him up already, I want to ..... "(broke down crying.) "Well there are these magical sleeping salts but they haven't been properly tested and there might be some side effects", said the nurse. "Give them to me please", asking Chrysalis, "I want him up already and then we can treat him while he is awake, it's my fault for this accident and I want to tell him sorry already." As the nurse handed Chrysalis the bag of smelling salts, the smell of the salts could wake the dead. Chrysalis took the salts and held them under Barry's nose. Nothing happened right away and after a few minutes Barry had started coughing and Chrysalis moved the salts away. Barry had put his hand to his head rubbing his eyes. "Uhh where am I and what smells like decaying dirty socks". Just as I had said that Chrysalis gave me a huge hug and started to kiss me endlessly. "I'm so sorry Barry, said Chrysalis. We should of walked back to the palace, then you would of never tripped over Spike and Twilight and would of fell out of the window. I had no intentions of leaving his side this time. " "Did you figure out why Celestia called us back to the castle yet"? Looking around and I felt something poke me from my back pocket and realized that I had that folder still on me from the dream. "No she went to her room and after a few minutes she ran out saying that her folder was missing. (Oh SHIT thought Barry) She is running around in her room looking for it. I sat up and moved my legs to the floor while the nurse was telling me I needed to rest and lay back down. I ignored her warnings and tried to stand up, I was ok for a few seconds until I just fell back on the bed. "Dang well can Chrysalis just push me in a wheelchair"? The nurse agreed and brought a wheel chair and Chrysalis pushed me where Celestia was running around tearing up her room. "Celestia", yelled Chrysalis, "we are here as you requested". Celestia turned her head and walked over to them. "Well Barry how are you feeling," asked Celestia? "Sorry about the mess, I lost something and I am having a hard time finding it. It was a binder but no worries. Barry a structure appeared outside of your house in the backyard and I need you to go down and see if it's safe and what it is, maybe you could restore the power if possible so we can see, but first please rest and regain your strength, I don't know how you managed to not seriously hurt yourself after a 2 story fall but I can see your one tough person." "Umm Celestia while was out cold, me and .... were all alone in the Castle and no one not even a guard was around and we went looking around and I found this folder on the ground", (pulls the folder out of his back pocket and handed it to her, her eyes went big and wide with fear.) "How did you...... Celestia was in shock just as much as was Chrysalis. Did you look inside of this Barry?" "No, just happened to wake up before I had a chance to read it" (lying). "Ok Barry good now go off and get some rest". Celestia turned around and walked off. Chrysalis pushed Barry to the room that was set for them and he slowly got into the bed. He had a little annoyed look on his face. Chrysalis saw that and she began to wonder if Barry had actually read what was in the folder. "So Chrysalis, did I hear Celestia correctly? Something popped up in our backyard?" (She nodded). Hmm and I fell asleep. I smiled as I watched my sweet Barry sleep and she laid down next to him and I put my hoof around him. Smiling because Barry was ok, she laid her head on him, (I'm six months pregnant and only got five more months to go.) I finally went to sleep. The next morning after Celestia finished her Briefing with Barry and Chrysalis they were allowed to go home and report the findings on the door in the backyard. They took the 4 hour train ride home and Barry didn't realize how exhausted he was when he made it to the front door of their house. Chrysalis had caught him about three times till she make him lay down on the couch and rest for a bit , but it turned out to be FOUR solid days he laid there passed out. "Barry please wake up"... cried Chrysalis. I had been trying to wake him up for the past 2 days and with no success. I had to get Twilight Sparkle from her house and see if she could help me at with trying to wake him up. "Chrysalis, you said he's been asleep for four days", asking Twilight? (I took down notes down as she told me. " I DONT GET IT. How does someone just sleep like that, you said he hasn't done it before right and" Chrysalis nodded. "Hmm well hopefully he wakes up soon". I decided to stay with Chrysalis and monitor Barry every three hours but nothing happened until around 3 in the morning when I went to check on him and noticed that he wasn't in the couch and started to look for him. "Chrysalis, wake up, Barry's gone ," Twilight said as she tried to wake the changeling who was sleeping peacefully. I awoke when Twilight said that Barry's gone. "But how..... he's been on the couch for the past four days ... maybe he went to get water or something". (The two ponies headed downstairs and went into the kitchen and saw a glass that was by the fridge still half full and a banana peel that was on the ground, The Back door was OPEN.....)" Oh my," as I ran outside and say Barry stepping through the entrance of the object that had risen from the earth. (Barry's left hand, Cutie Mark of the Gear, was glowing as he stepped through and the door shut quickly as he entered.) " Barry, this is your fiancé Chrysalis please come out here, what's wrong"? (I started to bang on the door. .........No answer from inside......... Twilight went up too her, "didn't you notice his face?" He's sleepwalking," I just can't understand how he got inside that thing..." (Barry Finally wakes up) Pounding came from inside the door. "HEY WHERE AM I? Why are the lights off". I woke up in a weird place, I finally found a light switch and turned it on. (Looking around seeing that he was in some kind of fallout shelter, the radiation alarm system over the door gave it away.) I looked around the shelter and found many documents but they were far too deteriorated for anyone to read, then my mouth dropped as soon as I saw the American flag that was hung on the wall. "An American Fallout Shelter??? here??? But this is a different world unless...................... ............ Unless I am way in the future ....... " I turned franticly and found a computer and turned it on after blowing the I don't know how many years of dust . After the computer started up (which I didn't think would turn on) and data logs started popping up at least a few thousand of them. I opened the last message and it started to play. November 12, 2045 Sir we are running low on supplies and we need to surface the escape hatch so we can get out of here before we die on here (The voice was a young male). No, as long as I'm the Head of this installation, we are not leaving said another voice. I can't allow anyone to leave, it would be deadly since all of the radiation that is outside. MESSAGE CURRUPT.... Dam I wanted to know what happened, There was a Calendar on the computer and it read 9,17, 9910. Wait that can't be right... I checked another computer and it had the same date. I was over 7000 years in the future and it seems that I was the last planet or thinks. To think after 7000 years this facility has survived and to think that ponies ruled the future. My mind was being to think question after question and I knew that I would only get about a few of them answered. By this time I knew that somepony was probably looking for me and I hit a button that said push to open door and the door opened and I walked through only to be tackled by Chrysalis and Twilight. "Hey sweetie, Twilight, umm what's up", I asked? "You don't remember a thing," asked Twilight? "Nope, I just remember waiting up in that old fallout bunker." As I walked towards them Twilight stuck her hoof on my forehead. "Barry you are running a fever, come on inside and Chrysalis and I will take care of you. " As the two females dragged Barry to his bed one of them put an ice pack on his forehead and closed the door behind them. "Chrysalis let Barry rest some more and tomorrow I bet he will be fine.." Once the door was shut, Barry put the ice pack on the ground and went to sleep in the bed. But that could wait, tomorrow when Chrysalis and Twilight went into town, I was planning on going back in the bunker and continue to look around. Chrysalis came in just about sunset and I had put the icepack on the ground and was on my side sleeping and she walked over and put her hoof on my forehead. "Hmmm fevers down." I grabbed my I pod and put my earphones in and started to listening to MY DEMONS by Starset. I got dressed and went outside making sure no one saw me. As I walked up to the metal door and put my hand on the old door and opened it, went inside and shut the door behind me. It took me a second to turn on the lights and when they turned on I realized that some were broken or burnt out. "Dam I don't know If I can get any spare bulbs," I said to myself. I walked around again and this time I took my time at the computer that once told me about the logs and the mysterious date. Pressing a few buttons and I found the entry logs again and opened the very first one. September 21, 2014 The nuclear plant, in Texas had hit critical levels and melted down after many clogged pipes to the reactor. Everyone is looking for a electrician by the name of Barry ...... He has been missing three weeks before the disaster after a meteor crashed into his truck at his house. I hope he is alright, the government is looking for him, wanting to ask him questions. After opening the door I stood in amazement there was a hallway with many doors and a staircase that led down deeper. I looked at one door to my left and tried to open it and it wouldn't budge. "Of course everything metal must of rusted in 7000 years." I ended up finding a crowbar in a room that the door was open and was starting to pry every door I could get open. I found multiple things that would of been useful in the last room I pried open for opening these doors. Almost every door I opened was filled with file cabinets and they contained musty old papers.... I eventually made it down the old concrete staircase and saw a two signs on them to the left was engineering and on the right it broke into three different directions, medical, armory and the last was the living arrangements. I decided to go to the engineering first. I noticed that the door was chained up..... "Why would someone chain up the door? The radiation detection system isn't going off ...." I took the rusty crowbar and smashed the 7000 year old chains which they snapped, "that was easier than expected." After entering the room I noticed a patch on the ground or what was left of it and I bent down to look at it but I left it alone and continued to walk deeper into the engineering. I found out that the facility had 4 I repeat Four PWR nuclear reactors powering the facility, but only one was running while the others were shut down. I saw a computer console still operating but I decided not to mess with it and left engineering. Oh yea, I found boxes and boxes of Light bulbs for the dead ones on the top level. Next on my list was the Medical.... The doors were wide open and a chill ran down my spine.... After stepping through I saw that it was fully stocked , well was fully stocked when the facility had shut down everything in medical was about rotted. I left the medical and went to the Armory, I noticed that on the ceiling inside the Armory was a machinegun turret following me as I looked around, and it was all fully stocked but I was on edge with that gun following me with a blinking light. "Please don't shoot me," I repeated over and over again. (Meanwhile with Chrysalis and Twilight)) "So what do you think?" she was holding different outfits as Twilight was looking at her. "I say the green dress." Twilight said. "I noticed that Barry's fever was gone this morning, I wonder if he is out of bed already?" "Hmm, well Chrysalis I bet he went into that metal structure that is in your back yard again." "Your probably right Twilight." (Back with Barry) I walked up to the Apartment section of the complex not expecting much but a lot of rust and clutter. To my surprise everything was well preserved. I opened one of the doors and saw that the bed was nicely tucked in, and as I walked in I went over to a dresser and saw clothes in them; Blue jeans, t shirts and various other clothing. "Well I got some new clothing, if it fits and doesn't turn to dust." I continued through the rest of the rooms and they were exactly the same, the only thing about this facility was that I couldn't find any reason on how or where everyone went too. I never did find any dead bodies or remains. At the end of the Apartment complex I found yet again another staircase and went down it. I found the kitchen and the Mess hall, nothing special here but I could of continued further but I decided to go back to the surface and check on everypony. It took me a few minutes to retrace my steps and when I made it back up topside, boy did I have surprise waiting for me. There in front of me as I took a step out the door and as it closed was Celestia and everybody... "Ahh Barry, so you going to tell me what is down there?" I looked at Barry as he tried to speak. "It's is just an old fallout shelter from my time, and its abandoned I believe, I haven't completely searched it but I've went through most of it and its clean." I wasn't going to tell her everything just yet. "So it is completely safe?" "Well I searched the first two floors but I haven't checked the third just yet." Looking down, "it looks like everyone eventually died off but that what can happen in 7000 years...." "Wait 7000 Years? How is that possible?" I realized that I was almost 5000 years old give or take, I forget lol. "Well that's what the computer told me in the last log, and after reading the first log I found out that the power plant I worked for had melted down and released a huge cloud of radiation and then more and more of these plants started to do the same thing until the whole world had about died out...." I used my magic to draw a crummy drawling of the nuclear plant I worked out. "Interesting..... so when your species died off it gave birth to our race ... after the terraforming." I raised my eye, "Terraforming?" "Yes back in the early days we had to renew the planet so that it was inhabitable again. " "Ok, well I did find this one message that a friend put on the computer inside, basically since the day I vanished from my time, I because a terrorist to my own people. Because no one knew where I had gone. "Looking down." Back in my time, a terrorist is one who would of been shot on site no mercy." I placed my hand on the door causing it to open and took one step back inside and letting the door behind me close and lock. I walked down into the fallout shelter again, my magic gone. I decided to go to the mess hall and see what they had still in stock, I knew probably not much but wouldn't know until I tried. I pressed a button and a voice appeared out of nowhere. "What can I get for you sir?" "Who's there??? Show yourself!!" "What can I get for you sir; Soda, water, some beef Jerky food." "Ummm Pepsi and some jerky." I wasn't expecting anything but I was letting the voice humor me. Until it actually came to me on a small robot. "Here you go sir." Robot went back to where ever it came from. "Dam 7000 year old food and drinks, I wonder?" Took a bite out of the Jerky knowing full well I could get very sick from this, "DAM this is good." Next, I tried the Pepsi and the same with that. Right now I didn't want to really see anyone including Chrysalis. Was she with them? My mind was full of questions and I wasn't sure if I'd ever get the truth. I took another swig of my soda surprising that it was still good after all of this time. I decided to continue my exploring of the rest of the shelter. I found the last room after discovering the small sewage plant, the lab but one door laid in front of him. Cyro.... "Cyro?" I was confused, "we didn't have this kind of technology in my time..." I slowly pushed the door open. I was in shock, there were tubes everywhere, filled with liquid and producing bubbles. I looked into one of them and what I saw literally scarred me half to death, there stood in front of me was a human being.... "Holy shit, ....now how do I wake them up?" I looked around and saw no control panels .... "HOW DO I WAKE THEM UP?" ..... "There must be thousands of them..... This will take some time." I turned around and turned off the lights and went back to the surface and opened the door to see a note laying on the ground and I picked it up. I expect a full report on your findings, I also have Chrysalis with me so you have one day for a report, if you are late by any reason....... (ran out of paper) "Hmmm, must be from Celestia or Luna.... and what does Chrysalis have in this.... besides our unborn child.... THE CHILD....." I got some paper and started to write everything down that I saw, except for a few things like the Armory, and the Chryo Chambers. After about 40 minutes of writing and finished my report, I caught something move out of the corner of my eye. I knew somepony was watching me . I put a Ward on the fallout shelter door so no one would be able to open the door, I had the perfect one too since I know that these ponies knew nothing of my world in the past so it was easy. I walked to the house and grabbed a few things that I knew I'd probably need. But before I left I put my personal items back in the first room in the fallout shelter on the bed including the tv, 360, shotgun. Once I left the fallout shelter, I felt a sudden burst of magic flowing through me and I remembered the spell Chrysalis had taught me that allowed me to teleport. My right hand started to glow and then the next thing I knew I was in Canterlot appearing just a foot in front of one of the guard ponies. (THUMP) The guard freaked out and knocked me out with his spear. (3 hours later) "OH MY HEAD," I looked around as I had my hand on my head and then I found myself in a bed......"Do I even want to know........" I sat up and decided to try and get out of the bed and to my surprise I had no problem. I walked out of the room and I noticed where I was I was in a corridor that ran through the Canterlot Castle.... Chrysalis!!!! I made my way towards the throne room and pushed the heavy doors open walking in ..... "What the hell....." I looked at Luna, Celestia, Twilight, and Chrysalis. I took a few steps back and used my magic to shut the doors in front of me. "Did my eyes just show me what I think I saw???" I wanted to take another look but I decided best not. My hand glowed and I teleported into the gardens below. (Chrysalis) "So umm, should we go check on him???" "Naw," said Luna. They all stayed in what they were doing for another hour and then Chrysalis went looking for Barry to tell him it was time for lunch. She checked his room and found nothing. Next she looked around the castle and still no Barry. Lastly she checked the gardens and found him sleeping under a tree. "Barry, I've found you at last." Chrysalis sat down next to him and lowered her head to his chest. "Yep you found me," holding her, "so what's the plan now?" "Well after that guard knocked you out,.... they brought you to the infirmary and you dropped your letter on the floor and we were discussing it and having fun while you rested." "Well that explains a lot," I kissed her forehead. I ran a hand down to her belly and started to rub her. "Well the little one and me have been having a wonderful time bonding and even though I am only just 4 months pregnant out of the normal 11 months. Back in your time, how long did it take to have a child?" "About 9 months," I watched her eyes lighten up. I laughed as the tub was being overrun by bubbles and then Barry was hidden by a wall of bubbles. "Aren't you going to clean your future bride?" I asked, waiting for him to say something. "Yep, I felt him take some shampoo and lather it in my long hair and he made sure to get all of it and then with a pitcher of warm water he got all of the soap out of my hair. Then he started to clean the rest of my body. As he cleaned me I could not help moan a little as he played around with my breasts and then he cleaned my ass and marehood. I decided to take her to the living quarters and the mess hall. I could see how impressed she was about how the living quarters looked. When we got to the mess hall, I could see that she was slowly wearing out and let her sit in one of the chairs in the mess hall. "Are you ok, Chrissy?"I asked. "Yea just not used to all the stairs." "You stay right here for a few minutes, I'm going to get us something to drink." I walked into the kitchen area and came back within a couple of minutes and handed Chrissy a can of Pepsi. "Here this is for you." She took the can and looked at it. "Um, Barry what is this? And where is the water?" I grinned, "here like this," showing her how to open the can. I took a sip out of my can, just as she finally opened her can, the fizz scared her. "Woa," I looked at the now opened can I had in my hand and brought it up to my nose to smell it. "This is not going to poison me right?" "Well, I'm still alive," chuckled. "Haha very funny, just remember whose carrying your little one right now." I took a sip of the drink and my eyes went wide. "What do you call this stuff? It's good!" "It's called a soda, and the flavor is Pepsi." I took another sip. "Well, it's good, so well let's get on with the rest of the tour." I got up and took his hand and pulled him out of his seat. "Ok, I see you want to continue, so let's get on going I got just a couple of more rooms to show you and then we are finished. Then I'll take you out for dinner, how does that sound?" "Sounds like a date to me." I smiled happily as he continued to show me around. I saw the apartments and thought that their living arrangements really were similar to ours but they always wore clothes.. After I let Chrysalis out of the shelter, I closed the door and put the wards back on the door and grabbed my bag of bits and we went out to dinner. Chrysalis had ordered her favorite daisy sandwich while, I ordered fries. We ate in peace until it was time to leave and as I walked her home. It took us about five minutes to get back home. I opened the door and let her in first and then I followed and as we made it to the bedroom, as Chrysalis laid on the bed she found a scroll that had Celestia's symbol on it.. In four months me and Luna would like a personal tour, I know right now your probabily cleaning up the place and making sure everything is normal, and Luna says she's courious. Celestia and Luna Chrysalis looked at Barry. "...Ok.... well Barry looks like we get to clean tomorrow." Watched him sit on the bad next to me . "Well mostly me but, I'll let you help me if you want too but shouldn't you just relax and have your little changelings do your bidding on whatever you want them too do?" "I could but they are still playing in the forest and I don't have to bother them while they are on break. Besides I'd rather be useful and help you, besides making our little one. Also don't forget about our doctor appointment tomorrow." "Yes I remembered that appointment you made." Pats her on her back, I took her clothes as she changed back into or original form. "So how are you feeling, right now?" "Fine sweetie, I got under the covers as Barry went to the bathroom and showered. When Barry came back in a pair of shorts and got into the bed with Chrysalis, and went to sleep next to her. The next morning after breakfast Barry and Chrysalis were getting ready over to the doctor so they could do a check up on the baby. "Hurry up Barry, or we are going to be late." "I'm putting on my shoes the fast as I can." I got up and caught up too her. "See I'm ready." We walked together and when we arrived to the doctor's office Chrysalis signed in. We sat down together and waited for the doctor to come and ask for them. "Miss Chrysalis, please come in the doctor is ready for you." Nurse Redheart said. As I followed Chrysalis the nurse told me I had to stay in the lobby but Chrysalis said he comes with me. The nurse then said come along this way. When we go to the room Nurse Redheart told Chrysalis to lay on the bed. "Ohhh its cold." The nurse then put some kind of Jelly on Chrysalis's belly then put a machine on her. "It tickles." The nurse started to do the ultrasound on Chrysalis and the screen appeared the new unborn little one. "Look Barry, There is our little one!!" She smiled, " So, nurse is it a colt or a filly?" "Well darling, you are at least four months pregnant and it seems your carrying a colt and a filly, and congratulations you are having twins!!!" She put the machine away and came back with a picture of the ultrasound and gave it to Chrysalis. Then she cleaned the gel off of Chrysalis. "There you go Miss Chrysalis you are free to go now and have a good day." I looked at Barry with tears in my eyes. "Twins," I whispered. I bent down next to her and put my arm around her giving her a hug. "Yep, it will be alright sweetie." Wow both a boy and a girl," I thought. We walked back home and I prepared lunch for us, Chrysalis was still looking at the photo memorized. While she was looking at the photo, I went the bedroom and grabbed a diamond ring that was under my pillow and walked back to Chrysalis who was finally eating lunch. I sat next to and looked at the photo. "Wow they are beautiful aren't they?" "Yes they are, I just hope we are ready to be parents. I want them to be happy when they are born. I ... also want us to be happy also." I looked at Barry and he smiled. "We will be the best patents we can be." I took the ring out of my pocket. "Chrysalis will you marry me?" I put the ring on her horn. "YES yes I'll marry you!" I was ecstatic that he proposed to me, I wanted to jump for joy but decided not since I'm carrying twins. I kissed Barry long on the lips. After dinner, Barry put the picture of the ultrasound into a picture frame and Chrysalis hung it on the wall on her side of the bed. She laid down on the bed putting her new ring on her bed stand and laid closely to Barry, laying her head on his shoulders. Barry put his arms around Chrysalis and they both feel asleep. Barry had been cleaning up the Fallout shelter and it was starting to look really good and clean. The apartment rooms were all clean prepared just in case. I learned firsthand not to use magic inside the base or the radiation alarms go off. I also put a huge bookcase in front of the cyro room door so that I didn't have to explain it to them. I didn't put any wards on the door to try and hide it in fear that Celestia and Luna would be able to sense it and then ask questions. Chrysalis is now seven months pregnant and the twins are showing . When in her human form she has a little difficulty walking long distances otherwise perfectly healthy, she tried helping Barry clean up the apartments rooms but ended up sleeping on one of the beds. "Well Chrissy, we are now done with cleaning and can enjoy the next four days to ourselves until Celestia and Luna arrive. So what would you like to do for the rest of our free days. " "Lets just enjoy each other's company," grabbing his arm and led him to the couch. As we sat on the couch, Chrissy laid her head on me and dosed off. "Sweet dreams," kissed her on her forehead. I put my hand on her belly feeling the two little ones inside her. "So in four more months we will have two new members to the family." I dosed off soon after that. After waking up three hours later and a glance at the alarm clock, it was already 3:30 and we slept through lunch. My stomach started to growl. I wanted to get up and make a sandwich but I still had Chrissy sleeping on me and I wanted her to rest and not wake up, so I tried to go back to sleep. Since I couldn't get back to sleep and was starving. I slowly picked up Chrissys head and slowly slipped out of the couch and put her head on a soft pillow. (FREE) I walked into the kitchen and looked at what we had and made a cheese sandwich with just a little bit of mayo and ranch dressing, MY FAVORITE. "Ok, let's practice a little bit of controlling my magic," I rarely used my magic, it's cool and all but since I only got it recently it's never been a real deal with me since I normally see that its used just like my hands. "Ok, I can do this now," I tried a few of the more advanced spells that Chrissy was trying to teach me....... "That spell is too much for me," it drained a lot of my energy, "man these ponies must have a lot of energy, if they can do multiple spells and I struggling with just one right now." I went back inside and found that Chrissy moved back to the bed, just as I was about to walk into the room, she busted out of the room and ran into the bathroom. "....... ........ ....." I was confused at what I just saw. "Chrysalis, are you all right?" No, answer............ I slowly opened the door to find her sitting on the floor and her head in the toilet. "Are you ok sweetie?" She looked up at me and her head went back down in the toilet, throwing up. I walked up to her and sat on the stool and rubbed her back. "Everything will be ok," I just repeated saying that over and over again. I then realized she hadn't done this since early in her pregnancy...... I looked at her and just continued to rub her back. I sat with her in the bathroom for about five minutes when she finally stopped puking and sat up. I grabbed a wet cloth and cleaned her. "So are you feeling better now?" "Yes Barry, I feel much better now, let's go lay down in the bed, I'm exhausted." We got up and walked back to their bedroom and laid down on the bed. I laid down and laid my head of Barry. I watched Chrysalis fall asleep and I guess she like using me as a pillow. I never quite understood why but right now I was also starting to feel sleepy and then closed my eyes. "Barry's Dream" I walked around on the beach, I picked up a sand dollar looked at it and put it back down in the water. Hostility appeared behind him. "Hello Barry, how are you?" "Ah Hostility, it's been long time, and how are you today?" "I saw you last night as you dreamt," Chrysalis walked up and sat by Barry. "Ah so this is the lovely Chrysalis." "Yes, Hostility, you are correct." Chrysalis and I sat in two beach chairs, and Chrysalis put her book on her tummy as she got comfortable. I pulled out another chair for Hostility. "Want to take a seat bro?" "No, I'm good, its time for me to do my thing," he turned around as he started to kill everypony in his path. While Hostility did his thing, Chrysalis sat reading her book while Barry was trying to find a song to play on his I pod. He ended up playing AC DC. I knew that my dream was boring but It was just that way to keep Hostility under control. Occasionally he would bring up some useful information or papers that I wouldn't catch during the day. After a while I ended up turning off my I pod and went into the water and swam. While swimming, Chrysalis put her book down and came in the water swam with me. Even while carrying the twins, she was still happy as could be. Hostility joined the swim later but as soon as he entered the water, it started turning red with the blood running into the water from all of the dead ponies. "Ahh relaxation." Chrysalis giggled as Hostility tried to stay afloat. (Everything froze but Barry and Hostility.) "What in the hell?" I looked at Hostility. "Hey don't look at me I didn't do this!" Hostility said. Just as they got Chrysalis back into her chair (She was still frozen), Luna appeared out of thin air and walked over to them. She froze for a few seconds when she saw Hostility. "Hello Barry, ..... Hostility. How are you two doing this evening?" "We are doing well, Miss Luna," replied Hostility. "What brings you here?" "I just wanted to remind Barry that we would be arriving tomorrow around lunchtime." I looked at Barry. "You did remember about tomorrow right?" "Yes Luna, I remember and we are ready for your visit, and you're going to arrive before lunch time right?" "If that is what you would wish, Barry." "If is ok with you and your sister, I'll have something special for you two for lunch, something that came from my time. " "It sound delighted, WE SHALL ARRIVE TOMMROW!! " She said in the royal Canterlot voice. As Luna vanished Barry and Hostility looked at each other as the dream continued and Chrysalis wondered how she got back in the chair. Barry reassured her that everything was ok and nothing was wrong. (Waking up) I opened my eyes and saw Chrysalis, she was drooling on her pillow. She looked so peaceful as she slept her long mane all frizzled, her little crown laid on its little spot on the nightstand. All was well and I looked at the clock and it was 6:45, I decided to get dressed and prepare breakfast for Chrysalis. I made pancakes and as the last pancake came off the stove and I put it on a plate, as I brought the plates to the table and got some coffee ready, Chrysalis came to the table and sipped her coffee. "Barry these pancakes smell delicious," She used her magic to levitate her fork and took a bite out of her pancakes, "Woops forgot the syrup." I put syrup on the pancakes and resumed eating them. Barry sat down and poured syrup and started to eat. "Well you ready to get this over with Celestia and Luna today? Also don't worry about lunch because I have it all planned out." "Ahh that is sweet of you Barry," Kissed his cheek," and yea I'm ready. So what are you making for lunch?" I gave him a curious look. "It's a surprise, but it's something from my era. I know its a salad but the ingredients are over seven thousand years old...." I smiled. I still have the original seeds that we can grow and produce an ancient food back in its original state. " "Wow that's awesome Barry. I now can't wait till lunch now!" I put my off on my belly, "Barry, one of them are kicking," I put Barry's hand on my belly. "Wow, that's amazing," kissed her on her cheek. "Ain't that a little early for only 7 months pregnant?" "Yea, I suppose, but either way I like the feeling." I got up and headed to the couch. "Barry I'll let you get the preparations, and I'll wait here till the princesses come ." "Ok, sweetie, you have fun," I kissed her on her lips and walked into the fallout shelter and started to get a few logs printed out so that Celestia and Luna could read a little and learn about the base. I had some refreshments out in the mess hall, which was just a six pack of Pepsi in a bucket with ice. Knowing I only had a limited amount of my favorite soda, I was sad but, if preserving this facility and the people who were asleep in cyro, it would be worth it. I looked at a clock and saw that I had an hour before they arrived so I went back to the surface and went inside. "Hey sweetie, I'm going to take a shower if you need me." As I walked past her, I rubbed her mane. "Ok, Barry," I watched him head to the bathroom and then went back to reading my book. As Barry was in the shower, Chrysalis tried to squeeze herself into a dress but was unable to do to her twins that were inside her. She soon gave up on it and went back to the couch and combed her mane. Barry came out within five minutes in a towel and headed straight up to the room and got dressed, sat back down next to her after dressed in a formal attire that he had taken from the shelter. Barry's uniform was a black polo shirt that had Vault 01 Overseeyer and was also wearing black blue jeans. Knock Knock "Well its game time Chrysalis." I got up and answered the door, and there they stood, Celestia, Luna, and Twilight? "Hello Barry are you and Chrysalis ready?" Luna said happily. Hello Barry, I hope you don't mind that Twilight comes along," Celestia said. "No problem, Let me get Chrysalis and we will begin. " I went in and got Chrysalis and we all went towards the door of the shelter. I raised my hand and my magic started to flow as I removed the wards off of the door. "Now I must tell you all the one rule. Do not use magic, or you will set off the radiation alarms and the base will become sealed and lower itself back into the earth..." I saw Twilights eyes widened . "What is radiation?" Asked Twilight. "Well Twilight, radiation is well, its hard to explain but back in my time we tried everything to prevent radiation from touching us, because in certain amount of doses it will poison us and we will die. Don't even ask me how magic sets off the alarms, because I don't fully understand myself." "Ok," said Twiight. All three ponies nodded and then Barry opened up the door. "Ladies first." Twilight giggled and the four ponies entered. "This room right here is the Overseeyer's office, and the Overseeyer , was the person who ran the whole facility. "So this would be where Celestia and Luna would be if they were humans when the facility was being used? Said Twilight. "You are correct Twilight." Luna was looking at some of the notes that were laid out on the desk, while Celestia and Twilight listened to what Barry was saying. Chrysalis sat in the Overseeyer's chair to let her legs rest. "So Barry, this place was like a sanctuary, pace of refuge, am I correct?" Celestia asked. "Yes, you are correct." They continued down the hall and stopped at the junction in the end of the hall. To the Left was the Reactor and to the right was Kitchen, Mess hall Living arrangements and Lab. (I took the time to remove the cyro label off the wall and make it like it was never there.) "Ok to our left is the reactor that powers this facility, I would like to go in but we can't due to a possible of an radiation leak." (There was no way I was going to let them in there.) "AWWW," Twilight wined , but Celestia quickly stopped her with a hoof to the side. Luna walked in amazement. "So there is no magic at all in this facility," Celestia asked? "Yes, there is no magic, we humans didn't have the power to harness magic like you guys do. We had technology that allowed us to do many things." I told them about a little of it, they could wait till they got to the library. "Next in our stop are the living arrangements, but I prefer to just say apartments. " I had the doors already open so they could look in each of them. "Wow, these are some small rooms," Luna said as she climbed on top of the bed. "Hey this is very nice." Barry laughed as Luna tried to sleep on the queen sized mattress. "Sister , please stop playing around and take this seriously." "Its ok Celestia, let Luna have some fun, after all, I can make the bed later again. Next is the mess hall for lunch, Now I know you have these all the time since your herbivores, but this which we are about to eat are the original vegetables from my time, grown from hard work and sweat and not magic." As they each took a seat in the mess hall, I brought them each a large salad, with all the fillings and then a varity of dressings. (I had no intentions to tell them about the gardening sector behind the kitchen back doors. ) As we all sat down, I got each pony a Pepsi out of the bucket of Ice that was on the table and opened it for them and we ate and drank the soda. Luna took a sip of hers and then chugged the soda down with a few big gulps, Celestia looked at her as she released a huge BURRRPPP. "LUNA." "Excuse me," Luna said blushing. "Barry, you said that this is the original vegetables from your time?" "Yes Luna, these haven't evolved in 7000 years." I was glad they were enjoying themselves. After lunch Barry showed them the medical office, labs and the Library, which Twilight pulled out a old book and started to read it.... "Barry this is simply amazing, your library has thousands of years worth of knowledge," Twilight said as she started reading. I saw Celestia looking at the bookshelf that I moved to cover the Cyro door, I was starting to get a little nervous, (not showing it so I wouldn't get discovered) Luna looked at a few books. "And I've saved the last room for last, the armory. Didn't think that this facility would be able to defend itself?" I noticed Luna wispier something to her sister and I could guess what it was about. I explained how they operated but never shot them, because anything can happen over the course of 7000 years. After that I let them answer any questions they wanted. And of course Twilight asked if she could take some of the books to the library and read them and I agreed, I wasn't going to read them anytime soon. After that the tour was over, and we all headed back up to the surface. The sun was setting. "Thank you Barry for the tour, we will be in touch," Celestia said. Luna gave Barry a hug and she and her sister vanished into thin air. Twilight took some of the books from the facility library, with of course Barry's permission. As Twilight went home Barry and Chrysalis went inside, Barry made her favorite dish for dinner. "Barry you didn't have to make this for me, I would be happy with with just a simple daisy sandwich." Kissed his cheek and started to eat the meal he had repaired while he went and took a shower. After I took A shower, I sat next to Chrysalis who was now laying on the bed. "Tired sweetie?" "No not really, my hooves just hurt from walking and carrying our twins." I felt Barry put his hand around me. "I'm sorry sweetie, anything I can do to make you feel any better?" "No Barry, I'm good, all I need is to stay off my hooves for a while and I'll be alright." I took Barry's and held him tightly. "So any ideas for a names?"I looked at him. "I think I'd like to have something both human and changeling name.... what do you think?" "I think that's an excellent idea." Patted him on his back. "Good night love, tomorrow we shall plan our wedding." I closed my eyes as Barry shut the lights off. "Night Chrysalis and sleep tight," I got under the covers and laid next to her and feel asleep. Throughout the night Barry had reoccurring nightmares , that something was disturbed in the facility and the base went into total lockdown with HALON systems Activated.... Author's Note Halon systems displaces oxygen and is someone is caught in the room where it is activated they got seconds before they can suffocate. Any Ideas where this will lead too?
