Hail Storm is a dark gray stallion (well he's just a filly first in the story) He's a Pegasus too! Hail Storm's Cutie mark is a cloud with 3 falling hail rocks under it.
Hail Storm has just been transferred to Ponyville's Elementary school. Diamond Tiara pick on him as if he were one of the Cutie mark crusaders. Diamond Tiara's friend, Silver spoon has a crush on Hail storm even though her friend forbids her from ever being around him. Hail Storm has no friends but only few of his class mates likes to play with him.
But he pays less attention to class because of a mysterious mare in his class. Gear Miner was her name but the class just called her Geary. Silver spoon could see the way he looked at her and knew he liked her. She then started thinking of plans to win him over. Mean while, Hail storm starting to make a friendship with Gear miner and they continue to bond as friends over the past few weeks.

Will Hail Storm ever get the courage to tell Gear Miner that he likes her?

First Day Of School

"Hail Storm! Time for school!" Hail storm was just 9 or about 10 years old. His mother, Cloud Washer, waited patiently at the door as Hail storm came rushing down the stairs. Hail storm was a little Pegasus with a dark gray body and light brown hair. "Don't forget your lunch now." His mother said, still waiting at the door.

"Okay mom! I'm gonna go to school now, Bye!" Hail storm waved to his mother from behind and flew off to school. This was Hail storm's first day of school and he couldn't wait to make new friends!

Hail storm soon arrived at Ponyville's Elementary school and stepped his hoof inside. He suddenly felt uneasy and shy. He fully stepped in the room and stood by the teacher's desk. Soon after, the teacher stepped into the room and Hail storm smiled at her like she was the fat old Santa. "Good morning class," The teacher began, "Today we have a new student!" She flicked her tail at me and then I felt uneasy again. The teacher wrote on the board ' Miss. Winder' and suddenly put the a piece of chalk in my hoof.

"Would you mind writing your name on the black board?" I stared at her then I stared at the class. Don't be nervous! Your just writing your name. Hail storm said to himself. I took the chalk and wrote my name. (Of course you already know my name so I guess I should tell you what I wrote.)

"Well nice to meet you Hail storm. You can take the empty seat next by Silver spoon." I nodded and sat down in the seat. I could see Silver spoon writing. So was the whole class. I took out a sheet of paper and started writing too. Soon after first period, we handed in our creative writing and went outside for recess.

As I walked out, Silver spoon ran in front of me and I just stared.

"Hi! I'm Silver spoon. Do you wanna hang out?" I was suddenly shocked by the question. Wasn't it a bit too early for asking the new kid to hang out? "You don't have to, but I'd really appreciate it!" I smiled and nodded and followed her to the sandbox. I knew Silver spoon had a little crush on me. I was really good at telling other ponies emotions. My mom says I'm like a storm looking for secrets to destroy! I started to help Silver spoon make her castle untill her friend, Diamond tiara, walked up to me.

"Just what do you think your doing? She's my friend and she doesn't hang out with blank blanks!" I could feel my bones tensing by how she said those words 'Blank blanks'. "It doesn't matter. I'm still enjoying the adventures I do before I find out my talent." I said to her smiling. She grabbed Silver spoon's hoof and brought her by the door.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Diamond tiara screamed. "W-Well, I'm just...just hanging out." Silver spoon replied. "You don't 'hangout' with blank blanks." Diamond tiara explained to Silver spoon of what could happen to her if she had kept on hanging out with Hail storm. "He's not that bad! Your just jealous cause I 'm hanging out with you!" Silver spoon smirked at her friend hoping she said the right thing.

"I can tell you like him by the way you said that. You dump your hangout 'pal' and don't ever speak to him again!" Diamond tiara's head wear had almost fallen off and she soon calmed down as Silver spoon walked up to Hail storm.

"So? What do you think of your castle-" I was interrupted as Silver spoon spoken. "Your not hanging out with me anymore you blank blank! I don't hangout with 'lame' ponies. I never really liked you anyways." I was shocked but still feeling good because not everypony makes a friend when they're new.

"Um...Okay?" I stood up and walked up to Featherweight by the swings and he said that we could hangout. The only friends he had were Snails and Snips so it wasn't much fun for him.
