It was an average day for buttonmash, wake up, eat some food, go to school, eat some more, come home, play video games, shower then sleep...or so it was supposed to be until a 'unexpected' visitor came...
"Hey Button!"
"What Babs?"
"Can I stay here for a bit? got some 'problems' with my folks"
"Sure...just dont touch ANYTHING."
She shrugs and goes to find her friend, being surprised to see him on the couch without a controller in his hand.
"what you doing?" she asks, cocky grin on her face.
"waiting for you."
"why is that?"
"i need you to play this match for me...i suck at free for all." the game screen was sitting on MW2's multiplayer screen.
"really? this games old as hell..."
"yea well...i cant seem to play it like black ops so just go shoot something." she shrugs and grabs the controller, sits down and begins to play the game, after about an hour she puts down the controller and looks at button, he was playing something on his phone. "what are you playing now?" she asks,
"some retarded dating sim...its getting annoying trying to get this person though."
"try to boost, just get some cash, ladies like that..."she chuckles a little and he just sighs. "what?"
"you done playing?"
"nah, just waiting for the next match."
"well, play! its on!"
"oh crap."
after another two hours of that, a loud clap of thunder slams outside, "its raining?" babs asks button, "would appear so." babs gets up to look out the window, noticing she cant even see out it, she goes back to the couch when suddenly buttons phone goes off.
"hello?....oh hey mom....really, well alright...okay, love you too, bye..." he hangs up and groans. "whats the matter?"
"moms stuck in manehatten for possibly another week, their getting a storm harder than that!" as he points to the window another clap of thunder sounds, making babs jump, "damn...i dont think i can get home in this..." she looks over at button and asks, "can i stay here tonight?" he shrugs and says, "fine by me...i'll go grab you some stuff in a sec just...let..me...DAMNIT!" he almost throws his phone in annoyance, "dating sim that hard?"
"No, its this stupid minigame thats supposed to give me XP so i can improve my skills and get the girl!"
"thats still kinda sad, your trying to get a girl on a video game..."
"what girl wants to be with some lazy sack of videogame knowledge..."
"dude, lots of girls, ever notice silver spoon? she's into crap like deadspace and halo!"
"yea yea...but you know she has a girlfriend already."
"yea...it was just an example dude."
they sit there in silence before button grabs another controller. "were gonna quick scope" babs shrugs and lets him set up the game.
after two hours, a 32-0 lead by babs and a currently raging buttonmash, babs was having the time of her life! "HOW DO YOU KEEP DOING THAT!" button yells as she scopes him from across the map.
"skills son!" she says, doing it again, utterly pissing button off, he throws his controller and sits back. "God damn your too good at this babs, how do you get so good without actually owning the game?"
"you make me do all the 1-v-1's when im here, i just got good."
"alright...i'll go get your bed set up i guess."
after he sets up a bed on the couch, they settle down to watch some t.v. but evidentally end up watching the weather.
"Looks like pony ville, manehatten, los pegasus, and philly delphia arent getting out so easily here, their getting strong flood warnings and high wind adviseries and this is just the start of the storm! so hope you people stay safe and dry tonight, cause it may not last long!" babs shakes her head and says, "looks like im going to be here a while...should probably call applejack..." she pulls out her phone to call her cousin.
after their conversation ends, button asks if babs wanted to talk instead of play video games. "well thats different..." she crawls across the couch and puts her hand on his forehead, "What are you doing?" he asks, "seeing if your sick...which you appear to be fine...so why do you want to talk?"
button bites his lower lip and says, "babs, why do you always wanna hang out with me? dont you like to hang out with diamondtiara or applebloom?"
"yea, but your more fun to hang out with..." she slightly blushes when she notices how close she still is to him, she sits back and wonders, 'da fuq?' "is that all?" he asks,
"well...your also the only person i can truly trust,in all honesty...besides pinkiepie, but your my friend."
'oh, well...okay then..." he sorta blushes when he notices how she is staring at him, "why do you bring this up, buttonmash?"
"well...i...i...um...'" he looks her in the eyes, and she rolls her eyes and asks, "you like me dont you?"
"yea, um, well kinda...uh..." she giggles, and pulls him into a passionate kiss, he seems thrown off but ends up enjoying it. and babs just dosnt let up is what he finds out, using his hand, he slightly pushes her away long enough to get out, "damn your good" before she begins kissing him again...
