Last Nap

It was midnight the forest floor was quiet. All except for the few animals that came out at this time. Of course Brian and his brother Mark were here as well but aside from their breathing they made no sound. All the while Brian was thinking of how his world spiralled out of control in one fail swoop. I'll make her pay, he thought.  I will have my revenge, but first he had to find a safe house for his brother.  He couldn't leave him unprotected and alone by himself with everything happening.  He had a friend he could trust the hard part was getting to her and her girlfriend.

He loaded his gun and sat against a tree stump whistling a song his mother taught him when he was younger. He looked at his brother who was fast asleep by now. He had to make sure he was safe he wouldn't rest until he was.  Then he heard talking from the dirt road a couple of yards from his location.  He walked as close to it as he could while still staying in cover. Then he started listening.

"So what prison are you taking me to now....ooh I got it your taking me to the happy hotel!!"

"Silence prisoner I'm taking you to princess Luna you will be her personal servant."

"Couldn't you just say slave cone head?"

"Ugh why do I have to take you everywhere?"

At this point Brian knew that it was a prisoner and royal gaurd. He took a peak through the shrubbery.  It was a human and a royal unicorn gaurd. He could ambush the gaurd from his position and may e get the convict to help him. Its better than nothing he thought. He lined up his shot and put a bullet right through the gaurds head. Luckily the convict just stood there and laughed his ass off until Brian got there. Then the convict spoke,

"Sup my name is david Sorrento what is yours friend? "

"My name is Brian cole i was hoping since I saved you that you would consider helping me." David put hand to his chin and 3 seconds later he shrugged and said,

"Sure I've got nothing better to do. What is it you're doing? "

"Right now im trying to get my brother to a safe house so I can get to my revenge. "

"Alright lets go get you're bro." And the two walked into the darkness of the night. As they walked they talked and told each other about their lives before the new law passed. Apparently David was arrested for drinking to much at a bar one night and he ended up killing two ponies. One was named Blueblood and the other hoity toity.  They were supposedly high elites in canterlot who went to the wrong bar on the wrong night.

When they arrived at the camp Brian had made the place was ransacked and worst of all.....Mark was missing.
