All except for the few animals that came out at this time. Of course Brian and his brother Mark were here as well but aside from their breathing they made no sound. All the while Brian was thinking of how his world spiralled out of control in one fail swoop. I'll make her pay, he thought.  I will have my revenge, but first he had to find a safe house for his brother.  He couldn't leave him unprotected and alone by himself with everything happening.  He had a friend he could trust the hard part was getting to her and her girlfriend. He loaded his gun and sat against a tree stump whistling a song his mother taught him when he was younger. He looked at his brother who was fast asleep by now. He had to make sure he was safe he wouldn't rest until he was.  Then he heard talking from the dirt road a couple of yards from his location.  He walked as close to it as he could while still staying in cover. Then he started listening. "So what prison are you taking me to now....ooh I got it your taking me to the happy hotel!!" "Silence prisoner I'm taking you to princess Luna you will be her personal servant." "Couldn't you just say slave cone head?" "Ugh why do I have to take you everywhere?" At this point Brian knew that it was a prisoner and royal gaurd. He took a peak through the shrubbery.  It was a human and a royal unicorn gaurd. He could ambush the gaurd from his position and may e get the convict to help him. Its better than nothing he thought. He lined up his shot and put a bullet right through the gaurds head. Luckily the convict just stood there and laughed his ass off until Brian got there. Then the convict spoke, "Sup my name is david Sorrento what is yours friend? " "My name is Brian cole i was hoping since I saved you that you would consider helping me." David put hand to his chin and 3 seconds later he shrugged and said, "Sure I've got nothing better to do. What is it you're doing? " "Right now im trying to get my brother to a safe house so I can get to my revenge. " "Alright lets go get you're bro." And the two walked into the darkness of the night. As they walked they talked and told each other about their lives before the new law passed. Apparently David was arrested for drinking to much at a bar one night and he ended up killing two ponies. He gripped the paper in his hand tossed it and ran. Heading straight for his parents house. Once he got to their street however their was a group of royal guards banging on the front door. Carefully brian suck round to the back and saw his dad and brother grabbing guns and ammo and his mom grabbing two suitcases.  He jumped the fence and grabbed his brother, "Bro lets go we have to move now their are at leas 10 gaurds at the front all unicorns. Get mom and dad we have to go NOW!" Mark just shook his head and started telling his mom and dad the situation. Meanwhile Brian was picking up a G36C he never knew how are where his dad found these things but now was not the time to ask. He grabbed a box of 5.65 rounds and started loading clips. His dad walked up to him and tugged his shoulder to get his attention. "Son me and your mom have been talking and....well you won't understand now but soon you will. Her and I are going to stay and by your brother time to run. We will hold off the gaurds as long as we can." Tears welled up in Brian's eyes as his father explained his plan to him he started shaking his head and backing away from him and mumbling no. "No dad i wont let...let you be.....killed by the royal bitches hench man i wont allow it if you stay so do i were a family!" "No son you have to go if you don't you and your brother will be taken to now do as I say and go. As he said it Brian grabbed mark and started jogging into the everfree forest nearby the last sound he heard come from the house were gunfire...and explosions. It was then he vowed to avenge them he would kill celestia when the time was right. And he would do it by making death.....his friend.
