Sleep. I wish I could sleep. Sleep is nice. I need food. Food is nice. I sighed. Why can't I have an icebox or something? I blinked open my eyes. Oh? It's morning? Another sleepless night.
I gathered my bow, arrows, and my hat. The hat didn't do much for me. A fedora given to me by... who? A dark blue pegasus? Or was she a unicorn? Or both? Didn't matter. Had to hunt. Knife. Don't forget my knife. I opened my door to my shack. It hit the wall and fell over. I'll fix it on my return. "Bye shack." Talking to nothing keeps me from not going insane. Or was I insane?
Probably, I keep having these mental conversations.
Food. Right. Notching an arrow into my bow I silently flew up to a tree. I wish I could use that horn on the top of my head. I almost sawed it off one day. Definitely insane. I saw a chicken. Pulling my arrow back, I took aim, and fired. Through the back of the head. A closer look told me it was a cockatrice. Good eat'ins. Looks like food is covered. I grabbed it, and threw it onto a fire-pit. I bashed its head in with a considerably sized rock.
I have had them come back alive while I'm cooking them. That's how
my right hind leg got turned to stone. Sometimes it itches. Back to cook'in me a chicken snake. I impaled it with a stick, and let it roast.
Nap time while it cooks.
One nap time later
I woke to a crunch behind me. In one swift movement, I had my bow with an arrow pointed at... another pony?A stallion. In silver armor. Blue mane and tail. I don't like him.
I sent the arrow through his neck. With a spurt of blood he was on the ground.
"Big brother?" A voice whispered. It was like a squeak. A purple pony. She trotted up to her brother. Tears were leaking from her eyes.
I huffed. Sad times. Boring. Add anti-social to insane. "You shot him." Purple pony said. "Yep." I smell finished chicken snake. I walked over to my feast and took a bite. Purple just dry heaved. I tore some off. "You want some?" This proved to much to bear for Purple. She threw up. On her dying brother. "Or you could say no."
There are others now. One white unicorn with a styled purple mane, another blue, rainbow maned pegasus, an orange, blonde earth pony, a pink, pink maned earth pony, and... a beautiful yellow pegasus with a very beautiful mane. one of my wings twitched. Something bad will happen. "Did you bring anypony with you?" My deep voice rumbled. As if to answer my question, I heard two voices screaming some where east. "Lets hope it was a manticore that got them. It would be a fast death." I looked a the pony I shot. "Well Mr. I have been shot, Lets get you inside!" I pick him up. (After wiping some puke off.) And threw him on my bed. I chose the yellow pegasus to put some bandages on the wound. "Alright! Lets learn your names!" The purple pony told me all their names. I hadn't noticed but Fluttershy had been trying to get my attention.
"Um... sir. I need you to get your arrow." Oh her voice! It was like an angel! Wait. Why am I having these thoughts? The arrow! Right. I walked over there and grabbed the arrow in my teeth. "Mister, why don't you use your magic? And pull it to where the feathers won't go through his neck." Twilight asked "I don't know how to use magic." Rainbow Dash snickered. "Some thing funny? Huh? You like laughing at the pain of others? Huh? Asshole." I yanked the arrow out and pointed it at her. Although it was not in the bow. Everypony looked shocked at my outburst.
Days later
"Well, all three of your guides are dead or dying so, I guess I will take you back to your home!" I said cheerfully. I'll ditch them. Maybe not Fluttershy. I'll make sure she gets home. And any others who survive.
One trip to Canterlot later
I have had this serious headache. And I feel like I've been here before.
The guards at the castle were not happy with my bow. They let me past after I broke one of their legs.
A huge door led into a throne room with two ponies in it.
A white alicorn, and a blue alicorn.
Upon seeing me, one teared up, and the other cried.
Once she stopped crying, the white alicorn said something surprising.
"Hello brother. We missed you."

Prologue
"Iwanttomeethim! Iwanttomeethim!" Said the hyperactive pink party pony, named Pinkie Pie. She quickly had a hoof in her mouth, by none other than the best flyer in Equestria, Rainbow Dash.
"Pinkie Pie, we all want to meet the new prince but before, we have to see the princess. OK?" Pinkie just nodded her head in a
very cartoon like way. "Girls look! Our train!" All six headt turned, except Fluttershy, Who jumped five feet into the air when the train whistle blew.

The guards at the castle led the ponies into the throne room, even though the princess of the group knew it by heart.
The humongous throne room doors opened to the two princesses of Equestria. "Welcome, my little ponies, it's good to see you!" Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie bowed, but Twilight Sparkle (unceremoniously) run up to her. "Princess!
Who is the new prince! Where is he!" The princess frowned at her.
"Well there is the problem. When Discord told us that there was another member of the royal family, we rushed to have you come to Canterlot. The ponies we sent have reports of a cerberus, changeling outcasts, cockatrice, dragons, and manticores."
Princess Luna stepped up. "And don't forget arrows from the new alicorn."
