The first time we met. January 21 of 109 ad
I was a drake that was bigger then most, but becuase of that, i would get picked on, mostly because of my size. I wore purple braces, had a short buzz cut, but it was messy. My hair resembled soot, fresh soor from the fire as it crackled. My scales where soft back then, dark blue, made me dissapear into the sky at night. My eyes where what most guys, and more likly girls, notice forst about me. They where bright green, like fresh grass after a storm.
High school was a diffucult time. I had few and often times no friends. My ass was kicked several times a day, even after school. When i got into flight school, there i met the most beautiful creature to have ever lived. Silvana Quanasa, a rare beauty amongst this barren waistland of my home. She was the most pure, perfect, gogeous dragoness i had ever met. Her scales where golden, shining brightly when she passed under any light.
Her eyes were of bright silver, both beautiful and rare among dragons. And her hair, oh her hair. She had beautiful locks of red and orange hair. It would seem to flow down her shoulders, a waterfall of two toned beauty. She was a swimmer, captian of the swim team at our school. I was a junior, she was a senior, but i loved her from the moment i saw her.
It was a tuesday, i had just finished practice with some friends in flight school, and went to get a drink from the fountain. Thats when i noticed her, sitting with her friends at a table. Her fruends were pretty and all, but she was gorgeaous. She was beyond gorgeous. She was goddess among mortals. I lifted my head from the fountain and starred, not just look, i starred at her. Drinking in every detail of the beauty before me. When she flipped her hair, i was in the clouds. Turns out, that was my mistake.
I never saw the punch coming, oh but i felt it. I flew back at least ten feet, and then skidded into the wall. I heard a pop from my back, but that could wait. I shook my head and looked up, trying to see who threw that punch at me. "Well well well, what do we have here, boys?" I recognized that voice. I got up and leaned against the wall, a trikle of blood going down my face. "Orana, what the fuck man?" I looked at the biggest dragon in the courtyard. He stood a few feet under my chin, but oh man, he had quite the punch.
He had a dark red coat of scales adorning his body, his underbelly was a light blue. His hair was a mess of green and red, tipped with silver. But his eyes are what scared most. They where a bright blue, arctic blue, icey and cold. He chuckled to himself as i stood tall. "Iana, what where you doing, starring at my girl?" Two of his bodyguards slammed me against the wall, pinning my arms and legs down. "Your girl? She's off the market, asshole!"
A punch in the gut and the air left my lungs. As i struggled to breathe, he walked calmly over to me. "What you call me, bitch?" He forced me to look up at him, glaring. "Let her go, orana." We both turn our heads and see her, standing by the wall. He smirks a little and drops my head, calmly brushing off the blood in his hand. "Silvana, babe. Let the big dragons handle this." I could tell this was gonna get ugly, so by instinct, i struggled against them. "Wanna go? Lets go asshole!"
He seemed to be surprised by my outburst and turned back to me. "Well, seems we need to teach you a lesson, again." His buddys lifted me up again, pinning my shoulders back. He started hitting my gut and face over and over, blood trikling out. He kept going until my face was bleeding, my lios cut and my eye bruised. He stopped, out of breathe. "I-is that... all you got...?" His friends picked my up again, and started taking turns punching the shit out of me. Left, right, left, right. Over and over.
Each blow, i lost more and more blood, but i knew i had to last, had to for her. Once they tired, they dropped my bruised and broken body, blood dripping from my gut and chest. I wheezed and stood up on shaky legs, now pissed. I started laughing, laughing out loud, louder and louder. "Whats so fucking funny?" He grabbed my neck and forced me against the wall, making it crack with the force. "Whats funny... is that now, im pissed..." he had a split second to realize what i meant and tried fleeing, his buddys backing up.
I grabbed his tail and pulled him back to me. I turned him around and looked him dead in the eyes. "You fucked with me... now, i get to fuck you up." I flew upwards, dragging him behind me by his tail, him screaming the whole way. Once high enough, i let him go and started to wail on him, the strength of an army in each punch. Once he had enough, he fell, facefirst into the pond by the school. I huffed and shook in the air until, i too, fell onto the pathway to the lunchroom. I groaned and wheezed, trying despratly to breathe. "Iana!" I looked up just in time to see her, running towards me. I blacked out.
When i woke up, i was in a trange bedroom. Looking around as best i could, i saw a tall bookshelf, filled to the brim with books and even some ontop and to the side. A window with a few plants and animals feeding from the windowsill. I blinked a few times,and looked around some more. I saw a desk with unfinished drawing and paintings, paintbrushes and paints scattered all over. Rags and towels dirtied from use. I smiled a little and sat up in the bed, propping myself up on an arm.
I saw a bucket of warm water and a rag set aside. Bloody water by it. I frowned and looked at myself, most of my wounds healed and wrapped in bloody bandages. I heard the door open, she stepped through and had a tray of fresh bandages and towels in her hand. "I see your awake now, good." She smiled at me and brought the tray over to the bedside and set it down. "Now then, how you feeling?" I layed there, stunned for a few moments before i responded. "U-uh im fine, just a bit confussed..." she nods and grabs a towels.
"Your in my room." I gulped and wondered why, trying to figure this out, but she didnt give me a chance. "I took you home and cared for you, healed most of your wounds..." she took my arm with such gentlness, i swear she was an angel. "This might sting a bit..." she unwrapped the bandage and i hissed, pain searing through my arm. "Sorry, sorry." She slowed down, the pain died down, if only slightly. She smiles a little. "Im silvana... your name?" I smiled as well, seeming to be compelled by her. "Iana, iana universa..."
She took a rag from the tray and placed it in the bucket, a lock of her hair falling into her face. I reached over and gently moved it back behind her horn, bringing her attention to me again. Our eyes met, our hearts beated at once and time seemed to forget us. The room faded away and all that was left was us. Just us. I brushed her cheek gently, showing her that i cared for her, even if it was suttle. She blushed a little, her eyelids closing halfway as she leaned closer to me.
I leaned in the rest of the way, resting a hand on her cheeek as we kissed passionatly, but slowly. Time seemed to slow down, letting this moment last forever, everything in that moment didnt matter.
The next day, i was as happy as a dragon with a massive horde of his own. I flew to school, intent in my heart and determination in my eyes. I landed by the school and combed my hair back, making it slick and nice, a strand of hair falling down my eight side. I cleaned my scles in the water, blow drying with my wings. I put on my lucky tie and adjusted it, checking my horns in the water and nodding when satisfyed.
I looked to the swimming pool and saw her, teaching a new swimmer. I took a few breathes to steady myself, and went towards the pool.
Silvana's perspective, three days before the fight.
High school was always a thrill for me, but being the prettiest drake on campass, it was hard. Rndom dragons i didnt k ow would come up to me, asking me for a date, but i declined them. If they persisted, well, i would just beat them until they said otherwise. Today, i wanted to have a relaxing day with my friends. We would hang out in the courtyard, talk and eat, and just have fun. But today, it was off. I felt, empty, for some reason.
Not empty like hungry, empty like i was missing somthing important, but i didnt know what. Getting my lunch, i walked into the courtyard and sat at the table, distant from everyone else. "Hey silva!" I looked up and groaned. Orana, the jock at school, was coming my way. His thugs by his side. He was not my time, or sex for that matter. "Hey babe, whatcha got today?" He sat by me, placing an arm on me, bringing me closer to him. "Go away, orana."
He persisted though. "Ah, come on babe. I know you love me..." he leaned over and tried to kiss me, but i moved away. "No, orana. I said this before." He seemed to take the hint and moved back a bit. "Why wont you just be with me? I have the biggest horde in school, im strong and well, i love you. Isnt that enough for you?" At this point, he was angry. "Orana, your strong and all, but you dont have my heart..." again,he tried. Moving his hand to my waist. "Orana, move your hand."
He left it there though, taunting me. "You listen here, silvana... you will be mine, wether you want to or not... one of these days, i will have you." He forced me to look at him and kissed me, hard and roughly. I pushed on his chest and got himoff me. "I said no, orana!" I stood up and flew away. But i could hear him laughing. "You will be mine, silvana!"
I didnt look back as i flew back to the swimming pool.
