It was thought that peace would last forever after the first Avol World War was over. Button Mash lived in a time of peace and tranquility in the aftermath of that war. Soon however, that all changes.

The Griffon Kingdom has invaded the Changeling Hives. The Zebra Nation has attacked the Equestrian Empire.

After the last Avol World War, the Equestrian military was decimated, so they now have but one choice: a draft.

This is set in an alternate universe. The Princesses are still immortal and rule Equestria, but they have no control over the sun or the moon. The Mane Six are still called the Elements of Harmony, but they have no extreme magical powers as in the show. Instead, they are more of a supreme council for the Princesses. Lastly, there is more to the Equestrian Military than just the Royal Guard.
