A thief, guided by desire to prove something to himself and a modest amount of greed. A gang leader, responsible for a bunch of idiots. A coal baron, who might (or might not) be what he seems to be. All led to the mansion of quite prosperous Duke, situated near the center of Manehatten. Let the story unfold.

Equestria is a little bit more technologically advanced than in canon and is currently on the edge of war with suspiciously Roman-like zebra Empire (totally not pilfered that idea from a famous fanfic...). WARNING: copious amounts of probably insulting and vaguely Britannic dialect, which I have no excuse for. Please don't be offended, 'tis but a fetish of mine. Also, this happens to be my fist story in English and definitely the first one about ponies, so I'll be extremely happy to hear criticism. Offers to proof-read will be rewarded with digital cookies, for I am as poor as a church mouse, but should any of you find it in your heart... Anyway, good day to you and enjoy the story.
