Chapters Doctor Whooves: Family Feud
Questions, Questions, Questions.
Once again, the Doctor waited for his next companion in his next adventure throughout time and space this time, he was taking Applejack. The Doctor parked the T.A.R.D.I.S outside of Applejack’s barn and waited until Applejack was ready to set off for the adventure of a lifetime.
Meanwhile, inside the barn of Sweet Apple Acers, Applejack had just finished packing up to go, unfortunately she was being distracted by a worried and curious filly, Apple Bloom, who wouldn’t stop asking questions about this mysterious doctor she had just heard of.
“Applejack, I’m worried ‘bout you.” Apple Bloom stated with big puppy eyes.
“Well you shouldn’t, Twilight has travelled with him and she said she came back just fine, but Spike did say there was a bit of bother with a potato, but the Doctor sorted it out!” Applejack explained.
“But who is he?” Apple Bloom nagged.
“Ah don’t know, sugar cube, he’s just a traveller and a friend of Twilight and Spike, his name is just the Doctor.” Applejack said, trying to explain the best she could.
“Where did he come from?” Apple Bloom nagged once again.
“Again, ah don’t know much, he came back through the portal Twilight and Spike went through to get back her crown.” Applejack sighed as she started to get annoyed.
“What species is he? You said he ain’t a pony. What is that blue box? Who is that Jack he brought back with him?” Apple Bloom said as she shouted out questions left, right and centre.
“APPLE BLOOM! Please stop asking questions, if you want to know more, go ask Twilight and captain Jack, they know him a lot more that ah do, now please, let me go, I’m late already, and ah can’t have you askin’ questions twenty four seven.” Applejack said as she was about to explode with rage from Apple Bloom’s nagging.
“Sorry Applejack, go ahead.” Apple Bloom replied with a tear in her eye.
“Look Apple Bloom, but I’m busy at the moment, I’m sorry ah shouted at you, but I’m a little stressed at the moment getting’ ready to leave. If you want to know more about the Doctor ask Twilight, Spike or Jack, they know him better that ah do or you can wait until ah get back and speak to the Doctor in person. Twilight has spoken ‘bout stuff she did with the Doctor and so has Jack, Twilight, Spike and jack are good friends now because they love talking ‘bout their adventures with the Doctor, He sounds amazing by what I’ve heard. But don’t worry, ah will be safe as long as I’m with the Doctor.” Applejack explained.
“Ok, thanks Applejack and good luck with your adventures.” Apple Bloom smiled.
“Thanks sugar cube, now come on, let’s go downstairs and I’ll say goodbye to everyone.” Applejack said calmly.
Applejack and Apple Bloom walked downstairs and outside the barn next to the Doctor and the T.A.R.D.I.S.
“Hey Doctor, I’m ready to go!” Applejack said.
“Excellent, I’ll go get the T.A.R.D.I.S ready for take o-“ the Doctor said as he was cut off by Apple Bloom.
“Hey Doctor!” Apple Bloom shouted.
“Oh, hey little one! Who are you?” the Doctor asked.
“Mah names Apple Bloom, I’m Applejack’s sister!” Apple Bloom explained.
“She’s just a bit curious and wants to know who you are, the Doctor ain’t enough for her and she’s also worried.” Applejack explained.
“Well Apple Bloom, we will need to meet again so I can tell you a bit about myself-“ the Doctor smiled but cut off again by Granny Smith.
“Listen here you jumped up, travellin’, alien freak! If you’re gonna take mah granddaughter on a little joy ride in your lil’ blue kissing booth, ah expect her back here in Sweet Apple Acers safe and sound, got it?!” Granny Smith shouted.
“GRANNY SMITH!” Applejack shouted, she was embarrassed by her.
“Um…” the Doctor wondered in shock.
“I’m very sorry about her, Doctor, she’s also worried about me travellin’ with you.” Applejack explained.
“Look, ma’am, I promise that I will bring Applejack back home safely.” The Doctor replied, startled by Granny Smith.
“Yeah, well you better, or you’ll have Big Macintosh beaten you in every part of your body, and ah mean every part!” Granny Smith said pointing at Big Mac.
Big Macintosh was standing behind Granny Smith, looking into the Doctor’s eyes, and it wasn’t a pleasant look. The Doctor gulped.
“Come on, Doctor, before this gets any more embarrassing than it already is.” Applejack said, not happy with Granny Smith.
“Um, y-yeah, good idea!” the Doctor said nervously as he opened the T.A.R.D.I.S doors.
The Doctor shut the T.A.R.D.I.S doors after Applejack walked in with a sigh of relief.
“Ugh, I’m glad I got away from that.” the Doctor said.
“Yeah, so am ah! Come on, Doctor, get up, it’s time to go!” Applejack smiled.
The Doctor stood up and walked over to the control panels of the T.A.R.D.I.S.
“Now comes the big decision that normally takes an hour or two to decide where to go!” the Doctor laughed.
“Actually, Doctor, there isn’t going to be a long decision of where ah want to go, ah know exactly where ah want to go.” Applejack smiled.
“Oh and where’s that?” the Doctor wondered.
“I’s always been interested in Ponyvilles history, especially my own families, ah want to go ‘bout five hundred years into the past, ah want to see the history of Ponyville in real life.” Applejack explained.
“Ok then, Applejack, five hundred years into Ponyvilles past.” The Doctor said as he set the T.A.R.D.I.S controls.
The Doctor switched the activation lever to the on position, the T.A.R.D.I.S materialised back through time from Sweet Apple Acers in the present to the centre of Ponyville five hundred years into the past.
Doctor Whooves: Family Feud
The T.A.R.D.I.S landed. The Doctor looked at Applejack with a smile.
“The T.A.R.D.I.S has landed, welcome to Ponyville, five hundred years into the past. Right through those blue doors is exactly where you asked to go. To see an old version of Ponyville.” the Doctor explained.
Applejack ran to the T.A.R.D.I.S door with excitement and opened it as fast as she could to see a newer Ponyville. Well, new to her anyway. The town was buzzing with happy ponies going about their every day lives without something going terribly wrong for once, the Doctor was shocked when he noticed he landed and nothing was going wrong for once.
“Everything looks new; this must be when Ponyville was just built.” Applejack stated.
“According to the T.A.R.D.I.S records, it has only been on Equestria's map for about twenty years, very early years for this place. Can you believe it, Applejack? Finally a place in the universe that is old fashioned and has nobody with futuristic technology trying to take over the world, Applejack, there is still hope in the olden days.” the Doctor smiled.
"What do ya mean by finally? Do old fashioned places normally have a crazy creatures with futuristic technology?" Applejack asked in confusion.
"More than you would expect actually, it's ridiculous!" the Doctor laughed.
“Ah wonder who is in charge of Ponyville at the moment. Who is they mayor?.” Applejack wondered.
“I don't know, the T.A.R.D.I.S records don't hold everything about everything is every universe. Look a tourist spot and it has maps!” the Doctor said with strange joy.
“Why do ya want maps of Ponyville?” Applejack asked.
“Well I’ve lived in this universe, in Equestria for about a year now and I haven’t really explored much of Ponyville throughout time as well as the present, I think it's time to start, don't you agree? I'm like you, I want to learn more about Ponyville's history. Not just Ponyville's history but the hole of Equestria's, this place might be a good starting point.” the Doctor explained.
The Doctor picked up a map and carefully unfolded the tourist leaflet. It showed landmarks and tourist spots.
“Ponyville looks smaller on this map.” Applejack pointed out.
“Well of course it is, as you said, this is early days for Ponyville, not much has been built so far.” The Doctor replied.
“And look, Sweet Apple Acers! It's really far out since there ain't any buildings near it.” Applejack smiled with joy.
The Doctor looked at Applejack with a smile and giggled.
“What? What is it?” Applejack asked.
“You want to go see Sweet Apple Acers five hundred years into the past, don’t you?” the Doctor smiled.
“Yes, yes, yes, can we?” Applejack begged.
“Ha, I can read you like a book, Applejack. But yes, of course but we will have to make up a story to fool them, to make sure they don’t know we are ponies that don’t exist until five hundred years later.” the Doctor said.
“Why do we need to do that?” Applejack asked.
“Because we can’t just go over and say, Hi! I’m a time travelling pony five hundred years into your future and this is Applejack, a future member of you family.” the Doctor explained.
“Why not?” Applejack asked again.
“Because its foreknowledge, sometimes, most times, foreknowledge can be dangerous to know. Especially when you change the future in a fixed point in time.” the Doctor explained.
“How can it be dangerous?” Applejack asked once again.
“You don’t stop asking questions do you?” the Doctor chuckled.
“Ya should meet mah sister!” Applejack laughed.
“Anyway, it can be dangerous because it can change futures, for example, if you tell someone from the past bad news, they will use that foreknowledge to avoid the bad news they have been told, thus changing the future.” the Doctor explained.
"And what's a fixed point in time?" Applejack asked again, it felt like nagging.
"Ugh! A fixed point in time is a time that cannot ever be changed. It must always happen, a point in time that is not fixed is in flux and cannot be changed. But fixed points in time must always happen, no matter what. Otherwise there could be drastic consequences." the Doctor explained.
“Oh, ah see know, almost, ah guess.” Applejack smiled.
“Come on, let’s go to Sweet Apple Acers.” the Doctor said.
The Doctor and Applejack made their way to Sweet Apple Acers, while they were making their way there; they tried to think of a story to tell the residence that lived there.
“Right what are we going to say?” Applejack asked.
“I don’t know, just say we want to buy some apples, they do run an apple orchard after all.” the Doctor replied.
“Ok but what about names?” Applejack asked.
“Just base it around what you do, apple bucking, call yourself Apple Bucker or something.” the Doctor said.
“Ok, good idea, but what about you?” Applejack asked.
“I absolutely have no idea. I never thought of that, I was just going to go with the Doctor because nobody normally questions it.” the Doctor replied.
“Well your cutie mark is a hour glass, so… How about Time Turner?” Applejack asked.
“Time Turner, yes, I like it.” the Doctor smiled.
“Good, now we can get there and hopefully no pony will get suspicious of us.” Applejack laughed.
“I just have one question, Applejack. Why do ponies, when they’re born, given names that will match their cutie mark when they’re older? How do the parents know when their foal is born, they will have a cutie mark that matches their name?” the Doctor asked.
“I… I… Uh… I have never thought about that.” Applejack replied.
“Well, never mind that, we’re almost there!” the Doctor smiled.
Doctor Whooves: Family Feud
The Doctor and Applejack finally made it to Sweet Apple Acers, from one side of the town to the other. They reached the front gate to see a Pony about the same age and size of Applejack. The Doctor and Applejack walked over to her.
"Remember, Applejack, stick to the story, we can't let her know who you are." the Doctor said making sure the message got through.
"Ok, ok, ah get it!" Applejack replied.
"Another thing, do not let her touch you, those things are the most important things while we're in he presents, don't let her know who you are and don't touch her or let her touch you." the Doctor explained.
"Ah understand why we can't tell her who we are, but why can't ah let her touch me?" Applejack asked.
"Because, if she is a member of your family, then she carries the same D.N.A, but your D.N.A is the future of the apple family, and if there is someone touching you with the same D.N.A as you when to them you haven't been born yet, it can cause time disruption." the Doctor explained.
"Oh, what happens when there is time disruption?" Applejack asked.
"I'd rather not tell you." the Doctor replied.
The Doctor and Applejack reached the pony working on the farm, the pony turned and looked at the Doctor and Applejack, wondering what they wanted.
"Hey, what can ah do for you two?" the pony asked.
"Hello, we're from... Um..." the Doctor struggled to say where they were from as he didn't know many places in Equestria. "Um... Italy!"
"What? Where the hay is Italy?" Applejack whispered.
"Just a place in my universe, a country on the planet Twilight went when she went through the portal, just go with it!" the Doctor whispered back. He turned back to the pony and smiled.
"Italy, is that a new place in Equestria?" the pony asked.
"Um, yes, yeah, it was just built a few months ago, brand new." the Doctor replied, trying to keep the secret that it was a lie, hoping the pony didn't get suspicious.
"Well, um, ok, what do ya need?" the pony asked.
"As I was saying, we're from Italy and we are on our way to Canterlot, but we ran out of food, so we came here to buy some apples!" the Doctor explained.
"Well we have plenty of apples! One apple is three bits each." the pony stated.
"Ooh..." the Doctor said as he turned to Applejack.
"What? Are ya complainin' 'bout the price? If so, these apples are cheaper than what we sell 'em for back home!" Applejack whispered.
"No! It's not that! I have no money..." the Doctor explained.
"What?! How could you forget money when you knew we were going to buy apples? We're going to have to go back and get some!" Applejack said furiously.
"I didn't have any money in the first place! It's not my fault!" the Doctor said innocently. He turned back to the pony. "I'm sorry, we don't have any money with us, we'll just be off."
The Doctor and Applejack walked back to the front gates to exit Sweet Apple Acers, but just before the left, the pony turned back round to catch their attention.
"Wait! I have an idea!" the pony pointed out.
"What's that then?" Applejack asked.
"My hole family has left Ponyville to go to a family reunion, but I promised to take care of the apple farm and do all the chores, I've been working three days straight and I'm getting tired and need a hour or two to take a breath. Would you mind bucking the last few remaining apple trees for me while I take a break and will pay you in apples?"
"Of coarse!" Applejack smiled.
"Wait, what?!" the Doctor said to himself.
"Well why not, Doctor?"
"We can't get tied up with this, you've seen Sweet Apple Acers, now lets come back and explore the history like you wanted to." the Doctor replied.
"You said stick to the story! We have no money and this is the only way to gat apples. Getting apples was in the story! And look at her, Doctor! She's tired and she's sweating all over, she can barley stand after working for three days straight, cant we just help her out?!" Applejack asked.
"Hmm, I suppose so..." the Doctor said after thinking about what Applejack said. He turned to the pony. "Yes, ok we will help you out!" the Doctor smiled.
"Oh, thank you!" the pony cheered. She pointed out a small, cramped bunch of trees. "Take those ones over there, there's only twelve, shouldn't take you long to buck!"
"Ok will do, but what is your name? I feel weird working for someone who's name I don't know." the Doctor asked.
"My name is Golden Delicious, and yours?" Golden Delicious asked.
"My name is the do-" the Doctor was saying before he was knocked by Applejack.
"Remember, we're not using our real names." Applejack whispered.
"Oh yeah. Sorry." the Doctor said as he turned back to Golden Delicious. "My name is Time Turner and this with me is Apple Bucker!" the Doctor replied.
"Well it's nice to meet you both! If you need me, I will be in the barn." Golden Delicious smiled.
"Thank you, you too!" the Doctor replied.
Golden Delicious trotted over to the barn and the Doctor and Applejack made their way towards the apple trees they had been asked to buck.
"Ok, Applejack, how do you buck?" the Doctor asked.
"Like this!" Applejack replied. She lifted her back legs up and bucked the apple tree behind her, every single apple fell at the same time with the power of one buck from Applejack.
"Wow, all of them down with one buck, those are pretty powerful legs you have there!" the Doctor laughed.
"That's because I've been doing it my hole life." Applejack said as she bucked the second apple tree. "Now that I've shown you how to buck an apple tree, you try it!"
"Ok, I'll try!" the Doctor smiled. He lifted his back legs from the ground and pushed them back, attempting to buck the tree but sadly failing. Applejack laughed.
"Ha, ha, you're really bad at this, I'd expect ya legs to be stronger because of all that running you do! Here, let me do them, save you from breaking your leg on the apple tree." Applejack giggled.
"More like saving me from the embarrassment..." the Doctor frowned. The Doctor looked at Applejack bucking the apple trees, one second the apples were on the trees, the other, on the floor, it's like she could buck at the speed of light.
After the Doctor and Applejack finished bucking the apple trees, mostly Applejack, they went back to the barn to see Golden Delicious.
"Golden Delicious, we're finished bucking the apple trees!" Applejack shouted.
Golden Delicious walked out of the barn.
"Already, that was fast! Anyway here's your sack of apples as payment." Golden Delicious smiled. "Before you go, would you like to come in for a glass of apple cider, as a thank you?"
"Ok, why not?" the Doctor smiled.
"Wait, what happened to sticking to the story?" Applejack asked.
"You can never say no to a free glass of apple cider!" the Doctor laughed.
The Doctor and Applejack walked into the barn and sat down in the chair next to the table with a fresh glass of apple cider in front of them.
"So, tell me about yourselves." Golden Delicious said.
"Well me and Apple Bucker own an apple farm too. Apple Bucker bucks the apples and I sell them in the market in the centre of town!" the Doctor said trying to stay ahead of Golden Delicious and tried to keep the story going.
the Doctor and Applejack finished their apple cider.
"Well thanks for that, Golden Delicious, but we need to be on our way now, we need to catch the train to Canterlot." the Doctor smiled.
"Well it's nice to make two new friends, you can come back anytime!" Golden Delicious laughed.
"Here, I'll put this glass back for you, Golden!" Applejack said, trying to help out.
"No, it's quite alright, I'll clean up myself." Golden Delicious replied.
"No, ah insis- Woah!" Applejack said before she and Golden Delicious fell to the floor. Unfortunately, they fell, but also touched on impact. There was a huge bang in the sky, with comets falling from the sky with creatures crawling out of them.
"Well at least the glass didn't smash." Golden Delicious said, unaware of what is happening outside.
"Never mind that, Golden, what's happening outside?" Applejack asked.
"Oh no!" the Doctor thought to himself. "I was hoping that this wouldn't happen..."
Doctor Whooves: Family Feud
Worry, Anger And A Terrible Idea
Applejack and Golden Delicious got up off the floor and looked outside the barn window to see a very unlikely thing.
"Time Turner?" Applejack muttered in a worried state.
"Applejack, I think it's time to lay off those names now that we have a huge problem." the Doctor said angrily.
"There is no need to talk to me like that!" Applejack shouted.
"Really? After what your clumsiness has just caused? You're worse than Derpy!" the Doctor said as his face was bright red about to blow up with rage.
"Oh, shut up, if Twilight said you were like this before I came with you, I probably wouldn't of came with you! This is a small issue, Twilight said that you stopped the sun from blowing up, if you can stop that, then you can stop this!" Applejack shouted.
"Small issue! Are you being serious? You haven't encountered these things before, but I have!" the Doctor replied.
"If you have encountered these before then you need to explain!" Applejack demanded.
The Doctor took a deep breath to calm down and try to explain something very confusing as easy as he could.
"Right, I'll try to explain, there has been a disturbance in time, you touched a pony who is dead in your time from which you came from. You have the same D.N.A because you and her are from the same family and because Golden Delicious is dead in your time and you have touched her while living in a different time, it has caused a disruption in time. That is why I told you not to touch Golden Delicious..." the Doctor explained.
"Wait, so what are they outside that came out of those comets?" Applejack asked.
"As I said, I've encountered them before. They don't have a name, not that I know of anyway. I encountered them before with one of my companions in the other universe, Rose her name was, Rose Tyler. She also caused damage to time when she tried to save someone who should of been dead, because of that, those things appeared." the Doctor explained.
"Ok, I'm starting to get it. Why are they here?" Applejack asked.
"As I said before, these things only appeared because of you touching Golden Delicious and caused a disruption in time. They are here to try and fix the disruption. But the only way they try to fix the disruption is to consume everything and living thing inside the disruption." the Doctor explained again.
"Which means... Can it mean?" Applejack asked.
"Yes, the end of the world." the Doctor replied.
"Wait, I don't really understand anymore. Who are you really and what's going on?" Golden Delicious asked.
"No time to explain anymore, we need to hide from those creatures or they'll kill us, where can we go and not be seen by them?" the Doctor wondered.
"The attic! There are no windows, just the roof, and there are a few candles for light!" Golden Delicious stated.
"Excellent we'll go up there! Not being seen by them is our number one priority." the Doctor pointed out.
The Doctor, Applejack and Golden Delicious made their way to the attic where they would be undetected by the creatures that were so eager to find them and every other living thing inside the time disturbance. Golden Delicious opened the small, wooden door leading to the attic and climbed up, the Doctor and Applejack followed. Golden Delicious lit a few candles with a match. The hole attic was covered with nothing but dust, it looked like nopony had been in there for years. Applejack started coughing because of the large amounts of dust.
"Well... Nice place ya have up here..." Applejack said, struggling to breath.
"Oh, ha, ha. Anyway you two, you've got some explaining to do!" Golden Delicious demanded.
"Doctor, should we tell her? Will it cause anymore damage to the time disruption?" Applejack whispered.
"Well, since we don't have a choice then yes, I think we should tell her, and no, it wont cause anymore damage to the time disruption." the Doctor replied. He spoke up to give the information Golden Delicious wanted. "Look listen Golden Delicious, my name is not Time Turner, it's the Doctor."
"And my name isn't Apple Bucker either, it's Applejack. I'm part of your family from the future. I help run Sweet Apple Acers in the future." Applejack explained.
Golden Delicious stood in the centre of the room with a blank expression.
"Hard to take in, isn't it, finding out something like that." the Doctor smiled.
"Yeah!" Golden Delicious laughed. "So if you're from the future, then how did you get here?"
"By time machine." the Doctor replied as if it was nothing.
"This, is getting harder and harder to take in." Golden Delicious said. "But why are you telling me all this?"
"Because you wouldn't of let us out if we wouldn't." the Doctor replied.
"Yes I would've." Golden Delicious said.
"Oh, I thought you weren't going to let us go if we didn't tell you." the Doctor said.
"No, I wasn't going to keep you here! I'm you're friend. I wouldn't do that." Golden Delicious said.
"Anyway, never mind that we need to stop those creatures from destroying the world. We need to think of a plan." the Doctor stated.
"Well, we can't think of a plan because we don't know much about them, but you've fought them before so you know how to fright em' and get rid of em', so come on, think of a plan! Ah want to get out of here!" Applejack demanded.
The Doctor tried to think of a plan, pacing around the room for hours and hours, Until luckily he thought of one, but unfortunately, it wasn't good for any of them...
"It's almost sun down, I wonder if Princess Celestia has noticed any of these creatures." Golden Delicious wondered.
"AH! I've got a plan, but oh..." the Doctor screamed.
"Doctor! Ya scared the life out of me! And but what?" Applejack asked.
"The plan, it's just that..." the Doctor struggled to explain the plan as it had consequences.
"What is it, Doctor?" Golden Delicious asked.
"Nothing, just... nothing... Anyway! I have a plan that's all that matters, I need a mine to get some ores! Golden Delicious, do you know where there could be a mine?" the Doctor asked.
"Yeah, six miles outside the other side of town." Golden Delicious replied.
"Excellent! We will go in the morning, it's getting dark and we need some rest. We should still be safe from those creatures in here if they still cant see or detect us." the Doctor suggested.
"Good idea! Goodnight, don't let the creatures that are feeding off the damage done to time bite!" Applejack laughed.
Doctor Whooves: Family Feud
The dark night was over, a long night of those creatures screaming, a long light of destruction and a long night of nothing but death outside.
"So did anyone actually get to sleep?" the Doctor asked.
"No, to much screaming, it was horrifying." Applejack replied.
"So now we need to go to that mine with no energy in us, hungry and tired? Well that's just great!" Golden Delicious shouted.
"Will you quiet down, we don't want those creatures hearing us!" Applejack whispered.
"I don't think they are out there anymore, I haven't heard them screaming for a while." the Doctor pointed out.
The Doctor, Applejack and Golden Delicious made their way down stairs into the living room and looked out the window to see something strange. The monstrous creatures that had been so eager to capture and kill them had suddenly disapperared.
"W-Where did they go, Doctor?" Golden Delicious worried.
"I- I don't know, but look at the bright side, at least the path to the mine from Ponyville is clear from those things." the Doctor replied with a positive note.
"How can ya think of this as a posotive thing?" Applejack asked.
"Well think of it this way, since they are not around, there will be a less chance of them coming to get us!" the Doctor explained.
"That does make sense, well if anything does go wrong, Ponyville guards will protect us, I'm sure they must of noticed those things by now, they must already be prepared, I mean those things spawned all over Equestria, most places are probably ready for attack already." Golden Delicious explained.
"I think you're right, we should go to the mine immediately, the sooner we get there, the better." the Doctor replied.
"Ah agree, lets go!" Applejack shouted.
The Doctor, Applejack and Golden Delicious burst out of the barn doors and ran towards the exit of Sweet Apple Acres and to the dirt road leading to Ponyville.
About half an hour later, the reached only the outscurts of Ponyville, but with something very suspicious... There was nothing, no sound, no life, no guards to protect Ponyville from those creatures... Only buildings. The Doctor, Applejack and Golden Delicious walked to the centre of the town. Still, nothing but dust and leaves.
"Doctor, where is everypony?" Applejack worried.
"I did stay those things were out to kill..." the Doctor replied with a dark emotion growing on his face.
"They killed every living thing inside and around Ponyville in just one night!?" Golden Delicious said with her old body shaking.
"Remember, I said they spawned all around the planet, not just Ponyville." the Doctor replied.
"So this happened everywhere? They... Did they kill every living thing?" Applejack asked about to collapse.
"Yep, they killed every living thing, every race of lifeforms, even pony kind in one night." the Doctor said about to explode with rage of a entire planet turning cold and dead in only twelve hours.
"Wait, does that mean me and Applejack are the only two ponies in existence?" Golden Delicious wondered in worry.
"Yep, you and Applejack are the only two survivors of pony kind." the Doctor replied.
"What about Princess Celestia?" Golden Delicious asked.
"Oh, only worry about Princess Celestia, what about Princess Luna?" the Doctor asked.
"Doctor, in this time, five hundred years back, Princess Luna is still only half way through her banishment..." Applejack explained.
"Oh, yeah, I forgot. But I don't think even Princess Celestia can battle a creature that feeds of time disruptions. I'm sorry, but you two are the only two ponies left. Unicorns extinct, Pegusi extinct and pretty much all Earth ponies, not including you two." the Doctor explained.
"What about you, are you forgetting yourself? Three remain." Golden Delicious stated.
"Yeah, three. If you say so." the Doctor said as he turned to Applejack. "Don't tell her that I'm not a pony and I'm actually a Time Lord, she knows to much already..." the Doctor whispered. "Right you two! The only reason those creatures have disappeared is because they think they have sterilized the wound in time by wiping out all life inside. But as soon as they discover that there are three life forms left, they'll come back. So we need to keep moving! Lets get to the mine as fast as we can without wasting any time!" the Doctor demanded.
The Doctor, Applejack and Golden Delicious reached the other side of Ponyville and went on to the road leading to the mine. Later on in the day, the sun was roasting them, they were struggling to breath in the desert sun and there was still two miles left to go until they reached the mine.
"Why is it so hot? It's not even summer!" Golden Delicious asked.
"Probably since Princess Celestia is dead, there is nopony to control the sun anymore, it's only going to get hotter and hotter." the Doctor explained.
"How long left to go?" Applejack asked, dizzy and tired and about to faint.
"About two more miles to go." Golden Delicious replied.
"Aww! This is to hard." Applejack shouted as she lay down on the burning ground.
"No! Come on! Don't give up, we're over half way there, if we can get there and do what we need to do, I can end this!" the Doctor explained.
"What do ya want to do anyway? Ya keep tryin' to avoid tellin' us!"
"I just can't tell you, not now anyway, I will tell you, but not now!"
"No! Tell us no-" Applejack said before she noticed something that she didn't want to at the moment in time.
"Applejack, what is it?" Golden Delicious asked.
"L-Look behind you!" Applejack said as her teeth chattered in fright.
Golden Delicious and the Doctor looked up into the sky to see one of the creatures spawn once again.
"They know they've missed some life forms out, they're after us now!" the Doctor explained.
"What do we do?!" Applejack asked.
"There's nothing we can do, we can only get to the mine as fast as we can, we should be safe in there! Run!" the Doctor screamed.
"Aww, ah just lay down!" Applejack moaned.
"It's either be lazy and die or run and be safe!" the Doctor shouted.
"Doctor, look up ahead, it's the entrance to the mine!" Golden Delicious pointed out.
"Great! Come on you two, we're almost there! Don't let those things catch up with you!" the Doctor said in a sigh of relive to see the mine.
The Doctor, Applejack and Golden Delicious reached one of the caves of the mine, but the creatures were still coming to get them, there was a huge rock at the edge of the cave.
"Quick, Doctor, Applejack, help me move this boulder in front of the entrance of the cave. Block the entrance for those things!" Golden Delicious demanded.
The boulder fit into the entrance of the cave, perfectly blocking it so the creatures cannot enter and cause them any harm.
"Thank Celestia, we're finally safe." Golden Delicious sighed.
"Doctor, why did we even need to come to the mine?" Applejack asked.
"Because I needed to get some ores and I need help getting them out of the rocks!" the Doctor explained. He picked up three pic-axes and gave one to Applejack and Golden Delicious. "So, lets get mining."
"Ugh, so much for an adventure, Doctor! We've been working more and more!" Applejack moaned.
"Oi! What do you mean, this is an adventure! It's not a normal one, but that makes it exiting! Anyway keep getting those ores out!" the Doctor replied.
Hours and hours later after mining strange ore that wasn't identified as a metal, the Doctor finally had enough to make what he wanted.
"Hey, Doctor, is this enough?" Golden Delicious wondered.
"Perfect!" the Doctor replied as he put the ore in his bag.
"Doctor, what is that ore? It looks like iron." Applejack asked.
"It is iron! the Time Lords needed a metal that was telepathic, so they created a new element called iron, they send the element to the beginning of time so it would form everywhere, making sure it would come to my home planet!" the Doctor explained.
"If iron was telepathic, we would know already!" Applejack said, doubting the Doctor and thinking he was lying.
"No, they only made iron telepathic for the Time Lords and no one else." the Doctor explained.
"So Time Lords created iron?" Applejack asked.
"Yep!" the Doctor replied.
"And why do you need it?" Applejack asked once again.
"The sonic screwdriver can do a lot of things, but it cant do everything by itself. The casing on the sonic screwdriver is iron, it makes the screwdriver telepathic. But because it can't do everything it needs components made from iron!" the Doctor explained.
"Ok I sort of get it now." Applejack replied.
"Ok you two! We need to get to a smeltery to melt and mould this iron. Which means we need to go out there, those creatures still will be out there, but I've looked at the map and there is a smeltery just next door to this cave! So, Golden Delicious, when I give you the signal, I want you to open the exit to the cave so we can get to the smeltery. Got it?" the Doctor asked.
"Got it!" Golden Delicious replied.

"Ok! Now! Open it!" the Doctor shouted.
Golden Delicious pushed the rock out of the way of the exit with all her might, struggling and a drop of sweat coming down her forehead. The rock slowly moved out of the way for the three adventurers to escape from the deep dark tunnel. The bright light broke through and they saw pure light for the first time in hours, unfortunately the light was soon blocked by the creatures trying to kill them.
"Ok, quick, we don't have much time, luckily the smeltery is only next door!" the Doctor smiled.
The Doctor, Applejack and Golden Delicious reached a large metal door, which was unfortunately locked.
"Oh no! How do we get in?" Applejack asked.
"I don't know! We need to think of something!" Golden Delicious stressed.
"I know, but what? They're almost here!" Applejack worried.
"Out of they way, both of you, and quit your bickering!" the Doctor shouted. He pulled out his sonic screwdriver and soniced opened the door. "Ok, push it open! In, in, in!"
The Doctor jumped into the smeltery after Applejack and Golden Delicious and shut the door and soniced it locked again.
"Well at least we're safe again." the Doctor sighed in relief.
"Thanks to you! You never cease to amaze me with your weird, hoof held machines, Doctor!" Golden Delicious laughed.
"It's what I do, nothing special really." the Doctor replied.
"What? You do this all the time?" Golden Delicious asked.
"It's an average day for me." the Doctor said as if it was nothing.
The Doctor walked over to the furnaces in the corner of the smeltery and turned it on and put in the iron in a heatproof bowl and waited for it to melt. The Doctor kept an eye on the iron while Applejack and Golden Delicious sat down on the chairs in the centre of the room and started to socialize.
"So, Golden Delicious, tell me more about yourself? Since you're part of my family, ah may as well get to know you in person since this will be the only chance ah get while we're running away from those things outside." Applejack asked.
"Well I never an education, the only things I know what to do is read, write, talk and buck apple trees, I don't know much." Golden Delicious explained.
"Well, even if ya don't know much or didn't have an education, ya still got your cutie mark!" Applejack smiled.
"Yeah, but I feel like I would have more opportunities than what I do now if I had an education..." Golden Delicious frowned.
"But the thing that we apples do is past down our family, it's our heritage, what we do will go on for centuries to come!" Applejack explained.
"Yeah, I guess you're right! Anyway, I have never left Ponyville, whenever there is a family reunion, I volunteer to look after the farm while the rest go to the family reunion. I haven't really met the rest of the apple family except when they had the reunion here." Golden Delicious explained.
"Well, ya don't always need to volunteer to stay, ask somepony else to stay for once! See the rest of Equestria and meet the rest of the family." Applejack replied with a smile.
"Ha, ha, you're right Applejack, you know what to say at the right time, I'm glad that the apple family in the future is in safe hands!" Golden Delicious laughed.
The Doctor turned to Applejack. "Make the most of this, get to know her a bit more than you already do, you don't have long to talk." the Doctor muttered with a stutter in his voice, trying not to tell Applejack the truth of what he was doing.
The creatures from outside were clawing and scratching and breaking down the walls of the building, they weren't going to last long inside if they got in, now more than a few seconds.
"Why do you say that, Doctor?" Applejack asked.
"Well, for one, those things might get in!" the Doctor pointed out, trying to avoid his second reason why... The Doctor turned back and started to make a moulding cast for the melting iron.
"Ok..." Applejack said, very suspicious of the Doctors behaviour. "Golden Delicious, what else have ya done in your lifetime?" Applejack asked.
"Nothing really, just won a few iron pony competitions around Ponyville!" Golden Delicious replied. "But what about you, Applejack? What have you done in your lifetime?"
"Nothing that different from you." Applejack replied.
"Come on, give me more description!" Golden Delicious laughed.
"Ok, ok, I was given an education, unlike you, but still ended up having a cutie mark with something to do with apples, I buck apple trees like you. I have won iron pony competitions like you too. I am part of the elements of harmony." Applejack explained.
"Elements of harmony?! They're legendary, the most powerful things in Equestria!" Golden Delicious said as she got exited by talking to a keeper of an element of harmony.
"Yep, ah know, I'm the keeper of the element of honesty! I don't treat it as something I should have fame for, I take family, friends and my job in our family much more important." Applejack explained.
"Well, at least I know you're reliable!" Golden Delicious laughed.
"Oh yes!" the Doctor smiled.
"What is it, Doctor?" Applejack asked.
"It's moulded along with the two darts." the Doctor said to himself.
"What has? Doctor just tell me!" Applejack asked.
The Doctor pulled it out of the mould along with it's two darts. "This!"
"What is that?" Applejack asked.
"Is that some kind if weapon?" Golden Delicious asked.
"Yes, let me explain, because the iron is telepathic, I can use these darts for a telepathic purpose too, the sonic screwdriver goes into the slot at the top and when I shoot the dart out of the gun, what ever I want the dart to do, it will do." the Doctor explained.
"Is that to stop the creatures outside?" Golden Delicious asked.
"No..." the Doctor replied.
"What is it for then?" Applejack asked.
"Applejack, move out of the way of Golden Delicious for a moment, please." the Doctor demanded.
Applejack moved out of the way of the path between the Doctor and Golden Delicious. The Doctor looked straight into Golden Deliciouses eyes.
"I'm sorry!" the Doctor said calmly. He shot Golden Delicious with the dart, rendering her unconscious.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Applejack screamed.
A glowing light came from outside the door, the creatures had gone.
"DOCTOR! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?" Applejack screamed.
"I knew you would shout and overreact, thank God I made two darts!" the Doctor said. The Doctor aimed the gun with his final dart at Applejack, pressing the trigger, also rendering her unconscious.
"Right, now it's time for the hard, heart breaking stuff!" the Doctor thought to himself with a tear rolling down his face. He picked up Applejack and Golden Delicious and walked out the door with huge regret, getting ready for a hard explanation to Applejack of what went through his mind and why he did it...

Long Conversations In The T.A.R.D.I.S
After the Doctor left the smeltery, he walked slowly to Sweet Apple Acers with the weight of two ponies on his back. He went into the house at Sweet Apple Acers and went to Golden Deliciouses bedroom, lay her down, tucked in and safe. He left Sweet Apple Acers for the last time and took Applejack to the T.A.R.D.I.S, opened the door and lay her down on the floor of the T.A.R.D.I.S. The Doctor jumped in front of the control panel and set the T.A.R.D.I.S for Ponyville five hundred years into the future, back home. The Doctor looked over to Applejack waking up, knowing that he is about to face a huge argument.
"W-what? wait a minute... DOCTOR! YOU EXPLAIN TO ME! EXPLAIN TO ME RIGHT NOW, WHY THE HAY YOU DID THAT!" Applejack screamed.
"Look, Applejack, I-" the Doctor tried to explain.
"SHE WAS OUR FRIEND AND YOU SHOT HER WITH THAT THING!" Applejack screamed, there was no way the Doctor could calm her down, not until she let him explain.
"APPLEJACK, BE QUITE AND SHUT UP!" the Doctor demanded. It was the very rare moment when the Doctor looses his temper.
Applejack was speechless, but anger was still building up in her mind.
"Just let me explain!" the Doctor begged.
"Ok, but you better explain quick, I'm really not in the mood..." Applejack replied.
"Ugh, I knew this would be hard." the Doctor sighed.
"Well it would be easier if you didn't do that to Golden Delicious and then shoot me with no explanation!" Applejack replied angrily.
"You wouldn't let me explain, you were to busy shouting at me and you're still doing it now!" the Doctor pointed out.
"Fair enough, but hurry up and explain now!" Applejack demanded.
"Ugh, fine... Those creatures appeared because you touched Golden Delicious, I said it would create a disturbance in time." the Doctor explained.
"You're just repeating yourself now..." Applejack sighed.
"Just wait. But they also appeared because she saw it, she felt it, she remembered it." the Doctor explained.
"So?" Applejack asked.
"So the only way of getting rid of those creatures was to make her forget that she saw it, felt it. I had to wipe her memory." the Doctor explained.
"How do you make someone forget something by shooting them?" Applejack asked.
"If you want me to explain, stop interrupting!" the Doctor demanded.
"Sorry..." Applejack said. "Go on, keep explaining."
"As I said, the iron is telepathic to Time Lords, so I melted and moulded a weapon called a sonic gun, it is a component for the sonic screwdriver. When I shot the telepathic dart, it carried the information that I wanted it to do." the Doctor explained.
"So you shot her with that gun thing with a dart that was telepathic, what exactly did ya make the dart do with her?" Applejack asked.
"Well with the dart I shot you with, I only told it to render you unconscious." the Doctor replied.
"I figured that out, Doctor. But that's not what I asked. What did you do with Golden Delicious?" Applejack asked.
The Doctor smiled, happy with what he did, and smiling that Applejack didn't know what he told the dart to do after he just said it. Applejack wasn't amused.
"Doctor, this is not a laughing matter, how is this amusing to you?" Applejack asked.
"It's amusing to me because I just told you what I did, but you weren't paying attention, were you?" the Doctor laughed.
"Yeah, ah was paying attention, you obviously didn't say it clearly enough." Applejack replied, about to loose her temper once again, she felt like the Doctor didn't care what he just done and was laughing at her.
"Think back to what I said, Applejack! I said that those creatures only appeared because she felt it, remembered it. So what do you think was the easiest way to stop it?" the Doctor asked.
Applejack though for a minute... "The dart was telepathic, so... You wiped her memory didn't you!"
"Yep! The easiest way to fix everything and also the nicest!" the Doctor replied. "And another plus, it never happened! Everypony who dies has come back!"
"It really was the best thing you could do to fix it wasn't it?!" Applejack smiled.
"Yep!" the Doctor replied.
"But even though everything is back to normal, it's a shame that we couldn't let her keep her memory." Applejack sighed.
"Well, Applejack... Nothing is ever forgotten, not completely, if it is remembered, it can come back..." the Doctor smiled.
"What? Does she still remember us?" Applejack asked.
"No... But I left her a little something that will help her remember..." the Doctor replied.
"What did you do?" Applejack asked, eager to find out what the Doctor was hiding for fun.
"A letter." the Doctor replied.
"What? What letter?" Applejack asked. "Just tell me!"
"A letter to help her remember!" the Doctor replied, getting tired of the questions.
"A letter for her to help her remember what?" Applejack asked.
"Us!" the Doctor replied.
Applejack was still very confused. First the Doctor said he had to make her forget and now he says he's done something to help her remember...
"What? Which is it? Did you make her loose her memory or are you going to make her remember?" Applejack asked.
The Doctor smiled. "I'll tell you later... Now! Time to go home! Who shall I take on an adventure next? Ah, Pinkie Pie, that will be fun and chaotic." The T.A.R.D.I.S landed back at home. The Doctor and Applejack rested, getting ready for the adventure with pinkie pie.
Doctor Whooves: Family Feud
Golden Delicious got out of bed, not remembering anything that happened that day with the Doctor and Applejack. She felt a bit dizzy and was very suspicious because of the hole in her leg made by the iron dart that the Doctor shot at her.
"Ugh, what happened? Why do I feel so dizzy as of a sudden? How did I end up in my bedroom?" Golden Delicious thought to herself.
She went down stairs got a bottle of milk and bowl.
"Right, what shall I have for breakfast? Cheerlie-O's or Luna Pops? Hmm, Cheerlie-O's!" Golden Delicious asked herself.
Golden Delicious picked up a box of Cheirlee-O's out from under the kichen cabnet. She put the Cheirlee-O's into the bowl and poured the milk, her took her bowl of ceriral into the living room, still very suspicious of what happened. Thinking and eating.
"Why do I feel like this? What did I do last light? It's like I have a massive hangover from drinking to much cider, wait, was I drinking? I don't think I was, there's no glasses lying around. Where is the rest of my family? Where the hey did they go?" Golden Delicious though to herself.
After Golden Delicious finished her Cheilee'Os, she done nothing at all and just sat on her sofa and tried to remember. She sat for hours and hours, thinking and not a clue of what happened.
"Wait, wasn't there something I needed to do?" Golden Delicious thought to herself along with thousands of other questions. "Apple Bucking! That's it! My family will be back soon, I need to get my chores done!" She traced back to what she asked before and remembered. "Oh yeah, that's where my family went, the family reunion... How could I forget that?"
Golden Delicious rushed outside and saw something confusing, all of the apple trees were already bucked. She though she never done them.
"Wait, what? I still had a few apple trees left to do, who done them? And why is there a sack of apples in the kitchen, did I run out of space for them in storage?" Golden Delicious wondered. She was very confused, just then, she saw her family walk into the front entrance to Sweet Apple Acers, they were back from their annual apple family reunion.
"Well Golden Delicious, were you just fine on your own?" Golden Deliciouses mom asked.
"Yeah, mom!" she replied. "Fine!"
"I see you've bucked all the trees. Good job, I didn't thi k you would be able to do them all in time, now I'll inspect the rest of the house." her mom smiled.
Golden Delicious walked into the house with her mother.
"I'm sure you'll find everything in order, as always! You know I never let you down!" Golden Delicious smiled.
"We'll see, shall we?" her mother replied. She walked around the house, checking every single spot in the house for one spec of dust, trying to catch her daughter out. "Well, everything seems to be in order down here, I'm going to check upstairs."
"Don't worry, I done upstairs to." Golden Delicious replied.
Her mom trotted upstairs and looked around, again, not a spec of dust. "You've done a brilliant job!" she shouted down. Everything was in order upstairs except for one thing she noticed in her daughters bedroom, on her side table. "Golden Delicious! What's this? And what does the "D" on it stand for?" she brought it down from her bedroom and gave it to Golden Delicious.
"What is it?" Golden Delicious replied.
"I don't know, it was just there on your side table in your bedroom, inside a fez next to a packet of jammy dodgers." her mother explained.
"It looks like a letter!" Golden Delicious stated.
"It must be, it's addressed to you." her mom replied.
Golden Delicious opened the folded piece of paper in the envelope with a "D" on the front of it. Golden Delicious read it and was shocked and didn't believe it at first. She was amazed by the letter and didn't expect anything written inside it. The letter read:
Dear Golden Delicious,
You will not remember us, but I can tell you a few bits and bobs, I can't tell you all of the story otherwise the creatures will return. I had to wipe your memory with a iron, telepathic dart, that is why you won't remember, I wiped the memory right up to when we first entered Sweet Apple Acers, I was the one who put you in your bed, you will also feel very tired, by the way, you've had two days crammed into the period of one. You will probably be wondering why you suddenly woke up in your bed, but I've explained it, so you don't need to wonder anymore. Me and Applejack were the ones who bucked the remaining apple trees. I just want you to know that you helped save the world and that's all I pretty much can tell you. You will be wondering who we are, but I can't tell you directly who we are, otherwise I will give off two much information and those creatures will return. But I can give you some advice. Nothing is ever truly forgotten, if you can remember something you've forgotten, it can come back. So please, at least try to remember us...
From,
Applejack and the Doctor.
"I remember you... I know why you wiped my memory, to save the whole of Equestria, and it was worth it... Thank you, Doctor!
