During the rebellion of Ponyville, Pinkie Pie discovered a supernatural force that spoke of a Saving God. Since, at the time, her current Goddess had become a tyrant, she decided to believe in this God.

After the revolt, Twilight was sent to a strange world where she had been given a strange book. The creature who had given her the book had called it a 'Bible', and said Pinkie Pie needed it.

Just as the creature expected, it was the greatest gift Pinkie had ever received; It told her everything she needed to know about her 'new' God! In turn, she told everypony she knew about it. And, to her joy, nearly all had accepted it! …Well, all except Twilight…

But that matter was not important to her at the moment. Things were going wrong. Fast. Inconceivably bad things were happening to her and her friends, things that had never happened before. And it never seemed to end…

Together, they learned that life sucks. No… "Sucks" is an understatement…

However, Pinkie is visiting Derpy Hooves to cheer her up, as the latter is in the hospital for eye surgery. And that is where this sad tale of woe begins…
