The Geek and the Cheerleader
"You can do this, Cloud." the young tanned-colored boy mumbled to himself, his light-blue hair standing on end on his scalp. "It's that simple." He looked at the locker again, then down to the envelope in his shaky palms. Cloud Tumble gulped and stepped towards the locker, and froze once more. His head arched to look down the hall of Canterlot High and heard three footsteps coming towards him. He knew the sounds of Snips and Snails all to well, along with their usual worshipping of the school's cheerleader captain: Trixie Lulamoon.
"Shi-!" Cloud panicked and in his haste, poorly shoved the letter into the small locker opening. He then fled the scene rather clumsy-like. Trixie looked rather annoyed at her two "fans" as she walked through the hall. Her slender body took long beautiful strides as she walked, allowing her bosom to wobble slightly in her bra. Her cheer sweater swayed loosely on her torso and her skirt rustled against her legs as she walked.
"Ugh. Why don't you two just...go get me some pop?" Trixie finally said to Snips and Snails. The two looked at each other for a moment as if in thought. "Yes, Trixie!" they said in unison, almost like they were programmed. They then skidded off to fetch Trixie the requested drink, despite not knowing her favorite kind. The light-azure cheerleader sighed and brushed her long white hair to one side as she opened her locker.
The envelope fluttered down, landing at her feet. At first she took no notice of the envelope, instead lazily grabbing her purse. Then as she closed the locker, she noticed it at her feet and picked it up in curiosity. It was wrinkled and slightly damaged as it had been shoved into the locker with haste. Trixie shrugged it off without caring, and opened the letter as she was walking home.
'To my dearest Trixie, your charms on the field amaze me and enchant me so...
Your beauty is unparalleled by anyone else in the school...
And...
With my heart, your tumbling cloud."
She looked back up at the school. "Tumbling cloud, huh? I hope you'll write again soon." She giggled and folded the letter carefully in her purse.
"I think she liked it!" Cloud said as he fist-pumped in joy. "She didn't even throw it away! She actually read it!" he said happily as Trixie left the school grounds. "But it's not enough, I should write another." He said to himself, thinking up the next love letter for his crush.
The next morning, Cloud hurried over to Trixie's locker with another letter. It was put in a pink envelope this time, with a heart-shaped stamp. The sun had barely left the horizon and the smell of cleaning products, courtesy of Mr. Discord, were still fresh as the boy approached her locker. this time, he took careful steps to place it inside, but the letter was a bit too big so he had to fold it once over before slipping it in her locker. Cloud's chest was pounding and he retreated to home room. He opened his backpack and took out a small thermos of hot cocoa to calm down. He was sweating little and his knees felt weak, yet he felt overjoyed as well. He gave a second letter to his loved one, and thought it better than the first.
His body began to settle down from the love rush, and his cocoa was almost gone. The school bell finally rang, snapping Cloud out of his love trance. Other students trickled in and took their designated seats.
Focusing on schoolwork became a task in and of itself for Cloud. Whenever he looked at the pages of the textbook all he could think of was his next letter, and what he would, then should, write. After what felt like hours the bell for lunch rang. Cloud quickly gathered his belongings and heft for the cafeteria. Today was Thursday, which meant that the cheerleaders had practice, preparing for the big game tomorrow evening. Cloud entered the cafeteria to see the cheer squad in uniform and eating like normal. The skirts were a bit smaller than what Trixie would normally wear, and the top was nice, exposing her belly button and deep cleavage. Cloud adjusted his glasses and noticed the open pink envelope sticking out of Trixie's purse. His heart almost soared, pounding in his chest. She had read AND kept the letter, and Cloud was already thinking of ways to swoon her more.
He ordered his meal and took his seat at a table, to get a clearer view of the cheer team. "I can't just tell her...can I? Not with all the other cheerleaders there... Wait, I know! Tomorrow! After the game, I'll give her another letter and meet her under the bleachers!" he thought as he ate his lunch. Like every Thursday the cheerleaders left early for their practice, and as they left Cloud watched the captain herself glance around the room. It was brief, and she seemed a bit distracted herself. Trixie caught up to the other girls, shoes gently tapping against the floor. The sounds of the cafeteria and the students drowned out whatever the cheerleaders were saying, preventing Cloud from picking up their conversation. He shrugged and finished his meal, putting the tray on the cleaning side and left for the computer lab.
The screen blinked its usual blue opening and after signing on, Cloud opened up a writing program with a click of the mouse. He looked at the screen for a moment, fingers on keyboard, while thinking. He started typing, but stopped and deleted what he had worked on. He looked at the keys for a moment and groaned. It was going to be a long lunch hour.
The Geek and the Cheerleader
Cloud was't able to sleep well that night, his thoughts filled with the beautiful cheerleader and the note he had, at long last, completed. He tossed and turned in his bed, but eventually sleep took him. It felt like he had gotten only a few hours of rest, but his body felt ready for the morning regardless. Cloud printed the love letter from his computer and placed it in another pink envelope. He sprinkled a little glitter on it for effect, then grabbed his backpack. The walk to school took little time between Cloud Tumble's short sprints of love. The only people inside the building were a handful of teachers who missed traffic, and Mr. Discord the janitor.
He walked through the quiet, empty halls of Canterlot High, his mind and heart racing like the Wondercolts. He stopped to Trixie's locker and with a quick breath, put the small envelope in her locker and retreated. He had made this one intentionally small so it wouldn't wrinkle and fit well into the opening of the locker. Cloud went to his normal spot to study for his upcoming class.
The school steadily filled up with students as the day pressed on. Subconsciously Cloud had been moving along the hall towards Trixie's locker. By chance he had gone down the hall far enough to see the cheerleader's locker as she opened it. Trixie silently read the letter and Cloud held his breath. Trixie bobbed her head and her silvery-white hair bobbed with it. She lovingly folded the letter into her purse and turned to leave. It was then that the two locked eyes. It was only for a second, but Cloud gazed into Trixie's purple eyes, who also looked into Cloud's gold pupils, for what felt like a year. Cloud blushed a little and looked down to his book, he fumbled with turning the page and he swore he could hear Trixie giggling. When next he looked up Trixie had disappeared back into the student body. The bell rang loudly, startling the love struck Cloud. He diligently stood up and left to home room.
Time wouldn't move fast enough for Cloud. Trixie had seen him but he didn't know if she had figured out he was her secret admirer. When the bell at last rung for lunch, Cloud decided to skip it. His stomach felt upset as though he had been kicked in the stomach or butterflies were dancing within him. Instead, he began mentally preparing himself for the fated encounter he had arranged.
When school at last ended, Cloud made his way to the bleachers, doing a quick clean up so when Trixie came it would not be a disgusting encounter. By the time he had finished his task the game had already started and all the seats had been taken. Cloud was quite contempt with sitting on the nice grass, eagerly waiting the half time show.
At last it was half time and the players returned to their benches to allow the cheerleaders to take the stage. As cheer captain Trixie had center stage, she stood in front of the other cheerleaders and began the chant. Cloud wasn't completely sure what they were saying because of Trixie's enchanting movements. She raised her arm into the arm and her other straight forward. Her forward arm began to shake the pom-pom and raise it straight above her too. Trixie did a quick bounce, allowing her beautiful bosom to jiggle, then spun around to shake her fake tail. With finesse Trixie then spun on her heel and jumped into the air. The other cheerleaders made a three point triangle and caught her just before launching her back into the air. Trixie did a double spin then landed on her graceful feet. In the same motion the amazing cheer leader put one leg forward and the other back to create a perfect split. The first cheer was done and the second began without a moment's hesitation.
This cheer seemed much more simpler because they preformed simple cart wheels and flips along the lines of the field. Now it felt like there was nobody else in the world but him and her. The azure cheerleader and the brown student, alone together with nobody to disturb them. It wasn't to last however as quickly as it had begun it was over. The crowd roared with excitement as the cheerleaders left and the teams returned to play. Cloud snapped out of his trance and got a final good look at Trixie before she disappeared into the change rooms. He took a deep breath and got up to return to the meeting spot.
He began to pace back and forth as he waited for Trixie to come meet him. It had been only a couple minutes since she left the field but Cloud's mind began to wander and worry.
"What if she thought the letter was weird? What if she doesn't show up? What if-"
"Tumbling Cloud?" A sweet voice asked from behind Cloud. He froze, as if he had been struck by a blizzard.
"Y-Yes?" Cloud asked dispelling the charade he had created with his letters before. He turned his head to face Trixie and his body followed. Trixie pulled out the letter he had made today and presented it to him.
"So, you wrote this?" Trixie asked. Cloud looked at it for a moment then slowly nodded to his crush.
"I thought it was a wonderful poem," Trixie said, the crowd above them cheered loudly, presumably a touchdown. "It's getting rather loud here. They don't need me here. Would you like to come to my place?" Trixie offered. Cloud was stunned and was only able to answer with a rapid head nod, his glasses slipping down his nose. Trixie smiled and giggle a little then turned to lead the tumbling cloud home.
The trip to her house was rather quick but quiet. Cloud was too stunned to speak and Trixie didn't say anything. She seemed to be going over the letters Cloud had sent her earlier. Trixie went to the door of a fairly large house and unlocked the door.
"Make yourself comfortable," Trixie said as she went upstairs.
"Probably changing..." Cloud thought to himself and took a seat on a couch. He could hear Trixie thumping around upstairs changing and he did his best not to imagine her naked. Her large breasts out in the cold air, her strong hips struggling to put on her lingerie. Cloud's face went red with blush at the thoughts, he gulped and did his best not to linger on it. He looked around the living room for pictures of family or something he could bring up small talk with the cheerleader.
Trixie returned in a casual skirt and top, nothing super fancy but to Cloud it was special and private. She went to the kitchen and got the two of them drinks before sitting down.
"So why did you write those? Did you mean them?" Trixie asked Cloud. Her gaze fixated upon him, piercing his soul to determine the truth of the matter. Cloud gulped, nervous, intimidated and scared that he may blow his one chance at happiness. His only option: the truth.
"Every word, every letter." Cloud began, his voice wavered a little then found its courage. "I love you Trixie. I... I just can't explain what true love is so I put it down as best as I could in those letters. I just couldn't do it so openly... I'm just a dorky student and you're cheer captain!"
"And you're not like those yay-sayers, Snips and Snails... you don't seem to be the kind to blindly follow my orders... do anything to please me," Trixie replied. She put the glass down onto the table. Cloud did his best not to say anything, in reality he would do anything for the cheerleader. Silence entered the room once more. Trixie leaned back into the comfy couch and looked upon the letters once more while awkwardly Cloud looked around the house.
"Trixie are-" Cloud finally spoke again. He had noticed a slight shimmer in Trixie's eye. The cheerleader looked up for a moment and wiped the liquid from her eye.
"O-of course not!" She stuttered, "The Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't cry!"
"But... have you been... loved? Not just admired but... loved?" Cloud asked. Trixie was taken back, dazed at the sudden question. He too was a little shocked that he came out and bluntly said it so. Indeed this could have been a costly mistake.
"I... no," Trixie said then sniffled a little. "My parents are wealthy but busy all the time, and... and people only look at me as a cheerleader with a pretty face..."
"I see you more than that Trixie... I see you as a strong women, a smart woman... a woman to be admired, loved." Cloud sweetly said.
"You... you mean that?" Trixie quizzed, fighting back the tears. Cloud answered with a simple, strong nod to her. Trixie smiled to him back, it was one he had never seen before. It wasn't a cocky smile or one of pride but one of... affection. She stood up and strut over to him, her hips swaying from side to side. Cloud gulped and Trixie went to rest on him. She put her thigh on Cloud's knee and leaned against him, her breast pressed against his shoulder. She leaned in close to his face, and their lips touched.
Cloud's heart was smashing against his chest at this moment, her lips were smooth and tasted like honey. "Mmm..." he moaned, his muscles relaxing as he laid back on the couch.
Trixie broke the kiss after what felt like minutes passing. "Then if you truly mean that, I would love to have you...as more than just a friend."
His eyes widened as he panted. "You mean...like a...?"
"...a boyfriend." Trixie smiled, softly giggling at his reaction. "I want you as my one true boyfriend. If you're willing to let me be your girlfriend, of course."
"YES!" Cloud almost jumped, but sank back down in his seat, as Trixie appeared startled by his shout. "Um...I mean, yes, of course."
She grinned once more. "Oh, Cloudy..."
"Trixie..."
The two embraced once more, their body warmth sharing. "Do you think...we could go all the way? Not now, but...someday?" Cloud asked.
Trixie thought it over. "Maybe we should wait, until we both graduate. Then, my tumbling cloud, I will express my love to you even further than ever..."
"I love you, Trixie."
"I love you, Cloud."
