[Mystery] [Thriller] [Sci-Fi]

This was Scootaloo's first time as a passenger of a ship, especially ones with so many cool things on board. Who knew it was possible to have a swimming pool on a boat? That just seemed weird, yet there she was, swimming while technically on the sea yet not actually being in the sea. Applebloom is unfamiliar with cruises as well and Sweetie Belle says her only time was as an extremely young foal, so it doesn't count.

Yet, when they win tickets, in a contest they don't remember entering, for a trip to a tropical island on the new V.D.C liner, they truly couldn't resist. Perhaps they could get their cutiemarks on deck, meet some cute colts or, at the very least, relax during the summer break. After begging their parents and sisters and going through some 'diplomatic negotiation', the trio are ready to travel.

Of course, it was never going to be that simple, and if the crusaders wish to make it out of this alive — and maybe even rich and talented— they are going to have to learn to work with, well, less than favorable partners.

Adapted loosely from the highly successful story arc of the same name by JanAnimations from his AskTheCrusaders blog. I've found the original entries to the whole V.D.C blog as a whole lacking and, as such, this story bares little resemblance to the original's, only taking inspiration from its setting.
