Chapter 1: A Sonic Rainboom IRL
The bell rang and it was the last class period of the day, I went to my locker and then straight home. I wasn't the most sociable or actively social person on earth. Up until now the life I had wasn't the kind of life someone would want. I felt a drop of rain on my face. I looked up and saw rain pouring down, it began to pour harder and harder so I ran as fast as I could home. As soon as I got home I went to dry myself and ordered some pizza. It's usually quiet at my house because of my family being late from school or work. My brother stays after school for soccer practice or some other club activities. As for my father he divorced my mother when I was really young though he always comes to visit us sometimes. My mother on the other hand is in the hospital. The reason cause of this is because she has lung cancer and the doctors are testing her because she just had it one day out of nowhere. The doctors say its unknown how she got it and that's why there keeping her there for further tests.
I was cold and tired so I decided to go to my living, sit down with a blanket and watch anime or My Little Pony for a while. I usually invite my friends over but I feel like being left alone today. Although my mother is in the hospital, I still have to do chores since she texts me a list of them. "Oh! I almost forgot! I didn't see if she sent me anything to do" I said looking through my messages. "Let's see what I have to do today....clean the living room...wash the dishes....do the laundry...and clean out the attic?" I thought for a moment thinking if my mom sent a typo."I haven't been up in the attic since I was young... But I guess if she wants me to do it..." I started to do all the chores around the house, it took me a long time but lucky I finished before sundown."Ok I'm finished with all the chores except cleaning the attic", I said finishing up with the laundry. I grabbed the cleaning supplies and walk upstairs.
I haven't been in the attic since I was very young, I often went up here only to find things and sell them. There was nothing in here but cobwebs and boxes with labels on them. I started to clean and dust off everything in here, then I noticed a patch on the ceiling covering a hole. I wanted to see why it was patched up so I removed it off and all of the sudden the light from outside was shining on a specific chest in deepest part of the attic. As I walked towards the chest, I noticed something familiar about it. It was covered in cutie marks. Twilight's cutie mark, Rainbow Dash's cutie mark, Derpy's cutie mark and almost every single pony's cutie mark from the series. It had no lock so I opened the chest and inside were three things. There was a scroll, six keys and the harmony box from the season four premiere of the series. I was speechless and in awe of actual seeing this in real life.
I first looked at the scroll and I started to read it, it was the whole history of Equestria's past. It had the history about Nightmare Moon, Discord, the creation of Equestria and more stories far from what the series has revealed. As I put the scroll back in the chest I looked at the harmony box and the six keys. "I wonder...", I said." What if I insert the six keys in the harmony box's locks.....?" My curiosity led me to do that. Once I did that the box started to shake and shot a rainbow beam through the same hole that had that patch in the ceiling. The rainbow beam raised about a thousand feet in the air and the next second it divided into six and went in different directions. As soon as it hit the ground a sonic rainboom appeared in the center of town and covered the whole town's sky. I was astonished, no stunned with awesomeness from watching an actual sonic rainboom appear in real life.
I ran downstairs to go outside to see the sonic rainboom but it vanished as soon as I went there. I was still amazed at how an sonic rainboom actually came to life. My mind was still blown away at its awesomeness. With all the excitement I was having I forgot about the attic. I went back inside and continued cleaning the attic. As I was finishing up I looked back at the chest to see if there was anything in the scroll about this but when I went back to the chest the scroll looked like if as someone has burned it. There was nothing but ashes where the scroll was and on top of that the six keys where gone. I started to panic and worry. "Where are they!?", I said looking all over the attic. I tried looking all over but I couldn't find it. I sighed and decided to stop looking for it.
It was nine o'clock in the afternoon and I was in my room playing video games. I still wondered where the keys went or disappeared to. "It was a good thing I keep the harmony box with me" I said staring at the harmony box sitting on my desk. After a few hours of playing videos I fell asleep. The alarm clocked started ring and the morning was bright and cloudy. I started to get from my chair where I was sleeping and got dressed. I went to take a shower and then to brush my teeth. As I finished up getting ready for school I went to the kitchen to eat breakfast. I didn't feel like making anything to eat so I just got some toast. I just took some toast and started to go walk to school.
The bad thing about walking to school is that my house is about 3 miles to school. If you're wondering why I'm walking to school instead of taking the bus or driving there its because, like I said, I'm not a very social person and I rather not be with other people if I'm not gonna talk to them. The other reason is because..."Jake!" I heard a voice call out to me then I saw someone running towards me. It was my best friend David. David and I have been best friends since first grade. We usually walk together to school since he lives a few blocks away from my house. "Hey how come you didn't wait up" he said trying to catch his breath. " Oh sorry I guess I was a bit distracted",I said apologizing. "Oh really how come?", he said. I wanted to tell him about the whole sonic rainboom and the the chest I found but he wouldn't believe. " Um we'll it's nothing really it was just a dream I had." "Could you at least tell me what it was about.", He said. "Ok well it's started like this....". "Move out of the way!!" Before I could explain the story someone yelled out to tell us to move. I looked behind and saw a girl with rainbow colored hair, wearing blue pants, blue shoes, light blue jacket and a white shirt with cloud and rainbow lighting bolt on it. She ran towards our direction and before I could move she rammed into me and she fell over me. I laid there on the ground in pain with her on top of me. She lifted her up looking at me and started to blush. She got up as quick as she could and said nothing but looked at me with a Tsundere smile. But what I didn't know is there was another close to us but she was shyly hiding a couple of blocks away. She had pink hair, a yellow sweater and green clothes. When I wasn't noticing She looked at me with a look you get from a deranged lunatic stalker and that's exactly what she was.
