Conflict: Possible End of The World

Welcome to the land of Equestria,(Whats left of it). Here we find nothing but a barren wasteland, primarily the cause of the "Ragnarok" asteroid that had impacted the once beautiful and fruitful landscape. Ground Zero: The Griffon Kingdom, no survivors, so they say. The effect of the blast had rocked and devestated the whole land! Here we find the city of Canterlot, that has been reduced to rubble, and its inhabitants, none.
Except for a few lucky survivors, that are located where? Well underground of course! Bunker 108 populated with barely over 100 people, one of them included in the wonderful group of individuals is the handsome and strong, matured teen, Spike Dragul.
Join Spike as he sets out to find the answer to the "Xenovirus"? and meets new people along the way, will he find out how to save Equestria and find a cure for the disease that is plaguing their world? Or will they all be gone and lost forever? When the Apocalypse, concludes?!?!?!?!

Author's Note:
The Story's world is based on future western United States, but with concepts of "Equestria geography" in it, (mostly pointing out it will have things like Ponyville, Canterlot, and Griffon Kingdom in specific locations; but use the aspect of terrain and layout for western and mid-western America). There is Romance aspects in a few parts of the story, but not enough that I'm going to put the Romance tag on it.

(p,s) this is my first story that I'm posting on here. This took a bunch of planning and working hard to make sure it does not suck. So I am open to critiquing and any suggestions and or comments on the story! characters that are T.B.A are going to happen later in the story for now we have just the few that will appear in the first few chapters.
